Number is the story of emanation of being from non-being. The sequence from zero towards infinity with each step deepening the complexity of relationships is in everything around us. It isn't that reality is made of number so much as it cannot help but constantly recreate number.
The trouble with number is that too many of us learned numbers as a fundamental experience of social control of our mind. Authority telling us to memorize and repeat rather than explore and understand. We experience numbers at school as the first place where we are told that we are wrong. Numbers became sheets of tedious work covered in red marks exposing our mistakes.
To return to number it must be experienced anew. Dropping the decimal system is a useful tool for this. The factor glyphs are built up of the relations of emanation itself and can meet the mind as sufficiently alien that numbers may be experienced as they are, fundamental units of the deepest mysteries.
The form of the glyphs follows a simple process, though zero and one are outliers being a circle and a vertical line. Two is a straight line. Three is a curve. Five is a spiral. Composite numbers are made by composition of the glyphs of its factors with the largest factors coming first. So six is a curve and a straight line and twelve is a curve and two straight lines, etc. Prime numbers are formed from the glyph of the preceding composite number, moving the straight line to an angle, and putting a cross line through it to indicate the number which follows. Beyond this there are aesthetic choices which may be adapted as suits preferred style.

Sigil magick users: Do you find that your sigils are more effective if you forget them or remember them?
I haven’t found personally one method to work better than the other for me, and I’m curious to see what it’s like for others! Thank you.

Existential Sigil Working
Existentialism was summarized by Sartre as "existence precedes essence." That is, we find ourselves existing in a meaningless arbitrary world and it is our job to build whatever meaning that existence will have.
So it should be in our magick. Start the work first, get into trance, and then figure out the intent of the spell you will cast when you are in the midst of casting it.
Sartre also wrote at length about the relationship between the self image and the image of ourselves held by others. This working can be done with a partner or group for greater effect.
Procedure
Get a scrap of paper roughly the size of your palm, something to write with, and a sterile lancet. This work can be done alone or with a partner as described below. If working with a partner you will need two lancets.
Place the paper in the palm of your non-dominant hand.
Enter trance by breath control or other preferred method.
Once a deep trance has been obtained, open your eyes and look at your hand with the paper.
Crush the paper by closing your hand.
Open your hand, flatten out the paper, and return it to your non-dominant hand.
Crush the paper again and flatten again.
Repeat for a total of fourteen iterations. If counting with the emanant void magick this is "nĭn" through "tŏth", following the Fool's journey through to Death, the first awareness of the passage of time and the formation of memory and symbol.
Flatten the paper and look at the folds and creases left on it from the process of crushing and flattening it. Find a particular feature that stands out and trace over it with your writing implement. It could be a single line of a crease or several points. Whatever stands out.
Now pause to gaze at these marks until they seem to mean something. Perhaps the marks suggest an image or letters?
As the meaning comes into focus begin to add marks to anchor and direct the meaning.
For example, the original marks may seem to reference a relationship in your life. Your additional marks can reinforce the original marks, bring them into harmony, or they can be used to intentionally break up the original. Whatever you choose to do there should be a developing clear sense of what the symbol means and what you want in regards to that meaning.
When this symbol seems complete, place the paper on the index finger of your non-dominant hand.
Take the sterile lancet pierce through the paper in the center of your sigil into your index finger below and say, "It is done."
If working with a partner, now flip the finished symbol upside down onto the index finger of your dominant hand. Your partner now uses a fresh sterile lancet to pierce through the backside of the paper into your index finger and says, "It is witnessed." If your partner is also doing a sigil then switch roles and repeat.
Burn the paper, dispose of your lancets safely.
