Because Steve is a sweet boy who understands the pressures that “polite” society expects of their children. And would just spoil the shit out of Chrissy.

And eddie would see his two preps struggle with all their body issues and internalized phobias and just wrap them up in a blanket of love and understanding.

While both Chrissy and Steve would just validate the hell out of Eddie. Be so supportive of the band and in Chrissy’s case even play D&D with him(and be a total badass at it). Steve would watch and support from the sidelines and throw out sassy/bitchy o liners at the players.

Stranger Things x Addams Family AU

Eddie as the eldest Addams child. Beloved by his parents, a fantastic brother to his siblings Max and Dustin. He wants nothing more than to have a relationship like his parents do loving, demented, bed breaking. Which is what makes Chrissy such a surprise to him.

She stumbles into his life quite unexpectedly, he was on a relaxing evening stroll in the woods when he found her. She was crying, had been tossed from her home after having a pregnancy scare. Eddie wrapped her up in his coat and took her home with him, had Mama check her over. She was not pregnant which she was relieved by but she didn't feel comfortable at home. She moved into the Addams estate the next day and into Eddie's bed a few months later. His family accepted her immediately and she took to them as well, helping Mama in the garden, learning knife throwing from his father. Eddie dealt with a fair amount of teasing from his siblings for being such a white sheep, falling for a cheerleader of all things. Like it mattered whenever he leaned back in his desk chair and felt the scratches she left on his back. She'd broken out a cattle prod last night, it was ecstasy.

They are happy, Chrissy loves his family and has found a new life in the darkness with him, but they both acknowledge that they feel incomplete. They lay curled together in their bed, fingers pressing into bruises and talk about the idea of a third. Eddie thought it too much to ask, he had already been so blessed with Chrissy, to find another that would fit in with them would be a tall order.

Funny enough it is the children that find their answer for them, they really are the future as father says. Max and Dustin's friends are quite the trouble magnets it seems. Eddie adores running their fantasy games, complete with chopped off limbs and spurts of blood, all thanks to a little help from Thing of course. Eddie was vaguely aware of the other kids babysitter, Steve; hadn't given him much thought in school though. Until a creature he's never seen before interrupts his and Chrissy's date night. Before Eddie can reach for his blades a nail filled bat swings into the creatures side and smacks it away from them. 'Are you both okay?' The sun seems to ask them as they are spattered in thick blood from the bat ripping free of the creatures side. They are both bewitched in a heartbeat.

Tanned arms, thick hair the color the moon during an eclipse, Eddie is salivating as Steve Harrington balances such a delightful creation across his shoulders. Splattering blood across them might as well have been a marriage proposal. When he invites them to dinner as an apology it's all they need to decide he is the one. They allow Steve to wine and dine them before dragging him into a dark corner to get their lips and hands on him, Steve stumbles home that night with a neck coated in lipstick and hickeys... and bite marks.

It seems like he will refuse them at first. Chrissy says she will take the lead on wooing Steve and Eddie agrees easily. He can admit he was insanely turned on watching Chrissy waltz Steve around the dancefloor at one of the Addams many parties. And then the minx twirls Steve right into his arms and Eddie picks up right where she left off, pulling Steve in close and purring filthy praises into his ear. Steve whimpered and screamed beautifully for them that night. Mama gave them a cheeky smile at the breakfast table, asking Steve about the delightful bat he'd made while Chrissy and Eddie kept a hand on each of his thighs.

Steve is hesitant at first around Eddie's family, but much like Chrissy had before the other man blossoms under the devoted care and attention of the Addams clan. Eddie and Chrissy are unrelentingly devoted to Steve and him to them. The children all play together so well too, the halls of their mansion filled with screams. Day and night.

One of Eddie's cousins is sending them a custom, handmade bedframe, since the trio has already broken the last two.

The Lost Boys came out in 1987. And you can’t tell me that Eddie Munson would not have made that film his whole personality.

And you know damn well he would be mad jealous of how hot Steve found Jason Patric, Billy Wirth, Brooke McCarter, Keifer Sutherland, and Alex Winter. Like you know he’d have a poster up in his room that he stole was conveniently missing from family video.

Like genuinely, I see Steve waxing poetic and going on long drawn out tangents about Jason and Brooke’s hair from the movie, specifically. And Eddie just sitting there not so silently fuming. Mumbling under his breathe how SUPER nice and heavy metal his hair is.

Bonus points if it’s Kas Eddie. Phew boy! He’d be pointing out and correcting all the inaccuracies about vampires in the film and getting all stuffy whenever Steve shushes him. Everytime there’s a movie night Steve suggests they watch it. Like at this point he blatantly stole a copy from work. Obviously Eddie calls him on it one night when it’s just the two of them, after steve starts bemoaning his lack of hot vampire goth boyfriend. Eddie finally snaps and gets all in Steve’s face and asks(loudly), “what’s so great about them(their hair/general aesthetic) when you’ve got me?! Who’s an actual vampire…with great hair!!” And Steve just tilts his head and shrugs and says “you know what? You’re right.” Then proceeds to lay one(several) on Eddie.

Bonus bonus points if we have an alive reformed Billy who takes offense to Steve’s(and Eddie’s) attraction to Keifer and Billy Wirth.

Like oh my god! The possibilities are endless.

Like idk but i love the film, it’s one of my favorites and just gives such great Steddie/metalsandwich vibes.

Going into the bar, Steve isn't really feeling hopeful. He’s trying to keep his expectations at a minimum, especially after the shit show his last date had been, but Argyle had set him up on this one and promised that the guy was decent, even cute once you got to know him. So, he tries to keep an open mind while he fetches a beer and then sits down in the booth right across the door. He is way too early, doesn’t expect the other one to be there already, so he gets his book out and trusts that the agreed upon blue polo will do its job.

Steve is fully immersed in his book when someone suddenly sets a beer down next to his.

"Hi beautiful," a nice voice says. And, as he looks up, he’s met with an even nicer face.

"You must be my date, right?" the guy across from him asks with a smile. The smile is nice too, it makes the guy look playful and open and his eyes sparkle with how they light right up with it. He looks almost too hopeful.

The guy is exactly Steve's type, like as if he came straight from one of his dreams. Honestly, Steve is really impressed, surprised even. He didn’t think Argyle would manage to find him someone even near his taste; it’s almost scary.

"I would hope so," he answers, trying for a flirtatious grin, "I'm Steve."

"Nice to meet you, Steve. I'm Eddie," Eddie says and carefully knocks their beers together.

"So," he starts, "what are you reading?"

Steve holds the book up for inspection and before he knows it, they are engaged in a wonderful conversation. At one point, Eddie gets up only to slide into the booth next to Steve, and then he moves incrementally closer, draping his arm around Steve's shoulder and encouraging how Steve leans into him until they are pressed together wherever possible.

Chrissy and Eddie have a small list of rules when it comes to inviting thirds into their bed, most important of which is 'never more than once'. That rule crumbles to ash the second they have Steve Harrington in their arms.

I adore this pairing so much, however this pairing forms, whoever was together first they just work in my opinion. Paramedic!Steve, Nurse!Chrissy, Tattoo Artist!Eddie. Steve is a little oblivious to the good thing happening to him but he's not self deprecating about it. No miscommunication no problems just a happy little polycule enjoying some sexy times.

oh always!!! I love the idea of them all essentially living in Steve's house over the summer. My fave dynamic for steddissy is hellcheer dating and Steve slowly, very confusedly becoming part of their relationship. I've been thinking about the little pockets of time that they would have overlapping. For example: Chrissy falls asleep the earliest out of all of them, usually on the couch after a long shift at a sales counter followed by catching the evening sun. So Eddie carries her to bed (this is not very smooth. she almost drops out of his arms a couple of times and steve is definitely swearing at him and following them up the stairs with his arms out as a spotter). So then Eddie and Steve climb up on the roof to share a spliff and talk.

But then Steve is an early riser (he has trouble sleeping) so he's up in the smaller hours, maybe getting ready for work alongside Chrissy. They share a coffee together and he makes them a quick breakfast, and then Steve drops Chrissy at work and everyone Chrissy works with thinks they're dating.

I just think like. Chrissy is at work so Steve is Eddie's passenger princess for a drug deal on the way to grocery store to pick up more marshmallows for the bonfire they're gonna have that night. Chrissy comes home to Eddie and Steve covered in grease and fixing some weird noise that Eddie's van is making.

Chrissy and Eddie having whispered midnight conversations that somehow always lead to Steve. Eddie very tenderly confessing his attraction to Steve and Chrissy in return confessing the first crush she ever had on a girl in middleschool. Just like. Eddie figuring out why he wants to be in Steve's space all the time and Steve leaning away from him less and less. Um. Hot days in the pool and making each other laugh and sharing clothes. Chrissy in her little green bikini waiting until Eddie goes inside for something and turning to Steve with the sunscreen and a sweet little "could you please get my back?" and Steve falling harder every day for both of them and refusing to examine his own feelings.
