RWBY Grimm Guardians Arc 4: Re-Bonding In Mistral Ch 6 (Part II)
Here’s Part 2 of Chapter 6.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(The next morning…)
As everyone was having breakfast, still absorbing the conversation from last night, the youngest of the team leaders went to the living room.
“Yang…” Ruby called out. Her big sister hummed from the couch, turning to face the younger of the two with a raised eyebrow. The red cloaked teenager bit her lip. She knew she shouldn’t ask this... But she wanted to try and help. “Do you...want to talk about Blake and...our other mom…?” She asked with hesitation. As expected, the blonde sighed, “Blake, yes. Mom...I’d like to wait for now.”
“She didn’t come back with Mom...did she?” Ruby asked, sitting next to her big sister on the couch. Yang shook her head, “No, but I get why. Stepmom gave Mom a choice and Mom alone has to decide if she’s ready to return.” “She’d do the same with us, if we were in that position.” She explained. “It’s just…” The blonde sighed, racking her fingers through her hair.
“I just...wished this was an easy choice for her.” She said. “I get it. She wants to protect us and proud of her for that.” Ruby nodded in agreement, before asking, “But you want her to do it where you can spend time with her. Right?” “I know it’s a bit hypocritical…” Yang said. “But, unlike Blake, I’ve been without Mom my whole life…”
“I can’t talk to her the same way I can speak to Blake.” The blonde said. “I…still don’t know Mom well enough for that.” Her younger sister nodded, “I get that. Also, unlike our other mom, you and Blake have a more effective means of staying in contact.”
Yang nodded in agreement as she rested her head on Ruby’s shoulder. “I know you’re questioning your thoughts. I am too…” The younger of the two said. “So, trust me. We’ll both get answers soon enough. I’m sure...”
“She might be anxious over Dad’s possible reaction too.” She explained. Yang nodded, before shivering, “I don’t want to know how bad THAT might end up.” Ruby nodded in agreement, “We’ll see how it goes... and support them in the best way we can.”
The blonde nodded, before the two rested on the couch. As the morning went on, they watched Jaune spending time with Pyrrha, while Ren spent time with Nora. “Those two pairs are cute together.” Yang chuckled. Ruby grinned, “Aren’t they?”
Weiss then sat down next to them, with Ruby saying, “Your mom looks WAY different now.” The heiress gave a soft chuckle, “Yeah. It’s almost unbelievable.” “But it’s nice. I’m happy with it.” Weiss smiled. “She...finally feels better about herself.”
The tallest of the three sighed, “Speaking of parents, will Blake and Gambol’s like us?”
Weiss sighed, “I hope so. I don’t want to be judged based on my father’s actions.” “From what Mom said since our virtual meeting, they seem really nice and understanding.” Ruby said. “We might be good in their eyes, if they believe Blake.”
“Speaking of Blake, she texted me earlier.” Yang said. Her sister and Weiss turned to look at the blonde, to which she said, “We’ll need to be careful. White Fang’s gonna attack Haven soon.” “Shit…” Ruby whispered, to which Yang nodded. “Yeah.” The blonde replied. “How long do we have?” The heiress asked. The blonde sighed, “Approximately two weeks. They could attack earlier. We’ll need to hurry and be cautious.” “Blake and her family will be coming to help us out.” She explained.
Ruby and Weiss nodded. That was, at least, one good sign.
The three noticed Evergreen comforting Oscar in the kitchen. “Seems like last night made him feel worse about himself.” The youngest of the three said. Yang nodded, “It was Ozma, not him.” The heiress nodded, “Though it seems he’s struggling to see the difference.”
The sister pair nodded in agreement. Qrow entered the living room with a mug of coffee, before looking at his nieces. The two just each gave him a reassuring nod, before he gently combed their bangs out of their eyes with a chuckle.
“Guys…?”
Everyone turned to face Summer as she entered the room, before Ruby, Yang, Qrow, and Evergreen’s eyes widened. As the former STRQ leader stood before them, she was in the EXACT appearance she had prior to her death. She was shorter, had no scars, had longer hair, and had her black dress again.
Yang immediately sat up, before she and Ruby began standing.
“Sum…?” The former bandit called out, covering his lips in shock as he almost dropped the mug. His former leader nodded, shaking, “Please...tell me I’m not DREAMING. Please tell me...that I’m still here.”
Immediately, the former bandit realized that his former leader had triggered her strongest ability. Her unique semblance: Transformation.
Putting the mug on the table, Qrow walked up to her and racked his fingers through the woman’s hair, before holding her. “I’m SO proud of you…” He said, a smile forming on his face. “You remembered your greatest strength.” Something in the former STRQ leader cracked as she broke into tears, burying her face into the now taller man’s shoulder and holding him tightly. “It’s okay, Sum. It’s okay.” The former bandit whispered. “This is real. You’re not dreaming. You’re still here.”
Yang and Ruby, without hesitation, immediately rushed up to them and hugged their mom. Qrow gave a weak, yet genuine chuckle as he said, “I’m so proud of you…” Summer finally pulled back a bit, wiping her face dry and sniffing. “Sorry…” She mumbled, referring to the stain on Qrow’s shoulder. The former bandit smiled, “Don’t be. You know I’d sacrifice a dry shoulder for you, Rae, Tai, and the kids any day.”
The now shorter woman nodded, before holding her daughters...or at least attempting to, given that the two had wrapped their arms around her waist and abdomen from behind her.
As the two teenagers released their hold on the former STRQ leader, she let out a sigh. “I’ve missed this…” She mumbled with a tired smile, before pointing at the stubbled man in front of her. “Doesn’t mean you get to use the height jokes, Qrow.” The former bandit gave a fake pout, “You’re no fun.” Summer gave a genuine chuckle, “And even though I’m shorter, I’m still a can of ass-kicking. I told you that ages ago.” Qrow smiled, raising his hands with a nod, “Yes, yes. You did.”
The two stood like that for a few moments, before Summer once again tightly hugged the taller man. “Easy, Sum…” The former bandit said with a smile. “I got you.” He felt his former leader nod, tightening her hold on him.
Summer began to wonder if this was what it was like. To love yourself.
She believed that this was probably ONE way to love yourself. If so, she’d take it with every bit of joy in her. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Some time later…at Haven Academy…)
Finally the group had arrived at the academy. And as they entered, the headmaster, Leonardo Lionheart welcomed them. “Why hello. Thank you for...coming.” He said with a nervous chuckle. “There seems to be...more of you than last time.” Everyone raised an eyebrow, before Qrow said, “Well, the more the merrier, as they say. What’s going on with the council?” “Why did you...bring your weapons?” Lionheart asked.
Once again, the group was confused by the headmaster’s nervous tone…
As well as getting suspicious…
“We’re huntsmen, Lionheart.” Evergreen said, before giving his fellow headmaster a concerned expression. “Is everything alright?” The bearded faunus nodded, “Yes, of course! I apologize.” “Haven’t had my evening coffee yet.” He explained.
Summer and Evergreen knew THAT was a lie and a half.
Suddenly, Summer felt Yang gently tugging on her sleeve as she whispered, “Mom’s here.” The former STRQ leader knew Ember heard that...and probably Ruby and Qrow too. The tallest of the group turned towards the balcony Yang was now pointing to, revealing a black bird on it. Nodding, she then said, “Raven… If you could be polite and come down here, please.”
The group watched as the bird flew from the balcony and landed in front of Summer, before transforming and revealing Raven, removing her mask...and still wearing Summer’s cloak. “You are too observant for your own good.” She said...with a noticeably somber tone.
That alone made Yang realize that her mother didn’t want to be at Haven. Qrow went up to the two, asking, “The hell are you doing here…?” Summer continued to look at her former partner in the eye, before whispering, “You’re not here by choice… Are you?”
The tribe leader sighed, whispering, “Bribed. Salem’s brats want the Relic.” The twins could hear the uncanny wolf growl from their former leader. “And Vampier?” The taller woman asked. Raven closed her eyes, “She’ll be here too.”
Summer sighed, “Very well then. I can make her beg for mercy again.” “I know you will.” The elder Branwen whispered with a small smirk. “Plan is to trick them into fucking up.” The taller woman chuckled, “I’m glad you still got that clever side of you.” The twins smiled, before noticing their former leader grinning as she said to them, “Better make this convincing. Got it?”
“Yes, ma’am.” The Branwens whispered, obviously a little anxious by how willing Summer seemed to go along with this plan. The three then backed up from each other, before Summer whispered in each of her daughters’ ears. As she did that, Qrow successfully managed to distract Lionheart by asking Raven in a convincing angry tone, “There’s only one reason you’d be here. You got the Spring Maiden, right?”
Unexpectedly, the elder twin gave Qrow a noticeable flinch. His jaw nearly dropped in shock. ‘Oh fuck, do NOT tell me…’ He thought to himself in worry. Summer paled, realizing that Qrow didn’t know that Raven was a Maiden...and she was certain the tribe leader was internally panicking. ‘Those two need to play their cards VERY carefully right now.’ She thought. ‘Or we’re so fucked…’
“I do.” Raven said...and as expected, Qrow was even more shocked. ‘Fuck…’ He thought, before saying, “Okay… Then help us by letting her join us…” “Not that simple, little brother.” The tribe leader said. “You know as well as I do that fighting Salem is just a LOSING battle.” Her little brother sighed, “Rae, we’ve been over this. We can stop her. She’s not invincible.”
“She’s right, Qrow.” Summer suddenly said in a monotone voice, drawing a lot of shocked reactions towards her. “Nearly...died ONCE...against Salem.”
The twins and Evergreen looked the most horrified out of everyone present. Against her better judgement, the elder Branwen asked, “Then why are you still fighting?” “Not. Just...protecting you all…” Her former leader said, once again in a monotone voice. The twins felt like their hearts SHATTERED when they heard that. Raven could tell that Evergreen seemed very guiltful over this. Summer’s fingers twitched, before she said, “Can’t kill HER. But her TOOLS, on the other hand…”
“Kill off...or defeat her support? She’s alone.” The former STRQ leader said. “We can, at least...make her fail.” She then perked up, looking around her, as if she had forgotten where she was. Summer then cleared her throat, before saying, “Sorry… That was...something I needed to get off my chest...for quite some time.” “I think…” She mumbled. The group and Raven assumed that the taller woman just had a flashback and whatever thoughts that were still buried decided to show up.
Raven seemed to know very well as to what Summer was talking about earlier.
“As much as I’d like to continue this discussion...and be proven wrong....” The tribe leader started. “This group won’t let me waste anymore time.” She then half-heartedly swung Omen down, opening a portal. A fireball and an energy blast launched out, both hitting Summer to little effect. She had dashed in front of Ruby...and as the smoke cleared, the former STRQ leader glared into the portal. “I see you got a new toy to play with.” She said as Vampier stepped out.
The Bat Queen grinned smugly, “Yeah. Do you like it?” “A...friend of mine has a new toy as well.” She said pointing at the portal as Cinder stepped into the room. The teenagers paled as their eyes widened in shock.
“Thought you saw the last of me, brats?” The red-dressed woman grinned. She and Vampier then looked at a now-furious Pyrrha. The Bat Queen raised an eyebrow, “Aren’t you supposed to be dead?”
It was taking a lot of strength from Jaune, Ren, and Nora to make sure the armored redhead didn’t rush in and get fatally injured again. Cinder looked at Ruby, who looked like she saw a ghost. “Did you like my gift?” The Fall Maiden asked with a grin.
“How…?” The red cloaked teenager asked, shocked that CInder was standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. Her mind almost flashed back to her nightmare as the red-dressed woman sighed, “Salem’s QUITE generous. Gave me a new arm, new ability…”
“And freed me from my FEAR of you damn brats.” She emphasized with a grin. She then snapped her fingers and soon, Mercury, Emerald, and Vernal had entered the room. “Ah, if it isn’t the assholes who tried to make us look bad.” Yang smirked. “Now we can kick your asses without feeling guilty.” Ruby managed to ignore Cinder as she looked at her sister and Ember, “You two want my scythe?”
The taller blonde ruffled the younger Rose’s hair, “Thanks, kid. But we’d rather punch their teeth out.”, before going into Yang’s gauntlet. The blonde teenager looked at Ruby, obviously concerned as she whispered, “Are you going to be okay?” The younger of the two shook her head, “I...really don’t know…” Weiss put a hand on her leader’s shoulder, “You understand that you have us to help you. Right?”
Ruby gave a small smile and nodded, before jumping as Willow shielded them from another fireball. “What’s the game plan?” She asked Summer. The former STRQ leader narrowed her eyes, before saying, “Vampier’s mine.” She then looked at the teenagers, “Can you take on Cinder and her brainwashed children?” After a few moments of silence of looking at each other, both teams nodded. Summer smiled, giving them a reassuring nod.
She then looked at Qrow and Evergreen, “You two and Willow try to take on Raven and Vernal.” “At least to make this somewhat believable to Cinder…” She whispered. The three adults nodded, before Qrow and Summer noticed a brief, but thankful smile on the tribe leader’s face. “Do me a favor and don’t hold back, brawd.” Raven said. Reluctantly, Qrow nodded, “If that’s what you want, chwaer.”
Cinder formed a flame in her hand with a grin, while Vampier charged her new pistols. “If we’re all done with this chit-chat…” The Fall Maiden started. “Time. For. Some. FUN!” Summer immediately pulled out her sabers, before everyone began charging at each other. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- God, this was hard, but I hope it was good enough.
College is a pain in the fucking ass and some personal shit with anxiety had also prolonged this.
Now, Transformation works like this: Summer can transform into things that represent her or her bloodline (for example: A giant gray wolf, a legit giant, a Beowolf Grimm, herself prior to her death or during Beacon, and...something else that will be revealed in the future, hopefully). She can partially transform into other creatures, but it’s difficult to do so. Also, she prefers not doing it with other things.
Of course, these forms (excluding the mysterious one (for reasons not yet set in stone) and her appearances prior to her initial death (because it's just a cosmetic change)) all have their own benefits and flaws.
Naturally, her wolf forms can allow her to communicate with canines, like Zwei for example. As her Beowolf Grimm form was granted by the Grimm blood now inside her, she’s able to communicate with Grimm.
The next three chapters will ALL be about Haven’s fall. With a LOT of differences.

Supernatural Tale
It’s a beautiful day out. The sun is shining and the wind is blowing.  I’m with my best friend and ex-girlfriend Rosa Lane and he boyfriend Daren. Of course it is some what akward because I still love her but she was my best friend first.  There is something I forgot to mention Rosa is a vampier, no she doesn’t sparkle, and Daren is a  ghoul, a human who likes vampier blood.  I myself am not a supernatural being. I am a hunter. I hunt and kill creaturs who have turned bad. My name is Cade Wyile . We were sitting out in the grass watching the sun set. Daren and Rosa were laying down holding hands. I sat up drinking the last of my water and stood up. “ It’s been fun guys see ya tommrow.” I said. “wait.” Rosa called and she jumped up and gave me a hug. She smelled like strawberries. “ Love ya see you later.”  I started walking and I saw the bushes rumble. I can hear Daren asking for blood.  Part of me feels that he’s just using her. I reach my car as I hear Rosa scream. In an instent I take off running as I reach Rosa I pull out my pistol. “ Are you okay?” I asked looking around for Daren. “ Wheres Daren?” Rosa was shaking and I looked around. I saw a large pentagram the seamed burnt into the ground. I could smell a hint of sulfer. Fucking demons.  “ Rosa look at me.” I told her.  She was shaking so badly. “Rosa relax I need you to tell me what happed.” She still didn’t responed. I pulled out my poket knife and cut open my finger enough to draw a little blood. I ran it over her lips and her shaking stopped. “ They took Daren.  Red eyes. Bloody hands. They said he was special. Something about the moon.” Rosa said. I picked her up and carried her to my car, a black 1970 Camero. I layed her down in the back seat amd drove to the one place I knew where to find answeres.  I drove to Arthimus’ house. Art was a former hunter. He got hunt on a hunt once. it wasnt bad.Phisicaly hes fine but mentally hes heads not in it anymore. sonow he's just a resercher. I pulled into he’s drive way and saw the front door kicked in. I pulled out my gun and cocked it. I hear a smash and a yell. I run it to see  a demon strangeling Arthimus. I fired to shots  into the demons back. He turned and I saw is red eyes and long black nails. He growled and only one thing cam into my mind. “ Oh shit.” It lunged at me and had it hands around my neck. My gun was to far but I still had my knife. I moved my hand down to my pocket and pull it out. I open the blade and stab the demon in the head.  He let go and fell over in pain. I ran over and grab my gun and shot him in the head and in the heart.  I ran into Arthimus’s house and he was breathing heavliy I leaned down and helped him up. “ Fuck man what the fuck? Demons fucking brake in next thing is you show the fuck up and blow his fucking head off? .  Fuck man.” He walked over and sat on a chair. “Art look I need some information and it involves the demon that just attacked you.” I pointed to where the body was and it was gone. I could see the trail of blood going off in the distance.  “ That’s just great.” I expressed. “ Art what do you know about any sacrafices involing the moon and a ghoul.” “ Hmmm. Well  I know that the harvest moon will be eclipsed in two weeks and if a hundred ghouls are sacficed  a vampire can becoume immune to water and crosses and any supernatural or mithical thing that couldn’t kill them.” Art answered. “ Art I’ll be right back.” I walked over to Rosa and she was sleeping.  I know when you ask her something in her sleep she answers truthfully.  I leaned down and whispered “ Rosa do you love Daren?” She replied with “ Yes i do.” In a very sleepy voice. “ Do you want Cade to bring him back?” I asked She started to tear up in her sleep “ Please bring him back. I love him.” I kisses her forehead and said” I’ll bring him back for you I promise even if it kills me.” I stood up and walk back to Art.  “ Hey can you watch over her for me? I got to go save her … Boyfriend.” Art looked at me. He saw right though me. “ Do you want to do this Cade? This is your ex-girlfriend is she worth it to you? You know she’ll never love you the same again. She’ll end up with him forever.” I looked him in the face. “ That’s the point. I don’t care if she’s in love with me. I want her happy and if this is what I have to do then so be it.  She is to important to me to see her this way. Art I know you can understand this but I need to make her smile.” Art looked at me for a moment and the screamed.” This is the same fucking cunt who…” I pulled my gun and held it to his face and cocked it. I could feel the  hate boil in me.. “ Don’t you ever , EVER, call her that I’ll fucking kill you. We may be friends but you insult someone I care about I’ll kill you.” I holsted my gun and walked out. I got in my car and drove to find more answers I needed a vampire to give me answers. Severin is the only vampire I know who will answer my questions. I couldn’t shake the thought of Rosa saying “ please bring him back. .” I speed up. I know its not my problem to deal with. I have Riza and James at home waiting for me. Once I stop the treats the could attack them I would come back home. I arrived at Severin’s House . I walked up to the door and kicked it in. “ Severin get your ass down here. “ I yelled. Severin came running down. “Ohhh hey Cade. What brings you here ?“  He asked. I saw he was sweating. I pulled my gun and said. “I’m here for answeres.” I cocked the gun. “ I need the name of the vampire trying to become immune.” He looked shocked. “ I don’t know what your talking about.” I shot his shoulder.” Don’t fucking lie to me.” “I don’t know.” I shot again in the other shoulder. “ Fine ok fine I’ll tell you. His name is Aiden Love. He acts all good but he’s not. He stores ghouls behind a hell wall and has been waiting for the eclipse. He runs a nightclub downtown called Tomb. That’s wall I know. I fucking swear.” “ Well looks like im going to Tomb.” I turned around and started walking. I hear a growl and a hiss. I turned and saw Severin getting up and run to me. I grabed him by the neck and said “ Your so fucking dumb.” Place the barrel of my gun in his mouth and said “ Bye my friend" and I fired. He dropped dead on the ground and I walked back to my car. So I’m going to tomb. I need guns first. I know just the guy to call. I pulled out my cell and hit speed dial nine. The phone rang and a female voice answered. “Hello?” she asked. “ Hey good looking how are you doing?” I said. “ Cade Smith you son of a bitch do you know what time it is?” She yelled. “Well Scarlet is time to wake up I got a big job I’m doing. I’m hunting a fang by the name of Aiden Love. He’s a big fish in a really small pond.” “ I know of him. Runs Tomb and club’s full of vamps?” “Yeah that’s him” “ You’re gonna need a lot of guns and man power. “ “ Guns yes manpower no. I’m doing this solo. Ill be there in a few hours. “ “ you live ten minutes way Cade. Why a few hours?” “ Spending my last days alive with someone who cares about me.” I said. “ Cade we all care about you. Not just him.”  Scarlet told me. “ He’s my son and I have to see him once before I die.” I told her. “ Cade….” Scarlet said and I hung up. The thing is I’m still married and in love with a women named Riza. She knows my line of work and helped a few times. After she gave birth to James monster after monster attacked. This is the life of a hunter. All these monsters were after me so I did the only thing I thought I could do. I ran. The sun was rising when I reached my wife,Riza’s house. I parked infront and walked up the pouch steps and knocked on the screen door. She opened the door and stood in shock. She then wraped her arms around me and hugged me close. “Cade I missed you.” I hugged her tight. “ Riza, I miss you so much. I can’t risk you or James getting hurt.” I leaned down and kissed her gently. “ I have some unpleset news. You’re not going to like it.” Riza looked me in the eyes and said” What is it?” Her eyes started to water. I hate to see her like this. “I’m going to a vampire den and kill Aiden Love. The thing is he’ll be surrounded by others. I could die…. I most likely will die.  I just wanted to see you guy one last time.” It broke my heart to say this but I did. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain on my cheek. I look up to see Riza Crying. “ You are Cade Wyile. You can trick Loki, out shoot Apolo and Artimis. The best damn hunter in America in over 200 years.” Riza was starting to get angry. “ “  Daddy?” A small voice came up. I turned and saw James in his little cowboy pajamas. He wiped the sleep from his is and ran as fast as his toodler legs could go. "DADDY!!" he yelled and jumped up. " Daddy i missed you. You comeing home for a while again?" "No buddy. Daddys going away for a long time." I felt a tear start to form.

RWBY Grimm Guardians Arc 2: Beacon’s Fragile Light Ch XI
Hey, everyone! This is the eleventh chapter of Beacon’s Fragile Light! Here, we head to the main event: the Fall of Beacon! As usual, please enjoy.
Disclaimer: Still own nothing!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(At the Amity Colosseum)
To say that everyone was up Shit Creek without a paddle would be an understatement. First, Yang’s match with Mercury was almost compromised, Summer’s Grimm instincts were beginning to run rampant, and now Pyrrha’s match with Penny ended horrifically with Penny being destroyed. Ruby, who was investigating Mercury, collapsed to her knees at what she had just witnessed.
Summer hugged her tightly, also shocked by the recent battle. She began rocking the teenager as the young leader started to cry. “I’m sorry....” The former STRQ leader whispered, her voice filled with guilt. She reluctantly turned her attention to Ruby’s scroll, pulling it out and texting the other girls in a group chat. “This is Cres. You...all saw that… Right?” She asked.
Yang texted, “Yeah. Are you two safe?” “Safe, yes.” The former leader replied. Blake texted, “I’m sorry…. I know this isn’t the best time, but Yang, Weiss and I need you and Ember at the fairgrounds.” “On our way.” The blonde replied. “Cres, can you help Ruby?” “I’ll try….” Summer typed, before putting the scroll away. “Ruby…?” She called out. Her daughter’s head shifted slightly towards her, making her tears more visible.
“Ruby… We need to help Yang and our friends…” The elder Rose said, gently helping the young leader to her feet. Ruby wiped her tears away, before nodding and hugging Summer tightly. “Shh…. I got you.” The former STRQ leader whispered, pecking her daughter’s forehead. “I’m always here.” After a few moments, Ruby whispered, “This isn’t fair…” The elder Rose nodded, “Believe me, I know. I agree.”
The two jumped as a Nevermore, carrying several Grimm Sapiens, broke through the safety barrier and into the arena, before it locked eyes with a shocked Pyrrha. Summer growled, before Ruby said, “I’ll help Pyrrha.” Nodding, the red clad woman said, “I’ll take care of the pawns then.” Nodding in agreement, the young leader grabbed one of Floating Array’s swords, duel wielding it with her scythe.
Summer paused as she and Ruby saw the Nevermore being attacked. Turning, the two spotted teams SSSN, CFVY, ABRN, FNKI, alongside Jaune, Nora, and Ren, weapons out. “We got this beast.” Jaune said. Ruby gave a small smile, before nodding at her Weapon Spirit. The former STRQ leader chuckled, “Alright. I’ll make sure that the weaklings don’t interrupt.” before tackling a couple of the Grimm Sapiens to the ground.
As the five teams combined their strengths to conquer the Nevermore, Summer let herself loose, removing her eyepatch and tearing into the Grimm Sapiens and dismembering them. She ripped one in half, tore off another’s head, and proceeded to crush one’s spine, before snapping its neck. She punched a hole through two Grimms’ chest, killing them instantly.
One Grimm Sapien managed to sneak past the red clad woman and run towards Ruby. Summer froze, before moving at inhuman speeds and getting in front of her daughter. She then caught the beast by its arms, tearing them off, before kicking it to the ground. Before it could stand up and attempt to tear out Summer’s throat with its teeth, Ruby shot it in the head, killing it.
After a few moments of silence, the five teams, Ruby, and Summer gave a look over of the arena. The Grimm Sapiens were dead, as well as the Nevermore. The young leader sighed, before looking at the taller woman, “Are you alright?” “Are you?” The red clad woman asked, covered in Grimm blood, only for her daughter to give her a concerned expression. Sighing, the taller woman nodded, “I’m fine. Just tired.”
Ruby eventually nodded, “Your eyepatch is off.” Summer nodded, “We’re gonna need this power.” “Does it….you know. Hurt?” The young leader asked. The taller woman paused, brief tapping her eyelid, before smirking, “Just a bit numb right now.” The two then went over to Pyrrha, who was crying… Understandably so, since she probably believed that she was RESPONSIBLE for Penny’s death.
“Pyrrha…” The taller woman said, feeling her heart twist as the redhead let out a quiet sob. “This is my fault.” She whispered, prompting Ruby to bend down and hold her. “Pyrrha… This is NOT your fault.” The young leader said. “You aren’t responsible for what happened to Penny.” The redhead just looked at the red clad teenager, “How can you just...say that as if…?” “As if we know that truth?” Summer asked, finishing Pyrrha’s question.
Jaune placed a firm, yet gentle hand on his partner’s shoulder. “Pyrrha… We know you well enough to know that you would never do this....to anyone.”” He said gently. “We’ll find the assholes who’re being this.” He then looked at Summer and Ruby, “Right?” Summer gave a gentle smile, placing a hand on the young man’s shoulder, “Definitely.” She hoped that Jaune wasn’t wrong about that.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(At Beacon Academy....)
“What...do we do now?” Weiss asked, breathing heavily as she almost collapsed to her knees in exhaustion. She, her mother, Blake, and Gambol had been fighting hordes of Grimm, White Fang soldiers, and rogue Atlesian androids for a good while now. Yang was almost there, but the heiress was beginning to worry if she, Ruby, and their Weapon Spirits wouldn’t arrive in time.
Gambol looked around, searching for a means to make a temporary retreat, before hearing the sound of footsteps and voices. Growling on instinct, she turned behind her and drew her blade, only to freeze when she noticed that what she heard were students. Arktis looked behind her and nodded at the elder faunus, “We keep fighting for now.” Blake nodded, “Gambol and I will see if we can derail the White Fang.”  Weiss nodded as the two faunus went in another direction.
After reaching another part of the campus, Blake looked around, “Okay… Where the hell are we going to find the bastard in charge?” A sinister chuckle filled the room, saying, “Now that’s a little rude, don’t you think, Blake?” The teenage faunus froze, feeling her blood go cold as she turned to face the voice she hoped she’d NEVER have to hear again.
Gambol growled, her pupils turning into slits and her nails transforming into panther-like claws. A red-haired bull faunus came out the shadows, causing Blake’s eyes to widen in horror. “Gods… Adam…!” She said, causing the man to smile. “Hello, darling.” He said, giving a very arrogant leer towards the two. “Why and how the fuck are you not dead yet?!” Gambol shouted, furious that the man had the gall to show himself after everything he had done. He smirked, “Now where’s the fun in telling you?”

(Meanwhile…)
On a nearby rooftop, Cinder and Vampier grinned as they witnessed the chaos and destruction occurring. “Hope you’re getting good footage.” Vampier said to Mercury, who was broadcasting the violence. “Of course! This is fantastic!” He said. Cinder nodded, “Good.” She then turned to observe Emerald, who seemed...unsettled by what she was witnessing. The pyrokinetic sighed, deciding to not bother with Emerald’s emotions for the time being.
In his...or rather, THEIR office, Evergreen and Ozma watched the carnage happening throughout the campus. “We could’ve prevented this…” The brown haired man said in the mindscape that he and Evergreen shared. Evergreen looked at him in both anger and disbelief, “Oh really!? Then what was your ‘PLAN’ for that!?” The immortal soul opened his mouth, but said nothing, before lowering his head in shame and guilt.
Evergreen stayed silent for a few moments, before eventually sighing. “Look at me, Ozma.” He said. The immortal soul looked up at the man in shock. Not ONCE had he heard the headmaster call him by his REAL name. Evergreen took a deep breath, before saying, “I get that you have good intentions...but your actions are NOT supporting them.” The immortal sighed, “Then what do YOU think we should do?”
Evergreen, now in control of his body, grabbed the Long Memory, “You’re gonna sit back.” He then went out the door, saying, “I’M gonna fight back. Which is what we SHOULD have done from the start.” As he exited the building, the headmaster then began searching for Pyrrha. ‘I can’t believe I’m doing this….’ Evergreen thought. He did NOT want the red haired girl to take up the burden of one of the Four Maidens… But now, there WAS no other option left.
The earth beneath him trembled, before he heard the cry of a Wyvern. The dragon-like Grimm erupted from a mountaintop near Mountain Glenn. Even though he’s miles away from it, Evergreen can tell that it’s on route towards Vale, with possibly many lesser Grimm in tow. The headmaster began running faster, knowing that Beacon’s final moments may be drawing near.
As the students are still fighting, Pyrrha noticed the headmaster running towards them, before he came to a stop and began breathing heavily. Summer briefly split up from Ruby and went up to Evergreen and helped him upright. “Professor? What’s the problem?’ Pyrrha asked. Evergreen looked at her, “I need you to come with me…” Summer raised an eyebrow, before Evergreen nodded. “If something happens to her... veuillez la ressusciter en tant qu'esprit d'armes de Jaune.” He said.
Summer’s jaw almost dropped, “You...can’t be serious…!” The headmaster sighed, “Got no choice anymore…” “You...were against this… Right?” The taller woman asked, receiving a nod from Evergreen. “I hate myself for doing this…. But now the Maiden’s power is NEEDED.” The red clad woman opened her mouth to protest, but instead, she sighed, letting the man go. “You better be right about this…” She said. “I will do what I can if the worst happens.” Evergreen nodded, “Thank you.”
“Now then, please come.” The headmaster said. “I’ll try to explain as much as I can to you on the way.” Pyrrha raised an eyebrow, but eventually followed Evergreen. Ren, Nora, and Jaune looked at the two in confusion. “Where are they going?” Nora asked. “I don’t know…” Jaune said. Summer then shouted, “If you want to help them, then follow! That’s the best advice I can give you right now!” She then joined up with Ruby before the blonde teenager could give a response.
Clenching his fists, Jaune gave a nod to his teammates, ‘I’m going to see what’s going on.” He then ran to follow the headmaster and his partner. Cinder smirked from the rooftop. “Looks like things are finally in place.” She said, her eyes glowing. She gave a grin towards Vampier, “Looks like you’ll get your rematch sooner than expected.” The sadistic woman grinned, “Excellent.”
-To Be Continued-
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And that’s chapter 11! Now then, I suggest going to your regular translating engine (Bing and Google is what I use, personally) and copy-pasting what Evergreen said to Summer in italics on the left side in French.
Have the right side set to English (or your native language) and you will know what Evergreen wants Summer to do.
Now then, the next chapter WILL be graphic in some way. For that, there WILL BE A WARNING. Get it? Got it? Good. Anyway, I’ll see ya later!

(12: 48 PM)
It was a little after noon when the virtual meeting was finally set up. Though this was NOT what anybody had imagined. “What the hell did you get into!?” Weiss shouted as Willow attempted to calm her down. Yang grinned, “Aw, she cares about your well-being.” Ruby made a similar grin, before putting her hands up in defense, “In my defense, I had no control of the situation.” “None of us did.” Summer said. “By the way, yes. I did tell her about me.”
Blake, Weiss, and Willow took note of the change of Summer’s eyes. However, they decided not to comment on them for now. That could wait until they saw each other in-person.
Weiss and Blake sighed, with the latter saying, “Thank gods, because hiding that was hard as hell.” “Ditto.” Her significant other replied, groaning. “Anyway, who’s all with you besides the moms? Ember’s washing up right now.” The faunus teenager nodded, “Gambol’s getting dressed at the moment.” “We got Uncle Qrow with us, as well as three other guests.” Ruby said. “Oscar Pine and his mom are here. His mom is my doctor and will be here soon.” The three teenagers and Willow nodded.
“The young leader then cleared her throat awkwardly, “We also got another...guest.” With that, Summer motioned her hand and Evergreen appeared in the picture. “The fuck!?” Yang shouted. “How are you…!?” “Language, Yang.” The former STRQ leader said, before sighing. “He made himself a Weapon Spirit, basically.” “You’re a crazy little shit.” Willow said, queuing the former headmaster to nod. “Yes, I know. And I’m sorry for not telling any of you.” He said.
“Why are you in a hospital?” Blake asked suddenly, her voice filled with worry as she noticed her leader’s gown. Weiss’s face also had a worried expression as her eyes widened at the sight of her partner.
Both Yang and Ruby paled. They completely forgot to tell their partners about the young leader’s condition. Judging by Willow’s sighs, the two could assume that Summer had told her...and given by the former STRQ leader’s unamused expression, she was NOT surprised that her daughters forgot in the slightest. Blake assumed that Gambol probably knew as well from Ember. “Right…” Yang started with a regretful sigh. “We....really should’ve explained what happened to Ruby to you two…”
Clearing her throat, the young leader said, “You know that Vampier chick that harmed Pyrrha? Well, she attacked us when we were trying to go to an inn.” Nodding slowly, the heiress asked, “And the kid you mentioned?” “Met him when we first arrived in Mistral.” Ruby explained. “He’s like a little brother.” “I see…” Weiss nodded. “You said that Pyrrha came back, right?” Smiling, the young leader nodded, “Yeah. She came back a couple nights ago and is still in the process of catching up with her team.”
Ruby then lifted her hospital gown to show her abdomen, revealing the bandages for the stitches, “The bullets passed right through, so all I needed was stitches, thankfully.” “Thank gods…” Weiss sighed. Blake nodded in agreement, a sigh of relief emerging from her lips. “Probably not appropriate, but nice abs…” She said, before blushing as Yang and Ruby laughed. “Thank you~.” The young leader grinned. “Weiss agrees.” Willow said, smirking as the group laughed at the heiress’s embarrassed pleas.
It was around that time that Ember and Gambol showed up, with the former saying, “Hey, kid-... Damn, you really did get fucked up…” Ruby nodded, sighing. “How are the wounds holding up, hun?” Gambol asked. The youngest of the group gave a small smile, “Sore, but it’s getting there.” “They’ll be sore for a while.” Blake said. “Just try not to force yourself to your abdominal muscles.” Her leader nodded, “So no carrying stuff or bending down, huh.” “Not alone, at least.” Willow added.
The group then heard the door to the hospital room open, before Anna appeared on the screen. “This is Anna Pine.” Summer smiled. “By the way, Willow. This is who I was talking about regarding my acquaintance.” “This is Weiss, Willow, Gambol, Blake, Ember, and Yang.” Ruby chuckled. Nodding, the doctor gave the group a warm wave, before checking Ruby’s stitches.
“Good to know that the names match the faces.” She smiled. “I do believe the former heiress has a private question, correct?” Willow blushed, before clearing her throat, “Yes.” The doctor nodded, checking Ruby’s heartbeat and breathing as she said, “Gotcha. I’ll call you after your virtual meeting is finished.” The former heiress nodded, “Thank you, Dr. Pine.” “So, have you and your mom made a decision?” Ruby asked.
Weiss sighed. She KNEW this was going to come up sooner or later. “Yes.” Willow said. “Right now...we’ve decided to wait until Jacques has left.” Summer raised an eyebrow, “You’re planning on leaving?” The heiress nodded, “Klein and Mom are getting things prepared. This place...isn’t safe anymore.” The silence following that sentence was deafening...and frightening. Not because anyone had an issue with The Schnees’ decision though.
Rather, it was because of the truth surrounding the events at their manor… Though, given what Willow said about Jacques before, Summer wasn’t too surprised.  “You may want to leave sooner than planned.” Blake said. “If it’s getting that bad, then you might get out of there as soon as you can.” Gambol nodded, “Agreed. You might want to set a destination now, since we’re all here.” “You could meet up with us in Mistral.” Ruby suggested. “Or head to Vale and stay with Dad, Yang, and Ember for now.”
“I was going to suggest coming to see us.” Blake said. “But...I’m not sure if you’ll be welcomed... Some people here are not pleased with your father’s decisions.” Weiss groaned, “Don’t remind me…” She then looked to the side and nodded, “Winter’s here.” Winter appeared on the screen, her hair down as she smirked, “I see you kids are doing well...more or less.” “To some extent, yeah.” Ruby said. “This is my sister: Yang, Blake, Ember, and Gambol. This is my doctor, Anna Pine from Mistral International Clinic.”
Anna looked at Winter with a recognizing nod, only to meet Summer’s stern glance. “Be kind and say hi.” The former STRQ leader said. “I get you hate the Atlesian Military, but be nice to at least SOMEONE from there.” The eldest Schnee sibling winced, “Your mom is kind of scary at times.” “Only when the time calls for it.” Ruby smiled. “Though scary is not the accurate term, I think.” After a few moments, Anna ultimately gave in to Summer’s gaze, before turning to Winter and waving, “Hello, Ms. Schnee.”
“Dr. Pine.” The elder Schnee sister nodded politely. “I...don’t blame you for despising the Atlesian Military.” She didn’t budge from Anna’s stare as she said, “Actually, I empathize with you.” The group shivered as the tension between the two women began rising. “Could we PLEASE focus on what to do when we all regroup in Mistral?” Willow asked, noticing the tension and attempting to prevent an argument from starting. Winter and Anna looked at the former heiress, before sighing and looking down.
“Sorry, Mom…” Winter said. The doctor replied to Willow, “I apologize for my behavior, Mrs. Schnee.” Willow noticed Summer mouthing “Thank you” at her, before nodding with a smile, “Good. Now then, any suggestions?” Gambol sat back, saying, “Well, since Ruby, Summer, and their group are in Mistral and we’re already in Kuo Kuana, you might as well meet up here. This‘ll also give you the opportunity to get to know our parents.”
The former STRQ leader smiled, “How are they doing anyway?” Blake nodded, “Good. They’ll be happy to know that you remember them.” Summer chuckled, “I’m sure your mother will. That woman was like a sister.” “As were you to her.” The faunus teenager said. “She misses your baking.” The tallest woman nodded with a chuckle, “I’m sure she does. I’ll try to bake some cookies for you all when we meet up. And we can try her cooking again as well.” The two faunus nodded, both smiling.
“Looks like we’re gonna have to leave soon.” Gambol said, looking at the time. “I was….really hoping our parents would be able to finally meet some of you… One of you for the second time.” Summer smiled, “We’ll see them when we get to your place.” Willow nodded, “Seconded. Plus, we should leave soon too. Before Jacques finds out.” The group nodded, as Ruby said, “You take care of yourselves now. Alright?” Blake chuckled, “We will. Recover well, okay? Both of you.”
“We will.” Yang smiled. “Let us know if things need to be changed.” She then looked at the Schnees, “Especially you three.” Weiss nodded with a tired smile, “We will. Hopefully, it won’t come to that, but still.” Ember chuckled, “We know. Stay safe.” The former heiress nodded, “We’ll try. You kids do the same.” “Tell your parents Willow and I said hi, Blake.” Summer smiled. The faunus teenager smiled and nodded, “I will. And I’ll let them know that you’re looking forward to seeing them again.”
After Blake, Gambol, Weiss, Winter, and Willow said their goodbyes, the virtual chat room remained open as Ruby asked, “So, you wanted to talk privately, sis?” Her half-sister nodded, sighing. “So…. I’m...thinking about searching for my mother soon…” Yang said. There was silence for a good few moments, before Summer asked, “Have you spoken with your father?” Ember shook her head, “She’s been trying. Tai won’t talk about it though. Yang’s been worried about invading his privacy.”
“Not surprising… I can’t really blame him either.” Qrow sighed. The former STRQ leader combed Ruby’s hair, saying, “I’m proud that you’re taking his feelings into consideration.” “However, I do think you should bring it up with him again.” She explained. “He’s going to have to tell you about her from his point of view sooner or later.” The tanned woman nodded in agreement, “He will. Even though he doesn’t want to.” The younger blonde grunted, “I guess…”
Yang curled up her legs up to her chest, “I just feel like if I do ask him, then he’s going to have an emotional shutdown…” She then turned to her bedroom door as she heard footsteps walking away. She paled, “I think he heard us… And he was doing well too.” Summer groaned as she put her face in her hands, “Fuck…” Qrow sighed as he rubbed his eyes. This was the worst case scenario; having Taiyang find out about what Yang’s plans were...and what she was going to ask him.
“Well, what time is it there?” The former bandit asked. Ember looked at a clock, saying, “It’s getting late, so it’ll have to wait until tomorrow.” Qrow nodded, “Well, you might as well rip off the bandage as soon as possible.” “Otherwise, he’ll not want to talk to you.” He explained. “Tai’s surprisingly stubborn sometimes. You know that.” The tanned woman hummed, “Of course, I know. I was with him for several years, Qrow.” “I also know that his stubbornness, thankfully, has limits.” She explained.
“He’ll talk.” Ember smiled. “And I hope it’ll be mostly civil.”
“We also need to chat about you.” Yang said to her stepmom, Ruby nodding in agreement. The taller woman sighed, “Had a feeling Tai told you about my issues. Yes, I do remember them.” “Sorry, but we were trying to help you...and still are. In case you need it.” Her youngest daughter explained. The blonde teenager nodded, giving a reassuring smile, “All we want is for you to be happy.” “I know. I know.” The sisters’ mom said, before giving a smile. “Trust me though. I’m fine.”
After a few moments of silence, Qrow nodded, “Alright then. But just remember that if you aren’t….” “I know.” Summer nodded. “You all will be there for me.” The former bandit REALLY wished that his former leader wasn’t so stubborn as well. However, unlike Taiyang, Summer WAS more willing to talk about her personal problems...as long as it was a one-on-one or two-on-one conversation. She was less likely to have an emotional breakdown in those scenarios as well.
“You two take care of your dad now. Please.” The former STRQ leader said. The blondes nodded, with Yang giving a small smile, “We will...I hope.” After the siblings, Ember, Summer ,and Qrow said their farewells, the taller woman sighed. “So, does anyone want something to drink.” She asked. “No, Qrow. You’re not getting alcohol.” The younger Branwen twin sighed, “Fine, I’ll have coffee.” “Same.” Ruby nodded in agreement.
Nodding, the taller woman walked out of the room. As she did, Ruby asked, “What was that about?” “Much like Tai, Summer doesn’t do well with speaking about her issues.” Qrow explained. “Though, unlike your dad, she’s willing to talk about it with, at most, two other people.” The young leader nodded, thinking, ‘Ah… So it’s a problem with her being able to explain to multiple people at once. That makes sense.’ “So...one of us should talk to her later…?” She asked.
Her uncle nodded, “That would be wise.” ‘Well, looks like she and I will have another late night talk, huh.‘ Ruby thought. She really hoped THAT would be a civil conversation.
Then again, after knowing what her mother’s behavior would be like from her father, who knew what that would be like at this point?
