Author Note: wooo a fancy piece of writing done, albeit a small one. I'm actually quite proud of how this came out, it's- really quite good in my opinion. oh yeah also- credits to @an-author-and-his-characters for a funky little picture that inspired me to create this :D. with that mini rant out of the way, enjoy!!

Rayan could barely recall the last time he saw sunlight, nor could he remember being in it. he could still, albeit barely, feel the comforting sensation of sun rays basking across his skin, now a mere burning memory of when he actually felt alive.

Yet, here he sat - well, more crouched - in this suffocatingly cramped room he'd deemed as his safe space, the door locked tightly shut and barricaded even further with the nearest objects he could find. For safety reasons, he had told himself. In case he'd somehow escape in the future. If he even had a future at this point. The only source of light was from a miniscule window on the wall, faint blue-grey moonlight barely being able to filter through the glass.

He couldn't recall how long he'd been here. The nearly piercing pain of willing starvation had dulled to a dim ache after a while in his stomach, his throat hoarse and sore and his lips dry from lack of water. His eyes were heavy, yet he told himself he didn't dare rest, or even shut his eyes for that matter. Even he himself did not know why.

"This is for the best", he had told himself. "No-one will be hurt if this happens". "This is for their own good". Those same phrases had been circulating in his mind for as long as he'd been willingly trapped in here. From the now distant day of which he'd first confined himself in the solitary room, to.. now. He assumed nothing had changed in the outside world since he'd isolated himself. He doubted anybody even cared about his sudden disappearance.

"If this happens, nobody will get hurt". That's the phrase that he repeated the most. With him willingly isolating himself, completely devoid of food, water, human contact and communication, everybody would be safe. His past torture and murder victims whom had miraculously survived, wouldn't have to worry about him. His future victims would be safe. His friends, his family, Madison, Carrie, Kade, Zaden, Clyde, Iris, everyone, they'd all be perfectly fine, free from harm.

Another Izzy Hands Bingo 2024 fic finally posted, this one to fill the prompt 'secret admirer!'

Who do you think would win in a battle against two characters? Or a team. Submit characters (either two characters, or any amount split into two teams) and see who would win in a battle to the death. Despite the name (which I may change) ‘spare’ options will be available. Note that all powers a character has may be used in battle. I’ll do some research (look at fan wiki) and list some abilities the character has if relavent for the voters. You can submit OC’s but please tell me what abilities they have (you don’t have to but it helps the voters.) you can also clarify notes such as “x can’t access their powers cause they come from sunlight and it’s night” or “team x has armor but no weapons, team y has weapons but no armor” if you so wish.

Tie (both alive)

Tie (both dead)

Y wins (spares X)

but you can ask to add another or two or three options (up until the limit which I forgor) when submitted. You could also ask to have certain ones removed, EXCEPT you can not make it so one character is unable to win (ex. No ties ✅ literal battle to the death only one can make it ✅ Y can’t win ❌)

submissions are done via askbox. If you want to be tagged in the post do it off anon, if you don’t want to do anon. You can also add extra notes such as ‘x beat y once’ if you think it would be helpful.

Do you have any tips how to handle asks because recently I created a new blogs for fanfic ideas and is kinda new with answering questions?

i may not be the best person to ask this since i do kinda just. Forgor about answering a lot. that being said, if you want to be dedicated…

- inbox check! a post with a brief leit of what you have in the inbox (ex. “question about character x, question about plotpoint y, etc etc). i find it helps me keep track better and also makes me feel more accountable to answer when everybody can see my inbox like that lmao

- dont be afraid to ask for clarification. if youre having a hard time figuring ouy the kind of answer they want, let them know you need more clarity. sometimes asks just sit there because you cant figure out how to answer.

- decide how much you want to elaborate. people love a lot of detail, but that kinda stuff is hard to keep up with in the long term. you dont want to spend sll your energy answering questions. i find a moderate level is okay. i outline the basic answer and then add some surrounding detail to give more context without prattling on too much. unless you ask me about sirius.

- this may sound odd and might be a me thing, but decide what kind of persona you want to put out. i dont like being fully myself on any public platform because im just not comfortable being that opem with strangers, so i only give snippets of my personality. i prefer the silly and goofy bits. figuring out what parts of your personality youre projecting can help with word choice and sentence structure.

- tagging system!! on more streamlined blogs i use ask/(user who sent/anon)/type of ask tags. helps me sort through things and makes it easier to point to an old ask if a question youve answered in the past is sent in.
