Groups you started stanning : help i don't really stan new groups anymore lol. i haven't in a few years tbh. the groups i get insane over have been rotating in my brain for years. but I started listening to CIX, Faries, and QODES (RIP 😔)

New ult biases : my top ults remain the same (Mint, Yugyeom, and Mingun) BUT things do change within groups. like, Kyungsoo edging out Chanyeol. And Yuri with Sunny. I love them in variety shows! and shows that happen to feature idols is like MOST of the idol exposure I get outside of comeback releases. also Changkyun has been threatening Shownu by being hot, but he hasn't won 😤😤 etc. etc. also all of the current Blackswan line up (which had better stay as it is 👀👀)

OMG HIII! YES—i in fact do! meet tala (first image—she’s green) and her sister, ligaya (second image—she’s yellow) my dc ocs!

i talked about tala here but to give a summary: she’s a filipino-american that’s OBSESSED with magical girls that when she gets power from being green lantern (aka has the ability to construct anything from her imagination) she pretends to be a magical girl called “sentinel stars” contrary to popular belief, the stars isn’t (just) a reference to sailor moon, but her name, which means goddess of stars. her mom named her

while she does her best to appear an optimistic person (as a symbol of peace as a “magical girl”), in reality she struggles a lot with loneliness. since her mom’s death, she’s been on her own. her dad is always busy with getting shifts for work whereas her sister, ligaya, pushed her away from their once close bond. anime is her way to fill the lonely void and being a magical girl (hero) lets her pretend to be someone she’s not: a lovable person

for ligaya—her name means happiness. yet, she’s the opposite of happy. emotionally distraught from her mom’s death, she pushed her family away. the best way to put her demeanor is batman—forever haunted by her mom’s death. it’s only by joining cheerleading in high school does she become happier; she found a support system. where she isn’t reminded of her mom’s death. she spends all her time surrounded by ppl while tala is alone

it’s good that ligaya has that support system. because in universes she doesn’t… lets just say she doesn’t end up being the best (in an au, she becomes a yellow lantern, which is fueled by fear. she uses her own fear to fuel herself and control others in her desperation to keep People Safe. they’re green lanterns worst enemies. but ligaya is tala’s sister no matter what universe she is & when she uses her powers to keep her safe despite being opposite sides on the battlefield… she’s only more convinced of that)

ligaya does care for tala though. when she’s injured, she’ll look after her injuries (despite her complaints). she’ll toss things at her face—but they’ll be tala’s favorite manga. and even after everything that happened… when tala is crying, she’ll sing her favorite song and hold her to remind her little sister she’s not alone

right i've gone down the rabbit hole far enough i'm posting x-men meta. so like we all agree charles is the privileged guy with resources who thinks he can fix things from the inside and erik is the guy who knows it doesnt always work that way and they both despise and love each other. but logan is also interesting in the leftist infighting model because to me he is the guy who thinks he doesn't need to get involved. maybe he's the straight-passing queer guy who likes football and served in the military or maybe hes the person of color who has a high-powered job and speaks like he's white or maybe he's the woman who laughs along with the boys club jokes. he's the one who thinks the injustice isn't going to ever touch him in the same way as everyone else because he has the resources to avoid it. if the shit hits the fan for him, he can take care of himself, and all those other people just aren't his problem. and then his life turns into one instance after another of showing him just how wrong he is about that. logan is someone who thinks that the problems he's got are just a fact of life. everyone deals with shit and if they can't hack it that's on them. and then he gets repeatedly zapped with an 'awareness of systemic injustices' ray. he's also a really good example of how getting people onboard and organizing works best when it's personal in some way. logan gets drawn in because people he specifically cares about are put at risk. the conviction that he would fight for anyone comes later. but its that personal connection that draws him in.

Hello to the Buddyfight fandom it's been a hot minute but god do i miss this show and have been making fanart for it in the background so i thought i'd post to tumblr too ^^

I swear every year I end up coming back to this show and wishing that it kept going, that it got rebooted, that i could just erase my memories of this show and just watch it all over again from the beginning to enjoy everything once again from Tasuku's own sense of justice twisting against him to Gao's suffering of PTSD and how heartfelt it was handled.

There's something very special about this show that I haven't been able to find replicated elsewhere. It has the most perfect world to exist (so much so that i'd love to be isekai'd into it if i could!!!) and while i have my own gripes with it (hi S3+) i honestly sometimes wish i could go back to my high school years of watching this show just to relive it all again :'D

Anyways!!! I hope there's still people out there who enjoy this show even ten years later who'll like seeing new funny artwork for it!

I wanna add too that i'm hoping to create a rewrite of FCBF (ft. seasons 1-3 + Ace) or at least create more artwork for my interpretation of it and its world!

Because, sincerely, this show is one of the few that, for all its flaws, hasn't disappointed me in the years that've followed unlike many other things i've seen and i wanna try to keep the spirit of it alive while I can thanks to that. And if there are any fans still in existence who love it, i wanna provide some food while its once again in my orbit because damn do i adore this show <3 <3 <#

to be fair to yamato though, that mission was a mission regardless of naruto's participation, like. even if naruto died or was incapacitated whatever they would still have to go to the bridge to meet kabuto

right now, naruto IS yamato's mission. like, the 9tails is so unstable rn that his whole purpose accompanying naruto on this mission when he is ALSO kinda needed to rebuild Konoha—is that if he steps away and naruto loses control, (without his special dadmagic seal jutsu to help) there will be hell to pay. he kind of can't leave naruto alone rn, because the mokuton is the only thing keeping the fox in check aside from narutos incredibly fragile emotional state

like the castles are treating this like one of those times where you pick up a puppy out of a cardboard box in a kmart parking lot and like, it's a little scrawny and underfed and feral and yeah, it probably would have been smarter to pick one out of the shelter where at least you know they've been checked out and have their shots and everything, but you know, the kids wanted one so bad and it's christmas, and it's cold and the poor thing's probably going to freeze to death in the cardboard box, so you bring it home, and suddenly it's in these new and unfamiliar surroundings and it keeps trying to skitter out the front door every time it opens, so maybe you have to keep it in a back room or tied up for a while and you hand feed it treats until it stops trying to run away and like, you know eventually the puppy's going to warm up to you as long as you treat it right and when that happens you'll have a happy new member of the family that you can probably shove felt reindeer antlers on for the family christmas card
