gladoses design can basicaly be boiled down to blobs and lines, i find it helpfull to divide her chassis into diffrent sections, like this:

we got her "collarbone", "torso", rings, "body", "arms" and wires as seperate peices that can be boiled down and simplified easily here i tried my best

for her "collarbone",, its basically 2 squares set on top of eachother, with the top one being smaller and slightly tilted fowards, where the "neck" connects and stuff

for her "torso", its more of a weird leaf-esque blobby shape below the "collarbone", its curved and has a small bump below it. Not really that big!!!

her rings should be done before the rest of her body as they are a really good basis for putting the rest of her body and arms and wires, but thats just my own opinion. They shoudlent be that far apart from her "collarbone"

dont really have that much to say here other than it fleshes out her more and is also a good basis for where to put her "arms". This is basicallyy details

her "arms" really help sew the drawing together, theyre basicaly just a bunch of wires with cubes around them, w rectangular prisims at each end. They connect the "torso" and "body" together

last but not least her wires/rest of body!!!! They come out on top of the rings and on both of her sides too. Nothing much to say here aside from youve finished your drawing w this !!! Ur glady is now complete

You don't think Rory and Sienna, in addition to Antonia of course, were trying to use Luke for clout in Sorrento and the sharing real time locations? Even Charmaine posted it on her grid.

I do think R was attention seeking on that trip and I think he paid the price. Looking at the trip in retrospect there was alot more going on than met the eye:

#1- Evidence now shows N could have been there or nearby*. L's location in Sorrento was less of a problem if he didn't stay at the villa w/ the Sohoes. Either way, L's exact lodging accomodations weren't revealed.

#2- More concerning for R was his real time boat vids and acting a fool at the fireworks. But we know, post Sorrento, R seemed to be dealing w/ a drinking problem he needed to tackle. R was w/ S for her b-day (6 mos later) indicating they're on good terms now. 🤷🏼‍♀️

#3- Post Sorrento NDAs were debunked. Legal Anon addressed how they can't be retroactive, nor is it practical for every, single friend. The men in the group have known each other since childhood and have proven to be OGs (see #4). Were they all excited to be seen w/ L? Maybe so! But it died down shortly after...

#4- Things have naturally changed in the friend group because *life* changed. L is likely married to N w/ a baby + they're busy doing famous actor things 😉 What's telling to me is how they all seemed to chip in for A's image rehab, to help L out. T & C have helped w/ photoshoots and sm pics w/ her. R was the videographer for A's dance clip and S has posted stories w/ her.

Ultimately, imo, they've all kept a relatively low profile after last summer, and when they reappeared it was to support Luke. The only person who has continued to try to ride his coattails (and N's) is A...

hihi not a creature au ask sorry but do u have any tips to improving art skills? /gen, second question how did u get into digital art?

dont be sorry the asks are for anything really

my biggest tip is pretty boring and has been said a billion times probably but you u fortunately need to do the boring basics. you can go anywhere you want from there and its gonna be much easier. ex. - drawing alot of boring 3d shapes in dofferent types of perspective. boom now you can draw backgrounds. drawing from models in realism  (live ones are better but photos are great too). boom now you have the skill and knowledge on how the human body works and can play around with it to develop ur own art style. greyscale form practice (like shading cubes or drapery or still life). boom u understand how light and shadow works. the hardest thing really (imo) is learning colour. me personally, traditional painting (acrylic, oil, guache, tempera) helped the most (again ALOT of still life). but learning colour theory, or just fucking around with whatever colour medium you like until it looks good is also very helpful. so again basics are really important.

next thing is, use resources. theres so many free  art resources out there and theyre very helpful. my personal fav lately are quickposes and david finch on youtube. use refs, if needed take ur own.

also mindset stuff like being okay with making "bad" drawings. shitty sketches, wierd colour xombinations, wonky perspective. making art is not abt not making mistakes, but abt making them and learning from them cuz if u dont try ull never get it right, even if its bad at first. also always go from overall to detail. make 5 minute sketches, that forces u to focus on form and translatinf the overall idea more than hyperfocusing on detail. and ofc alot of consistent practice. draw every day, whether its a 5 min aketch or something more polished. (im gonna attach some of my oractice sketches so u get the idea of what im talking abt cuz i feel like im not the best at explainin)

as for digital art, i was first drawing on a regular ass samsung tablet with a pen wrapped in tin foil (it makes it work like a stylus fun fact) on ibis paint which is free and honestly it was great. on thing is if ur starting digital get some free simple program cuz if u try to start with something thats "industry standard" its just making ur life harder cuz on top of learning how to draw oj a tablet, you have to learn the software, and u dont need that when u start. i got my actual drawing tablwt after like two years and i was working in krita (also free and really good). now i work in csp and its amazing but theres alot going on and it is pricey (but well  worth it imo) digital is easier in alot of ways but i still recommand learning traditionally

sorry for the shitty photo quality im bad at posting traditional art. but thats what im talking abt these are like 10-15 min each, focusing on form and the overall and not going into much detail

i was watching the founder of diabolism animation with my cousin (for the first time!) today and it just made me extremely emotional about this story once again. i’ve already talked about alot of motifs in mdzs which are close to my heart but one thing the animation reiterates so well is this whole seeming dichotomy between wei wuxian and lan zhan.

now, i have my gripes with the show, as is the case for all adaptations of canon but the way the colours, effects and even the opening lyrics are used to maximise the differences between wwx and lwj is very fascinating. i’m not one to really buy into the “oh they’re not black and white, but they’re grey” when it comes to the wwx-black and lwj-white representation because morally speaking, i don’t find that the “greyness” tracks.

the dichotomy is moreso appealing to me for what the story inevitably delivers: appearances are deceptive, rumours are deceptive, the surface hides the true depth underneath. you go into this animated show with your protagonist surrounded by a clear narrative of some kind of fall from grace, while the deuteragonist is painted in a virtuous light from the get-go. you don’t know how it’s going to happen but the narrative so far wants you to perceive the characters a certain way while still giving you just enough to make you doubt yourself. but here’s the thing: you do doubt yourself but not to the extent that you should. wei wuxian does become some sort of heretic path cultivator, apparently, but you know he’s a nice, chirpy teen and helpful in the future but surely, he embraces the darkness when his hand is forced. and surely, lan zhan only goes against him because his morals and rules demand it. surely, lan zhan’s hand is forced as well.

and while there is some truth to it, you don’t realise that morally, very objectively, and very harshly speaking, the fall from grace doesn’t happen from wei wuxian’s end but lan wangji’s and here the whole white/black, good/evil motifs become completely secondary because who exactly is devolving here? it never was wei wuxian and realising that in it of itself is a major part of mdzs’s storytelling.

i mostly bring this up because my cousin noticed something that i, as a novel reader & cql watcher can’t pick up–that during the punishment scene in cloud recesses, wwx internally muses about how he couldn’t have lwj’s resolve during his silence endurance of punishment and later he tells jc that he won’t try to dabble into demonic cultivation ever again. setting aside the fact that this doesn’t clarify the misnomer and that these are scenes which are slightly altered or completely new when compared to canonical material, it still maintains the essence of the earlier chapters, imo. in that, my cousin remarked that wwx himself says he doesn’t have the resolve and so he might end up practicing demonic cultivation anyway. (i was sorely tempted to reply with a thesis on why that is... wrong but what’s the fun in spoiling this journey for her?)

it’s just masterful how certain story beats paint this dilemma across the two characters, where you would think wwx is likely to have acted in a certain morally questionable way while putting more faith into lan zhan but as the past unfolds and you see beneath the surface of this young guy called wei wuxian, you realise just how much of his inner strength you have glossed over and that lan zhan’s resolve was always rooted in conflict with his rules vs his morals.

and i don’t mean this to be a way of propping wwx above lwj in some arbitrary moral olympics. it’s to simply to show how falsifying paragons and making the audience doubt wei wuxian is fundamental to experiencing mdzs in ANY format. the thoughts you have when you read/watch the first few chapters will have inevitably done a one-eighty after reading/seeing the conclusion. infact, the true black/white, good/evil, wrong/right debates aren’t even centred around wei wuxian and lan zhan but wei wuxian and the cultivation society as a whole.

and if i had to give an analogy for wei wuxian’s moral representation, then it wouldn’t be grey but––and all gay puns aside––it would be a ‘rainbow’ wherein the ‘white’ morality is very much a spectrum and leaves room for more questionable methods to ultimately reach an unequivocally good goal, without defaulting to the ‘grey’ area that is more often than not used as a backhanded way of representing wei wuxian’s moral complexity.

Shiro Headcanons

First and foremost,

Shiro is a WARRIOR. He does not simply LEAVE the battle field. I REFUSE to believe he simply accepted his civilian role.

He HAS to be put back into action. Even if that means commanding voltron or piloting black. Domestic life does NOT suit him.

Look at his Garrison days, he was constantly pushing limits and himself. I refuse to believe he will just STOP. I refuse to believe he just accepts things so easily, especially things he can change.

As much as I love that he wound up with Curtis, I don't think it will last. It was a trauma bond. Curtis is a rando imo. We don't know a lot about Curtis either, which makes this tougher.

Shiro is going to go through immense withdrawals and PTSD. He needs a crap ton of help and support.

Ptsd is trying and breaks relationships. I have seen it. It is not fun. It changes people, it makes them not who they were.

• The others started to follow his routine. While he would spend time practicing, the others would do their own thing.

• He will sit and watch the stars or fiddle in his chair with the data on his computer.

• He likes looking at the star chart in the bridge.

• Sometimes he finds himself in the training room. He will meditate or just sit there quietly. Sometimes he will put on the practice bot.

• Sometimes he will head to the hangar and sit in front of Black or in the cockpit. It's his place to think and unwind.

MORI IS NOT A PEDO. DAZAI IS NOT A WOMANIZER OR 2D. A rant about the BSD universe, characters, and fanfic writers and how people mischaracterize the MCs

SPOILERS FOR THE BOOK NO LONGER HUMAN

Ok so, for those of who don't know in BUNGOSTRAYDOGS ANIME each main character was based off an actual writer and the character's came to be a blend of the universe/anime mixed with the novelist's books. For example, Dazai Osmau wrote the book No Longer Human which explains the tale of a man who had been acting his entire life, struggles with depression, fitting into society and eventually at the end comes out as gay (shoutout to the soukou shippers because this practically confirms the ship is canon). It shows how Dazai is more then a womenizer and comedian whereas in the anime we just take the character at surface level.

I'm a fanfic reader, I enjoy alot of different stories and right now I'm reading StrayBoundIsakai on AO3, amazing fanfic to some extent. I love it and whatnot but they included some notes on NaomiXTanizaki, and like a true fan I've done a bit of reasearch on the books written by the characters (I read crime and punishment+No longer human because those are my favs plus another Dostoyevsky book I can't remember the name of) So y'know it annoyed me to see people claiming that Tanizaki and Naomi are an actual incest couple because they are not. Here's my theory, Tanizaki n Naomi arent real siblings, in the book Naomi by Tanizaki two lovers have to pretend to be siblings to hide from a man who I'm pretty sure forced Naomi into a relationship with him, ill read the book prob tmrw if i got time, and its a common theroy that Naomi in bsd isnt even real, shes a hallucination ofa dead girl made by light snow ability. So one or the other.

We don't have any confirmation as to pretty much any of the BSD characters so we don't know the details between Tanizaki and Naomi as they've been kept secret. BSD is an odd anime because it goes from silly detective to vampire outbreak, to Fyodor is god, but within layers there are so many hidden clues on what the real story is.

Dazai is a tricky one for me because i've read so many theories on him but my favorite is why he abuses Akutagawa. Dazai is abusive to Akutagawa bc if he isnt and praises aku then aku loses his reason to lvie and be better then he alreayd is, akutagawa needs to be told he's a failure, dazais nice to atsushi bc atsushi is already so far broken if he doesn't get praise he'll go insane and suicide or smth similar. Dazai's character and entire personality is within the book no longer human (amazing read would recommend but it will mess you up) people often call him a womanizer but it's him simply trying to fake a personality as to what he deems is the most likeable persona or sterotypical persona. He's not annoying, his entire personality is a facade in which he's just trying to be likeable because he has no clue how he's suppose to act. In the PM/dark era/15 dazai he acted cold and ruthless because that was what was to be expected of him. Dazai has no personality, he's a pathological manipulator, YALL PLEASE READ NO LONGER HUMAN IF YOU ARE A DAZAI FAN.

And then Mori... PEOPLE PLEASE STOP SAYING HE'S A PEDOFILE. I'm going to take context from a reddit thread and the link will be posted because the post I'm quoting omg is amazing helped me so much, "Elise is the character of a short story by Mori, "The Dancing Girl" [a japanese student in Germany falls in love with a 17yo local girl who was poor and danced for a living, they have a complicated relationship until the guy chooses Japanese Moral Integrity over Love and goes back home. The girl realizes she was pregnant and goes mad, the student finds out and has painful regrets because he wanted a child/family and truly loved the girl" "In "The Dancing Girl", in the end the girl was pregnant with the student's child. Could BSD Elise herself be that child? Well, I don't very much believe this actually (imo BSD Mori and Elise don't have a father-daughter kind of relationship, I will elaborate), but anyway it's something that popped up in my mind. 2) I'm sure I read this somewhere, though I can't remember the source rn, that RL Mori himself said that his sexuality is "like that of a child", meaning that he does not really feel sexual attraction but he understands love and affection, and he stated that he loved his wife and children. So, my personal opinion is that Elise could be just that part of him. That's why it's shaped like a child. (+ Little side note idk if it's something worth mentioning but Elise has blue eyes, blonde hair, western outfit... Is she European? Given RL Mori's literary tastes I mentioned at the start, Asagiri might have chosen this specific design on purpose?).  Anyway that brings me to my next point: What is Mori and Elise's relationship in BSD? Like I was saying, Elise is literally a part of Mori, so she is Mori himself, his preferences, the influences he had, etc. He loves and cares for her because he loves and cares for himself. After all, Mori is not shown being "affectionate" towards other kids: there were Q and Kyōka right there but Mori never showed interest in them if not to exploit their abilities. So is BSD Mori a pedo yes or no?? Here we are. I think BSD Mori might be asexual (as for RL Mori, he probably was, but we'll never really know, also who knew about asexuality in 1800-1900s lol). That said, the character is never shown feeling sexual attraction (and reminder that pedophile means sexually attracted to children, y'all say this word so lightly smh). But Mori really says a lot of inappropriate stuff, doesn't he? Fukuzawa was shocked and Elise picks on him. But what if the shtick is that he just doesn't realize that he appears sus to others, exactly because anything he does isn't intended as sexual in his pov? He's a criminal mastermind but he also probably thinks dressing up Elise is like dressing up a doll and saying she's his wife is like playing house."

Reading or watching videos of recaps on the BSD writers made me hate so many fanfics honestly.... I shared all of these thoughts with my friend @kreepyveebs because they wanted to makea Ranpo fanfic and I figured I should also make a post on this.

Either raw (they'll mindlessly eat a tin of them as a snack) or the perfect golden brown (They know the exact place and length of time to roast it to perfection. They practiced ALOT, even before the loops. It was one of their first experiments outside of studying the Interloper)

They will not touch it if it's burnt in anyway and don't understand Gabbro when they purposefully burn theirs. Like??? Gabs... it kills the sweetness! what are you DOING?!

29. If the time loop had never happened, what kind of astronaut would your Hatchling have become?

Well their main goal was to be the first to set foot on the Interloper so you'd think Explorer, but really i think once they were finished there they'd settle on just astronomy.

They'd either spend all their time with Chert (that part is always the same, no matter the time line) or come home and help out Hornfels with ground control and maybe work on writing a book about their findings inside the Interloper.

40. What discovery was the most shocking for your Hatchling and why?

Oh boy. I think it's a three way tie between Poke and Pye/ the true contents inside the Interloper (i even wrote a whole fanfic about their reaction because imo it's one of THE biggest points in their whole character arc), that the sun is dying and not being blown up by the Nomai, and the hugging Nomai floating by the false signal.

Though as i'm writing this i'm not sure they're shocking, but whey were for sure the most devastating to them ...

(and to me the player. The emotions I felt hearing that [ONE] track for the first time... Godd... There's a reason Castaways is my favourite of the whole OST...)

Winter had taken hold of Tuefort in a much bigger grasp than previous years, and surprisingly much earlier too. Frost on nearly every surface, snow up to an average mans waist and moods for everyone in that miserable gravel pit even lower.

Beers, whiskeys and scrumpy were consumed alot more than usual, especially since Smissmas season was coming up. Tavish being the one to consume the most, although usual for any day, these times were practically a world record. Though around these times such amounts were consumed to help soothe and help with concentration.

Stumbling up to the roof, a bag under one arm and a beer case under the other, he wandered up here for some quiet and to do some last minute tinkering on an experimental grenade launcher.

Only after plopping down against the roof entrance's exterior wall, and poppin open a few beers, did Tavish realise he wasnt alone. A few feet away was his teammate, one he was fond of the most, and they were fiddleing with an acoustic guitar.

Strumming for a few seconds and then twisting and twiddling the tuners.

"You up here for a break too, lad?" Tavish called out to them, their head snapping up and their long orange curls flouncing back. Surprised their solitude was broken.

Bo joined him by the wall, setting their instrument to the side and picking up a bottle of his alcohol. Tavish said nothing as they chugged most of it with an unusal quickness.

The season was getting to them too.

He was smart enough to know that...especially since his teammate was a huge whiskey enjoyer and often turned down beer.

Silence flooded the roof again, then broke when Tavish started rewireing his launcher, and Bo had opened another beer.

"Youre a good man, Tav'." Theyd mutter, slamming the bottle down with an uncharacteristic simmering rage. Judgeing by the familiar slur to their words, this wasnt their first bottle of liquor tonight.

"Youre probably the most normal man on this bloody team." Tucking a long strand of hair behind their pierced ear, and wiping their mouth on their arm.

"That is far from the truth, laddie." Tavish whipped his head up, squinting his doubt at them.

Bo sighed, sitting up on their knees and leaning to see what Tavish was doing. After a few silent seconds of watching, they continued.

" I dont belong here." Bo slurred, picking up a third bottle. "i was meant to create. Not destroy." Their voice gruff and lower than usual. "To tell stories, and sing songs of legends."

Tavish put together it was in fact not the seasons weird influence on peoples happiness.

This was a festering mess he wasnt able to deal with, but he was absolutely going to try.

"But oh, oh no. I dont get to."

Tavish got to a stopping point with his project, and set it, carefully, aside. His eye looking up and over to the Irishman who was now towering over him.

"I. Get to kill, the same bloody people. Over, and over, and over."

A pit dropped in the Scotsmans stomach, Bo swayed as they started pacing. Thankfully, not close the roofs edge. "And die. Over, and over and OVER." Tavish watched over their pacing, and bitter quiet ramblings. Nervously he leaned up, bringing his knees to his chest, waiting to dash if they get too close to the roofs edge.

"Its too much." Bo clutched their arms around themself and flopped down onto their knees. "Its all too much."

Tavish stood quickly and rushed to their side, placing a hand on their back as they sobbed into their own hands. Tracing his scared hands along their back in slow, soothing circles.

He had no clue what he was doing, as he usually drank and drank to ease his own sorrows, but he knew that wasnt the solution for everyone, and

offering Bo more beer wasnt going to help whatsoever, so he just let them continue their drunken ramblings.

"I couldve lived. I could be out there, creating. Existing. But no. Im bloody stuck here." The ginger gasped in some air, leaning their head to the side and pressing it against Tavish' shoulder.

"Easy. Easy, there. I think you had a wee bit too to drink much, lassie." He said softly, easing to his feet and carefully helping up the swaying, sobbing ginger.

"Come on, lets get ya rested."

where did you learn your shading skillz? what are you thinking when your shading? how do you choose your colors? how do you know when your done? what other skills should i practice to achieve better shading(example, construction, or perspective...), what skills did you practice that helped you git gud, and do texture brushes help make shading look better? how did you learn to render?

I personally feel like I am very bad at rendering so I don't feel confident in giving advice... I honestly still need to practice this.

When I first started to render my artwork though it really was just a matter of putting more time into it. So something that would usually be idk a 1 hour or 3 hours could take several days instead. (When I first started)

Using a lot of references. If you want more detailed clothing, use reference of detailed clothes. If you want more detailed hair, use reference of more detailed hair. References is what makes rendering possible imo, it is very difficult without references. You give yourself a huge boost using refs, and you can find alot on Pinterest.

Trying to think of what your drawing as a 3D object, and where the light source is- is very important in making realistic lighting that feels skillful and believable. It makes your rendering look alot better to have a good understanding of light.

If your lights and shadows are good it will significantly help the overall picture look good. It is probably one of the most important things to prioritize when rendering.

Edges are very important as well knowing where to make sharp edges and soft edges, and how light transitions around a object. Shadows should be drawn with less detail than the light I think? If shadow has too much detail it can look really strange so its better to do it less detail.

Anyway that is the best advice I can give I am honestly not very good at rendering and don't have a good understanding of it. It is something I really need to practice more.

And you'll hold on to the memories, until they fade away - Espio eventually dying, and Silver being in the future without him- Only having his memories, if he can remember- And he'll do his best to do so.

And we didn't have forever, but we had today - Silver and Espio never having long to see eachother, due to Silver frequently returning to the future. They never have much time together, but the time they did spend meant alot.

And for the price that's awfully nice - The price of the future/present being in danger or harmed when Silver returns to the present to save the future, allowing him to see Espio. It's a heavy price but the silver (;3c) lining of it is that they can see eachother again.

So call it too pragmatic, call it conscience, call it greed

Both of us had nothing, but had everything we need - Neither of them had much, but they had everything they needed. anon is technically right, b/c tom is actually using motion capture CGI, so alot of the movements that spiderman does is actually tom which is why his stunt work is impressive. The frustration is the over use of CGI especially when certain scenes where it is used it is not needed when they can literally be recreated on set. Covid-19 of course plays a factor which why the CGI was overused ( but I disagree with anon they werent implemented all that well, the cgi was noticeable and not good at all and this is more a byproduct of the lack of time that vfx/ cgi teams of implementing it in post production they clearly rushed it to get to the december release date- CGI / VFX is hard work it requires tons of time in post)

Batman and Dune are perfect exmaples of films doing a mixture of practical effects/ sets and CGI and perfectly blended them together.

Also back to the fact while Some spiderman movements are difficult its for this very reason why you have stunt men/ women individuals who can actually recreate some of spidermans movements this is what some of them specialize in. Spiderman outside of swinging around NYC, his movements are within the realm of possibility which is understandable since peter parker is human who also has limitations. His movements still needed to be grounded in some realism.

The complain is just CGI overuse and the way vfx teams writ large particualrly at marvel are not given the time to perfect them.

In terms of the spiderman/ goblin fight. I liked the girttier fight choreography but Im not sure it was executed all that well from a directorial persepctive really weird cuts, out of focused shots, clearly seeing punches not land ( its supposed to give the illusion that they are) but for marvel its certianly one of the better ones imo. Marvel fight scenes tend to lack creativity, I commend nwh for doing something grittier and using that to reflect the emotional state of peter parker.

I think my main issue is just the OVER-use of CGI in films for scenes that could have easily been done on a set or irl. 👀

But maybe for some worlds in the MCU, it's just easier to CGI smthg as opposed to actually trying to build a set. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I have no clue.

I do kinda agree with you though about stuntmen. Tom is able to so a LOT of his own stunts, which, I'm sure is a God-send lol 😆 And I know Greg and his other stunt double guy help out a lot for scenes that are just too dangerous for Tom (the actor) to do himself.

But I do wonder if CGI is putting some stuntmen out of business? HW would rather just CGI smthg and not have to pay a stuntman .... I wonder if there's a little bit of that going on too? 🤔

Kinda like how the studios wanted to AI actors faces and bodies indefinitely and not pay them. 🙄

1. Most overrated character ?

to me in naruto characters are overrated in different ways because most of the ones that you would consider are just becausetheir fanon selves are the most popular. Ignoring that though imo it's rock lee because he basically does nothing in shippunden even counting the kazekage arc and he just gets reduced to comedic relief. Even then he's only known for his potential and his fight with gaara i do like him in part one but i cannot think of anything he's memorable for in part two aside from his reaction to nejis death.

9. Which naruto fandom words are you allergic to ?

Found family, Bootlicker (some of the characters people say arent bootlickers are and vice versa), war criminal, misogyny in cases when it just isnt its just purposeful writing good or bad.

11. Is Itachi a martyr, victim or perpetrator?

I think there's different cases for each. Itachi was a victim of konoha's manipulation from a young age due to his skills along with being an uchiha so expectations of him would always be high. but he isn't a helpless case even if you think he is mentally insane because of what he does to sasuke past the massacre with him implementing idea of hate he into sasuke to grow stronger so he's able to kill him. He was also technically a martyr because he voluntarily dies by sasuke's hands and wanted judgement to be passed onto him by another uchiha for the massacre he committed. But, he's also a perpetrator as he was apart of the killing involved in massacre even if obito did do the majority of the work with itachi only killing his parents. it's still a war crime he was apart of committing because of it being a genocide of the entire clan.

Idk there's reasons for each i personally think he's a mix of all three but the victim part only applies to him in relation to konoha and his childhood.i can't just say one because of how complex itachi is and just placing him in one box undervalues alot about him.

13. Was Kakashi trying his best/ was he a good sensei?

Kakashi was a horrible sensei to all three of his students but i do think he did what he thought he could with what was handed to him at the time, he cared about his students but it just wasn't enough. The reality is that his help was mediocre at best, especially with how he was trying to do better than minato with how his team ended up so he was practically going off of nothing. I just don't think he was projecting as much as people like to insinuate, especially with sasuke. People like to point out the post hospital fight to say he was but i would argue he was just trying to reach sasuke in any way and that just included relating to his situation in a way. It even worked for a period of time before the sound of four appeared solidifying sasuke's decision in stone.

I also don't think kakashi envisions his dead team in team 7 just that some of their actions remind him of them eg narutos passion to become hokage aligning with obito ( especially with how naruto and obito are purposefully meant to mirror eachother).

He was a really bad teacher though he didnt even teach them teamwork he just pointed out how its the basics of being a shinobi and left them to it. Not to mention how the only thing he truly taught anyone in team 7 is chidori to a 12 year old sasuke which is an assassination technique he made. I know he thought sasuke would use it for the greater good and reinvent its purpose/meaning but that just did not work at all 💀
