good morning! still swamped with work but I wanted to share this lovely lady who I bumped into while going out to eat breakfast at 6AM

She stopped me on my tracks while I was in the middle of bringing my food in bcs her round orange eyes were so silly and captivating 🥹 I have 20+ photos of her in my gallery now

why aren't there more mysteries that take place in nursing homes & retirement communities. i want to watch a group of deranged retirees-cum-amateur-detectives combine their powers of:

decades of life experience

boredom-fueled busybody shamelessness

access to the most gossipy next-door-neighbors in existence

"I am too old to be arrested and/or give a shit" attitude

and solve crimes. this should be an enormous subgenre.

#their sidekick/Watson/pet hacker is a 15 year old grandkid who hangs out with gram gram on the weekends #her only power is that she has above average search engine skills and flexible knees #which is completely sufficient to round out the group's skill set #they involve her in heist style operations #on the rare occasion she gets caught housebreaking she explains her grandma locked herself out of the condo and asked for help getting in #then this sweet slightly addled old lady shows up and explains she got the address mixed up #it's so confusing when you're old & all the houses look alike and oh she's so sorry to have caused so much trouble #and meanwhile the teenager is rolling her eyes bc she's aware gram gram was a career criminal & con artist for 50 years #anyway gimme a 80-year-old con artist turned amateur sleuth who loves getting older because people are less suspicious of little old ladies #this all takes place in florida naturally

athena, grabbing the marriage wine and tossing it back, then kissing her new wife and husband and handing penelope a spear as she picks up a mace: we'll be back shortly, you can start celebrations without us.

penelope: do u have anything that can start a fire

athena, pulling out an old contract and scanning it before throwing it over her shoulder: yes. are you scared of heights or can we fly.

penelope: fucking bring it I've waited years for this moment

zeus: where are they going

hermes, picking up the contract: they're going to... Ogygia? Oh fucking shit they're going to fucking kill Calypso- hey, hello, WAIT-

#odysseus disappears midway because athena plants one on him so hard his soul evaporates #(strategic to make him stop from coming after them and also from passion she forgot to hold back for once)#(and also shes maybe possibly in love and cant wait to get vengeance on Calypsos bitch ass who hurt him so much for so long)#penelope has had to deal with calypos afteraffects for literally the rest of their lives. from flashbacks to odysseus inconsolably crying #at her feet for forgiveness some days even though shes always said frim the first moment that it wasnt his fault #the rest of the gods have to chase them down to prevent them from eternally torturing calypso (goddesses cant die <3)#athenas blazing mad and sick with guilt and horror. she couldn't attack before because it would be seen as an attack from olympus #but as a wife! as two wifes! no political implications there no holds barred calypso gets her ass BEAT #but also pls imagine them chasing her and gods chasing them round and round the island while screaming #odysseus wavered like 17 times on whether to ask hermes for a lift there or not but goes in the end #their honeymoon in truth ends up being on ogygia #athena lovingly and seductively teaching penelope how to fillet a person both of them covered in ichor #odysseus with a hand over his mouth blushing grinning tears in eyes torn between turned on and terrified to be back and crying coz they lov #him that much.#((he goes to her just before they leave in the cave she used to drag him to. she can barely hold herself up and hes shaking to approach))#((but he's stronger now. settled and satisfied and content. he kneels by her and sets down bandages next to her.))#((i told you i was married he says. and because his truest weapon is his tongue- if youd just listened i wouldve found us both a way out))#she sobs and he leaves. the scars will never fade fully but he feels lighter as he steps out into the sun where athene and pen are waiting.#bloodsoaked and being shouted at by hera but smiling at him widely and gleefully as he approaches. takes a hand each and presses him btwn.#he squeezes back with a smile and leans into them. his beautiful horrifying wives #odypenath #odypenetha #odysseus #penelope #athena #odypen #odyath #penath #epic the musical #love in paradise

There was so much talk of ‘spider Ophelia’ and ‘spider Gruff’ that I just couldn’t help myself

#high rollers #rollonsunday #altheya #altheyatde #Ophelia d’larosa #Spidersona #Her webs are bright red!! And she has a whip made of webs! And she drinks blood!#First I drew the design in the first image and later googled ‘spider that drinks blood’#And the image that popped up actually has the Ophelia colour scheme??#The spider is called Evarcha culicivora if you want to see! It’s one of those spiders with big round eyes so it’s not that scary maybe!#Ophelia in a spidersona AU probably fights crime and then drinks their blood. Very efficient way to discourage crime I guess?#But that’s also the reason why some people dislike this spider person #What if she turns against the civilian population etc etc #Not sure if there are elves and all that in this version of the spider world #Maybe her skin tone and ears and eyes are just side effects from her transformation? Not sure about that yet #Oh! Her mask only covers half of her face and the mouth is covered by a veil to make it easier to bite people I guess #ophelia d'larosa

Miwabiwis.......

I actually do like her official outfit! I just... had a deep need.... put that girl in a nightgown and slippers RIGHT NOW‼️‼️‼️‼️ Also it is admittedly so much easier to draw 🧍

I did try to keep in line with most of her official look though! Or add more emphasis to little details, like the red berries... other details I added, like the bloomers, keep the roundness of her og dress! BUT ALSO.... they are just so cutes.... I imagine they're made of rose petals...... I was also thinking angelic motifs. With the dress shape, and the smaller wings shaped as such!
