I just want to point out that Hermitcraft season 6 lasted a little over 19 months, and season 9 is currently at 17. In the spirit of Sixfinity I would like to propose the name Nineternity thank you and goodnight

Oh my god I am SO behind on Hermitcraft but I literally JUST got to Zedaphs episode where he discovers the Wither Skull Tango gave him for his collection is a fake, and Zed marches all the way over to Tangos FURIOUS. All “GET YOUR BUTT OUT HERE RIGHT NOW MISTER” and all and Tango comes out like “huh?” To which Zed proceeds to spend the next 5 minutes absolutely SCREAMING at him, FURIOUS that Tango has given him a fake and demanding an authentic skull right that very second. He’s come out with swords blazing, starts destroying the floor of his house and everything, absolutely raging to the point Tango just eventually goes OMG FINE HERE TAKE IT gOD and gives him FIFTY

The IMMEDIATE switch. Zedaph is suddenly all “Omg you’re the best, you’re so kind, this is amazing, life is amazing, I’ve never been so happy, thank you so much” all sunshine and rainbows and Tango is just stood there like WTF WHAT WAS THAT?! You wanna CUDDLE now?! TF?!

And Zeds just like

…actually can we cuddle? Come see this thing I’ve been building and we cuddle??

And just that pause before Tangos like “…actually i would love to cuddle let’s go” and he just drops it completely.

can we talk about Scarland for a second?

can we talk about this man who held onto his dream of creating an amusement park throughout his childhood? who studied the intricacies of it all so he could one day build one?

okay, now let's talk about the attention to detail. the shops filled with merchandise. the turnstiles hooked up to a little jingle. the placement of color and, subsequently, the awareness of where to leave it out. the backdrop of the castle.

but most importantly, let's talk about the gift that minecraft is to passionate creators. could Scar have created something in Scarland's likeness using another game or website? possibly. but would he have found as much joy in it all? would he have had that same enthusiasm throughout the project? would we have found him walking through the road he built rambling about how much he loves the build?

i'm in love with the connection between minecraft and its players. it's a game that lets dreams come to fruition, that welcomes creativity and rewards the children in us that wanted to just see what we could create.

or maybe it's not that deep. but can we talk about Scarland?
