How correct were my predictions for Heartbreak High S2?

SPOILERS for Season One and Two (obviously)

Prediction One: Spider couldn't "get it up" w/ Amerie because he's dealing with internalised homophobia.

According to Spider's Mum, he apparently doesn't have a queer bone in his body, and she's... disappointed by that. Uh. Wow.

Sure, it's not completely out of the question. Perhaps he actually is queer, but pretended not to be as another way to rebel against his Mum besides spouting verbal garbage.

Honestly though, I'm happy to have been wrong about him. Ant and Spider being the token straight guys with the most homoerotic friendship ever is hilarious to me. Plus, if he redeems himself, he could be one of my favourite characters in the show.

In conclusion: me = incorrect!

Prediction Two: Malakai's bisexuality would be explored

Right on the money with this one. I appreciated that he made mistakes and explored it in a messy way. Better for him to be flawed than absolutely perfect! A lot of what I loved about Heartbreak High was the characters' flaws.

Sidenote: It was weird that some characters basically said, "Everyone's queer now, get over it". That's just not true. Plus, there's still a lot of queerphobia out there.

Prediction Three: Ant would be explored more as a character

Incorrect! However, the show did explore Missy, and I grew to really enjoy her as a character. She flew under the radar for me during Season 1, while her confident and fun personality shined brighter in Season 2.

Prediction Four: Ca$h will learn he is asexual

Kinda-sorta correct. Another character said he was ace, but there wasn't much beyond that.

I hope that in S3 (if there is one) he is able to explore it along with the audience. I also hope that he and Darren get into an open relationship of some kind, because holy shit. I love them as a couple, but certain things are not working for them right now.

Sidenote: Holy shit. When I learned what his nickname meant, and the fact he had been called that since childhood...

Prediction Five: There is something weird about the new kid...

Vague, but yep. He was quite the interesting guy.

Prediction Six: Sasha will go one of two ways: she will become less hypocritical and get back together with Quinni, or continue to be very politically shallow and become more of a villain.

Correct. Option two happened to such an extent that I didn't enjoy it. She seemed like an AI-generated caricature of stereotypical "wokeness" rather than an actual human being who exists. Despite that, I'm holding out hope that she'll be a human again in S3.

omg sunny, i just need to come yell at you some more (but know it's affectionate). you had NO RIGHT to make me snort so hard throughout both happy hour pt 1 and 2 😂😂😂 every time tae and jimin rolled the footage, i was just losing my mind. it painted such a clear picture. and the song choices were just all top notch. like had me laughing way way way too hard. i'll be thinking about both of these for a long time.

South of Orion : South of the large star-forming region known as the Orion Nebula, lies bright blue reflection nebula NGC 1999. At the edge of the Orion molecular cloud complex some 1,500 light-years distant, NGC 1999's illumination is provided by the embedded variable star V380 Orionis. The nebula is marked with a dark sideways T-shape at center right in this telescopic vista that spans about two full moons on the sky. Its dark shape was once assumed to be an obscuring dust cloud seen in silhouette. But infrared data suggest the shape is likely a hole blown through the nebula itself by energetic young stars. In fact, this region abounds with energetic young stars producing jets and outflows with luminous shock waves. Cataloged as Herbig-Haro (HH) objects, named for astronomers George Herbig and Guillermo Haro, the shocks have intense reddish hues. HH1 and HH2 are just below and right of NGC 1999. HH222, also known as the Waterfall nebula, looks like a red gash near top right in the frame. To create the shocks stellar jets push through the surrounding material at speeds of hundreds of kilometers per second. via NASA

sorry weird question, are your knight pet drawings traditional or digital please? I thought they were copic but the lineart you posted looks digital? If its is digital PLEASE what brushes are you using? also your art is very cool, have a good day! :)

not a weird question ! ^_^ first I sketch them out digitally, for that I use a brush called 'hh2' that you can find in the clipstudio assets store (free) and i use it at a small size with pen pressure disabled:

then I print them out and use a cheap light table i found online to trace over the digital drawing on mixed media paper with a copic 0.5 multiliner pen and color it with copic markers:

for the colored lineart i usually just use whatever colored pen i have sitting around, but i only apply that after the color is done or else it'll bleed </3 thank you!!

As promised, I've watched the playthroughs for John Doe (and +), and House Hunted 1 and 2.

Somewhat comprehensible happy ramble ahead.

This Uncanny Valley series! It's so intriguing! I love the characters and the generally absurd vibe of the city (that food sounds fun too). It's all so cleverly designed.

Also, in regards to HH2 (which i just watched today), I did not expect to love Heim as much as I do! He's precious and awkward and so strangely lovable. He deserves a platonic cuddle. And young Doe! He's so sweet!

Overall, this series is delightful and creative, and I look forward to seeing more of this world.

(As a side note, b4 HH2, I've also discovered - and am still hyperfixated on - Purple. I highly recommend it. Next on my list is The Phobia Project.)
