I actually fucking love the holiday gnomes. I keep seeing them hated on and?? no love have I seen this year. They’ve weirdly popped up mainstream fairly recently it seems in USA. But honestly as someone connected to their Finnish American heritage whose parents brought them up Like That, going to local Nordic, Scandinavian, Finnish club etc events? my whole life? like 1 yes I have chronic “I liked them before they were cool” about this because my buds that’s Norwegian-American kitsch as far as I’m concerned and 2 they’re nostalgic as fuck so yeah I’m not participating in holiday gnome hate
