Mrs Holligan hätte den Jungs schon Mal ne Million hinterlassen dürfen. Die haben sie immerhin davor bewahrt in den Tod getrieben zu werden. Dann hätte sie immer noch 19 Mios gehabt um die zu spenden. Oder meint ihr die alte Dame hat ihren Glauben an die Menschheit verloren und einfach ihre 20 Mios auf den Kopf gehauen? Dann heißt es nicht mehr Mrs Holligan ist leider verstorben sondern Mrs Holligan hat ein Drogenkartell aufgekauft und sich dann in einer Badewanne voll Koks geschmissen, wo sie erst high wurde und dann in dem Himmel aufstieg. Oder welche Jenseitsfantasie ihr lag.

To become a full fledged member of the Holligan Viking Clan, Hiccup and nine other young boys must find, catch, and train a dragon by the Thor’s Day Thursday Celebration. Hiccup is son to the Hooligan Chief- Stoic the Vast- but the other kids call him Hiccup the Useless. Will he be able to train his dragon?

I’ll sadly admit that I watched all the movies before I even picked up the book. I religiously followed when each movie came out and loved them, so I was so thrilled to have a good reason to read this book for March. It’s fun, it’s adventurous, it’s got humor, and wit!

I love the dragons and how they speak dragonese, I love how the story differs extremely different from the movie. Both are good in their own rights. My favorite character in this book was Thuggory the Meathead because he believed Hiccup was meant to be a hero.

Mir ist noch nie aufgefallen, dass der letzte Satz in Stimmen aus dem Nichts Mrs Holligan ist, die sagt "Scheiße, ich verlier mein Gebiss" und das ist mit Abstand der beste letzte Satz, den ich je gehört habe 😂😂

I want to try something new this year so I created a "stamp" as my signature. I got this idea from Malik Holligan-Lewis on instagram and I dunno I just thought it was a cool idea. I'm not completely sold on the design but I'm thinking I can tweak it later on. So for now this is perfectly fine

In the early 80s, I briefly stayed with Judith Frankland @judithfrankland in London, a fantastic designer who made outfits for Steve Strange and appeared in David Bowie’s “Ashes To Ashes” video alongside Bowie himself with other “Blitz Kids” and fashion luminaries, Steve Strange, Darla Jane Gilroy and Elise Brazier. She told me tales of the Blitz Club and of her days of designing for Steve Strange and using him as her model. The Blitz Club was in Covent Garden, London from 1979 - 80 and was home to the “Blitz Kids” who were nightclubbers there on Tuesday nights. The club was located between two art colleges (St. Martins and Central School). As a result of its proximity to the art colleges, it attracted many students who were aspiring fashion designers there. The hosts were Steve Strange and Rusty Egan @rustyegan of Visage and the club was responsible for launching the New Romantic movement in London. Many notable fashionistas and dandies who later became big stars, were regulars there. A dress code of the “the weird and wonderful” was strictly enforced at the door, a policy that was put in place by Steve Strange. This was not an elitist system like Studio 54 in NYC, but rather for the protection of the nightclubbing guests against homophobic thugs. The hosts had previously done “Roxy Music and David Bowie nights” on Tuesdays at Billy’s club in Soho and later took over at the Blitz wine bar which gained much better success as an iconic club. David Bowie, gender-bending, cutting edge fashion and a desire to express it with rebellious fervor, were the common themes and passions of the Blitz Kids and the New Romantics. Some other noteworthy attendees aside from the aforementioned included Boy George, Marilyn, Siobhan Fahey, Sade, Spandau Ballet, Midge Ure, Philip Sallon, Stephen Linard, Stephen Jones, Princess Julia, Martin Degville, Scarlet Cannon, i-D magazine co-editor Perry Haines, and many others. Cloud Club Members: Ollie is the president and founder of the Cloud Club. A club that meets once a week on good weather days, lay in the grass and look at clouds. Frankly it’s not a big club, but it’s a club that forces you outdoors, which is Ollie’s whole MO. 

Found Family: Ollie hadn’t known what a real family was like until meeting Elsa and Anna. But, they are adoptive. It stands to reason Ollie has a large found family as well.

Pen-Pal: (preferably someone older than Ollie) Ollie started writing to this pen-pal as a class project when they were ten. Fourteen years later, Ollie is still writing back and forth with this person. They know everything that Ollie has gone through. From foster home, to foster home. To being the first person that Ollie came out to. Ollie considers this person their family and a vital part of their life. They just, haven’t quite met yet.
