#the way they both cling to their families while in distress#their families are their most cherished people that they somehow can't reach#Hürrem has literally lost them long ago#while Ibrahim has reunited with them and has placed them close to him due to his own love for them and his position in the castle#but it's precisely that same position that distances him from them and *will* distance him from them even *more* down the line#the reactions here also reveal how Hürrem and Ibrahim view death#Hürrem embraces it because she's lost so much already#they always want to separate her from the family she has and the family she's built in some way#and it's like they succeeded here - it has already happened - she's taken from Süleiman the only other person she could latch onto and from#her child she was going to have from SS that would show that she was actually going to keep on that she can't be separated from her family#*this time* not so easily but it's over it's done it seems so let her go to her mother and father at least let her return to them#let her reunite with them that's all she can have after she's already dead#after she's failed and the evil in the palace has seemingly taken over - in her E01 dream it was *they* who made her push forward#in order to commemorate them in the first place; she doesn't mention her sister tho even though she was there in the dream too#and I think that's because at this point Hürrem searches for protection for *help* and her parental figures can provide that to her#more than anyone else; namely they guided her in her dream mainly her mother so she goes first#it all also goes to show how her latching onto SS is a gradual process as she calls him only later#Ibrahim clings to life as embracing death would indeed mean losing absolutely everything completely#*fully* separating from his family he returned to found and reunited with after he wasn't sure about whether it's even possible#and what's more he has both his past and current family in front of him in the present; he can't let that go he *won't* let that go#so he urges his father and Niko not to leave him as in not to let him give up to help him in the fight he thinks he can still win#but he doesn't mention his mother namely because she isn't there in that picture she's fully gone and already symbolizes#a more distant past that wounds Ibrahim too much and he comes to want to evade as this ep is soon after#his scandal with Hatice; no wonder she appears in E44 and urges him to go home thus to go back as he wants to move on so badly#more subconsciously than even the usual#magnificent century#muhteşem yüzyıl#muhtesem yuzyil#hurrem sultan#ibrahim pasha

Did this before I'd even finished Prodigy season 2 so here is some angsty commitment rock and its tether to a ghostly Chakotay trying to get home.
Digital oil and Janeway asking the universe desperately to send him home to her.

something something down by the river
yeah i could draw something other than two characters gazing at each other with utter heartsick longing but I know what i'm about son
#beware the tags#oh no the vampire spawn is falling in love with the spider princess#also you will never guess where i got inspo from#yeah it was the man from uncle#i will make him look *more* lovesick dont worry. this is gonna rival my martin/hok stuff bc god#i still have not finished his quest bc i know its gonna make me step away from the game for probably 3 days while i recover#ugghhhh i am gonna scream! bc like the fucking headcanons i have about him and my evil little mermaid tav#she's never seen the ocean. bc menzoberanzzan. so when they finally get to the city she's like fuckin. struck by it.#never seen anything so big in her life. so to explain my running along the coast for hours to unfog the map i imagine he's humoring tav#and acting exasperated by her fascination with the water but he secretly thinks is adorable#and she doesn't know how to navigate a city like baldurs gate. bc where are the spires? the stalagmites? where are the stairs?#so he (knowing the city so well) has to basically be her guide/lead her through the whole thing otherwise it would take them 3 years#to find anything.#MEANWHILE she's having a crisis grieving over her recently dead spouse and fleeing her home for failing her 5th trial#and wants revenge on lolth of all things#so they make a little 'revenge pact' to each other but she's being slowly shown signs of eilistraee and having trouble letting go#bc she can never return home. and she misses her baby brother terribly bc he's only 12 and all 6 of her other siblings are not nice#and she's either gonna take the crown to become a god or have a breakdown at night by the water where she decides to move on#they can make each other better they can make each other so much worse

I had to put air in my tires today and had never done that before so I was asking around seeing if any of my coworkers knew a good/cheap gas station to get it from and two separate coworkers (old men) were like do you want me to come with you to the gas station 🥺

Not to be a boring adult but researching home essentials is honestly really fun. I get to learn about different cookware materials and find out which ones best suit my cooking style. I get to compare different mattresses to find out which would be best for my back as a side-sleeper. I get to choose bed sheets that are nice-looking AND keep me warm. I get to watch videos about how to do home repairs and make apartments feel more like homes than hotel rooms. I get to curate my living space as I see fit instead of relying on popular opinion or quick fixes that end up lasting a lifetime.

Laramie fics on ffnet are weird because they are mostly gen (most are so painfully so I need to ask why and then immediately leave )
Some are gen but in a way that captures the show aura so well it circles back to slash which honestly is impressive
And there are so many trying to get the boys in a relationship with a woman and I honestly will admit that one fic did get me where I hoped they would be poly (they did not and Jess got with a random woman)
I will say it has better whump than ao3 especially when it comes to Jess and what happened to his family
Also shoutout to the mort Corey thirst account (I’ve never read them but I believe in your beliefs

sometimes you see a fundraiser and its for executing on a plan that is definitely going to at best worsen a person's situation extensively and at worst it's gonna get them killed because they do not understand the problems they're gonna run into doing that move they want to make.
but what are you going to do about it, message them? they're already convinced it's a bit late for that lol.

What to Look for in a Neighborhood Before You Buy
When searching for your dream home, the neighborhood is just as important as the house itself. The right community can enhance your lifestyle, boost your property value, and provide long-term satisfaction. So, what should you look for before making a move?
1. Location and Accessibility
Consider how close the neighborhood is to your workplace, schools, shopping centers, and other daily necessities. Proximity to highways or public transportation can also make commuting much easier.
2. Safety and Security
Always research crime rates in the area. You can check local police department websites or ask your real estate agent. A safe, secure environment is key for both peace of mind and resale value.
3. School Districts
Even if you don’t have children, being in a good school district adds value to your home. Quality schools are a top priority for many buyers, which can help when it's time to sell.
4. Community Vibe
Walk or drive through the neighborhood at different times of the day. Are people out walking their dogs? Are homes well-maintained? A friendly, well-kept community often indicates pride of ownership and good neighbors.
5. Local Amenities and Growth
Parks, restaurants, fitness centers, and grocery stores all add to the appeal of a neighborhood. Look for areas like The Village that are showing signs of economic growth and development. If you're exploring homes for sale in The Village, Oklahoma, you'll notice a strong sense of community, convenient access to city hotspots, and an attractive suburban lifestyle.
6. Property Values and Future Outlook
Ask your realtor about home appreciation trends and planned developments. Investing in a neighborhood that’s on the rise can be a smart financial move. In places with growing demand, such as homes for sale in The Village, Oklahoma, you may benefit from increased property values over time.
Final Thoughts
Buying a home is more than a transaction—it’s a lifestyle choice. Take the time to evaluate what matters most in a neighborhood so you can make a confident, informed decision for your future.

How to Prepare Furniture for Removalists
Moving to a new home or office is an exciting chapter, but it can also bring its share of stress—especially when it comes to protecting your furniture during the move. Whether you're relocating across Melbourne or just around the corner, proper preparation ensures your furniture stays safe and makes the removal process quicker and smoother.
At Melbourne CBD Removals, we pride ourselves on delivering a seamless, stress-free moving experience. But the success of any move also depends on how well furniture is prepped in advance. To help you get ready, here’s a detailed guide on how to prepare your furniture for our professional removalists.
Tumblr media
1. Take Stock and Make a Plan
Start by creating an inventory of all the furniture you’re moving. Categorise the items by room and note any that are especially fragile, valuable, or awkwardly shaped. This helps both you and your removalists plan accordingly—determining what needs disassembly, extra protection, or special handling.
Tip: Snap photos of your furniture pre-move. It helps you remember how to reassemble certain items and provides proof of condition should you need it.
2. Declutter Before You Pack
Moving is the perfect opportunity to declutter. Ask yourself whether you really need to bring every item with you. Old, broken, or unused furniture can be sold, donated, or recycled. Reducing what you move not only saves space in the truck but also lowers your moving costs.
3. Disassemble Where Possible
Large items like beds, wardrobes, dining tables, and desks should be disassembled to make transport easier and safer. Here are some quick tips:
Remove legs from tables and couches where possible.
Take apart bed frames, storing bolts and screws in a labelled bag taped to the frame.
Dismantle bookshelves or shelving units.
At Melbourne CBD Removals, our team can assist with basic disassembly and reassembly if needed—but having this done in advance will speed up your move day.
4. Clean All Furniture
Dust, dirt, and grime can scratch furniture surfaces during the move. Wipe down all items with a soft cloth before packing. Cleaning furniture before moving also means you won’t be bringing any dirt into your new space.
5. Protect Surfaces with Padding and Wraps
Proper wrapping prevents scratches, dents, and breakage. Use:
Furniture blankets or padded covers for large pieces.
Bubble wrap for delicate surfaces or glass components.
Plastic wrap to secure drawers and doors, keeping them from swinging open during transport.
Cardboard sheets between stacked items for added protection.
Avoid wrapping wooden furniture in plastic for long periods, as this can trap moisture and cause damage.
6. Secure Moving Parts
Furniture with moving parts, such as drawers, doors, or extendable arms, should be secured. Use painter’s tape or plastic wrap to hold these components in place without damaging the finish. For items like filing cabinets, remove contents or secure them tightly so they don't shift during the move.
7. Label Everything Clearly
Even if your furniture looks straightforward, labels can make reassembly much easier. Label disassembled parts (e.g., “Table - Left Leg”) and keep small components like screws or bolts in clearly marked zip-lock bags taped to the corresponding item.
8. Plan for Special Items
Certain pieces—such as antiques, pianos, glass cabinets, or oversized couches—require special handling. Let your removalist know in advance about these items. At Melbourne CBD Removals, we have experience with delicate and high-value pieces and can bring the right tools, equipment, and expertise to handle them safely.
9. Prepare Pathways and Access Points
Clear any obstacles that might hinder the removal process:
Move rugs, mats, or clutter from hallways.
Prop open doors if possible.
Reserve elevators or loading zones in apartment buildings.
Notify your removalist about any tight staircases or difficult access points.
Making these areas accessible helps prevent damage and speeds up the process.
10. Communicate with Your Removalist
Last but not least, keep the lines of communication open. Share your inventory, flag any concerns, and ask about insurance coverage for valuable items. A transparent, collaborative approach makes for a more efficient and secure move.
At Melbourne CBD Removals, we value clear communication, punctuality, and professionalism. Whether you’re moving a single item or a fully furnished house, our experienced team is here to help every step of the way.
Tumblr media
Final Thoughts
Proper furniture preparation is essential for a safe and efficient move. By taking the time to clean, disassemble, wrap, and organise your furniture, you’ll reduce stress on moving day and protect your valuable belongings.
If you're planning your next move, don’t hesitate to reach out to Melbourne CBD Removals. We’re experts in local and interstate removals, and we’re committed to making your moving experience smooth from start to finish.

Smart Buyer’s Guide to Buying Property in Gurgaon
Tumblr media
Buying Property in Gurgaon is one of the most strategic decisions a modern homebuyer or investor can make. Known for its rapid infrastructure development, corporate hubs, and premium lifestyle offerings, Gurgaon has emerged as a hotspot for both end-users and investors. If you’re planning on buying property in Gurgaon, this guide will walk you through the key considerations and smart steps to make your purchase a success.
1. Understand Why Gurgaon is a Hotspot for Real Estate
Gurgaon’s growth story is powered by its proximity to Delhi, excellent road and metro connectivity, and its reputation as a corporate and IT hub. The city offers a diverse range of options—from luxury apartments in Gurgaon to affordable housing in Gurgaon—catering to various buyer profiles. Whether you're looking at flats for sale in Gurgaon or exploring property investment in Gurgaon for long-term gains, the city delivers value.
2. Decide Your Property Type and Budget
Before buying property in Gurgaon, determine your budget and the type of property you're aiming for. Are you looking for a ready-to-move-in apartment, a plot, or something from the new residential projects in Gurgaon? With options ranging from affordable housing in Gurgaon to luxury apartments in Gurgaon, identifying your budget will help you narrow down your choices smartly.
3. Research the Right Location
Buying property in Gurgaon requires understanding of micro-markets like:
Golf Course Road – Known for ultra-luxury properties
Sohna Road – A fast-developing corridor
New Gurgaon (Sectors 82–95) – Ideal for affordable housing in Gurgaon and future growth
Dwarka Expressway – A promising property investment in Gurgaon stretch
Understanding the Gurgaon real estate market helps you make location-based decisions depending on your lifestyle or investment goals.
4. Evaluate Builder Reputation and Project Quality
Before finalizing your decision, always research the developer’s past projects, delivery record, and construction quality. Many new residential projects in Gurgaon offer attractive prices, but not all provide value in terms of amenities, quality, and possession timelines.
5. Legal and Documentation Checks
One of the smartest steps in buying property in Gurgaon is ensuring all legal documentation is in place. Check for:
RERA registration of the project
Clear land titles
Building approvals from local authorities
Sale agreement terms and payment schedule
Hiring a legal expert or property advisor can help safeguard your investment.
6. Know the Future Development Plans
The value of a property increases with upcoming infrastructure and connectivity. Keep an eye on planned metro expansions, expressways, and civic developments. These influence the appreciation potential and long-term value when buying property in Gurgaon.
7. Seek Expert Advice Before You Buy
Navigating the Gurgaon real estate market can be complex. Partner with a trusted real estate advisor who understands the local market trends, upcoming areas, and best-value deals. They can also guide you towards flats for sale in Gurgaon that fit your financial and lifestyle goals.
Final Thoughts
Buying property in Gurgaon is more than just a financial decision—it's a lifestyle upgrade and a long-term investment. Whether you're drawn to affordable housing in Gurgaon or exploring luxury apartments in Gurgaon with top-tier amenities, being informed is your greatest advantage. Use this smart buyer’s guide to make a confident, future-ready choice.

your dilf doesn't need 'perfect' ྀི
“w-wait—” you were panting, legs wrapped around his hips where dilf!nanami straddled you on the countertop. you pull back just as his mouth dragged open-mouthed kisses down your neck.
you don't remember how exactly you ended up there, how things turned from soft touches over dinner to a heavy make out session—tongue sliding between your lips, big hands pressing you against his chest.
it's been months of holding back for both of you—resuming your relation to slow touches, soft kisses, and ‘no pressure sweetheart’ every time things started getting heavy. since you weren't experienced and kind of…scared, dilf!nanami suggested waiting til you're ready. and you've been grateful for it, even when you returned home some night aching and soaked from just making out with him.
and maybe all the courage you gathered to tug him in by his tie tonight and kiss him like you were desperate for it, had drained from your veins the moment you felt one of his hand sliding up your thigh and the other slipping under your shirt—hot, rough, calloused.
“did i go too far?” he asked, one hand still under your shirt, fingers hovering just under the band of your bra, not moving an inch. “it's okay. you don't need to explain. we can stop, sweetheart.” his lips were swollen—covered with spit. his eyes glassy and you could feel the weight of his cock pressing against your shorts.
“no—! no… i want to,” you blurted out too quickly, voice overlapping his, desperate not to be misunderstood. but even as you said it, you couldn't bring yourself to look at him in the eyes, so you turn your head, letting your hands rest on his broad shoulders as you continue,
“it's just…” you exhaled, shame blooming fast in your chest. “i'm not confident about. . y'know.” you gesture vaguely toward your boobs. “they look nice in a bra and—uh…you've probably seen better. i know they look big in a bra, but they don't, well…stay up. they're soft, and…” your voice tightens. “i just…i've read things. about guys saying they were disappointed. or didn't want to even see them during the act, unless they were covered—” you laugh nervously, voice cracking. “it's so embarrassing. i-i didn't want you to see them and think—think they're…ugly.”
the silence that followed felt unbearable.
it only makes your anxiety grow and you feel so dumb for talking about it, maybe you should just have stopped and that's it…because nanami didn't move an inch since your little monologue, his honey eyes still trying to catch your gaze.
your stomach drops. you start to shift trying to get off the counter, anything to escape mortification. “look, i'm sorry,” you say, heart pounding, eyes glassy. “i-i shouldn't have brought it up, i—umh—it's ok. i just thought that'd be nice to tell you before hand and huh…fuck i ruined everything didn't i?”
that's when you feel his hands coming to your hips, pinning you in place on the countertop. you gasp as he presses his cock against your core harder than ever—twitching with need.
when you looked up, his eyes had darkened. his brows were furrowed, jaw tight, emotion bleeding into every sharp line of his face. “that,” he said flatly, “is the stupidest fucking thing i've ever heard.”
your breath hitched.
“i'm not a boy with a warped idea of what women are supposed to look like.” he leaned in, cupping your jaw to be sure your eyes stay locked onto his. “i'm a grown man. you think i'm painfully hard, grinding against you, shaking, because i'm waiting for something ‘perfect’? sweetheart, i'm here, aching because it's you. all of you that i want.”
his voice was low, frayed. barely holding together. “let me very clear, sweetheart, i'm going to lose my mind when i see them, i will drop to my knees and thank the gods for putting someone as sweet as you.”
your lips part, trying to breathe through the whirl of embarrassment and affection and…arousal.
“ken—”
“does this—” he rasped, grabbing your wrist and guiding your trembling fingers down to the thick, pulsing shape of his cock straining in his slacks, “feel like someone who's going to be disappointed?”
you whimpered, your smaller fingers squeezing his boner.
“f-fuck…” he shuddered. “if you want to stop,” he breathed, forehead falling to your shoulder. “i'll stop. if you want to wait, we'll wait. another month. another year. i don't care. anything you want, for you to be comfortable.”
but his voice cracked at the end—like he was hanging by a thread. you felt it too, his body coiled tight, like a beast barely leashed.
“you're too nice, ken.” you say teary-eyed, half laughing, half melting.
“well, k-keep squeezing me like that and i'm afraid i won't be nice any longer.” he groaned, lip brushing your neck.
your thighs wrapped tighter around him. “you can take it off,”
his head snapped up. “you sure?” his gaze held yours as his fingers brushed the hem of your shirt again, and when you nodded, “arms up, sweets,” he said softly, and you obeyed.
when he tosses delicately your shirt to the side, skilled fingers quickly find your bra and unclip it, oh very so slowly.
when your bra hit the floor, everything held still. like the world paused long enough for nanami to lose his mind quietly. his eyes dragged up, heavy-lidded and wrecked. one big hand came up—trembling—cupping your breast with a war raging in his mind : should i worship or ruin them?
“sweets,” he breathed, thumbing over one of your nipple, “they're perfect. so fucking perfect i feel like i'm hallucinating.”

A cry for help from Gaza
My name is Salem, I am 26 years old. I am married to Hadeel, she is 25 years old, and we have two beautiful children: Laila (5 years old) and Bakr (five months old). We live in the northern part of Gaza.
Laila and Bakr are my heartbeat, the light of my life, and my everything.
Tumblr media
The horrific story of the recent war in Gaza
Since the beginning of the last war in Gaza, our home has been completely destroyed, forcing us to be displaced. We had to move more than 10 times to find safety. During this harrowing journey, we faced extreme hunger and malnutrition that almost claimed the lives of me and my children. In addition, we have been exposed to many serious infectious diseases and epidemics.
Before: This is our homeland, our dream, and our promising future.
Tumblr media
Unbearable hardships
Every day I have to travel long distances just to get water, and stand in lines for hours to get food. My children's mental health deteriorated due to the war, their education was interrupted, and they suffered from catastrophic hunger that almost claimed their lives.
After: This is our house, built with our sweat and effort, and it was completely destroyed.
Tumblr media
The right to a peaceful life
My children deserve to live a peaceful life free of fear and anxiety. I dream of your help to support my family and escape this genocide. Your help means the world to me and my children.
The cost of arranging travel for an adult outside Gaza currently varies
Between $5,000 and $7,000, and $2,500 for each child, in addition to a cost of living of $500 per month.
How can you help?
Your donations can be a beacon of hope for us. Every dollar can help save my children's lives and give them a chance to live in peace. Your prayers for us to overcome this ordeal and lift the siege are greatly needed
Laila: My beloved, the closest to my heart, and my little one.
Tumblr media
Bakr: My child who came during this horrific war.
Tumblr media
Donate now and help us get to safety
May God reward you greatly for your generosity.
Background on the Gaza war
The war in Gaza has left hundreds of thousands of victims, destroyed infrastructure, and left many homeless. The humanitarian situation in the region has reached critical levels, with severe shortages of basic necessities such as food, water and health care. Children are the most affected, as they have lost their sense of security, education and normal life.
Your support is our hope
Your donation is the light that can guide us towards a better future. Don't miss the chance to be part of a story that saves a family suffering from unimaginable hardships.
Donate now and make hope possible
Thank you for your support and kindness.
My gratitude
Salem and family
