I've only been playing Forsaken for a little more than a week and I'm this 🤏 close to never playing it without atleast a trusted friend or mutual.

Honestly it's incredible how masterful the hints within the story are regarding Liliana - how she is the darkest version Imogen could become, how she will tell her daughter to run away from the storm and then turn around and lure someone else's son into it. How she, someone who became entangled in the Vanguard while frustrated by a lack of answers and perhaps a desire to belong preys on those same insecurities in others. How she abandoned her daughter and then told her it was for her own good. Imogen just needs to invoke her name and the Vanguard recruits jump. Was there a world where she would have listened to a better persuasion check, or would it have just caught her off guard for a round or two?

Please tell me your thoughts on DreamyLuigi. I've been seeing so many people defending them bc of their art and how cute they sound. Please tell me you're against them, I love you too much for you to be okay with it all. Even MegumiMugi (is that the name?) is defending them.

I didn't want to bring it up on my blog since it caused so much unnecessary controversy and had me unfollowing and blocking a few people... So this will be my only post regarding it to make my stance clear.

In my eyes, incest is never okay. Period. Fictional or not, I do not fw that shit, and I block anyone who condones it in any way. No ifs, ands, or buts.

I do agree with the other side that nobody should harass them either; they aren't willing to change their stance on it so it'd be pointless. But the bigger point is that I will not support someone who is into that. And I do not care if it's only in a side blog on another platform.

Unfortunately I've been rotating this scene from Miles Morales Spider-Man #18 in my mind for like. A month. I don't think I'll ever get used to seeing anyone but Hobie as Prowler but there's something really fun about The Bar With No Name bringing supervillains together.

I also like how in this series Ziglar acknowledges that Mac has more to him than just muscles in a suit of armor. He's a quick thinker and there's a reason why he's been in the game as long as he has.

Now, if only the writing would let Miles be a little more confident... a little more, you know, himself.

honestly re this post I think it's worth also drawing the connection that people who do this with characters also frequently act like criticizing the work overall is automatically bashing and in general wish they lived in a world where you could praise something without opening it up to criticism, and you cannot. There is nothing that can only be praised and not criticized. You can refute the criticism but you cannot claim the mere act of criticism itself is invalid without invalidating praise.
