Rogue had no idea where she was, only that she ended up there after being deemed a threat or an anomaly by some sort of organization, the Time... something...? She only knew she had to find some way to get out of there. The place was desolate, dotted with ruined structures. It was vast, seemingly endless, and she found it more daunting than she'd like to admit.

She couldn't be certain how long she'd been wandering when she ducked into the ruins of some type of structure to rest for a few moments. It took her a moment to realize there was already someone else in the ruined structure. She raises fist, ready to take a swing at them, but when she sees who it is, it gives her pause, her eyes growing wide. "Remy...?"

I'm knitting in the corner at a party

and guys my age stop by to tell me I remind them of their aunt, of their grandmother. This is a compliment and I take it as such. They confess to having tried crochet once, and I smile. They get back in line for the bathroom.

The party has wound down and I'm still knitting and the hosts, two guys in their twenties, thank me for "helping to curate the vibe." I had no idea that's what I was doing. I leave the party having forgotten to drink anything and without that woman's number but with many rows added to my top-down raglan sweater. I call it a night, and a good one.

So. I don't mean to offend anybody but Rachel Zegler is courageous and brave in a way that I'm not sure I would be at 23 years old with my career on the line. She tweeted 'Free Palestine' on her personal account and now she is being blamed/made the scapegoat for why the Snow White movie is not doing as well as Disney predicted.

For context: Gal Gadot (of "let's sing 'Imagine' to healthworkers-fame and 'I'm proud to have served in the 1DF' fame) plays the evil Queen.

Also for context: the producer, Marc Platt, flew across the country to reprimand a 23 year old for making said tweet. He asked her to delete it. She did not. Now Marc's son has taken to social media to "expose" Rachel's selfishness. They strongly believe her tweet is hurting the box office and jobs. The movie is done. There are no more jobs or employment. Producers get a cut from box office earnings. So all they really had to say was, "Rachel's tweet is costing my father and my family money! Take it down!"

Anyways. She didn't. And hasn't.

Good for her. The absolute balls of steel tbh.

Rogue had almost lost track of how long it had been since Remy had left on the mission. It was almost as if the days all blurred together anymore. It wasn't as if she was some lovesick girl waiting around for him to come back, at least, that's what she told herself. She had her own life, of course, but this time, he would be away a particularly long time. She'd never admit that she missed him, not to him or anyone else; if asked, she'd likely use the excuse that things were just particularly boring without him around.

But, when he surprised her by coming home early, it was plain to see there was more to it than that; it was written all over her face. Her expression was one of pure joy, as if she hadn't just spent the last however long he'd been gone moping around. When he outstretched his arms to her, she ran to him with no hesitation, not bothering to even try to appear aloof. A soft huff of laughter escaped her when he picked her up in his arms and twirled her around. It felt like all was right with the world.

A wide smile was fixed firmly on her face, one that would likely remain there for at least the rest of the day. "Remy, but, Ah thought... Ah thought you weren't supposed to be back for at least another few weeks..."
