Okay so update! My family and I are all okay, the only real injury is my siblings ankle got twisted or something while we where getting out and it's swollen to heck but aside from that we all got out pretty okay.

We've got semi-stable living conditions atm, can't really go into detail there but we're okay for right now and the community where we live has been amazing and giving us a lot of support. Thank you to everyone who left kind messages on the last post, I really appreciated it and it meant a lot to me.

I don't have the brain power for dm's at the moment but I'm sending hugs to y'all <3

#slowly trying to get back to normal even though everything is very not normal #my computer and display tablet are fine but my monitor got murdered from the smoke damage #my fiancé is letting me use his monitor for jow since its the only one that didn't die ajsjsbabsba #for everyone who was worried I was checked by paramedics on the day and they said I was okay #and now i'm also getting set up with headspace bc mentally I am static noise #but !! I am optimistic that everything will be okay :'> somehow #for now i'm trying to catch up on the assignments for class and I should be able to get back to working on comms #It'll just make me feel more normal if I can do that so yeah hopefully i'll be able to get back to them asap #ANYWAY !! I am mostly okay and I miss y'all tons and hope everyones keeping well <333 #nadine is typing...

Officially up to December 24th on the incorrect quotes I've written out to be posted. Progress! Only about 3 more months worth left to write out to post! I got past the hard part for my brain to write out (which was apparently August through November) I guess.

#personal #finally got an appt with my psych this morn and FINALLY got her to write a support letter for my disability support pension claim #GOD #only took like 3 emails in the past week and a friend to call them up on my behalf to pester them about it #just submitted my claim #I was told I’d be exempt from my mutual obligations to meet my benchmark work hours while the claim processes #so hopefully means I can catch a whole break instead of the half I’ve been given the past month #I hope this works #I really hope this works #I don’t wanna have to rely financially on my parents when I already rely on them so much for everything else #also health update: currently wearing a 28-day heart monitor and it is so itchyyyyy #I have follow up appts with the cardiology clinic for other tests in the next month #seeing rheumatologist in march #yet to book with audiologist bc the clinic I’d contacted said they don’t offer the services I’m after and referred me to their other clinic #which is on the other side of the city #and I’m trying to find a different clinic that’s closer and offers the services I need #god but for now #I think I’m just gonna fuckin #not think about health and appts for a while #at least for the week #I’ve been invited to work dinner tomorrow and it’s gonna be my first time seeing everyone in like 1.5 months #they’re all around or younger than my age so like #I know they’re not gonna comment negatively about my appearance #but god do I have such anxiety about it #I’m so used to brown parents commenting on weight loss and acne and complexion whenever I’m ill #but that’s a different generation #these colleagues are alright #I just hope I have enough energy to last the night

i feel so relaxed and happy and in love with my life knowing today was a reset day. i did my homework, took ample breaks, prayed, oiled my hair, took a warm shower, shaved, washed my hair, and am about to study some more before bed. when did i miss out on life being so simple and beautiful?

#going to start this week fresh and happy #hopefully sleep at a decent time #i’ve got 3 tests this week - 2 that i missed n need to catch up on #but i’m not going to procrastinate this time #i’m going to allocate my time properly and study and get them done #and next week i’ll do that with my other class #and the week after i’ll do it with the third #i’m going to actually attend class and pay attention and do the homework questions #read books and listen to good music #pray a lot and be grateful for what i have #i’m so thankful for everything #i thought life would never feel like this again #but it’s nice to know that giving up is temporary #life really does and will get better #it might get bad again #but it’ll always get better again #꒰ soon you'll get better. ꒱
