While not the flashiest building at Paradise, the Ski-Tow Power House is still a historic structure that contributes to the park’s National Historic Landmark District. The small wood, A-frame building was built in 1937 by the concessionaire Rainier National Park Company. It has a raised door to allow access when surrounded by deep snow. It housed a motor and drum for a ski tow that pulled skiers up the slopes towards Alta Vista and ran until 1975.

Sort of. Scarlett has seen him, but Rainier mainly attends to her father… Mainly due to the fact that she avoids Castle Voltaire like the plague, at least when it comes to the day-to-day— she prefers to be with Balerion or in some alcove— she’s honestly come across Elizabeth more than she has Rainier.

I didn't expect people to like Ranger Rainier so much 🥺 its been a long time since I felt inspiration and he's really growing on me- plus, living so close to the Olympics and living in the shadow of Mt. Rainier (the whole reason I made this character, since I love that mountain so much) fills me with all sorts of ideas for photoshoots

My Rainier

From my walk yesterday. Time to clear my mind. Health update: Saw a doctor yesterday to discuss my condition and next steps. I see a new oncologist tomorrow as well as do an MRI. One more oncologist to see after tomorrow then the doctors huddle up and present my case to the Cancer Board that meets weekly. Right now things are leaning toward both radiation and chemotherapy. We’ll see how things…
