Aster: Breakfast's nearly ready, Daddy.

Buddy got his scholarship!

Aster: Shoot! ... I hope everyone likes their pancakes well done.

Aster: You don't have to eat them if they're awful.

Hugh: No, it's fine.

Aster: They don't smell fine...

Buddy relaxes after a job well done. He'll have to get to his homework at some point, but not right now.

Daisy: You don't want a pancake, Bud?

Buddy: I'll pass, thanks. No offence, Aster.

Buddy and Aster were so cute when they were little, Daisy thinks. How can they be twelve already?

StrangeSpot, Round Thirty Two: Knowe

Butterflies spawn in the basement kitchen/bar area because it's technically outdoors and it's very pretty.

Hugh is an elder. He and Sara are utterly smitten with each other and always will be. The aforementioned kitchenette lacks a lot of cooking space due to being a stylised hideout, so they live on wine and cheese platters. Fine by them!

Sara gets unintentionally abducted by aliens. She decides to keep the baby because ~science~. She's switching to grape juice for the aforementioned platters, of course.

Hugh finds a job in journalism and Sara in Medicine.

It's Sunday, which ought to mean family dinner, but childbirth disrupts that kind of thing. Sandra and Hugh get a second wind late in the evening and go out to the Roadhouse, which is lively by Sunday Night in Riverblossom Standards. When they get home they find Ida Juana has conked out in their bed, so they go upstairs and use hers.

Aster has an active "go to college" want, which means it's time to deal with her homework, including that old elementary homework she left on her bedroom floor.

Buddy has a college want too, but he also has a want for the Creativity scholarship. He's currently on 7 creativity points, so painting it is.

Hugh and Daisy christened the new hot tub.

Aster: You should get out more and make new friends!

Buddy: No thanks. I see enough people at school. When I'm at home, I just want to chill.

Meanwhile, Buddy and Aster had a quiet evening at home, skilling, mostly.

StrangeSpot, Round Thirty One: Knowe

Poor Dewey - his aspiration is constantly in the red because he hates the howling of his parents. (I've also got a glitch happening with the werewolf overlay for teens - their face doesn't get the fur etc. Let's pretend Dewey's shaving his face or something, lol. Or he's a weaker iteration of a werewolf.) He gets good luck during the day: patting the skunk without getting sprayed!
