Post it or not post it, this was my dilemma with this picture. I've took it almost by mistake, then I saw it on the big screen and I loved it. I've posted it on my second account and on @unsplash and lots of love came out of it. Plus it was featured on @artifactuprising so now I'm taking some courage so here it is: an out of focus picture. I was so lucky to meet the beautiful and incredibly talented @flore_vallery_radot last year. We spent a day together in my studio and it felt like we had known each other for years. Flo made me feel so comfortable chatting and laughing as she worked her magic behind the lense. It’s really an insane talent to be able to capture those intimate gestures and moments. Irealised I take these moments for granted. The little film and stills she shared with me are so beautiful. I’ll be eternally grateful for having met this incredibly generous and talented soul. . . #Repost @flore_vallery_radot with @get_repost ・・・ {STUDIO VISIT} Because you've kindly encouraged me, I'll be doing regular studio visits with a little slideshow (we say diaporama in French, I love that word!) of photos taken on the day of a film shoot. . This is the portraits and studio photos of a woman I admire so so much. Not only she's a talented artist but she makes me feel GOOD when I'm with her. As you can see she has the kindest and most honest smile there is. She has a lovely warm voice and slow, reflective gestures which I can watch, hypnotised, for hours. . Chris @tradethemark is a ceramic artist. She creates vessels and artworks in clay which she paints and etches, with the sgraffito method: scratching the colour off in places, and she glazes the finished piece which turns into a shiny, colourful and happy stoneware you desperately want to brighten up your home. . Every single happy piece encapsulates Chris's smile and her cheerful soul. Every time I walk past my two wall pieces I think of sharing an oozing burrata with her and chatting about art, life and a fruitful future with this incredibly inspiring woman.
