Athena takes one step inside her home and feels all of the stress leave her. She's home, where Iolo's spells are in place, where she's safe, where she can finally breathe.

"Poseidon!" she calls, happiness bubbling inside her. It's been five years since they got married but the fact that she gets to come home and see him every day is still enough to make her giddy. "Poseidon, I'm home!"

Poseidon groans from the living room, and Athena laughs as he calls, "I heard you! Welcome back."

She takes off her armor, clothes changing in a shimmer of magic to sweatpants and a t-shirt, and steps around the corner. Poseidon is laying on the couch, eyes trained on the TV, and she smiles.

"It's good to be back," she murmurs, leaning down to kiss his forehead. He tilts his head back, blue eyes glowing and lips smiling up at her, and she giggled, giving him another kiss. "What have you done today, dearest husband?"

He only grins, grabbing her hand and pulling her into his lap. She lets it happen, curled up against his chest and humming happily as he pets her head. "Nothing much," he says, deep voice rumbling in his chest. "Just annoyed some people."

"Don't tell me you annoyed Nike," she says, tangling their fingers together absently. He nuzzles her hair and she can feel his grin.

"I did," he says, smug as a cat, and Athena laughs as Nike comes stomping out of the hallway, cheeks red with anger.

"Lady Athena! That--that scoundrel!" she shouts, pointing an accusing finger at Poseidon, who only gives her an innocent look.

"Who, me?"

"Yes, you! You just admitted it to Lady Athena!"

"I don't remember doing that."

Iolo shouts from the depths of the house, "Shut up, I'm trying to sleep!"

"Be quiet, owl!" Nike and Poseidon shout immediately, and Athena only smiles softly as her family starts to argue. This is everything she wanted and nothing she thought she would ever get.

This is perfection. She won't let anything happen to this.

If anyone did try something--well. They'll just have to see why she's now ruler of the gods and not her father.

My boomer cousin was saying some shit about how if you dont vote in america, you deserve to be sent to russia to be put to work or something along those lines. I said "ok.... dont you believe the last election was completely stolen though?" He said "are you saying you dont?" I said, "thats not what i said. Im asking you what you think. If you believe it was stolen and all of that was allowed to happen, why should i vote ever again?" and he said something like "well if you dont vote at all then youll really never win!"

Wait what the fuck is the exam question thing

Every year we have a super important university entrance exam for 12th graders. In one of the questions they used the quote of a singer (who openly supports lgbtq+ rights, but this had nothing to do w the question) and asked what he meant with said quote. (The subject was turkish apperently)

Anyways our wonderful numbskull citizens got pissed bc hurrrr durrr this man supports the homosexuals how DARE they use his name in a question and now theres a whole investigation going on because “The beliefs of this man goes against our nation & religion” and i think theyve fired the people who added the question and are POSSIBLY planning on cancelling the question totally.
