mid-leg setlist analysis: the separation of fourths.

16 song set. 4 drum kits. 4 distinct layouts. DUH.

Section 1: The openers. Distinguished by the classic 1/2, a structure I still think could be new stuff, but alas. Effective in establishing the pace of the show, with 3 easily identifiable tunes and a "deep cut" (I use the term loosely this day in age)

Section 2: The new stuff. Put into a really large block, as to maybe not break the rhythm. Broken up by the big ballads, of course, but then followed by heavyweights of the new stuff. (rest in peace Screaming Suicide and Sleepwalk). TFG IS GOOOOOOD.

Section 3: The heavy hitters. This is the part of the set I expect to have a breakdown at. The instrumentals carry the heaviest weight in these setlists, along with NEM, especially to the standard crown. TBA standards sad and roam break these sections up, and the HW stalwart holds the "pyro" song slot for night 2.

Section 4: The home run. Opens with the thrasher. Welcome back from the dead HW. Odd to flipping with Blackened, but oh well. Whiskey and Seek are the respective "ball" songs for the evening, fuel being the night 1 pyro song. One/Sandman is an excellent weekend closer, as it really amplifies the scale of the event, whereas MOP sends everyone home happy on night 1.

All in all, this is an excellent consideration of how to breakdown and sort the set, and really most songs stay contained with their 4 song ranges. There is no precedent of a song being played in one section on one weekend, and in another on the next. All data is the first 3 weekends of the NA M72 23 leg (New Jersey/Montreal/Arlington)

Do you guys ever hang out with other cities?

Manhattan: Of course we do, well most of them…some of them are kinda lame or they’re like really fucking annoying. So we obviously know our cities in New York…like Will (Albany), Stephen (Buffalo), Noemi (Rochester), and I don’t really know Emma (Schenectady) all thag well like she’s ok…? Will, he’s usually nagging us to do like stuff for him and it’s so annoying ugh. I don’t even know what I saw in him. As for Stephen, so fucking annoying, like no one cares he’s the second largest city in the state- sometimes I think he’s part of Canada! Noemi, she’s like nice, don’t really have an issue with her. Outside of New York, if you’re not a major city, we, or I at least I won’t really talk to you.

Manhattan: The other boroughs talk to other cities in the tristate or Pennsylvania like Jersey City, Hartford, or Philly for example. Since I tend to handle some of our international and US domestic business, I do know cities across the country and internationally like Maxime (Montreal, belongs 2 @canadian-streets ), or cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Mexico City, you get the idea. And of course we have cities we don’t talk to like Boston, fucking annoying masshole.

Hi there!

So wayyy back in July I was preparing for monmongary week. However my drawing tablet broke so I couldn't draw so I opted out. During that I began to become more gloomy and glum when I had an idea. I decided to write a song for Étinenne. Later on I wanted to write more songs which made me want to write an album and that lead me here. I've decided to write a musical! I've decided to call it "MONMONGARY the musical - Eyes of three". It focuses on the lives of our three protagonist's lives. This features their past, present, thoughts about the future and their legacy. Also their lives as nations and personal ones.

I just want to say thank you for @allbeendonebefore and @randomoranges for letting me use their characters creatively like this for my personal project! You guy are really amazing!

I would also like to mention that the "COMING SOON!" part is kind of a joke. I am NO WHERE NEAR FINISH-. I've worked on a couple songs and like one or two monologs.

This a really huge project and there's a lot of things that make this very complex and difficult for me. Such as...

• Songs and dialogs being in both french and english (I'm also planning to do at least 2-3 full french songs)

•Historical accuracy

•Multiple characters

•Multiple character arc's

and more!

it's a lot. Plus I'm only one person. Even professional playwriters take 2+ years with teams and multiple resources. I'm just creative kid who draws and can play barely decent on a uke so bear with me.

That being said, this is going to be a huge challenge but I'm pretty excited to working on this!!!

I don't have a set due/finish date on this so... yeah... BUT! I have some stuff down. I just hope some people would be interested cuz if not... I'm going to be some obscure qUirKY loser loner who like hetalia and stuff lol. WELP!
