this was the original design i had for Paul! i wanted to see how i could push the design to be more human. (i also purposely did not use color in the one i posted during the fics posting- i was worried it would give away to much to soon haha)

finally tackled the absolute mountain of laundry in various states of cleanliness around my room. now all of it is sorted and put into its respective zones of "away".
#98% of my room being clean with visible floorspace is just finally handling the laundry#i am ashamed and embarrassed that i always have so much dirty laundry#eventually i'll get back to the point i was at when i was the coach of laundry where i'll have like a week's worth of shit to get done#and not a backlog of several months#eventually#and i will be working on not feeling so much shame about the state of my laundry#i don't *like* that i do it but there's nothing inherently immoral about it like the voice of my mother that shouts in my brain thinks#the put away laundry plus the effort i've been making to Make My Bed before sitting in it has helped me feel more settled in the space#so that's good#when i am not as concerned about blocking the various registers in my room i will be in business#(mattress on the floor only fits in one specific corner right by the intake)#(output register is awkwardly directly in the middle of the opposite side of the room which makes arranging the furniture where i'd like it#an interesting endeavor that i'm not super excited in attempting to orchestrate in the future)#i know where i'd *like* things to go#whether or not that'll actually be feasible is another story#also i think i'm going to have to just go through my clothes with the mindset of actually getting rid of things#i threw out a couple pairs of socks because they were worn so thin i'm not sure mending would have fixed the holes#like that that point i'm making a whole new sock and you know what i could do instead? not do that#i also have a lot of Baggage Items i haven't quite gotten around to divesting myself of#(as in the items of clothing have a lot of emotional baggage tied to them that i may or may not be using to negative effect on myself)#lots of old shit lots of things that don't fit lots of things i don't even like actually#but it was free or nearly so and i've just held onto it because free#only a few things are kept because i like wearing them and the texture is nice#so we'll just. go through some stuff and eventually i'll get to the point that even if *all* of my clothes are dirty and on the floor#it doesn't take up my WHOLE goddamn room#that said this has in fact been a problem my whole life and so i don't imagine it's going to be quick or easy to fix lol

I'm almost finished with this notebook with it's horrible paper, and I just finished the first page of my Big Project
#Oh yeah - it's all coming together#Hgggg I am so sick of this notebook! It's wack as fuck!#It has made editing a Chore for the past eight months >:0 Not fun or meditative At All#Even worse is that the paper feels good to draw on but the cleanup is just! Awful!#I've just been completely ignoring my non-lined homemade notebook because it feels bad to draw on lol#The rest of the doodles for this year - yes that's how far the queue is backlogged rn lol - are still on that paper#But at least I'm like ><this close to being done with it ugh#I've got two blank pages and then like three half-doodled on pages that I'm planning to just knock out#It looks so weird 'cause the pages are all out of order lol - the first page was in March and the last in November#But like the next page after the first is /also/ November lol#Like it's largely in chronological order but it jumps around quite a lot! It was an interesting experiment#I also think it's funny since the first page got some fandom stuff that didn't come back around until now but it Looks chronological lol#I think I'll do it again but with some modifications - if I run out of steam/interest/motivation then I can fill it in however I want#Keeping it on-theme is fun but I find myself pushing ideas when I don't actually have any :P That's no good#It's not Always bad - I like quite a few of my spacefiller ideas! But if anything that just proves that finishing things out to make room-#Well like I said it was fun lol#And! As stated! I finished the first page of my big behind-the-scenes project! >:3c#Man I haven't worked on a comic proper-like in uhhhhh#It's gotta be at least five years lol geez#It's been a weird rhythm to try to fall into lol I'm Way out of practice - but it's nice to see it come together!#Lotta steps to get it into the shape I want - hard to sustain - but slowly and surely I've got this one :)#It'll be good to finally have it Out haha

7, 24, 27!
7. Is there a character or ship you’d love to write for, but haven’t yet?
I honestly can't believe I've gone this long without actually writing anything solid for The Stanley Parable - I have ideas, and headcanons that I think would be really interesting to explore, they've just been relegated to drawings, almost completely! I've have a fix-it fic in mind for Ace Attorney for too long that I'd honestly like to make into a fancase lol, an Adventure Time comic, a Coraline/Camp Camp fic, there's like no Nova/Hikaru in the Magic Knight Rayearth fandom somehow and I'd love to fix that, some original work...
If I had to pick one, it'd probably be Nova and Hikaru, since they're just so sparse. They're also kind of a dead giveaway on the next question lol
24. What are some of your favourite tropes?
Clones/duplicates/souls split into two people are a big big big one for me - YuGiOh was a huge influence on that, Jekyll and Hyde, Kingdom Hearts, Hermitcraft to a lesser extent, MKR as mentioned lol, Vargas of course <3 And most recently In Stars and Time! I'm a huge sucker for This Guy But Twice haha ♪ In a similar vein I also really like possession (demonic, parasite, etc.) - any time there's two individuals hanging out in one body it's interesting to me :) What does personhood look like! What does individuality look like! What does free will look like! Bonus points for partial control of the body ♥ I may have a Stanley Parable and Law Abiding Citizen double feature with that particular trope sketched out in the backlog cough
27. Does anyone you know in real life know you write fanfiction?
Yes! I tend to share That I've written with my family, not necessarily What tho lol. I'll sometimes read snippets out loud if I think it's particularly clever or funny, but I rarely subject them to more than a line or two haha. My mom has read the intro to Inside and Out and yes I'm okay with that lol - she stopped when it was too much for her and I respect that deeply haha

—Explosive Fixation
part two.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
—Synopsis: Bakugou's pride takes a massive hit when he finds himself drawn to someone outside the hero course—the best support course student he’s ever met, and the person who couldn’t care less about him. What starts as begrudging respect (and annoyance) slowly turns into something he can’t ignore. Now, if only his stupid gauntlets would stop breaking long enough for him to figure out how to deal with these frustrating, unfamiliar feelings.
—Pairing: Bakugou Katsuki x AFAB + Support Course!Reader.
—Genre: Slow-burn romance, slice-of-life.
—Tags: Enemies-to-lovers, banter, RBF reader, grumpy x grumpier, miscommunication, one-sided crush, support course expertise, Bakugou struggling with feelings, Bakugou crushing on reader so hard, reader is tired of everyone's shit, reader does not take Bakugou serious AT all.
Tumblr media
Bakugou finding himself crushing on someone from the support course? The very idea would have Bakugou ready to throw himself into an explosion, especially since you're not even in the hero course. How did this happen? You're just a regular student from the support department, not some flashy hero-in-training. Hell, you don’t even try to impress people! Bakugou's Bakugou—so why, out of all the people, is he suddenly caught up in the fact that he likes you like that?
It all started with his gauntlets, which were, as always, broken after another insane training session. This time, however, Hatsume Mei was busy with a massive backlog of orders. So, when he stormed into the support lab to demand a quick fix, Hatsume just waved him off with a nonchalant “go ask them” and pointed to you, buried under a mountain of tools and gear. You were known in the department, even beyond that. People whispered that you were better than Hatsume herself when it came to making support items, which was already wild because Hatsume was a freakin' genius. But here’s the kicker—you didn’t want the attention. You didn’t care for the praise or even the stress of constant requests for new gear. Okay, fine. Maybe you do a little. And when Bakugou, the most demanding, arrogant student in the entire school, barged into your workspace, his booming voice interrupting your flow, you quite literally did not want to put up with his shit. “Get out.” Your voice was cold, indifferent, and to the point. Bakugou had expected, well, anything else—maybe some stammering or apologies and you dropping everything and fixing his gauntlets like he demanded. But this? Definitely not this complete lack of interest. He was fuming. “Do you know who the hell I am?” he growled.
Your eyes barely flicked up from the blueprint you were studying, annoyance clear in your expression. “Yeah. And I don’t care. Get out of my workspace.”
Needless to say, Bakugou had never been kicked out of anywhere before, and the fact that you banned him from ever asking for your help? Or, more correctly, fixing his stuff? That hit harder than any villain could. When he ranted to Kirishima, expecting him to agree with how crazy you were for doing all that, Kirishima was disappointed in him—actually disappointed for screwing up such a basic request. You? You were the best at what you do, and somehow, Bakugou had managed to ruin his only chance at getting you to fix his gauntlets.
Bakugou, in classic Bakugou fashion, decides to fix his gauntlets himself. He sketched up the mechanics of his gauntlets, so how hard could it be? Turns out, really freaking hard. Not only does he botch the repair, but his malfunctioning gauntlets accidentally explode during class, damaging some of his classmates and earning him the wrath of Aizawa and everyone else. He’s pissed—at himself, at his classmates, and mostly at the fact that he can’t get those damn gauntlets fixed without swallowing his pride and asking you.
The next time he sees you, it’s different. He doesn’t storm into your workspace like last time. He’s gritting his teeth, practically seething, but he still manages to blurt out, “Sorry for bein' an asshole. Fix this… please.” It sounds like the word “please” burns his tongue, but he says it.
You stare at him for a moment, and give him a sharp scoff but take his gauntlets. As you examined them, you muttered curses under your breath about “egotistical hero course jerks” and “time-wasting nonsense.” But, despite your annoyance, you went above and beyond. You reinforced his original design, making it stronger, lighter, and more streamlined for better control. When you handed them back, they didn’t look any different on the outside, but Bakugou could feel the difference the moment he tried them on. They were perfect.
For once, he didn’t have anything to complain about.
That’s when the “crush” began creeping in—though he’d rather die than admit it. Suddenly, he found himself making excuses to come back. His gauntlets were “damaged” again because he never knew just when to stop training. His headphones were “broken” (even though they weren’t). His phone “shattered” for no reason. Every stupid thing he could think of, he brought to you, just to have another interaction.
But the funniest part? You never gave him the satisfaction of a reaction. Your resting bitch face (legendary, by the way) stayed neutral, and your voice remained flat, devoid of excitement. You rolled your eyes, cursed under your breath, and muttered sarcastic comments as you fixed whatever Bakugou brought you. If anyone pissed you off, especially Bakugou, you'd mutter high-pitched imitations of their voice while glaring out of the corner of your eye, making him feel oddly uncertain—like he was the one out of place for once.
He hated it. You were smart. You matched his freakish drive to perfect your craft. And worst of all—you looked too good. Even after explosions from Hatsume’s latest disaster left you covered in soot, your tired, messy look didn’t detract from how attractive you were. It pissed him off.
But here’s the thing—he was still a dick. Despite the fact that he’d come back over and over, pretending his gauntlets needed another fix or inventing some nonsense reason to see you, he would never admit to liking you and, so, he’d go out of his way to piss you off just because, well, he can. So, hell no. He was not falling for some support course student who barely gave him the time of day.
...Right?
That’s what Bakugou kept telling himself, anyway, even as he found himself lingering a bit too long in the lab, watching you work with laser focus, unaware of the chaos happening in his head.

Tumblr media
Reader’s POV
Having a few days off should’ve felt like a blessing.
Instead, it felt like a weight.
Between schoolwork piling up, backlogged edits for the team’s social account, and my grandma not answering my calls as often, I’d been walking around in a fog.
My brain refused to stay in one place—constantly ricocheting between upcoming deadlines, what filters to use for a video I was halfway through editing, and the gnawing ache in my chest every time I thought about home.
Paige noticed.
Of course, she did.
She noticed when I picked at my eggs and toast two mornings in a row. When I zoned out mid-conversation. When I kept my AirPods in but wasn’t actually listening to anything. She noticed when my sighs were a little too heavy, and my responses a little too short.
And Paige?
She doesn’t do nothing when she notices something’s wrong.
It started with KK poking her head into Paige’s dorm room after being let in my Jana, “You pack yet?”
I looked up from my laptop, brow furrowed. “Packed for what?”
She shrugged with fake innocence. “For the flight.”
I blinked. “What flight?”
That’s when Paige walked in, holding a perfectly packed duffle bag—my duffle bag.
“Your flight to Georgia,” she said, way too casual, like this wasn’t the most unexpected thing I’d heard all week.
I just stared. “…Huh? Wait when did you get my keys to my dorm?”
She walked over, setting the bag down beside me with that soft little smirk she only ever uses when she’s trying to fix me.
“I grabbed them when you were braiding Jana’s hair. Plus, I know you’ve been worried about your grandma. All while dealing with school and filming basketball. So… you’re going home.”
My throat tightened. “But—”
“Don’t worry about me,” she said quickly, clearly anticipating my protest. “I’ve got a ton of NIL stuff this weekend anyway. You being home will actually help me focus.”
I opened my mouth, then closed it, then opened it again, completely caught off guard.
“But—”
“That’s why I’m going with you,” KK cut in, tossing her backpack onto the couch like this had always been the plan.
I turned toward her. “Wait, what?”
Paige nodded. “She’s your official travel buddy. I didn’t want you flying solo.”
KK grinned. “Could be worse, right?”
I blinked again. “When did y’all even plan this?”
“Don’t worry about it,” Paige said, grinning.
My heart was doing somersaults, and I didn’t know if it was from the nerves or the fact that I was so overwhelmingly grateful I didn’t know what to do with it.
“I can’t believe you did this.”
Paige leaned down, brushing her thumb along my jaw with that look she saves just for me. “Believe it.”
I didn’t say anything. I just stood and threw my arms around her.
She hugged me back instantly, arms warm and familiar and safe.
KK, of course, couldn’t let the moment pass.
“Damn. Y’all about to whisper sweet nothings or should I step outside?”
“Shut up, KK.”
The next morning, Paige insisted on driving us to the airport, her hand resting on my thigh the entire ride like she needed to keep me grounded.
At the curb, she helped unload our bags and handed me a little travel bag filled with snacks, gum, and a mini Polaroid picture of the two of us.
It was from the last home game—me with the camera, her with the win, both of us laughing.
“Text me when you land,” she said, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
“I will,” I whispered, heart thudding. “Thank you.”
She leaned in for a kiss—brief but lingering—on my lips, pulling away slowly like she wasn’t quite ready to let go. Then she turned to KK with a pointed look and a raised brow. “You have one job. Protect her peace.”
KK mock-saluted, already falling into the role. “On it, cap’n. Scout’s honor.”
Inside, we barely made it through pre-flight check-in before a group of girls—teenagers, maybe high schoolers—recognized us.
One nudged her friend so hard it nearly knocked her over, eyes wide with recognition.
“That’s them,” she whispered loudly. “From TikTok and UConn. That’s KK… and Paige’s photographer girlfriend!”
I blinked, mid-yawn.
“Y’all mind if we get a quick pic?” another girl asked shyly, clutching her phone like it was a backstage pass. “You guys are like… actual soft sister goals. My little sister watches all your edits.”
KK grinned, already throwing an arm around me. “Come on, y’all. Let’s make it quick before TSA thinks we’re hosting a meet and greet.”
Two of the girls were clearly younger—maybe ten or eleven—and wore matching braids and sparkly backpacks.
One of them looked up at me and whispered, “I wanna be a photographer like you one day. I follow the WBB page and your videos are so cool.”
I felt my heart melt right there.
“Aww,” I said, crouching down to their height for the photo. “You should! The world always needs more girl creators.”
We snapped a few selfies, signed a couple of phone cases and one beat-up Polaroid camera, then waved goodbye as they squealed and practically skipped off toward security.
As KK and I made our way to our gate, she elbowed me lightly. “Look at you. Inspiring the next generation.”
I chuckled. “You’re just mad none of them asked for your autograph first.”
“They did eventually,” KK huffed. “Don’t play me.”
Once we boarded, I slid into the window seat and immediately pulled out my laptop. I had a film assignment due by midnight, plus an edit for the WBB account I needed to queue for the weekend—something light, a ‘best of practice mic’d up moments’ reel.
To my surprise, I found my groove fast.
The white noise of the plane, paired with KK’s occasional commentary on the safety demonstration, made the perfect background.
By the time we hit cruising altitude, I had finalized my assignment and was syncing clips for the Huskies post.
Midway through the flight-thanks to airplane Wi-Fi, I checked my phone and saw we were already tagged in a couple posts—a TikTok from one of the girls and a carousel of photos captioned “Met the coolest duo before our trip!! Thanks KK & Y/N!!”
I smiled, heart warm. I reposted it to my story with the caption: Our lil airport crew. Thanks for the love! and dropped a purple heart emoji for good measure.
KK leaned over and peeked at my phone. “Oh, you’re famous-famous now. Paige better watch her back.”
“She’s got nothing to worry about,” I said with a soft laugh, before looking out the window, heart full from the most unexpected start to this trip.
By the time the plane touched down in Atlanta, I had submitted my project and uploaded a new highlight reel captioned: The Huskies got that dog in them.
KK approved.
KK and I landed in Atlanta just as the sun dipped behind the skyline, bathing the airport in soft, orange light.
The moment we stepped off the plane, that familiar Southern warmth wrapped around us—humid, sticky, but oddly comforting.
It smelled like honeysuckle and jet fuel.
Home.
As we walked toward baggage claim, I spotted her—my mom, standing there in her usual outfit: jeans, a patterned blouse, and her church sandals, like she’d come straight from choir rehearsal.
Her arms were already open.
I didn’t even hesitate. I dropped my duffle and ran right into her hug, burying my face into her shoulder as if I hadn’t needed that hug for weeks.
“Oh baby,” she breathed, holding me so tight I thought she might never let go.
When she pulled back, her eyes went straight to my hand. Her brows raised.
“Oh. Is that what I think it is?”
I knew exactly where she was going. I sighed, already rolling my eyes.
“Ma, don’t—”
She grinned, reaching for my hand. “A promise ring, huh? Paige really got you wrapped around her little basketball finger.”
KK snorted behind me. “She’s down bad, ma’am.”
I turned around to glare at her. “Why are you talking?”
Mom cackled and opened her arms to KK, pulling her in like she was one of her own. “It’s good to see you, baby.”
“You too,” KK said, grinning. “Thanks for letting me crash the family reunion.”
“As long as you eat what I cook, you’re always welcome.”
Honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.
The next morning, we walked to my grandma’s house—just next door to my childhood home.
She insisted on keeping her independence, but living next door meant we could check on her without her feeling like we were hovering.
She was already outside, sitting on her wraparound porch, her Bible open on her lap and a blanket draped over her legs. Sunlight filtered through the old trees above, dappling her rocking chair and giving her that soft glow that only grandmas seem to have.
When she spotted me, her whole face lit up.
“Well, look who finally decided to visit.”
I practically leapt up the steps and into her arms. “I missed you, Grandma.”
She hugged me back with all her strength. “Missed you too, baby girl.”
We sat together for a while—just catching up, laughing about nothing, talking about the weather like it was breaking news.
She waved off my questions about her health, but I noticed the small tremor in her hand, the little pause before she stood.
It wasn’t urgent. But it was enough.
Enough to make me grateful Paige pushed me to come home.
KK gave us space, posted up on the couch inside with whatever rerun of Living Single was on, but eventually wandered out with her phone in hand.
“Yo,” she called, stepping out onto the porch. “Paige wants to FaceTime.”
I raised a brow. “Already?”
KK grinned. “She’s down bad, bro.”
I sighed like I wasn’t already reaching for the phone. “Gimme that.”
The moment Paige’s face popped up, I felt my whole chest warm.
“Hey, babe,” she said, her voice low and soft. “You doing okay?”
“Yeah,” I said, smiling. “Just catching up with Grandma.”
“She hanging in there?”
Before I could answer, Grandma cut in with a smirk.
“She’s fine. Wearing that ring like it’s a badge of honor, though.”
Paige laughed. “As she should.”
KK chimed in. “She’s been showing it off to everybody, even the cashier at Waffle House.”
I groaned. “Y’all are so dramatic.”
“You love it,” Paige teased.
And… yeah. I did.
After leaving Grandma’s house, my mom decided we needed to make a grocery run before dinner.
Which somehow turned into me and KK pushing a half-broken cart through the store while she added random snacks I hadn’t eaten since high school.
“Why do we need three different types of Oreos?” I asked, eyeing her suspiciously.
“In case of emergencies,” she said seriously.
My mom walked ahead of us, flipping through her list on her phone, while KK and I bickered in the snack aisle.
As I turned into the next aisle to grab elbow macaroni, my phone buzzed. Paige.
I picked up immediately, holding it up for a quick view of the cereal section.
“You miss me that bad?” I teased.
Paige’s face popped onto the screen, looking too pretty for someone doing brand work. “Just wanted to see your face. What aisle are you in?”
“Pasta. KK’s being a menace.”
“I’m boosting morale,” KK called.
My mom peeked over my shoulder. “Is that Paige? Hi, baby!”
“Hi, Ma,” Paige said, smiling. “Y’all cooking tonight?”
“Mac and cheese. Real mac and cheese,” she added, giving me a pointed look.
“Don’t start, Ma,” I groaned.
Paige smirked. “Bet KK’s gonna fight you for the first spoon.”
I narrowed my eyes. “She better not.”
Spoiler: she absolutely did.
Later that evening, the smell of baked mac and cheese hit us like a wave the second we stepped into Grandma’s kitchen. Golden crust, bubbling cheese, crispy edges—heaven.
“Back away from the oven,” I warned KK as we hovered nearby.
“I just wanna look, jeez.”
The second Mom pulled it out and set it on the counter, we both lunged.
“Back up,” she said, holding the spoon like a sword. “Y’all can’t both be first.”
So naturally, we settled it the only way mature young adults do.
“Rock, paper, scissors,” I said, cracking my knuckles.
“Best two out of three,” KK shot back.
We squared up. Tension thick. Stakes high.
I threw rock.
She threw paper.
Twice.
“NOOOO,” I groaned, collapsing in defeat as she gleefully dipped into the gooey center.
“One bite!” she crowed, dancing around the kitchen. “That’s all I needed!”
Dinner was loud and warm, just like the best ones always are. We ate on Grandma’s porch under the glow of the porch light, bowls full, laughter louder.
She leaned back, content. “This right here? This is everything.”
And I couldn’t have agreed more.
The next morning, I brought my personal camera with me, determined to document the little moments with Grandma.
She was in good spirits, so we spent the whole morning talking on the porch before wandering out to the fields behind the house.
I took pictures of the old oak tree, of her hands resting gently in her lap, of the way the sun hit her skin just right.
Shortly after I saw the flowers she and I planted the last time I was here-home and I decided to take pictures in and of the fields.
Knowing they would be a distant memory one day.
KK’s POV
Granny was already on the porch when I got there, wrapped in her favorite quilt with two mugs on the table beside her like she knew I was coming. She didn’t even look up when she said, “Come sit.”
I shuffled into the rocking chair next to her and took the mug without asking what was in it. Didn’t matter. If Granny made it, it was good.
“Mornin’, Granny,” I said, stifling a yawn.
“Mornin’, baby,” she said, warm as ever. “Now, y’all can’t be wrestling over mac and cheese like that no more.”
I chuckled, leaning back. “She started it.”
Granny smiled, shaking her head, but there was something quieter behind it.
A knowing softness.
We rocked for a moment in silence before she spoke again.
“She’s been lighter lately,” she said, not looking at me.
I nodded. “Yeah.”
“That girl loves hard,” she continued. “But she holds a lot in. You keep her grounded, KK.”
I blinked, a little taken aback. “Me?”
“She talks about you like the little sister she never got to have. You keep her laughing. You keep her steady. Don’t let the spotlight swallow her, you hear?”
I swallowed, throat tightening. “Yes, ma’am,”
Granny finally turned toward me, her eyes sharp and warm all at once. “And don’t let nobody dim your light either, Ms. Girlypop—or however you say it.”
I huffed a small laugh. “Yes, Granny.”
She reached over and patted my knee. “Y’all are good for each other. All kinds of love in the world—don’t gotta be romantic to be real.”
I didn’t say anything else. Just sat there, rocking gently, holding onto the warmth of her words like they were gold.
Y/N’s POV
I came back to the porch and found KK and Grandma mid-laugh.
I lifted my camera and took a quick shot of them before sitting between them on the swing.
My favorite two girlies.
KK threw an arm around me. “Group pic.”
I set the timer, on kk’s phone and it balanced on the porch rail.
With a rock behind it of course.
Later that day, KK posted the photo on Instagram.
my home away from home. 🏠💜
And somehow, those few words said everything I’d been feeling but hadn’t yet found the space to say.

Where do I begin? She seems to have every hobby under the sun!- When I initally met her she said she mainly did architecture but had long gaps of having nothing to do so she'd try something new after she’d get work done… Baking, Knitting, Cooking, Painting, Pickling, Sculpting, Woodworking, Manicures— If it had something to do with making things she’d probably have tried it or planned to!
Then she moved here out of a shoddy apartment (I… Again, The cites sounds bad from like… The two people who talked about to me.) her horizons expanded and uh I think last week she showed me a LITERAL SWORD she forged in Garnold and Clukr’s backyard (They have a bunch of metalworking things above ground to deal with the smoke.) Also that thing was SHARP and TERRIFYING and she… She used it to butter bread…She’s really nice, I know she wouldn’t use that thing for anything nefarious but I think the buttering took me out and I started laughing- And then I snorted and it was embarrassing!!- But um my own silly sword story aside…
She usually has snacks for people and runs a bar in her basement on weekends (She got into brewing and winemaking like… I think a few years ago?) Mostly because she made too much one time and her boyfriend Oren has a really low alcohol tolerance and generally doesn’t like the smell but tried it anyways (He was apparently like absolutely conked out afterwards.) And she also really enjoys hanging out with the others here- So if you’re old enough you could go to the bar on the weekends! (I’m not an alcohol kind of person myself… But I know she’d definitely have non-alcoholic stuff too. Also don’t accidentally go in the cheese room. I smelled like cheese for like- The rest of the night and the day after.)
Oren Citrine-Poncirus
Age: 26
Gender: Male He/him
Height: 4’8
Color: Orange
Tumblr media
Oren’s pretty chill- Most of the time he’s either around his girlfriend Pinki or with his stepbrother Simon (But he tends to usually just hang around anyone if he can’t find those two, He says he hates being alone for too long. ) He always has his headphones on for noise sensitivity issues and sometimes you do need to be in front of him and wave to get his attention- Though most of the time he can hear others.
I’ve seen him skateboard down the walkways and do some pretty impressive tricks! (I at least think they’re impressive because… I can’t skateboard for the life of me-) He also plays a bunch of video games and streams them online! (I think this is why he occasionally calls people “Chat”). Most of the games he plays have cute little guys hopping from platform to platform- But he says he has like… A whole backlog he should get through at some point.
Uh anyways he’s usually up to do anything as long as he can hang out! He’s seen me sort through a whole room of papers and occasionally helped out though I do understand the whole confusion with how I sort things (It’s… An icon and color system I used way back in my old home- It makes perfect sense to me but uh anyways-)
“Raddy” Conrad Rancor
Age: 25
Gender: Male, He/him
Height: 5’7
Color: Red
Tumblr media
Raddy is… Well… He’s not the friendliest person- In fact he kind of wants to be left alone most of the time, Working out in his own house. Usually he’d just ignore people but on the occasion he’d just walk up and hang around if he feels like it. He can be quite blunt but very honest! I’d say if you had thick skin, don’t mind alot of swearing and needed an objective opinion on something I’d say go to him! (Though again don’t bother him too much… He needs his space, Actually don’t touch him either he REALLY hates that. Clocked someone over the head over it-)
Like Tunner he’s also from the desert- Actually arrived alongside him! As far as I understand he didn’t have… The best upbringing (Maybe the worst kind if I’m being honest…Though he seems to not mind talking about it but its pretty brutal- Glad Tunner and his friends got him out of that.) He still has a hard time reading (But he can do it now- And we’re all really proud of him!! I’d tell him but he hates sappy moments-) Also has a tendency to like... Hunt small animals and eat them despite us having perfectly fine food that he enjoys but he- He still does that. Said he hunted the spiders in his house to clean it. It worked but uhhh-
Tunner Jessie Hyde
Age: 56
Gender: Male, He/him
Height: 5’2
Color: Tan
Tumblr media
Our town’s sheriff! He’s a pretty jolly guy! Very willing to show new people around town and tell you about his desert adventures (… It can get kind of graphic at times- From what I know the desert isn’t the safest… or sanest place. Kind of a surprise he turned out so nice despite… Well You’ll probably hear it from him). And he has a honse named Cornbread he’d be willing to let people ride and pet (Cornbread’s adorable by the way!- A very good girl! She will try to eat your fur if its green enough through-)
I will warn you he gives like- The most devastating back slaps like… He doesn’t mean to hurt people with it- I think he forgets how strong he is. But he knows!- Don’t worry we told him! He says he’ll be more careful. He also doesn’t like loud pops or anything that sounds like gunshots it makes him panic- So please don’t set off anything like that in his vicinity. He usually patrols the town in the morning and afternoon and then winds down during the evening. Though we do know he has difficulty sleeping and sometimes sleeps standing up with eyes wide open. (Its kind of terrifying- You really can't tell he's sleeping until you walk up and see how unfocused his gaze is... Though he usually wakes up as soon as he hears something.)

JUNE MICROFIC - YOU CAN HAVE MY ISOLATION
@steddiemicrofic | PROMPT: stuff | WORD COUNT: 483 | Rated: E | CW: Steve having a wild parasocial relationship with a voice. Steve Harrington is a needy needy boy. Master Kink…I guess?
This one got wild. I—
Minors, get the fuck out of here.
——
Should Steve feel shame for getting off this way? Probably. Did he? Absolutely not.
He hadn’t meant to get so…attached. When he had first found the recordings, he just wasn’t finding any porn worth watching, and when he had come across MasterEM’s profile, boasting a quite impressive backlog of audio clips he figured he would give it a try—and now?
Now he was ass up on his bed, dildo stuffed in his hole begging for this perfect fucking voice to fuck him silly.
‘God, you’re such a fucking slut for me aren’t you baby boy?’ MasterEM is growling through Steve’s ear buds. ‘You take my cock like you were made for it.’
“Please! Fuck me, fuck me, fuck me.” Steve pleads.
Steve is a sweaty whimpering mess, he pushes back on the toy he’s fucking himself with, moaning like the whore that he is for this man.
This fucking voice.
Steve would do just about anything to find the man that it belongs to. He would let this guy tear him to pieces.
He had tried to actually go out and get laid, but nobody really does it for him anymore. Not like Master does.
‘God, you look so pretty when I stuff you so full, precious. Who do you belong to baby?’ The voice purrs out and Steve mewls as his toy hits his prostate.
“You master!” He cries, doing his best to hit that spot over and over again, “I belong to you.”
MasterEM pants into his ear. God, this isn’t the first time Steve has wished this man was real. Fucking into him, owning him.
‘Fuck yeah you do, baby boy. Touch your pretty cock for me. I want you to come all over yourself when I come in this tight little ass.’
Steve shivers at the deep strong voice. He keeps the toy moving with one hand, groaning as he strips his cock with the other.
‘You’re such a perfect little slut for me, aren’t you?’
“Yes yes yes!” Steve whimpers as his cock jumps in his hand. He’s so fucking close.
‘Who are you such a dirty fucking slut for?’ MasterEM questions through his headphones and Steve cries out.
“You! You Master, I’m such a fucking slut for you—it’s only you.” He feels delirous as tears prick at his eyes. No one gets him off the way this guys voice does.
MasterEM laughs over the audio clip and his voice drops quiet, a rumbling whisper. Steve swears he can feel it in his soul. ‘Be a good boy and come for me, baby. Come for your Master.’ MasterEM bite, and Steve does, seeing fucking stars as he spills all over his sheets.
“Jesus fucking Christ.” Steve huffs, his body shaking as he comes down. He is panting and trying to process how it all came to this one man. This anonymous fucking voice.
‘Thats my good fucking boy.’

I think i remember a doodle thing you drew where Starscream was shouting "do you want to be hated?" at megs and i can't find it for the life of me 😭
hey! this ask actually sent me on a bit of a journey—I could not remember the post you’re talking about at all, which doesn’t usually happen with stuff I’ve made! It felt very familiar, but I could not recall anything else about it.
At first I thought you might be thinking of this scene from Terror of the Skies—
Tumblr media
—where merc Starscream berates Megatron for sparing her. It’s close, but the wording clearly isn’t correct, and I didn’t feel like the context was quite right.
So, I thought it might be from another short comic, Black Hole—
Tumblr media
—which seemed like a sure fire hit, given the entire story of the comic—but even then, Starscream never said those exact words in this comic. I felt like whatever it was had to be closer.
While I was scrolling through my backlogs, though, I remembered a really specific project that I never ended up completing. It was extremely unfinished and i was pretty sure I’d never posted it anywhere outside of Twitter, but it stuck out in my mind. So I went to find it, and sure enough:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I did write that, but apparently, it was Elita and Megatron!
There’s still a good chance this isn’t exactly what you’re thinking of, but it is the closest thing I could think of or find. I stopped working on this WIP so long ago that I know the second panel was supposed to have words, but i completely forget what they were. I won’t spoil what I remember about the context, but you can make your own inferences if you’d like.
Sorry for the long thread, your ask genuinely intrigued me! especially since it’s still possible that there’s another post somewhere even further back that I’m forgetting that fits the bill. I guess I’m just flattered that someone else is interested enough in my stuff that they’d remember something like this!

BBC North interview from December 1999 - transcription below the cut.
Having left Bretton for literally about four or five years, we came back together with a sketch show that we did for a mutual friend to fill in a gap at this Christmas season of plays that was called 'I Wish I'd Seen That' and it was plays from the Fringe that year that were being put on again as a kind of, you know, revamping of all these quite successful plays that had been on the Fringe.
Tumblr media
And there was a gap in this lineup, and our friend said, 'Why don't you put on some of these sketches that you've always had, and characters that you've written and stuff?'
Because we had all this backlog. Never, ever performed it, but had it just because we were all writing and acting our own little things.
And so, as a kind of cheat - as if to say it had been on in the year - we put it on at the end of '95, Christmas '95. And that was the start of the League of Gentlemen. It wasn't called that then, it was called, we just called the show 'This Is It.'
Tumblr media
And we did this hour of sketches, and it went down really well, we were really pleased with it, and we thought, let's do it in Edinburgh - because that was the next big thing, Edinburgh Festival - for us and for the League, and we left '96, we didn't go to Edinburgh... Oh no, we did! We were there in '96, and we took a show to Edinburgh, and that was an hour of the best material. Because what we did, we booked this theatre in Maida Vale in London and we booked every Monday night for about eight weeks. And we wrote and changed a quarter of the material that we were performing every week for all those weeks. And then by the end of that run we had what we thought was like an hour of really good stuff.
Tumblr media
We picked it and made that our hour of 'best of' sketches for Edinburgh. And we took that to Edinburgh and we did really well. It was exactly like everyone expected and tells you Edinburgh is. I'd never been before, so it was very exciting for me. But it was, you know, we went with nothing, we did our own publicity. We put posters up and did all that.
Tumblr media
And the first few previews we had, we had three people. It was like the two of the technical people that were doing the lights and Jeremy, our other fourth member, who was watching and doing- and so it was like no audience.
Then we got a brilliant review in the Scotsman, and it was like they say, it happens, from then on we literally sold out. It was only 80 seats - it was in the Attic in the Pleasance - but it was still amazing, probably the most exciting time, really, even looking back now, we've had such bigger, prestigious awards since then.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The year after that we won the Perrier, and that was amazing and then our TV series has now won the Golden Rose of Montreux. That's such a huge international award. But it never really has beaten the excitement of when it was just starting out and running for those papers and reading the reviews when it was first happening.
Tumblr media
And it was like, 'People actually like it! Not just our friends.'
Because that's all we'd ever done it to in London. It was always like goodwill from people turning up and just watching the same show week after week.

This is the last of my fnaf backlog stuff for now. I'd need to scour some older sketchbooks for more. Although I've been messing with colors, so that might be something I could share.
So I wanted to try my hand at redesigning some fnaf characters. I just didn't like how hideous they were for something that should be designed to be endearing to kids.
Details under the read more to avoid clutter.
My mom saw me draw Ballora once(not knowing it's fnaf), and asked me to draw more for her. So these are a couple of the ones she requested. I'm not sure why she was so fixated on multiple ballerina pictures. Anyway, I didn't like how...scantily clad... Ballora looked. So I gave her a more family friendly outfit.
I don't quite like the lore surrounding Ennard, so I just gave him his own design, rather than be an amalgamation of other animatronics. Molten Freddy/the Blob/Tangle can fill that role without Ennard. I've been workshopping an idea where each member of the Afton family has an animatronic that is meant to replace them in some twisted fantasy William concocted, via some type of soul stealing/remnant/haunting situation. Ennard is basically hunting for Mike specifically.
The puppet was a hard one to pin down. I liked multiple different design option. Until I just went with multiple. There's the Marionette, the Mannequin, and Poppet. All variations of the puppet. They gave me pierrot clown vibes, due to the black/white color scheme.
Ballora has four minireenas, each themed after an emotion. Joy, Gloom, Fury, and Awe. I figured it would give them more personality than they have in-game.
I've changed Circus Baby's name to Circee, because I don't like her canon name. She also seemed underdressed, so I gave her a more harlequin inspired look. I repurposed Balloon Boy, DD, and JJ to be her bidy babs for the sake of streamlining. It's a more efficient use of resources. I figured it was only fair that they all got actual names too.
Trying to keep marketing in mind, I figured it would make sense for BB to be "the boy", DD to be "the girl", and didn't want JJ to upset that balance and left JJ ambiguous. Not necessarily even nonbinary. Just whatever gender any individual deems fit. Poppet is actually the same way. They're just robots. FazEnt isn't committing to anything.

hello! i’m planning to make a video essay on the problems with ENsekai. i obviously have some bigger ones already, (typos, translations, etc) but i was wondering if you or anyone else in the community had some ideas of smaller bugs/problems within the game that i could touch on!
hi, sorry this response is a bit late, hope it's still okay
Here's some stuff I can think of:
There's been multiple instances of area conversations being fucked up, either them implementing straight up untranslated content which happened quite recently with a niigo Len area conversation, or just leaving it blank altogether which happened with a conversation unlocked from the current event. usually this happens with niigo for some reason.
the ads straight up don't work on some devices. i had to get a new phone recently and they work fine on it now but my old one literally couldn't handle them. it broke the UI entirely and force crashed if i tried to watch two in a row.
For some reason they sometimes do the reruns late or early. It's not really much of an issue (aside from when they reran Evillious like 3 months early), it's just a weird oddity. Like the spojoy rerun should've started a week ago and it still isn't here
The May mystery song. Got pushed back to June, pretty sure they put a tweet out about the delay but it's gone now if it did exist. Didn't release in June either with no word on it. July stream didn't even happen so god knows what's going on with it now
They keep having bugs that aren't present on JP. Falsely banning players, that thing the other day where it locked challenge lives. There's a lot more if you go through the backlog of issues.
Also they had to delay Awake Now due to "technical difficulties" when BFBY ran on EN. Not sure what those issues were.
Inconsistent song names
Using the wiki as a reference/for placeholder translations. I think they might've stopped it as of this event? But still it went on for 4 months lmao.
Okay the next ones aren't really to do with the game, moreso, the management
They were ridiculously behind on 4komas until like. Yesterday. This might be linked to staff layoffs, I know some of their social team got cut. Also just after that happened they opened applications for discord mod volunteers. Lol.
The absolutely disastrous contests. Mainly the halloween one.
For starters the halloween fanart contest was only open to players in america, canada and britain, despite being for the "global server', but also: they gave third place and promoted the account of someone who creates nsfw of the IP. Funnily enough, this was not against the rules. But, it's still a questionable decision, like this person was openly an nsfw account, and they're giving them promotion on the official twitter for an all ages game. Oh well, what can you do, they were fully within their rights on both sides.
Also p sure the cosplay contest is the only one to date that's actually been open for worldwide entries. South America keeps getting excluded.
Remember when the twitter mod made fun of the game's translations? Actually embarrassing tbh.

i'm not gonna do a big year in review post like i did last year because on a strictly numerical level (a) i probably technically failed most of my resolutions and (b) i don't actually have the data because one of the ones i definitely failed was logging my habits to keep up, which i stopped doing in september when work got crazy and never picked back up. still ultimately i feel good about how things went down, generally. i didn't quite make this the year i got back into reading but i read more than i had the year before for sure, and i saw a lot of movies, most of them interesting or enjoyable, and some other art, too (the jenny holzer installation at the guggenheim, the ibsen play starring jeremy strong). i definitely listened to way more music. i got so good at hydrating by the end of the year that now i feel off if i drink less than 100 ounces a day lmao. i don't think i hit a 50% workout rate but i had a june that took working out off the map for several weeks and then when i tried to get back into it at the level i'd been doing before it sucked and i needed way more rest days for a long ass time; lesson learned for the future, and right now i feel like i have a good routine going. steps was kind of a similar story but this fall was pretty successful (having a zillion clients all over the goddamn city was helpful in that regard). i do want to be more proactive about it on a day to day basis because i do think it might help me sleep to hit that 10k or so (and i think it helps with soreness too, preventatively and amelioratively, which spellcheck says is not a word but should be!!) but i'm feeling more and more like flexibility is the name of the game in some things so while i will be tracking them daily/weekly/monthly this year, i will ultimately consider it a win if i get to december 31 with 3,650,000 behind me.
i fell off on logging and journaling, and never really got a handle on doing mobility work or meditating, but i finished the year feeling like while on the one hand it was nice to know i had enough structures in place to make it through my busy season a little on edge but never really losing my mind, i also felt like ignoring these things completely for a while ultimately as i look back drew my attention to why i wanted to make space for them in the first place; the morning routine stuff is where i get it together enough to check in on my life, process some stuff, and make adjustments as necessary; doing some kind of mobility stuff, even if it's just hitting the foam roller at bedtime, is just physically necessary if i want to keep working out the way i have been working out and i have to stop acting like i can have one without the other.
i decided for 2024 i didn't need to set a guideline around internet use the way i had in 2023, just an intention to be mindful, and, um, well that was a huge failure but an instructive one; again, lesson learned (and it's actually crazy how much even a guided 5 meditation in the morning alters my basic instincts for the rest of the day about when i want to Scroll). i didn't floss........ i should floss.
i did okay with doing Life Tasks semi-regularly and the attitude of "20 minutes Task Time per day" was helpful in some ways but didn't address the Giant Ever Growing Backlog Of Tasks I Have Been Putting Off For Months To Years, which suggests a need for a new approach; this year i'm gonna try a tip i read somewhere to plan out your tasks on a weekly basis, including scheduling them, not just throwing them on a "weekly to-do list," and aim for 5 a week. i gave up on 20 minutes of digital tidying per day and i think the answer there is just to not set a minimum above the minimum, so to speak. if i delete 5 emails or unsubscribe from 1 thing that counts.
i don't know how i wound up doing with my goal to have One Human Connection Per Day (At Least Half The Days Of The Year) but i had a lot of fun this year and i am finishing it feeling in many ways still awkward and neurotic but more connected and secure than i was a year ago, and feeling almost overwhelmed with how true it feels to say "my life is full of doing fun stuff with people i like" after all the years i spent convinced this was completely impossible for me to achieve. this year i don't think i'm going to slot this into my daily habits, partly because sometimes multiple things happen on one day or i text someone to initiate plans-making on the same day someone texts me, partly because the advice i saw about doing stuff also recommend task-batching and i think there may be some utility to that here as well, and partly because well i do have a schedule that is incredibly variable by week and season and this past fall for example i'm not sure i could have handled much more in september/october than free store + one fun thing a week which is more or less how it shook out for a while there. i also don't think i'm going to set a number because, well, i feel good about it right now. i do want to set a non-quantifiable intention to keep getting a little braver about forging new connections or deepening ones that are shallow but seem promising (serial killer way to say "making friends" sorry i am still in some ways quite Insane about this topic, the prime locus of my insanity for many years), and within that specifically to keep getting better at going to local stuff even when none of my closest local friends are going to be there as my security blanket lol. this year early on i finally texted someone i knew from pantry biz with whom i had exchanged mutual "we should hang out sometime" sentiments and it turns out that they're one of those people where once someone else makes the first move they welcome you in a lot so that the "hey, wanna catch a movie or something?" text i sent while deep breathing (because i am Insane) wound up leading pretty directly to a bunch of other incredibly fun 2024 memories, which is like almost irritatingly on the nose as a life lesson but otherwise very nice. relatedly (to texting that stresses me out because of my Problems) i want to get better at texting people back in a timely fashion and also at being more impulsive in a positive way about sending texts when people are on my mind.
the two things i feel real regret over this year are the reading thing and also writing... not a great year for writing, although i can at least look back on i would say three newsletters i'm proud of and one fic i was very glad to complete. i also did... okay... at contributing at the singles jukebox now that We're So Back on a monthly schedule. but i wrote basically nothing other than the occasional blurb after sometime in may and that feels bad and also suggests i need to find some way to integrate writing more reliably into my routine. i don't want to set a word count goal because part of what's going on is that i have some projects i'm picking away at that are more demanding of planning & brainstorming & slower more considered writing than my usual (beloved!) genres of Blogging and Fanfiction but i do think it needs to be quantifiable because ummm otherwise i simply will Not. so i am thinking this is a daily goal too. same goes for reading and in that case i do think i can set an outcome goal, which is 50 books.
ok well i guess this wound up being a year in review post anyway lmao. whatever it's capricorn season it's my time to shine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! neatened up resolutions post for my own ease of reference incoming shortly
