like, it's really fun how fontaine starts spiralling out the closer jack gets to him in the final arc of the game and returns to appropriating the image of family (the fake family in the beginning, the flawed father position later) to try and appeal to jack in some way but it's like. buddy. baby. you already took off your mask. anything you try and put on after this is going to come across as cheap and desperate. the magic is gone! and personally? I'm hooting and hollering

Like Tucker summoning a literal storm & getting lightning charged, or Sam fully emerging from the caves, or Valerie unearthing herself and the team realizing the entire dungeon-city was On Her Back.

Started playing In Stars and Time and I am having so many Thoughts about Siffrin and his past (read more for potential spoilers)

Out of everyone, they're the one whose background I know the least about, not even their home town! Everyone else mentioned theirs multiple times, what they were doing before the adventure and what they plan to do afterwards, but not Siffrin (in fact, he says that he 'didn't have anything better to do than join the adventure' and every reply to what he would like to do in the future is nothing more than what he think would make his friends laugh, not what he truly desires)

And the fact that Siffrin didn't even consider telling anyone about the time loops, was way too happy that only they died, happy to carry the burden to make his friends smile, and their moments of extreme self depreciation makes me think they're way too self sacrificial

And also! His aversion to touch! Something he was completely unaware of but his friends knew and respected. It took like, 4 loops of Isabeau's almost touch for him to finally notice and comment on it. Despite him traveling with his friends for months! (And him being oblivious to Isa's feelings?!?! I think?!?!) Idk I'm just thinking a lot what this could mean??

With their memory problems it makes me think it might be a trauma response? but I'm so curious to know what's up!! (Also, the irony of them being stuck in a time loop despite the fact that they have the worst memory is sksbjsbsi)

I'm not sure where I'm going with this, I'm sure when I continue the game all answers will be shown. But at the moment I just can't help but think about what could possibly have happened in Siffrin's past!

so i finished watching a no commentary playthrough of TWEWY a couple days ago. 10/10 story and characters, i literally loved it. favorite character ended up being neku (shocker its almost like hes been my pfps on literally everything for weeks now) but joshua and beat are close second and third. shiki is a lot of fun too :3c. ryhme ;w;. oh my gal ever you did not deserve that i literally screamed. why do they always have to take the autistic coded characters away from me dawg its not fair. ik she makes it out in the end (somehow im still kinda confused but idk probably joshua shit) but still. AND THE REVEAL IT WAS A REVERSE OF HOW THEY DIED,, HOLY FUCK ;w;

currently watching one of NEO: TWEWY so no spoilers. current fav character is Fret he's so fucking stupid. not a think rattling around up there. i could shake him around and just hear a marble or two maybe. if im lucky.

I was tagged last week (when I didn't have anything yet) by @khywren, but now I've got some silliness to share from Part 3: The Threequel!

Astarion sniffed. “Just because some of us aren’t getting laid, doesn’t mean all of us should suffer the same fate.” You hid your face in the laundry you were holding and groaned loudly.  “Watch it, Fangs,” Karlach warned. Shadowheart took you by the shoulders and turned you towards the lakeshore. “Go,” she said, a bit of a bite to the word.  “Yes ma’am,” you sighed and started making your way to the waters gently lapping the sand by Withers.  “You too, Astarion,” you heard Shadowheart behind you.  “I’m going,” Astarion spat. His footsteps caught up with yours.  You dropped the blankets by the waterline and grabbed the bucket and soap that you kept nearby for laundry duty, one of your commonly assigned chores. Astarion’s pile of blankets joined your own, then his arms came around your waist from behind, and his chin came to rest on your shoulder. “Sorry, love,” he murmured, kissing your cheek.  “At least we’re not dead,” you leaned into his caress.  “You are so incredibly out in the open it’s unbelievable,” Shadowheart called from a few yards away.  “GIVE US A MOMENT,” Astarion snapped back in her direction. He turned to look at you, his frustration turning into fondness. “I’ll see you soon.” He kissed the crown of your head just as Lae’zel began to complain.  “Let’s go, vampire. Before someone else steals what is rightfully ours.” “I’m not anyone’s!” you complained to the sky above you. “Is it truly so hard to believe that she actually likes me?” Astarion asked as he made his way to his tent to prepare for the hunt. “You are handsome but weak,” Lae’zel informed. “Far from the optimal pleasure partner.” “I could make you eat those words,” Astarion teased. “You would not last a single minute with me,” Lae’zel said and then returned to her own tent to prepare.

OOOHHHH!!! Will Shadowheart actually kill Astarion and Reader?? Will Gale be able to cook enough for everyone?? WHAT DOES WITHERS THINK ABOUT ALL THIS?!

These questions and more will be answered when Part 3 of Beauty and the Bard hits my blog later this month/early next month!

Playing COM for the first time. Really interesting! They keep bringing up the message of "be honest about your feelings, tell people you care".

They keep bringing it up, and dialogue like this isn't in the original Disney movies (I think), so it sticks out every time, so I thought I'd take notes every time they do this. Honestly, it's a really sweet message!

And then the game keeps bashing you in the head with a stick about how Riku believes Sora doesn't care for him. 😂 which, he obviously does. Brother, just talk to each other already! Be honest!! Lmaoooo, man, I love this melodrama
