Me: I will be a good writer and get this entire multi-chapter fic done BEFORE I start posting.
Also me after writing a few chapters: Nooooo, I don't want to wait, I want to post it NOW.

Happy Birthday Jensen!
I know, I know it's not March 1st yet!
I know.
BUT!
Yesterday I finished the fic that just wanted to be written for Jensen's birthday. It's a mix of real life and SPN, with a dash (quite big dash ... :) ) of Destiel thrown in, sort of a fix-it too.
Not too short, not too long - about 5k words.
Will post it - yes, yes, I've been TOLD to wait with it! - on March 1st, here and on AO3.
Will probably wait for my midnight and post it so it might not be March 1st yet in the US (can't wait for the US midnight, will be too busy and won't be able to post)
Jensen making a wish at JIB: I choose to believe he was wishing for a reboot of SPN. <3

I'm so bummed, I ordered some new fiber and it said it was out for delivery yesterday but now for some reason it's back at the processing center and USPS says it's "moving through network" 😭😭😭

This is Chapter 8, yall
“Woah. This is nice.” Hyunjin’s face lit up with a smile. He turned around once again to face Seungmin, who, judging by the look on his face, was very impressed by his office. “You like it?”
“Yeah, it’s… It’s very you.”
He feels his lips bunching up in a pout. “Yeah? And how’d you figure it out in three days?” He hoped his question would lighten the uptight university student- cum- teacher.
He also made a discovery that a confident Seungmin was actually a very attractive Seungmin. When he stopped in his tracks to face him back, his hair was swiped to the side and his eyebrow raised.
“I like to read people, Hyunjin-ssi. I ‘d like to read you. As much as you allow, anyways.” He was not expecting that.
“Goodness, don’t make me doubt my judgement please. What are you, a tabloid person? Trying to sell me out?”
That managed to get a laugh out of Seungmin. “Really? Do you think that of me?”
He shrugged. “It’s not an everyday occurrence where I have to fake-date my neighbour of three days.” The effect that sentence had on Seungmin was quick.
“Ah yes. That. Uh… I don’t have much time, so like… There’s really not much that I wanna tell you to be honest, I just thought… I’d tell you personally. It didn’t feel right to let you know, y’know… Through people, or just basically not face to face.”
Hyunjin softened. “It’s okay, Seungmin, I understand. Do you have any questions? You can ask me anything, I’ll try my best to make you understand. Look, this won’t affect my life much, I just want to let you know, this will definitely affect you more. Are you sure you wanna help me?”
Uncharacteristically, Seungmin’s eyes narrowed. “You keep asking me that question again and again, I just might change my mind. If I am saying I wanna help you, then yes Hyunjin, I wanna help you.”
Hyunjin’s mouth gaped open, and he found himself nodding along with Seungmin.
“Uhm- That’s all, I'll take my leave.”
“Wait!” Seungmin froze.
“I- You haven't had food, you skipped lunch, right? Let me buy you something.”
The other man gave him a small smile and shook his head. “No, but thank you for the offer. I really need to get back to the school, I think I’ll get something to eat on the way. Plus, I wouldn't want to keep you from work, yeah?”
Hyunjin reluctantly nodded. With another small smile sent his way, Seungmin strutted out of the room, leaving him alone with his decision and the looming pool of anxious hope in his gut.
