plot: zombie apocalypse but it’s a rare sight to see an alive human out on their own these days, and my muse is very on edge, wary and frightened after her settlement was attacked. open to all.

“put it back.” the click of a gun couldn’t have been louder in the silence of this shop. she’d pried open the door to get in here, it felt safe given that was the only way in or out, it was hard to budge, none of the dead would get in easily. “the— the knife you picked up, put it back. it’s mine. do anything else and i’ll shoot.” that knife was sentimental to her, but you could tell by the waver in her voice, she really didn’t want to kill another human when they were still.. themselves. everyone knew it by now, there’d never be a cure, what those things became.. was not human. eden looked worse for wear, like she’d been surviving on her own for weeks now. her skin stained by dirt and her eyes kept falling to the water slotted into their backpack. she was hungry sure, but thirst was awful. her throat felt like sandpaper. one hand remained holding that gun firmly, the other was holding her own shoulder. she was hurt, and hurt out here was as good as a death sentence. “i don’t want to hurt you, i won’t follow you or anything like that but i.. want that back.” she slightly tilted her head, brows pulling sadly. “please don’t make me do this.”

the urge to actually write whump...

not hero/villain whump and content, but just...whump. i have a couple whump asks in my inbox (the whole universal whumper, whumpee, caretaker stuff) and it got me wondering if i should start properly writing whump.

cause, this blog is pretty tame in terms of stuff like that (i think anyway, though some do teeter on the edge a little bit). i love hero/villain stuff but i am so tempted to write more graphic stuff on the side because my brain itches for more suffering 🏃

the thing is, if i do, i'm tempted not to post whump on this blog. i was considering making a separate blog for whump, to kinda start getting used to differentiating the two. plus, my masterlist is loooong enough as it is. would that be stupid? would people be interested in a blog on the side for specifically whump, and more graphic stuff, and this one specifically for the hero/villain content?

please let me know i’m dying here.

I can’t see them getting together tbh. atleast not officially. it’s mentioned that reader has a boyfriend that jake is not fond of. if anything further happens it’s probably not with the consent of reader…not that anything else was anw. 😭

like jake starts calling more and more while sober bcs he got away w it the first time. reader js had to be stupid and say “one day” to try and satiate him but it makes everything so much worse…bcs now he thinks he has a chance. everything else falls into the same pattern.

he’s more aggressive with his attempts to get at her. the threats continue, the groping becomes even more frequent. now he’s doing it when and where he can potentially get caught.

eventually he just snaps…he decides today is that day. he has to have her one way or another. he prob doesn’t even realize what he’s doing…he js needs her soooo bad :((( like he’s finally got himself a lil taste

but ofc reader let’s him get away w that too… n it puts so much stress on her relationship that she breaks up with her boyfriend.

it’s a lot of things she doesn’t admit, too…like the fact that she’s been sneaking around, jake is way better in bed & she did break up with her boyfriend bc there’s someone else…prob will use some bullshit excuse like “i just don’t think it’s gonna work out!” & “it’s not you, it’s me! really!”

ofc jake is in her ear through the entire breakup. literally and figuratively…if u kno what I mean. doesn’t even give her time to heal! he’s in her that same day…putting all kinds of shit in her head

I know I went and picked the straight ship, but the outright homophobia—and particularly biphobia—from sections of the wyler fandom is frankly disgusting to see. I really need these people to understand that others in the fandom reading characters as queer isn’t like…a personal attack on your enjoyment of them or some shit. Not everyone will interpret media in the same way, that’s fine, but it’s literally soooo fucking easy to scroll past a take that you don’t like, to not read a fic, to click away if you disagree etc etc. Particularly when it’s a matter of representation, people can read into characters whatever they damn well choose, and it costs you nothing to scroll past and let them.
