I gotta be less hard on myself. Annoyingly i know that my best work comes from when i am hard on myself. But i keep stopping myself from doing things i want to due to perfectionism. Annoying.
#atm i feel like im just chasing interest after interest after interest#ive been working on my mimecraft base a lot but i have. complex feelings about the base atm#im happy with it and its paradise.#its too paradise that it makes me unsettled#which is nonsense its my place and my build#but i feel a lot of pressure to make it perfect#even though I and vee are the only ones who go there and i dont really care about the likes on my posts anymore#it still makes me feel. odd.#i love the work though i love the style and i love using it as a means to imagine a better world#atm im really enjoying just spending time on the server hanging out with vee#but i get into my own head a lot about the base#its not even just the base im talking about everything but the base is the example#i built a bit of a weird interior today i just went crazy with the terracotta and the plants and a pool of water#and i keep thinking on if it was the 'right' thing to do#and if i will be able to complete it properly to a high enough standard#it also doesnt help that ive improved over the course of the last 2 years in building#so now my house looks off and weird and theres trees that need to be taken down and paths that are over textured#but i find the process of doing it and the feeling of completion really deep and important#i dont know. i feel like im constantly in a battle of pushing myself to be better but limiting myself at the same time by having fun or sthn#i feel like i should be making youtube videos or at least prepping to#but i havent because i cant figure out how to organise mods and its freaking me out. theres just loads of excuses stopping me#i dont know.#the annoying thing is pushing myself creatively has resulted in massive benefits for me lately creatively#partly i think why im feeling odd with the base atm is because ive suddenly gone for being barely able to play an hour a night to having all#the time in the world so its created a sudden influx in development#idk. this is rambly#fish talks#i want to download a minec@ft map and remove the suburban housing to replace with higher density properties becsuse ive been watching too#much socialist urban planning videos again and c1t1es skyl1nes just isnt cutting the cheese rn#thats the wrong saying. fandoms censored to avoid crosstagging

Fresh on my mind..#I wish they had a middle option though between '1 day' and '1 week'. I think a week is too long for a poll like this but also#one day is not long enough because I dont really have THAT many active followers. if it was just a day it would probably reach like 5 poepl#people. im still not 100% sure when season 14 of bob's burgers is going to release like they SAY episode one will allegedly premiere on october 1st but beyond that im just imagining a 6 month hiatus bcuz both the writers AND the voice actors of the show are striking and they couldn't have got that far into production honestly
#i wish there was somebody i could just straight up ask about the production process#but this isnt like object shows u cant just @ people on twitter or tumblr and ask questions!!! sad!!!!!#obviously this isnt the actors or writers fault btw i support them striking and its the executives fault for not paying them properly#BUT im a nerd and i like knowing when things are going to come out#and right now they're just going with “everything will be totally normal and fine with season 14” which does not seem likely#especially bcuz writers are constantly editing and changing the scripts late into production and even if the scripts were technically done#that doesn't mean they were actually FINISHED or that the episodes are up to standard quality#we will see what happens ig#txt#bob's burgers

Like, I recall they say the whole experimental thing, but thats less about the magic and more about the lack of consent and suffering regarding those experiments-

I mean we experiment on animals first then humans because we value the latter more but at the end of#they day beyond the suffering if a human were to go through the processes of consenting to such experiments theoretically it should be fine#I guess the question is about the ethical nature of magical experiments but a factor of that is that spells are apparently /reversible/#which honestly makes the argument AGAINST the magic usage even weaker actually albnfdajkln and I guess the difference between spells and#irl experiments is that you can reasonably estimate the results of the latter but spells are more spontaneous and unpredictable and#thats why its so unreliable and dangerous- so its a matter of you cant properly convey the potential suffering to a human subject without#experience BUT if theyre willing to consent to it despite the unpredictability would that be enough? #im ok now!!!#still sort of. alert and watchful but#mostly there was just a lot of problems piled up at once but none personally damaging or unfixable and us + loved ones are ok#and autism+burnout brain did not like having to reschedule things on the fly based on Evolution of Problem(s) several times a day#with no breaks to process properly#(also constant hypervigilance bc a lot of the Problems were with the wiring of our flat and that was ummmm#hard to Feel Safe and recoup when your literal living space is threatening to potentially catch fire / is a security risk#and every time a professional comes by and is like oh it should be fine now! and then. a day to hours later. it is NOT!!!! FINE!!!!! AGAIN!#thats a lot hfjdjg kg#it's been two full days since the Last Incident and our most important stuff is Packed just in case so#im choosing to believe this is Under Control until such time as it is Actually Fixed by the pros (electricity guy))#and then there was the annoyance of landlady on top of that who keeps badgering us about the flat being ''too messy''#to take pictures of to sell. but i am starting to believe that the problem is that WE LIVE HERE and cant make it look like an IKEA showroom#because like is there a lot of stuff? yes absolutely. but even with all our best efforts to hide the stuff#the last two times we STILL got told it's too messy for pictures and at this point im like ok whatever#isn't fixing the fucking wiring more important here maybe perhaps. this isn't a livable flat my bedroom has no heating or electricity#maybe fix that before you try to sell LOL#/petty but whatever#like us and flatmate are gonna hide as much stuff as we possibly can with 0 proper furniture to put stuff away in (furnished flat BTW)#and the agency will get what they get like they're selling already rented. buyers KNOW theres people living in there#again this isn't a fucking IKEA showroom we live here and use our stuff............#anyway fhdjfkgk this is like a full on rant about honestly like i'll take that annoyance over the. ah yes electricity in my flat is#potentially a fire hazard now#(tho again we have Not had any issues for 48 hours the problem really seems to be circumscribed to unfortunately our bedroom#that we spend 80% of our time in. in the winter. the heater is electric. oops. anyway fjdkgkgkg)#like genuinely the issue here was less the Problems and more the Pileup and constantly changing plans and situation#and interactions with a ton of folks about it for stuff we don't have scripts for. did a number on the autism brain#prommy we're ok enough now it was just a HARD week and this post was a gotdam Mood when i saw it lol#anyway thank u for sending this in and also Caring this was Heartwarming To See 💕 TwT#saltposting
