Are we talking about vampires? Have some vampire thoughts! Mostly vampire bat related.

Given that real life human beings can taste the stress hormones in meat (and find animals that were less stressed to be tastier), and vampires are often portrayed as being able to taste different blood types and stuff, it would make sense for vampires to be able to taste the difference between various hormone balances especially high vs low stress hormones!

Such as, e.g. someone who doesnt want to be fed on vs someone who is enjoying the process. Vampire Grian would probably also be able to tell if Scar had, e.g., forgotten to eat or whatever.

Also blood, while not particularly nutritious, is basically water and proteins so real life vampire bats are jacked (and also utterly dependent, as a species, upon altruism between random unrelated bats since they have such razor-thin energy margins). Though this is Minecraft and the Saturation status effect exists and conservation of energy doesnt so minecraft vampires probably don't have to deal with all the logistical awkwardness of feeding on a low-calorie-density high-protein liquid.

(Vampire bats can only live in humid environments because they're at risk of dehydration because of how rapidly they need to get rid of all the excess water from their blood meals.)

Real-life vampire bats have local anesthetic (painkiller) and anticoagulant (stops blood clotting) saliva. You could probably do something with this. I am picturing him being asked to kiss someone's minor injury better and he licks his lips first so it actually numbs the area a little. Maybe minecraft vampires can control the presence and concentration of anesthetic in their saliva? Have a choice about the amount of numbing, especially if their targets tend to have varying sensitivities to the anesthetic or are prone to being masochists who like being bitten :p

They also have gouge-tool teeth to make bigger wounds that don't heal as well! These wounds are generally on the limbs, face, or uh, sensitive areas. Places with lots of blood vessels near the surface. The neck is generally avoided because it's just awkward to get blood from there.

Anyways vampire Grian mixing in feeding from Scar in with collarbone kisses would make perfect sense and probably be enjoyable for both of them.
