Fox will later blame the entire conversation on the fruity green drink that Commander Bly had brought him from the bar, without his input.

"I miss hanging out with Alpha-Seventeen."

It smells malty, tastes sweet, and after three sips makes his mouth numb and tingly enough that he barely realises he’s said anything out loud until he notes that all eyes have turned to him.

Three CC-class clones he has only interacted with in a professional capacity outside of Kamino, and knows by reputation, mostly.

Commanders Cody, Bly and Doom had been kind to invite him to their table when they caught sight of him alone by the bar nursing a beer that was probably closer related to piss than alcohol.

"You used to hang out with Alpha-Seventeen?" Commander Doom is incredulous, Commander Bly is indignant.

"What? We never got to hang out with Alpha-Seventeen-"

Fox takes a few moments to consider lying, making out that he had a revered connection with the most admired trainer on Kamino. The little thrill of pleasure it would give him to obfuscate an undignified truth that no one had to know.

The open expression on Commander Bly's face stalls the urge. He thinks about the numb, yawning distance he has trapped himself behind, and the joylessness of being dignified. Of all the silly little things that no one will ever know about him when he dies, because he had never told anyone.

He interrupts.

"Well. By hang out I mean in my seventh cycle I would sit outside his door for an hour every evening,” he has another tingling sip of green juice to fortify him, and catches Commander Cody’s eyes deliberately “and tell him that if I was graded lower than you in the marksmanship exam, then I would strangle you to death in your bunk."

Bly laughs, startled, and beside him Commander Cody doesn't show any offense, but does raise his eyebrows as he sips his pink lemon drink, holding the sparkly decorative cocktail stick out of the way with his forefinger.

Fox eyes his non-response, and registers in himself a prickle of disappointment. He will examine it later, he assures himself, when the green juice has worn off.

"Did he ever talk back?" Commander Doom leans back against the sticky vinyl seating in the booth, and watches Fox's face the same way Fox has been watching theirs. He thinks he likes Commander Doom.

"No, i think he just started putting headphones in and taking a nap or something. I stopped eventually." there’s a shadow of a smile, which as far as Fox has been able to put together about the man is as good as a chuckle.

Commander Bly is far more ready with a grin.

"Fox, that’s not hanging out. That’s a symptom of something being very wrong. With you."

Fox, he thinks to himself. He had progressed to friendly address with Comman- with Bly, at least. It was promising.

"Yeah, i had no friends. He never told me not to strangle you though, Commander,” Fox twist the corner of his mouth in a wry smile, to hammer home to Commander Cody that there’s no intent behind the joke, even as he needles for a response, ”just want to emphasize that. I considered it."

"Why? I don't think we ever even spoke as cadets." the eyebrows are raised again, and still Fox can’t get a read on his expression

"Oh no, yeah, we didn't. I only knew you existed because you broke my record score in the flightsim in our fifth cycle and I swore revenge. You bastard. "

"This is why you didn’t have any friends, then?"

"Yeah. Pretty much, yeah. I worked on it."

"Do you still want to strangle me to death?"

"Hm. Remind me what your marksmanship score was in cycle seven, and i'll get back to you."

Commander Cody laughs, and the smile that breaks across his face is as much a relief as it is a victory. Fox lets the tension in his shoulders ease and rocks with the playful punch to the arm from Bly, barely rescuing the remaining half of his drink.

Later, he will blame the green juice for the small, real smile that wont leave his face for the rest of the night, when the three Commanders insist he drop formality and call them by name, for force’s sake, relax, and when he tests the water with a trivial gripe about paperwork and is met instantly with sympathetic noises and agreements, he feels on a firm footing at last.

See, he can make friends just fine, Stone.

A/n: Hello! Here is part 3 for the Charlie Weasley fic I promised. Sorry this took so long. I promised angst, so I'm giving it. Hope you enjoy!

Another day, another exam, or so it seemed that way at Hogwarts. As May came to a close, and June starts, your O.W.L.s were giving you more stress than you had ever felt. Your future was on the line if you didn't do well with your exams.

Not only were your exams crushing you, your relationship had been rocky for a couple of months. After the valentines day dance with your date, Charlie Weasley, nothing could have made your life better. You were dating your best friend, all of your friends supported you, and you had no tests coming up. In other words, very different from your life currently.

You were still technically dating your best friend, but from long classes and homework that came with them, to Charlie's quiditch practices lasting forever in hopes of winning the house cup, you hadn't had time to spend a moment alone together in what felt like years.

Your friends would always be there for you and you knew that, you cared about them with your whole heart and knew they felt the same way, but they had their own exams and futures just as you did. You would never ask them for anything because you didn't want to be a burden.

And of course, your exams. Your dreams of becoming a curse breaker were very important to you. You wanted nothing more than to help people, on top of finding your brother and protecting hogwarts. You were a natural curse breaker so it only makes sense that you would pursue your passion. However, if you wanted to do that, you needed to not only pass your exams, but exceed the expectations.

With that responsibility came nights on end in the library, studying, preparing and hoping that it would all work out. Your exams, finding your brother, hell, even your relationship with Charlie. You knew how rocky it was and you were devastated by that, but you knew if you two truly wanted to, it would work out, or so you hoped.

So, another night in the library, was your fate. You wanted to be with Charlie, but you knew he had quiditch practice, and you had a potions exam in the morning that you weren't ready for. As you flipped through your book, trying to soak up as much information as you could, you didn't notice a certain redhead sneak behind you.

"Hey baby," you felt the hot breathe on your neck and jumped more than out of your skin.

"Blimey Charlie, you scared me." He chuckled as he pulled a chair beside you.

"Sorry, I just wanted to see you after practice, and I haven't seen you all weekend." He smiled at you, which you couldn't help but smile back.

"I know, its just tomorrow starts like the most stressful week of the year. If I don't do well on my exams, my future can be forgotten. Speaking of, I am not ready for potions tomorrow, hence why I'm here." You smiled as you looked back towards your book.

"Hey, you're gonna do great on your exam because you are great, and smart, and beautiful," Charlie said as you rolled your eyes and laughed. "Its just we haven't seen each other in a while, thought i could keep you company." You sighed.

"Look, I know we haven't been the most talkative lately, but what exactly do you want me to say, you know how important this is to me." He put his hand on yours.

"I know, I get it baby, I do, and after this week, we're gonna celebrate." He said with the biggest grin on his face. Suddenly, Madame Pince came around the corner with the dirtiest look on her face.

"Shh!" You smiled sheepishly.

"Sorry Madam-"

"Shh!!!" You sighed as she walked away. You turned back to charlie.

"You better go, I have to study and don't wanna get kicked out." You smiled at him.

"Okay, but I meant what I said about celebrating." He smiled hugley. You returned the smile, only a fraction of what he had given you. That made his smile falter and eventually he turned and walked back to his dorm.

Eventually you had to except the time as 11pm rolled around and Madam Pince kicked you out of the library. You took the book along with all your other stuff and headed towards your common room.

Once you were in, you sat down near the fireplace and opened your potions book once again, flipping to the section about dragon livers and how they were hard to get.

Eventually, you heard the clock strike 2am and had to call it a night. As you closed your booka nd sat back, looking into the fire, you thought of your life as a cursebreaker, how great it would be, how much you wanted to do it, and what you were willing to do to achieve that goal.

As you stood up and headed towards the stairwell, your way was blocked by charlie, the last person you expected to see, especially at this hour.

"Hey, what're you doing up?" Charlie asked groggy.

"I could ask you the same thing. I was just going to bed." You said as you pushed past him and climbed the stairs. He followed you up.

"I thought you'd be up, I was just checking on you." You turned around as you got to the last step before your dorm and smiled.

"Thats sweet, but go back to bed. Goodnight." You leaned down and kissed him on the cheek, then headed into your dorm, falling on your bed and instantly falling asleep.

The next morning, you woke at around 8. Shit. You were late. You quickly got up and dressed faster than ever and ran to the dungeons. You mad either to class just in time, not eating or anything.

"Well, well, Ms. Brooks, you have decided to grace us with your presence, how considerate." Snape sneered at you as you walked to your seat beside Rowan, breathing heavily, across the room, you saw Charlie looking worriedly at you, which was the last thing you wanted in that moment.

Once your potion exam was finished, you walked out of the room, feeling exhausted and like you failed. You started walking to your next exam, which was charms, the easiest of your exams. Soon enough a certain redhead caught up with you.

"Hey, y/n, why were you late today?" You turned to him.

"I over slept, which I dont do, so I didn't realize at which point I had to sprint to make it, which I didnt." You sighed tired lying. "Why?"

"Just wondering, I missed you at breakfast. Did you eat anything?" You smiled softly.

"No, I haven't but its fine, look i have to go to charms and I really don't wanna be late again, see you." Without another word from either of you, you walked away to charms.

At charms, you felt most confident of all classes, which honestly wasn't saying a lot. You finished your exam pretty easily and walked to the great hall, intending on studying until your Defense Against the Dark Arts exam in an hour. Once the clock struck the time to take your next exam, you left the great hall.

Once you reached DADA, you walked in with Tulip and took your seat. You should feel bad, but you just were so glad charlie wasn't there, staring at you like a sorry case. He meant well and you knew it but you just wanted space.

As you finished your final exam of the day, you headed to the library, studying for transfigurations next. When you reached the library, unfortunately you fell into the same pattern as the previous night, except this time no charlie.

When the clock struck midnight, you went to the dorm room and headed straight for bed, not bothering to study anymore. Once your head hit the pillow, you were out.

When you woke up the next morning, the sun was shining into your window nicely. It was a good way to wake up honestly. You say up and saw Rowan asleep. You figured you had a few minutes before breakfast so you got up and got dressed.

You and Rowan walked to breakfast while revising your transfiguration knowledge. You didn't feel as bad about it as potions but you also didn't feel as great about it as charms. Walking into the great hall, you found Charlie sitting with his younger brothers. You knew you had to go sit with him.

"Hey y/n, how'd you sleep?" Charlie asked as he saw you sit next to him and his brothers giggled at him, to which he sent a dirty look.

"Um, not the best but ye know. Its whatever." As you sat down you ate the blandest breakfast ever, granola and coffee, it would just have to do for today.

"Are you guys ready for the big game tomorrow night?" Fred asked the table. You looked at him with a confused expression whereas everyone else seemed to understand.

"What game fred?" He turned to you.

"Uh, the house cup game, we are so gonna kick hufflepuffs ass." Ah.

"Right, good luck." Charlie turned to you.

"You'll come right love? What me win?" You smiled as you sipped your coffee.

"Uh yeah, maybe, I might have to study for History of magic but we'll see." Charlie stopped.

"Y/n, you can't miss the game, its only the biggest game of the year. Please come." Ugh when he gave you those puppy dog eyes, you knew you were done for.

"Okay, yes I will go, of course I will." You smiled and kissed his cheek.

As breakfast finished and you and Rowan made your way to transfiguration, you felt confident in the upcoming essay. Going over info with Rowan definitely helped.

Once you were finished with the exam, you went to the great hall, being assigned twenty five inches of parchment for the second half of the exam was not ideal. You were stressed out, but at least you only had care of magical creatures left for the day, something you were sure you'd excel in thanks to charlie.

As you walked down the grounds for your exam, you felt very confident that you'd do well. Your confidence was correctly placed as you walked to the common room to start on you parchment for transfiguration, doing very well on your exam in care of magical creatures.

The real problems didn't start until the following day, charlies big game was today and you hadn't made a dent in your parchment, due to not being able to focus and eventually falling asleep far earlier than you would have liked. Today you had exams in astronomy, history of magic and a regular potions class. You were extremely busy today, it didn't help you woke up 20 minutes before your exam in astronomy so you had to sprint once again to be on time.

Once you were seated in astronomy, your exam begun and you didnt feel very confident. You gave it your all and after about 75 minutes, you were done. You walked out and saw your boyfriend charlie who lit up when he saw you. You walked over to him with a small smile on your face.

"Hey babe, whats up?" You asked him.

"Not much now that your hear, just nervous for later." You looked at his smiling face confused.

"Later?" His smile dropped. You had forgotten about the quitditch match.

"The match that determines who wins the house cup? I thought you were coming, its really important to me." Shit. Right, yeah of course you would go.

"Right, of course I will be there, sorry I'm just tired you know how it is. I will be there, but right now I have to go to potions, ill see you later." Damn, how had you forgotten?

Potions seemed to last forever as Snape lectured on Beatle brains, you swore you were going to die of boredom, all you wanted to do was study for history of magic.

When class was finally dismissed, you headed straight for the library, not having your final exam for an hour and a half. When you sat down in the library, you immediately fell into studying, the time slipping by quickly until it was time to go to your exam.

Arriving to your exam, you set your things down and got ready for it, feeling confident as you had spent a lot of time studying for this. You finished your exam in 65 minutes and headed to the great hall, feeling hungry.

When you got to the great hall and saw what was happening inside, all hunger left your body.

Shit.

Inside, Gryffindor students were celebrating the win of the house cup, you had forgotten the game. You walked in to the great hall and saw Charlie, held up by his teammates above everyone like a king. You smiled at how happy he looked, but when he saw you, its like every drop of happiness was taken from him and you felt your heart break.

Charlie told his team mates to let him down which they did as he made his way over to you, looking hurt and disappointed. You couldn't do much besides stand there and look at him sheepishly.

"Y/n, why didn't you come to the game, you knew how important it was to me and how much I could have used your support." He said loudly, causing those near you to look on at the conversation.

"Charlie, can we go in the hallway?" He looked pissed but didn't object. Once you were away from everyone, you turned to him.

"Charlie, I am so sorry I didn't go to your game, I was in the library studying and the time just got away from me and before I knew it I had to go to my exam and I completely forgot l. I'm so sorry. But you won anyway so you didn't need me at all, cause your just that good." You said with a smile, trying to defuse his anger. It didn't work.

"Y/n, that's not the point, you said you would be there and I wanted you there. You didn't need to study for your exam, you've been studying all week, this is all I asked of you and you couldn't even give me this." As he finished, you felt sorrow drain and anger rise.

"What exactly do you mean I didnt need to study for my exam? I have been studying all week, unlike you, because I care about getting good grades. You know how badly I need to do on my exams to have a future! I didnt go to your match, because I wanted to make sure I did well. I apologized but now your being irrational." He scoffed.

"Irrational? I asked one thing of you, I asked you to attend a quiditch match to support your boyfriend, but apparently if it doesn't benefit you, it doesn't matter, huh is that it?" You were now fully screaming at each other, thank god the hallway was deserted.

"Are you serious? You know maybe if you cared more about your future and grades like I do, you would see where I'm coming from, but all you care about is a God damn match and dragons! No wonder we've been like this for months. You say im selfish, I've done everything for you. I miss one thing and the worlds over to you." Charlie turned away and scoffed.

"You're right, we have been like this for a long time, because we just don't work anymore." You froze. "Y/n, you can't even support your own boyfriend, you care more about tests than anything, this clearly isn't working." You looked at him while a tear rolled down your cheek, which you quickly wiped away. You didn't want to break up with Charlie, God no. But he didn't seem to want to stay together.

"Charlie, it's not like that, you know how stressed I've been, I'm sorry I didn't come to your game, I truly meant to go. I care a lot about my future, but you don't and thats not on me. You can't put this on me, its not just the match, you've been like this ever since the dance, its not only me." More tears rolled down your cheeks as one slid out from his eye.

"Y/n, this just isn't working, I'm sorry." No, God no please.

"Charlie, no, please, don't do this. I swear I-" he cut you off.

"I'm sorry, its already done." He turned and walked away, leaving you standing alone in an empty corridor, feeling your heart leaving your soul. You don't know how it happened, you don't know where it went wrong. Was it truly the match? Or was it ever since the day of the dance? Did he even ever like you?

As you stood in that corridor, you felt cold, you felt like you soul left you. You watched him walk away and eventually out of eyesight, thinking about how you would never feel his kiss again, never feel the comfort of his embrace, never feel his love again.

You didn't want this, God no, but your gut told you it had to happen, you just wish it didn't hurt this much. As you wrapped your arms around yourself and sank to the floor with tears on your face, you felt nothing but hollow, wishing the presence of charlie was still there. Wishing he could hold you and tell you he loved you again, as you loved him still.

You didn't know how you were going to go on without him, but you knew one thing for sure, the last thing you cared about was your fucking grades, because you just lost the best thing in your life.

I was finally on my way home. Thank the Lord. I seriously couldn’t have gotten out of that office quicker. I work in a tax office as a receptionist. I know worlds most boring fucking job ever. But it pays very well and money is not boring. Anyway, I was finally on my way to Davids place because we had previously agreed to stay in and just hang out. The two of us. We’ve both so busy with our work that we set aside tonight for us. I stop the car in the driveway after being let into the gate. I grab my bag, jacket, and my keys and make my way inside. I unlock the glass door and proceed to take off my glossy heather grey heels. I hang my keys on the hook and carry my bag to lay it down on the pool table.

“David! I’m home, baby!” I said excitedly. I waited a couple seconds for a response from him and nothing.

“David?!” I yell again while walking around the house. Confused, I decide to text him asking where he is.

You: Where are u?

It took him a while to text back with an excuse. I don’t want to sound petty and jealous but we set this day aside specifically.

David❤️: Holy shit, baby! I’m so sorry. I totally forgot. I had to film with Jason cause his memory card broke. I’m coming back right now.

“Aw man!” I yelled into the empty house. I knew he’d try and get here as soon as possible but it sucked that he wasn’t now. He does everything for me I should just be glad that he is trying. Some guys don’t but he does. As I start to trap myself in thinking about amazing my boyfriend is, an idea passed through my frustrated mind. Maybe he isn’t here, but I can sure as hell make him wish he was. I’ve been with this kid for 3 years, I know what it takes to ya know...get things started. I grab one of his shirts and my black lace panties. I throw my hair up and go to the mirror with my phone in hand. An outfit like this is sure to drive him nuts. I lift up the side of the shirt closest to the mirror and lean on my one leg to make my ass look big. I snap the picture and send it his way. This is revenge. He can never control himself when it comes to me no matter the time or the place.

Davids Pov

I felt awful. I know how long she’s been looking forward to our night and I ruined it. I told Jason the situation and he understood. He started to drive me back home which we were thirty minutes away from. When I suddenly get a picture sent to me from Y/N. I open my phone to see her in the big mirror with my shirt on and black underwear on.

“Jesus Christ.” I said quietly while choking on my tongue. She was gonna torture me in the car, over text message, with Jason in the car. She knows exactly how to fuck with me in that way and she knows I can’t control what happens down there when that time comes. I bite my lip and look to Jason who is too focused on the road to notice this. My fingers fly across the keyboard.

It was working. I had this idea to start sending videos of me slowly taking off articles of clothing. I pressed record while doing different poses and stuff I then proceed to take off my panties and drop them on the floor. This was gonna kill him inside. But it wasn’t done there. A video?! God this girl was trying to get me killed. I opened it while scooting a bit further back and raising my phone closer to my face. I think I got my point across. In the last video I decided to shake my ass at the camera a little bit because David is and always has been, an ass man. That for sure drove him over the edge. I put my clothes back on because Davids guys friends would be arriving any second. I invited them over so that when David did get home he wouldn’t be able to get his hands on me. That would be the ultimate tease. A picture with these guys in mirror I was just naked in. I waited for them to arrive and literally in minutes they all did. I yelled hello and ushered them all inside. I greeted people and said hello to everyone. I suggested that we all take a picture in the mirror. I crouch down while the rest of them hold up peace signs or blessing positions. This was going to kill him.

One last picture I hoped. I open my phone to Y/N in the mirror with the guys. They had no idea what she was just doing. Now they are all going to be there when I get back so I will have to wait hours to get to her completely. She is the devil in an angels suit. She was the ultimate punisher. I inhale through my nose as we finally reached my house the driveway filled with cars. I walked in to all of the guys chilling and talking to one another some of them talking to Y/N. She gasped and got up slowly from her seat but came over to give me a kiss.

“Hi.” She said to me quietly. I looked at her up nd down. She looked like she had never done anything bad in her life. An innocent little snowflake but I was the only one that really knew how wrong that was. i touched her hip and pulled her a bit closer.

“I. Will deal with you later.” I growled in her ear. She shivered at the sound of me. Knowing I have that effect on her gives me such a power rush. She walks away from me swaying her hips back and forth in the process. God the things I was going to do to her. The night went on and we exchanged glances from time to time. When Zane was the last to leave Y/N shut the door behind him. I waited by sitting on the edge of the pool couch. She turned around and found me. She discarded her jacket.

“What now?” She said wrapping her arms around my neck. I stand up and I grab her ass so that she she can straddle me in the air. She wraps her little legs around me.

“Now, it’s my turn to tease you to death, and I won’t be going easy on you either.” I said into her ear. Her head leaned back as if she was gaining pleasure from me just talking to her like that.

“Is that a threat or a promise?” She said pecking my lips. I carry her into my room and throw her on the bed.

“You left me in a car trapped with Jason with all of these videos and pictures of you teasing me out of my mind which left me with the worst blue ball I’ve ever had and you have the audacity to ask me if I’m threatening you or promising this?” I said to her. She batted her thick lashes at me and looked up with her sparkling Y/E/C eyes. “Let’s just say...you’ll feel this tomorrow.”

Holiday: Chapter 14

A/N: you’ve all been waiting.... here it FUCKING is. I cannot deaaaaaal.

I had become a pro at dodging phone calls. I’d left Harry the voicemail a few days ago, and he had returned it only a few hours later. Too caught up with Anne in the bathroom, I got to my phone just after the call ended. After that, I couldn’t bring myself to call back. He’d call again the next day. Actually, he called a couple times throughout the day. And the next day too, and sprinkle in a few texts. ‘Are you okay?’ Or ‘Why aren’t you answering?’. He’d call Anne, as her week and a half long vacation here came to a close, and she’d brush it off. She’d lie, as I sat vertically across the table from her, telling her to keep it vague. So when he’d ask what I was up to, how I was feeling and if I was functioning like a normal human being, she’d assure him I was as well as could be expected. ‘Keeping herself busy with work’ she’d say, before cleverly rerouting the topic.

She wasn’t lying, honest to God. I truly have been keeping myself busy with work, and had even bitten off a little more than I can chew. I’d made it my job to call over to New York at least three times a week, if not more, just to make sure Molly hadn’t let my dad wither away and hide in his room. She’d call every night, sometimes so late, in the middle of an anxiety attack. Her voice was practically inaudible as she wept loudly into the receiver, leaving me puzzled and incapable of aiding her. In addition to that, I’d taken on a few extra clients to keep myself busy. I found that too much time to myself made me prisoner to my own thoughts, and I wanted to avoid that at all costs. Having Anne here definitely helped, especially since Penelope was being an exceptional handful. When Harry went away, she usually was, since he indulged her in endless attention. 

I had a fistful of hair bunched up in my hand, and I pondered whether or not to just tear it right out of my head. A few blueprints were strewn about on the table, mocking me as I tried to figure out what the fuck to do with them. I was running on next to no sleep, since Molly had called at 1 am and wouldn’t hang up until close to 4. Anne was kind enough to help get the kids to school, in fact she was more than willing. 

She loved dressing them for school, and she’d been snapping photos of them with their little backpacks the entire time she’s been there. She’d let Quinn hang back, sparing him from daycare so she’d have him around all day. I think her favorite part of the entire endeavor was dressing Penelope in the morning,  picking out the prettiest outfits for her. She’d enjoyed watching Penelope teeter into school, linking up with a few of her little buddies from class. I would never accuse Anne of having a favorite grandchild, she adored and doted on all 3. But, she definitely had a soft spot for Penelope. I think a large part of it was because she reminded Anne so much of Harry, so charismatic and a desire to entertain people. I’m sure part of it had to do with the fact that Penelope was the only granddaughter, too.

“Yeh been working all day, Ella.” Anne sighed disapprovingly, walking into my office with a sandwich on a plate.

“M’fine, really.” I yawned, smiling as she placed the plate in front of me.

“ ‘Nd I know yeh not sleeping well, heard y’on the phone late last night. S’not good for you, the baby either.” Anne reprimanded sweetly, frowning at me from the other side of my desk.

The word baby seemed to be a trigger word for me, and my lip instantly found itself in between my teeth as I gnawed at it viciously. I had forgotten all about that, in the midst of everything else going on. It was the reason I was avoiding Harry, because I knew if I’d answer one of his calls I’d unintentionally blurt it out. He was due to fly back to LA in a few days, and I was anxiously anticipating his arrival. We hadn’t really spoke in almost 3 weeks, and the fact that one of the first things we’d discuss is a fourth baby made me lightheaded. As Anne reminded me about my pregnancy, I begun to wonder how Harry was gonna react. Would he be happy? Did he want a fourth? Maybe he didn’t, maybe four was too many. We hadn’t really left off on the best terms, either. I didn’t know if he’d still be a little upset with me when he got back, or which Harry I’d be getting. 

“Dont need t’worry about me Anne. I promise I’m alright.” I forced a smile, bringing the end of my pen to my mouth.

“Y’speak t’Harry at all yet?” Anne frowned, shooing the pen away from my mouth as I nibbled at it subconsciously. 

“Uh, no,” I whispered, re-occupying myself with a sketch, “haven’t had a minute to call him.”

“Because,” Anne hissed, moving the paper from in front of me, “yeh not makin’ the time. Should really relax, not good t’put all this stress on y’body.” 

She did, in fact, have a point. With my mom passing, my workload doubling, and of course the pressing needs of all 3 of my kids, I had put an undeniable amount of stress amongst myself. But I had to, because if I didn’t I’d have too much time to think and that is the last thing I needed to do. Anne had been practically babysitting me the past few days, more than she was the children. She’d check in on me every morning, and make sure all my needs were met every night before I’d go to sleep. The house was pristine, the cleanest it’s probably ever been. She was extra attentive to the toys Quinn would leave laying around the house, scolding him before telling me ‘gonna slip on one o’these if y’not careful’. She’d be right there, when the morning sickness was just about to get the best of me, with a tall glass of water and a few saltines. I was unspeakably grateful, and the thought of her leaving tomorrow made me a little solemn. 

“Can’t eat,” I’d grumble, the mere sight of food making my stomach ache unbearably, “lost any and all taste for meat.” 

“Little bean doesn’t like meat, hm?” Anne would coo, speaking directly to my belly.

Anne was absolutely over the moon about this fourth baby, and spoke to my belly constantly throughout the duration of the day. When she read the pregnancy test she practically cried. She had started calling it little bean not long after, though she had been gushing to me about how she was absolutely sure it’d be a girl. The mere thought of having a girl made me fear Penelope’s reaction, as she quite enjoyed being daddy’s only princess and relished in the attention. I knew it was killing her, not being able to tell Harry, and for respecting my wishes I was even more appreciative of her (if it was even possible to be). 

I, on the other hand, wasn’t really sure about how I felt in regards to another baby. A pregnancy couldn’t have happened at a worse time, as me and Harry had only just started up again, and we clearly were still working out the quirks. On top of that, I was still reeling from the blow of losing my mom. Everything felt like it was being catapulted at me, at warps speed, without allotting me anytime to collect my thoughts. Having three kids already was enough of a job, especially since all 3 of them had very demanding personalities. I didn’t know how the kids would react to a fourth sibling, and for that reason I had kept it to myself. Anne had been badgering me to go for an ultrasound, to know what was going on and get an idea on how far along I was. And I kept promising I would, that I’d do it tomorrow, but each day would come and go and I’d only continue to put it off. 

“Four grandkiddies,” Anne sighed happily, “s’just a dream. Y’making me the happiest nana in th’world, sweetheart.” 

“M’glad to hear it.” I smiled warmly.

“Make me even happier if yeh’d take a nap, maybe nibble on somethin’ too.” She’d instruct, batting her lashes at me as she coaxed me into following her orders.

I hung my head, chuckling at her attempts to mother me so kindly, before I hesitantly agreed. She smiled proudly, placing a quick kiss to my temple as I strolled out of the room. The house was quiet, since Penelope and Brayden were off at school and Quinn was napping, and I enjoyed the nice lull of silence that was replacing the usual shrieks and squeals. 

I hadn’t even gotten halfway across the first floor, en route to the kitchen as ordered by Anne, before I had to completely stop in my track. An all too familiar head rush overcame me, as the room started to blur a bit. My hand subconsciously flew out to the wall, using it to regain balance while the room twirled. I had to shut my eyes for a second, my dizzy spell making my knees go a little weak. It seemed as though they were starting to get noticeably worse, especially if I’d be walking or standing for too long. I hadn’t mentioned it to Anne, because I knew all too well it’d send her into a frenzy and then she’d really be itching to tell Harry. She was already worried enough, and telling her about dizzy spells that were common for the most part seemed unnecessary. 

I settled into one of the barstools at the kitchen island, force feeding myself a few apple slices. Anne had sauntered in not long after me, claiming it was so she could start dinner but I knew it was more because she wanted visual proof of me eating something. She was chattering away with me, about silly little things mostly but she’d slip in a conversation or two about the baby. I didn’t know if she could tell that I was monotone when she’d bring it up, if it gave away the slight disinterest I had. And the more she’d go on about it, talking about who’d she think this one would look like, or spewing name inspiration, I couldn’t help but feel so awful. I didn’t understand why I couldn’t get excited about the idea of fourth baby. It had always been a dream of mine, growing a big family and having a lot of kids. Even before our split, I had clued him in on wanting a fourth, and at the time he wasn’t against it. But how would he feel about it now? 

“Phone’s buzzing, love.” Anne voiced, turning around from the stove and nodding to my phone.

“I know, it’s fine.” I answered, hoping she’d let it go and not ask who it was.

“Know it’s Harry.” She murmured, turning her back to me and fixing her attention to the stove, “Should really talk t’him, think he’s worried.” 

I was quick to let my fingers hover above the phone, debating on whether or not I wanted to answer the call. My thumb decided for me, as it quickly smashed itself on the screen before hitting the end call button. I could hear Anne tsk me from her spot in front of the stove, subtly shaking her head. I was about chime in, doing my best to explain to Anne that it’d be better to tell him in person, but a familiar cry could be head through the baby monitor sitting just beside the fridge. Quinn’s subtle crying turned into wailing, and I hissed as the octave of his voice came screeching through the speaker.

“I’ll grab him.” I breathed out, Anne turning around to fight me on it.

“S’alright love, eat.” She shooed, following me as I walked towards the stair.

“Really, I got him.” I insisted, turning on my heel and going towards the step.

“Oi,” Anne yelped, “Ella! Watch!”

I hadn’t even had the opportunity to ask her what she was screeching about before I could feel the sharp pain stinging the bottom of my foot. Brayden’s little toy car, which he seemingly had forgotten at the foot of the staircase, punctured the sole of my foot. And as if the pain of the spiky thing wasn’t bad enough, the thing faltered my balance before it went gliding across the floor. Anne had dome her best to get across the hall, but not quick enough. My ankle twisted slightly before the front of my body went hurling itself onto the staircase. I threw my hands out in front of me, to soften the blow, but my timing was delayed. I could the front of my forehead smash against the foot of the stair, knocking me out clean. 

“Christ, Ella.” A familiar voice groaned, coaxing me out of sleep.

I shifted in the bed, a small hissing sound tumbling out of my mouth as I realized how sore my body felt. Tired, and not to mention a little overwhelmed and hazy, I blinked a few times as I adjusted to harsh lighting of the room. I eventually figured out who was standing in the door, catching sight of a very frazzled looking Harry. He didn’t wait there long, scurrying across the hospital room before standing himself on my bedside. His frown was prominent, bags under his eyes a little more noticeable than usual. He looked worried, and stressed out, and I had to remind myself that my tumble to the floor had landed me here in this uncomfortable hospital bed. His eyes flew around the room, analyzing the dinginess of it all while looking a little unsettled. He never really liked hospitals. 

“Yeh busted the bloody thing right open!” He breathed, leaning in a little to look at the small wound just beneath my hairline.

“Thought you were coming home tomorrow.” I mumbled, shying away from his stare.

“I mean,” he started scoldingly, “y’didn’t answer any of my calls, or texts and it was really making me-“

“Your mom was with me. I would’ve made it another day just fine.” I answered defensively, his frown furrowing deeper. 

“Clearly not!’ He chuckled lowly, settling into a spot just beside me, “s’everything alright?” 

I wasn’t sure why he was asking. A part of me started to grow antsy, because I was missing a few pieces and I didn’t want to open my big fat mouth and accidentally give him more information than he already had. I didn’t know how long I was out for, or if Harry came straight here from the airport. I also had no idea if he had spoken to Anne upon his arrival, which meant I didn’t know what there conversation had consisted of if there had even been one. A trip to the hospital was sure to have sent Anne into an absolute fit, and she was probably worried about what my fall had done to the baby. I wasn’t sure if she had let it slip to Harry, although I’m sure if she did he’d be much more cross with me. Of course, I was planning on telling him eventually, but I wasn’t sure how I’d go about it. I had assumed I’d have at least another day to think about it at least. 

“M’fine.” I answered flatly, earning a very judgmental eye roll from Harry.

“Mum said y’been dizzy a lot,” he lectured, “not eatin’ right, ‘nd not sleepin’ much. Really, Ell, yeh makin’ m’nervous.” 

“Well don’t be!” I assured, patting his hand, “No need to panic, told you I’m fine. Mean it, too.” 

“Wanna tell yeh m’sorry.” His tone was serious, his fingers keeping my hand placed above his, “ ‘nd not just for like, one thing. I mean fo’ everything, really, ‘cus I been takin’ yeh fo’ granted. Gonna start bein’ honest with yeh, I promise.” 

Fucking great. If I didn’t already feel like shit, literally and figuratively, I was even worse off now. I knew it took a lot from him to apologize, because he never cared to admit that he was wrong. The whole being honest bit made my chest get anxiously tight, because if he knew about the secret I had been keeping from him for over a week, his head would come spinning right off. Then, I started to feel guilty. I felt guilty because what my mom had said was right. He really did care about me, enough to fess up to his wrongdoings. And, in addition to that, I really had been keeping myself closed off to him. The word vomit was bubbling in my throat, and if the doctor hadn’t walked in the second he did I don’t even know what would’ve came out of my mouth.

“How we doing in here Ms Hansen?” He sung, causing Harry’s face to contort in distaste at the sound of my maiden name replacing my married one.

“Much better.” I lied, the twinge of pain from my cut on my head starting up again. 

“Did yeh talk t’my mum? She tell yeh all the symptoms Ella’s been havin’?” Harry spoke up, swiveling his back to face the doctor.

“I did,” the doctor smiled, grey eyebrows wiggling a little, “totally normal.”

“Normal?” Harry repeated slowly, “Passing out like tha’ is normal? ‘Nd the dizzy spells, all that? Normal?” 

I could feel my heart rate start to excel, as Harry was approaching dangerous territory. I was sure Anne had mentioned to the doctor I was pregnant, if it wasn’t the very first thing she told him. I thought about cutting him off, or asking Harry to leave the room. It was a shit idea, because I knew Harry would refuse to leave and even pick a fight with me about how he absolutely needed to stay in order to hear every detail. The doctor nodded, taking a seat in the medical chair as he whipped out a small clipboard with a few attached sheets stuck to it. Harry was watching him, knee jumping nervously as his grip on my hand tightened. 

“The passing out, definitely not. Poor dieting and sleep patterns can attribute to that, Ella, so it’s important fix that. Especially now.” The doctor instructed, scribbling something down on one of the sheets.

“Yep, got it. That’s it?” I was speaking fast, much faster than my brain was working. 

“Why now? Told me y’were alright, Ella.” Harry’s voice was frantic as he turned to look at me, annoyed that I was keeping him out of the loop.

“The dizzy spells are normal, but take it easy for a little while. You’re starting the second trimester in a few weeks, sometimes the dizziness sticks around.” 

The words that fell from the doctors mouth practically made my heart stop working altogether. My face went blank, my body immediately freezing up as I felt Harry’s grip on my hand loosen. His brows furrowed, for a moment, as I presumed he was repeating to himself what the doctor had just said.

And then a puzzled look swept over his face, “Second trimester?”

When there’s not much time left to the day

it was currently 11:11pm and New Year’s Eve night and here you are, at the same place where your heart was handed back to you in two pieces instead of being at home, where you could be with your family. how could you keep on doing this to yourself? he said he didn’t love you, but why was it so hard to believe him? you ponder over why you couldn’t accept that this was the end of you both. you keep coming back to where you were last happiest. it was here, at this stupid coffee shop where he was last with you. how miss his voice, his touch, his sweet laughter, his small face with its defined facial features. you just missed him. jinyoung left you almost a year ago because through out the time you’d spent together, his heart was never fully yours. it’s been so long, you’ve learned to not cry when someone mentions his name or asks you how he’s doing. to tell you the truth, you aren’t sure of how he’s doing either. he broke all contact with you the moment he left. you just wanted him to hug you, and tell you that you’d be alright.

you think back to when you first started dating him .. how simple times used to be. he wasn’t like everyone else. he cared so much more than you thought. you missed him telling you that he’ll be the first one there if you ever needed him. you missed the forehead kisses he’d give you when it just wasn’t your day, and how he’d pat your head telling you that you’ll be just fine because he’s by your side. you even missed hearing him talk about how he would want to be an idol, despite the fact that the idea always scared you. jinyoung was never one to open up much when your first met him. which is why it still shocks you at how emotionally caring this boy is, and how much he would worry over you or himself. you looked out the window hoping that in some alternative world, he missed you in this way too.

you decided it was time to leave before the cafe reeked of your despair. there was only an hour left before the new year after all, so it was best to go home before the city became hectic. the moment you left, the cold air hit your face & you wanted to run back in, but decided it was better to head home. this was the calmest thing you had ever done even though the city was still so alive. people were out with their families, couples had been enjoying their moments together. even those who were homeless had found some way to make the most of this; why couldn’t this be you? why was jinyoung all you could ever think about? he left for a reason y/n, get it through your head. all these thoughts had kept you so occupied that you didn’t notice the tall figure you ran into. you mumbled a sorry before looking up. the chances of finding him here in the city. there was jinyoung right in front of you. just like you had wanted him to be. but why does this feel so wrong?

your eyes widened before completely noticing he was giving the same look. and then he spoke "y/n?" your heart melted at hearing your name again. you’re not supposed to feel this way over him. you contemplated on whether to even answer him, you’re afraid that you would let everything go & finally blame him for causing you so much grief. you tried so hard to walk away from him, but it’s been a year. getting over it, you decided you’d talk to him. "hi jinyoung, how are you these days?” you asked looking at anywhere but his eyes. his eyes were also so pretty and lively; now they seem heavy and tired. "im doing okay" was all he could say. mustering up the courage to look at him, you saw he was alone. you wondered where the girl he left you for was; she was no where in sight. she was pretty and it always left you wondering why she was better. why she let him cause you so much pain. did she know about you? she had to.

Everything finds its place and leaves

"y/n? how have you been?" terrible since you left was all you could think. "ive been better" you lied to him; he was only asking to be nice after all. "no you haven’t because neither have i" he said while grabbing your hand, causing you to look up at him. you wish you could’ve retracted your hand away from him, but god did this feel nice. "jinyoung .. please" you felt your eyes tearing and the ground suddenly looked so much better. "y/n, i miss you so much. i know i left, but that was biggest mistake ever. i was fine for a while, you know? but then, jihoon (FYI: this was before becoming an idol but he knows jihoon through you and all 3 of you were best friends) told me how you had been acting, and it started to scare me. he told me you stopped eating? and that you would never go out anymore. my heart broke knowing I hurt you that much. but im not back here out of pity. im here because i need you back, whether you’ll have me is up to you." you tears began flowing the moment he said he missed you. your rock, the love of your life, your first love had said he missed you. he lifted your head up, he never like it when you cried. "y/n? please don’t cry" he said as he wiped your tears. he carressed your cheek but you wanted nothing more than to scream at him. you missed him but you were so angry at him for coming back like this. "jinyoung? do you understand the situation you put me in? i know that i am not over you but do you know how messed up it is? for you to come back like this? im so angry that you even left me in the first place. but how were we to know that we’d end up in front of each other after a year of being apart?" you checked the clock, 11:40. 20 minutes till the new year and you won’t be home to celebrate but fighting with jinyoung in the middle of the street.

"y/n, im so sorry. i know i messed up but i was a mess without you. she never made me feel like you do. i couldn’t even say i loved her. when I was with her, i thought of you. of all things, you" he said, his voice full of regret, the regret of leaving you after being with you for so long. your heart still longed for him, you still loved him. it was always going to be him, no matter what. "jinyoung, be honest with me, do you still love me?" you questioned him, almost scared of what he would say. "y/n, i don’t think i ever stopped. all this waiting by our coffee shop finally brought you back to me and it’s all I ever wanted." jinyoung said as you looked into his eyes. you saw the love that you had been missing. you heart was swelling back to life. forgiving was always your weakness, especially when it came to jinyoung. he took your hand again, "y/n, can i ask you the same thing?" you knew your answer. saying it would only confirm that you still loved him but, actions speak louder than words. all of a sudden you heard numbers being chanted around you, "10, 9, 8," had the time gone by so quickly? it looks like you’ll ring in the new year with him by your side again. "7, 6, 5" you are devising a plan in the 7 seconds you have left. "4, 3, 2" "y/n?" jinyoung called your name confused as to why you weren’t answering him. "1!" you wrapped your arms around his neck and got on your tip-toes to press your lips against his. his lips, how sweet and soft they are. you missed each other, the kiss only reassured you guys of that. you pulled away from each other, "jinyoung? i always loved you. even when you left, you were all I wanted. i wanted you back and now i have you." he hugged you as tight as he could. lingering around the coffee shop really brought him back to you with the missing pieces of you he took.

Soon the morning came and Charles got up early for once, with Hank's help. He figured if he wouldn't see his child again after today then it wouldn't hurt to at least give her a proper meal. Giving this to her was his only motivation to get up and into life, because it would show her he cared. He knew thats what she needed most in her life now. 

When the rest of them got around they ate together and (Y/N) ate until she wanted to vomit. Hank helped get her bag together and washed her old clothes the previous night. She had never been shown how good the world could be and was a bit excited to really see it for the first time. Soon they had to leave to find Raven and she had to be on her way. She stood at the entrance of the mansion with them, Logan was more of a see ya ler kinda guy. Hank let you know you had friends here if you wanted to come back. Charles gave you a few photos from before Cuba of old times to show her a better time. 

They hugged and she said she would come back to him if he wanted. "Of course I do, just when this terrible business is over." She nodded and was about to move off when Hank brought out a polaroid camera.

"You two should have at least one picture together." He smiled snapping their photos so both she and Charles could both have one. She gave thanks to them and they parted ways. (Y/N) ended up staying in new York for a few more weeks, she jumped from home to home but enjoyed seeing the city. She wanted to stay in the area to be close to her new home, but in the next week she wanted to be anywhere but there. 

One day passing people on the busy streets, everyone had stopped to watch the TVs in the windows and on the big screns. (Y/N) pushed through the crowds to see the news caster say, "Tragedy struck today in Washington D.C when mutant criminal Erik Lehnsherr lifted RFK Stadium from the ground and trapped President Nixon and his cabinet on the white house grounds. We believe he had intentions to kill the President at the unvailing of Bolivar Trask's new Sentinel program. The Sentinels were meant to a new modern safety measure for humans against mutants. Our team's footage shows a few other mutants at the scene, who appear to be protecting the President from this mad man. Unfortunately, their efforts were not enough to stop Lehnsherr from taking the life of Mr. Trask and President Nixon. Our sources tell us there were no survivors when police arrived."

She couldn't believe her eyes as the video showed her dad and Hank both being killed by Erik Lehnsherr and a female mutant there. She ran away to a quiet place so she could cry uninterrupted. She had lost everything she knew and was now completely alone. Another scientist moved the Sentinel program forward and soon all mutants lived in fear. 

At this moments (Y/N) was hiding in an underground base she set up in the sewers, she knew they were coming for her and she didnt care. If she was killed then she could be with her dad and Hank and Logan and her old friends again. They had been trying to break through the blast shields for hours and she had her escape pack on her back, but she sat down when she decided it wouldn't be worth it to run. At 13 or 33 or 73 they would kill her anyway. She listened to an old Elvis record and only looked at her photos of her almost home. They pushed through, and crept up behind her ready to blast her life away. "I'll be there soon dad." 

Unknown to her, the x-gene in her sparked and her mutation unleashed in her dispair. The heat reached her neck but the searing pain never hit. Before anyone knew it, (Y/N) wasn't in her base. She was sitting outside the gate of the mansion, but it was clean and there weren't any signs up. Nothing about her had changed and she still had all her belongings on her. She put away her photo and went through the gate, walking up the road to the house she could hear activity. More ane more so with each step, she began to feel nervous again, it wasn't the 1970s anymore. 

Stepping through the tree line she could hear people talking on the other side of the house, it was much different here compared to the last time she was there. She was afraid to knock on the door so she went around back to see who was there. Immediately she recognized Charles and stopped to stare at him, just like the first time. But he wasn't dirty or dressed in a robe. He was clean and shaven and looked like her photo from 1963. And overall, he looked so happy. He talked to a young teenage kid but stopped when he saw her. She wanted to run and hide, but it wouldn't help anything now that she was seen. She had their attention but couldn't find the confidence to speak. 

Charles went up to her, "Hello? Young lady? Are you lost?" He got down to her level. When her lip trembled and tears came out he got very concerned. "Hey, hey. What's wrong? Where are your paren-" he was cut off by her wrapping her arms around his neck for a hug. He was genuinely confused but patted her back. Raven came out to talk Charles and was shocked, to say the least, at the sight. He saw her and shrugged his shoulders to her, as he didn't have a clue.

He pulled back when (Y/N) didn't, "Are you ok?" He asked slowly. 

She nodded, "You are Charles Xavier right?" He nodded. "Good, well, this....is going to sound crazy. May we talk in private?" He looked to Raven and she nodded, going to find Erik. They went inside, to the library for the privacy.

"Alright. What is this crazy story you ha-" he was cut off once again.

"I'm your daughter.....and I'm from the year 1976." She started strong but her voice left her.

He laughed a little, thinking it was a prank. "I'm sorry to disappoint you but I dont have children. And as for the future bit, very funny. You almost had me."

"Its not a joke Da- Charles. I'm from thirteen years a head in the future but I dont know how I did it." He still wasn't convinced, but he saw she was desperate. "Look, just.....Just look through my mind! You're a telepath. I can't be lying about my memories can I?!" She got excited as she remembered.

He was wondering who she really was, "How do you know that?" 

"Because I found you when I was twelve and you told me yourself. Please, just look. I give you permission, just...please!!" She said exhaustedly and desperately. He was hesitant but if she was telling truth, this would change them both. He nodded after considering it. As he put two fingers to his temple he began to dive into her mind and looked into her life from start to finish. (Y/N) sat uncomfortably as she waited. Charles' expression changed from happy, to sad, to painful and so on as he looked at her. 

"Its all true." He chuckled nervously.

"Yeah and I have pictures. The older one is from this year, and the other is from 1975." She showed him the pictures and he read the back.

"We haven't taken any pictures yet."

"You will. Before you leave to find that Shaw guy. That photo is all my mom gave me before she gave me up. ...without it I wouldn't be here."

"You've certainly been through too much."

"It just makes me stronger." She shrugged. It was very fortunate for her that he had his powers, he understood everything she went through. He smiled at her resilience.

"Well, if you're going to stay I need to talk with the others so they know who you are and what's going on." She stiffened but launched herself at him for a tight hug. He chuckled and held her back just as tight, by looking through her mind he felt like he knew her even though this is their first meeting.

Later on through the day Charles got everyone else together, except Moira, and explained the situation. (Y/N) explored the house all day and met the others. She was a little nervous around her Aunt Raven and Erik being there because of what happened in the future, but decided not to worry. It was a different time, what could go wrong? Charles made the time to spend with (Y/N) nd get to know her from scratch. She told him about her abilities not showing up yet until the accidental time travel. He told her she was just a late bloomer, just because his powers came to him when he was nine doesn't mean she'd be the same way. Which she kinda understood. Moira was there to help, being CIA, and all but (Y/N) didn't know whether or not to get close to her. She tried being friendly more and more to her soon to be mom, hoping it could change her mind about giving (Y/N) up.

Night fell and she sat with Charles once again, so they could get to know each other better. He was droning on about genetics and how she was a mutant even though her mom was human. She laughed at his corney dad jokes. "Come on!"

"What? It was a good one." He reasoned laughing.

"No it was aweful!" She laughed back. It made her feel better than great to have this kind of moment with him. She even felt good enough to listen to music and really enjoy it. She lept off the couch and opened her pack to fish out her 60s Elvis Presley record.

"What's that?" Even though they lived in America she doubted he knew Elvis.

"A record of the greatest hits by the King of rock and roll music." She set up the record player and the song, 'Can't Help Falling in Love,' started. "It's my favorite album. Real American culture." She said giddily.

He listened to it with her and she leant into his arm, wanting to make the most of this moment. He found it sweet and held her close to return the affection. Soon she fell asleep to the music and warmth in the atmosphere. Charles held her for a while and gently took her to her room. He felt like fatherhood was ment for him. He set her in bed and gave her a kiss on her forehead good night before settling down himself in his room.

There had never been a more peaceful time in her life than now, until the deeper night that is. In her mind the voices in her dream were getting louder, like a new voice chimed in every second. Her sleep became disrupted and she figured when she woke it would go away. She sat up in bed and rubbed her head as it didn't go away and got louder, waiting for a while she started crying thinking it wouldn't end. Raven was still awake and passed by her room just in time, she felt protective of (Y/N) and opened her door, "(Y/N)? Hey? Whats wrong? Why are you upset?" She rushed over and hugged her trying to calm her. 

"The voices wont stop!" She cried out. 

Raven immediately knew what was happening because it happened to Charles and she left to go get him. He was groggy and wanted to sleep again, "Yes Raven?" He sighed.

"(Y/N)'s powers are here. She says the voices wont stop." She said before running out. Charles urgently followed and Hank had shown up for comfort too. Charles lifted her up and held her tight, speaking to her in her mind. 

"Shhh, its alright sweetheart. I'm here or you."

"They wont stop!" She yelled.

"I know, I know. The same thing happened to me. You have to use your powers to block them from your mind. Imagine a wall around your thoughts." She pushed her abilities and did what he said, keeping a wall between her mind and the world. She heard it all go quiet and she calmed down. "Good, good job. Keep that up and you wont hear them at all unless you try." She sniffed and wiped her eyes. The others patted her back to let her know she was safe and they were there to help. Her family was all there.

My Experience With Transitioning

fuck me im just copying and pasting what I’ve done up until now

Info already so right now i think im nonbinary but i think i might be completely trans idk (edit later in time: i can say for sure I am completely trans, not just nonbinary.), ive felt this way for a while and my bud sen helped me figure it all out bc i was hella confused and i felt very masculine. A year and a few months ago I cut my hair super short and realized that this was how I've always wanted it because oh my god if i ever grew long hair again id want to die, i hate it and i hated how I looked. So that was that and i was like that for a while and I think sometime during the summer of 2015 i figured out what I wanted to be called (ryan). I started out w/ having people on the internet call me that and it was awesome, but kinda weird having people in real life call me by my birth name and it was really odd. Then October came and my stepcousin was getting married- during that wedding was when i told my dad and stepmum i wanted to be called ryan so I consider that to be the time when I actually started transitioning. It took a painfully long time to get my mother on board to be honest, her boyfriend (who is now her ex) was actually down with it right away but of course he didn't call me or my brother that because it would've been awkward, but we had some late night talks about it frequently. When they broke up it was kinda iffy but I think it was soon after that happened that she started calling me and my brother by our preferred names. At a party my parents went to one night they told all their friends about me and my brother and we've been enrolled in a study, which is 6 MRI's total. I've already had 3 MRI's and let me tell you, they suck, but I think later next year I'm gonna have to get my next round- just basically contribution to help trans people or anyone taking hormones to transition. This year I got into high school and I'm going to a place that's pretty far away from where my last school was, so no one there knows me or that I'm female- I'm completely authentic and I think that's pretty cool, it's what I wanted. So far I think that's all you need to know lmao if I have more info to put down i probably will. Thank you guys for the support, i love you <3 8/29/16 First injection of testosterone. No changes yet ofc, but I found that I was hardly hurt by the needle so now I'm a lot more excited lmao. (Dose amount is currently 0.1 ML) 9/5/16 Second injection. Of course, no changes yet, so there's not much to say except this was my first time doing it at home. stepmum did it tbh, it still surprises me at how much it doesnt hurt lmao 9/12/16 Third injection bois. No really noticeable changes yet however i think i have a bit more hair growth from where the bellybutton is down to the nether areas which is still something and I'll take it xD I'm starting to think I prefer shots in the arm tho. Surprisingly they don't hurt as much as far as I can tell?? it's pretty neat lmao 9/19/16 Still no noticeable changes. I can now say for sure that shots hurt less in the arm than the leg, surprisingly enough at least for me lmao one month b o i s 9/26/16 (sorry for being super late with updating this one) still no noticeable changes yet, dosage is still small as all hell >> 10/3/16 No noticeable changes that I can identify, but I have a friend who told me that my voice is deeper. regardless of that, it's not at all by much at least to me and there's still nothing super noticeable and it's rather irritating. 10/7/16 Not a shot, but my first MRI after getting the three baseline scans before I got testosterone. I got my blood drawn more than I ever have and it got to the point where my vision became brightly dotted and my ears started ringing like mad, it was awful, i thought i was gonna pass out. But the MRI itself was actually a lot better than my last three scans, theyve made so many improvements to make it less anxiety inducing. 4/6 MRIs done, 1/3 blood draws done. 10/10/16 SEVENTH SHOT OF T I'VE BEEN OVER THE MOON TODAY THO 'CAUSE I'M GETTING MY DANK ASS FRIEND A BINDER AS fOR the actual T, I haven't noticed any super big changes but my friends are like "yeah jesus christ ur voice is deeper" so I GUESS THATS THAT I also started recording my voice after the sixth shot so ill keep up w/ that too as much as I can 10/17/16 Still no noticeable changes to me, however we got new needles and the measurements are different and it's weird but ye nothing super exciting to say I guess hhh sorry for being so slow at updating this rip 10/24/16 This time the needle really hurt and idk why but oh well. Still no noticeable changes besides more hair growth on my legs and the happy trail area. Hey guys! I just got back from thjs thing called youth in government, kts amazing. It might sound like some extra credit school thing, but its actually really fun and completly run by kids, except adults there to make sure we didnt take over the hotel!

On the first day, Thursday, we checkedinto the rooms and then went to our seperate groups, where we then took busses to either eat or go to the capital. I ate, then went to the capital. Wither way, at the capital, we took a tour. Its beautiful there, the paintings look 3d and kept tripping me up! Then, we went into one of the rooms where the debates happen. We all took seats, znd one of the RAs asked if anyone had any topics for us to debate on. The girl next to me raised her and, and we started the standard procedure after she whispered to the RA what the topic was. When she was topd to state her topic, she stood and said “Anti-discrimination against lgbt+ people” and a few more words. But i was really happy about that, and that bill was passed unanymously. Which is overly amazing. When she sat down, smiling, i said to her “can i say thank you for bringing up that topic to dabate?” And she smiled and gave me a hug. The second topic is more funny, another girl went up, and her topic was “free femenime products in female and male public restrooms”. The first question for that was what female products were, which made everyone laugh as she told the guys that it was periods and tampons. They all went “oh” except for one who was just nodding liie he knew all this. He did, i had spoken to him and all he friends are females. I also heard them telling someone that he was gay, thats why he could pick them up without them being scared, which made me really happy to know everyone there was that accepting. Either way, all girls and that one guy voted yes on that bill after one girl said “unless you want to be the one cleaning up the blood because some poor person cant afford a pad, then they aremdefinetly a necesity”(some guy said foor was more important and should be free. Im the one that pointed out foor is free if you go to a soup kitchen and other places) The rest of the night was me actually socializing, finding a person that was handing out pins that said his name andnthe fact that he wasnt running for anything, and making donald trump impersojations with my new friends.

The second day, we talked to the group more and i learned that one of the RAs was genderfluid after she helped me with my bill (to let transgender, gendrqueer, nonbianary/agender, and intersex peopls use their pefered bathrooms). She then proceded to ask the whole group if anyone had any prefered pronouns and said how she used she/her they/them, and i told her mine and one other person said they use he/him they/them. That was literally the highlight of my day, and i made my friend jelous by saying that we were asked our pronouns :] That night was freetime again, so thatbwas fun!

The next day we debated our bills. Mine was the last one, but the first bill debated was the one gay boy and his friend. Their bill was to have all kids learn about sexualities and genders in middle school health, and they said it was becauze,mif theremwas sex ed, then there should be a SEXUALITY ed! It wasnt passed, because people said that parents dont want their kids knowing about that, which is stupid because sex ed is more inapropriate then sexjality. Plus they had said multiple times that kids parents and kids themselves could opt themselves out of the class. It was a really good bill idea, too…. The other b8lls went on, and then in the last 5 minutes mine was debated. Mine was to let transgendr, intersex, nonbianary/agender, genderfluid, and anyother gendered people use tneirnprefred bathrooms. I got a lot of questions that went like, “what if the person trys to peak, or rape?” And finapoy the nice genderfluid RA stood up and said “just because someone in the mens room has a vagina or someone in the womens room has a dick doesnt mean they are rapists or perverts. Everyone has common sense.” After that, my debare ended, and all but 3 people voted for my bill. The three people were some boy that argues about every little thing, and his 2 friends. They realized their mistake after seeing the gay boy vote for this, because they were friends with him, and appologized to me for not voting afterwards. It was amazing. That night, i wore my anime t to the freetime, and made about 20 new friends because of it XD I didnt get all their numbers/hangouts/social media accounts, which sucks….

The next day, today, was the final debate. My bill had passed, so mine should have been debated, but we didnt have enough time because there were 3 other groups with us debating. That really pised me off. Good thjng is, the free femenime products thing was brought up again. This time, though, one boy stood up and made an amendment that MALE products were put in both bathrooms (both bathrooms because the person that made the bill had included transgender people that didnt have enough money for bottom surgery which made me happy). This male product thing made everyone laugh, nd one girl tenitivly stood up and asked what they included. He said tools to help them masturbade- im not kidding, those were his exact words! Good thing is, the amendment wasnt passed. The bill was, though, so yay for free feminime products!

…not. I wish this was all real, but its called “youth in government” for a reason. Non of it can actually be passed, akthough one of the leaders (adults) said some lf them should be passed.

Anhways, i had alot of fun, made new friends, and im definetly doing this next year! Till next time!

It’s the stretch drive in the CIF, as teams are firmly into their playoff runs.  Four teams ranked in the City of Riverside, entering play on Thursday.  There is a new top squad this week, but all business will be settled over the final two weeks in October.

#1 HILLCREST TROJANS LAST WEEK: #2

5-3 (3-0, RIVER VALLEY/DIVISION 10)

Another impressive win (42-0) over Patriot (5-3), catapults the Trojans into the top spot.  Hillcrest is clicking on all cylinders, having won four in a row, their last loss being on September 7th at Kaiser (7-1, #2 in Division 8). Jon Brandom's squad is playing the best football in Riverside right now.

Over the course of the four-game streak, Hillcrest has outscored its opponents by a combined score of 129-32, and 56-3 over the last two weeks.  The Trojans clinch the River Valley League crown, if they can knock off La Sierra (5-3, 1-2) Friday, in a Riverside TV game.  While Hillcrest is rolling, the Eagles are reeling, having lost two in a row, and will attempt to get off the mat, and pull the rope-a-dope in Week 9.  Hillcrest should be fully prepared, though, as La Sierra knocked them off, 21-13 last season.

Two road wins (Patriot and Norte Vista) and wins over teams in higher divisions (Arlington, Temescal Canyon) have helped Hillcrest ascend consistently in the rankings over this past month, and they seem to be peaking at the right time, as the CIF Playoffs approach.  Moreno Valley, Rubidoux, Coachella Valley and Shadow Hills loom as potential 1st Round CIF match-ups. The Trojans held steady at #8 in the Division 10 CIF Poll this week.

#2 NOTRE DAME TITANS LAST WEEK: #1 6-2 (1-0, SUNBELT/DIVISION 7)

The Titans fell out of the top spot, despite their 37-21 win over Temescal Canyon (3-5) in Week 9.  The Titans have been consistent, with only two losses to teams in higher divisions, (Aquinas #2 in Division 5, and Paloma Valley, Division 3), and a win over Hillcrest in Week 1.  They go on the road to Elsinore, as Sunbelt League play heats up.  Notre Dame remains ranked, #8 in the Division 7 CIF Poll.

A highlight of the Notre Dame win last week, was Senior K Jun Hwang, pumping a personal-best 48 yarder through the uprights, for one of his three FG on the night.  Hwang has been a four-year varsity player, who could play a huge role down the stretch.  The Titans need to remain focused and locked in on the Sunbelt crown.  They've bounced back from their mid-season stumble, a two-game losing streak in September.  1st Year Head Coach Aaron Huerta seems to have the ship righted, and steering in the direction of the Division 7 playoffs, where potential 1st Round opponents could include Citrus Valley or Grand Terrace.  

#3 NORTE VISTA BRAVES LAST WEEK: #3 6-2 (2-1, RIVER VALLEY/DIVISION 9)

The Braves held steady at number three, but had to do some gerrymandering to do so.  Their game Friday, against Jurupa Valley was suspended, due to lightning, and made up on Monday, requiring No Vi to bump their Thursday game against Patriot to Saturday.  Norte Vista came through okay, as they scored a 48-14 win over the Jaguars, albeit over two days.

Eddie Allain ran for over two hundred-yards, for the third time in four games.  Over the last two weeks, the Freshman has tallied 559 yards and 9 TD.  The Braves totaled 545 yards rushing as a team, after racking up 574 the week before, against La Sierra.  No Vi has now won four of five, the lone stumble being a 53-14 pasting, at the hands of Hillcrest, in the River Valley opener.

It looks like the Braves will miss out on a share of the league title, for the first time since 2014, unless they get some help.  Wins over Patriot and Ramona, would clinch 2nd place for them in the RVL, setting up potential first round playoff match-ups against San Gorgonio or Poly, as the Braves enter this week, ranked 8th in the CIF Division 9 Poll.  

#4 RAMONA RAMS LAST WEEK: #4 6-2 (2-1, RIVER VALLEY/DIVISION 12)

Great bounce back performance for the Rams Friday, as they plastered La Sierra 48-15 in a game that was called after three quarters. Ramona led 14-0 before most of the crowd were even in their seats, and were sitting pretty, leading 40-7 at the half.  The game was delayed for 20 minutes, midway through the 3rd Quarter, before it was resumed, and ultimately halted again, this time, for good.

Even though the rain-soaked game was shortened, Ramona rolled up over 400 yards on offense, as Brandon Osayande threw for 116 yards and 3 TD, to do along with his 63 yards rushing, and 1 TD.  Donte Roby, Jr. eclipsed 100 yards for the first time in three games, and for his sixth time on the season, running for a TD and catching a TD pass as well.

The defense continued their stingy ways, allowing 183 yards, most of which came after the game was already decided.  The 15 points by La Sierra, where the most allowed by Ramona in River Valley League play.  Senior DB Eduardo Aquino did a fantastic job on the Eagles' standout WR Andre Thomas, locking him up, and keeping La Sierra's offense stuck in gear most of the evening.

The Rams could be looking at a potential first round playoff match-up, against Arrowhead Christian, Banning or Xavier Prep.  Ramona moved up two spots to #5 in the most recent CIF Division 12 Poll, with games remaining against Jurupa Valley and Norte Vista.  The Week 10 match-up with Norte Vista could decide 2nd Place in the RVL.

#5 POLY BEARS LAST WEEK: #6 4-4 (2-1, INLAND VALLEY/DIVISION 9)

Poly rebounded from a loss to Orange Vista to take down Lakeside, on the road, 29-0 on Monday.  The four wins for the Bears is the most for a Poly team since 2015.  That's also the last time the Bears sniffed the playoffs, where they hope to make a return trip in 2018.  Monday's win against Lakeside, was the second shutout in three weeks by the defense, which has been buoyed, by the return of linemen Jaylon Keeton and Warren Hardin.

Poly hosts Perris in their home finale of 2018, where a win over the Panthers sets up a Week 10 showdown against John W. North, which would likely hold a playoff spot for both teams in the balance.  A win over Perris would also give the Bears five wins for the season, which would be their most since 2015, when they went 5-6 and last made the CIF Playoffs.

Poly has had its ups and downs over the past three seasons of the Derek DeWitt regime, but the Bears finally seem to be where they want to be, in terms of both having personnel healthy and available, and having the playoffs within their grasp. The game against Orange Vista is worth reviewing, as the the Bears looked to be right with the Coyotes early, but before they knew it, saw a 14-14 score had balloon to 35-14.  The Coyotes are a solid football team to be sure, but this year's version of the Bears wants to believe they're closer to the team that went toe-to-toe for the first eighteen minutes, than the one that seemed a little shell-shocked for the next twelve minutes or so.  We'll learn a lot about Poly over the next two weeks.

#6 LA SIERRA EAGLES LAST WEEK: #5 5-3 (1-2, RIVER VALLEY/DIVISION 12)

Well, the naysayers are clicking their tongues, and saying “I told you so!”  La Sierra rolled into Week 7 with a 5-1 record, and have been delivered a pretty rude awakening by River Valley foes Norte Vista and Ramona, who've smashed the Eagles by a combined score of 111 to 15 over the last two games.  And it doesn't get any easier for La Sierra, who are staring down the barrel at a Hillcrest Trojans' squad, that's arguably playing the best of any team in the city right now.  But, that's why you play the games.

Gary Hedlund's team is swimming against the current right now, but a win would take a big step to stemming the tide, and getting the Eagles back up on their talons.  La Sierra managed to knock off Hillcrest last season, 21-13, and Week 9 was when the topsy-turvy nature of the River Valley League began to take shape, ultimately ending in a five-way tie for first place.  Norte Vista appeared to have righted themselves after a tough non-league, at 3-0 in league play, but stumbled against Ramona and then got tripped up by Hillcrest in Week 10.  La Sierra hopes they can get Hillcrest to stumble in the “Battle for the Bell” on Friday, which we'll have on Riverside TV.

Maybe the Eagles weren't as good as their 5-1 record, but clearly, they're not forty-eight points worse than their previous two opponents, either.  The truth lies somewhere in the middle, and they'll, for better or worse, need to find that middle against Hillcrest.  That is not an easy task.  The Trojans could be the most talented team in the league, and are playing their best football at the right time.  For the Eagles, it could be their last gasp to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2014. But their season ends playing two ranked teams (Hillcrest, #8 in Division 10, and Patriot #9 in Division 11), both of whom want to be rolling, heading into CIF Playoff action in November.

#7 JOHN W. NORTH LAST WEEK: #7 4-4 (3-0, INLAND VALLEY/DIVISION 8)

The Huskies maintain their place in the rankings, after knocking off Canyon Springs, staking them to a 3-0 record in Inland Valley play, but they'll be tested Friday, against Orange Vista, also 3-0 in league, and ranked #2 in Division 13.  The Coyotes are lethal on offense, having a number of home run hitters at the skill positions.  It'll be up to the JWN defense to try and contain them.

The Huskies bounced back from a somewhat uneven effort, in a 21-14 home win against Lakeside, to look dominant in a rain-shortened 35-0 win over the winless Cougars.  They ran out to a 28-0 first quarter lead, before the lightning and rain came, and the game was called, 8 minutes into the 2nd Quarter.  Nick Satcher, and the two-headed backfield of Venasia Mika'ele and Jerrell Calhoun, all were able to click early, and get John W. North off to a fast start.

If North can earn a split against Orange Vista and Poly, they'll sew up 2nd place in league, and likely earn a spot in the CIF Division 8 playoffs, after missing the festivities last season, and despite new Head Coach Dennis Brown only getting  the twenty-eight days before their opener against Grand Terrace.  I'd guess it'll come down to the Week 10 finale against Poly.  Temescal Canyon, Sultana and Temecula Valley are potential 1st Round opponents for the Huskies.  But depending on how things shake out, #2 Kaiser could also loom on the horizon.

#8 ARLINGTON LIONS LAST WEEK: #8 0-8 (0-1 SUNBELT, DIVISION 8)

After feeling pretty good, putting up a strong second half against Paloma Valley the week before, Arlington opened Sunbelt play on a sour note, falling to Elsinore, 52-14.  The Tigers rolled up 300 plus rushing yards against Arlington, and cruised to victory.

While Arlington didn't expect to repeat their success of last season, most felt they'd stay competitive, with a number of returners on both the offensive and defensive lines.  The Lions hung in during the non league schedule, over the first five weeks, but in the last three games, have been outscored by an average of twenty-five points, nearly a full ten points greater than the first five games.

They'll hope to salvage the season over their final two games of the season, against Temescal Canyon, and Notre Dame, both teams angling for playoff positioning.  Perhaps they can go back and view the tape of the second half against Paloma Valley, where they managed to outscore the Wildcats 12-0.

#9 ML KING WOLVES LAST WEEK: #9 0-8 (0-3 BIH VIII/DIVISION IV)

The good news for King has been that they've been competitive in each of the last two weeks, while the bad news is they haven't been able to sustain it over two halves of football.  After hanging in with ranked Roosevelt a week ago, the Wolves were just down a field goal to Corona at the half last week, until the Panthers put up a late score, to salt the game away, 16-7.

Three turnovers doomed the Wolves in their attempt to scratch their first Big VIII win of 2018, and they enter the gauntlet in Week 9, having to face mighty Centennial.  King will finish up next Thursday at home, against Santiago, on Riverside TV.
