Haruka getting possessed and while he is he’s causing chaos and he throws Shidou like a rag doll

👀👀👀 Ohhh this got my brain spinning... (I went for ghost possession scene before hearing your angel/demon thoughts, but both have so much potential omg) Thank you for the ask pal!!

Shidou rolled over in his sheets, perfectly prepared to continue sleeping until the shadow staring at him from outside his cell jump started his pulse.

His hand instinctively shot to the side of the bed before he realized he wasn’t in his home, and this wasn’t an intruder. “Wh-what –” the hell? “What is the matter?” Thanks to years of practice his voice stayed entirely steady.

There was only silence in reply.

He placed a palm on his chest, taking a steady breath. He squinted at the shape of the silhouette against the bars. “Kusunoki-kun, is that you? Is everything alright?”

Her head shook. 

“...Okay. Can you tell me what’s wrong?” He got out of bed, looking around for his first aid kit.

“It’s Haruka-kun,” she said, her voice hushed. It was as if she were afraid to be heard, but they both knew the warden was asleep by now.

“Is he injured?” It was a good sign that Muu hadn’t seemed frantic, but middle of the night doctor calls were never good. 

“He… hasn’t been himself. The way he’s acting, the things he’s doing…” She paused, trying to choose her words. “Muu is scared…”

Grabbing his supplies, Shidou joined her in the doorway. He placed a hand on her shoulder, offering a warm smile. “I know. I’m sorry. It’s always frightening when someone you love is going through this. Depression and stress often cause people to act in strange ways. They seem like they’re entirely different people.”

Muu shook her head again, this time with more urgency.

“Shidou-san. Do you…” she looked like she was getting up her courage. “Do you believe in ghosts?”

“Ghosts?” He blinked. “If Sakurai-kun is saying it was something otherworldly that hurt him, he probably wants to spare you the pain of the truth. That he –”

“– That wasn’t Muu’s question!” She clasped her hands together, looking over her shoulder at the empty panopticon. “Do you believe they exist?”

Shidou frowned. He wasn’t the spiritual type. As any grieving man, he’d catch glimpses of his son around the prison now and then. It was a natural, neurological response to the guilt and distress they were under – even Kazui admitted to thinking he saw his wife around the dark corridors. 

Shidou opened his mouth to reply. 

A scream echoed into the dark. Yuno’s. 

Muu ran into Shidou’s cell as he tried to leave, pushing him back. “It’s not him!” She cried as Shidou tore himself away. “It’s not Haruka!”

He burst out, making it only a step or two before he froze.

Haruka stood a few feet away, an arm raised post-strike. Yuno scrambled away from him on the ground. She made it to her feet, running to Shidou. She had no visible injuries, but her eyes had never looked so panicked before.

“I just wanted to help. I saw him struggling and I just – and he –”

Muu’s arm reached out from the cell and pulled Yuno inside. Shidou let her go, turning his attention back to Haruka. The others were just coming to their doors to see what the screaming had been about. 

“Friends… All these friends…” Haruka’s breathing was heavy. Shidou cursed himself for letting Muu’s words cloud his judgment, but it truly did sound as if it wasn’t his own voice, as if he were playing a part. “All these friends and it still wasn’t enough? Greedy… You’re so greedy…”

Psychological breaks look different in everyone, Shidou reminded himself. Haruka was scared. That was why he hit Yuno. That was why he was speaking strangely now. He was doubting who was friend or foe and lashing out regardless. Shidou had seen this countless times. 

He didn’t know why he felt the need to rationalize things.

“Why…” The boy was hugging himself. “I was your friend… so why?”

Shidou stepped forward. Haruka’s head snapped up to look at him. “Stay back!”

“Sakurai-kun, it’s alright. I’m going to come a bit closer.” He placed the first aid kit on the ground, showing Haruka his empty hands. “I’m not going to harm you. It’s dark, so I would like to get a good look at you. I want to be sure –”

Haruka howled with laughter. It was unbearably bitter, and quickly dissolved into more heaving breaths of rage. “That’s what this has always been about! You want to look? LOOK!”

The floor beneath Shidou trembled. The lights in the panopticon flickered. The guard’s tower in the center, which had laid dormant along with Es, now rumbled to life. The huge spotlight moved on its own. It flashed through the room, the blinding beam landing on Haruka.

He certainly didn’t look like himself, either. His eyes were wild, and the light reflected oddly in them. His body was held with more confidence. More anger. His frown twitched, as if he wasn’t used to using those muscles in that way.

Shidou was having a harder time rationalizing things. 

“I just want to help you.”

“That’s all I ever wanted!” He shrieked. He balled his hands into fists. “All I ever wanted was to be there for him! And look what happened to me!”

 He screamed once, and the prison bell rang along with him. It shouldn’t have been ringing at this hour.

Then, a sudden calm settled over him. His arms dropped at his sides. The tower light flickered once, then shut off. The prison was plunged into complete darkness. The others, who’d been watching in stunned silence from a distance, gasped.

“It’s what will happen to you, too.”

It was the last thing Shidou heard before he felt something slam into him from the side. His feet left the ground. Haruka hadn’t laid a hand on him, nor would he have the strength to throw him like that, and yet he careened through the air until connecting with the guard’s tower.

His head throbbed. He couldn’t draw himself up. He groaned in pain. The prisoners called to him, and he heard running footsteps.

Shidou made a sound of protest as Haruka’s hands wrapped around his throat. 

Not-Haruka spoke again. “If I wasn’t good enough for him, no one is.” 

“You won’t look at him ever again.”

In regards to the SU x TF2 AU:

I have been racking my brain over here trying to understand the decision to make RED Spy a ruby and BLU Spy a sapphire. Nothing about his portrayal seemed to line up with canon depictions of rubies or sapphires, and RED Spy's gem isn't even faceted like a ruby. Also the obvious joke of making him a Bixbite, like the corrupted gem who was a giant crab, seemed obvious. Then it dawned on me.

He's a color-change sapphire, isn't he? That's why his RED version has a sapphire cut despite supposedly being a ruby? And also potentially why he's the only one we've seen RED and BLU variations of (though I get the impression that's also so one can be paired with Scout's Ma and the other with Engie) when all the others have been RED(-ish) isn't it? Or am I completely off base with this theory?

i LOVE your theory i wish you shared your thoughts before i elaborated the ‘lore’ of the au

but since ive had lots of questions about details id like to mention that:

1. i originally had not planned to make any story behind the su au, so if there’s things that dont make sense, don’t align with canon and stuff, it was not planned soo im working with what i have :p

2. i was hoping no one notices the mistake i made of swapping the gems ruby/sapphire lol its because at first i had drawn Blu(sapphire) Spy in that page, but i thought it was confusing since there was RedSpy x Scout’sMa and Scout next to him, so i just changed the colors and i didnt change the gem bc i was lazy :P

3. the main reason i put both Blu/Red Spy was to create fusion, i thought to add an extra merc with a blu color would be cool for the fusions that isnt from ClassicTeam, and idk i couldn’t think of a better merc to have as a pair than Spy and i thought there is more potential with 2 Spies to work on a story than any other merc idk

(yes i didnt put garnet as the fusion so as not to make confusion with Demoman being a Garnet, and we don’t have an Amethyst anyways so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

4. it is IMPOSSIBLE to align each TF2 character with a SU character, there’s nothing in common between the two medias whatsoever, so the dynamics that im gonna be making for the TF2 au are gonna be a bit mixed, for example: RedSpy and BluSpy having Ruby/Sapphire’s dynamic (kinda), but also they have the same dynamic as Rose/Pearl, for the part where Red would go with a human (Scout’s Ma) and Blu would be jealous (just like pearl), HeavyMedic also would be having Ruby/Sapphire dynamic (the part where they fuse for the first time just like Ruby/Sapphire in the show, im still working on comic about this btw)

5. also im mixing with well TF2 canon story + trying really to make an original story too, soo its a whole mess ik :p im trying just bear with me ^^"

but thank you for pointing that out, it makes me happy knowing people actually pay attention to details thats super fun! ill make sure to not miss any details next time! :D

disneyland happenings

featuring varian and hugo. since thats what our costumes were

saw dr. doofenshmirtz (?) i didnt watch that show. he was pretty fun to meet though. i know some people dont like his creepy ass design, but i do, its fun and weird to me. he wanted to collaborate with me and varian since we're scientists. really funny to have him say "i'll have my people call your people". a possible strange message that rapunzel will get later /j

also encountered hades. though our friend @iammisswow was with us and so i had him focus on her since shes a big hercules fan. the visual was hugo getting this scary man's attention to be put on someone else by calling her out. it worked obviously. "oh SHE is a HUGE fan of hercules"

madam mim from sword in the stone didnt really have as big of a crowd so we actually talked with her a pretty good amount. shes SO fun. lots of discussion about magic vs science and how she thinks knowledge is stupid. you can imagine how we of all people felt when she said "KNOWLEDGE is not power, MAGIC is power". she also liked olivia (she thought she was a familiar)

meeting judge doom from roger rabbit was kind of scary LOL. very intimidating man. but his area had vats of chemicals and all that so you can imagine we had fun with that. WE can be trusted. obviously.

nervously just nodding our heads as judge doom tells us to come to him if we have any information regarding where "that rabbit is" (we are not doing that)

and also we saw ernesto de la cruz from coco. we were actually able to catch him right as he started performing which is rad but i dont actually have any interactions to tell u about here it was bad ass though

and, unbeknownst to Hugo (as in i also didnt know about this), varian had a surprise for him. he had a whole... horribly genuine and flustery spiel to say about messing around in his lab and all that and made something for hugo. which was a necklace with a piece of colored glass-like material (teal) in the shape of a heart. hugo handled that whole situation really well (lie)

Your relationship with Rafe was complicated, to say the least.

You argued, you partied, you flirted, you fucked, and you fought in the most vicious ways. There were many times when you left him, told him you couldn’t do it anymore, but there was something about him that always had you crawling back.

Rafe always made you feel special, despite the casual status of your relationship. He was the best sex you’ve ever had, and you’ve slept with quite a number of people. He was more attentive than any other guy, making sure you came each and every time. Even if it was for his own ego, to say he could make you cum, you didn’t care as long as you got some pleasure out of it.

He could be chivalrous when he wanted to, something simple as holding doors for you and paying for your drinks to initially coming over for sex but ending up taking care of you when you were feeling under the weather.

And then there was the jealousy.

Rafe was a possessive man, no doubt about that. Despite his refusal to date you, keeping your relationship strictly as friends with benefits, the amount of times he got into fights with guys who flirted with you at parties or bars was astronomical. It would take more than both hands to count the amount of times you had to drag Rafe back to your house to clean up his bloody knuckles and pray that he doesn’t get arrested over something so stupid.

He felt like a jealous boyfriend, yet every time you would bring up making your relationship more serious, he would scoff in your face and say he doesn’t do that stuff.

You stare at the text from Rafe that you just got, perplexed. You told him not to reach out to you again after yet another bar fight, what you want to be your last time being with him.

The come over flashes in your face like a warning sign, and you don’t even know how to reply at this point. You hate the way you’re so close to doing just that, the magnetic pull he has on you working its magic.

But you’re so focused on the text to notice that you walk right into someone else.

“Fuck!” you hiss, rubbing your shoulder in the spot that made contact with the other girl. The impact causes your phone to drop out of your hand, and you bend to pick it up. “Sorry about that.”

“Oh my gosh!” You hear the girl call your name. A quick glance up has you staring into the face of Sarah Cameron, Rafe’s younger sister. “It’s been forever! How are you doing?”

Sarah is as upbeat as ever, and her infectious smile causes your mood to shift and you can’t help but smile back at her. “I’ve been well,” you reply gently.

She nods enthusiastically. Seeming to be in an even peppier mood than usual. “It sucks that I can’t see you as much anymore, but I’m glad that you finally got away from Rafe.” She pouts and rolls her eyes. “He was such a dick to you. I don’t know how someone so sweet like you could’ve ever been friends with him.”

You raise an eyebrow. “Got away?” You ask. You aren’t sure what she means by that. Besides, with the way he’s texting you, it doesn’t seem like he wants to be “away” from you.

“You didn’t hear? He’s, like, been official with Sofia for a bit. She posted on her Instagram and everything.”

You can feel your face heat up in anger over her words. You couldn’t believe you allowed yourself to be played like that. He had the fucking audacity to text you to come over, to embarrass you in public with his jealousy, all for him to have a girlfriend at the same time?

“Thanks, Sarah,” you say to the girl hurriedly. “I have to go. It was nice seeing you.”

You don’t wait to hear her reply before you storm off.

It doesn’t take long for you to reach the Cameron household. You’ve been there countless times before, and you also know that now is one of the few times when Rafe will be the only one home. You knock on the door, loud enough so that he can hear you.

He answers quicker than usual, probably expecting your presence as your answer to his text. His typical smirk is plastered to his face, and it makes you more pissed than horny as all of Sarah’s words come back to you.

“Took you long enough,” he starts, trailing his hand down to your ass. You push his arm off you, turning past him and crossing your arms. Your jaw is clenched and Rafe’s eyes are questioning now.

“What the fuck, Rafe?” You ask, your tone clipped. “I’m done. Done with you.”

He doesn’t even have the decency to respond, just staring down at you with intense eyes. “Goddammit!” You push against his chest, annoyed with his indifference. He grabs your wrists, restraining you in your place. “I’m not kidding. I’m seriously done, Rafe.” You fight against his hold to no avail.

“Don’t fucking do this,” he says, his words coming from deep in his throat. It’s a tone he rarely uses with you, one he saves for when he’s absolutely pissed. “What’s it this time? Someone got in your ear?”

“Sarah told me—”

“Fucking Sarah,” Rafe interrupts. “Always in my fucking business. Don’t listen to her, she just wants to piss me off.”

You roll your eyes, ignoring him and finishing your previous statement. “She told me you're with Sofia.”

You can feel his whole body still, and your heart drops at the now confirmed truth. It makes you even angrier—him acting like this, despite lying to your face and choosing to date another girl.

“That doesn’t mean shit,” he says through clenched teeth. His eyes are intense as he bores his gaze into you. “You’re my girl.”

Before, you’d swoon at his words, but now it makes you shudder in disgust.

“God, I can’t fucking believe you!” you scoff in his face. “You don’t even have the decency to end things with me before finally getting a girlfriend?”

Rafe is eerily silent. It unsettles you, and you fight to release yourself from our grip and finally leave him once and for all. 

But he doesn’t let you go. Rafe holds your wrist tightly, pushing forward into his house until he has you pressed against a wall. His free hand moves up towards your face. He ghosts it over your throat and you swallow harshly, your breathing shaky. He settles his hand around your jawline, squeezing it hard. You don’t dare to make a move.

His next words make your whole body run cold.

i've returned to post about a particular subject i've been fighting to or not to post, because i used to consider this person the closest person in my life and i even considered her as a best friend and a sister.

and we have fallen out and apologised to each other many times, but perhaps whenever we argued it was life telling me that she is not supposed to be in my circle. and you could be wondering why am i bringing this up and telling tumblr this but im telling tumblr this to be aware of @couerardent and her scamming behaviour.

talk about WORSE SERVICE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

[other people have come to me and spoke about how bad her services were, but i tried to overlook it because i really cared for her, lessoned learn]

i have always been empathetic towards ardent and her money situation, but there are moments when excuses turn into reasons to not do something. on august, i sent alex money because she needed it, but she also said in return she will give me 4 packs she usually gives her clients and she told me she would give me my money back.

first pack is "tell me your story."

second and other packs she hadnt told me what they were but she informed me that i'll be receiving them weekly since august, and now its november.

at first i was empathetic, since i used to be close to ardent, i knew she went through a lot of stuff at home, so i was patient. until august turned into september, and september turned into october and then october turned into novemeber.

and slowly i became annoyed, [as i should] because her services arent even long or good, as someone who gives chart readings to other people that consists more than fourteen pages, the effort to write that would take long, but ardent doesnt even give five pages for her services, three at most, so why is it taking her so long?

previously, she has joked to me about scamming other people, but would put the blame on them and not want to take accountability until they start using threats to expose her, i think she deleted the making fun of scamming them but here is some of it:

i have received 1/4 readings, and that was now almost 2-3 weeks ago, we should've been on my 2nd or 3rd reading by now, the only reason i have received 1 reading is because i did threaten to expose her if she didnt send the money or reading my way, because even i had some issues because living in london has gotten really difficult and i have been trying to support my family as much as i can, but im doing better right now.

its all about the principle. and she has none of that. and even attempted to victimise herself and behave like she was in distress whenever she got called out about her behaviour.

she lost track of time, the time being 3-4 months lol.

and the last one: another thing that gives me so much comfort is the lystiel friendship. not having present parents, being so closed off i know that lysander is such an important presence on tiel's life because he was basically the only close person he had (specially after the debrah fiasco); if lys didnt had taken the farm and went to college and bla bla bla do you think he would still be part of the band with castiel? im not sure if im mixing the canon with a fanfic i read a while ago (lol) but the band was more of a fun thing to lys, right? he liked writing most (i always imagined him getting into a literature degree or something like this). i also like to think that he helps tiel with lyrics at times, even if he's out of the band (in my head the canon is that they are best friends and pretty close till this day, i pretend lys never left our lives just like armin)

It is very clearly mentionned in Lys' AL that they keep in touch, that Lys helps Castiel write songs and Cast also like to come to his farm to have a break and spend time together.
