not kpop but you said you’ve done work in theater/musical theater right? what are some of your favorite shows?
my undergrad degree is in production design, i don't just work in theatre i went to theatre SCHOOL lmao. i did musical theatre for all four years of high school too. my fave musicals are hadestown, chess, phantom, and i looooove the original version of cats. i'm also kinda partial to the lord of the rings musical. and i know it's a mess but you can pry love never dies out of my cold dead hands that show is GORGEOUS. oh and roméo et juilette: de la haine à l'amour. favourite shakespeares are mackers, the tempest, and twelfth night. i've unsurprisingly seen (and read) a lot of plays; a small selection of the ones that were very formative for me are sarah ruhl's eurydice (saw a production that singlehandedly convinced me to go to theatre school), tennessee williams' cat on a hot tin roof (i love this play so fucking much, i did it for my third year directing class), and tom stoppard's arcadia + rosencrantz and guildenstern are dead (read both of these in high school lit class). there's a ton of really small scale stuff that's been very influential on me also, but i won't get into that bc it will either doxx me instantly or no one will know what i'm talking about.

I WATCHED GOOD OMENS IN FRENCH SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO
and it wasn’t that bad. Here are my thoughts, barely edited as I wrote most of them while watching the show.
EP 1
OK i like god’s voice so far
possibilité d’embarras gastrique is a good formulation, I wonder if it’s the same in the book ( I think I kinda need to read it in french now...)
aghghdhgs « primo-délinquants »
of course subtitles don’t match the audio for a variety of technical reasons but when you get things that have very different underlying meanings i find it… not good This one about Crowley being evil / a demon : subtitles : « c’est ton travail » - « it’s your job » audio : « c’est dans ta nature » - « it’s in your nature » i mean dang
crowley sounds like a little shit asking az about his sword
« T’AS FAIT QUOUA » - he just loses his shit (kinda giving me some le coeur a ses raisons vibe)
ok crowley sounds very nerdy when he tries to explain that he took down the phone network, i think i actually like this voice acting
ligur sounds… very suave (im a little ill at ease)
crowley getting called mon chou by satan freddie mercury is a thumb up from me
i see the part where aziraphale speaks japanese wasn’t dubbed over and we can still hear michael sheen. it’s a bit disturbing considering french aziraphale has a higher pitched voice (and he sounds soooo much more anxious than sheen, give this angel a xanax )
“sandwich bœuf cresson” ( beef and cress sandwich ) deirdre really who makes this kind of sandwiches
im being reminded that the chattering nuns prepared little cut outs for their explanation about the antichrist switch… such dedication to useless crafts (it made me laugh on my first viewing and it’s still funny to imagine that some of them either ordered or built these things themselves just so they could make this two minutes long presentation for the most important act of their satanic nun careers)
retire-toi vil démon infernal, créature des abysses XD i swear az doesn’t sound even remotely convinced when he is saying the « get thee behind me foul fiend » line in french, it’s just too over the top for credibility, it sounds like it’s straight out of some super intense dnd session
they still can’t say bouillabaisse (which, like, weird because french, but still valid). nice touch is crowley couldn’t say soupe de poisson (fish stew) either and said poupe de soisson (sish ftew)
warlock mah boy how can you be a teenager and not like dinosaurs
the english version has nothing on french speaking aziraphale for the second hand embarrassement during the magic tour. it’s over 9000 i literally hid my head in my jumper when he was presenting harry the bunny. Horrible experience, 0/20, would not recommend
EP 2
oooh agnes has a lovely voice !
why is young newton having such a quality dub for the three sentences he has to say
dick turpin’s name is jesse james (tbf dick turpin is not known AT ALL in france, i discovered him reading good omens)
shadwell is pure chaos (as expected). No particular accent for him though, the chaotic energy was probably enough. Would have made me laugh if he had like, a chti or a marseilles accent.
aziraphale is so fucking stressed out by crowley’s driving i thought he was gonna explode
« tu es un gentil garçon » => « you’re a nice boy » said az to crowley DANG THAT’S SO INFANTILIZING AZIRAPHALE YOU’RE TALKING TO A DEMON FROM HELL NOT TO PINOCCHIO
ARGH FIRST MON ANGE OF THE SERIES i’m hit straight in the heart
anathema’s mom doesn’t have a spanish / latino accent at all when talking in spanish…. why...
dog being called toutou is definitely adorable (it’s basically « doggy » but way cuter imo)
tickety-boo has become ça gaze. that’s valid. it’s corny but i still use it unironically from time to time so ... i stan
EP 3
« je répands la fomentation » « i’m here spreading foment » « quoi tu fais des crêpes au froment ?????? »  « what you’re making crêpes with wheat ??? » love the fact that we shoehorned in one more ref to crêpes
az called crowley mon cher camarade, unintentionnal communist propaganda ftw
« pas de repos pour les… bah, pour les bons » « no rest for the… good »  – az was so deflated about the ineptitude he realized he was saying, he felt zero percent commited to his sentence
i was wondering how they would play aziraphale not being able to speak french in the bastille and they opted to have him stutter a bit and say to his executionner « excuse me i’m anxious » XD
« vous êtes le 999e aristo à mourir par mes soins. Mais vous êtes le premier en costume beige » « you’re the 999th aristocrat I’m going to kill, but the first one in beige attire » yeah i guess now that az isn’t english anymore his most noticeable feature is his cream aesthetic
« c’est au cas où ça tournerait en eau de boudin » « j’ADORE le boudin » => « in case it all goes pear shape » - the literal translation featuring food in french is « turning into black sausage water ». I don’t know what pear shaped inspires to english native speakers but the mere mention of boudin always make me giggle, it’s such a funny word and such a funny food
OH !!! no terrence rampa for the tv series, we’ve got anthony J. rampa. Rip terrence petit démon parti trop tôt :’(
« tu roules trop vite pour moi rampa » SERIOUSLY i know we can still infer « rouler » (here as in driving, but literally rolling) as a metaphor for their relationship but you could have said TU VAS TROP VITE that would have been so much better argh
has anathema got an emergency stock of potteries to break in case of emotionnal crisis ?
« Rampa, un démon très futé, il m’oblige à redoubler d’effort » « crowley, a very clever demon, he forces me to make double the amount of effort » oh so admitting you’re making an effort there aziraphale ? :))))))
dang i really want to know how shadwell said that major milk bottle died because not only did he die in combat but aziraphale’s reaction is a bit intense, it must have been quite a tale (this could be a crack fic prompt : «The Epic Tale of the Death Of Major Witchfinder Milk Bottle, by Sargent Witchfinder Shadwell» )
des sorcières et des phénomènes sorciéreux x)
CROWLEY CALLED AZIRAPHALE DUCON ?????? EXCUSE ME ????? #NotMyCrowley #CrowleyWouldNeverDoThat  #CancelAnthonyJRampa2K20  => ducon would be an insult, the gathering of du and con, con being a very nasty but common swear word, and associating it with du- makes it extremely patronizing. it’s like « absolute pathetic digraceful moron +++ ». thanks i hate it *frowny face *
EP 4
l’apocalypse c’est pour aujourd’hui juste après le goûter : it could be translated as « apocalypse is scheduled for today right after tea time » except that « goûter » is not quite tea time but rather the little sugary snack kids take when they come back from school and that most adults drop out of (i haven’t and i’m sure az hasn’t either). thanks aziraphale for having exclusively food related notion of the time because tbh same
ligur has no right to be this sexy between ariyon bakare and his french voice actor that’s just not allowed
radio crowley’s voice vs french ligur’s voice, who has the sexiest voice : FIGHT
(jk french agnes nutter’s voice is by far the sexiest)
gender neutral doesn’t ‘quite’ exist in french but pollution has been assigned a female voice actress and masculine pronouns (i’m saying it doesn’t quite exist because officially we have no gender neutral, but it’s a serious wip among lgbt+ circles to the point where it’s started being used in a few medias)
hastur « en attendant qu’un plombier vienne » / « while waiting for a plumber to come » does hell have a special plumber unit or do demons have to call on human plumbers for their pipes damages ? Dang hastur having to call a human plumber for hell’s plumbery is another damn good writing prompt for a crack fic
Michael is called Michel in the subtitles but Michael in the audio *shrug emoji*
EP 5
to get a wiggle on has become « il faut qu’on se remue les fesses », literally « we need to shake our butts » like, yes, se remuer les fesses is a common expression to say « we need to act in order to get things done » but it really casts the image of people shaking their booty to some music and obviously crowley thinks the same Weirdly enough I have almost nothing to say for that episode. Sorry. But we’ve discovered most voice actors and actresses so far and no bit of dialogue really struck me as worth discussing or pointing fingers to mock it.
EP 6
« on va BROUTER quelques derrières » - « we’re gonna lick some butts » OK THIS IS UNQUESTIONNABLY FAR SUPERIOR IN FRENCH THAN IN ENGLISH you thought LICKING butts was good ??? you really thought that ???? AZIRAPHALE HERE SUGGESTS TO GRAZE BUTTS. TO NIBBLE THEM. TO EAT THEM. TO. MUNCH. ON. THOSE. BUTTS!!!! not just licking, guys. This is as serious step beyond licking. (oh yeah he should have said « botter » instead of brouter btw, which is really just kicking, fyi)
« moi je crois en la paix, pétasse ! » wow, language, pepper (fyi i think « pétasse » is far far worse than « bitch » even if it means roughly the same, pétasse is almost never used while bitch is rather common, so it’s a swear word +++)
Dagon sounds like she’s got a nasty cold. #GetDagonIbuprofen2K20
I can confirm that Crowley offers Aziraphale to not just stay at his place, but to move in with him. « tu peux t’installer chez moi si tu veux ». omg they were roommates.
Bad translation strikes again : i don’t know why, but the french dub doesn’t have the « tickety-boo » / « ça gaze » being referenced as Rampa / Aziraphale is being knocked down, which is… a real mistep. It was narratively significant and I’m quite mad the translators missed it.
The Jesse James explanation from Newt has become very nonsensical, instead of the neat and to the point pun « wherever I go I hold up trafic » we’re getting a circonvoluted « because it’s a crime to mechanic’s diligence ». I’m not judging that one too hard, I have no idea how to make it better, and that’s probably how it was translated in the book as well thirty years ago, but it definitely doesn’t have the same impact. On the other hand, it definitely IS a very bad joke that doesn’t even deserve a chuckle, so Anathema’s embarassement really matches the audience’s (aka mine).
OVERALL :
I wasn’t convinced by Crowley… I mean, Rampa’s voice at first, but as the nerdiness showed up it really grew on me. I still think that french dubs have often problems with some voice inflexions every here and there, and for instance in Rampa’s case it was when he was annoyed or frustrated ( at the Globe when complaining about horses and Shakespeare’s plays that aren’t comedies, and also when discussing Azirphale’s magic tricks, it’s like… there is a step between having the right amount of grumpy complaining and overdoing it that is overlooked. It’s overacted, it should have been a bit quieter imo. I don’t mean to criticize voice actors too hard either but as an audience watching french dubs this is a very recurring problem and it always feels off to me. It’s actually one of the main reasons I avoid french dubs whenever possible.)
I have a hard time judging Aziraphale’s voice dub because it clashes so much with both the idea I had formed with it when I read the book and Sheen’s delivery that I just… kinda filtered it. It was too high pitched for me, and too anxious (though for this last point I must admit it could be funny at times, but I’m not fond of this character portrayal). The rest of the cast was rather good, nothing to complain about. There wasn’t anything stellar either, but everything that needed to be conveyed was and it was professionnal. It was also very homogeneous, no voice really struck me as being way too bad or way too good compared to the others, so it was really consistant.
So I don’t have much to complain about overall despite a few wonky translations here and there, BUT there is one thing I felt very robbed of : Crowley calling Aziraphale « mon ange » happens only once, when giving a lift to Anathema, and I’m almost certain they translated it that way because otherwise the joke about Anathama mistaking them for a couple wouldn’t work. So, they were forced to make it that way. The rest of the time Crowley calls Aziraphale « l’angelot », and despite being literally translated by « little angel », it feels sarcastic more than anything else ( the « L’ » in front of « angelot » is part of the reason why, it creates some distance, the other reason being that this word in itself has a very corny vibe and people being affectionnate to each other wouldn’t use it as a term of endearment). So, that’s a shame.
I like the English dub much much MUCH better than the French, but the french wasn’t nearly as bad as I was expecting it to be. The voice actors and actresses were quite good, the dialogues mostly faithful and endearing despite a few really missed steps. It really had its moments. Props to brouter des derrières, that one was fantastic.

Daði Freyr ft. Don Tox - Heyri ekki (Can’t Hear) - transcript/translation
This song, requested by anon, is significantly rap in a mixture of French and English. I’m afraid I know maybe three entire sentences of French, so I could only transcribe the Icelandic portion; however, the fantastic okarynna has generously transcribed and translated those parts for me and even provided notes in the vein of what I do! Huge thanks for that.

DAÐI: Can't hear what you're saying That's fine, you know what I mean We didn't come here to chat We came here to dance
Can't hear what you're saying That's fine, you know what I mean We didn't come here to chat We came here to dance
okarynna's French transcription/translation notes
(Again, huge thanks to okarynna for providing these!)
I can now definitely sympathize with how difficult it is to transcribe rap parts, Don Tox gave me a run for my money! I will preface this with the fact that I am French-Canadian, and Don Tox sounds like a Frenchman to me, so I’m not 100% familiar with all the expressions he uses. He mixes in random English phrases as well as “verlan” (a French habit of speaking words backwards, so “fête” becomes “teuf”), so my this is my best try at interpretation.
“Teuf” is verlan for “fête”: party “Zarbi” is verlan for “bizarre”: weird
“On révèle tellement on regorge d’énergie” doesn’t make a lot of sense, as “révéler” means to uncover. But it may be an anglicism using the word “to revel in something”, so I went with that.
“On craque denordi” I’ve completely made this up but it’s all I can hear, and it sounds like it “denordi” could be verlan for “ordinaire”: normal. It’s worth noting he used the word “craque” which could also be “crack” as in the drug. Could be a regional thing. He does refer multiple times to partying and dancing feeling like a drug to him.
Yes, that is “McSort” or “McSpell” as is “McDonalds”.
As far as I’m aware “polir les pierres” is not an actual idiom, but it does sound to me like it could mean “polish the floor” as in you dance so hard that the floor shines.
“Nous on est plus forts à la pêche” literally means “we’re the best at fishing” which makes no sense here. However, “avoir la pêche” or “une pêche d’enfer” means to be in good shape, to have lots of energy, and that seems to fit in better. In both these idioms, the word “pêche” is actually the fruit, a peach.
“Les maux on les garde dans la tête” is a clever word play, because “maux de tête” means “headaches” and he says they gotta keep them in their heads.
In France “la crèche” is the kindergarten, the daycare for young children. I’m not sure what he’s getting at, probably that himself and whoever he’s talking to come from the same place?

So I couldn’t stop thinking about Joe & Nicky and Origin of Love, and that spiraled into a MIKA-specific playlist because that’s just the kind of gay I am. Enjoy!
It can be shuffled, of course, but the song order forms a narrative structure as well. Selected lyrics are under the cut for anyone interested!
Playlist title comes from the live performance of Lollipop where the lyrics were changed to "but now I'm 32 years old / and all that bullshit I was told / I lived my life and love was found / and love never let me down"
*I personally did not do any of the translating for the French or Italian, but please let me know if there’s an error that should be corrected! Click the titles for the full song translations!
Any Other World:
Take a bow, play the part of a lonely, lonely heart / Say goodbye to the world you thought you lived in, to the world you thought you lived in
I tried to live alone / But lonely is so lonely, alone / So, human as I am / I had to give up my defenses
Overrated:
Words get broken, cut me open / Love confound me, kill me quickly / Breathe out, breathe in / Throw me living off the deep end while I’m sleeping / I'm a crazy fool, I'm a fool addicted / To the touch of you, to your poison kisses / What you got to lose? / What do you think this is?...
Offered up my wrist, and you thought you hit it / But your arrow missed, couldn’t kill me with it / All I asked of you was to free my pain / So you couldn’t do this to me again
Heroes:
It's your blood on me / And my blood on you / But to make you bleed / The only thing I wouldn't do...
We fight, we yearn / We never learn / And through it all / The hero falls
I wish there was a way / To give you a hand to hold / 'Cause you don't have to die in your glory / Die, to never grow old
Porcelain:
It's a small cry that is screaming inside / It's a paper cut that is bleeding me dry / Porcelain, it's the state that I'm in / Hold me carefully, just one breath could shatter me
'Cause you and I, were one of a kind, unbreakable / How was I supposed to find / Out that I'd crumble
I Went To Hell Last Night:
I went to hell last night / Followed you there, I was standing by your side / The saddest thing I've ever seen / Made me angrier than I've ever been / But in the darkest place, a saving grace / After all we've been through / Though it kills me to say this / There's a little bit of God in you…
And one day you will see / Part of you is part of me / There's a little bit of God in everything
L’amour Fait Ce Qu’il Veut:
Pour ce salaud [For this bastard] / Je fais le tour de la terre [I go all around the world] / Jusqu'au Congo [To Congo] / Je m'enfuis dans le désert du Sahara [I flee into the Sahara Desert] / Tout en haut du sommet de l'Himalaya [Way up high from the Himalayan peak] / Sur la lune, à Cuba [To the moon, to Cuba]
Mais l'amour fait ce qu'il veut, fait ce qu'il veut de moi [But love does what it wants, does what it wants with me] / Mais l'amour, baby blue, fait ce qu'il veut de nous [But love, baby blue, does what it wants with us]
I See You:
I'm sitting across from you / I'm dreaming of the things I'd do / I don't speak, you don't know me at all / For fear of what you might do / I say nothing but stare at you / And I'm dreaming, I'm tripping over you
Truth be told, my problems solved / You mean the world to me but you'll never know / You could be cruel to me / Why go risking the way / That I see you?...
I'm standing across from you / I've dreamt alone, now the dreams won't do
Talk About You:
Walk through the jungle that used to be my town / Everything's different, you've turned it upside down / It happened to me, totally unprepared / Just the beginning, but I'm not even scared / ‘Cause living like this is risking all that I know / And if it kills me, that's the way I want to go
Domani:
Cercherò una scusa per sentirmi fragile [I'll try to find an excuse to feel fragile] / Perché tu mi fai paura e non lo so nascondere [Because you scare me and I can't hide it] / Il cuore ha sempre ciò che vuole [The heart always has what it wants] / Ma io vorrei soltanto i graffi sulla schiena [But I just want the scratches on my back] / Nudi nel retrovisore [Naked in the rear-view mirror] / In macchina io e te con la radio accesa [You and me in the car with the radio on]...
Pensiamo troppo al domani [We think too much about tomorrow] / Ma oggi siamo qui e non ci troviamo più [But today we are here we no longer find ourselves] / Chissà cosa sarà domani [Who knows what tomorrow might bring] / Non vedo il panorama resti solo tu [I don't see the view, just you]
Feels Like Love:
Baby, look at us / Any fool could see / I was made for you / And you were made for me / Okay, tell me no / And we could play that game / Waste a lot of time, but still feel the same
We could walk away / And just like others would / Or we live our lives / Like we know we should / 'Cause it feels like / Yes, it feels like love...
This is how it is, after just one kiss / Do you really think I'm inventing this? / 'Cause it feels like love to me
Tiny Love:
I couldn't train a bunch of doves to spell your name / It's a 'don't-know-what-they're-missing' kind of love
Our kind of love, it gets better every day / Crazy colors in the grey, our love / Tiny love, it's a tiny love...
Oh, tiny love / So small that you can't find us / The world revolves around us / Oh, tiny love / This kind of love, it can't be no other way / One kind of love blows the other ones away
Step With Me:
Is this happening to me? / Have I lost all my defenses? / Should I wait around and see / What it's like to lose my senses? / Always looking for the chase / From the high ground to the ditches / But the chase I'll never miss / Now I know what happiness is...
Sun is shining up ahead / In 30 years we'll still be happy / Making movies in my head / Making Hollywood look tiny / Don't know why but all your words / Sound just like a melody / From the pieces that I've heard / I could build a symphony
Boum Boum Boum:
Pas la peine d'aller cavaler [An escapade isn't needed] / Y’a que ça qui m’fait voyager [This is what makes me travel] / Pas les cocotiers de Tulum [Not the coconut palms of Tulum] / Quand toi et moi on fait boum boum boum [When you and I are making boom boom boom]
Et tous les bourgeois du seizième [And all the sixteenth's bourgeois] / Se demandent pourquoi je t'aime [Wonder why I love you] / Pour le voir pas besoin d'un zoom [To see it, they don't need a zoom] / Quand toi et moi on fait boum boum boum [When you and I are making boom boom boom]
Sanremo:
If I could, I know where I'd be / In a little town in Italy / Close your eyes, come away with me / Tomorrow we will be / Sitting by the seaside / Drinking up the sunshine / You're here, so why don't we go / Dancing in Sanremo? / We could be there in a couple of hours / To the place with the yellow flowers / Somewhere only we know / Sunset in Sanremo
To feel like this / Is one in a million / A suspended moment / Can we seal it with a tender kiss?
Sound Of An Orchestra:
You don’t even know everything I hear / Every move, every note, every time you’re near / If I close my eyes, promise I can see / A hundred people playing and it’s just for me / I can hear it, I can hear it, I can hear it, I swear / All the music you’re provoking, filling up the air
Tiny Love (Reprise):
This tiny love, it might be small / But it's the greatest of them all / This tiny love would disappear / You can't forget that it was here / We are tiny to the world, but in our hearts / We are giants with our tiny, tiny love…
And if it all goes bad / And our love sets like the sun / I'd give up a hundred thousand loves / For just this one
Origin Of Love:
You are the sun and the light / You are the freedom I fight / God will do nothing to stop it / The origin is you / You’re the origin of love...
Like every word that you preach / Like every word that you teach / With every rule that you breach / You know the origin is you
From the air I breathe, to the love I need / Only thing I know, you're the origin of love / From the God above, to the one I love / Only thing that's true, the origin is you...
Your love is air, I breathe it in around me / Don't know it's there, but without it I'm drowning
Love, you're the origin of love / (thank God that you found me)

Fauve Mini Series 1/3 - Tom Hiddleston : Rub a Dub
Pairing : Tom Hiddleston x POC Plus Size Reader
Word Count : 2k
A/N : Fic based on the song “Rub a Dub” by the French band Fauve. The lyrics are partly translated in Tom’s dialogue. I hope you’ll like it, it’s kinda out of my comfort zone to write something so fluffy.

Hey!
You looked at the crowd, a slight frown crossing your features, looking for your boyfriend. You saw one of his friends pass by you and asked for him, "Have you seen Tom?". But before he could answer, Tom's melodic voice was heard across the room. You turned your head towards the source and saw him standing in the middle of the stage, a mic in front of him. Soon after, the first notes of one of your favorite songs resonated across the room.
"Hey, excuse me. Can I take two minutes to talk with you?", he began and you gasped once realizing that he translated the lyrics from the French song in English. "It won't take long, I promise. After that, I'm done", he smiled. Your best friend indicated you the front seat and you shyly sat down, mouth agape. ‘What are you doing?’, you mouthed to him to which he smiled brightly. "I needed to tell you something and I know myself, if I don't do it now, I'll chicken out and would regret it", he stated like the original lyrics.
"Here it is : I can't stop getting you out of my thoughts. I don't know how to say it otherwise but at the same time, you know what I'm talking about. I'm sorry that it's so straightforward but we only have one life and it's a short and fragile one. Besides I rather have remorses than regrets.” He took a small break, his eyes locked with yours, nothing and no one else important anymore. "I don't know where this comes from, I can't tell you and you will probably think I'm crazy but I have those flashes in my head. Images going over and over and I need to have to know. I see ourselves slowly dancing on a rub a dub. You dropping sweet nothings on the crock of my neck, our eyes piercing at one another. I see us watching the sunrise together, walking side by side to a pub, have a drink and flee the scene without paying. I see us shot pictures of the comets and make love with wide open windows", he chanted with a wide grin. You heard the audience laugh and holler at the last part of the phrase and you couldn't help yourself into joining them.
"I'm not gonna lie, I'm not the best looking out there because I'm unsound, liar, not reliable, never on time but if you'd want I can be a boxer, pilot, driver, doctor, maid or a lion tamer. I won't trick you, I know you can find better. I'm nervous, selfish, quick-tempered but for you I can be happy, polite, generous. Write songs less pessimist and even write love songs." He chuckled at the next part of his text, "It's funny because in one hand I feel ridiculous to tell you all of this and in the other I feel relived. I can't realize the luck I have right now, to have such powerful feelings for another being. It's life changing, I don't think you understand. I have the feeling I’m not the same person anymore, like I've been hangover for the past 2 years and I finally woke up. Two years hangover, that's a long time". You smiled widely, your eyed beginning to tear, all the love you felt for him creep up and vibrate in your soul.
"Again, I don't know where this all come from, I can't explain it to you. It's been so long since it happened to me and then 'bam' it just hits me. I would always spend my time with someone and then move on. I know this sounds creepy but yeah, I'm like everyone else what can I say? But now I see us dancing in slow-motion to a rub a dub, our bodies close. We look deeply at each other's eyes and to end up running naked with flushed faces to the nearest river. Shooting pictures of Jupiter and making love under the thunder. I won't lie to you, I'm not the best in the market. I'm unsound, liar, not reliable and never on time but for you I can be a vampire, a spy or a king of Asgard." You laughed at his smart addition about some of the characters he played in the big screen.
"Even if I know that I'm far from being perfect, I want us to try cause something beautiful could come out of it. Even if you see that I'm not the one for you, whenever you're sad at night, anything, call me. I will always be there for you, I promise. I'm not going away." He slowly marched towards you and asked for your hand, to which you gladly took. You crushed your bodies together, slowly dancing along the final notes of the song. Your silent tears rolling down your face, while he continued to mouther the rest of the lyrics and while you followed along by citing them in French.
"I love you", you whispered in his ear and felt him smiling next to your neck. "I don't want you to mislead all of this, I'm not gonna ask you to marry me and of course, I don't want to force you into being together. But I want you to believe me when I tell you that what I feel is not a one night thing. I'm not another asshole that wants just to sleep with you, the only thing I ask you is not to put me in the same box as them. I leaving you at peace now. I'm sorry I talk to much and you don't have to answer just yet but in the meantime I won't move out of your life. I will always be here for you. Good night ", he finished the song. The room erupted in cheers and Tom took your cheeks in his hands, "Hey love", while he cleaned the leaking tears of your face. You crashed your lips with his in a needy and passionate kiss, pouring all your love for him.
"I guess that's a little to late for the wedding proposal. Ladies and Gentlemen, make a huge applause for Mr and Mrs Hiddleston.  And now let's rock this wedding." You and Tom chuckled at the Dj's words and soon the guests reached the dancefloor and let their bodies express for themselves along the music's rhythm. "I love you so much and you're perfect", you told him. He captured your lips again in a breathtaking kiss and hummed in content. "And I love you Y/N Hiddleston."
