He seemed shocked to see a woman on the ship, but also intrigued. Mostly intrigued.

He had a busted lip and bloody knuckles and you had a hard time keeping in your disapproval for the infighting. “Problem, miss?” Tom spoke up, a smirk already playing at his lips as he watched you clean up his wounds intently.

You shook your head, avoiding his eyes. “No problem here, sir. Just find it a bit counterproductive to pick a fight with someone on the same side as you.”

After that day, Tom kept coming back, not even because of the fights sometimes. It was like this almost everyday, always around the same time. He must’ve been on a break or something at those times because it was like clockwork. Tom shrugged with a smirk, smoking a cigarette as he watched you. “I wish. I’ve got a nice view.”

“Thank you for your prompt visit, Mr. Bennett. Now leave me be, I have to make sure I’m not distracted whenever another sailor comes in.”

“You do know that some of the men are getting hurt on purpose just to see you, right?”

“Maybe.���  He hummed in disapproval, but you only smirked. “It’s not like you don’t do the exact same thing, Mr. Bennett. You are an arsehole but I never took you for a hypocrite.”

Tom scowled. “Yeah, well, I’m not like any one of these bastards. They think they actually have a chance with you when they clearly don’t.”

“I could ask you the same thing.” He entered your office, closing the door behind him, taking a seat on your desk.

“Do you have an injury that needs tending to, Mr. Bennett?”

“No.”

“Then would you kindly leave my office?” You stood up from your seat, marking your place in the book and putting it back on a shelf behind you.

You could hear the man let out a short chuckle from behind you. “Giving me the cold shoulder, eh?”

He hesitated. “I’m…glad.”

thank you for talking about how annoying sunnytwt has been lately. i literally feel crazy reading some of these people’s opinions… for some reason in the last few weeks there’s been an uptick of people completely misunderstanding the characters

I jump on the chance to blame Tiktok all the time, but considering how many people recently admit they started watching Sunny because they saw Macdennis Tiktok edits.. that is the leading cause here. And I love a fun ship edit as much as the next guy, but it seems like Macdennis edits and random out of context clips (and probably tweets that leave the neighbourhood too) are bringing people into the fandom under the guise that everything we discuss here is woobification headcanons and fanon, because bingeing the show once-through with your phone in your face doesn’t give you an even remotely-close understanding of the depth and complexity wrapped into every episode of Sunny, and I’m sure is actually extremely offputting.

There is a reason Sunny is seen as a cult show and only averages around 300k viewers every season.. Many people just genuinely don’t like or enjoy, let alone understand, the kind of dark humour, commentary, and heavy meta the show (and the relationships in the show) revolves around. A chunk of new Sunny Twitter users clearly got really into Macdennis/one of the characters and then got hit with the cold hard reality of what the show is, and instead of recognising Sunny isn’t for them and bowing out, they strapped on extreme woobification goggles to still enjoy what they were introduced to via fanon as if it's all canon.

Now it seems like half the active fandom, if not more, exist this way and don’t understand that the characters are never going to be good people and the relationships are always going to be fucked up and toxic, and the central theme will always be about abuse and that’s the point and that we like that

And this isn't me just assuming these things, but that myself and others continually try to engage with new people who show signs of not understanding this concept by explaining how and why the things they’re complaining about happened in canon and why those things are actually true to who the characters are and genuinely, every time, we end up getting privately quoted if not blocked.. lmao

It still took awhile for this issue to seep in bc those Tim fans (you know the ones) are certainly a minority, but I just don’t think you can be a Damian fan for longer than a few months without getting frustrated.

Nowadays I refuse to read anything tagged with any variation of “Tim Drake angst” that features the batfam. Timkon fics are usually just fine though.

Actually— recently? Shit’s been bothering me so bad that I don’t wanna risk reading fics that have Tim in the first relationship tag at all. He’s gotta at most be in the second one. Ship fics are again an exception, but I don’t tend to seek out ship fics much anyway.

But, like I said, I usually keep it to myself. Every time i catch myself venting in the tags I either screenshot the tags and delete, or I delete and retype them. I put them into a private notes document. I also journal in there a lot instead of posting it.

That document is pretty long.

I do wanna say that there’s nothing wrong with what tim fans are doing. It is fun to woobify your fave. It’s fun to prop them up and tear others down and make everything about your blorbo and it is harmless. I do it too (usually in my daydreams). It’s a fantasy, and that’s what fanfiction is for. People who act like it’s “problematic” are wrong. That doesn’t mean it’s not annoying. Because it is. It’s annoying as all fuck.

Also wanna mention that I once read a damian fic that like... started off with some delicious whump, but then it turned into a whole Damian pity party and it guilt tripped all his friends and family. Damian IS my blorbo and I couldn’t read that. I didn’t even know who Maps was at the time but it seemed so bizarre to throw her under the bus. Anyway I feel like that’s what a quite large portion of Tim fic is like except a bit less extreme.

I used to tell myself that “ohhh it’s just a rivalry. I’m sure Tim fans get the same shit in reverse all the time” but I literally NEVER see it in the other direction and spend the most of my time in Damian circles. The only time I see tim hate from damian fans is frustration at those particular fans in response to it or in response to favoritism of authors.

It’s actually funny how most of the stuff in anti tags is polarized hate shitting on the character with a lot of bad takes, but in tims anti tag it was almost exclusively frustration from Damian and Jason fans, and usually pretty mild takes. Also people calling Tim boring.

And I agree on the fact that this is stupid considering Penny was important to Ruby, and IS still important despite being gone. And I also completely agree on the fact that Ruby probably had feelings for her and never got the chance to understand them and to realize what she felt, this is THE tragic yuri ever I will never shut up about these two-- So yeah it's pretty dumb considering Ruby was lashing out because she bottled up, kept everything to herself for so long, she exploded to the people who had found happiness right in front of her. The relationship isn't the issue for Ruby here, it's the whole situation, her sister is able to be happy with Blake while Ruby falls more and more into despair and isn't able to protect anyone. I just wanted to say I was one of those curious, openminded fans willing to entertain the idea of samjohn (mostly bc deanjohn feels so congruent with canon + there’s so much interesting meta on it that managed to convert me + incestuous households usually affect all of it’s members) but just like you said I was immediately put off by the blatant character assassination that pervades everything from fics to edits to the propaganda in that incest poll lmao.

I guess that’s the major difference - deanjohn requires little to no stretching of imagination bc it already fits seamlessly into canon, whereas samjohn almost demands ooc shenanigans to work.

I also just found the way fans talk about it nauseating for some reason, though that’s likely more of a reflection of my own personal triggers. when i first joined fandom, the few j/s fics were straightforward evil!john non-con. not my thing, but i understood why it was written that way. then came the inexplicably popular fandom creation of "sexkitten sam" which continues to pollute the entire sam/dean fandom and of course extends to other ships too. i'm not even gonna get started on why that's "problematic" because that's not the point, it's not remotely in character. even as an exaggeration sam is not the kind of person to attempt to find agency in outward submission or objectification. he's very vocally not compromising his identity to please his family and especially john. dean is more like that so when you have sam acting like a fetishized pinterest aesthetic moodboard version of dean and dean acting like an old man from wattpad i'm understandably left squinting at the screen. then it's genderswapping sam and using that as a personality eraser because women are automatically submissive and naive and trad?

who is being converted by all this when it has nothing to do with sam, john or even dean? where is dean in all this actually? a core aspect of their family is that dean is closest to both sam and john who rarely had much opportunity to bond without him. there was a distance between sam and john throughout sam's childhood and adolescence. most of his parental needs were being fulfilled by dean even if that was never enough. their situation with their father wasn't the average one where they were simply 2 kids fighting for his attention.

for the most part j/s appears to be about "envying" dean's position in the family. it's about diminishing or straight up erasing dean and more notably about feminizing sam. either directly or otherwise. people generally seem to have big issues with the fact that sam is a man and confidently so. most of the annoying tropes in wincest fandom have this at their core. and of course in order for sam to be "the woman" dean needs to genuinely and authentically be the most stereotypical of cishet men. it's very transparent because right from the start the show poked holes at dean's performance of masculinity. it was very much the point. dean's gender issues could fill a book yet any alternative interpretation of sam and gender seeks to cast dean as the oppressive bigot who would never get it? stopping here before i get off topic but to make myself clear: in theory i respect headcanons i don't understand, but not when they spitefully exist to deny dean's depth in every possible way.

to return to my point about dean's pseudo spouse and mother position being enviable, it misses the point of how harmful john's parenting was to both of them. it's no coincidence that they both view themselves as the unfavorite. dean believes he's taken for granted, only valued for what he can give, how well he can perform his roles, how successfully he could play at being an adult even before he hit double digits. dean can't just exist and be himself while sam is uncompromisingly himself. because of that he believes john doesn't like him, never liked him, rejected him, didn't have time for him, didn't trust him enough with the family secrets, even when those secrets directly concerned him. as of season 1 he still has contempt for dean for what he views as unquestioning obedience to john and letting himself be molded by john. dean had to fight for every scrap of approval and affection and sam refused to do the same if it meant sacrificing his own needs and identity. not everyone reacts to abuse the same way and both characters are very much shaped by their different reactions to their environment. and any j/s shipper argument that is built on the idea that sam was the one john loved more is not only gleefully mocking dean's parentification but ignoring that sam being comparatively sheltered and treated like a son is yet another reason why john would not cross such a line with him. dean "gets it", dean lost mary too, dean is his partner and his confidant, dean can handle adult responsibilities, dean is loving and supportive, dean isn't making him confront his parenting failures, dean can't say no to him. like you said, it doesn't at all stretch the imagination to make j/d fit into dean's backstory. "you are not a child" - "i never was".

as i have been saying, any remotely ic exploration of j/s would have to follow both j/d and s/d. i can't believe in a universe where j/s is the only incest that happens in the family. i think a theoretical plausible j/s fic would have to not only accept but embrace its adjacency to the 2 ships that are compliant with the canon. but whether sam knows for a fact about j/d or not, there's no way he isn't severely impacted by the proximity to that relationship in a number of ways and that's a very compelling dynamic in its own right.

I swear fics that age Steve up into his 20's in s3/4 is almost always done for two reasons. The first is to make him seem stupid, like he'd been held back, possibly multiple times as it is canon that he graduated just prior to season 3. Echo let out a low sigh and turned slowly to look at Tech, who was sitting innocently on a crate next to the array of tools being used to fix the haul of the Marauder. The goggle wearing clone tipped his head to the side in question at the ex-ARC trooper’s glare.

Echo exhaled a slow breath to mentally prepare himself, then asked, “What are you doing?” 

“What are you doing?” Tech said back, head tilting upright again to stare Echo dead-on.

Echo’s gaze only narrowed further. “Tech.”

“Tech.”

“Why are you copying me?”

Echo pinched the skin between his eyes tiredly, he was running on too little sleep for this. The missions lately had been hectic and he was not getting enough rest to be diplomatically understanding of anyone’s bantha shit. “Tech, I’d rather not play games right now.”

Alright. It was going to be one of those days.

Tech, while typically quite independent and self-reliant, could have moments where he actively seeked out attention from his other squad members. Instead of just asking like a normal individual, Tech did things the complicated way. He would bait his brothers into light-hearted squabbles by acting like the biggest shithead in the cosmos, indulging his more impish and chaotic side accordingly. Tech knew how to press everyone’s buttons, pestering for long enough and saying the right things that would get a rise out of the other clones and score him the attention he wanted. The Bad Batch all had their ways of dealing with these moments from Tech, but this was the first time Echo had to deal with it himself. Whenever Tech acted like this, the others were around to handle him, but they were all out in town, leaving Echo with the mission of managing the younger clone.

Trying to mimic a stern clone officer from his earlier years as a shiny, he pointed the hexdriver at Tech’s nose with an annoyed look. “Alright, smart ass,” he grumbled. “I’m warning you.”

Tech had a shit-eating grin on his face, not even waiting a second to consider the threat of Echo actually being serious. “Alright, smart ass,” he chirped smugly, “I’m warning-”

Echo grabbed Tech around the middle and wrestled him onto the ground without warning, fighting off a smile at the man’s strangled yelps, clearly trying to hold his tongue from protesting so he could keep the game going. Though, that didn’t keep him from fighting back.

“Do you really want to continue this, Tech? I used to be an ARC trooper, remember?” Echo, even with one hand missing, was easily keeping his brother down. He used to wrestle with his old batch all the time and he’d seen Crosshair take down Tech enough times to know how to do it himself. It almost felt unfair. However…

Tech grinned up at his brother through their tangled arms. “Want to continue this, Tech? I used to be an ARC trooper, remember?” He shot back gleefully, putting on a voice to match Echo’s tone inflections. 

“Son of a-” Without hesitation, Echo’s scomp link gently delved into Tech’s ribcage, mercilessly needling into the tender bones and earning peals of startled laughter. Tech wriggled into the dirt fruitlessly, trying to bat at Echo’s scomp, only to have a wrist snatched up and the mechanical limb prodding into his unshielded armpit, producing a sharp squeal instantly.

Tech never would’ve anticipated Echo to use such outlandish methods like this. He got this from Wrecker and occasionally Hunter, but the cybernetic clone was an outlier to be sure. And not only was he an outlier, but he was also really skilled at this. Tech was spluttering and giggling like a madman, and it hadn’t even been a minute yet. His lack of speech had caught Echo’s attention, and the smirk on his face was downright smug. 

“What? You run out of steam, copycat?” Echo asked as Tech gasped and wheezed for breath. “No more little comments?”

“Y-Yohou ruhuhun ohout- hehehehe- ohohof steheheHEHEAM-!” 

Tech’s attempt to continue the joke was interrupted by Echo’s finding a sweet spot on his upper ribs, causing an uncharacteristic screech to pull from the usually stoic clone. “St-Stohohop!”

“Oh my word, did you say something original?” Echo feigned surprise, though his tone was flat and somehow made Tech laugh even more by the dryness of the comment. “Incredible, let’s see if I can get you to do it again.”

He probed and wormed his scomp into the spaces between Tech’s ribs in an unguessable pattern, keeping the enhanced clone in a flurry of giggles and never letting him get used to one sensation. The onslaught was breaking Tech’s will faster than he expected it to. 

He yelped when a particularly sensitive rib was prodded and tickled by that damn scomp. He couldn’t stop the yelp from leaving his lips. “Ehehecho!”

“Look at that, you did do it again. Congratulations Tech.”

“DohoHOHON’T!”

“Three times, a breakthrough indeed. 

Tech used his free hand to grab the scomp link, shoving it away from his ribs so he could get a breather in. Echo let him, having heard the gasping in Tech’s voice increasing as he’d been laughing. 

“You learned your lesson yet, gremlin?” Echo asked, reminded distinctly of his play fights with his twin and asking that very same question. Tech blew out a breath, slumping in the ground and nodding.

Echo wasn’t buying the silence.

He tore his captured scomp from Tech and poised it at his ribs again, smirking at the wild yelp that burst from Tech as he flinched away from the ‘danger’.

“I wanna hear it, Tech,” said the ex-ARC trooper. “I want you to say, in your own words, that you’ve learnt your lesson.”

Tech, eyeing the scomp link dangerously close to his sensitive ribs, gave a nervous giggle and gulped. He knew better than to poke the disgruntled Tonton with a stick, or however that saying went. “I- I’ve lehearn’t my lesson, Ehecho,” he grinned at the older clone through squinted eyes.

Echo huffed an amused laugh at how giggly Tech still was. “There we go, that wasn’t so hard was it?” He took his hand away from Tech’s wrist to mess with his short, cropped hair and stood up. “What on earth was that even about?” 

He turned back to the ship and picked up another tool to continue his work, letting Tech sit up and gather himself after the ‘attack’. The enhanced clone gave a small chuckle and smiled mischievously up at Echo’s back. His need for attention wasn’t done yet. 

“Well… You’re the one repeating things all the time, guess I wanted to try it out for myself.”

Echo’s movements froze and his eyelid twitched slightly. He threw the tool aside and was diving at Tech before the trooper had the sense to run for the hills, his bright laughter filling the air once again. This time riddled with shrieks as Echo ruthlessly targeted his upper ribs, both with his scomp and his hand.

MAN- Because like I actually did really use to enjoy /r tntduo fuck man I was shipping it back in October 17th 2020 after the moment in the button room and especially after the famous Niki's birthday stream like- idk I just liked the dynamic and the chemistry it was fun! I was even still shipping it when I first started getting really into the c!fiances and was hyped when Wilbur and Quackity met up again... but then. IDK- something about the fandom take on their dynamic just didn't click with me it didn't feel like the same characters I enjoyed ESPECIALLY IN REGARDS TO THE WAY C!QUACKITY WOULD GET TREATED- like GIRL- Quackity would not cave and be visibly annoyed or flustered by the first jab Wilbur makes hello-??? or the fanart that would portray Wil as like completely disregarding Q's personal space as this 'teehee funny flirty' thing like I HATED that shit- I also just hated how when I tried to look up c!fiances content I had to filter like 5 million tags to actually find what I was looking for because there'd be so many c!tnt fics that had the fiances tagged in them and 50% of the time it was just so Quackity could break-up with them for Wilbur 😭 I also just like got sick of seeing it everywhere when I wanted to find c!Q content it felt like it was inescapable and that people only cared for my favorite character solely to mischaracterize him in a ship I was quickly growing tired of... yeha I think that sums it up-

What made you ship it? Started for the fluff and stayed for the toxic ship 😈- GOD Quackity and Luzu fucking outdid themselves with Luckity in Karmaland V like dude it's just so good- like looking back on it the writing was already on the walls that they were so doomed from the very start- like they somehow manage to be both "it's tragic because it didn't have to end this way" and "it's tragic because it was always gonna end this way." if that makes sense. But god at the start it was just so easy to overlook the blaring the red flags because they'd give us just enough hope that it'd end well only for the rug to get pulled during the elections and the whole dynamic get's flopped on it's head but now instead of cute fluff or funny flirting it's this Angry passion and resentment- from start to end they were devoted to each other whether in hatred or in love. The build-up and payoff were both just amazing even if I felt miffed about the ending of the arc at first I've since come to love it because really it's just the cherry on top of their tragedy leaving the possibility they could just end up doing it all over again yeah <3 They were The Moment yeah!

What are your favorite things about the ship? A lot of things but like- I love that they're sun and moon coded <33333 I remember associating them with sun/moon imagery before they took those iconic photos with the sun and moon and like I was so hyped when that happened <3 my toxic sun/moon boys yeah <3

Whole different type of delusion that I see in this fandom is how helaemond shippers act. All they say is everyone should support Helaena cheating on her unfaithful husband because if you someone doesn't, it's misogynistic, but when you mention Alicent having sex with Criston in season 2 they are furious and say Alicent is not Rhaenyra to sleep around 😂

For them it's like helaemond makes sense because Helaena was smarter than Rhaenyra so no one knew Aemond's the father.

And then when you point out they behave exactly like daemyra stans they are surprised 😂

I knew Alys will be hated in fandom because of 2 things. By Blacks because she was better Queen at Harrenhall than Rhaenyra was for 6 months time and Alys have no supporters and no dragon and no Aemond by her side because he was dead then. And by Greens because she is the opposite of Alicent and Helaena who are stuck and doomed and living in the cage.

But the one truly doomed is in fact Alys. She is lowborn bastard and women, so she means nothing and can be used by her family as they please. And yet she survives and makes the best out of Dance. All without any political machinations, she just took power over Harrenhall and no one took it away from her. If this isn't the best character of this show I don't know who may be.

I think in general people in this fandom, and this is something I must remind myself as well, need to program their brains to stop relating every single thing that happens to a woman in this story to a man. Especially romantically

It is pretty clear that one major point at the base of hotd is patriarchy and how way men often use the girls/women in their lives as pawns or martyrs. Whether people think it was well done or not is their choice, but it is clearly there. That conversation I get, and think we need to have. But the way people are so hellbent on ‘pairing’ women in this story with someone, specifically men, can get exhausting.

Why is the most horrid thing that happens in the dance, something that fundamentally breaks Helaena as a person turned into an argument to either uplift/tear down Aegon or Aemond?? Why is her taking her own life out of grief and fear about her brother(s)???

Why does Alicent, someone who clearly has been through sexual trauma in her life at the hands of men - someone who already has creepy psychosexual relationships with men in her life, have to sleep with criston?? Hell, why does criston someone that’s been taken advantage of by nobility (depending on how you read that scene in ep 4) have to sleep with Alicent, his queen???

If Helaena wants to be unfaithful to her husband, I will support her bc Aegon is not a good husband lmao. But the idea she needs to be with her brother, and he had those kids with her is… very odd to me. I don’t see it and idc if that makes me a hater. In general, I think people’s insistence on taking one of the few targ characters that doesn’t have incest as a major footnote in his story (Aemond) and making him into someone he isn’t, is annoying.

People (rightfully) point out how horrible targaryen girls/women are treated but then perpetuate the one thing that has led to many targ women’s downfall: The idea that they are property to the men in their family.

As for alys, she was going to be hated on several reasons : 1. Ageism (people call show and book Alicent a hag despite show Alicent being in her 30s and book Alicent being in her 40s). 2. The fact that aemond is now the fandom fanfic bike aka he gets ridden/shipped with everyone and him having a canon love interest pisses people off. 3. Low born or bastard born women get treated very differently by the fanbase than their male counterparts. 4. The murky relationship between her and Aemond. Now as someone who is excited to see where they take alysmond, even I can understand why people may put off by it. First you have the age difference on the side of her taking advantage of him. Especially now that in the show it has been implied Aemond delt with his own s.a. But by the time they meet, Aemond is Prince Regent. Clearly in a position of power over her. It is dubious and it’s ok to point that out.

But I’m sure as hell not gonna be reprimanded by daemrya or helaemond shippers on that. They clearly don’t give a shit about what is above board 💀💀. At at the very least, every alysmond shipper I’ve personally come across is very open and clear about alys and Aemond’s relationship, and the possible stipulations. I can’t say the same for the other two camps.

Every woman in this story, nobility or low born, has been through shit. That’s the whole point and the bitch of patriarchy. It affects every woman to a certain degree. Of course someone like Rhaenyra or Alicent has lived a very different life than Alys, and that needs to pointed out. All women are not on equal playing field. But all of them have been trapped or stuck at one point or another. How these women maneuver this world is important because of how differently each live, which is why it is dumb when people advocate for their stories to be cut (Sara, nettles, alys). These characters being vehemently hated by ANYONE is weird asf to me.

I enjoy team green, I write for team green, but people take this ‘team’ stuff too seriously sometimes. Well.. when it comes to the women. The male characters can get it lmao. I personally don’t like the rhetoric around how most women in story get spoken about. People are so focused on whose winning or shipping that the point of the story gets lost. And frankly regurgitating the same points and arguments sucks the fun out a show…shame. If people hate everything about it or have to make up crazy theories for it to work… just don’t watch 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

im gonna be honest about my opinions on him so if you reeaaaaally like dylan i recommend not reading. and i mean that genuinely

1.ive just. i immediately saw dylan as one of those like male characters that get super popular in a fandom bc he: is white.is a guy. is a brunette. is associated w/ a gay ship. and is fit under a "bad boy / mentally ill / misunderstood" trope. i truly and honestly dont care if someone likes these types of characters. as long as you're not a fucking freak, i dont give a shit what you do. its just such a prominent trend that should make you go HMMMMM fandom hates women and people of color! and basically im just sick of that trend! so seeing dylan also fit into it turned me super off lmao

2. in relation to his character, i think its fine, i guess, its nothing revolutionary. especially in regards to other supermassive characters.... i thought about this during work one day and like. emily has a similar character to dylan LOL and ive had this thought before but. dylan and emma are also very similar character wise! in terms of like. compensating ina very negative way due to insecurity! but you know whch characters get the most flack for being dicks? for being bitches? for being the worst? and you know who doesnt?

3. i also particularly hated the thing he did to abi during the camp fire scene. like. i dont care if you compensate by making jokes and shit, you're still an asshole. and so is emma. and so is emily. i dont understnad why dylan should get ANY different treatment. but anyway, that dare was absolutely targeted towards abi and nothing will change my mind on the matter. abi is very clearly on the outside of the group. hell, the entire time everyone (mainly kaitlyn and emma) makes comments about how incompetent abi is when it comes to dating anf shit. and so for dylan to ask what he did? it put her on the fucking spot and humiliated her. i dont care if he "saves" it if you dont interrupt as ryan, there's absolutely no way hes unaware of abi's standing social wise in the group. him asking HER that of all people is just shitty. he fucking knows what abi's answer is gonna be. and even though she never answers the question, the damage is already done.

and before anyone says anything, i know nick also was targeted in diff ways for being "incompetent" in this specific sense. which is another conversation im willing to have. but even so, rthe comment ryan still makes bout not letting that "prep aesthetic fool you"? and the way he kisses emma? he clearly has got some "game" or whatever the fuck. whereas abi doesn't really have any of those moments (except for kissing nick first, which is something kaitlyn ryan and dylan said she wouldnt do LOL). and speaking of kaitlyn? and in association, emma? what they did to abi is one of the things i hate most about them and what happens in game. its actually what made me begin to DISLIKE both of them when it happened. basically what im saying is, kaitlyn and emma arent exempt from this criticism just because i dont like dylan. and i also dont care if thats the "point" of truth or dare. it still makes all the characters involved fucking dicks. they know how abi is like, emma especially, so seeing them all pull this shit is just disheartening and sad.

I'm interested in seeing your corn yaoi rant since I can't find it on you blog but I fully agree that this fanbase is a bit too focused on shipping since a lot of it just feels like they just want any wlw or mlm ship regardless of how much sense it would make for the characters? another big example of this is Ceroba x Martlet like I don't get how people do not realise pairing a woman with the widow of her father figure is a bit creepy? and very out of character for both of them? at least I've seen corn yaoi fans write them in a way that explores their character and helps them cope with their insecurities. yuri ship so bad even a lesbian hates it. on twitter a lot of the shipping also lowkey feels like a "who has the most cursed ship name" contest with some of those pairings.

I don’t consider ceroba/martlet anywhere near as annoying as crn yaoi tbh, because at least they actually have like, a canon dynamic to go off of. That being the fact they don’t see eye to eye on a lot of things, and have very contrasting worldviews in general that I think would be fun to explore. My only complaint is that the minimal stuff I do see w/ them doesn’t really play into the fact that their dynamic would probably be unhealthy lmao
