r.e. your to be deleted riize post - i absolutely agree but the problem is if you say anything like that on twitter the wonbin akgaes will jinja kill you :/ you say literally anything and they somehow make it about wonbin and how you hate him and think he deserves to step on legos or some shit ahshsjdjsj it's truly unbearable over there.....

the environment on there is so fascinating to me because somehow if you call him the second best vocalist seunghan's fans aren't supposed to be upset or call bullshit but if you call seunghan the second best vocalist it's automatically deemed wonbin slander. and the environment is so bad that you even have non-wonbin akgaes who seem to believe in this alleged vocal hierarchy rather than try to interrogate the reasoning behind it. i know the hiatus definitely exacerbates tensions and frankly there are a lot of seunghan fans who act absolutely crazy but it's frustrating even trying to navigate a single genuine conversation about their skills as vocalists because you're overwhelmingly shut down by people who think the group has actually sung live for a majority of their career. i was trying to talk to someone yesterday about how honestly is insanely overprocessed and not a good reflection of what their voices actually sound like live and they eventually resorted to sharing links of studio recording sessions with me as if it was a testament to their ability to sing live on the spot in one take while performing choreo.. the level of cope is just insane and it's frustrating because i like them a lot as a group and they're clearly all greedy to improve on their vocals but it's worth acknowledging the company holds them back by coddling them a lot. even at their fancon today they weren't singing every song live and that's insane when they don't even have ten songs of their own to sing. it's overall really jarring to engage with as someone who's been following groups like shinee and snsd for years like sue me for wanting to listen to singers who actually sing djsklfjsgddsgf

Wooyoung really likes to tease you. He'll chase you around the house just to tease you, and he'll only stop when you get mad at him. Wooyoung is a very playful person. He loves to have fun, and he loves to make people laugh. He knows that you're a good sport, and he loves to see you get flustered. When Wooyoung teases you, he's not trying to be mean. He's just trying to have fun. He knows that you'll eventually get mad at him, and that's part of the fun for him. No matter what he does, Wooyoung knows that you'll eventually get mad at him. And when you do, he'll stop teasing you and apologize. He knows that he went too far, and he doesn't want to hurt your feelings. But even though Wooyoung knows that he'll get in trouble, he can't help himself. He loves to tease you, and he knows that you love it too.

You loved to secretly take pictures of Wooyoung. He was so handsome, and you always wanted to capture his perfect moments. But he always caught you, and he would always tease you about it. He loves to show you all of their music videos and performances. Wooyoung always holds your hand tightly when you go out together. He pulls you closer to him, as if to make sure that everyone knows that you are his. He shoos away any guy who tries to talk to you, and he's always protective of you. Wooyoung will be your knight in shining armor. He will protect you from all the bad people in the world. He will be your shield and your sword, and he will always be there for you. He will be the one to shoo away the creeps who try to hit on you at the club. He will be the one to stand up to the bullies who try to pick on you at school. And he will be the one to fight off the bad guys who try to hurt you. Wooyoung will be your hero. He will be the one to make you feel safe and loved. He will be the one to make you smile. And he will be the one to make you feel like you can conquer the world.

Wooyoung is the type of boyfriend who is loud about everything. He's not afraid to show his love for you, and he doesn't care who knows it He'll tell you how beautiful you are, even in front of a crowd of people. The Bangtan Gal Chapter 87- Wild N Out

Chapter Summary: Jennie guest stars on the show Wild N' Out with Angelina. Matt Rife tries to shoot his shot with Jennie while he has been in her DMs for weeks.

Author's Note: Wild N Out is one of my favorite shows! If you aren't familiar with it, I highly recommend watching YouTube videos about the show. They have their own channel and have tons of videos for you to get an idea of the different games and banter they have.

This is one of my favorite chapters! It was so fun to write and edit!

I used some of the lines from the Wild N Out YouTube videos I've been watching to add to the chapter. So I hope you like it! I liked the build up for this. It started tame and then got crazier.

-------- "Your hair~! Finally, she has dyed her hair! You give Justina Valentine a run for her money," Angelina giggled and pulled Jennie in for a tight embrace.

Jennie flew to LA to join Angelina and stay with her for a little while before they flew to Georgia for their Wild N Out recording.

"Haha, thanks sis! I still need to hide my hair from the public. So human hair wigs it is,"

"I'll help you put it on,"

"Jennie! You're here! I've missed you!" Angelina's little brother, Tyrone, pushed Angelina away and went to hug her.

"Rude!" Angelina complained.

Jen laughed. "I'm happy to see you. You're getting taller,"

"I know! I'll be taller than you one day," he grinned.

"I see it,"

"And for the record, she has a boyfriend. So stop drooling," Angelina called him out.

"Still? Aw, when are you gonna break up with him?" he whined, causing Jennie to giggle.

"Dummy, she is not breaking up with him! Nobody is ruining our OTP! Now if you don't mind, we need to catch up, so leave us be,"

"Can you play video games with me later, Jennie?" he ignored his sister who looked offended by that.

"Sure," she beamed. "I'll play some games with you, later on,"

"It's a date!"

"Oh Lord..." Angelina rolled her eyes and grabbed Jennie to drag her to her room.

She shut the door and locked it so her brother wouldn't barge in. Laying on the bed, Jennie joined her and they began to catch up.

"Soooooo, how are the boys? They surviving well without you?" Angelina asked.

"From what I heard, not really. They're struggling a bit," Jen laughed. "But they're doing all right. Just working on the comeback. With Yoongi, Agust D is a huge success. I'm so proud of him,"

"I heard! He has BARS! A to the G to the U to the STD! That song is hot! I heard you played the guitar for a couple of his songs,"

Jen stared at her in surprise. "You noticed?"

"You have a unique sound. It's easy to tell it's you because of how you play. I think it's amazing you're doing that. The boy always has such a soft spot for you. It's so cute,"

"That is true. Namjoon is working pretty hard on the album. A lot is on his plate,"

"Yeah, he told me and kept apologizing for not having much time to talk with me. But it's cool. I get that way when I'm working on new music,"

"To tell you the truth, he's pretty stressed. And so am I. I keep thinking about my song. I just don't think it's going to be well received. Part of me wants to change it but they're not going to do that, everything is set in stone,"

Angelina playfully nudged her shoulder. "I'm sure you'll be fine. You'll be singing your truth and how you feel. Don't even worry about it or pay attention to any negativity. Focus on performing it when you guys go on tour,"

"Speaking of our tour when it's announced, I hope we get to go to more American dates. Big Hit is underestimating how many people around the world want to see us. K-Pop is getting more attention as the years go by. We need a real-world tour this time. Not just Asia, a few places in Europe, and so on. I want to go everywhere and perform with BTS. So, how is life with you?"

"I've been just doing more shows on TV as a guest star and doing collaborations. Also working on the new music. Things are getting there."

"You excited for Wild N' Out, soon?"

"Oh, you know it! I am always~ on that show! Are you excited? You get to have a chance of getting a belt! I'll have you know I won the belt quite a few times,"

"I expect nothing less from you. And yeah, I am excited, too. I'm not much of a rapper although I'm still learning from Yoongi but I hope I can spit a few bars to win some points,"

"You'll do fine. It'll come naturally. I hope they don't roast you too much. Expect them to come after the boys, though,"

"Mentally preparing. I will defend Bangtan's honor. It'll be a fun experience,"

"I really wish I was a part of the cast," Angelina sighed at the idea.

She had been a fan for years and always felt like she could be a great cast member of the show. She nailed it when it came to the games with her quick wit.

"To be a part of the show, ugh that would be awesome. I love the show so much. I feel so...at home there," she went on.

"Have you thought about asking Nick?" Jennie asked as she pondered about Nick Cannon.

"What? No way. I feel like that'll be too...forward. I mean I like being a guest on the show, so it's all right. And like Justina, she is so damn good at what she does on the show. I feel like I can't compare."

"Angelina, you'd be a great addition. Talk to him,"

"Ah...you flatter me. It's all right, just forget about it, okay? Anyway, let's watch a movie. I'm feeling Waiting To Exhale. What do you think?"

"Yeah, let's watch it. I'll make the popcorn,"

Jennie made a mental note to talk with Nick. Maybe she can help her. Angelina was stubborn and too modest about these things. But Jen could give her that extra push.

As Jennie and Angelina watched the movie, they laughed at the awkward sex scene.

"Grr?" Jen laughed. "Oh my gosh..."

"I hate men who do that. It's so weird. Why you so extra with it?" Angelina cringed. "And what's even more embarrassing is that she ain't even enjoying it,"

"Have you had a bad lay?"

"Oh hell yeah! Oh my God, there's this one guy I met at an after-party of an award show, right? Way before Namjoon. He was flirting it up, saying all the right things. He was talking all this mad shit about him having girls not walk the next day, right? This man lasted like 30 seconds and fell asleep. I was so mad. I pushed him off the bed and cussed his ass out for tryna play me,"

"Yikes~! That's uh..."

"I know! I feel like the guys who don't talk much about their skills are the best ones because they know how to put it down. And a lot of these guys I've encountered like to brag about their size but don't know what the heck to do with it. All talk, no action. It's annoying,"

"Damn..."

"But don't you worry. You have nothing to worry about when it comes to that,"

"You have a favorite part when it comes to that?"

"If anything, I would say that pillow talk is the best part for me after everything is done. You'll love it." Angelina said enthusiastically. "I feel like you and Jungkook will just be vibing and enjoying each other's company after that special moment. Watch you two be talking about video games and then end up playing some video games afterward,"

"I mean, it could happen. I see it," she giggled.

"Is Jungkook a cuddler with you?"

"Yeah, all the time,"

"That'll be the best, having you in his arms. You'll see. I usually leave after doing it but with Namjoon, it's so different. I like listening to him. I can listen to him talk for hours. We go into some deep conversations, too. He's so smart,"

"That he is, sis,"

As they continued to watch the film, they watched as Angela Bassett's character put all of her husband's items on fire. Jen was shocked at how real the scene looked as her character yelled and cussed about him.

She shook her head. "He took all the money and left her with the kids. Ridiculous. Divorcing her for that white woman,"

"I know, ain't it screwed up? Men really ain't shit. Wasted all those years of marriage to end up like this? I'd be so mad." Angelina added.

"You and I both,"

And once the office scene between Angela's character and her husband came about, Jen continued to be speechless at how they shouted at each other.

"Man, I'm amazed at how much rage you can have when someone cheats on you,"

"Can you imagine?"

"I can't even imagine it. And I never want to."

As the movie went on, Angelina chuckled after thinking about Matt Rife, "So...Matt really all in your DMs?"

"Yes! Oh my gosh. And he comments on a lot of my stuff, too. I replied to tell him I wasn't interested but he's still trying to spit game and I've been ignoring the messages. Did you see he's following some of my fan accounts?"

"Wow~! How do you think it'll be on the show?"

"I'm hoping it won't be too bad and that he learned his mistakes from Zendaya,"

"We'll see, sis. He wants you bad,"

"I'll let him down gently,"

"Well, if he gets too much, then make sure you embarrass his ass on TV,"

When the movie was over, Jennie spoke, "Hey, you know how I have occasionally talked about wanting a tattoo? I want to get one before I go back to Korea. Big Hit gave me the okay. I want to get the friendship tattoos with you,"

"Oooh! Let's do it. You still have the idea you showed me on your phone, right?"

"Uh huh. We just need to figure out where we want to get the tats,"

Angelina took out her laptop. "Let's research!"

For the Wild N' Out taping, Nick Cannon had excitedly opened up the show and shouted out DJ D-Wrek and the Wild N' Out girls.

"There are two teams battling head to head to see whose the funniest. And usually, it's my team cause I be cheating. I'm just gonna put it out there like that," Nick joked. "And I changed it up this season. We doing it bigger and better. I want y'all to make some noise for my new squad! It's the Gold squad!"

For this episode, the Gold Squad consisted of DC Young Fly, Becky Robinson, Darren Brand, Emmanuel, Karlous Miller, and Matt Rife.

"And we have a very special guest. She is the reoccurring champion here on Wild N' Out, one of the youngest and most successful up and coming rappers today, and can kick your ass if you cross her, give it up for my girl, Angelina~!"

Angelina walked out excitedly, wearing a Gold Squad hoodie, and gave Nick a big hug.

"How you feel!?" he asked.

"Elated man, elated! This my happy place, I love it here!" she beamed, earning loud cheers.

"It's good to have you back. You ready to get down, today?"

"Hell yeah, always,"

"All right, that's what I like to hear!" he replied as she went over to her team. "I can't even front, we got a little bit of competition this episode. It goes down. Y'all make some noise for the team with the dream, it's Platinum!"

The Platinum Squad walked out consisting of Timothy DeLaGhetto, Justina Valentine, Chico Bean, Hitman Holla, Conceited, and Charlie Chips. Nick then proceeded to announce Desiigner as one of the co-captains of the team. 

After shouting him out, he went to announce Jennie. "Now we have another special guest here to represent the Platinum Squad as the co-captain. Someone here to try to take my belt. Not only is she singing in Korean but she is also sticking to her roots and bringing it down in the K-Pop scene! Y'all make some noise for my girl Jennie~!"

Jennie walked out with a big smile, waving at the crowd as everyone cheered. She had on a curly human haired wig that resembled her natural hair to hide the comeback color. Along with ripped jeans, she wore a cropped Wild N' Out platinum hoodie.

"Jennie, today you get a chance to take my belt, how you feeling? You ready?" Nick asked after embracing her.

"Born ready. Let's do this!" she said happily.

"Confident! I like that! Let's get to it then! Platinum squad y'all make some noise for your team captains over here!"

As things settled down, Nick went on to announce the first game. "This is a classic game we like to call Let Me Holla. It's real simple. We bring a Wild N Out girl to the stage, and each cast member gets the opportunity to holla at her. Now if it's funny, it gets a bell. If it's not funny, it gets a buzzer. The team with the most bells wins. Y'all know how we do. Y'all ready? Let's wil' out,"

Once the Wild N Out girl arrived on the stage, Darren Brand suddenly made a dive over to her, sliding on the floor. He then got back to his feet.

"I just slid in yo' DMs," he said, making everyone laugh.

DING

Gold Team- 1 Point

Platinum Team- 0 Points

Next up was Conceited and Hitman Holla to represent the Platinum team as they approached the Wild N Out girl.

"'ight watch this. What's up, baby?" Hitman Holla greeted her with a charming smile, making her giggle. "You remind me of the 20 letters of the alphabet,"

"There's fuckin' 26 letters of the alphabet," Conceited called him out, making everyone laugh.

"Silly me. How could I forget that U, R, A, C, T," he flirted as everyone cheered.

"Okay, that was smooth," Jennie said, impressed with his game.

"No, no, hell no, that's only 25!" Conceited brought up to DJ D-Wrek. "He still missing one! He can't count!"

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Silly me," Hitman Holla apologized before moving in close to the girl. "You can get that D later,"

That statement caused the crowd to go wild along with the cast members who were shooked.

Platinum Team- 1 Point

DC YoungFly strolled over to the girl next.

"Come here shawty," he called out but she didn't budge. "Oh, she tryna play hard to get. Come here shawty. Bring that ass here, girl!"

Platinum Team- 1 Point

Chico Bean pretended that he was ordering something. "Let me get a number two...one three and the rest of them digits,"

The girl didn't seem too impressed and neither did the crowd and he was met with a buzzer.

Angelina casually wandered over to the girl with a smile. "What's up, baby?"

"What's up?" she smiled.

"Now, if I wasn't buying this drink, would you still check me out?" she revealed a can of lime-a-rita which made the girl laugh.

DING

Gold Team- 3 Points

Platinum Team- 1 Point

'Okay, I think I got one,' Jennie thought and stood up, walking over to the girl.

For this, she pretended to look disappointed. She let out a sigh and rubbed the back of her neck.

"Man...I'm so bummed," she said.

"Why is that?" the Wild N Out girl asked.

"I wish we could go to the movies together. But they don't allow snacks in," she replied as she was met with giggles and cheers from the crowd.

Platinum Team- 2 Points

Matt Rife chuckled softly at her pickup line as he gazed at her.

'Man, you are cute...' he thought to himself.

Ever since she walked on the stage, his eyes were on her. He was definitely getting distracted.

With Jennie, she felt that someone was watching her and glanced over to catch Matt staring. He quickly looked away, trying not to make it obvious but she knew what he was doing.

And so it begins.

The question on her mind was, what was he going to do?

As the game progressed, the teams went on to give out the smoothest pickup lines, with Platinum and Gold being tied at five points. Matt Rife approached the stage and the crowd cheered for him, anticipating what he was going to say.

"Wow. You are beautiful," he complimented the girl. "Now, as much as I would like to shoot my shot at you, there is someone else in this room that I've had my eye on for a while now and I want to holla at her instead,"

The crowd and cast got hyped up, anticipating his plan once Matt turned around and put his attention on Jennie.

"Ohhh shit!" Desiigner yelled as Jen's stomach dropped.

"Oh, word!?" Nick shouted.

"Wait! Wait! This is against the rules!" Conceited complained. "It's supposed to be the Wild N' Out girl! Not our co-captain! Leave her alone!"

"Give him a chance!" DC Young Fly defended him.

"He gon' embarrass himself! Zendaya 2.0" Hitman Holla claimed as that made the crowd laugh more.

"No, he not!" Darren Brand spoke.

"Yeah, so chill! I want to see this!" Emmanuel replied, hushing everybody.

Matt had made it very clear ever since Jen was announced to be on the show, that he was quite fond of her and wanted to shoot his shot. He had to at least try to flirt with her. He also wanted to redeem himself from the whole Zendaya fiasco.

"Um, are you serious?" Angelina complained. "She is wayyy out of your league,"

"Aye! You're supposed to be on his side, we're a team," Nick pointed out.

"Here he go," Justina Valentine chuckled while Matt's team cheered him on.

Jen felt her face flush at the commotion. She wasn't expecting to be put on the spot this soon. It was only the first game!

After the commotion died down, Matt went up to Jennie and gently grabbed her hand. He watched as she stood up to face him. His gaze on her grew more intense as he gave her a charming smile.

Yeah, Matt is a handsome guy. But in Jennie's eyes, no one could compare to her man, Jungkook.

"Jennifer Walker...wow..." he checked her out. "Damn, you look so beautiful today,"

She smiled politely as he released her hand. "Thank you,"

"I watched American Hustle Life. I heard you're into older guys,"

Ah, he must have watched the clips of her gushing over Tony.

"I have said that, yes,"

"Now, I'm single and I'm a few years older than you so that's a check off your list. And I hear you have this thing called an ideal type...you talked about what you want in a man,"

"I have," she agreed, surprised at how much research he put into this.

"All your reasons are valid. And I fit the description. But I couldn't help but wonder about your ideal type in a more physical way. I bet you want a man that has experience. Somebody that knows exactly..." he leaned in close. "...what he's doing and how to take care of a queen like you. Somebody that can handle all that. I'm that man,"

His statement caused the crowd and both teams to go wild. So much commotion surrounded Jennie as she processed what he had said. She became amused at his bold statement and maintained eye contact. He was not going to fluster her. No way. 

Oh, how she wanted so badly to say she had a boyfriend on National Television. But she refrained and decided for this game to let Matt have his fun. She'll think of something to embarrass and shut him down in one of the next games. This won't be the last of the flirting.

'Ooooooo he about to die~,' Angelina thought with amusement, thinking about what Jungkook and the rest of Bangtan were going to think of this when this aired.

This was getting juicy. She thought about Jungkook's reaction, how Jennie was going to handle Matt during the show, and if Matt was going to flirt more later on. She decided to let nature take its course and not get involved. Since the Amity days, Angelina would always come to her aid in situations. But over the years, she has seen Jennie hold her own and was interested to see how she was going to handle this Matt situation during the recording. If she could have some popcorn to go with this entertainment, she would as she watched Jennie laugh softly and gently push Matt away since he got a little too close.

He took a few steps back from her light push and asked, "You don't have a boyfriend, do you?"

"And if I do?" Jennie replied smoothly.

"If you do?" he ran a hand through his hair, "Well, I can confidently say that he won't be your boyfriend for long,"

'HA! He is so thirsty! How delusional can you be!?' Angelina thought as she snorted at his response.

Jen couldn't help but chuckle at that. He really thought he had a chance? If he thought she was going to leave Jungkook for him, he was sadly mistaken.

"And what makes you so confident?" she asked.

"You may not hear a lot about the girls I've had and I may not have as many as some of these guys on stage but just know my satisfaction rate is higher. And you can find all that out later if you let me have your number," he offered with a soft smirk.

The crowd hollered at his words and a series of dings were heard.

"Yes! That is what I'm talking about!" Darren Brand praised with Nick.

Once Matt heard the bell for his team, he smiled victoriously and grabbed her hand to give it a soft kiss. Releasing her hand, he sent her a wink and went back to his team, high fiving Nick and some of the other cast members.

'Celebrate while you can Matt. This is far from over,' Angelina thought to herself as she anticipated what Jennie was going to do.

"DJ D-Wrek! Who won that?" Nick asked.

"Gold team got the most bells," he announced as the Gold team celebrated.

"For this next one is a classic game I like to call talking spit. You know how it go. We gon' have some Wild N' Out girls bring out chairs, some water, and some buckets out here. Myself and Miss Jennie are gonna sit down in chairs, fill our mouths with water and each team member is going to get the opportunity to make us laugh so hard that we spit our water out. The team that makes you spit the most, wins the game! Real easy! Y'all ready? Jennie, come on up here, please,"

Jennie smiled and got up from sitting with her team. Taking a seat across Nick, she sipped some water, holding it in her mouth. All she had to do was try not to laugh that much. Hopefully, she can win for her team this time. She wanted that belt.

"Gold squad wil' out!" DJ D-Wrek announced.

Angelina decided to go first, smiling mischievously at her best friend. Jen knew what was up and narrowed her eyes.

"Yo, Jen, I ain't even gonna hold you...I may need to steal a few of them smart-"

Quickly spitting out her water, she shouted, "Hell no!" which made everyone laugh.

DING

"Ha-ha~! Works every time!" Angelina said victoriously.

"It's on sight after the show," Jen added and was answered by Angelina sticking her tongue out at her.

Once DC Young Fly jumped in to do the shoot dance, Nick couldn't help but spit out his water and laugh. Jennie high fived Chico Bean for getting the team the point.

He took out a printed photo of the BTS members and their "coconut" haircuts. "I don't know how you do it, Jennie. Do you ever just stare at BTS and be like, damn! What is with them and that yee yee coconut ass haircuts they got on?" he said, causing her to immediately spit out her water, turning to the side.

Nick spat out his too while she covered her mouth, laughing wholeheartedly.

The audience laughed while Nick spat out the water.

The two battled in a stare down for a moment as everyone watched in anticipation.

"FIRE~!" he suddenly shouted, making her widen her eyes. "FIRE~! FI-RRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE~!"

As she heard him sing Bangtan's song, she struggled to keep the water in her mouth.

"You didn't spit, yet? Man! That's the only lyric I know. It seemed to be working so FI-RRRRRRREEEEEEEEE~!"

Thinking on his feet, he thought of the other English that he heard from the song. "Everybody say LA-LA-LA-LA-LA! Say LA-LA-LA-LA-LA! I do-ont know the rest of thee-ee woor-oor-oor-ords!" he said on beat for Jimin's part.

Nick pointed at Jennie and it looked like she was about to spit as she covered her mouth, leaning forward. He stomped his feet at a rapid rate while pointing as he stood up. But in the end, they both kept the water in their mouths.

Charlie Chips stood behind her next.

"Keep the water in your mouth if you think Angelina is real..." he said to Nick as Nick nodded and kept the water in his mouth. "Keep the water in your mouth if you think Justina is real...Okay, come over here," he asked for the Wild N' Out girl, Teresa Top Notch, to join him on stage.

"Keep the water in your mouth if you think everything about this is real." he went on, gesturing to Teresa, as Nick continued to do so.

Jennie watched as Teresa spun around and posed, looking as beautiful as ever.

"You see Nick? This is my whole thing," Charlie ended up snatching the wig off Teresa once she began walking away.

She was left in her wig cap which caused Nick to spit out his water and run out of his seat while loud laughter and screams surrounded Jennie.

Jennie covered her mouth, laughing while Teresa started to playfully hit Charlie. Miss Bangtan was glad she didn't get her wig snatched off. That would have been disastrous since she was trying to hide her new hair color for the comeback.

"You shut up! Sit down! It ain't funny!" Teresa laughed and pointed at Nick to get back in his seat.

"Wow...I was not expecting that," Nick said on the mic once he got back in his seat.

As the game continued, both teams were tied up yet again, and this time with Gold catching up to the Platinum team, 4 to 4. 

Matt Rife took the stage and stood behind Nick. Everybody was wondering what he was going to do after the stunt he pulled on Let Me Holla. Anything could happen.

"Now this is a win/win situation for me. So, it's all up to you on how you want to do this, baby girl," he announced, making her confused.

PAUSE!

One, did he call her the nickname Jungkook likes to call her?

And two, what the hell did he mean by win/win situation?

Jennie raised an eyebrow while Angelina began freaking out in her head that Matt called her baby girl.

"If you want me to kiss you, keep that water in your mouth," Matt requested.

Jennie snorted in amusement while making an effort to keep the water in her mouth. Meanwhile, the audience and cast were shooked at his boldness and started freaking out.

"Kiss who?!" Conceited shouted.

"Kiss where!?" Chico Bean added.

"Not this again!" Karlous Miller laughed.

"Matt really got some balls today, huh?" Desiigner laughed.

"She has a choice! If she keeps the water in her mouth, that'll let me know she wants me to kiss her and I'll kiss her," Matt explained. "Spit it out, well then that's one extra point for my team. Like I said. Win. Win,"

Angelina covered her mouth. She mentally saw Matt's grave get dug deeper. She already thought about Jungkook wanting to beat his ass when he watches this episode. Oh gosh, Jungkook. When this episode dropped, she wanted to get all the tea on Bangtan's reactions.

Jennie continued to process what was happening. She felt like Matt was bluffing. There was no way in the world. Not after Zendaya. Another thing was she wanted to win. She did not want to lose this game. Her eyes were on that belt. To take it back to Big Hit and place it in her studio. 

She watched him as he began to walk over to her while the crowd was cheering in anticipation.

"Jennie, spit out that water!" DC Young Fly shouted. "Spit it out, now!"

"Spit it out!" Becky Robinson joined in.

"No~! Hold that water in! We need the point!" Charlie Chips said.

The constant yelling of the teams made the pressure in the situation rise as she continued to keep her water in.

"Don't do it! Resist!" Hitman Holla shouted. "This white boy is not going to win this game! Keep it in the mouth!"

Matt kneeled in front of Jennie. "Make a move, quickly. You gonna accept my kiss or spit that water out?" he teased, raising an eyebrow.

'So, this the game you playing? Bring it. Come closer...I dare you,' Jen thought, narrowing her eyes.

Angelina bit her lip in anxiousness as she watched the scene unfold.

'Girl, what are you about to do?' she thought.

As Matt inched closer to her face, puckering his lips, Jennie ended up slapping him in the face to block his advances. That caused Nick to spit out his water and laugh with the rest of the studio. 

When he got slapped, Matt stumbled to the floor and held his cheek in surprise.

"GIRL!" Angelina laughed out loud, holding her stomach. 

Miss Bangtan never ceased to surprise her. This was hilarious and a perfect reaction.

"REJECTED~!" Platinum squad hollered and jumped up and down in excitement and laughter.

"Damn, can you slap me again? That was hot. Playing hard to get, I see," Matt laughed and got back up on his feet, rubbing the side of his face. 

Jennie looked taken aback by his reaction.

He...liked the slap?

She swallowed the water and spoke in Korean with a smile, saying that he was an idiot for trying that cheap stunt and she was going to punch him if he ever did that again.

"I dunno what she just said but it was hot," he replied with a chuckle.

"Y'all make some noise for our girl, Jennie! Thanks for being such a good sport!" Nick praised and went to high five her once the Platinum team won the game.

"Y'all ready for the next game? It's a fun one, it's called Now You Wild Out. We gon' drop the beat, we gon' bring both teams up and DJ D-Wrek is gon' give us some topics and we wild out and improv about it right on the spot. The team with the most bells wins the game. Y'all ready? Gold team step up. Platinum step up. DJ D-Wrek drop the beat!" Nick announced as an instrumental of 50 Cent's In Da Club came on. "Uh! Come on y'all, uh! Now you wild out!"

"Your topic is going to court," DJ D-Wrek announced.

"Now you wild out!" everyone chanted.

In a whiny voice, Nick started, "I don't wanna go to jail, I don't wanna go to jail, I don't wanna go to jail, now you wild out!"

Pretending to get handcuffed, Chico Bean shouted, "You goin' to jail! You goin to jail! You goin' to jail! Now you wild out!"

"My lawyer's white! My lawyer's white! My lawyer's white! Now you wild out!"

"You bout to be in the cell! You bout to be in the cell! You bout to be in the cell! Now you wild out!"

Scared by his statement, Nick covered his butt and shouted, "Not with you! Not with you! Not with you! Now you wild out!"

"Pause! I'm going out!" Chico Bean quickly walked away, making everyone laugh.

"Well I'm a bird with it," Hitman Holla flapped his arms like they were wings. "I'm a bird with it, I'm a bird with it, now you wild out!"

Hitman hesitated and that allowed the Gold team to get another point.

"I'm dancing on yo' man!" Justina got close to her, twerking. "...dancin' on your man, dancin' on your man, now you wild out!"

Thinking about Namjoon, Angelina replied, "And I'm beatin' your ass, beatin' your ass, beatin' your ass, now you wild out!"

Her statement made everyone laugh and she got the point for her team.

Tim fumbled his words and Gold received another point.

The Gold team was truly kicking some tail with their quick wit. Wanting to try to get a point, Jennie stepped up.

"Oh, Jennie? You want a shot at this?" Nick looked surprised as the crowd cheered.

"Yeah! I'll go!" she answered with a smile and danced to the beat.

"Oh, then it's my turn, now!" Matt stepped up.

"Oh, here he goes, about to get embarrassed again," Hitman Holla said, making everyone laugh. 

"I got this. I got this," Matt reassured everyone.

"Would you leave my girl, alone? She's not interested!" Angelina called out.

"Chill~. Don't be a cockblock,"

"She don't want you, dumbass,"

"Your topic is relationships," DJ D-Wrek announced.

"Now you wild out," the audience said while both teams danced to the beat again. "Now you wild out!"

Matt looked directly at Jennie with a flirty smile. "You into white boys? You into white boys? You into white boys? Now you wild out!"

Shrugging, Jen waved him away. "I am but not you, I am but not you, I am but not you, now you wild out!"

Her comment made everyone laugh wholeheartedly while Matt continued to remain persistent.

"Give me a chance!" he replied while his team backed him up by looking like they were begging her to say yes. "...give me a chance, give me a chance, now you wild out!"

Dancing to the beat, she remained unbothered. "No way, no way, no way, now you wild out!"

"You know you want this," he flexed his arms. "...you know you want this, you know you want this, now you wild out!"

Looking around confused with her team, she stated, "Who lied!? Who lied!? Who lied!? Now you wild out!" she pointed at him.

"I still smashed," he shrugged and jumped to the beat, causing the Gold team to look at him in surprise and get hyped. "...I still smashed, I still smashed, now you wild out!"

Thinking quickly on her feet, determined to not stutter, Jennie dropped it down low, balancing nicely as she moved her hips, knees, and ass up and down to the beat of the song, distracting him as both teams yelled. Laughter around the studio rose in volume when she spoke. "Was it in though? Was it in though? Was it in though? Now you wild out!"

"HEYYYYY, MISS WALKER!" Angelina shouted, loving her performance as she watched Jennie get back up, awaiting Matt's response.

Almost fumbling with his words, Matt managed to say, "M-my dick can definitely hit it right! And my tongue is better, my tongue is better, my tongue is better, now you wild out!"

Putting him out of his misery, Jennie grabbed onto Desiigner, letting him wrap an arm around her while she rocked to the beat with him. With Jungkook on her mind, she replied, "I've had better head, I've had better head, I've had better head, now you wild out!" 

As soon as she pulled that stunt, everyone freaked out, while Matt couldn't think of a comeback for it.

Angelina smiled proudly at her. 'That's my girl!'

Desiigner went on ahead to represent the team while DC Young Fly went up.

"Your topic is graduation," DJ D-Wrek announced as the energy in the room heightened with them both dancing.

"I fucked my teacher today!" Desiigner jumped on beat with his team following his movements. "I fucked my teacher today! I fucked my teacher today! Now you wild out!"

"You didn't make it!" DC pointed at him with his team. "You didn't make it! You didn't make it! Now you wild out!"

"I put my grrrrr on the desk! I slap my grrrrr on the desk! I slap my grrrrr on the desk, I slap my grrrr on the desk!"

Yelling and moving his body wildly, DC answered, "A KA-KA-KA-KA-KA-KA-KA! A KA-KA-KA-KA-KA-KA-KA! A KA-KA-KA-KA-KA-KA-KA! Now you wild out!"

Jennie laughed along with the entire studio. What the hell was going on?

Getting hyped like he was in the studio when making music, Desiigner began to do his one of signature adlibs with his team backing him up.

"EEEEEEYAAAA! KI KI AH! EEEEEEYAAAA! Now you wild out!"

Jennie loved that no one questioned it and went along with what those two were doing.

Moving his body vigorously with his team following him, DC shouted, "BOOP-BOP-BOP-BOP! BOOP-BOP-BOP-BOP! BOOP-BOP-BOP-BOP! Now you wild out!"

Determined, Desiigner crossed his arms. DC was speaking his language and he was not having it. He was going to win this battle.

Moving in rhythm, he responded, "Whoop-de-scoop, whoop-de-scoop, whoop-de-boop! Now you wild out!"

"You stupid! You stupid!" DC walked away, allowing the Platinum team to get the point although Gold had won the game.

Their time on Wild N Out began to come to an end as they went on to the final round. Wildstyle. Jen had a blast and hoped that one day she could come back with better rhymes and play different games.

"We got Jennie and Desiigner holding it down for the Platinum squad while we got Angelina on the Gold squad, give it up! It's time for the bonus round and it's called the?" Nick announced.

"Wild-Style!" the audience shouted.

"Yep. Freestyle rapping here at Wild N' Out. We focus on them jokes so each punchline is one point added to your total score. So, the game can go either way. It's anybody's game, right now. Gold squad step up. Platinum squad step up. DJ D-Wrek, drop the beat!"

Once the beat started with both teams on stage, everyone moved to the beat while Nick encouraged the crowd to clap their hands.

"Uh. Clap your hands, y'all. Clap your hands, y'all. Yo, Miss Jennifer Walker, you a real big talker. After you left Amity, we forgot who you are. But don't worry, I'm sure Angelina can still make you a star,"

'Suga is creating a monster,' Angelina thought as she dropped her jaw, impressed by how she fought back.

Jennie turned to Tim and smiled in reassurance, telling him she got this, and turned back to Becky. "Bitch, I'll go back to my amazing Asian boys after I win this belt. You got three seconds to get the hell out of my face before you get a welt. Trashier noise? Girl, be for real. Compared to you, our music brings more appeal. You wouldn't last a day in Bangtan's shoes, let's make that clear. Bangtan is selling out venues faster than your career."

Everyone cheered loudly at her response while Becky broke out in laughter and nodded. Jennie high fived Tim as he cheered her on.

Now Jen had some unfinished business and turned her attention to Matt who was standing behind the Gold team, quiet as ever.

"Matt. Get over here," she called him out.

Matt laughed and stood in front of her.

"Matt, your game is tired like Advil PM. I know I am desired but do me a favor and stop sliding in my DMs," she announced.

Matt nodded and spoke up, "Okay, I slid in your DMs but stop with the front. Stop being in denial with this reject Matt publicity stunt. I guarantee that after the show you'll be calling my phone. I meant what I said on Let Me Holla, so let me make your mind blown,"

Jen rolled her eyes. "Face it, just face it. You brainless, you brainless. You said your tongue is better but I think that's outrageous,"

"Outrageous? You know you want a demonstration! After that, you'll be asking for a bae-cation," he smiled confidently.

"Cute. DJ D-Wrek, can you cut the beat, real quick?" she requested as a series of oohs were heard. 

Angelina placed a hand over her heart, in surprise. "Nani!?" she exclaimed.

Oh, he was done for. Jennie was getting mad. She could tell by the annoyance on her face.

"Hm. Okay..." Jen prepared her thoughts and looked directly at him. "Matt, get it through your thick skull that I don't want you. I am not Zendaya from Disney, I can punch the shit out of you," 

Angelina continued to have her hand placed over her heart as she stared at her best friend in astonishment. She had leaned back as her reaction was priceless and was about to become a new meme.

Out of nowhere, Jennie began to speak in Korean, which made Matt look at her in confusion. She had talked about what a joke he was and turned to the camera to give Bangtan a shoutout and that she would be back in Korea soon.

Switching back to her native tongue, she put him out of his misery once and for all. "You ain't the first, you ain't the last but just know you will not be the one to smash. You might as well give up just like the others. All hot and bothered cause you can't get me under the covers. You only think with your second head so think of a new plan. But let's face it, Jennie don't want you, one minute man,"

After she finished, she dropped the mic. The studio was filled with loud hollers and laughter while Matt's face became flushed as he chuckled.

DJ D-Wrek repeatedly pressed the bell, indicating that it was all over.

Angelina had cheered with the cast and she ended up falling dramatically on the floor during the commotion. Meanwhile, Desiigner got excited and patted Jennie on the back, praising her.

"Yo! DJ D-Wrek! Who won that!?" Nick shouted after everyone calmed down a bit and Angelina got back on her feet.

"I got to give it to the platinum squad! Make some noise for the platinum squad, yo!" he announced over everyone's cheers.

"Woo!" Jennie jumped up and down, excitedly as she celebrated with her team.

A Wild N Out girl came on stage with the belt and presented it to Jennie after she went to hug Nick.

"She came through and took my comedy championship!" Nick announced as she happily accepted the belt and raised it up in the air in victory. He then shouted out Desiigner and Angelina.

Jen let out a content sigh. This was awesome. She was glad she was able to do this, today. And now she got to take this title home. Another award for BTS.

"What do you want to say?" Nick asked her as he gave her the mic.

"This has been such a fun experience, thank you so much for having me! And shout out to BTS and BTS ARMY, I love y'all! Thank you!" she said.

She then switched to saying thank you in Korean for the boys and reiterated that she missed them and would be back very soon. After bowing, she was then hugged by Angelina and had her hand raised in victory.

After recording, Jennie hung out with the cast to take pictures and discuss the show. The vibe was full of high energy as they laughed about their favorite moments and roasted Matt for being rejected. What Jen loved about it was that there were no hard feelings and people didn't take any of the disses seriously. If only more people could vibe like this.

"You did well! Great job, today!" Nick Cannon praised her.

"Aw, thank you! It's harder than it looks to think quickly on your feet. You guys got that," Jen grinned.

"It is but you held your own. Especially on wild style," he laughed at the memory of her calling Matt a one minute man. 

That was the utmost disrespect and a huge blow to his ego.

"Ha! Had to hit him where it hurts. Can we take a selfie?"

"Yeah, let's do it,"

Taking out her phone, she gave it to him so he could raise it in the air for a quick photo of them smiling happily. She'll make sure to post it after her little social media break is over.

"Thanks so much for having me. This was a fun time," she beamed.

"Anytime! We hope to see you and Angelina back on the show sometime,"

"Most definitely. And speaking of Angelina, she really is in her element on your show, huh?"

"Got that right. In the last episode, she was in she went off on everybody. It was one of the highest-rated episodes to date. She a real gem,"

"That's Ang for you. One of the best. Have you thought about adding her as a cast member? She'd be a great addition!" she suggested excitedly.

She watched as Nick smiled at the idea and he discussed how well she would hold her own in the games with clever clapbacks and rhymes.

"She really would be a great addition, wouldn't she? I'ma talk to her. You think she'll want to?" 

"Absolutely! She will accept with no hesitation,"

Jen felt pleased that it seemed like he was highly considering having Angelina join the cast. She hoped it went well when he talked with her. She knew how much it would mean to her if she got to be a permanent cast member.

Following some photos and mingling with other cast members, Jen went to hang out with Desiigner who still had a large grin on his face. What she loved the most about him was how positive he was and how happy he looked. His energy was infectious.

"Mama, you funny as shit. You a savage,"

She laughed. "Thanks. It was so fun teaming with you,"

"Likewise, mama,"

"I also think it is so dope and inspiring with what you accomplished. We're nearly the same age and you out here making moves ever since Panda dropped. I hope I can make an impact like that with my music,"

"I 'preciate that. It's all about the music and what we love to do. We both young and hungry in this industry. We gon' make it big,"

"Got that right. Heck, we could even make a few songs together,"

"Oh, hell yeah. For sure,"

The two took photos together and then with Angelina. Desiigner then took out his phone to take an Instagram video.

"Yoooo! With my girls! Beautiful black queens! Jennie and Angelina! You know what time it is! Wild N Out! Stay tuned, it's comin' out real soon! Ya-a-a!" he laughed.

"Platinum squad~! All day!" Jennie stuck her tongue out.

"Err-day!"

"Gold squad!" Angelina repped her team.

"Boooooo!" Jennie and Desiigner playfully said before they all laughed.

"Y'all some haters," Angelina playfully rolled her eyes and walked away from them as the video ended.

Once Desiigner went off to goof around with DC Young Fly, Matt approached her with a nervous smile.

"All right, I got the hint. I apologize for coming all over you like that," he chuckled nervously.

He did look pretty apologetic with his face looking a little pink.

"It's okay," she responded.

"B-but just know I'll still wait for you if you ever change your mind,"

She laughed. "Well, you'll have to wait forever,"

"Damn..." he sighed in defeat and nodded.

"I have a boyfriend, that's why," she proudly told him. "After rejecting you quite a few times as well as in the DMs, I thought you'd got the hint,"

Happy New Year!

A New Year tradition in my area is the Mummers parade, which is...awesome to watch, just as a side note.

I don't know how much you know about Mummers, Mummery, whatever, but it's got me thinking.

Part of the performances, especially for the String Bands and Fancy Brigades, are these HUGE costumes covered in feathers and sparkles. And once a year, today, the entire day is dedicated to performing and competing.

So, a character, who's already not feeling the greatest, still shoving themself into the performance, into this big, heavy costume. Perhaps they're even a Captain, and their costume is the biggest and most elaborate of all (though not just the captains get the big outfits).

They get out to perform, they're on top of a tall prop, and they just.

They pass out.

They fall.

They're direly ill, overheating, too weak to hold the weight of their costume, it's the most important day of the year and they suffer and fall in front of hundreds of people.

How will they deal with that? How will the people who care about them deal with that? While this prompt doesn't have to strictly lead to something Mummers related, most Mummers brigades are largely family and friends based, where members are often brothers and fathers and grandfathers, three, four generations of family out there.

This was the most important event of the year. Whumpee had practised tirelessly for the past months, in costume, out of costume, with the rest of the team, and without. This was the first ever year that the team decided they were fit to lead the choreography, and they couldn’t afford to betray that trust. Especially not in front of the baroness.

Except the overexertion was starting to take a toll on their body. As the date of the performance approached, Whumpee’s anxiety was becoming quite extreme. They were foregoing meals, sleep, any rest at all, and when the weather turned bad, they refused to stay inside instead of practising. With two days left until the parade, Whumpee fell ill.

It was miserable. They used all their leftover strength to pretend they were okay, going through the motions of the choreography in a dizzy haze. They had to do it. They had to go out there and show up for the team. They had to be perfect.

The day before, Whumpee couldn’t get out of bed. They told everyone they were preparing mentally, and the excuse seemed to work. Nobody even questioned them. Everyone was preoccupied with their own worries, they didn’t have time to get suspicious and investigate. And what would it have achieved, even if they had? No, it was much better this way. Whumpee knew they would feel better the next day.

They were wrong.

They saw two of every costume as they staggered into the dressing room, staring straight ahead while one of their friends helped them get into their attire. Their ears felt like they were plugged up, like all the sounds were coming from underwater. They couldn’t focus on a single word that was spoken, and they could only hope it wasn’t information they hadn’t heard a thousand times before.

The sun was too bright, the music was too loud, the prop they had to get up on was too tall, and their head felt like it had been stuffed full of cotton. Muscle memory carried them through the entire first half of the performance, and not even the baroness’s royal presence could penetrate through the fog that enveloped their mind. They didn’t feel anxious anymore. It was almost like the calm before the storm.

Whumpee got on one leg and kicked the other to the side, then reached both their hands up towards the sky—

The world suddenly tilted. The clouds were moving way too fast for a day with not so much as a light breeze, and Whumpee was distantly aware that it wasn’t actually the clouds that were moving; it was them, having lost their balance and falling backwards with nothing to soften the impact.

They gasped in pain as their back hit the asphalt, their head colliding with it just a moment later. If there had been any air left in their lungs, they might have laughed at the absurdity of it. All that practice… all to embarrass themself and all their friends in front of the baroness and her lackeys.

The music didn’t stop, but several of the people on their team rushed to their side, yelling to them and each other simultaneously. Whumpee stared past them, up at the beautiful, winter sky.

They wondered whether they’d ever see it again, after having ruined the baroness’s entertainment.

<3333333333 I love the way they are with Glyn, now, really settled into him. I hope he knows that their calling him Glynis is the height of love from a Beatle. He's settled into them too. I love when he tells John to turn his bass down and John complains that "it's not as good as when it was bassy" and he's just like 'okay, be bassy'. (One of the main things I learned from Get Back is that nobody ever turns their bass down.)

- Genuinely impressive that we're so far into this thing and Yoko is still finding things to do, bringing bits with her, answering letters, filling her time, reading lyrics from her boyfriend's band. No wonder she has to scream on occasion.

- I'm so relieved they like their studio and think it's going to be lovely. (I wish we were in a universe where we could watch all this, knowing it was the founding of a lovely little base that they'd work from for years to come, like an inside look at the place the next six or seven big Beatles albums would be birthed.)

Enter Billy Preston. All four Beatles gather round him, evidently thrilled by his arrival.

The book here making them sound like rats in an experiment who have just been given a new enrichment. Accurate enough.

- Billy's little laugh when John says, 'if you want to do it you'd be welcome'! oh! what a ridiculous moment of your life though. And then John telling him he'd be on the album, and he's just beyond. It's lovely having that on camera.

- Paul's face when Billy starts playing! The best thing about Billy is how Paul feels him.

Ooh, sarnies. That's good news.

- I love that their mics don't ever really work and their setup is so random.

- I love John asking for a big drum sound to give him the courage to come screaming in. (Like I love Paul when he talks about having to build himself up to screaming numbers and worrying that it might not come before live performances.)

John: It'll be fantastic with this whole build up with bits of paper, and Twickenham, and all that scene, and, you know... it's like getting Wordsworth or something, from the start. Instead of having to get an actor to go through the bits, and re-enact his life... It'll be marvellous. And it'll be a movie, you know, not a TV show. It'll be the third Beatles movie.

They all seem to take turns understanding the project and realising how wonderful it might be... and then the next day they forget again and act like it's just a stupid idea of Paul's that is too much effort.

- I know that George says that having Billy there changed the mood so much because it made everyone less bitchy, and more polite, which yeah, to a degree. But that's only a small part of it. They've been surrounded by strangers for weeks and didn't mind being petty. It's the music that lifts them. George in particular has been so worried about the whole thing and how awful it's going to sound and how they can't do it... But when Billy plays it makes everything sound whole, and you can see them relax into it. George literally says to Paul that it's great because Billy can do some of the fills so he doesn't feel like he needs to fill in all the spaces, and John says he doesn't have to worry about the rhythm as much either.

- Billy also arrives when there's already a massive shift in mood happening, because they're in a nicer place, and they're doing nicer things. They've moved from rehearsing and trying to plan a show they don't agree about, to recording! and people telling them how good it sounds! and getting things together! And mostly it's better because now they get to talk to Glyn and Lovely George Martin instead of bloody MLH. That's one of the biggest reasons they're all feeling happier. It's not just the move to Apple, or Billy's arrival. It's a whole confluence of better things.

- And yet it's all meaningless because no matter how brilliant and good they are, they're going to fuck it all up and decide it was terrible and ignore the LP and cry at the film and ruin their lives and meet with Klein on Monday. Oh well.

Alone, Chapter 14 - Eyes of the Father

Summary: On the farm, Clint spirals after the disappearance of Laura and the kids. In his grief he leaves Lacey and Tommy, and she turns to her brother for protection.

Lacey looked at the time and wondered why Bucky hadn't called yet. It had been three days since they argued and two days since he apologized, explaining how he had been dealing with a growing sense of dread. She thought for sure he would call when word came of the spacecraft appearing over New York that left taking a sorcerer and Iron Man with it. When he didn't call she wondered if he even knew. She called but there was no answer and she assumed he was out in the fields working.

At the farm Clint and Laura had set up a picnic table and everyone was out there except for Lacey and Tommy. He had fallen, scraped his knee and Lacey was performing first aid on him, Mom style. As she kissed his knee and sent him outside the TV showed a breaking news alert. Standing up she watched as the announcer reported that a strange phenomena was being noted all over the planet. People were disappearing into dust. There was no rhyme or reason to it either. Sometimes whole families disappeared and other times just one or two members. Going to the door she went to call Clint and Laura in to watch it. In the distance she could hear Clint calling for his wife and kids, almost hysterically.

"Oh no," she said, then in desperation she called her son. "Tommy! Where are you?"

"Here, Mom," he said from the side of the porch. "What's wrong with Uncle Clint?"

"Something bad has happened, honey," she said, picking him up. "I think it's happened to him as well. Clint!"

She called him several times before he finally came over, his face tear stained. "Where are they?" he asked, his voice choking. "They were here, then they were gone."

"It's happening everywhere," she replied. "I don't know why but people are disappearing everywhere. It's on TV."

He pushed past her to the living room and stood in front of the TV, watching the news coverage. It was unbelievable then finally there was word from someone in government and the announcement was officially made as the TV screen showed the Oval Office and a shaken Vice-President.

"Today, the Earth was attacked by an extraterrestrial being," said the Vice-President. "This being, Thanos, was behind an attack on New York yesterday, and Scotland last night. Today, his forces attacked the country of Wakanda and Thanos did the unspeakable. In an act of genocide, he somehow caused the death of a significant portion of Earth's population. Our own President and the First Lady were among the casualties. We are still trying to get in contact with people who were involved in the battle of Wakanda to find out exactly how this heinous act was committed. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has lost a family member today. We grieve with you."

The Vice-President began to cry and the broadcast from the White House was stopped, replaced by somber music playing over nature scenes. Clint stood there, unmoving then grabbed his phone and began calling. He called Nick Fury and it went straight to voice mail. Then he tried Maria Hill, and several others. It was only when he tried Natasha that he got an answer.

"Nat?" he cried. "They're gone ... Laura, and the kids...they're gone, disappeared. What the hell happened?"

As Natasha tried to explain Clint became more and more upset then slammed his phone down, damaging it. He looked at Lacey with agony on his face.

"Vision is dead, the Mind Stone taken from him by Thanos," he said. "Wanda is gone. So is Sam, T'Challa, Shuri, and ...."

"Bucky ...," whispered Lacey. "He's gone, isn't he?"

He nodded and as Lacey began to cry he opened his arms and they held each other, crying loudly. Tommy sat quietly watching what was happening. Finally, Lacey stopped crying and blew her nose. She sat on the couch and motioned to Tommy to sit with her.

"A terrible thing has happened," she said, holding his hands. "A very bad man found a way to kill a lot of people all at once. He's killed Aunty Laura, Lila, Cooper and Nathaniel. He also killed your Dad. They're all gone, honey. They won't be coming back."

"Where did they go?" he asked, confused.

"I don't know, but they aren't here any more," said Lacey. "They're just gone."

"So I don't have a dad anymore?" asked Tommy. "We won't talk on the tablet?"

"No honey," said Lacey. "I'm sorry."

She looked up at Clint and she noticed something had changed in him. His face had hardened and there was something in his eyes that wasn't there before. Without a word he left the house and went towards the big barn. Carrying Tommy she followed him out there and saw him walk into his workshop. He scanned the tools and found what he was looking for, industrial cutters.

"What are you doing?" asked Lacey. "Won't that send a signal to them that you've cut them off?"

"Yep," replied Clint. "That's why I'm going to the edge of my perimeter to do it. I'll leave you the truck. I have a motorcycle."

"Clint, they'll arrest you," said Lacey. "Laura wouldn't want you to do this."

He glared at her. "I wore this happily when she was alive," he said. "Now that she and the kids are gone there is nothing keeping me here."

"What are you going to do?" she asked. "What about the farm?"

"I'm not going to sit here and mourn my family," he stated, walking out of the barn with the cutters. "You can have the farm. It means nothing to me now."

"You'll be leaving us unprotected," cried Lacey, grabbing his arm.

He stopped, breathing heavily. "Steve will protect you," he replied. "Agent Jones, if he made it through this will protect you. I can't stay. I'm sorry."

He went up to his room and Lacey could hear him packing a bag. Then he came out with a back pack and put the cutters into it.

"Don't leave," pleaded Lacey. "Please."

He touched her arm and looked at Tommy then turned away and left the house. As she watched from the porch he went into the garage, then came out a few minutes later on his motorbike. He slowed down briefly to look at them then sped up and disappeared from the property. Lacey slumped into a chair on the porch and began to cry. Tommy patted her arm trying to comfort her. She held him closely, crying with him for some time.

"Well, kiddo," she finally spoke. "Looks like we're on our own. Do you think you can run the farm with me?"

"Yeah," he said. "We can do it, Mom."

Lacey hugged him then grabbed her cell phone. She thought for a moment then took a breath and dialled a number, thankful she had asked Nick Fury for it some time before when the one he gave her at the funeral didn't work.

"Terry?" she said. "You're alive! Thank God. Is Nancy alright? Tommy and I are okay but the family we live with disappeared, except for the husband. He's had a breakdown and left. Did you mean what you said about protecting us? Would you live with us?" He spoke for a bit then Lacey's face dropped. "Bucky disappeared, in Wakanda. He was part of the battle against Thanos." Terry said some more and Lacey began to smile. "Okay. You call me at this number. Thank you, Terry. I didn't know who else to call." She looked at Tommy. "Your Uncle Terry may come to live with us. He has some things to deal with first then he'll call."

She looked at the second number and debated about whether to call him but she dialled it and when it went to voice mail she hung up. Agent Jones wasn't answering his phone and had possibly been one of the disappeared. Then she dialled Steve and waited for some time before hanging up as he wasn't answering. She took a deep breath and tried one more number. Just like Agent Jones this one went to voicemail and she wondered if Phil Coulson had also succumbed to Thanos' snap. Taking Tommy by the hand she went back into the house and tried different channels on the TV to see if they had anything different to say but it was all the same. Billions of people had just turned to dust and disappeared. She and Tommy were likely on their own.

One year later

"There's an aircraft approaching!" yelled Lacey's brother Terry as he stopped the tractor and jumped off.

Lacey came out of the barn where she and Tommy had just finished transferring the straw bales from where they had been dropped off outside the doors. She knew the farmer who sold them to her was short on help but it would have been nice if he had put them in the barn. Still, Tommy was strong enough to drag them in almost by himself. She looked up at the sky and smiled.

"It's a quinjet," she said. "Probably Steve. About time he showed up."

The aircraft landed about 100 yards away and she strode towards it, removing her gloves in the process. The ramp came down and it wasn't just Steve but also Natasha and another man she had never seen before. He had some sort of external bracing on his lower legs and she wondered if he had suffered an injury at some point.

"It's about time you showed up," she repeated for Steve's sake. "For a year you've been saying you'll come. I'm not angry, just disappointed it's taken you this long."

"I'm sorry," Steve apologized as he hugged her. "There's only a few of us now and it's hard to keep things going when we're spread so thin. This is Colonel James Rhodes, War Machine. Lacey Williams also known as Lacey Chapman."

"Rhodey is fine," said Rhodes extending his hand. "I thought it was time I met you and this little guy."

"This is Tommy," said Lacey. "That big guy coming in from the field is my brother Terry Williams. He lives here now."

"The football player?" asked Rhodes. "I didn't know you were related. What's with the two names?"

"Chapman is my pen name," replied Lacey. "It seemed easier and more secure to keep it when I first went into hiding. At least Nick Fury thought so." She looked at Natasha who was hanging back. "Hey Nat. I've had no word from him. It's like he's dropped off the face of the Earth."

Natasha looked at Lacey then at Steve and Rhodes. "That's partly why we're here," she replied. "We kind of have a lead on him. He's gone rogue."

"What do you mean?" asked Lacey, as her brother joined them. "Terry, this is Steve, Natasha and Rhodey, who's apparently a fan. What do you mean gone rogue?"

"Let's go in the house," said Steve. "Hey Tommy. Ready for a workout?"

"Sure, Uncle Steve," replied the boy. "I'm a lot stronger now. Uncle Terry set up a gym in the barn and we lift weights together."

"I don't overdo it," said Terry. "But it won't be long before he can out lift me. If I didn't see him doing it I wouldn't believe an almost 4 year old can do the things he does."

Together they walked to the house and Lacey put the coffee on, bringing out enough cups for everyone. She gave Tommy a juice box and asked him to watch TV for a bit while the grown ups talked. No one said anything as Lacey poured coffee for everyone. Terry brought out sugar and milk.

Steve took a deep breath. "When Clint left what did he take with him?" he asked.

"Industrial cutters, a back pack of clothes and his motorcycle," said Lacey. "Why?"

"Did you notice if he had a sword with him, like a samurai sword, except shorter?" asked Natasha.

"No, but it's possible he kept it in the barn where the motorcycle was," replied Lacey. "He may have carried it in a travelling case attached to the motor bike."

"Do you mind if I look?" asked Natasha. "I know where he kept his weapons in the barn."

"Go ahead," said Lacey.

Natasha left and went to the barn. Her face was grim. "You're going to have excuse Natasha," said Steve. "She hasn't heard anything from Clint and she's worried."

"What do you mean about him going rogue?" asked Lacey again.

Rhodes cleared his throat. "There's reports of a ronin, fully disguised, who's going after criminals," he said. "Not the run of the mill ones either. He's going after heads of drug cartels, mafia, Yakuza, anyone of them that survived the Snap. He uses a katana, a shorter version of a samurai sword. Clint knows how to use one."

"You don't think he's doing it, do you?" asked Lacey incredulously. "He's a family man, kind and a gentleman."

"Without his family," said Rhodes. "Angry that his loved ones are gone and these criminals still live."

They saw Natasha returning to the house and she looked downcast. "It's not there," she said. "He must have taken it."

She took a deep breath and Lacey could see she was shaken. Grasping Natasha's hand she squeezed it and was rewarded with a sad smile. As Natasha picked up her coffee cup Lacey could see her hands were shaking slightly.

"Are you going to try to stop him?" asked Lacey.

"So far, he's eluded us," said Natasha. "I know him better than anyone and even I can't find him. I just worry that he'll reach a point where he can't come back. I owe him so much and I can't even ...."

She began to cry and Lacey pulled her up, hugging her. Looking back at the men she took Natasha upstairs. Steve sighed then he looked at Terry.

"Thank you for coming out to stay with Lacey," he said to Terry. "Like I said we're spread so thin that none of us really can spare the time to be here with her and Tommy. Have there been any incidents?"

"Nothing," replied Terry. "That FBI agent that was supposed to check on her and Clint hasn't shown up so we assume he disappeared. Apparently, he's the only one who knew about the farm. Phil Coulson dropped by a couple of times but like you he couldn't stay as SHIELD is short staffed as well. We've heard nothing from Tony Stark."

"You likely won't," said Steve. "He still blames me for not supporting him. As if that would have stopped Thanos. How's Lacey holding up?"

"Okay mostly," he said. "She's working on her third book. I do hear her crying sometimes so I know she still misses Bucky. Did you know after he finished his treatment he was going to turn himself in so he could come back to the States? I guess Thanos interrupted that plan as well."

"He never told me," replied Steve, upset at hearing it now. "I'm not surprised he wanted to be here. He wanted to come back as soon as he found out about Tommy when he was still a baby. He wanted to make it right."

Terry nodded. "At least Lacey and I are close now," he said. "When I was still playing I was quite the asshole and she didn't want much to do with me. After I found out the danger she was in I offered to help and she called me after the Snap to move here. Best decision of my life. Tommy is an awesome kid. Even as strong as he is he doesn't show off or get angry and abuse it. He loved Bucky and I think he misses the relationship, even though it was over the tablet. He doesn't want to disappoint Lacey."

Steve looked at Tommy sitting in the living room and watching TV. "I'm going to do an assessment of his physical skills while I'm here," he said. "Since you're already monitoring him lifting weights it's probably a good idea for you to encourage him to be as physically active as possible. Running, jumping, parkour type activities. He should be fully capable of all of it."

"What about self defence?" asked Terry. "Tommy said you were teaching him to box but I know nothing about any type of fighting."

"There's a possibility he has a genetic memory of how to fight," said Steve. "I was a 98 pound weakling who got beaten up a lot before I took the serum. Once my body changed it was like it knew what to do all by itself. Bucky's change was from a different serum but Bruce Banner, a scientist and doctor, thinks it's possible he passed on the memory of how to fight to Tommy." He drained his coffee and looked over at Tommy. "Hey buddy, want to show me what you can do?"

Tommy turned around with a big smile on his face. Together he and Steve went outside and Steve ran up to the top of the barn parkour style, using the smaller outbuildings beside it to jump up. Tommy looked up at him and ran towards the first outbuilding, easily jumping on top then he continued on and pulled himself up to the top of the barn. They high fived each other and Steve jumped straight off down to the ground. Tommy followed him. Steve picked up one of the straw bales and carried it into the barn then stood in the doorway and watched Tommy as he lifted the edge of one then tried to lift it onto his shoulder. It's bulk was too much for him and he dragged it in instead.

"It's too big," he said to Steve. "Maybe when I'm bigger."

"Maybe," agreed Steve. "You've seen martial arts on movies, right? Do you think you can do what those guys do?"

"I haven't tried," said Tommy. "It would hurt Uncle Terry if I did."

"That's why I'm here," smiled Steve. "Go ahead, show me what you can do."

Terry and Rhodes watched from the porch as Tommy suddenly adopted a martial arts fighting stance and began attacking Steve. He was just as fast as Steve and landed several blows and kicks, getting past the bigger man's defences more than once.

"It's like he knows instinctively what to do," said Terry in a low voice. "He's only ever seen it on TV."

"He's definitely a super soldier," said Rhodes, impressed. "No wonder HYDRA tried to breed Barnes. He could have fathered a whole army of them."

"They tried to breed him?" asked Terry. "Lacey said he thought he was sterile and didn't believe that Tommy was his at first."

"He was because of all the chemicals they were pumping into him," said Rhodey. "Our guess is once he got away his body was able to detoxify itself. By the time he and your sister got together he wasn't sterile anymore. Of course, he didn't know that at the time."

"Have there been any encounters with HYDRA since the Snap?" asked Terry.

"The odd sighting of a known operative," replied Rhodes, "but nothing organized. They were probably hit as hard by the Snap as all of us."

Steve called a halt to Tommy's fighting and kneeled down to talk at eye level with the boy. "You can fight without even thinking of it, can't you?" he asked.

"It's like my hands and feet know what to do," said Tommy. "Does that mean I am a super soldier?"

"Looks like it, buddy," said Steve. "I know it's hard but you have to make sure no one sees you doing that except your Mom and Uncle Terry."

Tommy nodded in understanding. "I know," he sighed. "Can I be an Avenger when I grow up?"

Steve smiled and ruffled Tommy's hair. "If that's what you want to do," he replied. "Let's go for a run."

They set off running at an easy pace for them. To the men on the porch it looked like they took off at top speed. They came back about ten minutes later and Tommy's face was glowing. As he stepped up to the porch he looked at his uncle.

"Did you see me?" he asked.

"I did," replied Terry. "You're fast, much faster than I ever was. It must have felt good to run like that. I watched you fight as well. You looked like you were pretty good at it."

Tommy beamed and hugged his uncle. "Thanks, I'm going to tell Mom what I did," he said, entering the house.

Rhodes looked seriously at Steve. "So, the kid has the abilities," he stated. "What now?"

"He stays here," said Steve. "Even though you're here Terry, Tommy has more than enough physical ability to protect you and Lacey than you do. He could disable a normal human. I'm going to see if we can get a satellite in position to monitor the comings and goings on the farm. If anyone does try anything we have access to the sorcerers now and can get a portal here within seconds. I'll talk to Wong and see if he can also put a protection spell on the farm. Not that I'm expecting trouble. The world is still reeling from the Snap, friendlies and non-friendlies alike."

The sound of Tommy's voice drew their attention to inside the house where Lacey and Natasha were coming down the stairs with the boy. Natasha had been crying but she was smiling kindly at Tommy as he continued to tell the women what he and Steve did. When they got down to the bottom of the stairs she kneeled down to him and touched his cheek.

"You look after your Mom and Uncle, okay?" she said. "You're strong enough to keep them safe. Don't ever forget that."

"I won't," said Tommy, and he hugged Natasha hard.

She returned it just as hard and stood up with a deep breath. "Are we ready to go?" she asked briskly, then turned to Lacey. "I'll try to come more often. Thanks for the shoulder. Good luck with the book."

Lacey rubbed Natasha's arm and smiled grimly at her. "You're welcome," she said. "Don't be a stranger." She looked at Steve and Rhodes. "Both of you as well. You're always welcome here."

She hugged Steve and Natasha hard then looked at Rhodes. He gave her a small hug. Terry shook their hands. Together they all walked out to the quinjet. The three Avengers walked up the ramp and Steve took the controls. He waved at the three still standing together on the ground. Tommy waved back while the other two just raised their hand in farewell. Terry went back to the tractor while Lacey and Tommy watched the quinjet lift off and fly away. Then she put her hand out to Tommy and they walked hand in hand back to the barn to finish taking the straw bales in.

having a lot of hobbies and interests (i couldn't stay still between one thing [e.g. i could love making music this week, next week i'd be into arts]). right now i am into writing fics and serving the people some entertainment lmao but i have to stop because for some reason my reach is not reaching idk what to do to alleviate that. i have a keen eye for detail and quite a perfectionist — selective even.

i have a small circle of friends in real life. they are the ones who i can trust my life with. i do believe that quality is better than quantity. but building new connections helps me discover about people more and reflect about life.

my talents are diverse mainly because in my country being an all out performer is a thing. schools were literally built here for you to show and perform like beyoncé or sorts to earn grades. singing while playing an instrument, dancing, acting, writing, you name it i could give it a go. i am a theater kid so i think it impacted developing these talents, they're very enjoyable regardless. 100% not picky with music either, music kind of reflects a person's soul. roadtrips are nice and they're quality time. that's how you also know which friend of yours is only there for clout and the ones who are there because they look forward to a journey of sharing the same space with another.

clubbing is not my thing. i am not fond of smoking or drinking alcohol. I AM HEAVILY TURNED OFF BY VICES but i don't mind an occasional wine for formal events. if you put me inside a club, expect me to sit down on a corner and watch everyone. i tend to attract men easily (i am not bragging but it's hard rlly) and i do believe clubs are not the best place to attract guys sorry •́⁠ ⁠ ⁠‿⁠ ⁠,⁠•̀ if you'd invite me to a party, we can have picnics or a dinner at your home or somewhere. i couldn't handle clubs, 100% would dip if someone say clubs or bars. they're too overwhelming.

i was raised in a quite conservative household so i preferably wear clothing that do not show much skin. i love statement outfits and prefer to make my own clothes or customize clothes rather than buying high-end branded clothing. my wardrobe is quite diverse, i can have masculine and feminine outfits. styles from fairycore, 50s, 80s, 90s wear, autumn wear, formal wear and officewear. i have gowns too! at this point i can build a boutique and often get teased about it by people in my circle💀 i grew up with relatives who doesn't smoke and only drink on occasion.

Hey guys! Time for HSMTMTS Appreciation Week Day Three: Favorite Quote/Scene/Original Song/Performance! I honestly don't think I would be able to pick for both of those, but I'll at least talk about one of my favorite quotes (if I try to talk about anything else this will most definitely be late, because it's midnight in 8 minutes, so we'll see - or maybe I'll make another post sometime lol. Coming back here with an edit from later in the post: yeah it's past midnight lol. Ignore that - I'm sure for other people it won't be xD).

And that quote is: "And now we're all here, maybe for the last time together. For some of us this has become. . ." "Family."

LISTEN OKAY!!!

XD Yeah, maybe a stereotypical quote, but it's always the first one I think of when I think of HSMTMTS quotes. It's just so relatable to almost any theatre kid, and I totally feel it. Especially given that this is in 1x06. At the end of the year before last, my amazing theatre teacher left. And last year, our musical was cancelled, shortly before we lost one of our members. I know that fear. During my rewatch, it hit me how much I did, when EJ said "I'm sorry no one will get to see you play Gabriella" (something like that). And that specifically relates to ANOTHER experience lol. My first real musical was High School Musical. I was cast as Sharpay, and I was so excited. COVID killed it, and after months of waiting and trying, we performed it on Zoom.

So I just feel this scene so much. They all have no clue what's going to happen, they're angry, they're upset, they don't want to lose this. And they're just barely starting to come together as a cast. But they know. They know that they're family. And it's right after this quote that they decide to do something about it.

And it brings me back to how much I love the Wildcats (guess I'm going to talk about that every post this week lol). They truly are a family, and seeing it from in Season 1 is just so special. And even though they keep going from here, and keep growing, this quote is the moment we know. The moment THEY know. That they're a family, and they're not going to give up on each other. Despite how different they all are, and despite their different opinions and emotions in that moment or all the time, they're not going to leave or give up. And I just love that, so, so much :').

I don't know if I managed to find all the words I wanted to there, but yeah lol :'). Now, since it's past midnight anyway, I will actually talk about the other options for today a bit lol.

Again, I could never truly pick a favorite of any of these lol, these are just examples of some of my favorites.

Favorite Performance: Stick to the Status Quo. Is this because of Seb? Maybe, who knows. But seriously xD, it's so good. The dancing, to AAHHH GINA'S BACK!!! AND SHE'S AMAZING!! To SEB MATTHEW-SMITH SLAYING THE HOUSE DOWN!!! It's just so good xD. And it's at the point during the show where they're all still having a good time, not switching roles and losing their minds yet lol. The amount of times me and my sister would be watching YouTube and see if in the search history and just. Look at each other. And immediately watch it again xD. It's just so epic.

And, this could be a point for or against it, it does make me feel some feelings (besides love for my babeys). Related to previously discussed crazy theatre happenings lol. It's kind of a bittersweet thing for me, just feeling a tiny bit off "I never got that". But it's worth it lol.

Favorite Scene: Honestly I genuinely don't know what to put for this lol. I want to put SOMETHING specific, even though this is probably harder to pick anything close to a favorite than any other category, but still lol. Okay, I thought of one lol. Yes, it includes a seblos moment, but shush, I can do what I want lol. Anyway! Carlos welcoming Ashlyn to the queer community :'). That entire scene lol, with EJ coming up after that and supporting Carlos, and then SEB!!! MY SEBLOS REUNION!! AND A KISS!!!! It's just such a good scene, I love it so much :'D. Like, seeing Carlos welcome Ashlyn and give her the pin :') - especially considering it like 100% definitely for sure confirmed it <33. And then seeing a bit of Carlos's insecurities, but EJ reminds us of that Wildcat love in saying that he doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to do :'). And then Seb, showing up and being the cutest ever, and Ashlyn looking so happy that he's there, and Carlos seeing him, and just aAH!! I love them all so much <33 😭❤️❤️❤️🥰. I love all of those mini-scenes in one scene so much :') :'DD.

Favorite Original Song: Oh my gosh, I love them all xd. Okay, here are a few of my favorites (but it's a lot of them lol): In a Heartbeat, Born to Be Brave, Second Chance, and You Ain't Seen Nothin'. But honestly those are just some of the ones that get stuck in my head a lot or I listen to a lot lol.

In a Heartbeat: the perfect Seblos song. Also Ricky just. Being there. Always makes me die xDD. But seriously, it's SO CUTE, and it's a BOP (and Frankie's voice is amazing)! But seriously it's perfect for Seblos, like I said, and it's just so sweet :'). I have literal records (like in documents where I talk about it lol) of me freaking out over In a Heartbeat lol. It's perfect <33. Also, don't even talk to me about the homecoming suits sequence ❤️❤️.

Born to Be Brave: The icon of the series. I mean, clearly, since (SPOILERS) the last episode is named after it. Honestly if there's not a reprise of it I may riot /hj. But seriously, it's such a cute and empowering moment between Nini and Kourt, and of COURSE it's also empowering on Carlos's side :'D. And as someone who loves just dancing crazy however I want with my friends at dances? Yeah :'). Love <33. Anyway, it represents such big moments in multiple character arcs, and I just love it so much :')). Plus, again, it's a BOP!! And the ACOUSTIC VERSION!!! Don't even get the started on that :D.

Second Chance: THIS SONGGG!!! It makes me feel so many feelings 😭😭❤️. It's such a great summary of all four of their character arcs, and the VISUALS!!! They just kill me so much. Everyone back in their episode one outfits 😭😭💔❤️. And it back to the core four, especially knowing Nini's pretty much done :'(( ❤️. Honestly, I really want a song similar to Second Chance for everyone at the end of Season 4. I know we probably won't get it, but just- flashbacks to everyone's first outfits (honestly I'd take/love flashbacks in general 👀 but the point here is like Second Chance lol), everyone getting a part. And oh my gosh, if they all had individual lines? Like the little phrases the core four have in Second Chance? I don't know how that would even work (four overlapping in Second Chance works but everyone would be a LOT lol o.o xd), but it would be so cool. Anyway, Second Chance makes me so sad and nostalgic but it is SO GOOD!! It hurts but it hits xD. I just love it so much <33.

You Ain't Seen Nothin': This one, like I just said, just hits xDD. It's a BOP!!! And the video call format of it is really cool :D. But honestly, everyone gets their own part (as I saw pointed out in the comment section of it once lol, it fits everyone's voices, like Belle), and it's so upbeat and GOOD and just AGH!! I love it so much. It also accidentally makes me feel a bit of Feels™ (we're not worrying about that phrasing right now), because happy/"yeah let's make them most of this"/"we do amazing things and we will do amazing things" songs do that to me sometimes lol, but still. It gets stuck in my head SO MUCH!! Like the other songs I feel like are more appreciated/iconic than this one, but it just STUCK to me. I don't know why, but I don't care xDD. I love it <33. Also, it brings together everyone from the episode really well, just like the calls did throughout, but with music :D. And again, it's just so uplifting :). And also again, I love it <3 ❤️🥰🥰.

Also, special shout-out to the beginning of Here I Come for getting STUCK in my brain!! It's just. OUAGH!! Not that I don't love the entire song, but there's something about that beginning 👀. And also, again, the Wildcats loving each other gives me feelings xdd <33.

Anyway!! So those are some of my favorites of all those lol. This got pretty long, but I should expect that by now lol. I do hope y'all enjoyed seeing me freak out over a bunch of HSMTMTS scenes (and such) for 10 paragraphs though lol :). It's pretty much how I roll xD.

But yeah! I am so excited for Season 4 :DD. Just two days, people!!!

Hi, I see that you've been getting a lot of jikook asks, so I just wanted to share my viewpoint. I've started to get skeptical the past few months and now I'm leaning more towards they aren't together. Today in jungkooks live he kept talking about wanting to do a redo at yoongis concert tomorrow. He kept repeating it multiple times and even asked yoongi. Yoongi ends up telling him not tomorrow, and people are speculating that it's because jimin is performing. So if jimin actually performs tomorrow that really seals the deal for me because how wouldn't you know your bf is performing? On the inkigayo live jungkook said he doesn't keep up with the members all the time and I saw a lot of people say he wasn't talking about jimin, but if jimin does perform tomorrow it shows that they truly don't talk often.

Hi! I get having doubts - we don't have undeniable "proof" and we keep being told we're crazy because shipping is pretty much a sport in kpop - but your reasoning just isn't solid. If you have doubts, this should not be one of them.

Jungkook may have asked Yoongi for a redo of his performance, but he wasn't being serious. I'm sure he knew both Jimin and RM were performing on the remaining days of his tour, and every concert is meticulously planned weeks in advance, so you can't just decide to perform the day before. For example, Jungkook's dancers may not have been available to perform. Jungkook wanting to perform again on day 2 says nothing of his knowledge that Jimin was performing already. Even if Jimin himself didn't tell him he was performing, you think Suga wouldn't have? You think they didn't all talk about it on their group chat? I mean, three different members performed in the finale of Suga's tour, which was obviously a big deal for him, and 2Seok even appeared in the last day to watch the concert! What are the odds that they didn't all know who would be showing up? Imo Suga added those three days just to give Jhope the opportunity to catch one of his concerts after completing his training. Jin and Hobi probably had to ask for permission to attend Yoongi's concert, and I think one of the members had already mentioned they'd all been planning a get together. Do you really think all seven of them didn't know who would be performing and when? Jungkook asking Yoongi to perform the next day says nothing about his relationship with Jimin. Why couldn't both he and Jimin have performed on day 2? The fans wouldn't have minded, right? But you can't just decided on these things on spur of the moment, which Jungkook knows.

Also, there are times where Jungkook doesn't seem to be aware of Jimin's schedule, like when he commented on Jimin's live that he wanted to go watch him on music shows but Jimin said he had just performed the last one. If you recall, at that time Jimin was super busy while Jungkook was still resting. He went to bed in the morning, either seemingly slept all day or not at all, had no official schedules or responsibilities, and didn't seem to go out very much or work out. When you live like that, every day is the same. You can't tell if it's Monday or Friday because it makes no difference to you. Even if Jimin had told Jungkook he would be on Inkigayo on a Sunday, Jungkook may not have realized it was Sunday already, or that Jimin had meant that Sunday and not the next one. You know what I mean? Plus, people forget. Jikook aren't fan/artist, they're very close which means they don't write down on their calendars when the other is releasing something or performing somewhere. They know but they might forget or get a date wrong, or maybe one forgets to tell the other because they don't just want to talk about their jobs. We know Jungkook watches Jimin's stuff, but Jimin may not even tell him he'll be on a variety show in advance because it's not important? That's just his job. To us it's a big deal, but to them, photoshoots, dance practices, music shows, etc. are just their daily lives. How well do you know what your partner/best friend/parent does every day at work?

Besides, Jikook literally hanged out in NYC a few weeks ago, they talk frequently in each other's lives, Jimin knew Jungkook had a schedule at 2pm the day of his shirtless live, Jungkook watches Jimin videos all the time in his lives - and not just when he releases a new song, like he does for the other members -, etc. Just because we don't have as much content, and Jikook likely can't see each other as often (for example, Jungkook said he wanted to do a live with Jimin, but their schedules weren't aligning), it doesn't mean they're no longer close. Don't forget that Jikook are very private and rarely post pics with friends and stuff. V and Mingyu might post pics hanging out with Jungkook, but Jungkook doesn't post pics with them. Since Jimin is the same, we're unlikely to get any pics of their time together, but that doesn't mean they never see each other...

They have this idea because the story's been changed. The wrong narratives about Jimin (and other members) keep spreading and everyone keeps believing it.

It really is not about how many people at the airport or watch your lives or like your instagram photos. All of that are nice bonus extras. People are so deep in fandom spaces that they forget what it is about in the end, what it should be about: people genuinely liking your music and looking forward to watch your performances.

Then there's this thing that I don't understand.. what do they mean when they say most "popular"? Is it really most popular, in the grand sense of the word where random people know your name, or is it most "popular" because they're the most biased members within the fandom? Because I think the answer to that is very clear. Everyone knows whose name outside of the fandom people know and recognize and talk about.

This fandom has come to dislike and resent Jimin because he had the misfortune of being friends with Jungkook. They resent him because he's loved and successful and people talk well about him. There's a lot of new armys who probably have no idea that "armys" started ignoring Jimin's tweets and stopped interacting with them because they thought it boosted his brand reputation and other members deserved to be #1 too. They literally stopped themselves from interacting with Jimin's tweets so he wouldn't be "more" than the others. And yet, people in real life, outside of the fandom, still keep Jimin there as #1. So I think that for starters, we should all collectively agree on what's the actual definition of "popularity." Case in point, BTS had a huge fandom since years but they weren't actually "popular" until dynamite.

Okay, so what if Jungkook and Taehyung cater to the fandom fantasies and fit their standards better. That has never, and will never say anything real about Jimin's likeability or talents.

Hello there friend!! I'm happy to explain, I love rambling about this batshit show so much!

So yes, the prequel is about the parents, but I'm not sure how much you know about it so here's a little primer: from what I've seen, it's actually Dean telling the story of how his parents met and fell in love, presumably while he's up in Heaven post-finale (y'know, where Cas is also supposed to be). Jensen and his wife Daneel are executive producing, and the prequel is being showrun by Robbie Thompson, known for writing such episodes as Goodbye Stranger (the crypt scene my beloved!!!!!!), Meta Fiction ("What makes a story work? Is it the plot, the characters, the text? The subtext?"), and Fan Fiction (the musical ep! With Sam teasing Dean about destiel!). So from the get-go everyone was like 👀 because Robbie has always been a destiel-positive writer! Plus, apparently, Daneel's favourite character is Cas, so it would make sense for them to bring Cas back if they (and Misha) wanted!

Please bear in mind that I haven't actually watched any of the prequel, i've just been living vicariously through my dash. People who have actually watched it/know more than me please feel free to add on/correct me!

So, to my knowledge, the reasons people are thinking they might make Destiel canon in the prequel are (in no particular order):

a) A few weeks ago there was an episode that had Gabriel (as played by Richard Speight Jr) as the MOTW and also had a background cameo from Rob Benedict in a very bad wig (unclear if that was Chuck or not), and there have been quotes from (i think) Robbie saying that they're only having cameos from OG SPN actors if it's relevant to the story they want to tell (and since the Rob cameo was not explained or plot-relevant people are thinking they're possibly going to do a Chuck won scenario? It could turn out that he was never actually defeated in 15.19 and now Dean has to show up to fight him again (and get Cas back?? maybe??))

b) In that same episode, there was a scene where Mary and John look at a picture of some dude who'd given them a clue or talked to John or something - it was Dean! So he's alive again, briefly, in the 70s. Could be time travel, could be he's escaped from Heaven. So if Dean is around in the show, whether just as narrator or as a character in the story, he has the potential to go rogue and look for Cas, or be telling the story to Cas up in Heaven. In either case, there is the potential for canon destiel, if they (Jensen, Daneel, Robbie, Misha, etc.) decide they want to do that.

c) Jensen has said various things at cons recently which are kinda 👀, including that he'd have been happy to keep going on SPN for another 6 years, and, most recently (this weekend), which I think sparked the poll you were talking about - that if Dean and Cas reunited Dean would say "Hey, can we talk about that goodbye a little bit?" and then joked that nah, it would be more like "hey, buddy, good to see you, old pal" but THEN said "I don't know, maybe we'll get to see that, that would be interesting" (Here's a gifset of him saying that if you're interested)

It's no secret that Jensen Did Not like the finale, apparently Eric Kripke had to talk him into it and he still makes salty jokes about it even now. Add the fact that he got someone else to film the confession for him because he wanted to have a record of it, and has said they cut out key parts of his performance in that scene (which is why the editing of it is so janky). So it's possible that he intended for there to be actual reciprocation in that scene and, well, now he's got the reins. He could do it if he wanted!!!

d) The prequel finale - airing next Tuesday, Jack help us - is titled "Hey, that's no way to say goodbye". Which was already kinda 👀 before the con this weekend, but combined with Jensen saying Dean would say "can we talk about that goodbye a little bit?" is um. Look I don't wanna get my hopes up. But also........ 👀👀👀

I think the prevailing theories at the moment (from what I've seen on my dash) are that either:

a) They're baiting us to keep interest in the prequel (I trust Robbie but I don't really trust Jensen, so this seems likely)

b) They really are gonna bring Cas back, either as him being the one Dean is telling this story to up in Heaven, or using that Rob Benedict cameo to retcon the finale and make the show about breaking free of Chuck's control for realsies this time (which hopefully means Cas actually showing up and not being explained away in one line like the finale)

Like I said, I don't wanna get my hopes up because I don't quite trust Jensen. But. Given Robbie Thompson showrunning and Daneel loving Cas and Jensen dropping all these maybe-maybe-not hints. If they DID make destiel canon. I would not be surprised.

well, i am not here to invalidate your emotions, sometimes we just feel how we feel and that's okay. people are different, people are flawed, people make choices (people are people and sometimes we change our minds...). and we don't have to like or agree with all of those choices or behavior, or even understand them (or have to like them if we do understand them!). i also feel like some are forgetting that liberal dirtbags unfortunately persist - someone can be quite progressive in their ideals and yet still say/do harmful things because of lack of empathy or foresight or tact or intersectionality, etc, which is i think an issue here regarding mh. though it doesn't in any way excuse it. that said, while you have every right to be upset about association, how much that affects your engagement is entirely up to you. i feel it's important to remember this doesn't change things we know to be true, and on a wider/more fundamental level it doesn't change the artistry or the music. if that's important to you or something you've loved and found comfort in, i don't believe you should give that up or even allow that to be tainted (easier said than done at times, i understand).

so here's a bit of a tangent - obviously i love classic hollywood and old music. the studio system was corrupt and abusive (towards women and poc especially), the music industry is often terrible, and i recognize that, but it doesn't cause me to dismiss the art that was made in those films or the joy the music brings me. there were perhaps decisions and behaviors i don't agree with even from artists i love dearly, and i can parse that some of that is because it was a very different time, some was down to individual circumstances and traumas and experiences, some was just people being imperfect humans. we decide what we can keep and what we can't. (like i won't watch w**dy all*n films, but i enjoy a bunch of hitchcock. granted, he is no longer profiting off of that work, but it's ultimately not about him for me, it's the actors' performances, the stories, the design, the costuming, and so on. i saw a post the other day joking about how nobody today would survive fleetwood mac and i laughed). if i judged the performers i enjoy for every misstep, i wouldn't be able to be a fan of anyone's. i know a lot of actors (gn) and musicians i love simply weren't perfect, so i ask, did they try to do better? did they work to grow, did they ultimately share more kindness and good? humans are fallible, but also beautiful. love and compassion and art live on. separation of art and artist is a necessity at times, but i really like the approach, where possible, of lending understanding to the artist through their art too.

i don't think moral arbitration and judgment based on art an individual enjoys does much for real social change and justice, because where does it end? there are things we should have no tolerance for, and yet even on those topics not everyone agrees where the line is? then you have to ask, is someone intentionally hurting others, actively harming marginalized communities, spreading prejudiced ideology with no compunction, profiting off of that harm or exploitation, and doing more damage? or did they mess up personally because they're human, but still do more net good?

she's not suddenly revealed something monstrous about herself, though it’s disappointing that she’s willing to overlook things he’s done. tbh it seems like she's…going through it or whatever and maybe not thinking too clearly. human. we can dislike a choice without discarding every other true and meaningful thing. you shouldn't be embarrassed by something you love that makes you happy. you should never be embarrassed about sharing that love with others, that's really special and helps it grow. the music is what it always was. the meaning to you is paramount. even if you need to take a bit of space, i would encourage you to not let anything steal your love or your joy.

The way I started losing my mind when they performed TATTOO (it's their first Japanese EP and I had no hope that I'd be able to see it in person one day since groups usually don't perform their Japanese discography outside of their fan concerts or in Japan)

The members taking time to acknowledge the second floor of the venue, and taking so many moments to scan and take in their image of the experience we're all sharing in that moment

The pure excitement and joy of being in stage and showing us how free they are when they're in the spotlight is addictive and yearned for: to keep their focus on their own path without engaging with any moment of disregard, undermining, or challenging their influence and presence in the industry

Sharing silly moments, such as them fooling around with the height of the mic stands during more fun and carefree songs

Witnessing the comfortability and confidence they now have from being in the industry all these years, while taking time to reflect on their journey as they were once young boys with a big dream ahead of them

The VCR was gorgeous: usually in between outfit changes, the videos shown usually compose of more behind-the-scenes footage (recording sessions, dance practices, self reflections, etc), but THE BOYZ really kept the concert consistent with their "Zeneration" concept (the theatre style venue made it feel like I was watching a movie)

My interpretation (since the Seoul concert VCR has more commentary and behind-the-scenes), there were lots of juxtaposition from a more industrial/sterile environment (all white set, cat walk, very interesting motion transitions (even though I used Adobe After Effects for animated illustration, VFX work on there is otherworldly), defying the natural laws through astrology and galaxy elements (traveling through space and seeing the warping of the universe was so dynamic and peaked my interest because I personally enjoy those themes), and teleporting us into a world filled with nature elements (open grass field, lakeside, flowers, trees, open sky).

THE BOYZ have been working for officially 7 years in December (which is the typical length of time a contract lasts), and I had the privilege of witnessing their growth and journey in finding their footing in the industry. Being a part of a "small company," the level of exposure and opportunities is drastically different in comparison to groups entering the industry from "big companies," whether from music show appearances, award ceremonies, variety show appearances, access to ambitious production professionals (music production, music video directors, content producers, etc). The threshold in attaining any level of commercial "success" is a financial and opportunistic division, which the industry currently operates on. Therefore, groups like THE BOYZ have to overexert themselves beyond what can be a walk in the park for other groups (which doesn't diminish the coexistence of all groups working hard while still acknowledging the innate advantages and disadvantages that vary from the level of influence a company has due to the saturated market), and from being so involved in their journey as a fan, THE BOYZ's ambition and passion in delivering the best performances while exploring and solidifying their artistic voice and color is one of their best traits that resonate to me as a multi stan.

With 7 years of experience, not only is their discography extensive and diverse, active solo/unit promotion (while bringing more attention to the group themselves) continues to keep THE BOYZ head above water for all these years. Appearing in shows like Road to Kingdom while also earning their ticket to join Kingdom: Legendary War, they only continue to make me proud to see them shining on stage and being recognized for their hard work and ambitions. Moments that resonated with me during those times were witnessing and sharing their vulnerable moments with us as the audience (which reminds me of Kevin mentioning after finishing their ballad songs that he kept forgetting the lyrics, but being met with empathy and a smile because we're all human and experiencing the same life full of pressure, anxiety, forgetfulness, etc): Sunwoo being so brave despite having a fear of being head below water and heights taking on many killing parts that challenged him and amplified the drama/storytelling of the performance, the members pushing the limitations of their bodies to showcase their creativity and drive to deliver to the audience something attention grabbing, Juyeon crying after finishing their Quasi una fantasia because he couldn't find his specific branch during the climax of the performance and felt that it could potentially risk their ranking (seeing the fancam of him scrambling on the side of the stage brought me heartache knowing how much pressure he puts on himself because of how deeply he cares about his performance), investing time to showcase a storyline throughout the show that built upon one another (from Eastern warriors, crowned kings, phantom thieves, blossoming sakura petals, and so much more). There is so much love and dedication to what they want to bring to the industry, while also understanding their strengths and capitalizing off of them: intentionality is the word that comes to mind.

From starting out with their school boy youth concepts from Boy as their debut song, silly resort employees in Thrill Ride, werewolf callbacks in REVEAL, defining what it being their individual versions of BE YOUR OWN KING means in their own right, thieves in The Stealer, competing against one another and resorting to violent methods to escape their doom in MAVERICK, exploring nostalgia as school boys again in Nectar, there are so many concepts and sides of THE BOYZ that has only solidified their position in my life as one of my favorite artists. The willingness to experiment and explore, the willingness to deliver new flavors of THE BOYZ while also calling back to past concepts as newer versions of who they once were at that point in their lives. Having so much awareness of the creative direction they're walking on is inspiring, it's admirable, it's cherished. Please give them their flowers, moments of acknowledging their efforts and impact they have on the world around them, and taking the time to return the love we receive from them tenfold. For some, it may seem like the end to a beginning, but with any end, there's always a beginning. I only hope and pray that they will continue down this flowering path and inspire everyone around them, while also taking moments for themselves to join in on the human experience and remove the fame and "idol" mask. That they are just like us, that they have their own worries and insecurities, their own qualms and moments of weakness, their own dreams and goals, their own paths to pave, their own acknowledgement of their emotions and down to earth contemplations. That we all aren't so different after all: that we all share the mutual exchange of love and energy for one another. We're all playing the same game of life: it's up to us to continue grounding ourselves and to return home to our safe spaces.

While driving home four hours away (ended up being three from me being ballsy and driving during midnight) from Atlanta shortly after the concert was over and everyone else attended hi-touch, I finally took the time to record a long awaited voice memo for myself: spent the entire drive reflecting and acknowledging areas of my life that deserve praise and have been on the back burner for a long time. Just from enjoying my time at the concert, the energy gave me so much strength, so much love and care, so much inspiration and desire to work harder, so much appreciation for living my life with intentionality, second by second, moment to moment. Moments like these mean the world to me, giving me evidence and more reasons to continue waking up every day whether to clear skies or thunder clouds. That there is more to this life than what meets the eyes. To some, it's never "this deep" or belittling people choosing to live in their authentic selves and love what they love even if it seems weird, lame, stupid, which to that I say: "don't yuck another man's yum" and "I hope that one day you will have the courage to reflect and meet yourself at such levels of depth where there's no reason to fear the judgment of others, society, the world. Where living in your authentic self will not only alter your relationship with your own pursuit of happiness, but wanting to share that same warm fuzzy feeling with the rest of the world. Nothing makes me more joyous than seeing someone else tap into themselves and light up like a chandelier, like a sparkler, like a candle, like a campfire, like a firework. Why wouldn't you want to witness such moments of pure passion and love?"

She and Florence Pugh are absolute besties from being in Little Women together to her work in Don't Worry Darling. During filming for LW, they would hang out together outside of filming and YN even made it on an episode of Flo's Kitchen. They honestly did more dancing, laughing, and drinking than they did cooking.

This also goes for Timothee Chalamet from filming LW. They had really good, natural chemistry from filming that they were bound to become close friends. Not to mention how fun their promo interviews were for the film. And she may or may not have been given an invite to be in Call Me By Your Name sequel.

Lizzo is a given seeing how close she is with Harry. YN often jokes about she's the third wheel between the three of them. When she and Lizzo are in a room together (at a show, in the studio, etc.) they're always laughing and cracking jokes. And Watch Out For The Big Grrrls? YN was a guest to perform with Lizzo at Bonnaroo with her own core tour dance crew consisting of females ranging from different colors, shapes, and sizes.

Being besties with The Weeknd is another obvious choice from the number of songs they've collaborated with and spent countless hours in the studio making music and talking about anything and everything. Whenever they get the chance, they'll have each other as a surprise guest at one of their shows. Although he had nothing to worry about, this friendship in particular makes Harry feel the kind of jealousy from when they were in the band together.

Megan Thee Stallion and YN have such a fun friendship. From what you mentioned about the two of them, all I can see is YN dancing along in the wings of the stage to Thot Shit. Then Megan quickly goes over to grab her hand and pulls on stage. So while Megan holds her hand and continues to rap, YN has her back to the audience, moving her hips seductively as she slowly lowers herself down. She even looks over her shoulder and takes a sip from her see-through, neon green cup as she does it.

Oh my gosh and Mac Miller and Ari?! YN played cupid and was the one to introduce them to one another. And you best believe she was by Ari's side during his mourning. She lost a very good friend and she made sure she was there by Ari's side for whatever she needed.

It's all about connections, right? It's not what you know but who you know? So after meeting Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar Jones at one fancy event, they immediately got along. So when working at the studio one day with Phoebe Bridgers, she played cupid for the second time and introduced her to Paul.

And with Daisy, YN was introduced to Sebastian Stan when they filmed Fresh. She was really grateful for all of her media training because she kept her cool instead of fangirling like she wanted to (if only she knew that he felt the same way). Both of their managers and agents may or may not have gotten in touch for a possible movie together...

Through Sebastian, YN was able to meet the bundle of sunshine that is Simu Liu. Simy treats her like the little British sister he never had. They don't see each other that often, but it's all smiles and witty jokes when they catch each other on a red carpet.

I'm not even sure how it can be gone for that many days still but I hope you are taking care of yourself and getting plenty of rest. I'm glad your work party was okay besides that though which sounds horrible actually. I hope it is a little better by your birthday. Do you have any fun plans?

Wow I guess we are opposites in that way! Coffee is just okay to me and I would never have any reason to drink it basically, if my sister didn't. That makes sense but I think I just prefer hot chocolate in the winter I guess and soda or maybe lemonade in the summer. But I drink soda everyday haha but have been drinking it for a long time and can barely remember ever not drinking it. But I think a lot of people don't drink it as much as I thought anymore so maybe I'm the weird one and I know it might be cuz it's bad for you. But maybe I like things that are really sweet compared to other people.

Well I'm not that familiar with it..I watched a bootleg a few years ago randomly and can't remember why. Otherwise I wouldn't know about it either. I don't even remember it that much except for the basic plot and some songs which I liked. it's the same composers of Cabaret and Chicago..Kander and Ebb, and has a similar vibe to those shows. Just like a show within a show vibes if you know what I mean and what's a fantasy and what's reality and that's why I said it could make a good movie, cuz Chicago did a similar thing in the movie.

Ooh I don't really make playlists and it's hard to know what to recommend to people but I would love that if you wanted to make a playlist for me! That sounds lovely. The songs I recommended to you before were more like rock so I wasn't sure if you would like it honestly. I could totally give you my favorite Paramore songs if you want but would also recommend all of their songs cuz listening to music is so subjective. I also recommend Hayley's solo music! She put out two albums in less than a year like Taylor did with Folklore and Evermore and they have a slower sad vibe that's also similar, but different than Paramore I guess and the lyrics are so good.

Sometimes I find live albums pretty distracting honestly if it includes the crowd but I love live performances recordings if it's like acoustic or stripped down so I would love it for the surprise songs. Like Lover live in Paris was good and Folklore long pond so I guess I wouldn't mind it. I think she released a few live versions right before Speak Now TV came out so it's a possibility.

Evermore is amazing to me..mostly the song but also the album, and the anniversary is today! So what are your favorites? Least Favorites or had to grow on you and do you like it more than Folklore? I think Evermore is hard for me cuz I don't have a lot of favorites on the album but my favorite song is on the album lol and I think its good combined with Folklore. What do you think? Also I see you have been able to get back into reading and enjoyed a few reads which is good. I still don't have time right now but I will continue my Night Circus read in January. I also hope you are resting and continue to feel better!!!

helloooo my dear friend! and OH that makes sense! i'm glad it made you laugh :) my voice keeps coming in and out, and i definitely have this like, you know how people sound when they're sick like kinda scratchy deeper voice? that's kind of how i sound. and of course this last month is when all my neighbors have decided they want to be my best friend and talk to me! and yes! i think my mom and i are doing lunch with my uncle on my birthday, and then i'm going to a hockey game that evening! this is the first year in a long time where i'm not celebrating my birthday by going to see a show (covid aside), so it feels very odd! i have literally no plans! to see any musicals! anytime soon! and that just feels SO very weird to me.

if it makes you feel any better, my ex-ex-boss (boss two jobs ago) drank SO much diet coke — i don't think i ever saw her drink water — so you could always be worse! almost all of my friends love soda, so i'm definitely the odd one out in my friend group! i do love a good lemonade though, and i will occasionally drink a hot choc when it's cold out!

it's funny you bring up bootlegs because i've had two different bootlegs downloaded on my computer to watch at some point for ... the last couple of months now? i hate having things on my desktop because i don't like the clutter so i've been keeping it there to incentivize myself to watch them but ... nope! haven't touched it! haven't even opened it to see if the sound works or anything! but i've got a few crafty projects i want to work on before the year's over, so maybe one of these nights i'll put a bootleg on and try to work on some crafts! i love things that are like [media] within a [media] — it's why i love the starless sea so much, and also the pippin revival! did we ever talk about schmigadoon/schmicago? i still haven't seen that either, but it seems to be that same format! ugh i really need to be better at watching tv / movies in 2024!

i would love to know your favorites! i'll work on the playlist sometime soon and then make my way through it :") i'm excited! i don't listen to a lot of rock — did i tell you i'm seeing fall out boy in the spring? so i do have to learn their music too! i didn't know hayley had her own solo music!! i'll have to add that to the playlist as well! i've been seeing the recent paramore anniversary vinyls on twitter and they're SO pretty!!! i'm always a sucker for a pretty vinyl (not that i have the space for more, nor should i get more — i say, as i have a bunch of vinyls coming)

i loveeeeed lover live from paris! i have the vinyl for it too but i'm too scared to spin it haha. i wish she did an evermore long pond, but i also think it'd be fun if she did a midnights long pond. i find that i tend to prefer the acoustic version of songs over the original, for some reason! just something about the stripped back version of things, i think.

happy (belated) evermore birthday! i think my favorites are: right where you left me, marjorie, and coney island, but i do very much love cowboy like me, evermore, tolerate it, gold rush, etc. the one song i always, always, always skip when i'm in the car is no body no crime — the sirens freak me out! ( i also live very close to a fire station ). do you prefer folklore more or evermore? i think cohesively i prefer evermore more, but i like my favorites on folklore a lot more than i do my favorites on evermore (save for marjorie). maybe i like folklore more, actually. i'm not sure, haha. what are your evermore favorites and folklore favorites?
