My dad surprised me with first row center tickets last night and I’ve been begging him to see the show for so long I was sooo freaking excited

I was literally grinning ear to ear through the entire thing. Easily makes my top three best things I’ve ever been to (Taylor swift concert, snl barricades are the other two lol).

This was my first time sitting front row at professional theater and it was so worth it. Its literally magical and I hope everyone gets to experience it at some point

Season 1, episodes 1-6

I forgot how good the writing and animation are in the first season, like they truly thrived under aniplex😔 the brief white blood period in I think season 3 shows us just how good we had it

I love seeing Hawk and Meliodas's relationship, and his star Boar earring😭 plus having the Boar hat as the main location is just so comforting !!

Also I JUST realized his name is hawk because of a ham hok😭😭 this is like when I realized toe mater's name was tomato at the ripe age of 18

I miss the holy knights being powerful. Like I get that the Sins are always more powerful than them, had a long way to go in terms of power ups, and meliodas straight up had most of his power sealed but like DAMN. They were so cool in season 1 !! Gil was such a badass😭 I guess I just wish that the holy knights powered up along with the Sins

Seeing the very first episode got me thinking about the original pilot Manga (chapter 0) and how cool it might have been !! Like I love the story we got, but I do think those versions of Mel and Elizabeth maybe would have been better than the ones we got😳 like I just really like Meli's original design, I feel like he looks a bit older, and chapter 0 Elizabeth is simply superior ngl. She's funny, brave, and assertive - a lot more like Liz and goddess Elizabeth, except funnier

The first half of season 1 has one of my fave intro and outros like damn I forgot how fucking cool they were. Some of my fave songs to !! (my all time fave is def howling from season 3 part 2 (i think lol) tho)

Overall, I think the attention to detail is just better, the sounds the armor makes, the animation and drawings (esp background characters), Meliodas just sounds a bit older too (and I have theories on his voice here if u want them 👀)

The whole perv thing is really exhausting really quickly. Almost surprised 14 year old me made it through this as the 2nd anime I ever watched and the 1st I watched alone

I feel like Diane got shorter through the seasons. Like she doesn't compare to Hawk Mama like she did in season 1, and I think that's a damn shame. Let my giant girl be giant !!

She's also a decent bit more violent and I enjoy that thoroughly. She's just a silly goofy kween😌

Okay SO in episode 5, when Ban is about to get his scar from the dragon handle sword, he tells Meliodas "you and me have been hanging together for a lot of years now." This scene takes place 12 years before present (bp). Does this mean Ban and Meliodas were friends before the formation of the Sins? Or was Ban the first after him and Merlin? Ban has been immortal 20 years BP, leaving 8 years in between present and the flashback. 8 years before this scene, Meliodas was still in Danafal/Danfor and would be for another 4 years. What does any of this mean? Idk, just thot it was intriguing lol.

Also how did I not notice this is the first time we see demon!Meliodas !! Baby's first sighting as an unnatural creature with otherworldly rage🥰🥰

Also the fact we never see the scar Gil gave him again lol. Plus him presumably needing to do demon mode so hellfire can heal him is actually rlly cool

Just thought about how Elizabeth laying her hand on his chest to check the scar was the first time in years his love touches him with gentleness or concern🥲🥲

A/N: Hi, loves! Here’s some fluffy Lucas for the day! I’ve been meaning to write this for a little while now, and I was in my Lucas feels today day, can you please stay in your lane? never, have you met nct? I cannot get over how cute that giant puppy is, dear lord help us all, he’s too precious for this world. Hope you enjoy!~

As the music stopped, you let your body sink to the ground. Every single one of your muscles ached but you found the feeling delicious, equating it to just how hard you had been working. You laid flat on your back, arms spread wide at from sides, legs tented, eyes closed as you focused on the feeling of your lungs pulling in deep breaths and your heart trying to return to a normal pace. You felt so good, like electricity lit up every inch of your skin, pride beaming from you from the inside out.

This was the first time the two of you had gotten everything right. You listened to the footsteps of your partner as he crossed the dance room, the sound of him shuffling through his bag, and then the sound of his movements bringing him back closer to you. You squinted your eyes open, locking eyes with Lucas just as his head popped over to you, his signature happy smile plastered on his features. “Good job,” he drawled, his deep voice vibrating in your ears. You hummed in response, offering him a smile back. Lucas drew the towel from around his shoulders to dab at his forehead, before playfully letting it slap down over your eyes, but you were too tired to yell out in protest like normal.

You had been paired with the giant boy for an event for SM’s showcase, being picked from a handful of lesser known dancers that flittered behind the scenes and filled spaces in other idol choreography- not that you’d complained. You’d liked it that way- really. Through your work, you got to see how much idols struggled and knew it wasn’t for you- you wanted to be able to go to school without worry, hang out with your friends and say what you wanted without concern, go out on dates and kiss without wondering who might be watching. At the last thought, your cheeks flushed just slightly and you pulled the towel down from your eyes to cover your face more, peeking up at Lucas again with one eye. You wondered, not for the first time, if he ever thought about missing out on things like that, too. When the opportunity had come around for the showcase, auditions to join different SM idols in different stages, you had immediately jumped into training and worked your tail off to get to where you were- though you expected to be on a different stage, backing up a girl or part of a large group. You had been floored when you’d been told you’d be doing a duet, and nearly passed out when you’d found out it was with him.

Lucas was handsome- there was no denying it. He’d be the first to admit it, you thought with amusement, your gaze fluttering over his features as he focused on his phone, fiddling with it in his big hands. And, he was nice. You weren’t invited to NCT stages before; but, you had met him in passing in the halls and backstage at different shows, and he was always polite, always offering a smile, always down for a conversation, even if time ran it short. It was a welcome change from some of the other idols you had met and worked with, who hardly bothered to look in your direction, nonetheless know your name. You smiled, fondly, as you remembered the very first day the two of you had turned up in the room together: you offering a messy bow and flustered introduction and him greeting you with, “Y/N- we’ve met before! I know your name already, silly!”

Lucas was almost too much to handle sometimes, you swore. Over the last month of training, spending countless hours together in the room, pressed tightly together where the choreography required it, you two had grown close. He didn’t indulge you with stories of idol life and you didn’t ask- interested. Instead, you asked him about himself and what made Lucas Lucas, and he was happy to oblige, giving you an insight on Yukhei and his likes and dislikes, what scared him, his favorite hyungs. And he wondered about you, too, and made you feel listened to as you complained about the mundanity of your life- how your plant had died, how you tore your favorite stockings on the subway, how you had nearly failed an assignment recently and had to make it up with extra hours and credit before your classes and practice.

Suddenly, Lucas sat up with a loud yell, causing you to jump up in response, your wide eyes searching him like he grew three heads. “What on earth-”

Suddenly, your legs were no longer on the ground and Lucas was swinging you around, scooping you up in his arms and spinning you in a circle, holding you close to him with a joyful round of laughter coming from deep within his chest and filling up the space. “Y/N!!!” he boomed, causing your ears to ring, as he lifted you up a little higher. “We’re going to kill this performance! Do you know that?”

Your face flushed again at the close proximity of him and his reckless abandon, but you found yourself laughing along with him, playfully battering your fists against his shoulders while he continued to giggle. “You big oaf! Put me down! This is kidnapping!”

“But I want to keep you here forever!” His words were shouted back with earnest and, even though you knew Lucas and knew he meant them genuinely, no hidden meaning behind them, your heart still fluttered against your ribs. He stopped spinning you but still held you in the air, keeping your weight by pressing you tight against him, and you worried that he’d feel the hammering of your heart against his chest. You stole a glance at him and he was just watching you, that same, easy, big, goofy smile painted across his lips. You chose to look over his shoulder instead.

“Well, you have to put me down so we can run through again- so, there,” you stated, definitively, offering a smack to his shoulder again when he looked entirely too crestfallen, though you knew it was just the trick of his charm. “Don’t look like that!”

Reluctantly, he let you down and he crossed his arms, wiggling his upper body at you in an over exaggeratedly, petulantly cute way. You rolled your eyes, patting him on the arm and moving past him towards the stereo, equal parts relieved for the distance and disappointed that the touch ended. Just as it began.

As you crouched down to get the music started again, Lucas found his way to his starting spot again, sighing loudly, ever dramatic. “Ya’know, Y/N, you really are the best dancer out there. I mean that,” he said suddenly, causing you to pause what you were doing, though keeping your eyes focused in front of you. “This dance wouldn’t be half as amazing if anyone else had been chosen. I’m glad it was you.”

“Don’t get all sentimental on me now,” you laughed back after a pause, trying to lighten the mood back. Lucas frowned at your back but you didn’t notice, and you quickly pressed the play button and scurried over to where he stood, knowing that you only had a few seconds before the music queued up, ending any discussion.

Though you had just aced the dance once, you knew you would have to get it absolutely perfect each time within the next week to be stage-ready. Lucas wasn’t really ever the problem, and you cursed yourself for getting so distracted sometimes by having him so close, by having his hands on you, by the way he looked at you. It was all part of the stage presence, but sometimes you forgot a step- and how to breathe- when you both got too wrapped up in each other. You just had to force yourself to focus.

As the music began, and you and Lucas started to move, things felt different and a little bittersweet. After this performance, you weren’t sure if you’d ever really get a chance to see Lucas again- in passing, sure, but things would just go back to those polite, friendly smiles, those brief backstage and hallway conversations, and you weren’t quite ready to give up the friendship that had bloomed within these mirrored walls.

Your energy up, you and Lucas danced with and against each other, locking eyes, fingers, hands, brushing skin on skin and melting into each other like the dance required. A tug and pull and ebb and flow- your stage was titled ‘Water and Fire’- and, though you had just done it perfectly the moment before, something felt different about it now, a different energy sparking between you both as you added emotion to it.. or maybe it was just yours, playing tricks on you.

Either way, you both ended flawlessly, dancing on the last few beats where you pulled away from Lucas and he tugged you back to his form, his hands ending by cupping your cheeks between his hands, your hands on his, and your frames pressed flush against one another. The music faded on the last beat and you both breathed hard against each other, chests bumping, faces close together. Your eyes were locked on one another, your focus on him as everything else in the room melted away into a distant background, and you shared his breath as you both panted hard between parted lips.

Suddenly, any air you had left was stolen from you as Lucas closed his eyes, leaned forward, and captured your lips in his, one hand leaving your face to wrap an arm around your waist, keeping you close to him. Your body went on autopilot as you closed your eyes and felt yourself kissing him back, and you were grateful for him holding you up, because you were sure your knees went too weak in that moment to keep you standing.

You both stood there like that for a long moment, the deep kiss sending a whole knew wave of electricity through you than the one you had rejoiced over not even ten minutes earlier. You began to pull away first, but Lucas only chased after your lips, peppering a few quick kisses after you, before allowing you to retreat from him, giving him a doe-eyed look and taking in his plump, bruised lips and big, pride-filled grin.

“Please, just let me just keep you here forever.”

-And... Finished! - you heard your best friend and tutor’s voice as the song’s beat stopped. You didn’t know how you were alive yet after sweating that much. 

-YES! - you screamed throwing your arms up expecting God to have mercy of you and pull you to the sky faster. Suho walked to you and messed up your hair.

-I was going to praise you but you really need to shower, girl! Even your hair’s sweating! - he made a fake disgusting face and you hit his ass with your leg.

-Oh, yeah? Suddenly, i really want to hug you...- you opened your arms with a goofy smile. 

Before he even screams, you already had your arms around his body in a tight hug. Your head resting on his chest. You could feel how warm he was, Suho always learned the choreographies with you. You two were like that since you had joined SM as a trainee two years ago. All the others trainees didn’t like you and bullied you because you are a foreigner. One day, Suho was passing through the practice rooms and saw the girls pushing you on purpose so you missed the choreography, and then yelling at you for making a mistake. He entered the room and acted like you were really friends while all the girls were shocked because Kim Junmyeon from EXO was there. He got you out of there and offered himself to be your tutor. You didn’t even know who he was, but you felt so grateful that you cried while hugging him. You talked for hours that day and less than one week after you already were best friends.

-Seems like you need a shower too now... - you said and he made a disgusting face.

-I should make you wash me, kid. -  you stared at him in shock. He sticked his tongue to you before running from the practice room, screaming that you couldn’t reach him with your small legs. 

You two got in Suho’s car already smelling good. 

-I’m sorry. - you were playing with your fingers. Suho frowned and you continued. - It’s almost 3AM and you have your own schedule today. You will be so tired...

There was no sign of life in the company this late, but Suho got the keys. You two usually leave at 10pm and eat out together, but today you were having difficulties. Now you felt guilty. Great.

-Ya, look at me. - your best friend said and you did. - You worry too much about others, i’m fine! I wouldn’t sleep earlier anyway with Sehun’s truck snore.

You laughed and he pinched your cheek before turning on the car and leaves the SM’s garage. You turned on the radio and started singing. Suho joined you, smiling while driving carefully. You smiled too.

-Oh, we are near that place i wanted to show you! - he exclaimed, making you jump. - Can we go there? Please, please?

-What?! Jun, it’s 3AM! I haven’t even paid for this cellphone yet, if someone robs me...

-I’ll buy you five of these! Please... - he pouts at you. Oh, you forgot. Suho have money. So much that he doesn’t care to pay a hundred on a giant lollipop. If it was not you scolding him every useless thing with an ridiculous high price that he wanted to bought, he would be broke already.

-Fine, fine! Pay attention on the road!

As soon as you two got out of the car, you laughed. Laughed nervously.

-No. No, no, no. No way i will get into this forest! 

-Come on, (Y/N)! I've coming here a million times. - he turned his own cellphone’s flashlight. You got chills only by looking at the darkness around the tall trees.

-After midnight?! No, I can’t do this. I will be waiting SAFE for you inside the car. - you turn around and started walking, but your feets were lifted off the ground. - No! I’m serious, Junmyeon! LET ME GO! I’M NOT KIDDING, THERE’S NO WAY I'M GONNA ENTER THERE!”

You kept your arms firmly around his shoulders with your face hidden in his neck. He was carrying you for five minutes now with just one hand, the other was lighting the mud road. You felt bad for him and was almost facing your fear of dark because you could feel him trembling of tiredness.

-We arrived, crybaby. You can look now. - you jumped from his arms to check if he was okay, but the view from there caught your eye. Even at night, the houses and buildings’ lights were amazingly beautiful together. You could see the whole Seul. - Beautiful, right?

-It’s worth it...

-What do you mean by that? It was me who walked through the mud with a crybaby on my arms! - Suho crossed his arms and you laughed.

-Ya! You just fucked the whole cute scene! - you hit his arm and he smiled.

Suho caught your hand and took you to the tip of the "cliff", sitting down. You did the same. You stayed there, feeling the cold wind hit your faces. If you could frozen a moment forever, it would be this one. It is truth when they say the higher you are the fresher the air.

-Are you happy? - Suho asked out of nowhere. - Being a trainee for two years isn’t easy.

-It’s not. I think about the people that trained for a long time and never debuted everyday. I think if i will be that person.

-Ya, don’t say such things! You are talented, beautiful and cool times to times. - he joked and you rolled your eyes with a smile. - You will debut and if SM doesn’t do this, i will start a company just to debut you!

-Thank you. - you answered squeezing his hand with yours. - It’s also tough because once you debut, you don’t have a personal life. You can’t date, you can't go to parties, you can't have friends from different genre... I never even kis-

The sentence died on your throat. What were you about to say?! Sure, Suho was your bestfriend, but you never told him this. He always told you about the girls he got and you always had fun with his stories. You just never had an interesting love life to tell.

 -I know it.

-What? How? Oh no, my mom sent you messages again!

-No! - Suho laughed loud, probably remembering when you were talking to your mom by facetime and he snapped. She felt in love with him immediately. She can’t even talk to you anymore without asking about Suho and if you are finally dating. - You never told me about men. It’s obvious.

-Shut up! - you yelled, feeling your cheeks blushing. Thank God everything was dark there.

-So you want to be kissed before you debut? That’s it?

You felt your heart beat faster that moment. With that holding hands. With that provocative smile on your best friend’s face. Suddenly, it was difficult to control your breathing.

-N-No! You misunderstanded it! I only said about idols that can’t even date, not that i’m interested on it, b-but-

In a blink of an eye, your best friend’s lips were on yours, touching it gently. It was only a popo, but it already felt so good. He held your face with his cold hand, caressing it. You suddenly pushed him away, recovering your senses (or not).

-W-WHAT DID YOU DO? - you yelled at him while touching your lips. He laughed. Cute.

-Didn’t you like it? - he approached you, but you pushed him again.

-I... I... Shut up! - you couldn’t admit you liked it. No, you loved it. - Don’t you ever do this to me again, you pabo! 

He was surprised, asking himself if he did wrong. You stared at him, pouting while looking away. You stared at his body, his face, his lips. Everything seemed so attractive. No. You certainly don’t have experience on this, but you watched too many doramas and movies, and you know that nothing good happens after 2am. At least it’s what Ted Mosby said. 

You stood up. You didn’t know what to do next, because it’s more probably of you to jump off of that cliff than go back through the forest’s darkness alone. When you were almost considering the “jump the cliff” idea, you felt the cold hand holding your arm gently.

 The next second you already were colliding your lips, craving for his touch. You didn’t know why you did this, but that was the first time you liked so much your name just by slipping of that lips. His tongue invaded your mouth gently and you start playing with each others’. Omg yeah x/y was honestly such a good era I loved mega evolutions (wtf happened to them?? Like we just got different renditions in the form of z moves and gigantamaxing ?? YES i loved mega evolutions but everything after that felt like it was trying too hard to be gimmicky…i’m in the same boat i’ve played all of the 3ds games and a few of the ds ones but none of the switch ones.
