Karlach and Durge's relationship has fun elements that I, for some reason, started thinking on this morning.

Aside from some similarities (the offspring/descendent of powerful beings of the lower planes, whose kind are brought into existence as pawns/displays of power; were given basically no choice about serving their evil relative; who are/were made into living weapons; and the homicidal rages they need to keep under control (and as Zariel is known for her seething homicidal rage, Karlach could actually have inherited it the way Durge gets it from Bhaal))

There's that delightful 'I can fix them' mentality Karlach is bringing to the relationship. Always a good sign. We learned nothing from the Gortash shenanigans.

She talks about getting Durge psychiatric help when they get the city and, while that's a nice sentiment (and I assume she's actually talking about clerical healing at a fully staffed temple or something), I do remember what Faerûn's 'asylums' ('howling keeps') are like, and being locked up in a cell forever (at best) does not strike me as a good time. I just picture Durge hearing that, thinking of how people handle the dangerously 'crazed-witted' and getting ready to bolt. No nope nope no.

Speaking of Gortash: assuming Durge's handwriting hasn't been fundamentally altered by the TBI, they're going to recognise themselves praising the evil genius that is the guy who sold their new friend/lover to slavery in Hell and then have to look Karlach in the eye.

Then there's issue that is Gortash and Durge vs Durge and Karlach vs Gortash and Karlach's relationships. Even though Gortash is projecting and doesn't think there is an issue. 'That was literally a month-to-a-decade ago, why are you mad?' And I'm pasting that conversation, because I like looking at it.

Karlach: 'I don't give a shit about your agreement.' Lord Enver Gortash: 'Then why in the Nine Hells have you come back here, Karlach? What could you possibly want?!' Karlach: 'How about an apology for sending me to the Hells?' Lord Enver Gortash: 'Sorry?! You want me to be sorry for helping you gain more power than you've ever known? That thing in your chest is a blessing I helped you receive. One you're too much of a fool to see. I gave you a clean slate. A chance to rejoin me for our mutual benefit - again.'

(What a guy. God, I want to cut his skull open with a spoon and stare at the contents.)

Durge, of course can start swooning over how brilliant the durgetash alliance is, or, not unreasonably, assume - having only Karlach's accounts of Gortash's betrayal, and the knowledge that they were brutally tortured for a month in the building where the guy works - that he might've fucked them over too.

'I seem to have trusted you once, and it ruined me. I'm not about to repeat that mistake.'

Are we stewing in mutual resentment of an old partner, or are we going to hit a massive problem if Durge wants something of their old life back? There is so much unexplored drama in this part of Act 3 and their mutual arc, it pains me.

Plus Karlach should probably be wondering if Durge had anything to do with her enslavement. They almost certainly didn't timeline wise, because if Karlach was shipped off to Avernus 10 years ago then she was gone the year Bhaal came back and gained the ability to pick Chosen, so the window of opportunity for Durge and Gortash to meet (if it exists) is insanely narrow. But the doubt should be there.

And of course the fact that if you romance her and she undergoes ceremorphosis you can tell her how hot it is when she eats people's brains and she goes 'thanks love.'

Pre-TBI prison era thing were The Mech Trio finds out Lyfrassir is going on a blind date they're dreading and can't back out of so Marius wants to shoot his shot and begs his wingwoman (literally love using that term so much bc of Raphaella) to help set it up.

They take out the competition (not dead but probably a dick and deserved it anyway) and Marius shows up in the date's place in a poorly veiled disguise that Lyf sees through immediately, but plays along with anyway (while innocently poking holes in Marius's disguise) because it proves to be way a more interesting and fun evening than they expected.

Please consider the following: Marius being starstruck bc Lyf dressed up really nice and he's never seen them outside a work uniform before. The date being at a very nice fancy restaurant that they both prove to dislike so Marius drags Lyf out to do stuff that's more fun (but sadly just the legal stuff). Lyf being very suspicious and concerned the second they spot Marius but over the evening start having fun and realizing Marius's whole scheme was literally just going on a date with them and they have no idea what to do with their feelings now. The two get to do silly stupid couple stuff and after initial awkwardness are just so chill with each other and just click bc of the years of banter and interactions. At the end of the night Marius walks Lyf home and they say something like "I had fun tonight von Raum, but I'd better see you at work tomorrow." Leaving Marius way more down bad than before (and not missing the insane trust of letting him know where Lyf lives)

Okay. Watching The Bad Batch for the first time and I’ve only gotten 2/3rds of the way thru the first season thus far, but I feel I now understand the characters well enough to start making conjectures.

So here’s what I’ve got so far:

Due to the inherent Muchness of heightened senses, I wouldn’t doubt a sensory processing disorder for Hunter. It’s clear that he’s gotten a handle on it (aka learned to adapt to, compensate for, and understand it) by the time TBB appears in The Clone Wars, but I bet it was hard to deal with when he was younger.

Wrecker appears to have a developmental/learning/intellectual disability of some sort, compounded by a TBI. He struggles with bigger words and is impulsive, along with other notable markers. This could have stemmed from the accident that left the facial scar and blinded his eye, but it seems that, based on how the other three original bad batch clones act around him, that this has always been a thing. A TBI likely added to this, because he seriously just keeps getting smacked in the head, the poor guy. He’s just a walking headache.

That being said, he likely gets lots of migraines. Seriously, that much head-smacking can’t result in a fun, happy time up in his head, pain-wise. I suspect the other four get them, too. Hunter has to process a lot of information from all senses, and Crosshair from his sight. That’s a lot to deal with, and I know I get headaches from a lot less. Tech… he’s staring at screens all day. Blue-light headaches much? And Echo… he’s literally got so much going on up there, technology wise, that it’s undoubtedly the cause of many a migraine. He’s one bad interface connection from a seizure, practically.

Crosshair has some attachment issues, I think. Like I believe all the clones would, had they not been programmed otherwise. They never got held by a caring individual, for gods sake. Maybe later generations had older brothers to hold them every so often, but that’s not enough. They never got one-on-one care. And, since his programming never kicked in correctly, Crosshair has all of that just shoved into his twig body. So, RAD, due to his obviously avoidant nature.

Tech is autistic and I don’t think that’s debatable, really. Like that textbook autism (which leads to a discussion about his savant nature being paired with a highly autistic-coded character and the harmful impact that could create for us autistic people in real life. The same harm of Wrecker’s disability vs how he’s treated as an ‘it’ in the show (said explicitly by Cid) and how Crosshair, with evident attachment issues, is demonised as the villain. BUT THATS ITS OWN ESSAY TO WRITE.)

Omega has ADHD and that one’s not heavily coded like the rest, but I think it fits!

None of them have true favourite siblings, but each are easier to go to for different things. Hunter, for leadership and emotional advice. Crosshair, for silent understanding (pre-chip activation). Wrecker, for emotional understanding and grounding. Tech, for intellectual advice and rationality. Echo, for interpersonal advice. Omega, for intrapersonal advice and a fresh, new perspective on everything.

I truly believe, in my heart of hearts, that Hunter would have the highest, shrillest scream. It doesn’t make sense, but it just seems right (to me personally).

Tech and Echo spend a lot of time on Echo’s implants and prostheses. Echo clearly isn’t using them for their original intent—some not even used at all—so they have to be updated, modified, or taken out. (As evidenced by the—I’m assuming what is a—neural interface he now wears and the lack of other implants he used to have in TCW.)

Echo has chronic pain, due to phantom limbs. That, and it must take a lot out of him for those prostheses. They're melded to him in a way that seems... not user-friendly. Techno Union wasn't doing it because they wanted him to live a fulfilling life. They did it because they needed him. They wouldn't care about his pain. It's unlikely that he doesn't feel constant pain. I'm guessing his everyday average pain level it's equivalent to what normal people (i.e.: people who aren't me or other chronic pain-havers) would consider a 4 out of 10.

I have a feeling that most of them know the basics of swimming, but likely aren’t good at it—Wrecker especially. And, with all that armour, it probably wouldn’t matter if they could swim or not. That shit will absolutely sink them. Omega, once taught, would LOVE IT, though.

Crosshair would let a tooka adopt him. As in, he would let the cat follow him around. Whether or not he’d do anything for or about the tooka… I don’t know. But he’d allow it. (Wrecker would dote on the thing if it followed him. Lula and said tooka would be his best buds. He may like explosions, but he’s a sweet guy at heart!)

Echo and Crosshair have absolutely held staring contests. Asserting dominance. (Somehow, despite not having been involved in the first place, Wrecker has won at least two of them.)

Hunter has a taste for meilooruns. Tech does not.

All of them snore. Echo’s even has an electronic buzzing to it. Tech is absolutely the loudest. Omega has wished to smother them all in their sleep.

I think that cappuccino isnt usually intimidated by people ,,, if anything shes the one who usually is intimidating others but for some reason langues parents Actually scare the living shit oit of her like he does NOT want to talk to them ever.

Langues parents dont rlly like her (disorganized, constantly grumpy, messy appearence, smoker, coffee addict, etc. just a bad influence for their perfect precious angel child) but like They arent MEAN about it they just. Respectfully dislike her. they arent even mean or rude to cap in any way but once shes around them she starts acting really awkward and unlike himself like. Trying to stand straighter and sound more professional. they ask her if she likes burgers and shes like "oh great heavens no!! theyre far too greasy for my tastes" and langue is like ??? Are you ok do i need to rush you to a hospital are you havinf a stroke rn

like. its ooc but thats the point and its very funny to me HZBDKFB cappu can ridicule people in court all the time, she doesnt neccesarily care what people think of him and doesnt put much effort in his appearence because of that (unless its something that will actually affect her reputation and interfere with his job), but when langue is like Oh my parents will be there then suddenly for some reason cappuccino is desperately trying to get all the tangles out of her hair with his fingers. Do you see my vision

possibly its because of cappuccinos past experiences with her parents (she had Awful biological parents and equally as bad adoptive ones) but idk . havent thought much about that.

Anyways i do think that cappu grows on langues parents . Langue would hide their relationship for as long as they can (they know that their parebts already dont like cap very much and they are Very overprotective and picky about partners) and while their parents would probably give cap some looks at the start i think . they would grow to like her and probably spoil him just as much as langue . Which she is not used to ! Cappu is not used to supportive and affectoionate parents

Having a really terrible time rn so I'm here to distract myself with thinking about your stormchaser au because my job training today had us do 3 separate "severe weather" information and response trainings.

Anyways I've been thinking a lot about the implications and consequences of a head injury severe enough to give amnesia and I think this was a plot point and not supposed to be like something backed up by giving Ford medically accurate symptoms and disabilities but that's what happens when you're a disabled gravity falls fan in the medical field.

So a severe traumatic brain injury on that level is gonna have some things that are what you'd expect (vision changes, delayed reactions and confusion, issues with decision making and starting tasks and all that fun executive function stuff long term as well...) but also a common symptom, especially if there's damage to the right hemisphere in general, is impulsiveness as well as personality and mood changes just being a thing.

And I imagine for a while after he wakes up and is treated and even after he's released from the hospital and staying with Jack that's really tough - because I imagine at checkups they're gonna ask repeatedly if there's been any significant changes to his mood, functioning, abilities, and "Bill" and Jack have no clue at all. They have no idea who he was and if it's different.

So when Stan and Ford reunite I imagine it's a relief in you can tell me who I was kind of way but also hard bc Stan definitely sees that Ford's changed. Significantly. But is it because of time? Is it because of new influences? Is it because he didn't know who he was so he became someone different? Or is it a fucking symptom?

I got ahead of myself this ask was supposed to be about imagine "Bill" and Jack going to the grocery store soon after Bill gets out of the hospital and is convinced yes he actually should stay with Jack for the time being and they have a grocery list but Ford/Bill is putting pretty much everything in the cart because he's having a really hard time with impulse control and 20 bananas is not excessive we could need them what if I wake up feeling like eating 20 bananas and Jacks like. This man's a mess. Compels me though

What you were saying about the personality change and the doctors asking if "Bill's" personality changed after the accident and neither Jack nor "Bill" knowing how to answer it, that's something that I've actually addressed in a different AU. Because I am a hoarder of AUs and I have one where STAN lost his memory in an accident and that's something that was brought up in stuff I wrote for it because I am a Scientist and I do my Research.

Idk if I've addressed the personality change thing much in Storm Chasers AU (which, btw very glad that my little AU is on your mind, it makes me happy people are thinking about and enjoying my stuff), but I have set that up! At least in my head. The biggest thing: "Bill" is remarkably chill. Like, he's just an easygoing kinda go with the flow type of guy for the most part. He's very sweet and gentle and just sort of accepts things and takes life slowly. The taking life slowly is partially due to, as you pointed out, some function being lost from the traumatic brain injury, but it's also partially due to said TBI causing a personality change.

Some aspects of the Original Ford do pop up every now and then. He still gets all Researcher Excited about things, particularly the weird and magical things of Gravity Falls. But he has a different perspective than canon Ford. He treats the magical creatures with more respect and viewing them almost as peers. Once he's calmed down from his initial reaction of "omg omg OMG!" Even with his respect for them, many of the magical creatures don't really like Ford, just bc he goes overboard excited with them so much.

Another thing that sticks around, sorta burned into Ford's DNA at this point, is his, ah, "difficult" relationship with his father. When "Bill" and Jack adopt their first son (the Shapeshifter, whom they name Forrest), "Bill" is constantly fretting about whether he'll be a good father or not. He's paranoid and scared and confused and Jack has never seen this side of him. Jack eventually gets "Bill" to calm down by promising that he'll help keep "Bill" in line and let him know if he does anything wrong. And then he says that he won't need to step in at all bc he knows his partner.

(And then a few times Filbrick's parenting shows up and Jack does need to step in.)

I agree "Bill" has some impulse control issues. Arguably, canon Ford has those already (as does Stan, in some ways, worse than Ford), and those just get dialed up to eleven for "Bill". "Bill" constantly trying to throw things into the shopping cart is just a sign of what is to come. Luckily, Jack has the patient of a saint. Jack also finds "Bill" incredibly attractive, which definitely helps with his tolerance for the odd behaviors lol.

Favourite Doctor: Nine for legal reasons. I love him so much I really do. Ten if I'm being honest, but that's only because we got more from him. I love Nine, I do, I really do, but... ahfrhvfvrgjvfhjrgv Tennn <3 I love them both equally, don't try to make me choose a favourite child. One of them is just way more visually having a mental breakdown (Nine). The other one just looks more genderqueer.

Favourite Series: Season 4 specials. No, no, I mean, yeah. I love season 1 because... Nine <3 and it's just really good. Season 2 is fantastic too but The Idiot's Lantern sucked SO MUCH that it just... sorry it gets ranked like one spot lower. Season 3 was brilliant, and I loved the finale as uh... as I'm sure you could never tell. Season 4 <333 Donna Noble <333 it was very good, I was very worried that Ten was going to regenerate in Journey's End. But like... season 4 specials <333 Time Lord Victorious <33 THE END OF TIMMEE Arghjfjr but if i had to choose not that... idk, idk. Season 1? Season 4? Not sure, they're all so good. Yes Eleven's seasons aren't on here for a reason, tehy're good but they don't hold a candle to RTD era, frankly. Also season 6 is bothering me.

Favourite Episode: season 1 episode 6 dalek. SEASON 1 EPISODE 6 DALEK. I could talk about how abnormal I am about that episode for... years. I bought the novelisation. I BOUGHT THE NOVELISATION. I watched it 4 or 5 times in two days. I literally could not move on to episode 7. I couldn't. It was that bloody good. Second favourite is Midnight (legal reasons) or The Doctor's Daughter (i will never forgive st*ven m*ffat for the ending)

Girl about the family day concept 🤭🩷

You live in London and usually drive up to Manchester on Friday and semd the weekend with him.

Maybe you told him you were not going to be able to be there cause you have an emergency at work or you have to do your overtime...so of course he is super sad cause not only you were not going to be there fir the family day but he won't be able to see you that week.

Of course he can't be so sad cause it's not on your power, you just had to stay in London and summer is going to be over for the first time for more than a day so he has to make sure to be the best uncle everyone no sadness accepted

You somehow manage to do all the work on Saturday, maybe working till super late, let's say midnight, so you run home, have a shower and get in your car/train and go to Manchester.

You arrive at 5 am and call him, he answers the phone and is super scared cause why would you call him at this time and you just tell him to open the door...he doesn't connect the dots immediately so you tell him that you're outside and you're freezing so he gets up and looks out of his window course he still doesn't belive you and you're actually there.

He opens the door and after hugs and kisses you go back to bed.

In the morning summer has the habit to go in uncle Mason bed and wake him up but as soon as she opens the door and sees you die starts to scream all excited so you wake up and it's all a big group cuddle.

You and his family have breakfast all together and have a perfect morning with him taking you around Manchester with summer on his shoulders and you by his side.

After lunche you go at the training pitch and it's all fun with Mason and Summer running around.

At some point you sit down with jaz and Debbie and they start talking about how good Mason is with summer and Mila, and you obviously agree.

My favorite mechanism is The Toy Soldier!! (As you can probably guess lol) I just. Love it so much jkgmfjfgf. Like Its both the dissonance between its cheerful appearance and how it will murder you in cold blood without remorse if someone told it to (and even if not) and how it is an artificial being and yet it longs for companionship and pretends to be alive both bc thats whats been asked of it initially and bc it wants to be included and when all of its friends died it felt it had no reason to keep pretending so it stopped and just. You know what im talking about. Also its silly

My favorite album is Ulysses Dies at Dawn!! I like pretty much all the songs from it, I was a greek mythology/percy jackson kid so recognising the references there was fun, and I generally like stories involving being denied an ending/ending as a release (not for any reason related to my current mental state dw im fine. Also yes thats why i like DoNA but thats unrelated rn). And also it has Orpheus my beloved <3 if you (addressing also any potential readers here) haven't read the fictions for this album already please do they're fantastic. But if you don't usually read the fictions and want the best stuff first, read the ones that have Orpheus in their titles (i don't have the patience to find exactly what they're called on the website but theres like two of em and they're really good).

I'm a sucker for songs combining previous leitmotifs/parts from other songs and its the perfect song of 'conclusion' to the first part of tbi with its mystery theme before we find out what really happened yk. FENIXE AND I DIDNT PLAN CHAL AND BEL GETTING TOGETHER AT AAAAALLLL just like everything we’ve ever done it just sort of happened! So Chal was pretty solidly the way she was since before Bel, BUT certain traits of hers did definitely end up becoming emphasized just by nature of putting the two of them next to each other especially one specific thing like

The thing about Bel is that, as a mindreader and also as a split god linked to his own twin sibling, Bel’s not…. good at…….. communicating his own thoughts and feelings? Like Bel’s always been used to Ty just knowing everything about him all the time cause the two of them are ALWAYS in each others heads they can’t turn it off. That’s not to say Bel isn’t extremely well spoken and emotionally intelligent he just uh. Forgets to Do That On The Outside.

‘Cause then you put him next to someone like Chal who is not only incredibly imperceptive of how other people are feeling (she has gotten so much better with this but lmao still!!) but also NOT in tune with her OWN thoughts and emotions, and so all of that “Chal-ness” about Chal just jumped way more intensely to the forefront. Bel’s always poker faced and never reveals what he’s feeling - Chal, his partner, is frantically babbling every single thing she’s thinking and experiencing the second anything pops into her head. Bel himself summed up pretty concisely a while ago (yes I went back to 2017 to find tbis exact quote lol) - “I think the way we love each other is different.  You're more intense, I'm more subtle.”

so was that on PURPOSE okay no like I said Chal was never designed with Bel specifically in mind but. Is this something about Chal that’s become more pronounced as she developed alongside Bel! yyeeessss. So to foil alongside Bel Chal has gotten LOUDER and BABBLIER

fun fact re all of this though that idk if I’ve ever shared - they have had MANY conversations about their extreme communication differences cause it has caused problems due to Chal not!! being able to read minds and Bel!! forgetting that not everyone can read minds!!!!! They have a rule set up between them that Chal can ask at any time “what are you thinking” and Bel will always answer honestly no exceptions 💞 Chal asks this 40 times a day and it’s become so second nature to them that she’s even occasionally slipped up and done it to like, Tory, Gany, lol

For Icy: I’ve yet to formally do anything about this in canon but Icy’s still on and off crushing on Chal solely because I think it’s really funny so i’m stalling as long as possible since Neo and Icy are forever endgame anyway. HOWEVER I have discovered in my daydream planning that the way Icy will finally and definitively stop fawning over her is gonna be the moment he finally has an actual in depth conversation with Chal in order to discover that Chal, just like Icy, is an anxious wreck disaster - maybe even more so - and the shock of looking in a metaphorical mirror will be enough to knock some sense back into him. No way can Icy be the put together confident one in a relationship they can’t BOTH be falling apart aahhhh. Icy’s gonna realise that he can only date an opposite! HMM WHO’S ICY’S POLAR OPPOSITE AND CONVENIENTLY HIS BEST FRIEND AT HIS SIDE —

For Pho: this came to light for me the moment Pho and Chal actually met each other in canon cause I hadn’t realized how Pho was going to behave until he was behaving as such (I said, as the person responsible for writing and controlling all of these characters — shhhhhhhh) — is the discovery that Pho REALLY can’t stand Chal and it’s NOT for any of the reasons anyone else has hated her lmfao?! Literally nothing to do with Thanatos?!?!!

Pho and his dayglo glitter projection self has always existed outside of “time” in the sense that since like, physical age 4 onwards Pho has never actually ACTED his age, babbling in competent paragraphs due to his powers as a brain-mental(dream) god advancing him well beyond typical development. Kid-not-really-a-kid. Who else in the palace was merely kid-shaped but actually mentally existing well beyond their physical age???

Why, mindreading mindgods Ty and Bel of course, who froze themselves deliberately in the shape of children at age 7ish to be 7 forever with their big sister Meli, despite their powers advancing them outside the confines of age and space and time. they’re mind gods - they’re every mind!

and that’s a lonely life to live forever but not when you have a glittery buddy who’s also masquerading the same way to hang out with :-) besties! Except of course then Bel and Ty moved to Chal’s house— and dropped the facade, for Chal’s sake, to actually appear as the adults they were. For Chal’s sake! happily ever after for Chal!

…well. then. Pho was quite dismayed to discover that his besties weren’t kids to hang out with anymore. they didn’t even tell him fffdkfkff whoops??? like they just showed up at the palace again all different and Pho hanging out there with Icy was like what the FUCK??? so when Pho finally met Chal the discovery - suddenly became very clear to me that he harbors QUITE a bit of jealous resentment against her for “taking Bel and Ty away” and uhhh. will this be a grudge Pho holds forever?! maybe lmao! everyone’s oblivious no one can read Pho’s mind cause it’s all glitter sooooo……….. hm…….. keeping that one in the back of my mind……

so i think things have been doing better in terms of recovery from the tbi i had last year. reading and writing is still nowhere near where id like but i also don’t want to ignore the progress ive made over these past few months. i still have a lot of trouble reading large pieces of text at a time if im unfamiliar with it, but i think writing has helped me get used to prose and new story lines again (which is good because there is SO much fan fiction in my tbr pile that ive been dying to sink my teeth into)

i still have no memory of the accident itself or even the days surrounding it in general. there’s pretty much an entire week that results in a 404 error in my brain when i try to think about it. every so often someone will say something and im like ‘OH YEAH’ or have zero recollection so there definitely are things that ive forgotten. im trying to be forgiving about this but having amnesia was one of my biggest fears and then it freaking happened so yeahhhhh 😬

but all in all, i can slowly feel my creativity coming back. im having sudden bursts of inspiration and ive been crocheting and brainstorming personal projects, it’s been so much fun! there’s a novel plot ive been kicking around since 2019 that im actually starting to develop now and im super excited about it (you guys will start to hear about it soon hehe)

Fear of a deity

He showed up today, acting like everything was ok and i snapped at him honestly. I told him i didnt want to work with him right now and to let me just work as i was in the middle of a spell and he added to it, i kept the ingredient he touched partially because my target works with him so i want it to actually be benifical and partially out of respect and fear.

I like to think he wouldnt hurt me again but after what happened i dont know. I feel like i was a toy, i feel like i was used like one and dropped to the side when he was done. I feel so hurt so aching and sick over it i dont understand why he would show up like its ok especially after Hermes spoke with him.

He knows what he did, he knows but its like he didnt realize just how badly it affected me until i started shutting him out and now hes just everywhere and i cant get away from him and there are signs really really obvious ones trying to get my attention and it hasnt even been a day i am so overwhelmed and kind of afraid honestly.

Why why why would you show up like this after i told you to leave me alone! I just need space and time and a breath i just need that.

Whats worse is i like the attention, i love the deity but i hate how badly he hurt me, i want to work with him but i cant get over what happened. I ask for space and i get what feels like love bombing. Of course im scared this looks just like a relationship i had that ended badly it looks just like some mythos ive read that ends badly

It all ends badly in the writing and my life has linned up so well with mythos in the past that i am worried. I want to hug him and for him to tell me it was a bad dream that it didnt happen that were still ok and we can work togeather

But it won't help ive tried that it didnt work it made things so much worse on me and now its getting into the cracks its pushing on my mental state its hurting in a strange way

I am terrified i am so fucking scared because this deity interveined and saved my life from a head injury, literal miraculous healing i should not be functioning. What if he gets angry and takes it away? I'll be stuck with a tbi for sure

And no matter how reasonable it feels to be afraid of that i just...cant be? Its like a wall shoots up with "he would never hurt you like that. Not again"

But he did hurt me, he did it multiple times, for months, for his own gain, because he wanted to.

Why wouldnt i be scared of it being taken

But something just wont let go its like "this is a gift he wouldnt take it back hes too loving he cares too much"

Then why didnt he show it, why did he hurt me just for fun. I ache i feel alone i hurt im scared i feel like a cornnered animal and hes closing in not letting me breathe hes everywhere on everything and while yeah i want it to be ok, i asked for time i am trying to get away for a bit i need to breathe and its like hes got a grip on me and doesn't want to let go.

I feel like my minds being twisted and it scares me, does he have a grip on my head since he healed it? Am i going to be ok if i say no? What the actual fuck is happening and am i in trouble or not because my gut seems to agree that i am in no danger and hes just trying to show he cares still

Please, if you care if you see this, if it somehow means something, i need to breathe, i love your presence, but i need to breathe. i need space i need to recover, and i need to think. Im scared of you now. Im terrified after what you did. Please give me space for a while. Then we can try to build trust again if i recover from what happened.

It makes me so sick to write that because i dont want it i dont want to write it i dont want space i dont want him gone im scared of him leaving and im scared of him staying and im only doing this because its healthy because the last option didnt work.

But im scared i wont recover and that it means this is over for good, and i dont know how to feel about that...

What happened would've eneded any normal persons relationship even with a deity or loved one and said person would be behind bars. But i cant let go not fully i feel attached i feel tethered and pulled and luke my heartstrings tug and twist when i try to get back and have space it bends me internally it feels like cracks in my mind are growing and it hurts

And then the moments of obsession, where i feel like i snap mentally and hes on my mind constantly (i think im coping with what happened?) I feel like a blushing person running for their life

I feel broken and yet like hes holding me togeather by a strand, reminding me who i belong to.

But that makes no sense...i swore myself to Zeus in a lot of ways so if i belong to anyone its him.

Maybe its time to call on him and ask for his aid, this has gotten really bad...

still thinking about the au…. what was the 74th games victory tour like for the trio? was the joy of being able to see each other finally enough, or was it A Lot to go to each district especially for ones they had a hand in killing the tributes from

OH i talked about this a little in my last answer but i can certainly say more!

so their reuniting is DEFINITELY an Event. cameras in their faces, broadcasted everywhere, everyone scrutinizing their reactions... luckily their joy upon seeing each other and their love for each other is very real, but its still not fun to not get to reunite privately.

ranboo does less talking than the other two during the tour, though they aren't entirely silent. they have their parts to say, but they have a hard time memorizing things and dont want to just read off of cards. the capitol really pushed an image of them being "helpless" and needing tommy and tubbo to save them though, so their struggles due to trauma/their TBI play right into that narrative (which. to be clear. is not a good thing. it just means that ranboo struggling doesnt like... mess up the act they're all having to do).

when they get to the district of the boy ranboo killed though... i dont think ranboo can handle it. they start crying and they cant stop and have to be taken off the stage and leave tommy and tubbo to give the speech. it creates a bit of a stir, ill say that.

ranboo is generally liked by a lot of the districts, especially those that are more mistreated/more rebellious. ive said it before, but they were as kind as they could be throughout the games. they had several run ins with other tributes before finally ending up with tommy and tubbo, and obviously none of those tributes ended up dead. they helped where they could, which made the capitol see them as stupid, and the outer districts see them as kind. so that to say, they certainly dont get a Bad reception in those districts.

by the end of it, they're all exhausted. none of them feel good about any of it. they're happy to be together, even for a short while, but its all too much. most of their time is spent dealing with guilt or tears or nightmares and wishing they could be together somewhere else

and of course, tubbo is also sitting there hoping the three of them perform well enough that they wont get killed by snow, and... well that doesnt end well, either.
