Ended up making a sort of friend because of Doctor Who

So like, I didn’t know anyone in my design class. And I kind of just turned my earbuds on and just did my own thing as we worked.

I had been meaning to start watching Doctor Who for a while at this point (I came from Good Omens, okay, I needed a new show to watch and everyone says it’s really good, and I agree DW is awesome) but hadn’t had time to start (I was planning to start during the long weekend coming up).

Well, I’m sitting next to this guy at my computer, we’ve barely talked but he’s alright. He accidentally drops his phone and a book and it falls under my chair, so I grab it for him. It’s a doctor who book. So I end up saying, “oh I’ve been meaning to watch Doctor who, I’m probably gonna start this weekend.” And since then we just talk about Doctor Who, especially now that I’ve actually been watching.

He gave me some recommendations on how to start. (He said skip nine, I did not however, skip nine, I love nine). We talk about the episodes, and the doctors. He’s forgotten some earlier bits but he does remember a lot and we’ve talked about the daleks and the lore. I said I was looking forward to some episodes and I said blink was one of them and he said “you say that now” and then he did the hands over face thing and I’m a little more worried now lol. It’s been actually fun chatting with someone and now we talk about class and our dogs and lots of other things as well as Doctor Who. Like we’re now probably the two loudest people in the room most of the time cause we’re always chatting and laughing. It’s been great.

So I’m pretty glad I mentioned Doctor Who. I probably would have gone on not talking to anyone in that class otherwise, cause I just have a hard time talking to new people most of the time and don’t usually try to make many friends, usually they kind of just adopt me into their group. It helped me make a sort of friend all on my own :)

15x18 was so much better than the last few episodes, it made me feel things other than frustration and it seemed like the plot had an actual direction.

The Confession Scene made me cry like a little baby, and it was so much better than the memes had led me to believe. I'm probably having the most intense Deancas feelings I've ever had lol.

And Sam and Dean were super sweet to each other this episode. They both supported each other so well, and we got a brother hug!

Idk this is going to sound wayyyy overdramatic, but I'm really glad I liked this episode and it actually absorbed me, bc idk I kinda felt like maybe I was just being a hater and I'd fallen out of love with the show. But this proved that if I get even a kernel of good stuff I get hyped again and I'm so relieved about that. Again sounds super dramatic but I'm still feeling sappy from crying for like a half hour after finishing the episode lol.
