#he's so floppy recently and I hope it's just the heat. I think wamr weather makes everyone floppy and loungy #a beauntifulle boye...#cats #STILL working on posting some drafts. finishing new poll adventure.. other things... It's just hard with the weather and other things going #on. I've had a few more doctors appointments and other things to do recently that have to be done in a time limit #so I hvae to use my extremely limited energy working on that instead of doing the things I'd really rather do. :T #Main focuses though are keeping up better with doing and posting costumes + sculptures as main creative things. at least finishing the #main poll adventure story. Reworking the game I kind of abandoned for a few years. keeping up with game videos and a few other side things.#Especially the game though. I've been in a really worldbuildy mood recently. I just wish that was easier to manifest into something. I've #now put the worldbuilding slideshow reading video on pause for a while because it's SOOO long to do #and I think I should prioritize making games and stuff instead. but still other things. IT's just kind of like.. I have a whole world and #everything very built and planned out but now.. what do I do with it? what's the best way to share that? factual slideshows just going over #the information like a dictionary? make it into a game? write short stories? do art attached to the world? etc. etc. ?? There are so many #potential avenues I end up kind of flip flopping between them a lot because none really seem more beneficial than the others and they all #seem equally enjoyable and also equally hard so. It's like?? I guess just do what the hell ever and hope I made the right choice in terms o #cost benefit and reward for my time lol. ANYWAY.. Also why I'm in my 'trying to make friends' era still because I think having other creat #ive friends can help you find direction like.. people will meet each other and then go 'hey lol just for fun lets start a project together!#and then like 5 years later it's genuinely become something. etc. having other people to help weed out ideas and start small creative teams #together and etc. I feel is a very beneficial part of networking or whatever but also I have the social capacity of a stale bread roll and #am also inherently unrelatable to seemingly a majority of people due to my hermit wizard swag (detachment from general society and hyper #focus on fantasy worlds in my head gjhghj) so trying to meet people as a grown adult with social issues is Very easy and fun (it is not)#even very basic things like my core communication style is so incompatible with a lot of people it's like.. hhhh... People in this modern #age have GOT to stop being afraid of phone calls and/or text that is longer than 6 paragraphs. Work with me here. I WANT to talk to you. bu #I do not know what your emojis mean and it's physically impossible for me to type less than 85 sentences. please.. hhjgjgb #AAANYWAY!! On a brighter note I've taken to cleaning and reorganising the kitchen since I'm the one that mainly uses it now and it gives me serotonin to see my baking supply all neat and tidy.

Last week I tried my hand at making a no bake matcha cheesecake and a matcha bread with red bean paste yeee

#doing the braid for the bread was fun and it turned out pretty #the only thing i don't like about making bread though is that i can't tell when it's proofed enough lol #also the no bake matcha cheesecake turned out nice although the cream cheese was a lil strong #but the recipe had an oreo crust so that balanced it a bit #i also made a brownie style batter with ube extract instead of cocoa powder and i could've sworn i took a photo???#but welp the photo is gone to the void somewhere #it was very purple and i remembered in that moment why i hate doing brownies #and that's because of the bake time lol #anyway that's been my current adventures in baking 🤡🫡#also had a rare moment 2 days where i decided to just clean out the bathroom's sink cupboard/drawers at 2am #which took like 3 hours at which point i also decided to sweep and mop the house #cause apparently i can't clean at normal hours

me, upon walking into the kitchen at 1:18 am and seeing the perfectly ripe bananas i was going to turn into banana bread: heck is 1:18 too late to make banana bread

me, upon looking around the kitchen: heck why is the sink full of dishes? i can't make MORE mess when the sink is full. guess i gotta put these in the dishwasher before i can make banana bread. oh right we ran the dishwasher and haven't emptied it yet

me, at 1:20 pm: emptied and then refilled the dishwasher. i have an empty sink, and 20 minutes later have zero energy for making banana bread at 1:39 am... >.>

i'll make banana bread tomorrow

#i WOULD HAVE made the banana bread at 1:18 but apparently 1:39 is just beyond the pale #i mean it takes an hour to bake and like 15 minutes to mix up first #and then like an hour to cool enough to wrap and put away #and i do want to sleep someday you know?#plus there would be more dish washing and honestly i've had enough of that for one night lol #my life as a muppet

Just watched the Spanish 1931 Dracula this morning and it really did hold up a lot better than the English version?

I don’t know that you could call either one “better”, but I think it was just a lot more cinematic than the English version is theatrical. Like the characters spend so much time in English one monologuing about scenes we don’t see, from head-on camera angles. But the Spanish one just had more scenes with more set changes and camera work. Just kinda interesting how that made it more compelling where the English one really drags on despite being 20 minutes shorter lol

#hannah is talking #I liked juan harker better than the english version’s jonathan lol he was less of an asshole.#also I think it’s so funny that in the spanish one renfield cuts his finger while cutting bread instead of on a paper clip. I love the idea #that the spanish writers were reading the english script and were like no one fucking cuts themself on a paper clip that’s stupid lol #also oh my god the actor playing renfield did so much screaming lol. he was honestly terrifying #I also loved the little bit where he scrambled over the porch railing giggling to himself while doctor seward was just like #’bad renfield >:( get over here rn >:(‘ and made him sit down on the couch with like his hands folded in his lap lol #WAIT ALSO when dracula tossed renfield over the stairs to his death there isnt any sound effect of him falling but in the spanish version #*no sound effect in the english version #there’s like this loud ass metalic THUNK like the sound of two metal objects hitting each other and it just killed me. it was like very #violent sounding and effectively scary but it was NOT the kind of sound a man hitting a dirt floor would make lmaoo

guys i have had a super productive weekend writing wise

i took up this sprint habit of doing like, two to three 30min sprints in the morning the last two days and that morphed into a longer sprint session (I'm in a server with a lot of sprinters for once! its very nice) and so I've churned out almost 15k in the last two days alone

not only that, but i managed to spread those words out across 6 fics! it was some fun work and boy howdy some of these things are getting wild lol

anyway, i also cooked a shitton today. like, longer than usual i think around 5hrs. its been interesting and nice but Im so exhausted now
