it’s december 19th when satoru gojo tells you that he has a mission just for you. you’re less than ecstatic about it to say the least. the last thing you want to do is be sent to your death just shy of christmas day. you just want to rest your sore muscles and bask in the presence of your best friends. you’re not in the mood to kill any curses, mainly because you’ve just recovered from a previous mission.
“why me?” you groan.
gone are the days where you used to be a goody two shoes for satoru. you’re old enough to talk back now, not like when you had been a shy fifteen-year-old girl. besides, you’ve been around the silver-haired sorcerer long enough to know that he doesn’t mind the bite.
“sorry, kid,” satoru says with a shrug. at least he sounds genuine about it. “the higher ups requested for you specifically. they say you’ll get the job done in the cleanest way. we can’t have things getting messy before the holidays, right?”
“and you wouldn’t be the best choice?” you quip.
satoru only laughs. he ruffles your hair. even with your growth spurt and merciless training, he still towers over you. in a way, he’ll always be your mentor. “hey, i’m going out of town that weekend. give me a break.”
you huff petulantly. something about this mission seems fishy to you. you’re not nearly the strongest sorcerer out of the bunch of kids under satoru’s wings (not that you guys are kids anymore, but sometimes it’s hard to feel otherwise). hell, there’s the kyoto students. it feels like they never have to do anything. you wish that you were rebellious enough to chew utahime out for it.
“why couldn’t they just make yuta or megumi go?” you mutter under your breath. you stammer out megumi’s name and hope satoru doesn’t catch on to the way you can barely say it.
satoru knows about the breakup. why wouldn’t he? he’s basically megumi’s dad, even if the raven haired boy refuses to admit it. satoru’s six eyes mean you can’t hide anything from him (he’d been the first to know that megumi was head over heels for you).
satoru raises a brow. “oh, right. megumi’s coming along too.”
your face twists and you immediately whip around to glare at him. “you’re lying.”
“i wish,” he jokes. “i was really hoping i’d get a wedding invitation one day, you little rascal. i can’t believe you two broke up. maybe this’ll be a good thing!”
“i appreciate your honesty, but—”
“but megumi’s an emotionally constipated kid, yeah, that i know,” satoru laughs. he makes his way to the exit of his office which has you furrowing your brows. is your former teacher actually gonna just leave after making you come all the way here? how rude and so very in character of him.
“please, gojo,” you call out after him, “i don’t wanna go with him.”
“sucks for you,” satoru responds halfheartedly. “merry christmas. try not to take more than a week on this. you’ll have to pay the rest of the fee for accommodations if you do.”
“gojo!” you whine.
“it’s not a hard mission!” satoru insists like it’ll make your life any easier. “y’know, this time of year is when things get ugly. think of it as saving as many people as you can while putting in the least amount of effort!”
and then he teleports. your former teacher teleports away rather than being normal and walking out of the door. you roll your eyes and hope that he can sense it (you know he can’t).
so that’s why you’re here now. with your ex. on the elevator to your assigned room on the tenth floor. you’re so glad that it’s a normal hotel and not a love hotel. lord knows what you’d do if you had checked into a love hotel.
megumi hasn’t spoken a word to you since he broke up with you two weeks ago. it had been in the doorway to your apartment a few days after a particularly rough mission assigned to the both of you—the one you’re still recovering from. he’d pulled you in for a hug, whispering sweet words into your ear. he gave you a look, one of those looks that made him soften his usually sharp eyes.
“i think we should break up.”
and then came the pathetic whimper of yours. he had wiped your tears, even kissed them tenderly, before telling you that it wasn’t your fault—it was his. how cliche.
now as you stand next to him, you want to beat yourself up for not asking for closure. neither of you had explicitly stated that you two were going to be no-contact, but it hurts a lot less to push the idea of forever with megumi away to the back of your mind. besides, you two aren’t confrontational like that. not with each other, anyway.
“need help?” his tone is soft, tender—the tone he reserves specifically for you, the one that tells you he still cares.
you stare down at the luggage at your feet. you’ve always been a chronic overpacker, a habit that megumi knows of by now. he watches you curiously, hands itching at his sides. you can tell that he wants to reach out and grab your suitcase like he always does. he thinks he isn’t obvious, but you can always read through the lines, especially when it’s megumi.
“i’m okay,” you croak out, clearing your throat awkwardly.
the elevator dings and you make your way to your room. as much as you hate to admit it, you’re sort of glad that you and your ex boyfriend are sharing a room. perhaps his’ll be a good way to get closure, though you’re not really sure what closure entails.
what you don’t expect is to unlock the door and be met with a singular bed.
if satoru gojo didn’t have a layer of infinity coating his body (and if he wasn’t the strongest sorcerer alive), you would’ve wrung out his neck.
megumi simply walks into the room, setting his duffel bag down on one of the dressers opposite from the foot of the bed. he doesn’t comment on the lack of double beds, seemingly already aware of the set up.all he does is puff out a weary sigh. you suck in a breath and follow him inside, slipping your shoes off at the entrance.
you lug your suitcase in after you along with your duffel bag and backpack. you stumble forward and megumi’s arm snakes around your waist, steadying you.
“careful,” he mutters, nonchalantly taking your bag off our your shoulders.
it’s a quick series of movements; he swings your bag over his shoulders and places it on the dresser next to the one he’s claimed while guiding you softly to the side of the bed so that you’re not standing in the middle of the doorway.
you scrunch your face, feeling your heart thump against your ribcage. it’s stupid how he still has such a hold on you, even after two weeks of not seeing or talking to him. he’s just so caring, so gentle. it stings, like little the little cuts you get when fighting curses, when you realize that this is something you’ll have to learn how to lose.
“thanks,” you manage to mutter. you don’t trust yourself to say anything else. you know from the way your throat tightens that you’ll be crying soon if you force yourself to talk any more.
“i can take the couch,” megumi says.
it’s that easy with him; he’s a gentleman, so of course he’d take the couch. that’s the way megumi fushiguro is—he offers a solution before you even have the chance to complain. in your year and a half long relationship, that skill of his had been a saving grace.
“no, don’t bother,” you croak. “i’ll book another room.”
“really?” he asks. he stands up a little straighter, awkwardly reaching up to scratch the back of his neck. “i mean, i don’t mind sharing a room with you… we’ve..”
we’ve shared a room countless of times before.
megumi doesn’t have to continue his sentence for you to understand what he’s implying. you part your lips to speak, but nothing comes out except for a long, heavy sigh. your shoulders drop as you let the exhaustion seep into your bones. there’s no use arguing about it, not when you don't’ mind sharing a room with megumi, either.
“we’ve broken up,” you remind him in a quiet voice, like you’re afraid saying it out loud will make it truer than it already is.
megumi pauses. you see his adam’s apple bob as he swallows thickly. “i know that, but … it’ll be fine. we’ve shared a room as friends before.”
he’s right, like he usually is. you two have shared a room before as just friends, but that had been as teenagers—back when you both harbored such hardcore crushes on each other that you two somehow didn’t notice.
“right,” you find yourself agreeing with a small nod.
“you should go get ready for bed.” megumi begins grabbing a few or the decorative pillow off of the bed. he places them gingerly on the brown couch tucked in the corner of the hotel room. “we’ll be getting up pretty early to deal with the brunt of the mission.”
to finish this mission as quickly as possible, you think.
and so you oblige and head to the bathroom. it’s december 19th, just a few days shy of christmas day, and you’re in bed with your ex boyfriend on the couch just a few feet away.
december 20th greets you with megumi hovering over you. he peers down at you with his messy bangs covering his eyes. they’re piercingly blue as he blinks. his lashes flutter perfectly, even in the early morning. your eyes meet his and you jolt awake.
“good morning,” he says. “your alarm has been ringing for a bit now, so i turned it off.”
you blink rapidly, getting the tiredness out of your eyes. “oh.”
he chuckles softly, just enough for you to catch it with your ears. he rises from his crouched position and heads to the front door. he spares you a glance over his shoulder before he heads out, presumably giving you the privacy you need. you let out a strangled breath before you swing your legs over the bed and head to the bathroom.
by the time you’re finished putting on your uniform, you swing the door to your hotel room open and see megumi leaned up against the wall, tapping away on his phone. his dark blue eyes flicker up to you and he turns away to head down the hall.
you furrow your brows. you can’t help but think that he’s being a little cold to you. it isn’t like you initiated the breakup. despite your frustration with his behavior, you can sort of understand why he wouldn’t want to be sweet around you; you two aren’t dating anymore and so it makes sense that he’d go back to being aloof in your presence, the usual way he acts around everyone else. losing that position in his life makes your stomach churn for reasons you’re less than willing to uncover.
your mission is a vague one; all you know is that it’s a clean-up mission. rather than a level 1 curse (or even a special grade), the mission consists of an acclimation of weak curses surrounding shinjuku. these missions are normally given to younger, more inexperienced sorcerers with the help of a senior sorcerer, but for an odd reason, it’s been given to you and megumi this year. megumi could’ve probably handled it himself. actually, you could’ve handled it yourself.
you bite your tongue to hold back on your complaints as you walk just a step behind megumi. he pauses regularly, waiting for you to catch up to his side. you roll your eyes in secret. does he not realize that you don’t want to walk next to him?
“it’s all just bars,” you mutter.
with that, you earn a tiny laugh from megumi. “well, yeah. this is the red-light district of shinjuku.”
you pale. “this sucks.”
“why do you think i wanted to come out here in the morning rather than at night?” he says, his tone strangely light.
“to deal with the brunt of the mission,” you repeat his words from last night sarcastically. you’re unsure as to what he’s talking about, so you think that it’s okay to give him a little bit of attitude.
he raises his brow but doesn’t comment on your sarcasm. instead, he says softly, “no, stupid. it’s because this is the red-light district. it’s unsafe for anyone, especially a pretty, young girl alone at night.”
your first thought is to coo and tease him. you think i’m pretty? it takes you half a second to remember that you two are broken up. you scoff, “i’m perfectly capable of handling myself.”
“i never said you weren’t,” megumi shoots back. “it would just be annoying explaining to the higher ups why you were fighting people and not curses.”
“i’m sure they’d understand,” you retort, frowning. you cross your arms.
“don’t be so pouty,” he says in that stupid, gentle tone he uses with you when you’re acting bratty.
you both decide to split up. well, it’s more like you demand the two of you to split up. you say it under the pretense that it’ll get the job done faster. besides, you both want to be home before christmas day, right?
there’s about two curses you cross paths with every hour. you’re starting to lose your mind. shouldn’t the streets be infested with them? you don’t even need a veil! all you have to do is give the weak curses just one punch and they vaporize on the spot. your head is running with hundreds of thoughts.
that’s when it hits you: the first years at the tokyo jujutsu school did come out here a week prior! maybe they did a bad job? but you remember nobara had been the one to lead the group. she may half-ass almost everything in her life, but she wouldn’t jeopardize her underclassmen for the sake of her freetime.
so why on earth are you here? it’s not like there are enough harmful curses for a mission to be assigned to you right before christmas, and to you and megumi of all sorcerers. you’re both strong enough to the point of having some kind of importance in the jujutsu world. the higher ups wouldn’t send the two of you on some stupid mission for the sake of it unless they’re planning some sort of secret execution. but even then, satoru gojo should’ve known through their lies to not send you or megumi. unless…he wants you two dead…?
you shake your head and bite your nails. the sun begins to set and you realize that you’ve been out here for longer than you expected. you’re starting to feel a chill in your bones—you had argued petulantly with megumi earlier about not wanting to wear your jacket despite it being the dead of winter; “it’s gonna get in the way!”
you always seem to forget the the sun sets earlier in the winter. it’s stupid how bright all the lights are in shinjuku. there isn’t a square foot of anything that isn’t lit up with neon signs reading out the names of clubs and bars. you see couples and large groups of people walking along the streets.
it’s lonely, you realize. it would’ve been less lonely with megumi.
you make your way to the meeting spot with megumi. you both share a few small words before retiring for the night. megumi says he wants to go sightseeing, even though there’s really nothing much to see. he doesn’t return to the hotel room until late at night.
when he slips into the only bed that the room offers, you chalk it up to the slight alcohol you smell on his lips. it feels so natural that you don’t push him away even though you should. his body is warm and you fit so perfectly against his broad chest that you think it’ll be okay for you to be a little selfish tonight.
“g’night,” megumi mumbles in his sleep.
you smile and nuzzle closer.
it’s december 21st as you realize how late it is in the day. megumi is back on the couch. you feel a tinge of disappointment in the bottom of your stomach.
to no one’s surprise, the sun is barely peeking over the buildings when you’re finally back in the red-light district. you’re doing the last bit of cleanup, but there’s really nothing much for you to clean.
tomorrow, you’ll be heading to a shopping mall, so you suppose you should do your best to sniff out the rest of the curses littering the place unless you want to stay here an extra day. the day is, yet again, slow.
it’s nearing 8 PM and you're finally sure that you’ve gotten rid of all the curses in the general area. you’ve been done for quite a while now, but you just haven’t found the courage to let megumi know that you’re ready to go back to the hotel room. a little sightseeing on your end wouldn’t hurt, right?
“hi, pretty.” a gravelly voice, battered by cigarettes, whispers in your ear.
you jump in surprise. you need to remember not to get too far into your head. you should’ve felt his presence coming from a mile away. it’s a terrible habit and satoru has scolded you for years about it.
“hi,” you mutter, pushing past his larger frame.
the man isn’t as nicely built as the men you know (but then again, your friends are jujutsu sorcerers, so it’s kind of hard to beat that), but he still towers over you. he’s got a squad of rough-looking guys behind him, smirking down at you.
“why’s someone like you alone?” he says, shoving his arm to loop around your waist.
you roll your eyes, getting ready to punch the man square in the nose. will you get in trouble? probably yes. will it be a funny story to tell? also probably yes.
“don’t touch my wife.”
the group of men turn their heads along with you to see megumi. his expression is shrouded with a mixture of anger and frustration. you blink in confusion—megumi usually looks pretty pissed off, but this is the most angry you’ve seen him in a while. and ‘wife’? what’s up with that?
“oh, my bad,” the man chuckles. “didn’t know this pretty thing was married.”
“this ‘pretty thing’ wants you to let her go,” you say with an overly sweet smile. your teeth clench and you hiss, “right now.”
the guy scurries down the sidewalk with his buddies trailing along, making fun of him for hitting on a married woman. nobody mentions the lack of a ring on your finger. nobody mentions the lack of a relationship, either.
“wife?” you scowl. “we’re broken up.”
“guys tend to back up when they know a woman is married. it’s the only way you can really, uh, get them to go away around here.”
you glare at him. “and how would you know? you come here often with girls?”
“...no?” he blinks, unable to comprehend your sudden burst of jealousy. “i sometimes get missions around here, though. pretending to be married was the easiest way—”
“we aren’t, though. we’re not even in a relationship.” you seem to be throwing that into his face a lot more than you should. you can’t help it, though. you still feel a little bitter about not getting a real reason as to why megumi wanted to break up.
“i was trying to help you.” he’s calm and collected, as heard through his voice. he walks up to you and takes your freezing hand into his much warmer ones. “let’s go home.”
“i don’t want to,” you argue.
“stop being a brat,” he says, but there’s no bite to his words. “you’re cold and you’ve been out here all day. if i hadn’t stopped those guys, you probably would’ve beat them up pretty badly.”
“i’m not a fucking brat!” you try to retract your hand, but megumi’s grip only tightens.
“baby, stop,” the pet name rolls off his tongue with ease. megumi sighs softly and pulls you to his chest. “why are you so worked up, hm?”
from the way he speaks, you can tell that he already has an inkling. the breakup. cuddling last night. hugging you now. everything.
you don’t realize you’re crying until he gently wipes his thumb under your eye. he has the audacity to have an amused grin plastered on his stupidly pretty lips. your vision is blurry but if it hadn’t been, you would’ve thrown a punch.
“i’m sorry,” he whispers into your hair. “it’s all my fault.”
“it is,” you whimper pathetically. all the tears and the emotions you’ve been holding back bubble up to the surface.
“don’t be upset,” he almost pleads. “let’s go back, okay?”
the night ends with megumi on the couch. neither of you bring up the argument or the fact that he had slept in your bed with you last night. you two don’t talk about the usage of pet names, either.
when you open your eyes on december 22nd, you’re surprised to see that megumi has already headed out for the day. you click your tongue in annoyance—he’s always been good at avoiding his problems when it comes to dealing with them, especially problems involving his emotions. you already know where you’re supposed to be headed, so you suppose that it’s for the best that he’d left before you.
the shopping mall is a long line of vendors and stores among other things. the snow on the ground is fresh—it must’ve snowed late last night after you’d fallen asleep. it crunches underneath your beat-up sneakers with each step you take. you’re not shocked when you end up wandering aimlessly, dipping in and out of stores with no real urgency to finish your mission.
there’s nothing to do anyway.
you’ve killed about 3 curses total and it’s really starting to look like you’ve been sent out here for busy work. you really should’ve figured that out the first day of the mission when you had to practically beg the curses to come out and fight you.
you find yourself in the front of a jewelry store, eyeing a pretty bracelet that you know would look stunning around megumi’s wrist. it’s one of those bracelets that clasp tightly. there’s a thicker band in the center with pretty carvings that seem to resemble some sort of swirly heart. it’s pretty, you have to admit.
without much thought, you buy the gift.
the seller has to clear her throat to get your attention when you don’t answer her question. “um, would you like this to be wrapped?”
you nod absentmindedly. “oh, yes. sorry. please wrap it.”
she nods in return and proceeds to wrap the bracelet in a tiny box, adorning it with a festive bow. you ask her to change it out for a different color, explaining that it isn’t a christmas gift and instead, it’s for someone’s birthday. she offers you a warm smile before switching it with a muted blue ribbon.
you return to the hotel, having to take an expensive taxi. you don’t mind—the bracelet has already made a decent-sized dent in your wallet. why not spend an extra amount on getting home? it’s not like jujutsu sorcerers are paid poorly.
reality hits you when you finally get back to the hotel room. you want to punch yourself for being so stupid. did you really just buy a birthday present for your ex-boyfriend?
you’re thankful that megumi hasn’t arrived yet. he seems to be determined to avoid you for as long as he can. you can’t blame him, either. you did give him quite a hard time yesterday.
you toss the box on to the dresser and head to the bathroom to splash some much needed cold water on to your face. maybe that’ll wake you up enough to clear your mind. you’ve acted out once during this trip already and you’re not really looking forward to any other possible outbursts.
you rinse your face and pat yourself dry with one of the face towels provided to you by the hotel staff. you hang it over the rack again and tiredly make your way to your bed. you halt your movements when you see megumi standing by the dresser, admiring your gift.
he looks up at you in surprise with the smallest grin on his face. it’s so subtle that you would’ve missed it had you not been dating him for nearly two years.
“is this for me?”
“no,” you quickly deny. his face falls and you cough out, “um, i mean.. yeah. i-i didn’t… i… happy birthday.”
he brightens, lips pulling up into a real, genuine smile. “you remembered?”
“why wouldn’t i?” you blurt gently. you bite your inner cheek to stop yourself from saying anything more.
“i dunno.” his voice is distant and low, like he’s trying to hold back his tears. “i just…i didn’t think i was deserving of a gift from you. thank you. i like it.”
you stand awkwardly, shifting your weight onto your other foot. “yeah, well…”
“can you help me put it on?” he asks, sitting at the edge of your unmade bed.
you feel your body heat up. part of you screams for you to stop. you shouldn’t do that. it’s far too intimate and you two are broken up. you’ve never been good at making decisions, though, so you sit next to him and feel the mattress dip.
he gives you a grateful look, one that you willfully ignore, and gives you his wrist. you clasp the bracelet on, fingertips just barely grazing his skin. your heart skips a beat and you have to inhale sharply before pulling away.
“thank you,” he whispers.
december 23rd is a sore reminder that life goes on. you had half-expected something to spark between you and megumi. perhaps he’d beg for you back, or maybe with less wishful thinking, he’d give you his real reason as to why he doesn’t want you anymore.
“i don’t think we need to go anymore,” megumi says when you come out of the bathroom after freshening up.
“huh? why not?”
“there’s nothing out there.” megumi’s voice is flat.
“i know, but we’ll get in trouble if we…”
“gojo probably sent us out here for fun.”
your lips part. megumi turns to you with a slight frown.
“don’t you think so too?” he asks, but you know it isn’t a question he’s looking to find an answer to. “why would the higher-ups assign a mission like this to a special grade sorcerer and a grade 1 sorcerer? if they needed that much manpower, this mission would’ve been deadlier. instead, we’re playing cleanup crew.”
“yeah, but..” you trail off, unable to think of a statement to refute his words. “if we go back now, we’ll get chewed out.”
“it’s just a scolding. you’ll be fine.” megumi stands up and stretches his arms.
you watch him cautiously as he begins to fold his clothes and throw them into his duffel bag. he doesn’t say anything else, letting the silence overtake the room.
“...are we leaving, then?” you ask meekly, not bothering to hide the slight quiver in your voice.
he pauses slightly. “do you want to stay here until christmas? this mission is stupid and you know it. there’s no point.”
why is his tone so cold all of the sudden? it’s as if you two hadn’t shared a moment last night before bed. does your gift not mean anything to him now that he’s cleared his mind with a good rest?
your eyes flicker to his wrist. the gold glimmers underneath the light and you realize that megumi doesn’t seem to hate wearing it. so why is he acting so … unpleasant?
you feel a lump in your throat. it’s embarrassing how quickly he’s able to upset you from just the tone of his voice. even his body language, usually fluid and smooth, is rigid with your presence. you want to tell him that you’ve enjoyed your time with him. you want to shake his shoulders and tell him that if you two cut your mission short, you might not get another chance to be near him again.
“do you still care about me?” you whisper instead.
he stills completely. “what?”
“this entire time,” you begin shakily, “you’ve been nice to me. you treat me like you always do. you’re always hovering over me even though you pretend you aren’t! you obviously still care, megumi.”
his adam's apple bobs as swallows. a beat of silence. then two. then three.
“i do care,” he admits sorely.
“then why did you break up with me?” you blurt. there it is, the question you’ve been meaning to ask. you both had seen it coming.
“because…” megumi winces as if he’s the one getting hurt from the ordeal. “because you deserve someone that’s normal. someone that isn’t a sorcerer. i can’t give you that life.”
you feel your chest swarm with anger. why does he always think he needs to sabotage himself to make others happy? this is something you’ve tried working with him on, but it seems like old habits are hard to kill off, just like your habit of loving him.
“why the hell would you decide that for me? when did i ever say i wanted a normal life?” you snap. your hands clench at your sides.
“it’s too early for this,” he says, his voice straining as he finally musters up the strength to look at you in your eyes.
“tell me, megumi. if that’s the real reason, then that is the most pathetic excuse for a breakup i've ever heard.” your voice cracks and you gulp down the oncoming sob that’s threatening to explode from your throat.
he inhales slowly and makes his way to you, holding you close against his chest. you should push him away, but you would rather let him hug you. you know that you can’t fight him, anyway.
“you…once said you wanted a regular relationship. when you got hurt a few weeks ago, i realized i couldn’t be that for you,” he confesses lowly. “i knew that you’d never find it in yourself to leave, so i figured i should just let you go for your sa–”
“are you kidding me?” you shout incredulously. “i said that when i was fifteen, megumi! before i even knew what being in love was like!”
he flinches against you. “but i…”
“you and your damn savior complex! i don’t need to be in a regular, normal relationship! i don’t need any of that, megumi! i’m a sorcerer, I won't ever get to be normal! in fact, it’s even better that i’m with you because you at least know what this life is like, you idiot! you’re always ruining the good things in your life because you—”
he takes his fingers to grab your chin and he pulls you in for a kiss. if the kiss is a ploy to shut you up, you hate to admit that it’s working. his tongue slips into your mouth and you melt against him. your arms loop around his neck as you desperately drag him down closer to your body. his hand grip your waist while the other clings to the small of your back.
you whimper out of instinct and he pulls away, lips bruised and breathless. it’s been so long since you’ve tasted him and you frown, tiptoeing to capture his lips again. you need to savor him, to feel him lips against yours again.
“baby, wait.” his chest heaves as he looks down at you. “don’t…don’t do this to me.”
“do what?” you ask, an edge to your voice. did he just reject you? even after all that?
“w-we gotta report back to—”
“we’re supposed to leave tomorrow,” you interrupt.
the gears shift in his head. “fine, but—”
“i’m still really fucking mad, but i just need you to kiss me right now,” you whine impatiently.
all megumi does is laugh when he swoops down to press his lips against yours.
it’s december 24th when you two find yourselves in satoru’s office. steam is practically rising from your ears as you try to compose yourself in front of your former teacher.
“... i wanted a wedding invitation.” satoru shrugs.
“you set us up!” you whine angrily. “gojo, are you serious?! isn’t this a little immature?”
megumi stays silent, averting his gaze. he suddenly finds the succulents on satoru’s desk very interesting. he’s never noticed that they’re all nearly dead! how cool.
your eyes shoot daggers at megumi's silence.
"we aren't gonna get married any time soon..." megumi mutters when he feels your pointy glare on him.
satoru raises his hands in mock surrender. “you two can’t blame me! it worked out! you two are back together now, right?”
“but did you have to make us look like fools out there?” you groan.
“you should’ve figured it out on the first day that the mission was a sham!” satoru exclaims, offense taking over his features.
“but still!” you’re borderline hysterical at this point, unable to believe that your former teacher of all people had to set up an entire fake mission so that you and your ex could talk your feelings out. “we would’ve figured ourselves out sooner or later!”
megumi nods. he feels like he should at least give you a little support even if he’s embarrassed out of his mind.
“oh really?” satoru’s voice drips with sarcasm. “you guys should be thanking me—”
“you’re so not getting an invitation to our wedding!” you grumble.
“wha—hey! i’m the one that got you two back together! besides, i’m megumi’s guardian! you can’t just not invite me.”
“watch me!”
“megumi, tell her that she can’t do that—hey! where are you guys going? invite me, you rascals—why are you guys leaving? we aren’t done discussing this! megumi, don’t you dare take her side! she isn’t even your wife yet—don’t slam my door!”

Hi! I saw your request open. May I request a fiance!alastor x charlie's older sister!fiance!reader, they're in a secret realtionship. During episode 5, lucifer arrives, alastor and lucifer having some sort of beef and some time later either Y/N or Alastor reveals their engagement, really pure fluff
I hope you don't mind how long this took. I'm still a bit rusty when it comes to fluff, I feel. I threw a little angst and inner-Alastor thoughts just to round this out!! No particular warnings past some cursing and bickering old men... please enjoy!
You felt your phone buzzing in your pocket, alarmed when you saw your sister's name flash across your screen. Charlie's name blared at you in glittery, golden font, as Inside of Every Demon is a Rainbow bounced around your room bombastically. She had only called you when absolutely necessary. This couldn't be good...
You hastily picked up your phone, your jaw nearly hitting the floor as Charlie rambled about her predicament. You cut her off, pulling on your cardigan quickly," Don't move-- I'm on the way right now!!!" You nearly blew your apartment door off its hinges, trudging quickly downstairs. You pull your phone back up to your ear, quickly calling for a cab. If half of what Charlie spouted was true... she would need some support. As would Alastor... Quickly.
You took off briskly towards the Hazbin Hotel, hoping you would make it over before Lucifer, your father, had gotten there.
---
You were practically sprinting up the stairs as you left the cab, heart racing. If you knew anything, Charlie would be nervous and unable to convince your dad of change. If you knew anything about Alastor... you knew how much he secretly envied the power that Lucifer harbored. If he wasn't careful, said one wrong thing... he'd be exorcized in a heartbeat. You slam the hotel doors open, panting as all eyes in the room turned towards you. Charlie sighed, seemingly relieved.
"H-Hey there!!! Guuuuys, you've all met my sister, right? Right?" You saw Alastor at eye-level with Lucifer, stooping down to his height. They both looked positively FURIOUS with the other. But when Charlie had made mention of you, both men's gazes flew to you. Lucifer blinked a few times, taking small steps towards you," Y-You... you're here, too?" The King of the Hells looked absolutely shocked, a wide, prideful smile plastering across his face soon after," My oldest, my little duckling, it's so good to see y--"
Alastor hip-bumped Lucifer out of the way and onto his ass, making wide, deliberate strides towards you.
"My darling, mon cher!!! What a wonderful surprise! What brings you here this fine evening?" Alastor was looking between you, Charlie, and Lucifer as his mind raced. The dots were starting to connect.... He knew that you were estranged from both your parents and a younger sibling... bur now, he finalized realized that they just so happened to be Hell Royalty. THE Monarchy with a capital M. He should have seen the similarities... but: this was something he could use to his advantage. Something that made this position here in the hotel all the more concrete.
You chuckled as Alastor greeted you, taking your hand into his own before bringing it to his lips. Eyes and mouths hung wide open as all took in the sight of Alastor putting his lips to something the he didn't murder. Lucifer saw red, launching himself back onto his feet.
"What's the meaning of this? Okay, honey, sweetie-- you KNOW this shitshow???" Lucifer laughed nervously, mirroring Charlie's nervous energy as he rubbed his hands together, attempting to calm himself. His horns had nearly sprouted from his scalp," Duckyyyy...," Lucifer warned," Please tell I'm not seeing what I THINK I'm seeing." Alastor's shit eating grin was very telling, and impossibly wide as he spun you in a quick circle.
"Oh my Hells! Don't tell me, cher... you haven't told your own sister and father about us~?" Alastor teased, a hand clutching his chest in feigned injury," You wound me!"
You did your best not to laugh, gently nudging Alastor off of you," Well, I did tell you that I didnt-- Well, that we don't really see each other much anymore." You gaze at your father, having to look down towards him due to the height difference," Or, eye to eye, for that matter."
Alastor erupted into a laughing fit, both hands on your shoulders as he spun you around," Well, that certainly makes sense now!!! What a revelation!"
Lucifer fumed, barely avoiding biting his bottom lip off. Charlie blinked as she took everything in, eyes widening," So-- so THIS is your boyfriend you were telling me about! Riiiiiigggghhht..." Charlie clasps her hands together, mirroring her father. Her teeth were gritting slightly, as she concluded under her breath," Actually, that makes a LOT of sense, in retrospect--"
You flush even brighter, left hand ducking behind your back," Y-Y-- YEAH! Pffft! Just my boyfriend!" You fumble nervously as you continue," Charlie, remember? I told you about Al: tall, dark, handsome? Old fashioned? The cute little ears~?"
That sentiment surely wasnt shared by anyone else in the room... Angel scoffs as you were able to play with the Radio Demon's ears, the man in question seemingly unphased by your touch.
"Ugh!! Great! She can say it, but when I do, I nearly get eaten alive!!! What gives???"
Alastor was quickly losing his footing in this situation: he had to think fast. He is quick to seize your left wrist, pulling it back out to reveal a small, golden band enveloping your ring finger," I believe the term 'boyfriend' is a bit dated, even for us, isn't it?" Alastor bestows a kiss to your cheek, shocking even you, as he sends Lucifer a shit eating grin. This wasn't exactly the way you planned to tell everyone... but two of the three people in your little family were here, so you might as well make this count...
"No, I think betrothed is much more fitting, don't you~?"
Collective gasps about the room.
"You two are WHAT--?!?!?" screamed Lucifer.
"OH! OH!! IS SHE A BAD GIRL, SIR?!?!?" squealed Niffty as she jumped in place.
"...is she fucking HIGH--??" Husk asked accusingly.
Lucifer and Charlie both look to each other, than back to you, both feeling mixed emotions. Charlie is quick on the uptake, arms wide and welcoming," Ohh gosh, Alastor already felt like family since coming to this hotel!"
Charlie was doing her best to keep the piece, not wanting to lose the Hotel's Manager and her father in one blow," Th-this is great!! Im-- I'm SO happy for you two!" Charlie initiates a hug, squeezing both you and Alastor in a year's grip. Both yours and Alastor's hands instinctively go to pat Charlie on the head, making you flush again as you brush against each other. Alastor gives you a knowing, sweet smile, completing his end of the gesture.
" Oh Charlie, that is perhaps the nicest thing I've heard since coming to Hell~ I say, it almost makes a tear come to my eye!" Alastor pulls away and taps at his eye dramatically with his handkerchief, as you and Charlie continue to hug. Lucifer feels frozen in place, unable to act. If he makes a scene, he may scare you off or lose you again... if he doesn't make a scene now, then Alastor has a foothold that cements him further into this place. He was closer to not one, but BOTH of his daughters.... Lucifer decides its a risk worth taking, clapping his hands together. Maybe he could get rid of this deer carcass soon enough.
Lucifer takes bold steps forward, a jovial grin on his face," W-Well, of course! Charlie is right, anything for my little girl! Princesses deserve the entire world!" In a twist that catches everyone by surprise, he takes Alastor's hand in a firm handshake, his grip tighter than a boa constrictor. His forked tongue flicks and flares as he speaks directly to Alastor.
"...And you intend to give my little girl the WORLD...," he sneers, his voice deepening," ...Don't you?"
Alastor can barely hide the wince he makes as he shakes Luci's hand back, wide toothed grin straining," B-But of course!!! Who would I be to deny such a wonderful woman?"
Charlie's eyes well up with tears, the handshake convincing her that this was water under the bridge. You pipe up, placing a hand on both mens' chest to seperate them," W-Well, I think we should celebrate! Why don't we have some dinner, hmm? Perfect time to talk things over, get a tour of the hotel, AND work on how to help Charlie from here... right, Dad?"
You send Lucifer a warning gaze, one that instantly has him melting. He couldn't deny your request, even if you had a stake in his heart....
"Sounds like a great idea! Id LOVE to know how this freEAAA--king man managed to meet both of my daughters! I'll make pancakes!!!" Alastor throttles Lucifer, waving him off dismissively," Oh nonsense! Niffty and I already have things covered... why don't we all meet in the dining hall? My mother's recipe for Jambalya is absolutely to DIE for!"
Niffty practically vibrates as she starts barreling down the hall," I'll get the plates!!! The plates!!!"
Angel's stomach growls, his hands flying to cover himself," Actually... some food doesn't sound too bad right now. I'm down for some Louisiana spice before work~" Angel slinks down the hall behind Niffty, eager to chow down. Vaggie slowly takes Charlie's hand, looking to the two newest guests," Right... Lucifer, sir, and uhh..."
You politely give Vaggie your name, making her relax," Right... just follow us this way. We can work on that tour after some food."
Both you and Charlie were absolutely beaming, gawking over your engagement band, while Alastor and Lucifer kept respectable distances from one another. Today would be one full of reunions... and maybe a fist fight or two.
But Alastor was more than keen to play. This had been the most entertaining stunt pulled by this hotel yet... and he couldn't wait to see what sort of Morningstar drama he could exploit... but for now, he graciously let you cling to his arm, escorting you and the other misfits down the hall while humming a tune.
To the outside world, the two of you were perfectly balanced, opposites-attract peas in a pod... and, as far as you knew, they weren't exactly wrong.

lollipop kiss 🍭 kusakabe atsuya
Tumblr media
summary: your workplace crush, kusakabe, is pretty dense when it comes to romance, so you try to ease things out with a bag of lollipops.
cw: gn!reader x kusakabe, comedy, fluff, this man is completely clueless but reader isn’t making things any easier. making out and happy ending. there is a bartender very invested in the drama. a little suggestive if you squint.
wc: 1.4k
notes etc.: my contribution for the foodies and goodies challenge. i’m not tagging myself because the voices in my head haven’t reached that point yet. special thanks to @jjk-eugie for inspiring me, i had hit a slump on this (you can read their kusahigu fic that saved my life here). song (?) > sugar, sugar (the archies). I had a lot of fun writing this, hope you enjoy it too!
Tumblr media
Here’s the thing - Kusakabe was a brilliant sorcerer. He was regarded by all of the other first grades as the strongest first grade there was.
Regarding human matters, though, he could - and frequently would - be dense like a rock.
To put it bluntly - not a door, but just as thick.
So when it came to romance, attempts to get his attention usually fell on deaf ears.
When you realized you had it down bad for him, you knew you were in for a ride, to say the least.
First, there were the coffee attempts. You had to call him out for a coffee around three times before he accepted it - according to him, there was no need to spend money going out for coffee when Jujutsu High provided you all with free vending machine coffee. You had to patiently explain to him that leaving the premises for a while was the actual goal.
Then, came the drink nights. These weren’t particularly hard, given he did like his alcohol, but he always invited someone else to tag along. Utahime had the good sense to stop going after realizing what you were trying to do when inviting Kusakabe out, but you weren’t as lucky with the other sorcerers.
And finally, something about the days you went out together always gnawed at you. You felt like Kusakabe was in an unreadable state of mind. He’d either stare at you when you weren’t looking - fully believing you didn’t notice it -, or be the most unbothered person in that place. Whenever you approached him trying to make a move, he would act like he had absolutely no interest in you.
It was driving you insane.
Tonight, you were both sharing a few drinks after a particularly gnarly day at work, exorcizing curse after curse after curse. It was that time of year, after all. You were a few pints of beer in already, and he had downed at least two gin tonics by then.
“I’ve got a gift for you, Kusakabe!” you chirped.
“Really? What? Is it a special occasion?” he asked while looking at you surprised.
“No, I just saw it and I remembered you.”
You pulled a giant sack of lollipops from your bag and put it over the counter.
The bartender was looking from afar, and had taken the dynamic between you and Kusakabe as a live soap opera of sorts, one new chapter each week. Last week, you seemed particularly annoyed at the sorcerer and he didn’t notice it - as he usually wouldn’t unless you were literally screaming at him.
“Okay...” Kusakabe offered, slightly uncertain as he pulled the bag towards him.
“This supposedly has five flavors - peach, strawberry, mango, pineapple and watermelon. Since you always have a lollipop with you, I thought it would come in handy,” you chimed in, sparing him a smile.
“That’s... thanks,” was all he said, and for a moment you thought you saw his face and the tips of his ears take on a dusty pink tint.
“So... let’s taste it?”
“Hm... what?”
His face grew redder, and you were almost sure it wasn’t your imagination.
“The lollipops, Kusakabe. Taste the lollipops.”
The bartender scoffed from the other side, keeping down a chuckle.
“Oh! Yeah, sure,” Kusakabe replied, pulling the bag open.
And off you two went pulling lollipop after lollipop from the bag, one of each flavor.
After about an hour or so of chatting and candy, he pulled the only pineapple one there was inside the bag and shoved it into his mouth.
“Oh, that’s the only pineapple one,” you noted. The liquor-bought courage was finally kicking in, and you were ready to make a move.
“Hm, really? I’m sorry, I didn’t notice,” he replied, brushing the nape of his neck with his hand.
“Oh, it’s no trouble. Perhaps I can still taste it,” you remarked, a cheeky smile pulling on your face as you edged yourself closer to him.
The bartender heard your words and stepped nearby, fairly ignoring someone that was calling from the other side of the vicinity.
This was it. All the drama and emotional investment... The pay-off was finally coming.
“Oh, sure. Of course,” Kusakabe replied, and he signaled for the bartender, which got you and the bartender thoroughly confused, “can you get me a glass of water, please?”
It all went swiftly, much to yours and the bartender’s shock. Kusakabe got the glass of water, pulled the lollipop from his mouth, put it into the water and pushed it into your direction.
He seemed pleased with himself in finding a solution for a non-existent problem.
This man better be joking.
“Kusakabe, you moron!” You exclaimed angrily.
“What!? What happened? What did I do!?” Kusakabe asked in earnest, which just served to deepen your annoyance.
“I was asking for a kiss!” you furiously retorted.
He only registered the ‘I was asking’ part.
“Why not just ask for what you want?! Why can’t people simply ask for things directly?! I’m not a psychic!”
The bartender’s mouth formed a silent ‘o’ before it got covered with an incredulous hand.
The plot thickens.
“God, you have no ease for subtleties! How is that possible!? Are you even human!?” you were actively yelling at Kusakabe by that point, lifting yourself up from your seat.
“And are you allergic to communicating directly what you want?!” he retorted, feeling unjustly chastised for not understanding something he had no obligation to guess in the first place.
You grunted, enraged, and began stepping away from him, towards the bar’s exit. After you left, he face-palmed, upset that somehow, things went south with you again.
Only then it dawned on Kusakabe you said you wanted to kiss him.
“Fuck, I’m an idiot,” Kusakabe muttered to himself.
“Kind of,” the bartender mindlessly replied, forgetting this wasn’t an actual soap opera on TV, but a pretty interactive show.
“Huh?” the sorcerer questioned, not sure if he heard it right.
“I mean... I can put it all on your tab and you go after... Uh... it’s fine.”
Looking at the bartender, Kusakabe inhaled deeply and nodded, grabbing the lollipops bag, shoving it inside his trench coat’s pocket, and running after you.
“Hey!” Kusakabe exclaimed when outside, seeing you a little further ahead on the street.
You heard his voice and picked up your pace, taking a turn into a smaller, secondary street.
“Come on, I know you heard me, slow down!” his steps came quicker, and in a second he was right beside you, while you huffed and puffed in frustration.
“Just let me go home, Atsuya! This is too humiliating. I thought you liked me, but I think I’m the moron who got it all wrong!”
He held your arm and you halted your stomping, even though you kept staring at the ground, thoroughly embarrassed.
“You... didn’t,” he stated, voice uncharacteristically faltering.
“... What?”
Kusakabe delicately turned you to look at him and cupped the side of your face with his hand. His eyes were locked to yours, and for a moment, you felt your heart fluttering in your chest. You could smell the sweet, alcoholic scent from his breath, and that was when you realized just how close he was.
“I-“ he stuttered for a moment before clearing his throat, “I’m going to kiss you now.”
Your breath got caught in its way out for a second before you replied.
“Okay.”
He closed the gap between you both, pressing your bodies together with his hand over your back, and his lips descended to yours softly, waiting for you to meet him halfway. You pressed back against him, drawing both your hands to the nape of his neck, and deepened the kiss instantly, robbing him of a gasp.
Your tongue teased the seam of his mouth, and he welcomed you in, pressing his own tongue over yours.
Oh, you definitely tasted that pineapple lollipop.
His aftershave still lingered on his skin, and it smelled minty fresh, filling up your nostrils in an instant as your lips slid over each other.
You both parted for a moment.
“You know what?” you said with a smirk forming on your face.
“Hm, what?” he genuinely asked.
“I think the pineapple one was my favorite flavor.”
With an amused expression, he suddenly bit your chin, planting quick pecks and kisses down your jawline and neck.
You chuckled, asking, “since we’re out of the bar, would you like to come over to my house? I remember there were still a lot of lollipops in that bag and I don’t feel like leaving them all to you.”
With a mischievous smile on his face, he pressed a quick kiss on your lips before replying.
“Of course.”

That Girl’s A Liar~
Satoru Gojo x F!Reader
Here is part II my lovelies! Thank you all for the support and I hope you enjoy! <333 | Part I |
Tumblr media
"One of these days, you’re going to get yourself really hurt, Toru! You need to be more careful," I scolded the white-haired boy. I wrapped the bandage around his upper arm, trying to focus on the task at hand rather than getting distracted by his shirtless body.
Earlier that day, Satoru and Suguru had been dispatched to exorcize a particularly nasty cursed spirit that had been terrorizing a nearby town. The mission was supposed to be straightforward, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. The cursed spirit, more powerful than initially anticipated, had launched a ferocious attack. In the ensuing battle, Satoru had been injured, his arm nearly severed by a brutal strike. Despite the pain, he managed to defeat the curse with Suguru's help, but not without sustaining significant injuries.
Back at the school, I waited anxiously for their return. When I saw Satoru limping back with Suguru supporting him, my heart sank. Shoko immediately took Suguru to another room to tend to his injuries, leaving me to care for Satoru.
“Relax, Y/N. Tis but a scratch. It’ll take a lot more than that to truly hurt me!” he said with a cocky smile, his confidence radiating as usual. I looked at him with a deadpan expression, unimpressed by his bravado.
“This is not just a scratch, you idiot! Your arm was almost cut off from that curse!” I retorted, my voice filled with frustration and worry.
“Still, nothing can stop me. I’m literally the strongest sorcerer here in our high school. Probably of all time, too,” he boasted, clearly not grasping the gravity of the situation.
“Toru, for the last time, I don’t care if you are the strongest sorcerer in the world! You are still a human being, not some indestructible weapon! You could still... never mind,” I started, trailing off as my mind filled with the horrifying image of him getting severely hurt, even to the point of death.
Toru’s smirk quickly disappeared as he noticed the bright blue skies outside the window getting covered by dark clouds. He looked at me with genuine concern, fully aware that the sudden weather change was my doing, a manifestation of my emotional turmoil. I was losing control of my cursed technique.
“Hey…” he said, his voice softening. He placed his uninjured hand on my arm, snapping me out of my dark thoughts.
“I’m going to be okay, Y/N. You know that, right? I’m gonna be here for a long, long time,” he said, trying to reassure me. His attempt to comfort me only made my brows furrow deeper.
“That’s the thing, Toru. You don’t know that. And if you keep acting like nothing can stop or hurt you, you are going to eventually be met with a bad fate,” I said, clipping the wrap around his arm with a finality that echoed my worries.
“I… I just don’t want to see you hurt, okay?” I added, turning around to put everything away. My voice softened, betraying the depth of my feelings and the fear that gnawed at me every time he recklessly threw himself into danger.
Toru sighed, running his free hand through his hair. "I get it, Y/N. I really do. It's just... this is who I am. Protecting people, fighting curses—it's what I'm meant to do. But I promise you, I'll be more careful from now on," he said, his tone earnest.
I sighed. "You better. Because if you keep scaring me like this, I might just have to find a way to tie you down and keep you safe myself," I said with a weak smile, trying to lighten the mood.
He chuckled softly, shaking his head. "I'd like to see you try," he teased. Toru felt his body warm up as he absorbed my words. Did you really care about him that much? The thought seemed to surprise him, stirring something deep within him that he hadn’t fully acknowledged before. Maybe, just maybe, you possibly felt something for him as well? Or did you mean it as a friend? These types of questions pondered his mind as you continued to put the medical supplies away.
“Okay, that should do it. Now let's get out of here before Utahime sees us,” I said, turning around to face him. As I did, I realized how close we were to each other, our faces only inches apart. The sudden proximity made my breath catch in my throat, and I could see the same surprise reflected in his eyes.
We both instantly tensed up, the proximity catching us off guard. The air between us felt charged, a silent tension simmering just below the surface. I could feel the warmth radiating from his body, and my heart began to race.
I quickly pulled away from him, feeling my face heat up with embarrassment. “S-Sorry. I-I didn’t—” I stammered, struggling to find the right words to diffuse the awkwardness. My mind raced, trying to process the unexpected closeness and what it might mean.
“No, don’t be,” he interrupted, his voice softer, trying to compose himself. He reached out and gently touched my arm, his touch sending a shiver down my spine. “I, uh, didn’t mind,” he added, his voice carrying an uncharacteristic vulnerability that took me by surprise.
Now all that was left was an awkward silence between us, the unspoken tension hanging heavily in the air. We both stood there, not knowing what to say next, the moment stretching out longer than it should have. Thankfully, a miracle happened when Suguru walked in, his presence breaking the silence and startling both Toru and me.
“Hey, you two. Shoko and I were thinking about going out for dinner tonight. You two are coming with us. I don’t care what you say. Shoko has been on my case all week saying how we need to all hang out,” Suguru said, instantly sensing the tension between us. He noticed how red Satoru had gotten, causing him to smirk.
“Well… I’ll just be waiting outside for you two when you’re ready,” he teased, his eyes twinkling with mischief. Just as he began to leave, he turned to face Satoru, giving him a knowing wink.
Toru just flipped him off, trying to ignore the rapid pace of his heartbeat. “That guy,” he muttered, shaking his head, but there was no real malice in his tone.
I chuckled, grateful for Suguru’s impeccable timing. “Guess we don’t have much of a choice, huh?” I said, trying to ease the lingering awkwardness. My heart was still pounding from the earlier closeness, but I tried to act normal.
“Nope. But maybe it’ll be fun,” Toru replied, a hint of his usual confidence returning. He ran a hand through his hair, still looking a bit flustered. “Let’s get going before they come back and drag us out,” he added, offering a small, somewhat shy smile.
As we made our way outside, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of emotions. The unexpected closeness with Toru had stirred something in me. I glanced at him out of the corner of my eye, wondering if he felt the same.
“So, dinner, huh? Any idea where they’re planning to go?” I asked, trying to keep the conversation light and avoid the tension that still lingered.
“No clue, but knowing Suguru, it’ll be somewhere decent,” Toru replied, his voice a bit more relaxed. He glanced at me, his eyes searching mine for a moment. “You okay? You seem… a bit off.”
“Yeah, I’m fine,” I said quickly, hoping to sound convincing. “Just a lot on my mind, I guess. And, you know, you scared me today with that injury.”
Toru’s expression softened, and he reached out to touch my arm again, this time more deliberately. “I’m sorry about that. I promise I’ll be more careful. I don’t like seeing you worried,” he said, his voice sincere.
“I appreciate that, Toru. Just… take care of yourself, okay? I need my study partner with me at all times.” I joked, feeling a strange mix of relief and lingering tension.
He chuckled and nodded, his eyes lingering on me for a moment longer before we continued walking.
*****
Dinner with Suguru and Shoko turned out to be more fun than I had expected. The restaurant was a cozy place near the edge of town, known for its delicious ramen and lively atmosphere. The walls were adorned with colorful posters and fairy lights, giving the place a warm, welcoming vibe. The inviting aroma of rich broth and sizzling dishes filled the air as we walked in. Shoko was already there, waiting for us at a corner table, waving enthusiastically as soon as she spotted us.
“Hey, you two lovebirds!” she teased, her grin wide and mischievous. Both Toru and I blushed furiously, glancing at each other awkwardly.
“Cut it out, Shoko,” Toru grumbled, though his eyes sparkled with amusement. Despite his annoyance, there was a playful edge to his voice that made me smile.
As we settled in, the conversation flowed easily. Suguru recounted a hilarious story about one of their recent missions, complete with exaggerated impressions and wild gestures. Shoko chimed in with her dry wit, and soon, we were all laughing.
Despite the light-hearted atmosphere, I couldn’t help but steal glances at Toru. His laughter was infectious, his eyes crinkling at the corners when he smiled, and every time he laughed, my heart seemed to flutter a little more. I wondered if he noticed the way I looked at him, or if he felt the same way.
At one point, Toru caught me staring and our eyes locked for a moment longer than usual. I quickly looked away, feeling my cheeks heat up. Did he know what I was feeling? Did he feel it too?
“You okay?” Toru asked, his voice soft and concerned. He leaned in slightly, his presence calming yet thrilling.
“Yeah, just thinking,” I replied, trying to sound casual. “This place is really nice. Thanks for bringing us here, Shoko.”
“Anytime,” Shoko said with a wink. “I knew we all needed a break. Plus, watching you two dance around each other is the best entertainment.”
“Shoko!” I exclaimed, my face growing even hotter.
“Well, it’s true,” Suguru added with a smirk. “You two have been acting strange ever since we got here. Just saying.”
Toru cleared his throat, looking uncharacteristically flustered. “Alright, enough of that. Let’s just enjoy the food, okay?”
We all laughed, and the conversation shifted to lighter topics. As the night wore on, the laughter and camaraderie made me feel more at ease.
Midway through the meal, I excused myself to go to the restroom. As I washed my hands, I stared at my reflection in the mirror, trying to steady my racing heart. Why was it so hard to just tell him how I felt? Every time I thought I had the courage, something held me back. Maybe it was fear of rejection, or perhaps the worry that it would change everything between us.
When I returned to the table, I saw Aksana entering the restaurant. She was hard to miss with her striking blond hair and confident stride. As soon as she spotted us, her eyes lit up, and she made a beeline for our table, her gaze zeroing in on Toru.
“Hey, Satoru!” she greeted, her voice overly sweet and completely ignoring the rest of us.
“Aksana,” he acknowledged her with a nod. His usually bright eyes seemed a touch colder, and I couldn’t help but wonder if he was annoyed by her sudden appearance.
“Mind if I join you guys?” she asked, not waiting for a response before pulling up a chair next to Toru. She slid into the seat, her proximity to him making my stomach churn.
Suguru and Shoko exchanged glances, sensing the tension immediately. Suguru raised an eyebrow at me, while Shoko gave a small, sympathetic smile. I tried to focus on my food, but Aksana’s presence made it difficult. She leaned in close to Toru, laughing at his jokes in an exaggerated manner and touching his arm whenever she got the chance.
“So, Toru, I heard you had a pretty intense mission today,” Aksana said, her voice dripping with false concern. “You must be exhausted. Maybe I could help you relax later?”
Toru shifted uncomfortably, clearly not enjoying the attention. “I’m fine, really,” he replied, trying to gently brush her off. “Just needed some time with my friends.”
“Oh, but I’m sure they wouldn’t mind if I borrowed you for a bit,” she insisted, her smile not reaching her eyes. “Right, Y/n?”
I forced a smile, though it felt more like a grimace. “Actually, Aksana, we were in the middle of something. Maybe another time?”
Aksana’s eyes flicked to me with what seemed to be disgust, her smile faltering for a split second before she regained her composure. “Oh, of course. I just thought Satoru might like a change of company.”
Suguru, sensing the rising tension, decided to step in. “Actually, we’re all having a really good time together. It’s been a while since we all hung out like this.”
Shoko nodded in agreement, adding, “Yeah, I’ve been wanting us all to hang out again, so tonight seemed like a good night to do so.”
Aksana’s smile was tight, clearly masking her irritation. “Oh, well then, don’t mind me. I’ll just be sitting here, listening to your stories.” Her tone was overly sweet, but the fake smile gave her away.
The rest of the evening passed in a blur. The food was delicious, and the conversation lively, but Aksana’s presence cast a shadow over the fun. She kept trying to insert herself into our conversations, making pointed comments and giving Toru lingering looks. I even almost lost control of my cursed technique because she kept hugging his arm. And by that I mean the winds started to pick up like crazy outside, causing the doors to blow open, which startled a lot of people. Shoko thankfully brought me back to my senses, but it was still so aggravating to see Aksana practically throw herself on Toru. By the time we left the restaurant, I was feeling more confused and frustrated than ever.
Toru walked me home, the silence between us thick with unspoken words. The night air was cool, and I could feel the tension building with every step. Finally, we reached my doorstep. I turned to him, searching for the right words to express my feelings.
“Toru, I…” I began, my voice trailing off as I looked into his deep blue eyes.
“Yeah?” he prompted, his gaze fixed on mine, full of curiosity and something else I couldn’t quite place.
Before I could continue, my phone buzzed with a message from Kai. He needed help with the science project again.
Damnit, I forgot we needed to start working on that.
I recalled the scene vividly, etched into my memory like a photograph frozen in time. The classroom hummed with nervousness as Mr. Takahashi dropped the bombshell: a major science project due at the end of the semester…two months away.
—flashback—
“Y/n, you’ll be partnered with Kai,” Sensei Takahashi announced, gesturing towards Kai who was grinning nervously.
Kai’s eyes met mine briefly, and I could sense his relief mixed with a tinge of apprehension. “Looks like it’s you and me,” I said, offering a reassuring smile to calm his nerves.
“Yeah, for the next four months,” Kai replied, his voice tinged with what seemed to be disappointment. I looked towards him and found his eyes looking at someone else. I followed his gaze and saw him staring at another girl in our class, Amai, his expression softening with admiration.
I couldn't help but chuckle inwardly as I noticed Kai's subtle admiration for Amai. It was clear that he had a crush on her, which I thought was adorable.
"W-What?" he stammered, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment at being caught.
"Nothing, just thinking," I replied casually, suppressing a smile as I reached for a pencil and paper.
"Now, let's start brainstorming some ideas. What do you think we should do our project over?" I initiated, launching into a discussion about potential topics. Despite the distraction of Kai's crush, we delved into a detailed exchange of ideas, weighing the pros and cons of each suggestion.
—end of flashback—
I sighed, feeling torn between my responsibilities and my emotions. This moment was slipping away, just like so many others.
“Never mind,” I said, forcing a smile to hide my disappointment. “I’ll see you tomorrow, okay?”
Toru nodded, but there was a hint of disappointment in his eyes that mirrored my own feelings. “Yeah, see you tomorrow.”
As I watched him walk away, I couldn’t help but wonder what might have happened if I had just spoken up. Would he have understood? Would it have changed anything? The weight of my unspoken feelings pressed heavily on my heart. I turned and went inside, trying to shake off the lingering frustration.
That night, as I lay in bed, my mind replayed the evening’s events over and over. Aksana’s blatant attempts to get Toru’s attention, the way his eyes had softened when he looked at me, and the unspoken words that hung between us. It was all too much to process, and sleep came slowly.
*****
The next day at school, I was determined to talk to Toru, to finally clear the air between us. The tension that we had yesterday had been gnawing at me all night, and I couldn't bear another day of uncertainty. I spotted him near his locker, and with a deep breath, I began to make my way over.
As I approached, I noticed Aksana was already there, her laughter echoing through the hallway.
”Oh Toru, you’re really a great guy!” She praised, spotting me in the distance. Her eyes narrowed a bit as she continued to talk to him.
“You know, I actually need help with my homework and I was wondering if you could help me with it now since we have some free time?” She asked. As Toru was about to answer, he spotted you in the corner of his eye and turned towards you, a small, hopeful smile tugging at his lips, making my heart flutter with anticipation.
I smiled back and quickened my pace, but just as I was about to reach him, Kai stepped in front of me, blocking my path. "Y/N, I need to talk to you about something," Kai said urgently, his voice low. Toru's smile faded slightly as he noticed the interruption.
"Well, actually Kai, I'm kind of in the middle of something important," I replied, trying to keep the frustration out of my voice.
"Please, Y/N. It’s about Amai," Kai insisted, his eyes pleading. He leaned in closer, ensuring our conversation remained private. "I need your help."
Confusion flickered across my face as I looked up at him. Meanwhile, Toru's eyes narrowed, a twinge of jealousy evident as he watched us.
"What's going on, Kai?" I asked, my curiosity piqued despite the awkward timing.
Kai glanced around nervously before speaking. "I want to ask Amai to the dance, but I have no idea how to do it. I need your help to get to know her better."
I smiled softly at him, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. Toru's jaw clenched subtly at the sight. "Kai, the dance is still a while away. You have plenty of time to get to know her," I said, trying to calm his nerves.
"But that's the problem. I'm so nervous around her. I need someone to be there when I talk to her. Please, be my wingman," Kai pleaded, his desperation clear. He grabbed my hands, his earnestness almost palpable.
Toru's gaze darkened at the intimate gesture, his jealousy simmering just below the surface. I nodded towards Kai, deciding to help him after I got talk to Toru.
"Okay, I'll help you," I said, squeezing Kai's hands briefly before pulling away. "But wait here for a moment, I need to handle something first."
Before I could take another step, I saw Aksana grab Toru’s arm, her voice still bright and cheerful. “So, Toru, about that homework…” she trailed off, leading him away. My heart clenched slightly as I watched them walk off together.
"Y/N? Is everything alright?" Kai asked, his concern evident.
I sighed, feeling a wave of disappointment wash over me. "Yeah, let's just go," I replied, my voice heavy with frustration. The chance to clear things up with Toru had slipped away again.
*****
"Wait, I need to talk to—" Toru started, quickly removing Aksana's hand from his arm. He turned around, his eyes searching for me, but he was too late. I was already walking away with Kai.
"Are you alright, Toru? You seem tense," Aksana asked, her voice filled with concern as she noticed the change in Toru's demeanor.
Toru forced a smile, trying to mask his frustration. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just... thinking about some stuff," he replied vaguely, his gaze lingering where I had disappeared with Kai. The sight of me with someone else stirred a mix of regret and irritation within him.
Aksana's eyes followed his, her brow furrowing slightly. "Is everything okay between you two?" she asked gently, her voice soft. Aksana knew what she was doing. She feigned concern, but inside, she relished the friction between us. It was her chance to step in and take my place.
Toru hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. "It's... complicated," he admitted reluctantly, his thoughts still consumed by my departure with Kai. The unresolved tension gnawed at him, leaving him unsettled.
Aksana nodded understandingly, her expression sympathetic. "Well, if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here," she offered, placing a hand on his arm. He quickly removed it, the touch making him uncomfortable.
"Thanks, Aksana," he said, forcing a polite smile. His mind was still preoccupied with thoughts of you, and the conversation he desperately wanted to have.
“So, shall we go to that small little cafe and you can help me with the homework?” She asked.
"Sorry…I gotta go," he added abruptly, his voice strained. Leaving Aksana behind, he walked away, his emotions in turmoil. He needed to clear his head and find a way to resolve the growing tension between you two.
Aksana huffed as she watched the white haired boy leave her alone in the school hallway. She tapped her foot, folding her arms together as if she were in thought.
“Looks like I need to play harder…”

Some consider you the luckiest human being alive for dating Gojo Satoru. Others may wonder why you decided to date him in the first place. Dating the strongest sorcerer alive didn't frighten you or this whole new universe with curses and cursed spirits. You had always been considered peculiar anyway, out of the curve, so what was one thing more to add to your weirdness?
Satoru told you how powerful he was. No, not as a warning, more like someone declares they are Virgo or Aries or prefer fish instead of chicken. It was a fact: nobody else in this world was stronger than Gojo Satoru.
And sure enough, you could feel it. Small and low, but still there to remind you that Satoru hid a tremendous power inside of him that you weren't sure you would understand. Or cared. But most of the time, Satoru is chill, especially since you feed him into his sugar tooth and his need to be loved and cherished. And he spoiled you enough, so where was the problem?
Before, you thought dating someone so powerful could bring some unexpected dangers, but Satoru stated with confidence that no one would be crazy enough to hurt you, period. There was no discussion about that. Not one single moment you felt afraid anyway; Gojo Satoru would burn the entire world for you. He wouldn't stop until he exorcized every single one of them if a single strand of your hair was found out of place.
It was easy dating him, sharing your feelings and fears. Satoru always wanted to be the center of your attention: he was needy but had enough love to give you back (with some constant reminders of how lucky you were for dating him). Satoru was never disgusted: he embraced any of your weirdness and respected all of you, which delighted you and made you fall in love more and more.
But (because there is always a "but" and nothing can be flawless all the time) you never revealed to him your secret: Gojo Satoru is too perfect already. He accepts all of you, imperfect as you are; you are just too afraid he would never understand what you truly were.
It is on the night that you get followed that your secret spills out.
Satoru is on the other side of the country, exorcizing an "easy" curse (brutal for everyone else), and his phone has had no signal since he got there. Gojo complains to the curse that he can't say goodnight to you before slaying it. Finally, as he gets to the most elevated part of town, he is bombarded by messages from you begging for help.
"Satoru, I am being followed!"
"Please, please!"
"I am scared!"
You had sent your location to be found more easily; Gojo didn't waste time teleporting back to Tokyo. There is a certain coldness in his veins, his mind frantic as he floats above the place you sent, his blue eyes frantically searching your last known location. Satoru has one mission, and it is to find you.
He notices the amount of blood first in a dark alley. Satoru is there in the blink of an eye, his bandana still down, his eyes scanning the situation. There is so much blood splattered on the walls on the floor. It's too much to be from a single human being. There are guts, a half-eaten leg, and a scalp with short dark hair, masculine. Satoru can feel a twisted smile growing on his face. That's when he hears a weak "help me" behind the corner.
When Satoru turns around, he freezes for a second on his own Satoru time. There you are, alive. Alive with your mouth eating a man's stomach, not even raising your head to acknowledge Satoru's presence. He waits, keeping his distance, as you continue munching on the man's open belly. He seems to ask Satoru for help with his eyes, but the strongest sorcerer watches the scene with a tiny smile. He places his bandana back on his eyes, seeing more body parts behind you. Satoru presumed it was at least three attackers.
Satoru calls your name softly. Your head snaps in his direction, and Satoru has a vision of your glory: dark pupil eyes, mouth full of blood, dirty claws instead of nails. The same ones you used to cut this guy open. There was nothing human about you then, but Satoru still found you the prettiest thing he had ever seen. You seem to snarl in his direction, warning Satoru to back away while he continues smiling, content. As if he couldn't love you more. As if seeing the prettiest thing in his life, admiring it as a valuable artwork in a museum.
Your attention is back to the man who looks pretty close to death as you finish eating him, the sounds of bones breaking. When there is nothing else to eat, you sniff the air, looking at Satoru, tense.
You seem to slowly return to your usual self, realizing what you have done in front of your perfect boyfriend. He has finally seen your secret and the mess you are: eating human parts as the damned animal you are.
Satoru gets up, slowly walking towards you, and thankfully, you don't move away. You seem to recognize him, your lips still showing your teeth as a sign of defense, but Satoru isn't afraid. Even if you could pass through Mugen, you would never hurt him. He would bet his Six Eyes on that.
Gojo squats in front of you, placing his hands on your face. You don't try to get away, but your eyes demonstrate fear and some doubt.
"It is me. Just me. Come back to me now. Come on." Your eyes come back to your usual color as you listen to Satoru.
"Satoru?" Your voice is weak, and Gojo brings you to his chest. He doesn't seem to care you are getting his immaculate clothes dirty. "I tri-tried to call you…"
"It is okay. I am sure this isn't your fault."
"I am sorry you had to discover like this. They followed me! I begged them to leave me alone, but they continued following me. Until one tackled me and tried to place his hand inside my, my…"
"Shhhhh, it is okay now. I am glad you did it."
Satoru and you continue into that embrace until your shivers are gone. You are surprised, though thankful for Satoru. For understanding your other side that sometimes comes out and requires human meat. You control it the best you can, having raw meat when the urgencies got too strong, though everything fell apart when three men decided to attack you.
You didn't have a choice, begging them to stay away, calling Satoru to help you, even if it meant him discovering your secret.
You only reserved for people you consider genuinely evil, people who tried to harm you or others. You thought Satoru would give up on you after seeing what you actually were, but he seems to admire the fact you even tried to control.
"I will have someone clean this. Come on, let's go home and get you clean."
"You are not upset with me?"
"With the fact that you can take care of yourself? I'm proud. Come on."
Satoru helps you get up. You slowly walk away without looking backward, feeling calmer since you know now Gojo Satoru would love you no matter what.

Hi hi!
I currently have these two lines stuck in my head from “Slut!” by Taylor Swift, “If I’m all dressed up, they might as well be looking at us” and “In a world of boys, he’s a gentleman”. First time I heard it my brain went straight to Nanami Kento.
Could you write something for those lines?
Oh my God, I love this ask so much! 😭🫶🏻 thank you, anon, I hope this little drabble finds you. (written in 3rd person, the reader is referred to she/her, unedited.)
All Dolled Up - A Nanami Kento Fanfic (inspired by "Slut!" By Taylor Swift)
"Who do you think she's all dolled up for?"
The whispers surrounded her and wrapped around like a fur coat in the blaze of summer— itchy and terribly uncomfortable. Not to mention how it made her sweat. See, she knew how to make an entrance... adored it even, the way they'd foam at the mouth with every click-clack of her heels. But things were different now, and it was all because of the man extending his hand to her, body slightly bent out of respect as he looked up at her in what she hoped was adoration. Nanami and her had been sent on a mission together— exorcize the curses that had been plaguing a fancy restobar/casino under the guise of the newest couple among the upper class.
The problem was that as much as Nanami Kento liked to believe he was a lowkey guy who passed by unnoticed, it was actually quite the opposite. The man had eyes staring everywhere he went , trailing from the way a single lock of blond hair fell on his forehead (contrary to his usually combed-back hair) to his broad suit clad shoulders to his impeccably expensive looking, shined shoes. He even carried himself with an air of sophistication and importance. The world was his runway at that point.
And it so happened that Nanami was a regular at this particular restobar. He was known to come around to unwind, sometimes alone, sometimes under the persuasion of Gojo. Either way, people knew him well enough to know that this was the first time he'd brought a woman with him and, hence, couldn't stop their yapping and impolite stares.
Stepping down from their car, she placed her hand in his gently, not wanting to keep him waiting any longer. Nanami instantly pulled her in closer as they strolled inside, putting an appropriate distance between them yet close enough for him to lean down and whisper in her ear. "You're shaking." His hold on her hand tightened reassuringly. All the flashing lights and classy jazz playing in the background went dim at the heat of his touch, the calm of his voice.
"I am?" She managed to croak, grimacing internally. Confidence was not her closest friend when she was around a man as elegant and handsome as Nanami Kento— a man she found a little too attractive to be just a pretty colleague she was frequently paired up with.
Nanami nodded. "Yes. I take it it's your first time around here?"
She hesitated, not wanting to seem inexperienced. "Not drinking... but first time here at this particular fancy place."
Nanami smiled at the stress in her voice when she said, "Fancy." He might not have shown it, but he heard the whispers too. He was always watching, listening, hovering protectively when it came to her. "You're beautiful, darling. Radiant even. It's why they can't help but stare." Nanami stared too. His deep brown eyes bore into hers, and the depth of it held nothing but the truth.
She breathed an exhale of every bad essence she had trapped inside her heart. If Nanami, the man she had come to develop feelings for over the last few months, told her the reason the judgy rich stared and murmurred was because she was radiant and beautiful, then it had to be true. Yep, she conceded in her mind, I'm long gone for him.
"Well," she sighed, giving him her best smile to show how much she needed his words, his touch, his presence. "If I'm all dressed up, they might as well be looking at us. I mean... just look at us." The way she snudged him subtly with a proud, teasing smirk brought out one of Nanami's rare smiles. He couldn't help but lower his lips to press a kiss on the back of her hand. "Indeed. You are wise as you are beautiful, darling. Now, stay close to me... I'll keep a look out for that spirit manipulating curse."
She would never get used to the nickname, nevermind if it was fake. Just for tonight, perhaps she'd let herself believe that he ached for her the way she did for him. Perhaps she could have faith in the smiles he reserved only for her, in the soft and innocent touches, in the secretive glances and his need to be close to her at all times in some way or another, in his unwavering support and service to her.
Nanami was unlike any other man she had met— no, in the light of him, they all dimmed to mere little boys while his presence alone stood out like that of a gentleman in this fallen world.

"𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒, 𝐅𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐒"
Tumblr media
ㅡ cw: pre kenjaku , hurt comfort, panic attack
ㅡ a/n: commission request from my friend, i hope you guys enjoy !
The life of a sorcerer was never easy and anyone to talk as if it was, never had been a true sorcerer. It was a demanding and life-sucking job. To some it was what got them out of bed in the morning, their own motivation to keep going and to grow for themselves and those around them. It was a badge of honor in which they held high on their chest. That feeling of promise and responsibility to help the cities less fortunate. Being a sorcerer was like being a hero and as all the shows and comics will show you, the hero holds the biggest grin of pride on their face. They never ask for words of gratitude. Never ask for anything in return other than a promise to be safe or more cautious in the future.
But is that truly fair ?
Why is it that those blessed with the power and strength of a sorcerer have to lower themselves to those of the unfortunate. They’re not special and yet we treat them as if they deserve anything and everything. So when do we draw the line ? When will it be us sorcerers turn to benefit ?
The hands of justice and shitty reality tugged back and forth at the dark haired student as he sit at the edge of his bed.
EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISE . . .
Was this truly all he was good for ? Is this going to be his life over and over again ? An endless cycle of putrid disgusting curses being consumed by him and only him. All that weight weighing on his shoulders as he continues to lose himself physically and mentally. When will it all wash away from the sorcerer's mind just as he washes away the exorcized souls that are consistently digested.
Will this path curse him as well ?
Scattered around his room were clothes in disarray, half empty soba noodle cups, sticky half finished vending machine coffee cans that, all together, emitted a rather muggy and sour smell encasing the small space. But to Geto, did it truly matter what was or was not in the room ? It’s not like he would be around much longer.
After his talk with Yuki he was sure he knew what needed to be done. Sure he would miss Shoko and Satoru, but for the better of the curse society ties needed to be cut. Even more so they weren’t even here or have the knowledge of what’s going on.
Once again Geto was being pulled by rationality. A part of him didn’t want to leave. Didn’t want to go down the path of a true “only sorcerers” society. Maybe things would change for the better. Maybe it would get easier just after it got worse. It has to. Because if it doesn’t - if this is truly how life will go is there ever going to be a just world to live in ?
The tugs of justice and reality turned into heavy pulls. The sorcerer's mind was spinning into chaos as tears filled his eyes. As some false sense of stopping the spiral the Geto gripped tufts of hair into each hand and yanked down, the mental weight of it all forcing him to fall to his knees. Chest tightening as his entire body began to tremble and a wave of nauseating chills encased him. A numbness spread to his fingertips as his grip tightened. The sorcerers breathing became sporadic as he inhaled the familiar revolting smell of his room. It felt like he was once again ingesting yet another rotten soul. Flashbacks flickered in his mind.
EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISEINGEST EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISEINGEST EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISEINGEST EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISEINGEST EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISEINGEST EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISEINGEST EXORCISE INGEST EXORCISE.
An anguished cry belted out of Geto, tears rushing down his face letting any and all emotions that were once forced down, out for no one see. No one to hear, but him. In only seconds Suguru knew no one was left to help, no one to steer him away from the hollow-hearted path that is probable to come and yet a part of him wished - god he so desperately wished - that his ivory haired companion would burst through that door and embrace him. Embrace him the way he always craved, yet never yearned to reach out for. An embrace so strong and unyielding that would wash away all evil from his mind. All to be left would just be him.
Them .
Pessimism rotted his brain.
But how could someone like me ask for something so undeserving.
A doomed siren call of yearning. Every part of the sorcerers soul wanted, needed , Satoru. As if without him the air within his lungs would deplete and there would be nothing but a husk left of Suguru.
Without a black sheep how could one truly distinguish the golden sheep. Without darkness there would be light.
Above all else, without Satoru there would be no Suguru.
As torment plagued his mind everything fell silent. Only a low hum echoed his brain as the floor conjured and twisted below him. He was truly spiraling out of his own control.
Because of his own clouded state, it never brought to his attention that he wasn’t alone.
Stood in front of him was a pair of slick, low heel shoes that were custom to the school.
“. . .ru..”
“ Oi. . . guru..”
The hum soon began to die out.
“ Suguru. . .?”
The familiar voice eventually made it to his ears. Along with the audible voice, Suguru realized he was face to face with him as well. Two arms stretched out as they held his shoulders. In a daze Geto could make out the face of his ivory haired friend. What usually lied on his face was that stupid smile, but a new one took its place. His friends eyes were furrowed and pupils shaky as they darted back and forth to follow his own. As if he was trying to search for an answer in his eyes. An answer to all the screaming, the purposeful seclusions, to the empty promises he had given him when asked if everything was alright.
It wasn’t and it hasn’t been for a while, but was that really all so bad?
“ Suguru what happened? I heard you scream. What the hell is going on !” Gojo burst out in alarm. Maybe now wasn’t the best time to raise his voice, but something wasn’t right. Something needed to happen and now .
His throat was torn from earlier. Any word that followed came out warn and fading. The urge to collapse and let everything take over, was seeming like the easiest solution to it all. To just let go.
His body felt heavy and dead, at this point he was just a walking corpse. But every time his mind would come back to reality all he would see was him . Somehow that made everything just a little better. It gave him hope, but it also crushed him.
“I. . .cant” weakly words of defeat poured out from his lips. There was plenty to look at in the mess of his room, anything but his eyes. The look of pity on everyone's face once you finally spew out admittance to your flaws and fears.
They’re all the same.
Satoru was now sitting on the floor across from his friend. He knew that the words would form eventually, just a matter of when. All he could do was be there for him at this moment.
Reaching his hand out to the tired friend, Satoru placed it atop of his. A form of reassurance to show that he wasn’t alone and he never will be.
Upon the contact a feeling of disgust insued through Suguru’s body. A wave of anger and resentment flooded his brain. Not to the person before, but to himself.
This wasn’t right! He shouldn’t be here! Why is he here?
Though part of him longed for the situation, the part that revolted at it grew stronger. He could overcome this on his own, without Satoru.
DENIAL.
“Don’t touch me!” his arm flung as he slapped the gentle hand away from his own.
He felt bad for everything he did and what he’s about to do but, according to the raven haired sorcerer, this is how it should be.
“Don’t you understand that I don’t want your help? I never did!” his face twisted with anger and sorrow. Suguru couldn’t stop the words that spilled from his mouth. He wanted nothing more than to leap into his arms, never letting go. To tell him any and every concern, to finally rid himself of the rot that lay dormant in his brain.
To be free of it all. But that was never what Gojo was made for. He knew he couldn’t lay it all on him. In a kind world Suguru could speak of all his troubles and be heard, really heard. He could find a path that would make this seemingly wrongful world just feel a little bit better. A world where he could stay with Satoru side by side until the end of time. Together they were the strongest.
And yet here I sit pushing all of it away.
“You wrong.” Satoru’s voice was deep and grave. Deep down he knew something was going on with his friend, but even the strongest can be rather dull when it comes to reading emotions. Suguru’s weight loss was the first sign, then the restlessness, until eventually he became distant all at once. Guilt embedded into the before speaking sorcerer. The signs became so obvious and the solutions even more so. He could have stopped this before it became how it was now.
“I wasn’t there when you needed me most.  .  .” he began. Opposing his friend's demand, he leaned into Suguru’s shaking body, embracing him like he should have done before. Something he’s been yearning to do for years.
“But I’m here now. So please. .” guilty tears began to stain his skin. “.. please let me shoulder your troubles and misery too.”
It would be so easy to push away everything. To give everything up at Jujutsu Tech and lead a path of solitude. So easy to turn a blind eye to sentiment and justice. All it would take was one foot out the door who was once more waving its maledictive beckoning hand.
The cold calloused hands of the cursed society held a path of disarray and loneliness, something Suguru felt is the only place he truly belonged. But a flower can not thrive in the dark. It requires care, warmth, and love - something Jujutsu Tech, Satoru, and Shoko all provided.
And yet why does this now wilting flower want to walk into the cruel clutches of the neverending dark?
Lost eyes met with the hopeful blue ones before him as one last final call for help.
“Satoru. . .I’m terrified of what I’m becoming.”
ADMITTANCE.
The time finally came for the damaged flower to outstretch its roots before it wilts away for good.
With a torn voice Suguru spoke his final words of plea.
“Save me, Satoru.”
As the sun set the moon rose, engulfing the once scattered room in a faint glow. On a newly made bed lay two sorcerers, two friends, comrades, lovers . A gentle breeze escaped the window brushing through their hair and with a gentle hand the ivory haired boy tucked his partner's hair off his face. Like waves in the night's ocean their bodies rose and fell as a feeling of calm settled over them.
A vow between soulmates was made that night.
To save one is to save the other.
Without Satoru Gojo there would be no Suguru Geto.
Without Suguru Geto there would be no Satoru Gojo.
And just as the sun always sets, the moon will always rise.

Jujutsu Kaisen Kinktober
#1 Thigh Riding & 69 Mahito x Fem Reader
CW: Monster Fucking, Is Mahito his own cw?Dry humping, 69, we all know how he can morph himself so expect him changing parts of his body 🤭, unprotected sex, cream pie , breeding kink.
PART TWO
“Insatiable” he cooed, his arms crossed behind his head as he watched you grind yourself against his thigh.
Tumblr media
You huffed out air keeping your hands planted on his chest. His soft skin on his thigh morphing into a ribbed surface. The sensation sending shivers down your spine with each time your clit coasted over a nub just right. A chuckle passing through Mahito’s lips, a devilish grin following it “who knew a sorcerer would be such a whore for a curse, I think I’ll keep you” he chewed on his bottom lip as he watched your cheeks burn a bright pink.
“S-shut up, you’ll ruin it” you said between pants, you were right if you thought about it too much you’d feel dirty for being addicted to a monster, a murder, a curses touch. The way his body morphed to please every inch of you. A sensation you could never get over.
He looked so pretty under you, his two toned eyes, his muted blue hair, the way he looked into your eyes keeping your attention. “Well it’s true, how many times are ya ganna cum on my leg ? I make you cum so hard and I don’t even lift a finger. Falling asleep but once you wake you start up all over again. Weren't you sent here to exorcize me?”
He teased, only riling you up more.
He was right, you were sent there to clean up the mess he made but he managed to keep you captive and once you ran out of stamina you were ready to accept a defeat but instead he sat behind you, wearing a smile on his face before he began to speak. Hours passed of just conversation before things escalated, his hands creating goosebumps as he ran them along your thigh. You couldn’t deny he was attractive and alluring, letting him continue to explore your body. Positions changing as he set you onto his thigh, the warmth pooling between your legs made him bite his lip. He had you right where he wanted you, pulling your head down to meet his.
His lips grazing against yours before his tongue slipped into your mouth. Exploring every nook of you. His hands resting on your waist as he helped set the motion of grinding against his thigh. “What’s your name?” He asked, stopping your movement making you moan out in displeasure.
“It’s y/n. Can w-we continue?” You tried to move but his strength kept you stuck. “In a rush aren’t we? You were ganna cum on my thigh weren’t you, y/n? That was quick, bet no one has made you cum this fast before.” Mahito said, his words slightly embarrassing you, turning you on more and more.
He pushed your hips down harder onto his thigh before he allowed you to move again. Each movement making the knock in your stomach grow tighter and tighter. Repetitive moans of his name leaving your lips as hips shuttered against him with your orgasam. His thigh covered in your juices, watching him swipe his fingers over it and bringing it to his lips, his tongue rolling out and licking them clean was the last thing you saw before your vision went blurry. He held your body close to his as you slept on him, his fingers combing through your hair before he took a rest of his own.
And that’s how it went on, each time you awoke the feeling between your legs would return, the need for him flooding your mind. His hands restricting your movement once again “now, now y/n. I think you’ve had your fun. I wanna try something else this time and see how long you can last for me” Mahito said, his eyes slightly hooded as you nodded your head.
Lifting you off his thigh he had you turn around, his hands grabbing you closer to his face. Ripping your drenched panties off of you with ease, you stared at the sight below you. A large bulge pulsating in his pants, you placed your hand over top of it squeezing it softly. A groan slipping past Mahito’s lips, his tongue lolling out and licking his lips. “If you would’ve asked I would’ve given it to you sooner.”
Unzipping his pants he raised his hips up to help you get them off. His cock springing free onto his stomach, he was the largest you’ve ever seen. How would it fit anywhere, the veins continuously becoming more prominent. Mahtio sensed your uneasiness with the way your body tensed “we’ll get it to fit eventually but if I have to I’ll try making it smaller if you can’t take -“ he wasn’t able to finish his sentence before your lips were wrapped around his tip.
Taking him into your mouth inch by inch, determined to prove him you were worthy for him to keep his original form.
A dragged out moan filled the air before he pulled your hips down making your cunt connect to his lips, his tongue diligently slipping between your lips and licking back up to your clit. Circling it before his placed his lips on it and sucking along it. Pulling a moan from you, the vibration making Mahito grunt.
The feeling of your tongue running up and down his length and your soft chokes made him wish he could see your face. It was probably covered in saliva and all red from your efforts to pleasure him. How cute you probably looked, mouth stuffed with his cock. The mental image driving him insane as he picked up his pace, adding his thumb to pleasure your clit as his tongue explored your gummy walls. He was getting close to his release each time you took his cock deeper and deeper into your throat.
Determined to get you to finish with him he took pauses between his licks -
“Your doing so good y/n. Maybe as a reward I should fill you up huh y/n? Then you’ll never want to leave here. I dunno if I can get your pregnant but it’s worth a try.” Mahito said, his thumb continuing to massage your clit. He could tell you were getting close by the way your walls squeezed against his tongue. “Com’on sweetheart give me an answer won’t you?” He felt a shift of your body with the nickname, a sign you were close.
All you could do was nod your head and repeat “please” over and over again, your mind running blank as you took his cock back into your mouth bobbing your head along his length. Purely drunk on his cock, the tip leaking pre cum. Just before you could orgasm you felt something poking at your entrance, turning your head slightly you were able to get a glimpse of Mahito’s morphed hand, coming from his palm the shape resembling his cock, the tip red and dripping. His devilish grin catching your gaze as he rubbed it between your lips collecting your juices on it before he thrusted it inside with one swift movement.
His cock felt like it was splitting you in two as it completely filled you creating a small bulge on your lower stomach, each thrust hitting your G spot making your legs shake. You tried your best to keep your pace sucking him off but all you wanted to do was scream from pleasure.
One more thrust was enough for him, his free hand gripped onto your ass as you came, your cunt clutching against him making you milk him of everything he had. Ropes of white filling both your mouth and cunt. He let your ride out your high as he watched the cum begin to seep out of you. Pulling his hand away from you as it morphs back into just a hand, his cock slipping out of your mouth as your body collapsed onto his.
“Seems like that’s all she needed, hopefully she stays asleep.” Mahito said, pulling you off him and setting you back down onto his clothes he bunched up as a pillow before he laid next to you.
“My new toy, I’d rather die than let you get away from me” he cooed before shutting his eyes.

SWEETER THAN DEATH
SUMMARY: The absorption of a curse has always been disgusting and lonely. Well, at least until Gojo showed up.
PAIRING: Geto Suguru & Gojo Satoru
WORD COUNT: 2,244
WARNINGS: Brief descriptions of vomiting, angst, Geto POV, my own silly headcanons about Geto's connection to curses. :)
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hi, I saw this headcanon and my JJK brain rot grew three sizes in the span of a minute, so I made this. Also, knowing me I'm probably going to get consumed by these two so if you want to be tagged in future JJK stuff just let me know!
MASTERLIST
-
The flavour is revolting. A combination of putrid acidity and rotten flesh —it’s the kind of taste that would churn even the strongest of stomachs, resulting in Geto himself struggling to suppress it.
As he stands alongside Gojo, imagining the process of its inevitable digestion, he still can’t manage to do it in front of people. Fearing that they might judge his lack of composure each time he has to force the cursed sphere down, he merely pockets it instead. Muttering something along the lines of I’ll save it for when I’m hungry at the same time Gojo stretches his spine, acting none the wiser.
“What do they taste like anyway?”
They taste like death, he wants to say, like a decomposed corpse that’s expelled its insides or a pile of vomit left out in the sun. Instead, though, he just shrugs and tells him they’re flavourless. An empty vessel that fills him up but fails to provide the enjoyment of actually eating a proper meal.
An answer that Gojo thankfully accepts with a nod before moving on—both of them walking down the street as he starts yammering on about whatever topic of interest he’s deemed exciting enough to share. Forever failing to catch on to the fact that all Geto wants is some peace and quiet as they make their way back to campus.
This time it’s movies. Specifically Western ones. None of which Geto has seen or has any interest in, considering all he can think about is the curse that rests against his palm. Specifically how it causes his skin to itch with need despite wanting nothing more than to toss it as far as he can so that he doesn’t have to experience it slipping down his throat.
He’s still not entirely sure why it happens but after a curse has been exorcized it’s as if this connection forms inside his brain. One that requires him to swallow the damned thing as quickly as possible, assuming there’s some sort of time limit. As if he doesn't, something bad might happen. So much so that, even now, even though it’s only been a few minutes since he initially got rid of it, he can feel it calling out to him in the back of his mind. Begging for him to eat —screaming at him to absorb its contents until suddenly they find themselves in the heart of Kyoto.
At which point Geto can hardly contain the temptation. Palming the sphere with tightened fingers, it’s as if he can feel the curse inside pressing against the outer walls. Its voice echoing overtop of whatever Gojo’s saying now. Forcing him to close his eyes and breathe as he digs his nails into his own flesh, forcing his hands to his sides rather than inside the pockets of his pants.
“It looks so good! We should definitely see it when it comes out!” Gojo practically yells —most likely still talking about movies, prompting Geto to press his lips into a false smile and nod.
Something he does quite often these days thanks to the amount of missions they’ve been going on.
“Do you have a favourite?”
In response, he blinks, trying to force himself to return to the conversation. To seem like he’s present and calm rather than bursting at the seams with fear. “Hm?”
“Movie, Suguru!” Gojo chastises, rolling his eyes at Geto’s lack of attention as he shoves his arm. “Weren’t you listening?”
“Course.”
“Liar!”
This time Geto rolls his eyes. Unable to come up with a clever rebuttal thanks to the curse’s desire to be consumed as quickly as possible.
“I swear, you’re always elsewhere.”
“What do you mean?”
“That head of yours.” Before he can process what Gojo is doing he feels his index finger pressed against his forehead, pushing him backwards roughly. Forcing Geto to grunt at the impact before swatting away his hand. “It’s got you distracted.”
“I’m not distracted.”
“Then what’s my new favourite movie?”
Again, Geto fails to come up with a response, resulting in the humiliated feeling of Gojo Satoru being right. A feeling so utterly embarrassing that for a moment he forgets that he should be excusing himself to feed. To give in to the pressure of the curse’s voice penetrating every corner of his mind. To force the rotting flavour down his throat so that he can once again feel nothing.
It takes a while, but eventually, when there’s a pause in Gojo’s one-sided conversation, he lies and says he has to go to the bathroom. Another excuse his friend accepts without question, pulling out his phone while Geto walks a block back before dipping into the nearest alleyway. Completely unaware of the shaking hands that pull the curse out of Geto’s pants pocket.
EAT ME. EAAAT ME.
By the time he’s out of sight, the voice is borderline hysteric as it sits in his hand. Causing him to narrow his eyes in annoyance, almost immediately he raises the sphere to his mouth while clearing his throat, preparing the space with reluctant thoughts. Wishing just once he can find it in himself to consume without struggle. To taste without the urge to vomit. To feel, just this once, like his ability is more than just a fucking curse.
Swallowing hard, he does his best to imagine something else in his mouth. Dorayaki, cheesecake —hell even those awful black sesame cookies his mom used to make when he was a kid. Anything to distract himself from the truth as he slips the curse between his lips, immediately gagging when the acrid taste first hits his tongue.
He isn’t sure why but every time feels worse than the last. As if the continual ingestion of these creatures is somehow rotting him from the inside out. Consuming his quality of life each time he’s forced to absorb it.
Which is ultimately an assumption he thinks about often. Considering that’s all he’s become lately, the idea that he’s been deemed as nothing more than some glorified maid being sent out to clean up messes really pisses him off. Especially because he knows that despite being an equal level to Gojo, the only reason he’s allowed to tag along is because everyone knows he’s a liability. A potential threat they might need to subdue in the future.
Deep down, he knows he’s one wrong thought away from being subdued. After exorcising and absorbing over and over and over again, he can feel the madness slipping through. All the questions of whether or not it’s worth it to continue running rampant through his thoughts as he inevitably spits the curse out, heavily breathing through the rancid taste of failure yet again.
Under his breath, he swears and roughly grips the curse feeling his limbs begin to twitch —the angered voice returning before he can even think to suppress it.
EATMEEATMEEATMEEATME!
And all he wants is to listen. To grant the voice it's wish so that he may get his. But at the back of his mind, all he can think about is death. How it lingers against his taste buds, filling every crevice of his mouth with the kind of flavour he’d hardly wish upon his worst enemy. How it causes his thoughts to shift to a world where curses no longer exist. A world where he can finally live and breathe and—
“Suguru?”
He’s on his knees panting through the pain. Still gripping onto the sphere, instead of raised into the air it’s wedged between the concrete and his palm. Becoming more and more pressurized the longer Geto stares at Gojo’s frame, realizing he’s been had. That the illusion of his strength has been reduced to weakness in a matter of seconds.
A fact that makes him wish the taste inside his mouth was real. That instead of death on his tongue there was instead death in his heart. In his stomach and his lungs —spreading throughout his system in a path that would eventually lead to nothing but darkness.
Kneeling on the ground, he wishes he were dead instead of staring into the bluest eyes he’s ever seen, watching them narrow with worry. Seeing them twist and turn into shapes filled with panic and confusion and pity until they’re sitting directly in front of him.
“What’s wrong?”
For a while, he doesn’t respond. Instead, he only lowers his head and closes his eyes, allowing the breath of his lungs to filter through his tainted throat. Desperately attempting to coat it in a layer of something other than the leftover flavour of the curse until he’s able to look at Gojo, muttering out a pained bad.
“Bad?”
He nods his head, watching Gojo glance around the alley. Paying no mind to the curse in his hand until eventually it clicks and all he can do is stare. Focusing on the way Geto’s fingers angrily grip the sphere. Most likely wondering why he’s spent all his time lying about something so trivial as taste.
“I thought you said they don’t taste like anything.”
Despite everything, all Geto does is laugh darkly, shaking his head. Trying to act as calmly as possible even though the curse's voice is fully ripping its way through his mind now.
“Guess I really am a liar.”
“Do they always taste bad?” Gojo asks, reverting the subject to its original topic. Prompting Geto to wonder why he cares to question an answer that’s so obviously right in front of him in the first place.
Because sure, Gojo’s always been a bit ignorant of these kinds of things, deeming himself too important not to be given exactly what he wants regardless of how easy it is. But he’s never acted like that with him. At least, not in such a personal way. Not in a way that could result in some sort of crossed boundary.
So, it throws him off. As he looks back up, watching Gojo’s hand tentatively rise to cup his cheek. How his thumb shifts to stroke the highest point of his bone structure before brushing away the loose hairs that have fallen in front of his face. How somehow the tenderness of his touch feels like the most painful thing he’s ever experienced, unaware of whether his actions are the result of pity or not.
Which is why he brushes him off. Throwing his arm in the way of his friend’s lingering hand, he can’t help but groan at the sudden lack of contact as he falls back. His back crashing against the brick wall behind him as he glares into Gojo’s eyes.
As it happens, Gojo jumps at the sudden movement but doesn’t do anything to stop it. Instead, merely allowing Geto to stir in his anger as he hugs the curse against his chest, trying not to cry.
Because despite the strength he manages to exude each time he stands alongside Gojo, deep down he always feels this weak. As he blinks back tears, hearing the repetitive chant of the curse in his hands —feeling the madness it inflicts as Gojo inches a bit closer, telling him that he’s okay in such a contradictive way— all he can do is sit. And stare. Attempting to calm himself down as Gojo shoves a hand into his pocket, eventually producing a closed fist.
“Here.”
Almost immediately, Geto looks at him with confusion. The kind of look that results in Gojo scoffing in annoyance and opening his palm to reveal a piece of candy.
“Listen, I don’t know if it’ll help but—“
“I’m fine.”
“Sure, okay… but maybe it’ll make it easier.”
He wants to tell him that it won’t. That no matter how hard he tries to get rid of the taste that remains long after he’s consumed a curse, it’s always there. Sitting in the farthest corners of his body, waiting for their chance to become present once again. Waiting to make him feel disgusting and weak and—
“Stop being so prideful and take the damn candy, Suguru.”
Before he can deny him again Gojo grabs one of his hands and places it in the centre. Keeping it locked lightly around Geto’s wrist as the two of them continue to stare, wondering what the other’s thinking. Both of them trying to find the best way to go about this vulnerable moment they’ve just shared until Gojo lets him go.
At which point Geto feels that tinge of pain again. The one where he isn’t sure why his friend is doing this. Why, instead of chastising him for a weakness he’s repeatedly lied about, he’s offering support. Why he’s sitting there, allowing him to sift in the screams of this spherical curse for as long as he needs.
“It gets worse every time,” he eventually tells him. Unable to hold back the way his voice breaks through each syllable. A sound that further paints just how weak he is at this moment as Gojo sighs.
“What does it taste like?”
“Death.”
“Death?”
He nods just as Gojo starts to look around, eventually producing a small grin that leaves Geto confused all over again, watching him reach out to touch his head again.
“Guess we’ll need to get you something sweeter then,” his friend suggests, and despite knowing that still probably won’t help, Geto merely nods again, feeling Gojo’s fingers ruffle roughly through his hair before he’s suddenly standing up and offering a hand Geto isn’t quite sure he deserves to hold.

And just as the sun always sets, the moon will always rise.

a collection of funny things that should have been in Supernatural because i said so;
At least three episodes of all the hunters that have the whole system with Sam at the bunker but it’s like a police show comedy [i’ve only seen like three total episodes of Brooklyn 99 and four seasons of Psych but i think it’d be great]
Dean gets to follow his dream (like what Michael trapped him in) and take after Ellen and the roadhouse, whether it be by using that giant ass bunker as a bar or he just buys one, or even builds one [with magic or his hands]
Hunter doctors- like official, legal doctors. basically so that way if anything possibly supernatural is going on- you can see a doctor who knows about that type of stuff and can hopefully help it [like a witches curse, or how Bobby Dean and Sam had the carvings on their ribs] and they don’t make you pay if your a hunter for obvious hunters-don’t-get-payed-reasons
and obviously garth and some other people starts a whole monster healing underground medical aid/er (also probably at the bunker or smth)
a section of the bunker turns into this child-teen room where anybody under like 20 goes and can stay permanently. so like if a parent was killed on a hunt, they show up and are taken care of, they can learn more stuff, practice, and maybe have a shot at a semi-normal, at least no hunting, life [Jody and Donna help out there a lot]
there’s also adult rooms, obviously, same gig
game night at the Dean-Cave, lots of tournaments and anger
movie nights [for any hunter that wants to come] with a huge projector screen that they bring out to the main area with the stairs and whatnot, they’ll move tables, build a whole ass fort and watch shit
jack defeats god but instead of him disappearing it’s a complex jack-sorta-splits-in-two thing where his current conscious still runs things as ‘god’ but the ‘other half’ is essentially him but physically and mentally a four year old (like completely- not what Jack had before as a mix of 4 years old and 20 years old, just pure 4 year old) and it’s pure chaos
dean tries to redo everything with Jack (because he was a dick majority of the time) and obviously Cas and Sam were alrwady Dad Material TM
Dean, Sam, Castiel, Jody, Donna, Eileen, Charlie [both worlds because she didn’t die in my mind] Kevin [also not dead] and some others will hold classes for different things
Dean: Cooking (and lots of fighting) Occasionally does cool ‘home-made’ things, like his EMF that was made out of a Walkman, stuff like that. Teaches Latin and the different warding stuff
Sam: Healthy balance in life- both mentally and food wise. Also teaches lore and how to defend yourself, but mainly tries to get people to know how to lead a normal life, to enjoy things. Also teachers Latin [and backwards exorcisms if you need the demon]
Castiel: Lots of fighting techniques, but he also does a lot of history [not hunter-history, just like. normal history, but parts that have never been recorded since he’s seen a looooot] Teaches about free will and choosing your own path- not one that you were raised into or something of the sort [like hunting] he’s one of those teachers who get way off topic and he starts talking about Dean and everything [the ‘students’ place bets on when he’ll confess]
Jody & Donna + The Kids: [Jody & Donna] Teach how to stay out of trouble, fighting methods, but mainly how to lead a good, death-less life and be happy. they also teach you about police-loopholes and such so if they do stick with hunting they don’t get thrown in jail and such. Teaches healing and first aid. [The Kids] teach, again, fighting techniques, tracking stuff, running away from stuff, lots of medical stuff, Patience and Kaia teach others how to control their ability’s [with Gabriel]
Eileen: Teaches ASL and teaches how to use your other senses if you couldn’t use one [or technically how to sorta focus and zone in on the other senses] Also lots of lore and fighting techniques.
Charlie: Teacher how to hack into ‘un-hackable’ things, create fake credit or debit cards, fake IDs, etc. She holds role play and games like DnD all the time
Kevin: Teaches confidence and such, how to not let people take advantage of you [cough cough Dean was not so nice to him whilst translating] How to stand up for yourself and not be a doormat. Also teaches school stuff if anybody was interested
Rowena: Witchcraft, obviously. She does a lot of the warding stuff than the others because she knows a lot more about everything. Occasionally teaches how to seduce your way into information (or magic
Gabriel: How to trick people and such into getting them to do what you want them to. Probably some tips on going underground/undercover. If a kid has powers he helps them entirely

Queer books, day 18/30
Tumblr media
Someone recently, in a review, compared my book (hint hint, click click) to these ones, so I figure I should review the Charm of Magpies series.
Where to begin? These three books came out around 2013, which in my mind is very, very recent and yet was ten years ago. At the time, not many people were writing M/M romance, and even fewer were writing historical urban fantasy romance--it seems like it was mostly Jordan L. Hawk. Then KJ Charles threw her hat into the ring with this trilogy.
These are set largely in London in the 1890s, although I don't think there's anything specifically that gives that date other than the amenities in the world, e.g. there's hot and cold running water in Crane's apartments, but at the same time there's not electricity and Crane travels with a valet. There's also magic, which--I'll get to in a second.
The story follows two men. Lord Crane is a very tall, blond man with a penchant for violence (or, arguably, a reputation for getting things done in the fastest and most straightforward way) who has spent most of his adult life in Shanghai. Stephen Day is short, redheaded, and magical. They initially meet because Crane has been cursed, and then continue on because Day wants to figure out who planted the curse. Eventually, they form a magical bond and fight some bad guys together. In book one, they unravel a curse placed on Crane's ancestral home. Book two involves giant rats--that is like the only thing in my notes, and honestly, do you need more of a plot than that? And book three has a lot of political machinations interspersed with occasional relationship discussions.
Some things the books do well: a novel magic system that isn't overly belabored, good chemistry between the lead characters, blood/sex magic, dark humor, cursing (the cursing is immense and delicious). A few things that troubled me: the relationship between normal people and magic users and the implications of keeping things secret isn't entirely worked out.
Key quote:
"You know...there are a number of recommended methods of dealing with ghosts--salt and iron, harmonic resonance, some people swear by exorcism, and not just priests--but that's the first time I've seen anyone try a left hook."
KJ Charles is a very good writer, and it is no wonder these books made the splash they did.
Warnings for: attempted suicide while under geas, a couple of really gross curse effects, and a little bit of period-typical homophobia. Still, I have to give these 10/10. Go read them.

bbg pls assign mitski songs to jjk characters (gojo, geto, nanami, yuji, megumi, nobara) 🫶🏻 and write 5 paragraphs explaining why
always. ur wish is my command. i say be the change u wish to see in the world and ur words are my change. and wish. i lost track of my metaphor. anyways see u on the other side.
dude i don't even wanna tag this anymore. this isn't even going in the masterlist. i'm tired
mitski songs and jjk characters
satoru gojo:
last wish of a shooting star
everyone knows gojo is your best american girl but that would be too easy wouldn't it be aaesuki. much too easy to say and analyze and you don't want easy from me. you want a challenge. i'll give you a challenge
to me gojo has always been a shooting star kind of existence, bright and brief and he orbits the lives of everyone who he does not touch and becomes something larger than life. this song in particular is a reflection before death and i'd like to think it's gojo before him and that box. you know
[i always wanted to die clean and pretty / but i'd be too busy on working days / so i am relieved that the turbulence wasn't forecasted / i couldn't have changed anyways] dude's the poster child of the jujutsu world of course he's always going this way and that doing whatever he needs to do. the only way he's gonna get a real break is thru getting put out of commission. aka the box.
suguru geto:
pearl diver
i was thinking about it and don't you think it kind of fits? pearl diver as a song about seeking something up until death. geto always having searched for a world that rewards the unfortunate jujutsu sorcerers and punishes those that beat them down, wanting for his own idea of justice. up until his death that is.
[the creatures of your woken mind / don't fear them or their hunger / forgive the sea, follow the tide / with the monsters on your shoulder] him and those mf curses. if you can't see it i fear there's nothing more i can say
[oh, hunter, if you didn't want / the beautiful so badly / perhaps you would've found it / in your spirit singing softly / but hunter, you were human / don't forget it and go safely] him wanting this perfect world SO badly deriding the humans and emphasizing the sorcerers when they're really the same thing in the end. humans and sorcerers. YOU were descended from monkeys idiot. instead he goes off on genocide quest
kento nanami:
working for the knife
dude this is my go to mitski jjk song. but specifically it fits nanami so well bc it's about working for the knife; the knife is a killing implement at times, a helpful tool otherwise, just like exorcism saves some lives and dooms the sorcerers to death
[i used to think i'd be done by twenty / now at twenty-nine the road ahead appears the same] he's been a jujutsu sorcerer through school and through adulthood, and even if he took a break to become a capitalist cog you don't ever stop being a jujutsu sorcerer
[i start the day lying and end with the truth / that i'm dying for the knife] you see?!?! you see?!?!? you see that aaesuki?!
yuuji itadori:
a burning hill
this one i can relate to both sukuna's possession of his body but also the impending execution he has to face. once you see it you'll see it.
[and i am the fire, and i am the forest / and i am a witness watching it / i stand in a valley watching it] him being the fire or the destructive force under the control of sukuna, him being the forest or the victim of those acts, and him being the witness or the possessed man with no choice but to let them happen.
[so today, i will wear my white button-down / i can at least be neat walk out and be seen as clean / and i'll go to work, and i'll go to sleep / and i'll love the littler things] this part being yuuji's reflection on his impending execution and having to live life as normal anyways. white button down and being neat could be what he wears to his execution, but it can also be his uniform as he goes to school (work) and ends his day (sleep) as normal, acting as if he won't be put to death once all the fingers are found. loving the littler things is him trying to enjoy his life to the fullest and making those dang friends before his inevitable execution
megumi fushiguro:
everyone
i think i hit a stroke of genius w this one. two specific lines rlly stand out to me as megumi-y but overall, the song being abt mitski and her music career harkens to megumi and the jujutsu world w me. in another world he would not have had to become a sorcerer, but in another another world he'd have grown up in the zenin clan. this song is about mitski's leap of faith and success in her music career but it's also about megumi going into a place of no return
[and i opened my arms wide to the dark / i said, "take it all, whatever you want" / i didn't know that i was young] the dark on the surface is his jujutsu technique w shadows and him giving himself to the technique, but it's also the jujutsu world and how he's been working for the knife (teehee) since young. boy never had a chance to be a child w daddy neglect and jujutsu sorcery and tsumiki. ya
[sometimes i think i am free / until i find i'm back in line again] this reminds me of the culling game arc and tsumiki. yeah. if you know you know
nobara kugisaki:
townie
honestly i can totally see this. nobara as a hotheaded teen who does exactly what she wants to, consequences be damned. in this song i see it as her willingness to follow her own path regardless of what the world tells her to, whether it be society or jujutsu higher ups.
[and i want a love that falls as fast / as a body from the balcony, and / i want to kiss like my heart is hitting the ground / i'm holding my breath with a baseball bat] this part in particular speaks to me as her willingness to engage in self destruction for her goals (her technique being something that often requires immolation of her own body) but also her aggressive nature. i still love you girl <3
[though i don't know what i'm waiting for / i am not gonna be what my daddy wants me to be] these lines being about how she doesn't care about conforming to or subverting societal expectations; rather, she is whatever she decides she'll be a la her conversation with the witch broom girl i forgot.

| Rc9gn AU : The Glow of Amber |
Hello everyone! I finally have some time to sit down and write about AU that’s been cooking in my mind for some time now. It’s a bit OC focused but I will walk you through it— Now, I invite you bellow : D
| Before we start |
I want to thank everyone for the engagement under my posts— I really appreciate all the love you’ve given to my drawings 🥹
I’ve created many stories before, but this is the first time I’m actually writing one down — I hope you can give me a chance 👉👈
I would kindly ask for not reposting my drawings or texts without crediting me ♥️
| What happened 800 years ago |
We should start with the past before we get to the present.
Our story begins with first Ninja. His life wasn’t easy— he learned how to hold the blade before he learned how to write. He and his clan fought with evil plaguing the land — Many have lost their lives, but the biggest tragedy was yet to come. They decided to rest in a small, mountainside city. It was a terrible choice.
That nigh, an enraged Tengu demon descended from its Mountain and rained fire on the town. In the morning, First Ninja was the only alive member of his clan.
Tumblr media
He swore to avenge his fallen brothers and sisters. He was determined to slay the beast.
Tumblr media
However, this duel almost became his last. The Tengu wounded him and threw him off the mountain peak.
He was sure that he was about to meet his end, but fortunately, someone had found him just in time.
Tumblr media
Once he woke up from his injuries, his savior presented herself to him as Lady of Amber — She didn’t save him out of pity — But just so he would be able to apologize for making a mess on her sacred ground. Yet, there was something that made her curious about him. She couldn’t understand why he would fight with a Tengu demon—he was armed only with a sword and determination— what was the outcome that he expected?
While it was hard for her to understand this peculiar human — She decided to lend a hand.
Tumblr media
They’ve faced the demon together— but this time Ninja had a plan, and a secret weapon.
Just before they ventured up the mountain, the Lady created an amber stone so perfect, and so powerful, that it was capable of trapping a spirit of a demon inside— and ninja enhanced his suit with some of the Tengu feathers that he happened to get from the first battle.
Tengu still had to be defeated, and that part of the job lied in Ninja’s hands
Tumblr media
That day, the Tengu was killed, and his spirit was imprisoned inside the stone — Which gained the name “Eye of eternity”
It was hard for them to decide what to do next. But there was one thing they could agree on — The land needed a hero, and soon more evil would emerge.
The ninja suit was crafted and the stone secured— it was time to train and prepare for another battles.
Tumblr media
Following the death of the Tengu — many other powerful spirits emerged from the shadows to avenge their fallen friend. Everything wanted the Ninja dead
Tumblr media
Eventually a peace was achieved. The spirits were defeated, and Sorcerer was sealed away by the magic of the sacred stone — Though Amber lady stood by Ninja’s side during every battle— He couldn’t find her after their final battle together. Her fate is unknown.
| Silence before the storm |
Tumblr media
Thought the fate of the Amber lady is unknown— Before she disappeared, she and first ninja managed to start a family. They were blessed (or cursed) with twins. A girl, whom they named Eiko, and a boy, Nomi (I apologize for lack of creativity, but I don’t want to make it more confusing by coming up with a new name for him)
Tumblr media
They grew and did everything together — But eventually they’ve went their own ways— Nomi stayed with their father— he dedicated himself to writing down the ninja history and details about the ninja arts. He also became the master of the sword, he could replicate almost every move of his father.
Eiko on the other hand, traveled across the land, mastering the art of exorcism, learning from the spirits, and climbing the ranks until she reached the title of the best exorcist in the land.
The time for first ninja to step down finally came. He entrusted Nomi with the task of choosing the next ninja.
Not only was he tasked, he was also warned — That he shouldn’t, under any circumstances, be the next one to wear the mask.
Nomi was a good son. He always listened to his father’s request— but this one — He was sure that he would bring his father honor if he took his place. After he put the mask on — It took control over him and forced him to go on a rampage
Why? The material from which the suit was crafted —Before the tengu took his final breath, he cursed his feathers so that First Ninja's bloodline couldn't have all this power to themselves
Tumblr media
Eiko was called to town to get rid of the rampaging beast— She didn’t know who she was fighting— Until she struck the final blow— She gazed in horror at the body of her dear brother— Wishing to save him, she sealed his soul in the book he wrote— The ninja Nomicon — This was the day that tome became magical
She saved the village and it’s people but the act of killing her own brother angered the gods she worked so closely with — They cursed her to suffer the eternal life until the Nomicon was destroyed or until the Heavenly forgave her sin.
Tumblr media
Eiko travells the land, choosing the next Ninja and protecting the book in which her brother now resides. | The Present aka The season 3 |
The sacred stone went through a lot throughout the years — and finally, it reached its breaking point and snapped in half, loosing all its magical properties— The Tengu was given freedom again, but this time he chose not to possess any of the Ninja’s friends— Instead he flew high, away from the city, with a goal of recovering his past strength.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s summer vacation, and the last thing Randy wants to think about is upcoming doom.
The Nomicon is clueless on what to do about the broken sacred stone. Even Eiko was shocked by the situation. She doesn’t have any powers that would make stone magical again— For her it looked like a case of severely broken wine glass — you can fix it, but there’s no way it would ever hold wine again.
A new stone or other seal must be made— and it has to be done fast — With a Tengu roaming free, other formidable spirits might join him— if something isn’t done about this situation, the Norrisville might face a very possible destruction.
Eiko decides that all of them must go to the Old Norrisville, a very traditional, and a very old town located few miles outside the main city. There’s a chance that this ancient city might hold answers to their present problems.

How To Tame A Sorcerer (22)
Tumblr media
Mahito slinks around the corner. Under the moonlight, his pale skin shines, a stark contrast to the dark alley. It is not like Jogo to hide away in the shadows, Mahito thinks, not with that oversized ego of his. Huh? He squints his gray and blue eyes. Moves closer. Perhaps he should change into something smaller? He isn't quite sure that he can do that, but it would be helpful if he could.
The person–a human? Why would Jogo out of all of them be dealing with a human that is not Geto? Ah, this person is a woman, he surmises, though he did not believe that it was in a curses' nature to be partial. Mind games were more of his thing.
"This will have to suffice you for now," the woman says, her voice airy, without any regard to her wellbeing.
A curse user then? The dark-haired woman is far too relaxed, or maybe she is just that stupid. Humans tend to think of themselves as better, smarter than they actually are. The woman deposits a bag into Jogo's awaiting palms. He can make out some type of plant in the bag. Jogo must not want Hanami to know that he has no regard for plant life.
"This will barely do the trick! How am I supposed to–" Jogo splutters. His hands grip the woman's arm as the bag falls down near his feet.
Mahito scrunches up his nose. Decisions, decisions, decisions. Should he step in and help? It is Jogo's own fault for reacting so rashly, honestly; he thought the curse would have learned something after rushing in to fight Gojo Satoru. But if this curse user exorcizes him, then it could affect their plans.
"Watch your tone, vermin," the woman says, lifting Jogo up with ease and pulling him in closer to her. "Does it bother you to know how easily I can crush you? So pathetic." She drops him, dusts her hands.
"Fucking bitch," Jogo says, coughing. He struggles to his feet, grabbing the bag as he stands.
There's a rise in temperature, the heat just as visible as Jogo's anger. Mahito smiles as the sound of screams reach his ears. The people walking by get caught up in the heat. He resists the urge to look back and watch their bodies burn. He probably should step in to help.
"Jogo-kun, why are you always picking fights?" Mahito asks, stepping out from the shadows. He delights in the annoyance that marks the woman's face. Her eyes are as red as blood, he thinks, fitting for how much of it he plans on spilling. "Such a hothead."
"What are you doing here?" Jogo asks. Fire leaks out of the top of his head.
"You curses are so annoying," the woman says, "I'll just end both of you." She raises a hand. Yellow shards burst out of her palms.
What an interesting technique, Mahito thinks as he jumps to the side, and then dashes towards hers. As much as he likes to play with his toys, he really has other things to do. Geto promised to pick up a new board game. A wide smile spreads across his face as he grabs the woman's arm.
"Such insolence," she mutters, as her other hand raises and claws his face.
Claws? Mahito winces, steps back, but keeps his hand attached to her arm. "You actually managed to hurt me. My, what a strong human, you've found." The marks on his face stings, the fact that she was able to hurt him, gives him pause. "Do you like board games?"
"Do I what?" She narrows those blood-red eyes at him. Her lips are drawn into a frown.
"We could play forever," he says. He can tell the exact moment that his idle transfiguration starts to work. She screams and tries to pull her arm back while her other arm rears back to repeatedly claw at his face.
"No!" Jogo cries out.
Huh? Mahito turns his head to look back at Jogo. The woman's body gives out and transforms into a neat little square. He clasps his hands around his newly made board. "What's your deal?" When Jogo does not respond, he continues, "Say, what kind of game do you think she should be? Should probably get some markers to draw in the boxes, and some dice too. Oh, we'll need figures so we know who is who." He holds out the board, tilts his head. "Let's stop at a game shop on the way back. I'm sure one of the associates would love to contribute."
"Change her back."
"Is she important? She threatened to kill you." Mahito lowers the board. "What's so special about a human? There's plenty of them around."
"She isn't human."
"Then what is she?" He lets out an embarrassing yelp at the blue flames engulfing his hand and his newly made board. He drops the board and pats his arm. The alley lights up in a blue hue. The smell of burning flesh hits his nose. How does Jogo deal with such an awful smell all the time? Oh, that's right, he doesn't have a nose. Mahito laughs, ignoring the confusion Jogo directs his way. No wonder Jogo is always so hot-headed.
"I said to change her back, not kill her." Jogo walks over to him and kicks at the burned board.
"I guess her body just gave out." He shrugs. Why should he be concerned about some human's life?
"She was only a half-breed."
"Half-breed? She looked fully Japanese to me."
"I forget how young you are."
The board shakes and twists. Limbs stretch out as it elongates. Mahito bends down and stares. How interesting that in death, she was able to turn back. He wonders just how far can he push the human body? Was he too sloppy, or was she really just that weak? The stash of configured humans in his pockets reminds him that, no, his technique is not sloppy. What he needs is another sorcerer or curse user to test out his theory.
"Let's go, we don't need any more of her kind showing up." Jogo turns and walks away, puffs of smoke blow from his head.
Honestly, why is he so upset over a human? Mahito rises and moves to follow. A hand grabs his ankle. Searing pain courses through his veins. He grits his teeth and looks back down, tugging his foot free. The woman looks at him, her once pale skin now the color of ash.
"You've been marked," she whispers, her eyes shutting once more.
"Hurry and get rid of that mark," Jogo says, hobbling back over to him. His eye is wide with traces of fear.
Mahito looks at the X that has been etched into his skin. X marks the spot, he thinks, silently laughing at his own joke.
"Get rid of it!"
"Jogo-kun, this is why you don't have friends. You should work on that temper," Mahito chastises. He bends down and digs into the flesh of his ankle and tosses the marked skin onto the pavement. "What's the big deal, anyway?"
Jogo picks up the discarded skin and burns it. "We can't draw too much attention to us. At least not until Geto's plan goes into effect."
"I fail to see how these humans can stop us. Except for Gojo Satoru, everyone else is weak."
"It's not the humans that I'm concerned about."
Not the humans? Mahito looks back at the dead woman. She looks pretty human to him. She certainly died like one.
"Let's go. They'll come looking for her. They have some weird sense of knowing when one of them has died." Jogo motions for him to follow.
"Actually, I've got some other things to take care of," Mahito says, "I want to do some more research." He walks past Jogo. The scratches on his face have yet to heal, and it is just a teensy bit annoying.
"Mahito," Jogo calls out, "this stays between us."
Mahito turns and regards his fellow curse. There is a seriousness in Jogo's eye that he's never encountered before. He smiles, showing off his teeth. "Of course. I won't let it slip how you have a drug problem."
Jogo splutters and folds his arms. "Thank you." He walks out of the alley, leaving Mahito behind.
Mahito glances back at the burned body. He whistles a soft melody he overheard at a coffee shop. He thinks he'll set up a trap and test out his theory on one of the sorcerers.
