ID: three drawings showing a sequence of sokka and zuko from avatar the last air bender. Aged up rather soon after war. sokka is leaning over zuko, you see them mainly on the left side waist up. The background is kept plain withe. On the left side the artist signature "chiptrillino . 2023" on the right side isthe request to "please don't repost"
The first drawing shows sokka looking down with slightly zoned out expression. zukos hands are reaching up.
The second image shows sokkas surprised face held between zukos hands, who raised up his face inches away from sokkas.
The third images shows sokka leaning into zuko. Both of them kissing. zuko holds on to sokkas shoulder and neck. Both look happy. End ID
Small shoutout to that person that tagged, once upon a time (last year), the sketch with "mermaid zukka". And would you look at that! Its meremay! And this is not really mermaid themed, but... it remained me to finish it! -sweats-
oh shoot! also happy zukka week! i guess whops...
---- if you want to deal with all my reblogs may I direct your attention to my side only my artworks blog?

I’m imagining RWBY fans who have seen Jessie James Grelle’s Tweet about looking forward to returning to RWBY to play Tyrian Callows after she quit Rooster Teeth for how she was treated, and are confused as to why Kdin Jenzen hasn’t said anything about returning as May Marigold.
Let me clear up the confusion.
Grelle and Jenzen each have their own specifics about how they feel about returning.
Grelle said, “I refuse to work for a company that thinks belittling queer people is funny,” so, now that RWBY is owned by VIZ Media, this is no longer the case, and she has decided to come back to voice Tyrian.
Jenzen said, “I am never associating myself with Rooster Teeth or their productions ever again,” so, even though RWBY is now owned by VIZ Media, it’s still a Rooster Teeth Production, which she has declared is off-limits to her, so May needs a new voice actor.

did your transformation into big boob kdin feel more like a digi-evolution or a pokemon evolution?
I mean I assume this is supposed to be a silly question with a silly answer but I want to answer it seriously for all the other trans women out there.
It wasn’t a transformation or evolution or anything, it was just super normal.
It was steady chest growth over a period of years. I took care of myself and did my best to take care of my body, heart, and mind. And eventually I got the chest I got.
Like I know a lot of girls want the magical “bippity boppity BOOBS” to just happen one day at full size but honestly like… it felt good to give myself time, allow HRT to do its thing, and learn and grow with my body as needed.

the more i keep developing my own stories, the more rwby starts to get this first draft feel to it to me.
sometimes it's (seemingly) small, inconsequential things like sun's eyes changing color for no reason, or mercury's eyes getting significantly lighter. sometimes it's being told one thing only for later for it to be revealed to be something else (e.g. cinder's semblance). sometimes it's characters and concepts being added in midway for one reason or another (neo, the maidens).
like. i have this very vivid memory of watching a livestream of stay zen, and erin winn being surprised over learning that lil' miss malachite is the mother of melanie and miltia from kdin, implying that had she known, her design might have reflected that a little bit more, which just gives this image of it being a last minute addition for reasons xyz.
and it does have its charm to it, being on the same ride and watching how it all develops, the joy and earnestness coming through when they're writing about something they're really excited about...
but it can also be a little frustrating if you're super detail-oriented person who needs to nail everything in place before any writing gets done lol and it's not even like, the "random" changes are automatically a Bad Thing; using cinder's semblance as an example, i'm so for what scorching caress is and what it says about cinder as a character, but what they said it was at first—dust manipulation (no, not The Dust, just regular dust)—also has a lot of potential and says quite a bit about cinder, especially how she used it, i.e. refining it with fire dust to make the lowly dirt into something fancy like glass.
idk. just something i've been thinking for a while now; the joys of creating, or something like that.

This is my RWBY Hot Take:
BB ended up being canon because of fandom and VAs pushing for it. Which, is not necessarilly a bad thing, but it is when you can ACTUALLY tell. And I think that´s the problem.
Now, RWBY has always been on the sights of Yuri and Queer fandom, which are a both a force to be reckoned with whenever people want to admit it or not. This shouldn´t be surprising considering that they showcased not one, not two, not three, but FOUR main characters with very unique desing, appeal and personality. OF COURSE the show was gonna attract lesbian women like honey attracts flies XD
At the same time however, RWBY kinda wanted to fall into very classic old tropes of anime, hence why even 10 years later Ruby has still to show attraction to somebody, like a proper shounen jump character, with some twists every now and then. Which is why you can´t convince me that Sun wasn´t put there to be Blake´s love interest, but the fandom had already taken into the main characters hooking p between them and just wouldn´t move from there.
Proof of that is that even after 10 years of absolute 0 development, White Rose is still one of the biggest ships out there, receiving new art almost daily by, you guessed, lot of tumblr queer (which seems to be in abundance, maybe there´s a correlation? Beats me). Now, this isn´t me throwing shade over WR, they DID have some very good base and chemistry, but people rationalizing that Weiss MUST be bi or even yet, a Compulsory Het (despite absolute 0 evidence that´s even a thing in Remant) just doesn´t paint a very positive figure of the fandom.
What I´m trying to say with this? Well, if a fandom can be THAT obssesed with queer characters (Ask CanonSeeker about it if you don´t believe me) and attract an audience who clearly has an obsession with them either because they just want to see girls kissing (lot of pervs around, the NSFW reddit sub has MORE subs than the main one :/ ) or because they want to see their representation/projection/whatever and see absolute no issue with the crumbs and the bad things RT did some of its queer workers (like Kdin)... who is there not to say that this couple, (or any other even!) is not fanservice?
People want to see what they want to see, and will resort to all kind of emotional pitfalls to rationalize their preference or how "it was always meant to be".
No, having a base as friends is not enough. Yes Nora, people can be friends, and sometimes it´s better if they remain that way, as you have discovered. You can´t have a character show attraction that is slowly being reciporcated for seven years only to drop itone day and say "nah, it was never about it" and pretend the fandom who is not just looking for validation and seeing hot girls make out bdon´t end up scratching their heads in confusion. That´s just now how it works. SPECIALLY when lot of people were dropping after the disaster that was Vol.5
Which is another reason that it feels like the writers just caved:
They realised they were not going anywhere with BlackSun and with the WF, so they just removed it out of the equation and pretend it never existed. They needed to keep their fans interested, and while at it, some Rainbow Capitalism to get some more attention. People called it forced because morons are "ugh, lesbians!" (Not forgetting that some people on both sides of the equation just can´t get that Bi people exist) while the reason can be simply that RT can´t write romance for shit, and the relationship feels more like they just wanted to speedrun to make up for 6 seasons where they still had plausible deniability (forgetting that they just put that line on the sky dropping Sun...) while at the same time not outright confirming until the last minute.
So, the whole point of this rant is: BB is fanservice? Yes.
But it´s the BAD fanservice. The kind of you can TELL they are caving to the fandom for attention, and doing so in a kind of unnatural way, that they try too hard to give crumsb ("Yeah... Ruby.") and have to confess in a magical plot device that feels like taken out of a fanfic, so instead of "this is the natural progression our characters took" feels more like "Yaaaaaaas, we gave the fanatics what they wanted, aren´t we great!? Another "cultural" victory, yay, so now give us the money so we can greenlight Vol 10!"
So, TL:DR - If you are going to give fanservice, try at least to make it FEEL natural, or don´t give it at all. If you ar unsure, get a good producer, a guy whose sole job is to say NO.
This time I think I’m just going to primarily be the bridge that allows people see and respond to this with their own opinions cause if I’m being honest, it feels like you got into the weeds a little and I couldn’t follow. Please be civil in comments.
As for my personal opinions about BB in general i will reiterate what I’ve thought for the past few years now. The ship itself is fine but any cultural impact it would’ve had was lost when you wait so long that Disney beat you to showing a lgbt kiss scene. I think RT did course correction when seeing its popularity which isn’t in itself bad at all, but they just sucked at it.
The two roads people have to walk is thinking BB was planned from the start or added later due to popularity. If you think the first one, then face the fact RT handled it very poorly and unnecessarily made things messy by adding Sun. If you believe the second then don’t be delusional if someone has the opinion it made certain narrative choices messier or that once again, Sun was written as a potential love interest.
I like BB but RT made some questionable choices that wouldn’t say hurt Blake and Yang’s character, but hindered scenes because they dragged it out too long. Also hate to say it but 95% of their relationship healing, comfor, angst, etc. was built off of Adam. So when ya kill Adam… the thing that made the dynamic interesting is gone. That’s not a problem if he died at the end of the show, like most characters do with the trope.
But I will say I do respect the fact they didn’t immediately date after murdering him because that just doesn’t look good on any level. However, Atlas had a time skip. As much as I love Ren and Nora, maybe we should’ve gone to the dance club and do the kiss there before Atlas went to hell? Then we could have a nuanced discussion about if the two of them telling Robyn without consulting anyone was okay.

This whole "crwby" shit really is a double edged sword.
Yeah, from the perspective of a capitalist Corp who only cares about lining their pockets, there's a benefit. Fans will support Ruwuby in the name of supporting "Crwby" when crwby is just a subsection of RT. Supporting "crwby" is supporting RT.
"The animation dept brings in 60% of the revenue or more."
Crwby is part of Roosterteeth's animation dept. Rwby is their biggest title. That 60% of their total revenue is very likely coming from Rwby exclusively.
Crwby is a vague enigma. What or who "crwby" is differs from person to person (or Stan to critic). That can work to Roosterteeth's favour as mentioned above but like I said, it's a double edged sword. You can't transfer Rwby's success anywhere else. They tried with Genlock and it flopped. Hard. Roosterteeth doesn't have the star power they once had. And though they cultivated a passionate fan base that will defend them tooth and nail ( in the guise of supporting crwby) those fans only care about rwby. They have dedicated so much of themselves, so much of their money and time into rwby, some new shiny rwby-clone isn't going to garner that same response and dedication.
Crwby is no Hideo Kojima. Tetsuya Nomura can leave Square Enix and do his own shit and people will flock to check it out. When you think of Kingdom Hearts, you think of Tetsuya Nomura. You think Metal Gear Solid, you think Hideo Kojima. You think Ghibli, you think Hayao Miyazaki. Final Fantasy XIIII fans are gonna check out Final Fantasy XVI cause Yoshi-P was director of both those games. The appeal of Final Fantasy XV was that Nomura was the director. Do you see what I'm getting at?
When you of rwby, you think of Monty, but unfortunately, he's no longer here with us to helm the franchise. Realistically, it should be Kerry but the guy is so...bland (?) and uninspired. Miles is more and less distancing himself from the franchise. The next best thing is crwby, an undefined, ever-changing group of people who work on the show.
How is crwby, this enigma supposed to take rwby back from the evil, big bad Roosterteeth? Kerry and Miles, the closest to a figurehead for rwby, and were there for rwby conceptualisation, are burnt out on rwby. Miles relinquished all responsibility he had. Kerry, just, I don't think he wants to be showrunner anymore, nor enjoys the responsibility he has as writer, producer and director.
Rwby fans are not Miles Luna fans. They are not Kerry fans, Eddy fans, Barbara fans etc etc. They got into Rwby because of the initial appeal of the premise, strong art direction, and fight choreography, but they stayed because Rwby ultimately fuels fandom. There is no passion (from higher up), just pandering to the largest demographic.
Tdlr, because I forgot where I was going with this rant; Roosterteeth is fucked because they can't pivot the success of Rwby towards anything else because their fanbase is obessed with Rwby. Miles, Kerry, Barbara and anyone considered part of "crwby" is fucked because the stans only like rwby because their fanfics are treated as canon and the parasocial relationship they have with the team behind the franchise. They need Rwby, not the other way around. They might be kekeing and enjoying the clout for now but eventually the stans (again, who arent their fans and the extent they care about them doesn't go beyond their involvement with rwby. Case and point - Kdin and everyone else part of crwby or not who spoke out against RT ) are gonna get annoying real quick.

...someone doesn't like roosterteeth
Brother Man....
I need you to come real close. Like Real close.
For Years Rooster Teeth has been doing a lot of horrendous shit behind the scenes. Ranging from Homophobia, Sexual Assault , abuse on employees and animators, Transphobia, underpaid workers.
And when Kdin Jenzen dropped that nuke I knew it was... OVER.
So yes I'm hitting the RT Pack. HARD.

Critter decided to "try something new" (i.e. get people to pay attention to her) by reviewing a different RWBY episode every day this month, starting with the pilot episode back on October 1st. Her review of V2's dance episode has convinced me that she's deranged. Namely, she and many of her followers (such as UoW/Thomas's new boyfriend Maxwell) honestly believe that Jaune wearing a dress to the Beacon dance was "transphobic" instead of the expression of Jaune's loyalty to his team that it was clearly framed as. First of all, Monty came up with that idea, and he worked very closely with Kdin Jenzen, who is trans (are you implying that Monty was transphobic, Critter? Because it sure looks that way). And second, dresses actually used to be a unisex clothing item (for instance, president FDR used to wear one when he was a child). I really hope that she and her followers find something new to attack once RWBY's over, otherwise they'll have no future as content creators.
A. We have no idea how RT was during Monty's time or even that much about Monty himself. We can't assume.
B. Dresses are commonly seen as female gendered clothing, there's nothing to indicate that Jaune's dress is unisex.
C. You don't need to bring that up.
The joke as Critter presents it 'Jaune is wearing women's clothes therefore funny'.
Where in the joke does it target Trans people? Because being trans is a LOT deeper than wanting to wear opposite gender clothes. Critter arguing that the joke is transphobic despite Jaune CLEARLY being a man and seeing himself as such implies Critter thinks that Crossdressers and Trans people are interchangeable.
Which is loads more transphobic. To the point of it being a long running negative stereotype.
Maybe actually THINK next time, Critter. Oh wait, you're a RWBY critic. Thinking to yourself like sunlight to a vampire.

Oh Dex, you don't get to pull the "I can't be bigoted, stalking, violent trash because I'm more leftist than you are" card.
I'm trans and an ancom and it's no secret that a lot of "ex" gg-ers tried to re-invent themselves.
Funny how it never works for long.
No one outside your diminishing echo chamber believes a word you say.
Actually, that is just wrong. Me being leftist has nothing to do with me not being bigoted. Im simply... Not bigoted. The reason why i point out my leftist "credentials" is to prove through my ACTIONS why you people are fake progressives.
You gave me labels. You are trans and an ancom. Okay. Why should i care? I dont care about your labels (I stopped caring about them during the invasion of Ukraine when people started using the "pacifist" and "anti-imperialist" labels to argue for Russian occupation of Ukraine). I care about actions.
So, let us all recall what YOU anti-RWDE people have done with your actions.
1 - During the RT controversies many of your people came in DEFENCE of RT, people like Lilith Fairen cursed out and attacked people on twitter for criticizing RT and afterwards your anti-RWDE crowd spread Kdins past shitty behaviour. Pointing out her past behaviour is not a problem. But you did so to protect a bigoted company.
2 - Your anti-RWDE crowd has called for people to support RT financially through merch and other such avenues. Showing that you care more for your show and a corporation than its workers.
3 - Multiple anti-RWDE people have been caught using slurs, people like Lilith using ethnic slurs while some of your other people have been caight using the word "ret*rd". One of your people, Darious uses an alt account to spread islamophobic and racist shit to Adel Aka and Vexed Viewer. I dont like their content. But the racist attacks on them come from YOUR crowd
4 - Multiple of your people have been caught faking accusations about others. Canonseeker, a person your anti-RWDE crowd is friendly with for example took issue with me slagging of NAZIS on twitter. Pretending that they were "RWBY fans". I dont know why he stated that Nazis were RWBY fans but you should ask him that.
5- Your anti-RWDE crowd constantly use language or tactics associated with the alt-right. Lilith Fairen often weaponizes an alt right tactic when people call out racism/sexism, to them accuse the accusers of these things. Some of your people freely use the word "degener*te" which is HEAVILY associated with far right ideologies.
6 - Most of your biggest attacks have been against people of colour and sexual minorities. You dont go after chuds. Your MAIN targets are specifically women, people of colour, and those of non-straight sexualities. And that is no coincidence. Hell, quite recently one of your leaders, Lilith straight up made an entire paragraph which just reeked of white saviour syndrome.
7 - It is only from YOUR anti-RWDE crowd that i have gotten shit for supporting Ukraine in their defence against a Russian invasion. No single critic of RWBY has EVER given me shit for that. Only RWBY fans. Why is that?
Need i go on? The reason why i call you fake progressives is not due to the labels you hold. But due to your behaviour. The BEST you can levy in accusations against RWDE people is making shit up.
Xel Writer/Zam/Xelianthought for example is hanging around twitter claiming that the Canonseeker expose document was made with the help of Kiwifarms knowing that its a lie. He wanted to get my Reddit account deleted through false accusations that Lilith wanted to get onto too. Your friend canonseeker is coming up with real life fanfiction about me "controling" RWBY youtubers and r/RWBY mods.
The best you can do are either lies or shouting "YOU ARE SEXIST/RACIST/HOMOPHOBE" with absolutely no proof.
While your, anti-RWDE behaviour has been recorded to be fucking horrible. And none of you ever apologized or even acknowledged the things you have done. None of you have acknowledged or apologized for using slurs. None of you have apologized for defending RT.
You doubled down on that shit.
Also, if you dont care what we say. Why in the fuck do you keep hounding us? Why do i receive nearly daily asks of harassment? Why do you keep talking about us? If nobody believes us or listens to us. Why do you care?
See? Your attacks are so transparent its funny to me. Because in your whole "Nobody cares about you spiel" you reveal just how much of a pain we are to you people. Good.

I NEED to know what Cam and Marcus sound like 😭 (please and thank you! 😊)
Cam sounds rather like Kdin Jenzen in the role of Shion Zaiden (the character with the white hair and floppy brimmed hat). Timestamp 9:00 for a good listen :)
youtube
Marcus sounds like Mike Colter (specifically in his role as David Acosta in the show Evil, but it was hard to find good clips from that)

So Kdin's trauma from CRWBY and Rooster Teeth's transphobia means nothing because you don't want to admit that some people in RWDE could have a point?
https://twitter.com/Lucifurio/status/1581472152418545664/photo/1
Is this acceptable behaviour towards the trans VA of the only confirmed trans character on the show? Or will it be ignored because RWBY is so precious and needs to be protected from the mean faggots?
i actually scrolled through Kdin Jenzen's twitter to find this but couldn't, but yeah, this is a shakily sourced tweet but you're also not a redeemable community considering how filled your community is with 4channers, kiwifarms-likes and just garden variety misogynists
rooster teeth obviously isn't a great company but that doesn't make your community any better

And They Were Roommates (ao3) - josephines-journal (adoredamianos), Notanotherpeggycarterblog peggy/steve T, 2k
Summary: Follow three WW2 veterans as they try to get used to the future. They may look young, but they act far from it.
Fuddy Duddy (ao3) - FestiveFerret steve/tony E, 3k
Summary: The only thing Tony hates more than being a third wheel is being a fourth wheel, when the third wheel he's stuck with is someone as boring and uptight as Steve Rogers.
If I Had One Wish (ao3) - AngeNoir bucky/tony, bucky/steve/tony E, 4k
Summary: Steve knows it's out of left field, but he's pathetically grateful that neither Bucky nor Tony question when he asks for a date with the two of them. It turns to something more, and Steve leaves in the morning... knowing he'll never make it back.
Strangely, he's okay with it.
I've heard this joke before (ao3) - rotg5311 sam/bucky T, 1k
Summary: Steve accidentally finds out his two best friends are dating.
Leg Day (ao3) - Brokenpitchpipe steve/bucky E, 12k
Summary: “So talk to him,” Sam says.
“I can’t,” Bucky groans. “I can’t, Sam, I. He just.” He fluffs his hair up and stares at Sam, distraught. “I want him to bench press me.”
“Okay, so it’s serious,” Sam interprets. “Got it."
(Or: The one where Sam is Bucky's long-suffering roommate, Bucky is a hot mess of a millennial, and Hot Steve spends far too much time on the Lat Pull-Down machine.)
One More Slice of Apple Pie (ao3) - Kdin steve/bucky G, 3k
Summary: Written for this prompt: Stucky high school!au where Tony just got kicked out of private school for making a teachers look stupid because he knew more.
Tony Stark hates to be a third wheel and Steve and Bucky are a corny couple.
Seasons in the Sun (ao3) - hubluhbluhbluhbleh bucky/wanda M, 35k

The More The Merrier (ao3) - TallGlass sam/bucky E, 2k (WIP)
Summary: Some milestones in Sam and Bucky's relationship.
The More They Stay the Same (ao3) - Carsonian steve/tony G, 1k
Summary: Bucky was meant to take Tony back to the station twenty-five minutes back.
(A.K.A. Medieval-cyberpunk fusion AU where Tony is a prince, Steve is a gang leader, and they're dating.)
Third Wheel (ao3) - copperbadge bucky/natasha, bucky/steve/natasha T, 1k
Summary: Steve is obsessed with Bucky and Natasha's relationship. Bucky's gonna find Steve his own date if it kills him. Natasha thinks Bucky is perhaps overlooking the obvious.
Third Wheel or 20 Dates (ao3) - akeisnotpie clint/steve E, 9k
Summary: Steve and Clint are the third wheels around the tower. Basketball, classic movies, plays, and late night workouts ensue. Turns out, they may have been dating the whole time.
Third Wheel's a Charm(er) (ao3) - NarutoRox tony/bucky, peggy/steve T, 2k
Summary: “So,” Steve said with very forced casualness as he straightened his shirt in the mirror. “Peggy’s bringing a friend.”
Bucky groaned. “Not this again, Stevie. I don’t need you setting me up on pity dates.”
“That’s funny, because I distinctly remember somebody telling me that there was no pity in setting up a friend.” Steve said, smiling in faux-innocence.
And that right there was the heart of Bucky's problem. Because he really couldn’t complain about Steve trying to set him up when he’d spent years doing the same thing, not without sounding like a hypocrite.
Which was probably why Steve was taking such perverse pleasure in this. His first, smug words to Bucky after meeting Peggy had been “Well, maybe she has a friend,” after all.
He’d never thought all those times he’d pestered Steve into going on those double-dates would come back to bite him on the ass.
You Killed A Cockatoo?! (ao3) - ajay_lotte karen/claire T, 4k
Summary: In which the Iron Man suit malfunctioned, Matt has no clothes, and Karen and Claire are dedicatedly out to get him.

Went ahead and, in-between VO auditions, recorded a take on Anton Ego's Review from the end of Ratatouille.
In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designa it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends. Last night, I experienced something new, an extra-ordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for Chef Gusteau's famous motto: 'Anyone can cook.' But I realize, only now do I truly understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Gusteau's, who is, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest chef in France. I will be returning to Gusteau's soon, hungry for more.

I'm not going to say much specifically around the recent allegations surrounding Rooster Teeth, especially what Kdin has said, because I don't think it's my place as a cis person to get up on my high horse and speak for trans people when there are so many more important voices chiming up in this conversation, but I will speak on how this has affected me as a previous RT fan and say that this has been the last straw for me.
I've not consumed a lot of RT content in the last couple years anyway for a multitude of reasons- some of the rumors I heard around how the animation teams in particular were being treated definitely left a sour taste in my mouth- and this recent stuff has pushed the ship headlong into the proverbial iceberg, as it were. And yeah, it fucking sucks. I started watching RT in 2013, I was a first member, I met Gus in 2014, I have multiple pieces of merch etc. They were, for quite some time, a large part of my life, and I definitely felt a sense of community from being a part of that, for a while. And then... something changed. And while I tried to keep up (albeit fueled by a desperate and unhealthy need to keep holding onto something, anything, that reminded me of or linked me to someone who at that stage was no longer in my life in much of any capacity), I think I knew realistically that something just wasn't right anymore. And now I know that my gut instincts were correct. And I'll probably be parting with my old merch shirts and unfollowing a large portion of the staff on social media (I've already started unfollowing company pages as they've popped up). It's going to feel weird, for a while, but fuck it, I'm so sick of hearing about how certain groups of people, minority groups especially, are treated like garbage, either directly by their coworkers or by the community, and no amount of apologies is going to rectify it, because this just proves that past apologies for similar stuff meant jack shit and they don't care.

I don't need to do any of that shit. You're a yapper, you yap, and that's why you trawl rwde blogs looking for a reason to open your mouth. Everyone is well aware of who you are at this point.
A simple look at the twitter of anyone who piped up during Kdin Jenzen's exposure of Rooster Teeth is more than enough to put that "CRWBY were never involved" nonsense to bed. You already know this. Hell, Barbara has been namedropped several times already.
I'm also not obligated to be on this blog or respond to my own posts within certain timeframes to please you, because I'm employed. If you can't relate, that's a you problem.
You knew when you first responded to the original post that nothing you were actually saying was based in fact, you just hate anyone who doesn't kiss your favorite show's ass. To you, a person tweeting "RWBY's future is bright!" is more impactful proof than demonstrable evidence that this really isn't the case.
Being the second coming of Korn on the Kob isn't something you should aspire to.
Why RWBY can't come back
The last news we got of RWBY was all the way back in July, when it was acquired by VIZ Media.
This much serves as a hard letdown for anyone who was hoping Dillon Goo and his studio could acquire the property, as VIZ Media is owned by freaking Shueisha, aka the guys who run Shonen Jump. It is unlikely to be sold back to a smaller studio.
VIZ Media buying it was a baffling choice to begin with, as RWBY isn't nearly as eternally-profitable as some of the other ventures it's been focusing on, such as Bleach and animating its Thousand Year Blood War arc. I suppose RWBY doesn't make for an ill fit when considering that it can simply languish on a shelf generating endless merch sales at a slow but steady pace over the years--VIZ Media is in charge of many, many series, and all of its biggest properties are surrounded by a haze of particle-sized smaller properties whose only real purpose is to add to the cumulative money flow in towards the studio.
But it does mean that Volume 10 of RWBY, in sharp contrast to what diehards crowed about when the acquisition was announced, is almost certainly not coming. VIZ Media's main practice is taking control of works that start in serialization form, usually manga, and adapting them, not generating whole new content. If VIZ Media even did feel like continuing the RWBY Saga, it would depend on:
other writers being welcomed into the room, because VIZ Media is a large corporation and is very unlikely to adhere to any fandomized purist idea that only Miles and Kerry should write for it and be credited with it,
other writers actually wanting to be associated with a series that is so badly stigmatized on the internet now. If you're Rooster Teeth, it won't be hard, you can pick from a pool of fans who will sell their souls to do so (and who cares about any quality), but VIZ wouldn't even glance in the direction of a tactic like that.
And if so, there's no real telling what it would look like, which is the axe coming down for the remaining RWBY fanbase, who are volatile and hostile and protective of what they think RWBY should be (i.e., Miles and Kerry). If VIZ Media is stupid, they'll plow ahead with this anyway, generating almost no profit because RWBY's tiny remaining fandom won't associate with it and RWBY's very large ex-fandom also isn't interested in it, thus falling into that Nintendo-style hole of making something no one asked for and then wondering why it didn't sell.
It would be much more in line with VIZ' profit-lined goals to maximize the revenue trickling into RWBY with another spinoff series like Ice Queendom or the manga series, which won't actually advance the story forward but will sate people expecting a Volume 10 at some point and merely needing any form of content to assure themselves it's inevitably coming.
Unfortunately, that means RWBY as a rebooted series with actual writers is also probably off the table, because VIZ Media are unlikely to do something they view as risky even if they think profit could be generated from it; the safer option is the trickle rather than hoping to strike a renewed spirit in fans.
And so RWBY is very likely to have the ultimate fate that I had naively thought we'd avoided back in May: spinning its wheels on the shelf of anime limbo for eternity rather than rebooting or dying peacefully.
