The bookshop really is Crowley's only safe space, because Demons can literally pop up in his car at any time. He isn't safe anywhere else. Aziraphale (through heavens power I might add) created that space. Crowley might rescue Aziraphale on occasion, but Aziraphale keeps Crowley safe on the day to day.
