Keep that in mind...You know what was interesting for me about that scene. It's it's really about for me what Lorelai, like didn't say in that scene the way she let that go on, because I think in a real world situation, who's going to let that conversation go on that long. So she was enjoying that....But it's such a Lorelai move right to, to cut somebody off and go, okay. Getting a little awkward here. All right. See ya. Here's your toolbox. Bye, bye. ♡• Damnnn, I don't know where to start 😵 he's a clever, smug ass, and he knows it, but I'm a full believer that this man could fall in love with the right person surprisingly deeply. I'm not making him out of character in any way by saying he'd fall in love at first sight, because he wouldn't, but he would have a growing interest in you that develops over the weeks into something more without him even realising it.

♡• You probably met when you both caught on with an outcome of a game, or someone giving off weird vibes. Probably in the Jack of Hearts game? He'll watch the manipulation and secret communications going on, and then notice that you're looking in the same direction. Your eyes will meet, and you'll just know that you're thinking the same thing, which interests him, and he'll raise a brow at you with that smirk of his from the other end of the room.

♡• Your independence and surprising intelligence are what moved Chishiya to wander over to you and make a comment or something about how it's going, and you'll get short conversations afterwards that pick up from there. It's nice to see someone who's not already breaking down from the intensity of the bloody games or is too stupid to notice that they'll probably be one of the first to die. So he starts popping up in place you hang around, just to see if you really are different in the way he likes. You are, ofc 🙃

♡• Once you've properly got a chance to talk outside of the game and form an unspoken sort of friendship, Chishiya finds himself intrigued by your personality. He wants to know how you think. How you feel. What you like and don't like. As the games and days go by, he's kind of borderline obsessed in this way 😂 because he's never really found someone interesting and special enough to catch his attention and hold onto it before, so with you, he's mesmerised in his own way.

♡• You can feel his stare from a mile away and damn he's a shameless starer 😏 and him being him will just give you a smirk, hold your gaze and then look away again. It happens a lot, and it always leaves you puzzled. Or he'll wave at you from a different vantage point of a particular game like he did with Aguni. The other people in the game get kind of suspicious by how you're both so ahead, whispering to each other every now and then and making it out of everyone alive, but Chishiya doesn't really care. He doesn't make his partnership with you in games a secret unless it's necessary.

♡• He gets to that point of trusting your decisions and you as a person where he starts speaking his mind to you instead of quietly to himself as well, and when you're on the same page of finishing each other's sentences, Chishiya definitely compliments your thinking, especially when you pick up on something that he didn't. He looks uncharacteristically, mildly taken aback as he studies you for a quick moment, but then it's replaced with that signature smile with a hint of something more in those deep brown eyes. "Clever girl, aren't you?" It's not condescending at all, it's more admiration and fondness, enough to make you smile and look away.

♡• When Chishiya comes to the point where he realises that it's not just fondness as a captivating friend that he feels for you, it's turning into a lot more than he ever expected himself to feel. He has to be alone for a little while to think about it, since it's another life, another responsibility besides his own, and close relationships have always been something he's never thought right for him. Until you.

♡• Frustrates the hell out of him on the one side, but he doesn't want to deny and push it away either. So after a time, he'll come and find you again, and instead of straight up asking you out like a normal person, he'll softly comment about how you two just work, have a meeting of minds he's never felt before. Not only in games, but in other ways too. He's not sappy or anything, but it's obvious he really likes you by the unusually gentle look on his features.

♡• Just kiss him 😵 that'll seal the deal, and suddenly you're the power couple of the borderlands with a smug-looking grey-blonde haired man who casually says, "I guess we're in this together, then, hm?" in the sweetest and cockiest way, like you didn't just make out for a solid five minutes just a second ago. He's a surprisingly good kisser hehe

♡• He only really won games out of observance and amusement before, but since you've come into his life, Chishiya finds himself winning them in the hopes of seeing you again, and hoping even more that you'll both pull through to make it out of this twisted world and into a reality where you can have a proper relationship. That's what he wants. He wants you.

♡• A lot of people think he wouldn't be into PDA, and I agree to the point that he wouldn't go strutting around all affectionate and loudmouthed with you attached to his hip *cough* Niragi *cough* but I just know he'd be proud to have you as his partner, in and out of games, when you go to sign in for each one. Like the Jack of Hearts. You'll be watching everyone go mad and trick each other, the secret communications and all, while Chishiya watches with his casual, amused expression, sharing his snacks with you while your arms swing between you slightly as you hold hands.

♡• Again, power couple 100000% 😏 he knows it, he's silently proud and smug about it, but again, not a loudmouth. He won't hide your relationship in any way because he values it, but he won't make a big deal of it when the group start asking.

♡• Chishiya knows you can handle yourself, since he's seen you win games independently using your own skills and knowledge, but still, he doesn't want to take chances. Not with you. So outside of games, he'll give you precious insights into how he thinks, so that you can realise things more quickly and win more easily. Probably even goes as far as to help you win when you're sticking by communicating with you in a secret way too. You've got to stay alive for each other. That's his only priority. He refuses to even think about a mistake that could be made, and the price you'd have to pay. It won't happen, not with him around. And I mean, he's a doctor too, so if you get hurt, he'll fix it up pretty easily.

♡• If you get overwhelmed every so often by the deaths and the blood and the pain, like having to take a step back and control your breathing, stop yourself from crying, Chishiya will know straight away. He's not afraid to show part of his hidden soft side with you, even if it's only been a week or so since you've met or you're not officially dating - he's not shy. Just reserved. So he'll tilt your face to look him dead in the eye with a gentle touch, and whisper so only the two of you can hear, "Don't cry now. You've got to use that brain of yours to get back home with me. Understand? Come on, breathe, you can do it."

♡• Behind closed doors, he's a lot more open to affection. Chishiya is the warmest boy ever when you want cuddles after a particularly rough face card game, or just to be close to him. Sometimes you'll talk in hushed tones about your pasts, or what you'll do in the future outside of the borderlands, sometimes it's just a comfortable silence. He finds it hilarious when you make up stories and tell him exactly what you want to do back at home, like get a cat or travel somewhere and eat something particular. He'll be all teasing about it like, "I'm going to be dragged with you to all these places then, am I? Just because I'm a doctor and make good money, you're gonna spend it all for me?" "Yes." "Minx."

♡• He's a whole simp in his own way, so at the end of the day, when you make it out of there alive, you can take him anywhere. Chishiya hated his empty life anyways, so going back to it after all this effort would be ludicrous. He's a sweetheart really, for sure, just give him a little time, and he'll open up to you, be there for you whenever you need him... I want a Chishiya 🥲

Dragons Rising Season 2 part 2 teaser breakdown

my thoughts and feelings regarding the DR s2 part 2 trailer. I have not watched any external analysis. this is pure unfiltered me

So we start off strong with Beatrix punching someone or something. Given the red landscape, I'm thinking it's Lloyd in his vision. So that's great. Very interesting that they keep bringing her up in the visions but we haven't seen her yet. Maybe she'll show up in the Tournament?

And may I just say that Source Dragon looks beautiful! Still in Lloyd's vision. The crown she's wearing is glowing and that might be significant. Could be showing her powers? Whatever those are. Fire or Motion would be my guess.

Lloyd has a little close-up shot with him looking pretty worried. Could be in the vision still and I'm guessing it is given the red shading around his face. So yay another confusing/angsty Lloyd vision! That's what we're here for!

We get a good look at the Tournament place! Idk if it's a palace or what. (again, haven't watched any other reviews.) But it's very big and colorful. The little TV in the background shows Lloyd doing something, probably fighting.

Whoever this guy is, ringing a bell. Could be the start/stop of fights, that would be my guess. No idea who that is but he'll likely be significant and say some lines.

KAIIII! Kai in the Netherspace! Still in his Climber Suit and I'm glad. We've seen people change outfits when they probably shouldn't have so I'm glad they didn't (yet) with Kai. He goes through an upside-door and walks into a room with at least three of the Forbidden Five! They're all facing to the right with their heads bowed. One of them is glowing and might be sitting on a chair or throne. There's no waaaaaay that'll EVER be significant (can ya hear the sarcasm??). I can't WAIT to see how they're gonna deal with him in there cause there's no way Kai won't get into a fight. I hope if he does it's to protect Bonzle. He's the big bro ever <3

GROUP SHOT! Wyldfyre looks tamer with her new hair lol. And Cole's back with the group YAS! LLOYD IN HIS MASTER OUTFIT FINALLY! And all the suits look so cool. Riyu in the back—I wonder if he's competing or what cause idk how they're gonna deal with a dragon who apparently has a lot of potential, given the Source Dragon of Energy last season. Also Arin and Sora being excited is so wholesome cause they're just kids. Meanwhile the others (minus Wyldfyre) have already been in a tournament...

Back in the Realm of Madness! But uhhh why is the Dragon Matriarch from Season 1 there?? And she looks injured. Reunion with her and Riyu. I hope she's okay.

Wylfyre being Wyldfyre...she might be defending someone given her expression and the wall of fire.

Sora killing it at the obstacle course (part of the fights maybe or training—not sure yet).

The same guy who let the Ninja into the Tournament is on a hover device holding a phone on a selfie stick, so I'm gonna guess he's the announcer for the fights or social media watching them.

Arin and Sora shot with the background doing that thing (idk what it's called lol) when they learn something shocking. Probably with epic music cause it's Ninjago. Without much context I have no idea what the revelation is but I sure can't wait to find out.

Cinder with...fire??? It looks like Wyldfyre's Heat. Idk. Is that was smoke is supposed to look like?? I don't remember that at all from last season. If he can use Heat then Fy is in trouble.

Sora racing through the undergrounds with a little dragon coming up beside her. I have to say it looks very cute. Not sure who it is or why Sora is down there but they could be helping each other escape or smth (idk if you all have a better idea lmk).

Master Lloyd (hehe) fighting someone at night. I'm hoping it's not part of the normal Tournament but it's getting caught doing smth at night cause that's more fun imo. In that whole sequence he's only playing defense��just blocking attacks—and not trying to land a hit of his own. It would be crazy if he's fighting Jay. That would give a reason for no offense. Also the attacker's outfit is new.

Jiro and Zanth fighting Imperium guards! They could be with Beatrix since Imperium stopped fighting dragons. I wouldn't be surprised if there were still guards loyal to the ex-empress.

GEO!!!!

We've been here before... Hopefully Fy has a better time (though she gets blasted back by Cinder using Shatterspin in the video soooo idk). If Cinder is using Shatterspin, the Gong of Shattering and a wolf mask are readily available for him.

Sora gets trapped by spears. She's got a new weapon too, more like a staff, glowing with her color. Did she make it? I hope so.

Lloyd gets snatched by a dragon. Still in his Climber Suit so probably ep 11 or 12. He's falling but it doesn't rly look like he's worried about it? More like a controlled glide. Also yeah that's Heatwave. So happy he's finally getting more screentime.

The Source Dragon of Motion! She looks awesome! ... That's the Monastery of Spinjitzu below. Holy Creation she is HUGE! I'm guessing this happens at the end of the season.

Sooo that's the teaser. I am so very normal about this.

I'm curious why they didn't add more of Kai in the Netherspace. It could be more of a secret thing like how they hid Jay so far in the series by not putting him in ANY trailers or promo clips. Lots of mystery surrounding him. PLEASE let him fight the Forbidden Five at some point!!

Thoughts I had during TGCF Season 1 the Recap!

Basically, I recap the First Season of TGCF with my reactions, before my Season 2 binge watch!

Ep 1

-Don’t go out there… don’t go out there… don’t go out there… don’t go out there… *Bride gets snatched* Okay, maybe you should’ve gone out there.

-Right after XL ascends, Lan Hai and Qing Tao then go, “Huh, Who is that?”  Then everybody yells at them, “PRINCE XIE LIAN!”

-So much Property Damage…

-Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!

-Fu Yao, *Is sarcastic and rolls his eyes* Basically me: He’s just like me fr!!!

-Hehehehehehe Dick joke XD

-Sees Bride!XL: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I’m Sorry XD!

I have to start with one that you obviously already know because it was you that recommended it to me which is Little death by +44 (the mirror scene in season 1 and this, it's just insane)

Then, one that is very Wilmon out of Wilhelm's perspective coded: Turning page by Sleeping at last!!!! "Nothing prepared me for what the privilege of being yours would do" "your love is my turning page where only the sweetest words remain" just this song is so ....like Wilhelm was so miserable in his position and he truly probably believed that's all his life could ever be, until Simon came around and he could even begin to question things

I have to mention a Finneas song because his songs literally are so yr coded. Lost my mind because it perfectly encapsulates how unhinged they are about each other. "Am I in your head half as often as you're on my mind? If i don't make sense please forgive me I can't sleep at night, at least not alone, not anymore, not since I found what I never went looking for"

Also very Wille in season 2 or maybe also towards the end of season 3 when they are broken up is Amar pelos Dois by Salvador Sobral. The lyrics are Portuguese but essentially it is about you being in love with someone and the other person not loving you back, so you go "I can love for the both of us" which is very much how I imagine Wille's mind to go when he thinks Simon is over him.

Also very much Wilmon while broken up coded imo is This is on me by Ben Abraham and Sara Bareilles. "Trying to break the fall some kind of wrecking ball we turned out to be" all this mess they found themselves in due to outside circumstances. "All I have is the hurt. The Rules of Rotations

You've been on the sims forums, or watching sims videos for a long time. Maybe you've heard of this already, maybe you're already implementing rotational gameplay in your own sims game (sims 2 or otherwise). Just in case you haven't, though, or in case you're interested on how I play - or are just overall looking for ideas - here is a brief description and then a set of rules I follow: Rotational Gameplay Description: Easily and more concisely described, rotational gameplay is when you play various families in some type of order with a specific amount of days. Fun fact: all of the sims 2 'hoods are actually meant to be played in a rotation. This is notably present because of the scripted events that all the families have when you load in. Interestingly, though, while I've heard a lot of people say that you need to specifically play in the Prima Guide order - you don't. I've seen simmers play the scripted events “out of order" and they work just fine. However, depending on which order you play it in you may lose some of the scripted events. For example, if you start with the Goth Family in Pleasantview you will get the scripted events and all can go well... or not... depending on what you do/how you want to play it, but you completely lose Don Lotharios scripted events. If you play with the Caliente sisters first, you won't have Mortimer (and maybe Alexander) in the Goth mansion when you load in to do Cassandra's wedding and need to invite them to attend. There's a lot of little things like that with the scripted events, so while you don't need to play in the Prima Guide order, it is pretty useful if you want to enjoy some of the originally intended drama. Rotational Gameplay Rules: I have a lot of rules and need to break down said rules into sections, so buckle your seatbelts kids, we're in for a long ride. (why am I like this?)

'Hood Rotation Rules: 'Hoods are the starter area of all sim families. This is where you first load up (provided you haven't downloaded a subhood and are loading into that first, obviously). Whether you've loaded into an original pre-made hood, a custom hood, or are creating your own, all of these rules could apply. Rule #1. "How long are we going to stay here, mom?" Well, that depends. This little portion of the rules varies amongst simmers. My typical style is maxis' season length (5 days, baby). For me, this not only allows the most amount of days to progress my sims and their stories but also allows me to get the most enjoyment out of my game. Not to mention, it's very easy to pass over my sims and I know where I'm at just by the seasons. Yes, you can also make an excel sheet, but for those of us peasants without a dual monitor (me), going back and forth is a pain and it just makes it a chore. Following the seasons is a tad difficult when you play like me in a desert 'hood and have fixed the seasons so that you don't get winters, and instead have 2 back to back summers. I either do check my spreadsheet, or really simply go into my families in order and find which sim family is in an earlier season than the rest. Which leads me to...

Rule #2. Where do we start? Where do we end? Now that you know what rotational gameplay is, and you also know how long you want to play for, here comes the main and probably most important question. Who do you play with first? As I mentioned above, when playing with the premade original Sims 2 'hoods, we do have a Prima Guide to guide (hehe) us on whom we might play first. In the three original 'hoods the standard is: - Pleasantview: Don Lothario - Strangetown: Curious Brothers - Veronavillie: The Capps But what if you have your own 'hood? For me, that leads into a whole other upcoming blog post, but without stealing from my future self: Your first family (yep, that big of a no-brainer). Choose or make your own family, either from the bin or create a sim, and make them your first sim family in your rotational gameplay. I play without using too many of my precious brain cells and essentially play in the order of who moved into the hood, first to last. However, there is, of course, a loophole in this rule (of course there is): Sims who moved out of a household get played after their original household. Let me give you an example to really make it clear: Nina Caliente wants to move out as soon as Dina and Mortimer get married (fair, I wouldn't want to third wheel my sister's marriage either). In my rotational rules Nina's household would now be played after Dina. Changing the rotation from: Lothario, Goth, Caliente, Broke... it would be Lothario, Goth, Caliente-Goth, Caliente, Broke... This specific rule works the whole way around for me. If your sims teen moves off to University, when they come back they are played after their original family (unless they move back in with the parents).

Rule #3. Pay day, tax day, and the great beyond. Now there are A LOT of ways to do this, and there are a lot of simmers who have made various tax systems and mods to implement this. So before I get into anything, here is a list of some of my favourite tax systems: - Pleasantsims Tax System classic - PhDSimmer Tax System - Delijume-Sims Tax System - Sims 2 Idea's Tax Calculator - Monquie's Automatic Payment Mod This isn't even an extensive list. There are SO many tax systems that you can follow or pull from that at this point it almost feels redundant to make one of my own. So I'm not. I use the Pleasantsims Tax System, but I've also been known to sometimes try other things out (hence the above list). Find what you like, do a google search if none of these tickle you, or create your own. Because I do follow a modless version, I also need to have a system on *when* I do my taxes, and what happens to my poor dear old sims who "forgot" to do their taxes on time (it happens). - Every 2nd day of all seasons is tax day. Yes, even if it's the weekend. It makes more sense to me this way because I cannot load in on day one and just go straight to taxes. - On day 3, if you haven't paid your taxes yet (silly goose), you now owe 5% of the unpaid tax + 1% of the unpaid tax every day that you're late. Yes, that means that if you owed $100 in tax and forgot you now owe $160 on day 3, $170 on day 4 and so on. - If you’ve missed 2 rounds of taxes you are now charged with ~tax evasion~ 200% of your overall taxes are now owed and you get to go to jail for a full sim season (how fun!). Going back to the example of owing $100 in taxes: by day 5 you owe $180, by day 1 of the new season you owe $190, the new tax season asks, let’s say another $100 (for simplicity purposes) and the red flags are up. If by the next tax day you haven’t paid you now owe $380+$760=$1,140 and a whole sim season in jail (yikes). I enjoy adding a jail so that I can enjoy some realism and a little bit of fun, while teaching my sims that there are consequences to their actions. Not to mention, there is a lot of drama that can happen because your sim is in jail. I won’t go in too deeply here, because that is for another blog post. All in all, this is an easy way to make sure that sims don’t get too rich and add the possibility of some great storytelling. Imagine sending your Business Tycoon sim to jail because they were evading taxes? I wonder what would happen with their gold digger wife… (cue evil laughter)

 Rule #4. To go on vacation, or not to go on vacation, that is the question. I love going on vacations with my sim families. You know what I don’t like, though? I don’t like the fact that time freezes while on vacation (what is even the point of vacation days if that happens anyway?). So with the use of this incredibly useful mod I no longer have to deal with that insanity. - Simwardrobe's Season and Weather Controller : download here This handy-dandy little mod is INTEGRAL for the way I play because all my sims need to be on the same seasons for the rotations to work properly. Not only does this allow me to change the season for moved-in sims to be on the right timeline, but in this case of use, it allows me to choose how many days have passed in-game. Let’s say that you left on day 2 of spring and are “gone” on vacation for 3 days, this means that you’re back home on your last day of rotation (day 5). The in-game mechanics just make it later in the day, but realistically you were gone for a lot longer than just a couple hours. With the use of Simwardrobe’s mod, I can just set the day in the season to day 5. (While writing this I cannot remember if for the life of me if this will automatically age your sims the 3 days they’re missing, but if not, you can use this mod: SimBlender) *This is also an incredibly useful mod for storytelling amongst other things. There is not a family in my game that does not own this thing. I use it to change aspirations, hobbies, age, etc. I don’t think I could create a lot of the stories I do without it. Now, this of course does not subtract your vacation days or anything like that, but it’s all good. Use those vacation days when they’re elders or if they’re actually sick. Regardless, you no longer have to play your sim for an extra 3+ days because you sent them on vacation. Now, vacationing is part of your rotation! Also, worry not! If you decide to go on a longer vacation than 3 days and it bleeds into the next season, both of those mods have your back and you can calculate where they are supposed to be when you arrive home. Then you can just move on with the rotations and come back to them where they are.

Rule #5. “Well, we're here... now what?” “Party.” Okay, you've got your families, you're staying for the season, taxes are being calculated, you start to play and... what? This is where my rules get a little more niched than some of the other rules you may or may not find all over the sims corner of the internet. To be infinitely clear, while I am writing this I don't believe I was the first to implement ALL these rules and I don't think I am the first to even make them up. Because I play a full rotation with seasons, I like to add a little je-ne-sais-quoi. I actually do know what (yes, I speak French), I play with Holidays. Holidays are truly what make the seasons go-round, and offer you the option to have more parties and get-togethers and not get stuck in the mundane day-to-day simulation that is your sims life (...or yours?). What are the Holidays I play with? - Spring Day 2: Love Day - Summer Day 2: Will Wright Day - Autumn Day 4: Halloween - Winter Day 3: Winterfest - Winter Day 4: New Years Now, I will be real with you, I don't *always* do *every* holiday with all my families. Not only would that get repetitive but also intensely boring. Also, not all sims celebrate all the things. Instead, I like to have certain families do certain parties. For example, I have a family where one of the sims is the mayor of the town and in my mind he hosts THE Winterfest bash. That's the one you desperately want to be invited to. They go BIG. I have another family who's friends with most people in the town, and they love to throw a great BBQ party on Will Wright Day. On the other hand, I love to make my sims go out for Love Day because unless my sims roll the want for a date... I sometimes forget to send them on one (wups). This is a great way to ensure some fun and a little bit of stability in your rotational gameplay. You might forget to do it one season, you might be like me and decide which sims host or celebrate what. You may even want to add more events! Either way, implementing your own holiday system is always a good time if you ask me. Plus, as per the last blog post, what a fun way to maybe cause chaos. Oh no... you took your side piece out for valentines and not your spouse... big yikes.. Alright, it’s time for our next set of rules etc guys. Welcome to…

University Rotation Rules: Rule #1. “What else am I supposed to do? Stay here and learn?” - E.L ‘Road Trip’ Yes. You’ve arrived at university. It’s time to learn… hopefully. Now, what if you have multiple sims going to university, and you don’t want to play with too many sims in one place? Easy, you place them in different housing and you play with them, say it with me, ~rotationally~! 

Exciting, right? You may be wondering how to play rotationally in university in a fun, yet unified way, that makes it more fun. I like to play with each family per-term. That means I complete term 1 of Freshman year, move onto the next family and so on until I am back to the first family and officially on term 2 for the whole gang. The reason I do this is two fold: 1. You have an ample amount of time per-term to achieve your sim wants, maybe do well in school, and create some drama.  2. This creates an official rotation for when they move into town.

I write it this way because some of you are like me, and when creating a new ‘hood you start off with your first ever created sim in University. Maybe you even create multiple families, or decide to play with some of the friends your sim made. Or you’re on the second generation and you have multiple sims going to university at the same time.

If you have multiple sims from a generation moving in, but they are not the same age in your mind, maybe you play with the ageing system of 1 day = 1 year (which makes sense) you may want your sims to stay in that ageing order. (This is where things get complicated, but I’m going to fully break it down for you, so continue reading on.)

If a sim is meant to move to University a year after another sim, you move them in once said original sim has completed Freshman year. (easy, right?). When they move into the ‘hood once completed university, you play them with -1 day in the season. This means you use that handy mod I linked above, and when you move the latter sim in you set the season to day 2 right away (tax day! lucky them).

Hopefully that makes sense to you, because here comes the part that may or may not throw you off a bit: The Sims 2 University is split into 4 “years” which can look like 4 days - unless you play per-term like I do which could instead look like 8 days… but that is an awkward and long amount of time for your sims to be away. So I meet myself in the middle. In my sims world sims are gone for university for 1 full rotation (5 sim days). Yes, *technically* the way I play, all sims are gone to university for 4 days, which would mean that they should come back 4 days after they left, but that is a lot of things to remember and I cannot. So instead of breaking my head whenever I send a sim off to university, I finish up whatever days are left in the household and finish their rotation before moving on. From there, my sims are gone for 1 full rotation. That means if my sim leaves home in Spring, they’re gone for the Summer and back for Autumn. It seems like a while, and I can imagine for really strict age-based players that can seem very wrong, but for my brain it’s the easiest way. Not to mention, I often use the elixir of life and/or age sims down or up via the Simblender (what can I say, I love making the game work for me).

Of course, make the game work for you, and if you like doing the maths and work on an age-based gameplay style: just do the 4 day university rotation rules. I suggest if you do this, though, you have a really detailed spreadsheet. If you’re like me, though, 1 rotation is plenty and you need not to worry about all that. 

Rule #2. Loans & Lies told to you. I know a lot of simmers who like to use loans and make university actually cost you money. I, however, believe in a world where higher education (like a bachelors degree) should be free. I’m not going to lie to you, this little section is stale because I don’t have a system in place for paying for books/classes etc. I like to imagine that your “bills” are what you owe to the school for living on campus (which, it is so…). I also do not tax my University sims. Here’s why: I play with the No-20k-Handout mod, and the money my Sims make in university is the money they have to start their life with. It can be hard sometimes… especially considering the fact that Sims that graduate with a 4.0 make a maximum of $9,600. This doesn’t include your bills, clothes or furniture you buy or anything else for that matter. Most of my university sims end up in very unfurnished apartments. Luckily for my sims that have quite established families, I also have: Monique’s Hacked Computer and I will send them a bit of money once they’ve finished university to get them started. One of my sims parents sent her $35k as soon as she finished university.

Rule #3. ‘tis the season to drink a lot of juice I don’t play with the same rules regarding holidays when in University. The chances of your final exam and Winterfest happening at the same time is just too much for me to handle. It’s okay, though, because it birthed some new fun rules for me to share with you. While my sims don’t celebrate anything while in university, it tends to be because I enjoy feeling like everything is unified. How? Whatever seasonal rotation they’re on is the season they’re stuck in throughout their time in university. Yep, that is 8 full days of Summer or any other season for that matter. I will say, when the rotation falls in Autumn it’s pretty awesome because they experience faster skill gain during that season. But man, my romance or secondary romance sims THRIVE when it’s Spring because of the extra smooth romance interactions during that season. Now, some of you may love it, some of you may hate it. So here are some other ways you can have fun with it: - Everlasting Autumn: for those of you who like a smoother ride with skill gain during your university gameplay. I do, however, want to mention that sims with gold and above aspirations really do thrive with the wonderful Thinking Cap that you can purchase with your aspiration points. Knowledge sims with the Eureka! Aspiration trait, the Thinking Cap, and Autumn season gain skills like it’s nobody's business and it’s awesome, but also can be a little boring because of just how easy it can be. - Using either our wonderful weather mod via Simwardrobe (linked above) you can adjust how long a season is and make it last for each individual “year” is a valid option. Or you can use the in-game mechanics of choosing the seasons in the neighbourhood setting (which can be different from sub-hood to sub-hood). Doing it the latter way, I would make every season 1 season until Freshman year is over, then change it when sims go into their Sophomore year. Because I play like they’re gone for a season, I like to play with an everlasting season based on when I’ve sent them. To me, this makes it feel more complete. Like I really did play them during their summer season and not like they skipped one altogether. Of course, though, to completely discount my first paragraph - you could always play with one of the Holidays (or all of them, I won’t judge you) during your university gameplay. For example, keeping in the tone of you sent your sim to university for the summer: Sophomore year would be when I would consider doing a Will Wright Day party. The Greek house is going to love that idea. 

Rule #4. Bring him to the Greek-house I have a pretty heavy handed rule for greek-houses specifically made for the ‘hoods that I have created myself. No one can join a greek house until they are a third generation university sim from parents and grandparents who were in the secret society (ouf).

Yep, I think that far ahead. While greek houses in the sims can be created by anyone, I like to add this rule because they can be a bit of a pain and I like to create a greek house that is picky about who gets to join. I also get a little cheat-y at this point, but I’m ahead of myself.  Here’s the breakdown: - Gen 1 sim(s) need to be inducted in the secret society. That means they *need* to meet and befriend 3 secret society members. - Gen 2, all the same. Make friends with the sims wearing the black blazer. - Gen 3. You are a third generation sim and therefore an immediate secret society member. How do you do it?: in the neighbourhood view type in “boolprop testingcheatsenabled true”. Go into your 3rd Gen family and shift click your sim. From there, an option menu will come up, find and click on “Add to Secret Society” and tada, you’re in. I suggest, if you’re alone in the university or the only sim who gets this option, befriending some of the members and then creating your greek house. From there, add your secret society friends to the house.

It can be interesting and a little complicated when let’s say that you have 2nd Gen siblings that go to university and one gets in and the other does not, because that means the children from the sim that was a member gets to have a greek house (if they want it), and the children from the sim that was not a member has to work on being friends with secret society members if they want to get into the greek house. My fun little loophole works like this: if you’re cousins with a greek house member, you just have to be friends with them and the other members of the greek house to be invited in. At that point you have a family member vouching for you, and the rest of the greek house has agreed that you have enough status to get in, despite the fact that your parent wasn’t a member. This, of course, only matters if said sims even want to be a part of a greek house.

Regardless, the rule is: both a grandparent and parent need to be secret society members to get you to be an immediate member, and only an immediate member can start a greek house. To join, you must become a secret society member by befriending everyone from the greek house (which you pretty much need to do anyway to apply, so really I’m helping you get in right away). Finally, let’s say this next sim is Gen 4: Gen 1 was a SS member, Gen 2 was a SS member, Gen 3 wanted to join a greek house and therefore created one by being an immediate member, and Gen 4 is an immediate SS member and placed in the greek house asap. *to keep the greek house going, keep a placeholder sim in the greek house. At this point, it should be easy because there are probably sims going to university at different times. (Remember to send off sims in different years to keep the space, for example, your sibling may be 4 days younger, and therefore start university during the older siblings Senior year!) If we are going with the cousin scenario, their children can join the greek house right away and become immediate SS members (again, only if they want to) because their parent was in the greek house and therefore would give them the opportunity to join based on family status.

I also want to make a point and say that while my sims who aren’t SS members do sometimes end up successful sims, I like to think that being a SS member gives you a leg-up after university (networking with nepo babies who?). Which makes me almost ensure in my gameplay that the sims who are SS members and/or greek house participants lead quite successful and lavish lifestyles. This means kids are sent to private school (which costs money, thank you Monique's hacked computer) and live the life I imagine all those kids from ‘Gilmore Girls’ Life and Death Brigade got to.

** last little note: when I play with the premade hoods a lot of this section pretty much flies out the door. As there are pe-made universities that go with those hoods there are also pre-made greek houses who are not SS members. You can go ahead and change that and keep these rules if that gives you joy, or you can be like me and throw it all away. In the Pleasantview-Sim State University land I like to add sims where they want to as they want to. My Angela Pleasant wanted to be a greek house member and so she joined the sorority with only the in-game mechanic rules around that. The Sims is, as always, your game. Play it how it feels best for you.

Things I Noticed While Writing Light The Fuse: Part 11, Episode 4

This one may be just about one Phoenix but finally I get to show Ethan some love hehe 🥰💛

Before we get to him though, a clock! An actual, working clock! The rare showing of time that helps me figure out how long this show is actually going for!

Here it is, my Timeline. The furthest it goes is the 23rd, and he would be checking more pages if it went further to see if she was/had been there, so I placed Cop Night on July 23rd with this scene taking place the next morning on the 24th, therefore Ethan starts dating Matty and Johnson on July 23rd to go along with Matty and Johnson's anniversary on July 1st in Fucked / Up ❤️💛💙

Going off this single date I ended up having the fic start on June 7th with Ethan arriving on the 8th by the end of my figurings, and I have a column in my notes just for dates based on what everyone says, their runs, and outfit changes, all thanks to this single crumb. And now we have all three of their Phoenixversaries, Johnson on February 2nd (with his bday), Ethan on June 8th, and Matty exactly two months later on August 8th~

This still isn't Ethan but this scene will forever haunt me WHY IS HELL ITSELF AT THIS MOTEL???

Okay now it's Ethan Time, because this scene makes me insane for a different reason. Him saying later that he literally just trusted her through everything really confirms that Ethan is a canon dumbass, like dude you can still trust her but you had to have some idea! This is why I made him so aware of what's going on that he held info away from her as well. I really loved writing this scene, I love writing all their scenes, him constantly trying to cut ties with her and failing each time she calls because of their bond is so important to me with all the angst possibilities

Like this right here, with that smile of hers knowing that he will, and him doing it. Add in the fact that he also knows he will even when he's catching on that she's not the Doris he knew anymore, I love that so much and I'm so glad I got to write it all out amidst him hanging up on her after making her panic that Burt already got to him before he namedrops Matty for the first time

Also Ethan having this convo directly next to a Pinup room when he's trying to be stealthy is so funny to me

That's because you just spoke to your adoptive mom after gaining not one but two boyfriends, of course you're feeling weird. Also since when does Ethan wear a black undershirt, that's Matty's! I'm insane!!

Ethan is so cute I love his smile so much 🥰🥰🥰

The fact that he hasn't had this talk with Johnson in canon is so weird to me, he's around him so often that I bet he'd talk about it with Matty there, I don't doubt that cause I'm obviously upping his mystery in my own way since I don't know what his actual deal is. It makes for a nice bonding scene with Meredith, but they really underutilized Johnson also being around for so long so many times which is just criminal honestly

I really wonder if she was ever able to talk about this, since it was such a big thing, a war so bad Joel's even afraid of it and she was just a child during it. I really never shipped them even before my eyes were opened to the Phoenixes being boyfriends, so them having this conversation as friends is so important to me. It's a romance that doesn't need to happen for them to stay close, just like she is with Matty, and I can only pray they stayed this way in season 2.

Their friendship is everything to me. At its basis, these are two people who need friends more than anything, people to listen and be there for them as they come to see that they're already home, if season 2 had come out and had them suddenly start making out sloppy style it might've actually made me upset and that's no joke

Episode 4 down, I can tell already that ep5 is gunna need several posts but I am so ready to talk about it hehe 💛

Same with me! If Season 3 has Jelly endgame I'll watch it otherwise season 2 episode 8 was the series finale just like Book 2 was the ending for me. I do hope people write Jelly fics I love this ship so much they're soulmates. You know I thought the other day about if Jeremiah wasn't in both the book and the tv show and we didn't have Jelly for a relationship in both best friends and lovers I think the show and books would of been so boring I already find Conrad bland boring and toxic so watching Conrad treating Belly like shit for 3 books isn't it for me Jenny Han is a sadist for having her keep going back to Conrad who would want him? Also he was so childish last night He hurt Belly and Jeremiah so much especially Jeremiah shaming him all throughout the ep Steven too worst friend ever only Belly and Taylor was on his side made my heart feel warm hehe. I have to talk about what else I hated the candy scene which made no sense Jere knows everything about Belly he would know what she likes they added this to give Conrad even more favors than what the books had but the mom dying scene I hated how she said to take care of Conrad um can we talk about how she basically groomed Belly to be into Conrad? Like for real the only reason she liked Conrad was because of this I swear obviously Jeremiah's feelings don't matter as much 95% of the characters don't care about him which is sad. Jeremiah is so mature and smart but never gets credit for it I was crying when he was talking to Conrad about letting Belly go did you see how he was having trouble saying it? It was breaking his heart now you're telling me we have all this and they aren't endgame? No they feel like the main relationship of the show even in the books Jelly has the most development and feel endgame book 3 never counted to me I read that once and never picked it up again it has no connection to the series in my opinion just a way to make Bonrad happen so Jenny had to ruin Belly and Jeremiah's characters.

If jelly didn't exist, i wouldn't even start it. Like wdym I should watch the toxic relationship? Naaah, they only reason I'm watching this show is jelly only!

K LITERALLY DESPISE CONRAD IN THAT CAR SCENE. SHUT UP. IF I WAS JEREMIAH OR BELLY, I WOULD PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE. THEY HAVE TOO MUCH PATIENCE.

Candy scene literally didn't make any sense. I think it was added in his favor, but Jeremiah would never forget it. Like in the scene where they bought drinks, he literally said that the drink she bought is her fav one after tasting it.

When skye said that Susannah wasn't a Saint, I was like, "Go on dear, what else do you wanna tell us?" Like, she was so obsessed that belly must end up with one of her boys. It's bellys life, she will choose it. Don't put that responsibility on her. Belly literally adores her and kinda may be scared to disappoint her, so she kinda put that image of conrad that she thinks she's in love? Anyways, Belly was just 16 yo and Susannah asked her to take care of her son. Like, go talk to your son instead. It's not women's responsibility to fix broken men!

Day 1: Origin story/What made me fall in love with the show?

I discovered the show by the time it had ended, in about 2018, maybe 2019. (My parents actually found it on Netflix and we watched it) I was going through a massive history phase because of Hamilton the Musical so this obviously didn’t help. Pretty British men on screen taking part in a Revolution? Yeah, I’ll watch your show. 

I ended up loving all of the characters and the plot, despite any dramatized historical inaccuracy. But it did make me do research to know what the truth was. I have been very attached to it since. I even made this animated video which you may or may not have seen floating around on YouTube.

Day 3: Favorite villain/good-gone-bad

I have two contenders. 

Simcoe, because he is an absolute menace whenever he’s on-screen. He has this mastermind-ish vibe about him behind that icy blue stare. He’s always scheming something or attempting to plan or backstab his way to get what he wants, even if he’s not even saying anything. I felt uneasy when he was on-screen in season 1, and was really rooting for him to perish at the end of season 4. Cold, calculating, manipulative stinker.

Also, Benedict Arnold. Not that he’s necessarily a villain (I mean he kinda is, but not at the start), but because his personality and his downfall. Owain Yeoman really sells his character to have this better-than-thou presence (derogatory) whenever he enters a room. Watching his whole traitor arc is interesting once you pick up on all the little details about what brought him to that, and how he’s just so stubborn that he keeps on going, even if it means he has to somehow “fight” his way through. He’s so pompous and bull-headed that the dramatic irony kicks in and you know he’s gonna get his just deserts eventually.

Day 4: History nerdery (you can correct me if i’m wrong anywhere)

Most of the nitpicks I have with Turn are kinda silly, like the ages of the characters. Historically, Anna and Selah were married with many kids already, and Anna was older than Abe by like 10 years, if I’m not mistaken. I thought it was silly that Abe and Anna had a relationship in the show, but I guess whatever draws in that romance audience. 

Similarly, Abe being a bachelor throughout the spying years, and Thomas not existing in any shape or form in Abe’s family tree. Just weird little things. I understand it raises the stakes and gives something for Abe to fight for, but... he’s literally just a guy. A guy who’s given this extraordinary task. I’d watch a show about a little guy doing little guy things.

Day 5: Turn Dinner Party???

Assuming they don’t pounce on each other the second I look away: Ben Tallmadge, Caleb Brewster (life of the party), Mary, Hewlett, Anna, Peggy, John Andre, George and Martha Washington (I hear George was a good dancer), Lafayette, Bucephalus (I want the horse at the party), Abigail, Akinbode, Cicero. MAYBE Simcoe if he’s not being goofy. 

Abe can stay at home and think about his life. He doesn’t need to have all this drama.

III NEW EPISODE SPOILER ALERT.

It's honesty just me rambling about the show,you may kept on scrolling.

Honesty? The episode was 7 or 8 ish outta ten.

It was fine and nice one,i don't have strong opinions on me especially when my brain tuning out two times from heing overwhelmed but it was a fine episode. But here's what i thought:

sorry,i know it's balloon imagination. but cheesy voice act hurts my ear. And the fact that bro literally said that balloon already done so much and sacrifice himself even tho by logic,he definitely would only exist for an episode feels funny. And don't let me start talking about the simp superman fantasy novel hehe... This 'writing challenge' draws each character perspective pretty nicely tho

springy and walkie talkie are cobs worker/creation to distract me phone from getting back into season 2 problem he caused. But honesty? knowing the man, He wouldn't go through that such leght. He gave me energy that he would rather copy other company idea and pass it as his own or create his own bot/use an ai to create the whole season and only hire people to make the quality good at puking a fuck ton of rainbow and random action for the kids to not get distracted but got confused when people said it's the worst thing ever because he thought that good animation style=your series was automatically awesome even tho if it was a me phone,it would explode at the second it was finished. How i get that idea you may ask? Well i'm definitely not putting cob as springy on my au.. Heh.

since this season feels like it was more into focusing at one theme at a time. springy would give out some sort of symbolism too,like. walkie and springy definitely represent those companies that buy another company/cartoons and milks the fuck out of it.making them soulless as hell. Walkie talkie definitely show the manager who pushed it worker the most... Ehem ehem- disney..

Orr they draw how the fans wanted to kept the show on and on. Society pressure and stuff. But i honesty didn't see that one

the walkie talkie person real identity would 100% be showed next episode. Like cmon,i wouldn't believe a non faced objects to be alive. No,we don't talk about season 1.

anyway, did you enjoy one piece? i had fun watching it. not the best live action out there for me but considering it's one piece, i'd say the cast did a wonderful job. it's also nice to know you already tried the goofy boss manga!! they are all super adorable and just heal your soul. ^^

as for webtoons, i do have some i can recommend:

Devil Number 4 - a devil and a young woman formed a "contract" in exchange for her soul. it's a cute story, has some plot twists here and there and the story of the other characters are interesting too. this is already completed so you don't have to wait for the new chapters. i might reread this again.

Interview with a Murderer by Queensa - this one's BL. as the title suggests, one of the MC is a serial killer and the other character is a journalist. but if you are not comfortable with serial killers and psychological thrillers, feel free to ignore this one. this one is just one of my favourite BL webtoons so i might as well include it in the list. this is only around 60+ chapters and the ending felt a bit rushed. and because the story is so good, i would've preferred if there were a few more chapters or at least some side stories.

Eleceed - imagine Study Group but give the students powers, enemies of today become friends of tomorrow. this series is pretty much addicting. when i finished reading up to the latest, i ended up rereading my favourite parts. and the relationship of the main character with his friends is so good.

Bring the Love by Zestkyo - this one's my ultimate favourite romance webtoon. i must admit, i am not a superfan of series that focuses heavily on romance, but this one is just the best romance story for me. season 1 is already completed and season 2 is still ongoing. i also lost count of the number of times i reread my favourite scenes. this one's historical (13th century setting) so just a heads-up in case this setting is not your cup of tea. and oh, there are lgbt couples here, too!

these are what i recommend for now! i am still reading eleceed and bring the love, but devil number 4 and interview with a murderer are both completed. i hope this helps! (￣▽￣*)ゞ

last but not the least! i would also like to recommend another manga series, kyuujitsu no warumono-san (mr. villain's day-off). it's also a light-hearted, soul-healing series. and this is getting anime and broadcast starts in january. you may also watch this through my gifs since i will definitely be making edits for this one. lol

Sonic prime season 2 [Opinion]

So, I have seen all episodes of the second season and I must say I am very disappointed.

It was starting very good with the first episode, shadow showed so much emotion. How desperate Shadow was to follow sonic... it made me tear up so much. Poor boy

But the more episodes I watched the less interested I became.

There were good moments indeed, like when Black Rose and Rusty Rose were acting very kind to each other, or when Dread and Renegate Knux fought with each other.

Another one would be the fight sonic and shadow had against each other at the beginning or the last fight they had together in the end of the season, buuuut... yeah it was very sus.

Hehe I bet the Sonadow fans out there are screaming xD

Btw in the German version, sonic even said that he loves Shadow when shadow saved Sonic from the missiles... even it it was meant to be sarcastic... (Episode 8 minute 3:14... I guess) -w-"

I kinda think the character were kinda out of character.

Like Sonic in the first episode was really desperate and sad with his shaking hands, but since when he saved shadow from the darkness in void he was the same annoying and cocky hedgehog like before. It made me so angry. Of course he took it more seriously, but his bahaviour still made me angry.

And always this loosing shard because the writers just wanted a 3rd season. :/

Then we got the Rouge from this wood AU... I mean... why would she not fight for her friend Thorn Rose? I thought they wanted to protect the woods together? But yeah nevermind that, she did fight after some time... -_-"

The part with this copy thing of metal sonic was awesome. Chaos Sonic was it? Yeah. It was soo cool so why did they only kept him in only one episode???

My little brother is such a big fan of metal and was soooo happy when he saw that version, but then he was so sad and so was I.

Also awesome was how Dread turned every member of his crew against sonic. I knew since the start that Dread was evil but I never expected him to lie.

(I could imagine that our original echidna hates lying over everything.

I mean: In the sonic x anime Knuckles says everything that he thinks without being afraid of having someone to disagree. Also Eggman lied to knuckles a few times so I think knuckles is tired of lies.)

But I really was annoyed how many times dread lost the shard. It reminded me how fvcked up knuckles did at guarding the master emerald sometimes. I don't blame knuckles for that btw he is my fav character, I mean it is hard to grow up completely alone knowing that your entire kind is dead, knowing that you are destined to be alone and staying at one spot.

The character which were completely perfect and well written where shadow and Amy (Every amy in the universes was perfect :D)

But... now comes the most annoying thing from all:

the end with Nine really made me swear. Of course nine had his own emotions and ect buuuut Nine already knew what Sonic wanted sooo Nine just used Sonic?

I am not mad that Nine felt that way, buuuut it made me soo fvcking angry. Like whyyy? Our normal Tails is Nine in an certain way sooo whyy end the season in that episode? They could have just made another episode where sonic makes some deep talk with Nine and then they bring the shards back.

I am not going to talk about the giant eggman titan in the last episode. It kinda seemed like the writers had no other idea then of putting a giant eggman kinda hologram thingy as the biggest enemy.

All in all, some parts were good but in the end I am still dissapointed about how it ended. And that I need to wait for another season.

Respect to the animators, storywriters and voice actors that they did it so fast, but fast isn't always good.

crash landing on you - ♾ / 10 (highly recommended, i swear you won't regret watching it, especially if you like the trope where the ml fells first and falls harder)

the uncanny counter - 10/10 (if you like something thay involves powers or supernatural with action, then this is what you might be looking for)

business proposal - 11/10 (a romcom series, an adaptation of it's manhwa series, characters are very relatable, employee and ceo relationship trope with a pinch of fake dating)

love alarm - season 1 is 99.9/10 while season 2 is 5/ 10 (ngl, i prefer s1 better than s2, and as much as i would like to spoil why, i believe you should watch it on your own to find out. if you like angst so much, then here it is)

sweet home - 100/10 (this is a thriller and suspense series, every episode hits that impact, just a heads up that s2 is also on the way, so you won't have to be annoyed at the ending of s1!)

start-up - 1000/10 (another romcom series, however this is has something to do with starting a business? i forgot the plot, but then again it's actually a good kdrama to watch, let me know if you've already fallen for the second male lead of the series 😉)

school 2015 - ♾/10 (OH TO WATCH THIS SERIES LIKE IT'S YOUR FIRST TIME TO DO SO, i highly recommend this as well, the plot is very 🤌, the second male lead deserves so much, I REPEAT HE DESERVES SO MUCH BETTER LIKE WHY DID THEY DO HIM LIKE THAT 😔)

school 2013 - 8/10 (not too bad but not too good as well, higschool romcom series!)

20th century girl - ♾/10 (THIS MOVIE, ISTG THIS MOVIE COMES SECOND BEFORE TITANIC FOR HURTING ME SO BAD, a he fell first but she fell harder trope, i suggest you prepare a couple of tissues...but overall, a really great movie! it would somehow make you realize that time is short and so can be love, so yeah let the people around you know how much you love them)

it's okay to not be okay - ♾/10 (i highly recommend this as well, there are some scenes where it can be emotional or confusing, but trust me it's really good, i'd say that it's about two people who are broken yet are also trying to love each other 🙁)

i didn’t have anything to say so i didn’t send anything 😭😭 the results are out, i did not make it but it’s okay everything happens for a reason and all that!!

and i start on feb, because of seasons and our holidays and just general school system this is the best timing. mine’s starting later than most universities here has already started, and will mostly have a very long break (normally 2-3 weeks off) for lunar new year then all off of april off for TLC new years as well which is always so fun!! last year it dragged out for a month and half because we hosted SEAgames im rambling here but i love talking about my culture hehe!!

and crazy form is actually crazy, i remember seeing if it on the MAMA stages and I’m like ??? that’s an unreleased song??? huh??? but immediately fell in love! my friend who i can never convince to get into ateez music loves it as well!!! my asks are always so long i’m so so sorryyyyy

yes!! as i've gotten a little older i've begun thinking that everything happens for a reason!! i don't believe in a higher power or anything like that, but I do think that there are paths hidden and can only be revealed by opportunities that pass us by.

GASP i would love to be able to experience lunar new year some time! it always looks so pretty!! and with good food!!! I had to look up what SEA games is and!!! that was probably so much fun to witness and be a part of? i also think it's interesting just to compare academic calendars with other countries, bc we obviously have different holidays we emphasize? a general american school year runs from late august to the middle of may, with exceptions ofc. and then for college students we get a month off from the middle of december to the middle of january.

and yea!! i've slowly been falling in love with ateez since bouncy! i've always been aware of them. they actually debuted a little after i got into kpop! and before i actually got into them i still had wave and wonderland and answer on my playlist! and i knew most of the members by name, but each ateez member has a really distinct face to me. whereas like, with zerobaseone i would get yujin and hanbin mixed up or jiwoong and yujin. and then with svt i just. would completely forget wonwoo and jun's names fjlkasd;

The 100 March Season Unforgiving I

Aight lets cut to the chase, im here to vent my frustations, leave it open to any random that may or may not skip past me a completely random person as well and their rants about something that ticked them off that day

Lets start off with this one person who decided to open their mouth and spewed some stuff that ticked me off especially in the moment the day where I have yet to have strong feelings for anything.

Like you come to this niche discord server complain about the highlights channel having low quality "this is my first time drawing" art and be such a shekel smear merchant while advertising about your own server and how OH SO GOOD IT IS AND DEFINITELY BETTER.

again lemme preface with that the niche discord server is a small place where entry-level artists (and forgive me for using such sterile and clean language because they've already got berated by some twat goat-boating on hastag-general)

Like OK artisque connosequr would you like a side of well oiled up muscular gay men with your plate of stick figures with guns or edgy mainstream content? does that fit your criteria of good art? "Oh but what about yo shi-" what about it huh? I got an art put on the highlights channel and that art was something I did on a whim, not the other arts that I have put my heart, soul, and blood from the amount of frustrated tongue biting I do, I really really couldn't give a damn about how you think my art is bad when even I myself wouldn't think its worthy of being part of highlights with my own two eyes before I even let that piece get off from my drawing board. Now its not the ego game that should be the center focus of this problem they tossed up about, its about the other guys who were just starting out and probs got stars in their eyes when their niche discord puts them on highlights (like an animation was put on that day I highly praise the effort that goes to making a difficult thing to make such type of content and no it wasn't just the funny haha two frames, it was a short little animation 2 characters some facial expressions, abit of more effort put per se.) So I think about that and I think about how it must suck to be in their shoes being "wow my niche art discord server put my work on highlights!" only for it to be called trash by an living compost pit I don't care if he draws like picasso or davinci that pretensious statement about highlights being full of bad art rubbed the hard wrong way (and compared to some artist i've seen in the highlights channel hes DEFINITELY not part of the higher ups, more like above average)

In-fact this is my 2nd time I've seen this person open their stinkhole orifice they call a mouth and I decided "you know what you're not gonna get to say that uncontested this time" I infrequently visit said niche discord server and I can only imagine how many times they come online on that niche server to berate ppl's beginner art and be an absolute smear merchant and shilling your own stupid fangirling server about a mainstream game a lot of people love. "How are they not kicked out for-" their horrid existence and ability to construct sentences without thinking for themselves or others? Its simple really, we just wanna be polite and not start up a HUGE drama about it cuz u know its a bad image and alllll uwu~~~

besides the server has a history of both terrible mods and terrible people (and I am not comfortable sharing such a history at all. I will share one particular experience though in the next post.)

In-fact after telling them for their compost pit manure of a behavior they get chummy with the server people, like? Oh so you guys have been definitely letting this garbage heap given two legs one mouth no morality or braincells what-so-ever give you this treatment and you're ok with because they preface it as "hehe its just a funny joke bruv chill tf out slayyyy yas queen~~"

You absolute bogus of a medical practitioner "laughter is the best medicine" I would have sued you on the spot for such blatant malpractice.
