Hii, who do you think is lorenzo's fav boy in s3? Madelina has a special place in his heart. Daddy's little girl🥰 but i am not sure which boy was his fav
Piero- He used to dote on piero and spent time with him until guilio came. I felt like they had a special bond n that's why piero was so hurt about guilio while his brother didn't care much
Giovanni - we didn't get much scenes n almost no affectionate ones but he did lobby to make him a cardinal at 14 and wanted him to be influential so he n piero can aid each other n hold onto their power n become more powerful by having each other's back.
Guilio-he was super affectionate n adored him as a child but he later did nothing to secure his future. Piero was the heir, Giovanni was cardinal. He loved guilio but his children will carry on his legacy so he did favour them later over guilio
hello!! This is an awesome question, thank you my love!!
Okay, so Lorenzo and his kids...that's, that's a big conversation lol, and I guess I should start this off by saying that Maddalena was 100% her parent's favorite child.
I should also say that I really don't like how the show portrayed Lorenzo as a father, it was just shitty, and I personally don't believe he would have been a shitty father. Lorenzo and all his siblings were very loved by their parents, and their grandparents. Piero and Lucrezia were both very involved parents (both in the show and historically)
Historically speaking, Maddalena was Clarice's favorite, but it was also noted that Clarice doted on all her kids, which I thought they brought through in the show which was nice. But they missed the boat with Lorenzo.
Lorenzo was also very involved with his kids, he was involved in their education but also involved in their everyday life. He would hold meetings in the gardens of the Medici Palazzo so he could hang out with his kids while he worked. There was an instance that was recorded that when Clarice and Lorenzo were away from Florence for an extended period of time, (I think they were in Rome), and Lorenzo had to go to Milan I believe on business at the last minute, and when Clarice returned to her children they started crying because Lorenzo hadn't returned with Clarice. So clearly there was a bond. Another example was when Clarice and the children were away from Florence after the Pazzi Conspiracy they stayed in the Villa di Castello I believe, but Piero wrote to his father daily asking when he would visit. So this family was close and Lorenzo was an involved father and I don't know why the show didn't show this.
So take away, historically, Lorenzo probably wasn't a shit father.
Show Lorenzo is another story. I honestly don't know who his favorite son is, my instinct is probably Piero, but Lorenzo is just crap at showing it. Piero is his firstborn, and he was very loved when he is a babe so obviously there would have to be a bond, Lorenzo just sucked at showing that, but that came back to bite him in the butt when Piero basically ends the entire Dynasty in one fellow swoop.
I should say, I do think Lorenzo loves all his kids, I just think he is shit at showing it. The Pazzi Conspiracy broke something in him that he didn't know how to fix and his family suffered because of it.
I am not sure Giovanni would have been Lorenzo's favorite? Just because we didn't see a lot of interactions between the two, and yes, Lorenzo did make sure Giovanni advanced in life and became a Cardinal, but that was more for his own personal ambition than thought for Giovanni because Giovanni wanted to be an artist. So I am not sure Giovanni would count as Lorenzo's favorite.
As for Giulio...I think Lorenzo loved Giulio, yes, and it as good of him to take Giulio in, but I don't think Lorenzo loved Giulio for Giulio. Lorenzo loved Giulio for his brother, for Giuliano. Because in a sense Lorenzo probably saw Giulio as the last thing he had linking him to Giuliano.
As kids, Giulio was probably favored over Piero for that fact, and then as they grew Lorenzo probably still thought of Piero as his favorite child, but then realized he sort screwed up that relationship and slowly began to try to rebuild that relationship.
So yeah if I had to say, I would say Piero was Lorenzo's favorite, Lorenzo just sucked at parenting!

Also, the munchkin was no mistress of poisons. That is further bs that came about because of her Florentine heritage. It was thought true on the continent of most Italians back in the day and she was no exception.

Confession
- Theres three ways she'd find out about you.
- one, you were working against her, you were working WITH her or you were one of the bunny girls, aka working under her.
- In every case of these you'd never find out anything BEFORE she straight up tells you.
- Because she basically flirts with every girl she fights against or even sees and the flirting would triple if you were one of the bunny girls.
- and again in every case of these she'd be the first one to even hint at anything becoming serious between you two.
- Which would be extremely hard to even catch onto.
- She'd be extra about the way she confesses to you, wouldn't go all out with it but wouldn't just "I love you" randomly.
- She'd have built up with it.
Relationship
- If you were working against her before then obviously you'd be pulled into the medici business, probably under Dahlia but who minds that, she'd treat you the best obviously.
- If you were just in general working with her, much wouldn't change but the fact she wants to spend more time around you.
- And if you were one of the bunny girls pretty much nothing would change.
- Dahlia's other bunny girls wouldn't really get jealous since they're all in a pretend realitionship with Dahlia already so they don't worry about it.
- She'd keep you very close to her at almost all times, she enjoys bloodshed but only when it isn't YOUR blood.
- Would get horny seeing you fight or kill anyone lol.
- Would also share her "Apple juice" with you.
- She'd definitely write you love letters even if she was with you the whole day.
- She steals you expensive jewels and other other stuff from her jobs because she thought they'd fit you well.
- Would love it if you became even more included in the medici business.
- She thinks it's more fun working if you're with her.
- Your mere presence keeps her extremely entertained, you must be interesting to have caught her eye.
- As a present, she'd give you blood red or black roses with the thorns still on them.
- Would get..very excited if you gave her a small glass jar necklace of your blood.
Break-up
- Would occur if you were high on morals.
- And if you didn't appreciate bloodshed.
- A break-up wouldn't happen if you just suddenly became boring, Dahlia takes a loong time choosing whose lucky enough for her love.
- Only reasons you two would break up are:
- 1. You have high morals (or pretty much any at all)
- 2. You weren't as "crazy" as her.
- 3. You tried to drive her out of the business.

misc greaser backstory headcanons because i'm bored and it's time for this fandom to hear my lukewarm hot takes <ब₍₍( ˃̗εू˂ )₎₎<ब
johnny and lola's fatal relationship flaws are learned from their respective sets of parents.
johnny grew up witnessing his parents' tumultuous marriage and often felt like he was walking on eggshells due to his father's possessiveness and short fuse. mrs. vincent stayed, no matter how much her husband's fits of rage scared her because she felt she had a duty to her family. her one silver lining was that at least he never laid a hand on her (no, he'd only punch the walls near her or throw dinnerware– that's not abuse, is it? was just one of the numerous feeble defenses johnny would hear from his mom.) (the one time she DID defend herself, the situation escalated and eventually landed both of johnny's parents in prison. because he was already 18 when this happened, social services did not get involved.)
lola's father cheated on her mom and as a result, she's never had any stable relationships beyond short-lived flings. ms. lombardi consequently passed her bitterness about the affair and the divorce onto her daughter; it didn't help that lola's father stopped giving a shit about her after he married his affair partner and started a family with her. witnessing her family breaking apart, her mother wrecking her life with numerous toxic flings, and the father she used to love so dearly doting on his son with his new wife had not only resulted in non-committal tendencies, but also a dislike of men that borders on misandry.
(on that, i feel like a case can be made that lola's a closeted lesbian with MAD comphet, but that's a story for another time.)
peanut's home life is nearly similar to johnny's, but what sets them apart is the fact that peanut's father– alongside his verbal abuse– outright beats him; that's where his intense napoleon complex stems from. initially, his mother was the victim of his father's rage, but the older peanut grew, the more he fought back for her. consequently, at some point, he essentially became his father's outlet for his rage. he hates losing fights, being made to feel small and weak, because, well– if he can't fight back, who'll be there to protect his mom?
norton's family is relatively more normal and maybe even more stable than the rest of his clique's, but they're– unsurprisingly– not without their own issues. i feel like most of the conflict within the williams' family stems from the clashing ideals between norton and his dad; norton's a guy who was radicalized at a young age (since he's quite well-read), and his father– a police officer– represents the authority and the system he hates so much. becoming a greaser was not only teenage rebellion, but also a way to show that he outright rejects what his father believes in; he resents him for being a sellout. officer williams is aware of this.
vance is the only son among a brood of daughters. the second eldest child, he shares a close bond with his younger sisters, but a hesitant, nearly strained relationship with his older sister. their father is absent, and their mother overworked, so both of them are parentified– even if ms. medici didn't intend for that to happen. vance's never been shy about his bisexuality, and the unorthodox way he expresses his masculinity is a source of contention for his sister. she resents how carefree he is, how arbitrary his priorities are (like his obsession with his appearance, his social standing amongst the greasers, and his various romances in bullworth). their father couldn't be the man of the house, and now vance can't even fill in that role if he tried.
as implied by some of his voicelines, hal's fatness is (not so) secretly a major source of insecurities for him. his mother truly tries to be as supportive as she can be, but his father– perhaps another alumni of bullworth, maybe even a former jock?– is especially harsh on him, his "tough love" bordering on outright verbal abuse. hal was initially sent to bullworth in order to "whip him into shape" (both figuratively and literally), and his dad hit the roof when he found out that hal decided to join the greasers instead of getting into something "worthwhile". he tries to be as confident as he's making himself seem, though his dad's comments about his body and his hobbies and his friends cut deep.
ricky was essentially raised by his older brother (a former greaser himself). their parents have never been in the picture, and they were initially raised by their hyperreligious, paranoid grandmother before ricky's brother had enough– he moved out at 18 and took ricky with him. he had to take numerous odd jobs just to support them, ultimately dropping out of his last year in bullworth and forgoing college in favor of working. despite their similar personalities and interests, this is why they often clash– ricky's brother had to sacrifice his schooling for him, and he wants nothing more than for ricky to be responsible and successful. to be the opposite of who he was.
on the other hand, lucky essentially raised his younger siblings (a sister and a brother). his mom walked out on his family when he was still a kid; consequently, his dad fell into a deep depression, was laid off from his job, and turned to alcohol and gambling. lucky had to step up to the plate and be the man of the house in his stead. he's not quite sure who he resents more: his mom, for walking out; his dad, for taking away his remaining childhood; or the system, for fucking them all up in the first place.
lefty is a latch-key kid. both of his parents may be present in his life, but it's as if they're not all that interested in their son– he doesn't quite know why, but there's the implication that he's an accident; one that forced them to have a shotgun marriage despite not being in love anymore. they provide the bare minimum for him, but not much beyond that; whether its gifts or affection. he'll claim he's given up on trying to win their love a long time ago, but he can't deny that with every new scar he earns, he wishes they'd notice. at least once. (with concern or anger, it doesn't matter anymore.)

pepper potts. blog canon. please read.
Tumblr media
ALRIGHT. Let's get into this. Let's get into the Iron Family, let's make ourselves sad at the state of Pepper Potts in current 616 canon.
I'm gonna toss this under the cut in case it gets long, I'm gonna try to give an abbreviated history to pepper; I still need to get to and read Happy's death again, cause that's really where I am starting this.
also pretty much beyond invincible iron man vol 4 where pepper meets Riri; it's all not great. it's just not good. it does not do pepper's character justice; it's sad. it's a little sad how the state of thing have been left.
This is my blog canon for Pepper, inspired from comics, and headcanons to fill in the gaps over the years
Tumblr media
PLEASE LEAVE A LIKE IF YOU READ, or leave a comment, writing these up takes time and likes encourage the mun to do more, and that the love given to this character is seen.
GENDER -> Given that I write Pepper Potts as a trans woman, she/her, and love this as it goes with Pepper's story theme of finding herself, of becoming her own woman. Especially some of the ways she takes about being Rescue, and her scrapped letter to Tony. Pepper socially comes out when she is twenty, this would be when she is working at Stark Industries, around the same year she would catch the accounting error. As I don't want to center too much of her story around transition or center around this; focus on her own canon story and the concept of trans joy, trans acceptance, etc. Over the years, she would fully medicially transition; which only contributes to the confidence and joy that Pepper has of being who she is. She is proud, she is out, publically and socially, and she has been accepted is the most important part of all this and of Pepper's gender; and that she absolutely loves dresses and skirts and heels and makeup, that she enjoys these parts of her routine that reflect the woman she is.
-
FAMILY PT 1 -> Born to sensible mother, Olivia Potts, and father, Jonathan Potts, accompanied by a two years older brother, Andrew Potts. She was always the good child, the one who did her school work and did as the family expected. When Pepper came out, it was generally something she was allowed to go. Her brother had the hardest time, her family not ever understanding or trying to understand; but they used the right pronouns, called her Virginia, and generally let that be. She's a woman and accepted that, do they call her sister and daughter? No, but Pepper never asked for that when she got out on her own and came out.
-
HIRED AT STARK -> This will be brief as most of this remains as canon. Virginia Potts would start her work at Stark Industries, at the lowest level as a receptionist. Eventually she would catch an accounting mistake made by Tony Stark himself, who would coin her nickname Pepper for her freckled complex, which lead her to being hired on a his executive assistant. Working alongside and under Tony Stark, she would often run affairs in his absence and once his secret identity as Iron Man was known, she would even act as the woman in the chair for when he was out as Iron Man, often on head set to communicate with him about business as well as provide him tactical aid on the fly.
-
TONY AND HAPPY -> While Pepper had initially been attracted to Tony Stark, pining after a date with him and would develop some feelings for the man who would become one of her friends; along came Happy Hogan hired by Tony Stark, and it was love at first fight for Happy and Pepper. It would take a lot of back and forth between Tony and Happy, with Pepper pining for Tony, Tony developing some feeling for Pepper, and Happy always having feeling for Pepper. Pepper fell for Happy and eventually they married. She had a life with Happy, but the troubles brought to their lives by Iron Man, led for Pepper to beg Happy that they quit working for Stark and started their own lives without Iron Man. This would not last as Happy could not hold down a job and plans to adopt were axed by that fact. This would put a strain on their relationship that lead to divorce; no cheating but a few affairs between the two of them with other people put a damper on rekindling attempts. Pepper and Happy would go back to working for Tony with Stark Solutions. She would be relying information for Iron Man constantly. Pepper would have a few relationships outside of Happy, including a romantic kiss with Tony which confirmed for her that they were good friends, but nothing more. Eventually, she would reconcile with Happy and they would remarry. This would re-solidify Pepper and Happy as Tony's happy married friends again.
-
2008 IIM RUN -> Typically speaking this is the core of where my Pepper starts; it's from this run. Now a widow, working for Tony Stark still because he's her only family now. It start with her starting to look at whats next, opening herself up to old feelings for Tony again; it starts with the building falling on her and sharpnel in her heart, her own RT Node. Tony is the director of Shield, until the Dark Reign event with Norman Osborn. This is when things start to shift painfully so; she goes through trying to save Tony's life, from knowing he is going brain dead and having a brief tryst with him which had real feelings and love for him, and knowing he is going to die; to rebooting him and bringing him back to life; WHY HIM. Why does he get to come back, to live, and to not remember what they could have had too. She just lost Happy and that was it.
CIVIL WAR + HAPPY'S DEATH -> The hardest thing that Pepper Potts would find herself going through was when her husband, Happy, sustained injuries from Spymaster while the first superhero Civil War was going on. The injuries were fatal, leaving Happy in a vegetative state. Pepper would urge on Tony to turn off Happy's life support, to which which at first he would say no. One of the most painful things was for that moment to have Tony refuse her the request to honor Happy's memory and let him go. Eventually, Tony would do this and Pepper barely allowed herself time to grieve before she was volunteering herself for Tony's Stark's fifty states initiative which would lead to Pepper taking on the role of Hera for The Order.
-
Tumblr media
RESCUE + RT CHEST NODE -> To start, she thinks of it as a bomb, a fear that the Repulsor Tech in chest, keeping her alive, was going to be a weapon used against her, a weapon, a ticking time bomb that could only lead to destruction. Something assigned to her, something that was not who she was. When she learns, it's not made from something rooted in blood, an ex-weapons industry; Pepper embraces it. She already felt incredible, even with that concern, but know that her RT node was not to be a bomb, to be a weapon; she let it be anything she wanted to be. It made her connected to everything, feeling the thrum of electricity of the magnets; allowed her to understand her dear friend Tony better. Pepper embraces it, the RT Node becomes part of her; something necessary to being the woman she was today, like the makeup and surgeries and coming out as a woman. THAN CAME HER SUIT, and to know how to fly, to go anywhere in the world, and be powerful and herself. When she had to give up her RT Node to save Tony's life, she did that for love of Tony, and when she asked for it back, it was for love of herself. So to present day, Pepper still has her RT node in her chest, still has her Rescue suits; as they are a part of who she is now.
-
INTERMISSION -> Tony goes to space, and leaves Pepper to her work as Resilient's CEO as well as overseeing/monitoring Tony Stark's other businesses. She meets a Marc Kumar and even finds herself engaged. The events of Iron Man (vol 5) goes as canon goes; with Marc seeking out the Mento-Intensifier Mandarian Ring; and the dissolution of his relationship with Pepper, as she explains to him that even though Stark ha treatedher badly, most of the time he didn't. (remember this part for later) -> With another relationship down, this leaves Pepper alone again in the sense of canon, for Marvel to put her on a dusty shelf; what we can take from this is the way that Pepper will start to feel defeated. Happy's dead, her tryst with Tony stings, relationship with Wyche ended by her, and than Marc turns out to hate Tony and have a whole plot against him (to point out here, another way that tony end up in the center).
-
SUPERIOR IRON MAN -> So let's get into this; this starts the penultimate fall of the friendship of Pepper and Tony. She still loves him; look at what she does, what she goes through to take down SIM, because that's not Tony; not really and she made the contingency plan with Tony years ago. Tony is her friend, someone she loves and has a long complicated history with; he was the start of family to her. Through him, she met Happy and then Rhodey, and became CEO of Resilient; and now she has to take down his nightmare. It's the beginning of the furthest drift from Tony.
FAMILY PT 2 -> Pepper's never been the closest with her family, even growing up she didn't quite know her place or what she wanted, it was when she turned eighteen, went the college her father wanted that she figured it out, it's when she started at Stark Industries. She found more family with her co-worker Happy, her employer Tony Stark and Iron Man, and in Tony's friend Rhodey. Pepper keeps minimal contact, typically only going home once a year to visit the Potts family, she feels as though with everything she has been through, as Pepper Potts assistant to Tony Stark, as one of the few to be in the know about Iron Man at the time. This goes on further when she loses her husband, Happy, who had acted as the bridge between her and the Potts family, her and the Hogan family. Even deeper as she plays her hand at hero, as Hera, and then becomes Rescue with the RT node. The first family gathering she attended after that with the Potts, she felt the outsider that she had always been, even outside of her coming out and going from who they had thought they knew to who Pepper was, Virginia "Pepper" Potts. This will further cement to HER that her family is Tony Stark, Happy Hogan, James Rhodes, and Jarvis, because they just knew and saw Pepper; they were her family, and then she lost Happy. Then things with Tony hurt more and more.
-
Tumblr media
THE YEARS THAT COME AFTER -> Rhodey's death and Tony's coma. Leaves Pepper utterly without family, beyond those she works closely with at Resilient. It leaves her alone, with no one and she's angry. She's angry about it, but mostly hurt and alone. Happy's been gone a long time, she lost their friend Rhodey, and then Tony AGAIN. WHEN Riri pops up, there's a lot of emotions that she goes through that go without saying, that go on with her having anything anyone to talk to. She finds Riri, and she sees her taking on the Iron Mantle, and it means a lot and it hurts; and then there's that fucking AI Tony that stings. Her and Tony had already began to drift for a long time, longer than when SIM happened. He's dead, and he can't rest and she can't mourn him, or her entire family. She has to move forward; but she something she likes in Riri a lot, wants the legacy to carry on. She has as much a part of this as Tony Stark ever was now, at this point? It's HERS too.
-
PREFACE TO SHADOW -> Secret Empire + Robot Revolution. I have my issues with these events a lot, Pepper doesn't really show up outside a lot after SIM. I am completely happy to exclude these from canon, but if we were looking at them as canon. She is part of the opposing Underground, providing RESCUE support. Addressing the Robot Revolution would go into THE SHADOW OF TONY STARK, but having her who has built up Resilient, which Tony has passed onto her without Stark being in the title; IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT moments for her, because it's letting the company be more hers, its letting it and outside of Stark's shadow. So for Tony to come out of his coma, create Stark Unlimited and merge all his other companies including Resilient as subsidiaries, and Marvel not give us Pepper's perspective on that; suck. It's bad. Now it's back under the Stark shadow. On top of that, for her to be the one that everyone goes to for her to get DNA from Tony's mother, is an incredible painful thing for her. I typically ignore these as canon cause Marvel did her dirty.
-
THE SHADOW OF TONY STARK -> Tony Stark has cast a shadow upon Pepper's life permanently. At times, many times, it was a shadow she was happy to be under, happy to know and walk in. HE WAS HER FRIEND, HER FAMILY. She has been there since the earliest of days, but for the long while she was just his assistant, to so many people. Maria Hill takes such offense with Pepper's capabilities cause she saw Pepper as Tony's assistant. Having her RT node being taken, to save Tony's life, when why couldn't she have just grieved her, why couldn't she and Happy be the lucky ones and Happy be alive. THE LONG DRIFT between her and Tony starts, and every year, when she gets pulled back in, it's a little further out from the last time. She gets pulled back in to save Tony, to put Tony first, and she loves him; but when will something go her way; when will someone move heaven, earth, and hell for her. Often times, Tony doesn't show her the most gratitude, he doesn't have the energy or time, immediately pulled into something. We don't see him grateful to Pepper in panels. It's always move onto the next thing, and don't look back at Pepper, don't acknowledge that she stands in his shadow. People ask her weekly, wonder, what it is between them, why they fell out because to this day; she is in Tony's shadow. Even when MJ calls her about the job, it's about Tony; who they haven't spoken much. Partly on her part, because there is pain in his shadow.
-
LOSS + ALONE -> She is the furthest from having family and friends than she has been; pushed herself out far from Tony because she can't take the pain. Jarvis, an old friend, someone who has been there longer bring her into the Lookups; but as we can assume it's Pepper; she says that her connection and relationship now is "strictly business, maybe for the best" and even going to these Lookups meeting, is painful because it's Stark tech, and she takes to him strictly business, when work forces them to have their people contact each other. It's painful to go there, because it's still in a way attached to Stark, his tech to hide their identities, and Jarvis; and it all RUBS THE WOUND RAW with Tony Stark. She doesn't even see Rhodey now that he's back. She does her work, and she goes home alone; always willing to put on her Rescue suit to help, to be pulled back in; but she doesn't have her family anymore, there's no Happy, no Rhodey, no Jarvis, no Tony. No long deep meaning friendship persevered; even though she loves them all. She and Tony barely talk, and she does miss the idea and memory of her family, still has photos of her, Tony, and Happy.
-
PRESENT DAY -> She works as a corporate giant, under Stark's shadow again, gives her all to Resilient. She has Rescue on reserves, if even an emergency needs her or anyone does. Twice a year, she does see Tony and a doctor for RT Chest Node maintenance, and for any Rescue suit maintenance; but their friendship is in tatters, and it makes her sad and she'd love to be out of Tony's shadow, to be able to talk about the Iron Family without the hole in her chest, and she does wish that she could have that again. To have her family and her friend back, but it's a lot of pain to process. She keeps an eye on the Avengers and everyone; and gets updates about Tony from MJ; but otherwise she's in her own lane, and it's lonely. Least she got visiting Jamie amd Katrina, but she doesn't get to share that, plus Jamie's grown up. Resilient is still Resilient, not Stark Resilient but she still works closely and in conjunction with Stark Unlimited. Things with Tony is business only, things with most of the super community is business only, when they need her and the Rescue suit.
JAMIE CARLSON -> So after SIM, Pepper does take time to get to know Jamie as well as his mother. This is Happy's son, after all, and a piece of him that she had back. She has a room available in all her homes for him, if he ever needs anything; he can come to her. She want as much involvement in his life as he and his mother allows. She never got to raise children with Happy; the opportunity being taken from them as the agency determined Happy's instability to not approve them. So, she would more than happy to know Jamie and tell him about his father, and get to know Katrina, Jamie's mother as well; any help they could need. It's not often that she get to be involved, but she tries to not miss anything major as long as Katrina is comfortable with her being his step-mother (in a way).

could you do headcanons about what job Gary (and the greasers) would probably end up in?
|{| Future Job HCs ~ The Greasers + Gary |}|
(i hope thats what you meant)
——————————
Johnny Vincent: || i feel like he would be secretly really good at cooking, like Hell’s Kitchen worthy cooking skills. So if he ain’t a mechanic or something he’s a master fuckin chef.
‘Peanut’ Romano: || He would be a Physical Therapist, he is all for the idea of helping others rehabilitate or even become better at staying active to help them out in a job that requires as such.
Norton Williams: || He is a construction worker, he has the build for it and everything. Besides, he loves his hammer remember?🤷‍♀️
Lefty Mancini: || He is a mixologist, he strikes me for the type to be hella good at making drinks.
Lucky De Luca: || He is a comedian. He makes jokes about this and that, tries not to get offensive or anything, pretty cool.
Hal Esposito: || He would be a biker, he would have his own badass motorcycle gang and names printed onto leather jackets and vests and shit, and listen to ZZTop or something. 🦅🦅🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🏍🏍🏍🚬🚬🚬🚬🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Lola Lombardi: || She is one of those cool hairstylists that you always gossip with and tell each other their drama and talk about the latest events. Say someone was trying to start shit with you? She will take your side all the way.
Ricky Pucino: || He is a professional drummer. (He can kick ass on that drum pedal)
Vance Medici: || bus driver 😛 jkjkjk He would be a luxury clothing designer and make (leather stuff ofc) $8000 sandals and jackets or something. (people buy them dw)👍
——————————
Gary Smith: || He would be a critic. Any type of critic, from food to clothing stores, he will leave extremely unfair reviews, and if someone he doesn’t like works at one of the places? He is leaving an even worse review on purpose. 💀

(these are also very half-assed but it took EONS to make these. Even though the majority of these people would become mechanics or car racers, I didn’t want to be basic. (that basic anyway) It’s alright though. {i was p high in the making of these I apologize lmao}))))))

Headcanons: Dino Cavallone's entire family tree - Pt. 1
Because I can and I will.
Ofc this is ALL headcanons and also I have ADHD, pls don't take this too seriously.
So, because of several conversations I had with beloved anons, I am going to do this at best of my ability, because I am very hyped.
Let's start this one. Under cut pls :D
PART ONE!!!
The Cavallone Family Ancestor
Well, all families have a start and sometimes the start is not as glorious as one might think.
The first was Bencivenni lo Caballone. He was a knight who rersponded to Pope Innocent III's call for crusades. He participated to the Fourth Crusade (1202-1204), sacked Costantinople (1204) bringing home some souvenirs, let's call the loot like that.
The Pope ofc granted him a piece of land on the Romagnan coast, a small castle, a noble title and the forgiveness for all of his sins, because that's what the Pope had for people who could not pay actual cash money to have their sins forgiven.
Also "lo Caballone" was originally just a nickname, but that is how the 60% of Italian surnames were born.
We now have several centuries of relative anonymity, during which the family formally established their name as Cavallone and expanded their influence through strategic alliances and marriages and whatnot.
Most notably, the firstborn daughter of Marquis Duccio Cavallone, Gemma, was sent to be married into the D'Este family, a most notable noble family (c.a. 1400s) and a couple of centuries later the second born son of Marquis Petronio Cavallone, Ambrogio Cavallone, became a quite influential cardinal at the Vatican (c.a. 1600s).
This of course granted the family quite the fortune, and also granted their survival amongst the various wars among who should rule the Sacred Roman Empire, who had to be Pope and who should survive Plague 1.0 (1300s) and Plague 2.0 (1600s).
But then we arrive at the 1700s.
The Austrian Wars and the birth of Cavallone the 1st
This will be the summary of the summary of the summary historically speaking.
The 1700s are interesting years for the peninsula. Italy will only fully reunite only in 1871, so there is still a long way to go. Historically speaking the Spanish who had invaded the peninsula and took possession of it started to lose their grip, also because King Charles II of Ausburg dies with no heir, thus beginning a war lasting for 13 years, they therefore sign first the Peace of Utrecht in 1713, the Treaty of Rastatt in 1714 and finally the Treaty of Aja in 1720, thus ending their domination in the peninsula.
The peninsula is not free, but becomes property to be sold and divided among the powerful dynasties. It is a mess and by 1748 the geopolitical panorama has completely changed.
This includes also the Romagnan territory, which is now half under the Medici's dominion and half under the Pope's dominion. Which means that all of the small families were very limited. However the Romagnan people were rioting and this is definitely fertile soil for ANY sort of change.
Now, up until that moment the Cavallone family has been fairly quiet, but all of this happening in their area is worrying, so Duke Domenico Cavallone has to do some damage control.
It's the period where the Illuminists really take on Italy, so there are newspapers, magazines for men and for women, cafes, places where people can debate and talk about phylosophy et cetera.
So Domenico Cavallone invests some cash money and becomes the patron and founder of several cafes and promotes several magazines and newspapers.
He also pours some other cash money in creating his own personal army, which will later become the foundation of the future bosses body of subordinates.
This is because he is secretly financing the riots against the Pope/the Medici and he is expecting an attack at any moment.
And the attack arrives.
Duke Domenico Cavallone is in the front line, ready to defend his turf. There is also his army behind him and the Pope has sent his army to quiet down, quote, "the dirt and the plebs", but the pope was expecting barely armed populace, NOT a full army and the Duke Cavallone.
Chronicles report that the Commander in charge of the Pope's army told Duke Cavallone that he would be in trouble, and that the Duke replied with a "we will talk after I win".
And the Duke won. Chronicles report that a white flame engulfed him as he charged to defend his city and his land and defeated the Pope's army. Ever since a flame mark appeared on his left arm.
In any case after the defeat the Pope retreated and left the Duke and his territory alone. The Duke however was excommunicated, and the excommunication has not yet been lifted.
None of the Cavallone has had any interest in having that lifted yet though.
Duke Domenico and his wife Bice Ricciardelli went on and prospered. They had four children who lived after infancy. The second born and first son, Alvise Cavallone, inherited the will and the assets of Duke Domenico Cavallone.
Lo and behold the family tree part 1

How about a Renaissance or Western hellcheer love story? Ohh a World War 2 hellcheer!
Okay anon I love u for this it was so fun to think about while I was bored out of my mind checking dates at work <3 these turned into less headcanons and more full on fic ideas 😭 (and I wanted to talk about all three so it's kind of long and I put it under a cut)
I know typically Renaissance is thought of as royalty and all that (like renaissance faires) so obviously I could see the typical 'Chrissy's a princess and Eddie's a knight appointed to protect her' and all that but!! What about the Italian Renaissance!!!
What if the Cunninghams are some wealthy influential (Medici-esque) family and Eddie's an artist/musician and despite his distaste for the family he accepts a commission from them because he needs the money so he finds himself painting their family portrait (since they canonically do have that portrait). He's dreading it until he sees Chrissy Cunningham for the first time and is just head over heels. He's fascinated by her because she's the perfect subject and he's kind of obsessed with trying to capture the way the sunlight reflects off of her hair. He wants to paint her smile and the way her nose scrunches when he makes a bad joke and he wants to write melodies with her laugh and sonnets about her voice. Maybe he gets tasked with painting individual portraits of the family. (Or maybe Chrissy just wants one of herself as an excuse to spend more time with him 👀) They talk and he finds out she's also very interested in art and music and not so interested in doing what her mom wants her to do (ie marry Jason). Maybe he teaches her how to paint and lets her practice and use him as a subject (and she's just as equally obsessed with capturing the warmth of his eyes and the way his personality takes up so much space and makes him seem almost larger than life). They're best friends and confidants and despite her family's disapproval they fall in love and have their happy ending where Chrissy leaves her parents and her wealth and her family name behind to be with him because he just Gets Her and Loves Chrissy For Chrissy, not because of her status and family.
And maybe that portrait Eddie painted of her, simply titled Christine (A Beauty), becomes his best known work (like. Mona Lisa levels of fame).
(Also, I could see this story being told as, like, the historical origin story of Christine (A Beauty), the tale of painter Edward Munson and how he fell in love with Christine Cunningham, or the tale of Christine Cunningham and how she left everything she'd ever known behind in pursuit of happiness.)
Changing gears, a Western au I think could involve Chrissy, in the wake of her father's passing, having to step up and taking on a larger responsibility in the family hotel. She hates it. Enter Eddie, a deputy that's been brought to Hawkins on the trail of infamous bank robber and murderer Henry Creel. Maybe Creel is staying in the Cunninghams' hotel, maybe he's targeting Chrissy and/or Max. Maybe Chrissy ends up acting as bait to help Eddie catch Creel. Maybe she goes with Eddie when he eventually leaves Hawkins to return home to his uncle. Who knows.
And then the ww2 au. This is such a unique idea!! I think it would be a soft slow burn where maybe Eddie is injured in the hospital (think demobat-adjacent wounds) and Chrissy's his nurse. Lots of soft tender moments and lots of comfort.

Okay so I often see people saying they don't like Lorenzo in Medici, he's annoying, or stupid, or he trusts to easily and allows Jacopo Pazzi to run amuck. And like, yes But also, that's kinda the point I see Lorenzo as a stark contrast to who Cosimo is in season one, and I think that is the intent. Lorenzo is idealistic, young, and sometimes stupid because he's literally a fucking kid. He came to power, historically when he was like 17 or something (not sure about the age exactly, it's been a minute since I have researched him in depth). But guys, he was a kid, Giuliano was a kid, Clarice was a kid. These were kids put in charge of an fucking empire that was built by ADULTS. I enjoy the fact that Lorenzo is shown as very idealistic and optimistic (he was historically), This dude had dreams and ideas. His reign over Florence was known as the Golden Age, and I think season 2 of Medici encapsulates that perfectly. The feeling of the Golden Age of Lorenzo and Giuliano's youth rings true, you feel it throughout the show, and it adds another very important stark contrast to season 3. Anyway, I think Lorenzo was portrayed as kinda an idiot and a himbo at times cause that was the fucking point. Thanks for reading

And a note for those of you unfamiliar with my portrayal of her I do NOT accept the popular theory stemming from Huguenot rhetoric that the St. Bartholomew's Massacre was something Catherine had planned. What she had planned was the assassination of a select group of the Huguenot leaders; that things would get out of hand and the violence would spread to the streets of Paris and beyond due to the inflamed hatred between the two religious factions was something she had not anticipated.
Catherine was first and foremost a PEACEMAKER, trying over and over again to get the Catholics and the Huguenots to come to lasting terms. She was also no Catholic zealot; it was thought by many of the other faction that she might be convinced to convert. While this never happened, she had no overriding hatred for the Huguenots that would cause her to deliberately orchestrate such overwhelming violence.
The only reasons even the select murders were planned were due to a threat made to her face against the crown and her family, as well as to trying to prevent the Huguenot leader, Coligny, from getting France entangled in a war with Spain. The true orchestrators of the massacre at large was mob mentality and a religious fervor Catherine never could manage to understand.

- Okay first of all she'd have to be close as HELL with you to even consider cuddling.
- And when it's the first time you ask her to cuddle, she's does the suspicious face Iykyk.
- Will open up to the idea if you ask her with the puppy dog eyes teehe.
- If you wanna spoon she'll be the big spoon..
- Will also dislocate her gun from her arm.
- Kinda akward trying to get comfortable with that hanging around.
- She'll definitely prefer you laying on her chest more than spooning and that stuff.
- After awhile, she'll start fully enjoying it.
- She likes a good day of comitting heinous crimes and killing people for the medici and coming back home to her favorite girl.
- She'll do that one good deed of cuddling with you after being the brutal person she is.
- She'll make sure everything is done and taken care of inside her club and job so you two can have that little moment of joy together.

Do you associate the different Westeros regions with specific historical eras/places/visuals? For example, I associate the Riverlands with the visuals of Dutch and Flemish Renaissance paintings.
Oh! This is interesting. I guess I do? I tend think of historical parallels with the people more but my assumptions about the geography is certainly important.
King’s Landing is very clearly Rome to me. Like Rodrigo Borgia’s Rome complete with Machiavelli and Savonarola. With the Lannisters, sort of generally, I think of them like one of those great Italian families and so the Medici Chapel in Florence always is coming to mind when I write about their surroundings. Interestingly, I’ve had to write a lot about Casterly Rock recently and the image on my mind is Prince Eric’s castle from The Little Mermaid.
The Starks are Irish to me. Like I’ve heard they’re based on Scottish history but…they’re Irish. I headcanon a lot of their traditions to be like pre-Christian or pre-Roman Christian traditions—roaring stones, kings elections, different attitudes about women, etc. So I tend to associate a lot of the monastic accomplishments like illumination with the North as well as crafts like painted stone, carved wood, and ironwork, similar to the really intricate designs you see in Irish tradition. Music, as well.
The Iron Islands: I’ve evolved in this but, currently, I really think of a lot of Japanese prints and paintings. Like, Hokusai. Similar, Japanese influence in their cuisine.
Highgarden is all like…very classic conceptions of what we assume chivalric knighthood was like. So…maybe Aquitaine of Eleanornof Aquitain’s childhood? I don’t have a particular art reference here??? But generally French feudal vibes…so I guess the Book of Hours gifted to the Duke du Barry.
Stormlands I inexplicably think of Central Europe. No reason, no specific associates, vibes only.
Drone is sort of generically…Northern African? Or more accurately, the North African as influenced by and influencing the Iberian Peninsula. This feels vague but it’s because Dorne world-building needs to be better. Leaving that aside, I think of architecture when I think of Dorne…and like, specifically some of the gorgeous Islamic arts—the Nasir mosque in Shiraz? The great mosque in Casablanca. Those places.
I don’t have strong associations for the Riverlands…though now I will revisit the Flemish painters because I think that’s fabulously interesting.
What are your other associations? Your knowledge is so vast, I feel like you have very good ones!!!
