For hazbin hotel au: what if alastor arrives at young age? Let say an incident which both he and his ma die at same time but because of his heritage, he got sent to hell, forced to survive in the streets until he meet Charlie and the rest of the hotel residents. How do you think will happen if he meet Lucifer?

Oh, so an AU of the AU? Sounds fun! Let me think...

Well, my first thought is that Alastor's demon form would be fairly different, since it's so closely tied into the manner in which he died. Buuuuut... I really like him as a deer demon, so I'm going to handwave that away. I'm also going to have him keep his powers associated with radio, despite him not yet having become a radio host, with the justification that listening to the radio shows together with Nicaise and making her laugh by perfectly imitating the radio man's accent were such fond memories for him they carried over to his demon form.

Ultimately, this version of Alastor still becomes the Radio Demon. But unlike the Alastor who died as an adult, nobody knows what the Radio Demon looks like. He's a mystery, known only for his radio broadcasts and striking down Overlords from the shadows. So when this little red kid with deer ears shows up on Charlie's doorstep introducing himself as the Radio Demon, she and Vaggie are understandably skeptical.

That skepticism dies when he blasts Sir Pentious's airship right out of the sky.

Alastor still brings in Niffty and Husk - two of the only people who know who the Radio Demon really is - still fixes up the building, and still acts as the facility manager. But everyone involved in the hotel keeps his identity a secret, at his request.

When Lucifer arrives at the hotel, he's in sheer disbelief that the hotel's manager is this tiny kid. Never mind Alastor frequently pointing out that he's around a hundred years old now. That doesn't really clarify anything for Lucifer who's several millennia old. He's less of a condescending jerkass to Alastor at first, seeing him as a kid, but Alastor doesn't take kindly to being treated like a child. So Alastor does what Alastor does and prods under Lucifer's armor. He starts throwing himself at Charlie, hanging off her arm, acting like a precocious kid and interrupting Lucifer's attempts to bond with her while shooting the King of Hell smug looks.

Charlie finds it a bit weird given Alastor usually acts more like an adult, but she does think it's kind of cute so she allows it. Lucifer is furious. He frequently refers to Alastor as, 'that damn brat,' and casually picks him up and teleports him to other rooms of the hotel for 'a time out' and generally treats Alastor like he's a nuisance, not a member of the hotel staff.

And then... Alastor's parentage comes out.

Lucifer is just as awkward with the childlike version of Alastor as he is with the version who died as an adult. That awkwardness just manifests differently. He keeps trying to make amends by treating Alastor as though he's an actual kid, lavishing him with gifts, inviting him on trips, so on and so forth. Alastor really doesn't think he should have to decline a trip to Lu Lu World more than once. Charlie tries to step in on his behalf, but she's not so great at dealing with Lucifer's awkwardness either.

One of the most insulting gifts is a pet, similar to Razzle and Dazzle, who is supposed to keep Alastor safe.

Alastor explodes.

He died when he was ten and he's been keeping himself safe ever since then, thank you very much! He was strong enough and clever enough to become one of the most feared Overlords in the Pentagram, all without ever showing his face once! And it's been over a hundred years since then! If Lucifer wanted to be his dad, he's about a century too late!

Unfortunately, one of the downsides of being stuck in a child's body is that sometimes his adult emotions are too big for it. All the anger and frustration comes out as tears, which only makes Alastor that much angrier. Lucifer tries to offer comfort, to pull Alastor into a hug, but Alastor melts into the shadows before Lucifer can even touch him.

This has been like an AU idea stuck in my head for years now. I needed to force it outta my system a bit before it kept eating at me. ;;;

The only people in this AU who just kinda takes someone's position rather cleanly is Neku as Nate and probably Beat taking Buck's place (I feel like that'd fit fine). The others are like a hodgepodge of characters. ;;;

Examples of more hodgepodge roles is Joshua being a mix of Lucas and Whisper? Him taking Lucas' role is funnily fitting to me. Both can be found earlier in the plot before they're properly introduced. Both hunted down by a guy who wants their position and who are tied to altered mobs (taboo noise/white yokai). Neither seemingly wanting to keep that position anyways. Neither are human, but neither can be really separated from their humanity. Also I think it's funny to put a guy with Jesus imagery in the position of the guy named after Lucifer.

Shiki is more of her own thing tbh? I'd mostly be snatching Nate/Hailey's interactions with jibanyan/usapyon. Initially I wanted Shiki to be the one to interact with jibanyan the most because man... if I had a nickle for every character I know whose self worth was crushed by the misinterpreted words of an aspiring fashion designer they admired before they died I'd have 2 nickles. So why use originyan in place of jibanyan? I think it'd be neat if Shiki eventually gets around to dying originyan in her own colors. In the meantime, I think it'd be funny if originyan just snatches Mr.Mew to posses from time to time.

The way this AU got shot into my head was because of a little funny thing that happened in my old phone gallery years ago. And then it haunted me ever since, never letting me know peace. OTL

Andgsjjakaja that’s crazy honestly, you have no idea how excited and happy that makes me to know someone also thinks it’s fascinating.

I haven’t thought about it much since September but the last few days I started thinking about it again and how I do really want to work on it and make it an actual thing. Yesterday just made it super clear to me that yeah I should do this.

So it probably will be a thing? At some point. I just really want to figure out the plot because it kind of just goes up to -they meet Chip- and that’s about it, and I do want there to be more. I just need to figure it out. There’s a lot left to be figured out, which might be me severely overthinking things, but if I commit to it I want to do this right and have a plan for it. Because I genuinely think it’s a neat au that I really want to explore further.

But yeah. Hopefully, you can expect more to come. <3

I know I've done like, a general caster chronicles polin au but I feel like they would absolutely fuck as Lena and Ethan.

Like Penelope being so scared of herself? Having these powers that other people can seemingly sense, that immediately get her othered everywhere she goes? That she has little to no control over, wanting to be normal but being utterly incapable of it? Knowing during her birthday shes going dark or light and she doesn't get a say, feeling like shes already dark?

Colin who just wants to leave, who can't stand to be here but has to finish school. With a map full of places he wants to go and a shoe box full of college brochures because anyway away from here where it feels like hes drowning sounds amazing.

The shadow songs? The locket visions? The ancestors that were in love but didn't get a happy ending?? Them being able to kelt[which as a mortal he shouldn't be able to]? Them not really being able to touch???

Some snippets into Donnie's relationship to his brothers in the Separated AU

So after having figured out that Donnie is in fact their Long Lost Brother, the Drax Trio obviously want him back, and while Donnie is initially excited to find out that he has a bunch of siblings, he's less excited to find out that they're a bit, uh, evil. And they keep insulting April!! How dare they!!! Not to mention, he already has a dad, he doesn't need a new one! So no, Donnie isn't planning on just leaving his current family behind for this new one, and his brothers react to this in various different ways.

As much as Mikey wants Donnie back, Dr. Feelings understands that this is quite the adjustment for Donnie and that he may need some time to come to terms with the fact that he actually belongs with them and not with the humans. Mikey doesn't wanna force his brother to reunite with them, so instead he tries to convince Donnie to come home willingly through various ways. I mentioned this in an earlier post, but AU Mikey is essentially trying to give Donnie a redemption arc like Canon Mikey did with Draxum

Raph, however, sees Donnie and immedietly goes full Protective Big Brother Mode. He thinks the best course of action is to "forcefully rescue" (kidnap) him and and then convince him to stay and be apart of their family. He's can't help catastrophizing about all the way his baby brother is definitely being mistreated by Lou Jitsu and April and all the other evil humans oh NO they have to SAVE HIM!! The only reason he doesn't is because no one else in the Draxum family thinks it's a good idea

And then Leo. I'll go more into detail about Leo's character in this AU at a later dat cuz hhhhhhh but basically, he's still dealing with pretty intense Middle Child Syndrome and the LAST thing he need is another middle child joining the family! Why are all his family members so obsessed with getting Donnie back anyway? He's already clearly chosen the human side so why waste their time on him! .....Now that's not entirely the whole truth, he's kinda ecstatic when he first meets Donnie, except Donnie doesn't seem to care about them any, which... ouch.

Another way to describe their dynamic would be similar to their canon dynamic, a lot of friendly bickering.... except they don't really know each other and are also enemies here so like.... UNfriendly bickering.... which is just bickering lol. They fight a lot, is what I'm getting at.

Anyway you know the family dinner scene with Draxum in season 2 of the show? Yeah, Mikey tries that tactic here too. Like I said, Mikey wants to be patient with Donnie, but he does eventually get a bit tired of Donnie acting so hostile all the time so he starts organizing hangouts for the four of them (attendence is mandatory!)

And poor Donnie, this whole situation is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster for him, as you might imagine. Reuniting with your secret lost family is fun for all of five seconds before you find out that they're actually kinda messed up uh oh. A big reason why Donnie acts so hostile towards his brothers is because it's easier for him to just dismiss them as mere enemies that he feels no attatchment to. He's basically being made to pick between this new family and his old one is Not Fun.
