My Flaming Hot Cheeto Take of the Day:
Samus Aran is 6' 3" (75 in., 190.5 cm) and 198 lbs (89.8 kg) OUTSIDE of her Power Suit, as dictated by the Super Metroid Nintendo Player's Guide. Other M tried to "give her personality (*coigh*makeheratinyscaredwomanwithadaddycomplexandneedsaman*cough*)" and in doing so made her short, even in her Power Suit.
She got Chozo DNA spliced to her so she could live on Zebes without issue. Have you SEEN how tall those freaking birdfolk are? And you think you can just tell me Samus "I kill Ridley for a warm-up" motherfucking Aran is five foot six or less??? (Don't get me wrong, I know and have been in the presence of women who were five foot even and could wreck anyone's shit, but that is a whole other discussion).
I have seen the people who misread this height and weight as in-suit metrics, the guide CLEARLY STATES these are her stats out of her Power Suit.
Now we just need to get artists to draw her with actual muscle definition in her arms more often, and we're gucci.
TL;DR - Samus Aran is a tol-ass powerhouse out of her armor, and Other M's misguided attempts to feminize and un-badass her have damaged her reputation and image. She is an Amazonian badass with a heart of gold and should be treated as such.

#I just realized that I have not provided an update about the Boy recently#we’ve been talking pretty consistently since the date(?) and that’s been good?#he’s made no romantic overtures or anything which I suppose could be because he’s waiting until I’m not in another country#which is perfectly fine with me#I just don’t know if I like him or not or if he’s just easy to talk to or if I’m trying to delude myself into thinking I like him because I#want a boyfriend or if I’m being really really silly and just need to stop freaking out!#like I prayed about this boy and then he asked me out like I feel like that makes it pretty obvious I should at least see where this goes#but I’m scared 😅#also did I mention that we became friends as kids because of professor Layton? no joke#I was playing unwound future and he came up and introduced himself and asked what I was playing and we played right up to the end of it#together—and then when I saw him again I didn’t figure he’d remember (I was nine and he was eight) but he ended up going ‘hey you remember#that game we played together as kids? professor Layton? did you hear it’s getting a sequel?’#like not only did he remember that but he remembered the game BY NAME and even remembered one specific puzzle we were stuck on for ages#(it’s that one elevator puzzle near the end if any of you were curious)#anyway he’s trying to convince me to play hollow knight and I will attempt to oblige (although this is not my normal style of game lol)

#I have not slept much and I am still very tired#but one of the cats decided he needs to do a very stinky poop and it was so bad that it woke me#well also the sprinting through the room (including over the bed in which I was sleeping) back and forth for about thirty minutes#but that wasn't too bad. the smell is much worse. have already cleaned the litter box and it is still smelly. 🤢#had to light a candle so now they're seeing a candle for the first time 😅 Freddie is fascinated#very adorable actually lol#I just hope. it will stop smelling soon. or I will have to come up with a reason to leave this room

The workout I've been managing to do the last three times takes me about 20 minutes and I'm honestly really happy that I can complete that because that's a lot for me.
I think my next goal is going to be to do that workout twice a day so I'll get a total of 40 minutes everyday which brings me infinitely closer to my 1 hour a day goal :D
I'll still have to see how it effects my body though because even with the amount of trial and error I've already been going through for years to find out what exercises I can and can't do with my ehlers danlos, it's still really unclear to me what's hurting me and what's helping
#im focusing on ab workouts with minimal range of motion atm#because that strengthens my core which should theoretically strengthen/stabilize everything else in turn#since your core is your core its like the focal point of stability. probably more so your back than your abs#but im hoping my back gets strong enough to do back exercises along the way (it isnt right now 😅)#i think the biggest problems im facing right now are 1) muscle spasms after i exercise#2) injury during exercise (its VERY hard for me to control and im not even sure what specific injuries are happening)#im not conscious of how everything in my body feels- only the worst 2 or 3 sensations get through to my awareness-#so if something is hurting me i often dont know. and because of that i also dont know what pain means STOP and what doesnt#theres also my problems with balance and proprioception so like. even if i do know a movement is wrong and know where i need to adjust to#(which is rare but still) i often hurt myself trying to fix it because i dont know where my body parts are essentially#its a real pain in the ass (or a pain in my legs. lol kinda hard to tell)#theres was a third problem too but i forgot 😅 ill probably talk about it later when i remember

Come one, come all, it's happenin' again — her refusing to think Sam is dead, even seeing it, then fighting Rourke for him, and ending up trapped anyway. The King (who killed her family) facing her again, and off to Endovier (pried from her freedom or even a chance). Back to the King to be his butcher, still chased by monsters. Running through the castle to save Chaol from a fate she is screaming to her fear is not true (not again) only to find the letter and go cold & off to slaughter for him again. Running for Nehemia because “this time she would be fast enough”. The look in Rowan’s eyes as he turns to tell her & she begs him not to but Endovier’s people (her people) were slaughtered. “Ellywe is burning”… That crippling ache & fear & rightful paranoia; death always too few steps behind her. The “fate” for her by Elena, Deanna, & Mala… the lock, the key; the love, the losses.

my gf is away for the next 5 days and it's only been 5 hours since she left and I've already reorganized and tidied everything in the house and also gave myself a haircut. only god knows what will happen next
#talking tag#the really nice thing about adult life#is that if we clean pretty regularly you can clean random shit more often#growing up things like sweeping mopping wiping down surfaces etc were done very infrequently#so it took everything to just like clean a bathroom and sweep bc everything was so gross#so now that my house is nice and clean regularly then I can clean something random once a week or so#today I reorganized 2 closets the fridge and pantry#also some counter space and wiped things down#I need to stop tho 😅 bc I did I lot of cleaning yesterday too (involved moving furniture)#so my body is. pretty sore and tired lol#now I just have to figure out how to fill the next few days.....
