At this point, gender nonconformity is about what the person says their experience is.
If a woman with a beard or a man with lipstick and a mustache says they're gender nonconforming, then they are! If a woman with short hair or a man with long hair says they aren't, they aren't! And that's not even getting into the awesome nonbinary, abinary, genderqueer, intersex, and general genderfuckery that may both be and not be conforming.
So much of what is even considered gender conforming or gender nonconforming is based on a world of exclusion. When we start defining one's conformity with whether they fit into white cishetero perisex standards or not, we play into the idea that there's only a very narrow window of what is considered worthy of time and thought.
#gender nonconformity#gnc#queer#like. for instance a native man who keeps long hair might be considered GNC by white standards but for him it's absolutely not nonconformit#there's an aspect of white supremacy that silences everything else while saying that other culture's silence is indicative of whiteness...#...being 'correct' or 'moral' or 'neutral'#and as somebody who's trans and last i checked white i have my own thoughts from my own experiences#like how i don't consider myself to really be a GNC man. i'm just. man+#i'm a weird concoction of weird soup that tastes like a man but if it were Wrong#and i just don't see that as not conforming to manhood like it is seperate. i see it as irrevocably linked TO manhood#it is others who have excluded and exiled me from manhood because of *their* understanding of me and how i 'fit in' in cissexism#while i will never ever say i know what it's like to not be white i will say these conversations that PoC have started have been INVALUABLE#i am forever grateful to have been extended the patience and faith to listen in on the experiences of people...#...who are racialized in terms of gender and how they do/don't 'fit in' with often white supremacist views on gender/dynamics#may have made a post like this years back but. eh. arrest me officer i will not back down#i've been more and more 'gnc' as i go into my transition and i don't see it as nonconformity but as an outlet for my masculinity#which is why i'm not insecure about my crafts and creations. because it is coming from a male whether or not it's considered 'manly'#i have little to *no place* in cissexist society so why should i put any stakes into if they ~accept~ me#made this post while jamming out to skyrim's tavern OST (paused my game to write this)#why the HELL does the skyrim tavern music have to go SO HARD. i NEED to slam down BARRELS of mead while listening to this istg#i don't even LIKE honey so i haven't tried mead but. for skyrim i would.

Is the SLARPG ost free use or would I need to receive express permission from you to use it in a video for example?
the short answer is SLARPG OST is free to use so long as you provide credit, and you don't need to ask for my permission first!
the slightly longer answer is that SLARPG OST is published under the following creative commons license:
Tumblr media
there are only three stipulations with this license!
give appropriate credit to me by name (beatrix quinn), unless it is one of the following tracks:
"melody's plan to get super ripped" (track 5): credit devi mccallion OR blacksquares "you'd think our flag would be green" and "greenridge theme but 37% softer" (tracks 6 and 9): credit beatrix quinn and thom wall "dissected program" (track 60): credit decibelle
(i prefer if when crediting me you also link to my website or blog, as well as to the SLARPG website, but that's not a specific stipulation for this license and you're not gonna be in any trouble if you don't.)
the work must not be commercial in nature. NOTE: i put this stipulation in place mainly to protect my work from opportunism and abuses by corporate entities. it does NOT mean you're not allowed to, for example, monetize a youtube video that analyzes the music or has it playing in the background, or sell a remix (with proper credit) on bandcamp! by all means, so long as whatever you're making is transformative in some way and not a straight-up reupload without any alteration or commentary, and you want to monetize that, you have my blessing. if you're not sure about a specific use case, feel free to contact me!
the work must also be published under the same creative commons license (BY-NC-SA). once again, this is mainly to protect my work from other entities swooping in and claiming copyright for it. it does not mean you have to license your remix, commentary, analysis, or video that just happens to use SLARPG OST as background music under the same creative commons license if that's not your jam. (though it would be incredibly based if you did.)
that's basically it! if you have any questions, feel free to follow up. otherwise, go nuts. :)

On May 21, 1998, the first soundtrack (ost) for the popular anime series "Cowboy Bebop" was released. One of the standouts of the series was the jazz inspired music. The show would kick off with these words, "I think it's time we blow this scene. Get everybody and the stuff together. Okay, three, two, one let's jam," and then launch into the driving theme "Tank!" The theme was even used by the figure skater Kevin Reynolds, dressed as the show's lead Spike Spiegel, in one of his short programs. Most of the music was performed by composer Yoko Kanno's band "Seatbelts" that she put together for the show. The first album contained the tracks "Tank! (opening theme)", "Rush", "Spokey Dokey", "Bad Dog No Biscuits", "Cat Blues", "Cosmos", "Space Lion", "Waltz for Zizi", "Piano Black", "Pot City", "Too Good Too Bad", "Car24", "The Egg and I", "Felt Tip Pen", "Rain (lyrics by Tim Jensen and performed by Steve Conte)", "Digging My Potato", and "Memory - music box". ("Cowboy Bebop OST", Music, Event)

when you get this you have to answer with 5 of ur fav songs and then tag your mutuals to do the same :) (no pressure <;3)
Tagged by @my-rose-tinted-glasses thank you friend💕
I am absolutely terrible at choosing favourites so what I'll do is put the 5 latest songs I've added to my favourites playlist (which is 300 songs long, downloaded permanently on my phone, and I listen to it every time I leave the house to commute, grocery shop, etc. so they get repeated a LOT):
youtube
Jeff Satur's latest single, Ghost/ ซ่อน (ไม่) หา [hide (not) seek], with it's excellent MV that's a whole emotional rollercoaster
youtube
Barcode, No More Dream/ไม่อยากจะฝันดี [I don't want good dreams], OST from Dead Friend Forever
youtube
Dean Fujioka, History Maker, Theme song for Yuri!!! on Ice [I got back in my Yuri!!! on Ice soundtrack feelings lately and as a result this got put back on my favourites playlist lol]
youtube
LazyLoxy, Shadow/เงา, OST from Shadow [the back half of the show was a disappointment but this song is still a jam]
youtube
P1Harmony (피원하모니), Fall In Love Again [sorry for the sound quality of this video but it's the little penguin-walk-wiggle dance moves in the chorus that got me obsessed with this song tbh so it felt disingenuous to link the actual video. OB.SESSED.]
tagging some folks at random: @wen-kexing-apologist @hyeoni-comb @benkaaoi @bengiyo @thegalwhorants @visualtaehyun @lurkingshan @isaksbestpillow as well as @troubled-mind even though I know you've already done it lol as always no pressure at all! 💕

every time someone mentions celeste or i watch someone play celeste or i play celeste i am just reminded of how much of a masterpiece the game is. like... i just. every little bit of it is perfect, from the major stuff like yknow, music, character writing, and wonderful pixel art, the great level design (!!! really great !!!) to the smaller things like sound effects/jingles... visual effects like squishysquishy madeline.. and like, the whole "mountain as a metaphor for stresses and anxiety" i dont think can ever be captured in as perfect of a way as celeste does it (long post, i figured this needs a Keep Reading?)
like, i feel like not only does the music set the tone and mood alongside the writing, but the level design works in tandem with it so well too. the absolute atmosphere of reflections always catches me off guard, like... confession: i still can't really relate to the identity aspects of it, though i can very clearly see them in celeste. but as someone who has experienced a lot of anxiety in life, i can relate so heavily to it all, and... just, the way the music sets the tone, especially in places like chapter 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7. (and of COURSE 9 but i could make a separate post on ch9) why not ch4? well, i think 4 is just a nice solid break after the intensity of chapter 3, which is refreshing. it stands out, but in a nice way. i really, really find that the game can just. bring out FEELINGS in me more than any other game can. i mean okay, games can make me sad, or put a smile on my face, but theres more... complex feelings, that i can barely put words to, that i feel from the music, like after you've just fallen in reflections. the ... hopelessness, almost despair, with a touch of ominousness, and... questioning, almost, of if anything was worth it. the hopefulness of the summit climb music, the uncomfortable feeling of the mirror temple music when you're in the mirror that feels like the musical equivalent of bugs crawling all over you, slowly turning into just. lost, quiet, helplessness and like. god. im not a masterful musical-analysis-person but. i FEEL like its fair to say that the entirety of the farewell ost really feels like its telling a story, one of... so many different emotions, which is so fitting, considering how complex the feeling of saying farewell can be. i. genuinely cant put to words the way that tracks like reflections and most of farewell make me feel, because singular emotions dont seem to be fitting descriptions. and i feel like no gimmick in levels ever stays for too long without introducing a new one or new combination of gimmicks. its a game where i CAN indeed be proud of my death count, knowing that it means im learning, because. death isnt frustrating and.... playing mods, ive realized even more about how unique the level design can be... some levels are more about understanding rooms and doing things in the correct order, some are about precision, and yet... it feels like the best levels... are somehow designed in a way that even the most complex rooms can just. guide you through them, like you're doing a duet with the level itself, as objects fall into place for later, etc. (midnight monsoon from strawberry jam is a good example) theres just so much greatness in celeste i know i spent like half the post on the music, but i could also spend that much time talking about how perfect the level design and difficulty curve is. the game feels like it naturally teaches you how to get better at it, without ever getting too frustrating. im not saying there isnt spikes in the difficulty the first time through, but ill say those spikes feel like they make sense, and they... well, the game does good at training you and then putting you to the test. it does well at teaching you without saying much. at most, a crow will say "press x to dash here!"
and honestly? i still feel like im hitting post too early here. i... love the game so much, and i cant put it into super coherent words. i feel like i. can never truly capture how much i love it. some games just do that to you. maybe i can capture how much i love it, but not... how much of a masterpiece it is. like yes, okay, i love it, but. its also... so much more than just a Good Game. I... think I'll hit post. maybe one day, ill write my thoughts on the game in a more coherent fashion, but. i think i get my message across here :P (it makes me almost kinda. frustrated. when i cant fully get whats on my mind down in words. like i KNOW theres more... that i cant quite pull outta my brain rn)

It is done!
I've finally completed many month (maybe even over a year) mission of listening to all the zelda OSTs in release order (now it did take ages cuz i would spend forever between each ost and the longer ones would take so long to get through)
I compiled all my favorite tracks into one massive playlist, as well as covers that i like!
Now i am going to go over each ost and say my thoughts on them! Ill also be mentioning one or two tracks from each game that were really notable for me
(I didn't listen to Twilight princess or Spirit tracks because i dont want spoilers for when i play them)
The legend of Zelda:
The ost for this game is 9 mins long, drastic difference to totk with many MANY hours of music
Obviously a classic, the overworld theme. I really like the "game over" theme, its nice but the ringing of the NES boops hurts my ears so much
Adventure of Link:
I really like the final dungeon theme and the battle theme, so good to just jam to
A Link to the past:
Not much to say here, it set a bunch of classics, dark world theme is super good though and the great fairy fountain theme will always be welcome whenever i hear it, either as the great fairy or as the title screen (tbh i prefer it more as the title screen theme) and the title screen theme! When that bursts out i wanna scream, It fills me with so much nostalgia for this series as a whole
Link's awakening:
Now this one is difficult, because this game is my favorite game out of the games i haven't played just plot wise, but for some reason listening to the music was just super tiring for no reason. Now i was listening to the gameboy version but i tried the swith version and it was also tiring and tedious to listen to?? Im going to go through the switch version ost at some point in time.
You can never go wrong with tal tal hights though, and the ballad of the windfish is just 😭
Ocarina of time:
Im afraid to say anything on it because of the fans of it XD i did play a tiny bit of the game but got to Zora's domain as a child and stopped
Obviously it has a great soundtrack, it has a ton more classics like gerudo valley and such. I like Sheik's theme. The fire temple i am aware is controversial and i think that's the reason it makes me so unnerved when i listen to either version of it
My absolute favorite though is Song of storms (or windmill hut). The first time i heard it, it just stuck with me and i am taken in by it, it luls me, its like magic, im enraptured by it. I don't know what it is about this 20 second theme but i can listen to this on repeat for hours, its one of the first things i learned on piano, when i played the game i just stood in the windmil hut for ages. Such a good track...
Majora's mask:
SUCH an earie ost! I have been wanting to play this game forever. The vibes the ost is just perfect for this game. Clock town is obviously good and its cool how it gets more and more frantic as time goes on, you really feel like time is running out. Overall i think the whole soundtrack does amazingly at embodying this idea.
Oracle of Ages and Seasons:
The two tracks are very similar rhat i can't eeally do these two games separately. For some reason i have a bias towards seasons despite not playing either or really knowing the story??
I love that seasons has song of storms (for some reason), skull pirate's escape is good (oos), ambi's place (ooa) noice, Nayru's song is so nice, and i adore the "Zelda awakens" theme that's in both of them
I love how the tracks for these went back to the boopy style, it makes the themes just has a certain feel that i cannot put words to that feels so right. I have the feeling that when i play these games im going to have a great time with them
Wind waker:
Tbh, not for me, the style of the music is just not the kind of thing i like. Doesnt mean it doesnt have really good tracks though!! Cannot go wrong with dragon roost and i do like a track that i cannot remember the name of (but tbh that is just mostly because i really like the beat) and the Great Sea sailing theme does sound so freeing, you can feel the wind in your hair with that track. Its just that the rest of the music style is just not something i dig so much, its just a personal opinion.
Four swords:
I forgot about this game, and could not recall the ost at all. Had to open sime tracks again to listen to and tbh all i can say is... meh? The ost isn't too great... gotta give it credit for it's version of the overworld theme thoug, possibly one of the better different renditions?
Minish cap:
A cute little game, dont remember much of the soundtrack but i have quite a few saved from it so it must count for something, and i really like the "story" theme whenever i hear it and Mt. Crenel is okay
Phantom hourglass:
Again, it has a similar style to wind waker and i didn't really like it. Linebeck's theme though, what a wonderful character! ("Return of the Ocean King" is also decent)
Spirit tracks:
I did not listen to this soundtrack but the ost is just *chefs kiss* from the ones ive heard. The tracks "the sacred duet" and "battle with king Malladus" are the tracks that made me desperately want to play this game and i am still longing to play it because of these two tracks. I love how throughout the Malladus battle theme there is the constant chugging of the train on the track. I have no doupt that the rest of the ost will be this amazing. (The title theme is perfect, you really feel like you are on a racing train) ive since listened to "in the fields" and ooooooh i love ittttt i so cannot wait to play this game!
Skyward sword:
Man you KNOW i can ramble about this forever. My favorite Zelda game! I cannot put into words how much this game's ost makes me feel all of the emotions in the world, i can only list a few tracks that make me feel so much oooough
Ballad of the goddess (obviously), Romance in the air makes me all fluttery and happy, skyloft theme always feels like home, any version of fi's theme puts me in tears, Groose's theme he is such a silly guy, the loftwing flying theme is so nostalgic, Ghirahim's theme is so menacing, all the Lanayru tracks have such a certain zen feel, silent realm theme's have such a frantic echoey empty perfect feel to them which fit so well, and the guardians awaken theme will make me have a heart attack, and the song of the hero has so many feelings ive talked about before, so much that this track alone made me make a painting for the scene.
This game just stepped into another feel of zelda music with the orchestra, and it captures the grandios of this big, timeline setting adventure so amazingly. I cannot get enough of this game. Arguably one of the best Zelda OSTs in my opinion.
A Link between worlds:
Such a good ost in this game. Dunno what i can say apart for it is one of the better ost's in the series for some tracks alone. Ravio's theme, Hilda's theme, Yuga's theme, Lorule overworld, all the milkbar tracks (the fact that there is also ballad of the godess in there makes me so happy as well), so much of the game's ost is so good!
Triforce heroes:
Such a surprisingly great ost for a game that sounds so much like a fever dream. The main theme?!?!? The woodlands?!?!?!?!? I cannot stop listening to these two such a bop, go listen to them!
Breath of the wild:
Botw has no music???? What the heck???
The tracks are so good! Even all the ambient piano flourishes! It fits the atmosphere so well, but you've probably heared people saying all this before so onto some of my favorite tracks
All the champion's themes fit each one so well, main theme cannot not be good, i lobe how Tarrey Town's theme builds up with each character's home town. The divine beast themes are really cool sounding. Parasailing minigame theme is so fun! Guardian theme will also give me a heart attack, the memory get jingle, i miss Kass and his music so much, Korok forest is so :D, HYRULE CASTLE IS SO GOOD OH MY i love the marching feel. Dark. Beast. Ganon. THIS THEME IS CRAZY BRO that piano!??!!?? All the everything going together?!??!!? This fight may be a victory lap and super easy but it sure as hell has some fire music!!!
Tears of the kingdom:
I finally finished this ost today. It reuses a lot from botw, and tbh it is a little dissapointing how none of the village themes changed even if it does feel safe and familiar, and the surface is largely the exact same even though it is where we spend so much of our time.
There are obviously amazing tracks original to this game though. The main theme was so amazing to hear in full after so long of waiting! So was the prologue theme ("poor Hyrule, for Link has found the body" remember that???) All the dungeon themes have me in awe alongside the sage themes. Each one just fills me with so much ough. The dungeons and their themes were definatly a massive step up from the previous game. I ranked all the sage themes before in another post and go deeper into each one. Link humming while cooking is so cute! The big "BWAAA" when diving into the depths feels so cool and creepy. One of my favorite details is that in the forgotten temple, next to the goddess statue you can hear a broken up version of Fi's theme which im so happy for the sksw ref! It also supports my favorite hc that the forgotten temple is the sealed grounds from sksw! (As well as the reward you get fron that quest but we aren't talking abiut that)
!!!!End spoilers next!!!!!
In the lead up to the final dive into ganondorf's army, the track reminds me of Skyrim and it really does not fit in Zelda. I feel like they shouldn't have used that track. Ganondorf's fight theme is so cool, how at first it is quiet to just hear you two dueling in an echoey room and them builds up. AND HOW CAN YOU FORGET THE FINAL FALL?!?!?!? Such a PERFECT END its amazing how is blends so smoothly to create the perfect scene, all your emotions building up to the end!!! Such a perfect ending to the game. All the music in the end sequence in the Hyrule castle chasm really does do an amazing job of dialing up and down the tension and emotions at the right moments and building up everything until the very end when the credits start rolling.
Overall the ost is great considering all the new tracks!
So that is all the games (other than tp and st)!
Now on to all of the non-cannon games! 🥲

Tutoriel Bendy Props (Part 2 )
Hello and welcome ( back ) onto this ongoing series of BATIM props tutorial. Today, we’ll make the radio ! And a working one.
This time, Orion was a big helper. He deisgned the patterns, took all the measurements and worked out a way for that radio to swing !
This tutorial will only cover the radio because the process is kinda different from the other props ( that you can find here ), we took extra time and care because we DO wanna listen to Sammy Jam on loop. Best OST, can’t change my mind.
Tumblr media
So, you’ll need :
EVA Foam, 5, 7 and 10mm ( or you can use cardboard. Like really, don’t feel pressured into buying those pricey materials if it’s JUST for the radio. Go ham on empty amazon packages and have fun. )
Foam Clay & Kwik Seal, those two are to buy only if you’re using EVA foam. They’re meant to seal the irregularities in foam.
Contact Cement & Hot Glue. Same here, Contact Cement is hardcore glue and isn’t that useful for cardboard, so use Hot Glue instead ! If you use extra-strong glue ( the ones in tiny packages ), be really careful not to put any on your skin ( it burns like hell ).
Yellow Ochre & Black acrylic paint
Cutter & Rotary Tool
little pieces of wood ( like lollipop sticks. )
Snap buttons
Strap ( anything from a rigid piece of cloth to leather is good for what we’re doing here. )
Hinge ( take it from a small box you don’t use anymore. oh, and maybe a screwdriver. )
a mini speaker ! the only thing you’re supposed to buy for the craft. Purchase the cheapest speaker you can find, since low quality speakers perfectly replicate the “no bass” feel of old radios. :)
If you’re looking for the cosplay materials we talked about, visit CosplayShop ( especially if you’re from Europe since they’re Belgian ), but don’t forget, you can use cardboard !
Step 1 : The pattern
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first thing to do is figuring out the pattern. If you already have your Bluetooth speaker, take it in account for the overall size of the radio.
You don’t need to understand all that complicated stuff, Orion figured it out for you.
Tumblr media
Sorry for the shaky hand, I did it with my PC’s trackpad.
Step 2 : Cut the foam around your pattern.
The face and back sides will be cut in 0,7mm EVA Foam ( High Density ) ; then you cut the grill cloth in thinner foam, or using a real cloth. It’s important that part stays thin, for the sound to come out of it.
Above, you also have the pattern for the relief, that I also cut in 0,5mm Foam. Use a cutter for this !
The buttons are just two cylinders. Since they don’t need to be working, they’re pretty simple to make. Just make sure you don’t use a material that’s too thick, else it’ll be hard to bend.
Tumblr media
The depth of the radio is just a 10cm wide piece of material, cut to the right size, that’ll vary with the perimeter of your own radio : don’t bother with the calculus, just test and cut a bit more each time until you got the right size.
After everything is cut nicely, you have to glue it with hot glue or contact cement. For perfect seams, I recommend you sand it gently before filling the holes with Foam Clay or Kwik Seal.
Now that your radio is in 3D, you have to make the base ! Use rigid, thicker foam / cardboard, or double it and stick it together. There should be around a centimetre between the edge of the base and the edge of the radio.
Now, don’t glue it if you wanna have access to the speaker inside. Screw and / or glue the hinge in order to open it. Place the hinge on the back side of the radio.
Tumblr media
Now, the inside of the radio ! You gotta put a strap to stitch the speaker in place : we used a piece of leather but anything will do. To make it sit nicely, you can build a base to put it on. We built ours with both small pieces of wood and foam, because foam is easier to glue on foam than wood.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, it’s painting time ! This step is explained in the first part of these tutorials, but I’m sure you can figure it out with reference pictures !
Tumblr media
Ta-da !
We personally use this radio as a prop when roleplaying to develop our Alternate Universe, Eclipse Studios ! By the way, we’re working on a new comic I think people will love…
Don’t forget to ask me if you need help for your own props, since I keep all my patterns and techniques.
I hope you enjoyed this post and this technic radio, and I’ll tell you soon about Eclipse Studios !

hi robo!! how long did it take you to learn to code in Renpy? I want to try my hand at making an otome game but I have executive dysfunction I'm afraid of dropping the project midway out of frustration.
It's ok -- i famously dropped my first project i ever tried bc i was way too ambitious for what i was able to do at the time. I'm glad i tried it tho, bc it's how i met orpheo + kija (orpheo made an entire unused ost for it........... VERY SAD......... IT WAS JAZZY AND BEAUTIFUL..............)
For context, i took coding/game dev classes in college so i wasnt exactly starting at square one here. So some stuff didn't weigh me down as much as they could for a first time coder (if you find urself there). But the best way to avoid unstoppable frustration is to start small.
Like, for example. Make a very simple renpy game that just uses the normal renpy functions. Put a sprite on the screen. A background. Add some dialogue. Learn how choices work. Move the sprite around for fun. Code in 2 possible endings that depend on your choices.
Once you've done that, you've covered a lot of the renpy basics. Step two would be to try something... different. Not a lot. Just pick one thing. For example, maybe you want to add a variable called "favor" that you can add or remove points to or from depending on ur choices, and THAT determines the ending. Or, maybe try to learn the renpy NVL mode to get familiar with another built-in way you can display text.
Then everything just builds from there. One small thing you learn at a time. Dont pile on a ton of features on your first project -- save that dream project for another time. For now, keep it small.
The time between starting renpy and finishing bp (jam edition) was ~1 year. I worked on 2 renpy projects during that time. One was a basic renpy visual novel with few extra features, and the next was a side-scroller adventure game where i learned how useful the screens.rpy feature could be. (I believe thats open source as well too, if anyone ever wanted to see an insane way a renpy beginner managed it in renpy).
Anyway. I believe in u gamer. Just be patient and start small. It'll turn out.

5 songs I'm currently listening to
Thanks @strigimorphaes for the tag!
Be prepared for my complete lack of music taste tbh. Also I've been writing essays so ignore how much baroque there is.
Bach's Mass in B Minor I've been listening to the whole thing as I write essays, but I've linked the Sanctus chorus to fulfill the requirements for a 'song'. If I didn't quarantine this recording to one space on my list it'd be all five songs! I also recommend the Kyrie eleison as a lovely display of vocal talent and the structured style of the baroque (the romantics sometimes get too fancy for me when I'm struggling through redrafting). I have listened to this recording at least fifteen to twenty times over the last few weeks and it has cemented itself as my favourite recording of this piece by far, maybe even my favourite Bach recording period!
我爱的这个世界 (The World I Love) by Liu Yuning
I haven't had the time to watch any of my cdramas recently, but its coming up on a year since To The End Of The Moon aired, and I've been going on an OST kick for it. The chorus for this jerks the heartstrings in the exact right way to make it perfect but not overpowering.
Club classics by Charlie XCX
My physio for my foot takes almost exactly as long as the three songs currently out from brat. So I've been listening to this track a lot! Excited to run 5ks (when i get the all-clear to run again arghhh) to this album when it drops.
Candidate by Jade Bird
I got recommended her Different Kinds Of Light album when I was travelling and so I've been putting it on in the background of me doing other stuff like commuting and this song stuck out so may survive my eventual abandonment of the album when the Audio Processing Neurons go We Hate This Album Now!
Vivaldi's Trio Sonata "La Follia" in D Minor RV63
At any given moment, I am always vibing with some chunk of Vivaldi's music. After eighteen months obsessed with his lute and mandolin stuff and various recordings thereof, I have returned to the welcoming arms of his most popular stuff and have been happily jamming to La Follia when I'm not trying to keep myself calm enough to redraft but instead want to Just Write. Not married to this recording though, if anyone has a special favourite they want to recommend I'll happily take it!
I'll tag @erlingshaalands, @tavina-writes, @gratisdiamanten and @legendofthefireemblem (ignore the tag if you don't want to do it!! and if you want to but didn't get tagged consider this a tag!)
