hello, a request please, from apollo x readerposeidon, how does apollo react if hermes tries to flirt with his girlfriend reader (hermes just wants to bother his older brother)
• this is a message for THAT nereid!
— apollo x daughter of poseidon!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
warnings: none
a/n: Hi baby. here's your apollo crew being jealous there's nothing more like him than that.
Apollo started biting his nails as soon as he heard your laughter echoing in his dining room, which he found stupid because it was HIS dining room and you were laughing with another guy right in his face. Well, it was not just another guy, it was his brother, which made it a million times worse.
His visits used to be enjoyable, now not so much.
— So, ¿what do you say? — Hermes asked, winking at you, and Apollo wondered about the sudden need to make his life miserable by looking you in that way.
Your lips painted another smile as you playfully shook your head, glancing sideways at your boyfriend, who was struggling not to throw the vase at his brother's face. Honestly, it amused you. “This is for all the times you let that Nereid flirt with you in front of me,” you thought, it was your perfect revenge, and with his brother willing to play along, they were hitting the nail on the head.
— Hmm. What do you say, darling? We can stay in that house for the summer. It's close to the water, and I think it would help me train while waiting for the swimming tryouts.
Apollo forced a smile and nodded silently, if he spoke, he'd surely yell. Hermes played with the crystal glass and leaned slightly towards you.
— Even if my brother can't be with you all the time, you can go on your own — he said, looking at his brother, pretending to be kind, and Apollo felt his blood boil. — I'll keep an eye on her for you, brother.
Apollo scoffed — I don't want you keeping any eye on my girlfriend, thanks.
The double entendre floated between you, and you pressed your lips together, trying not to smile.
Hermes ran his hand through his black curls while making loops with his hand, trying to find words to elaborate. That was exasperating, Apollo thought he was just trying to look dashing. For his misfortune, his brother kept talking.
— I think it'll be fine, she needs it for her training, after all, right? — He turned to you with the blue eyes that every son of Zeus seemed to possess. — Although, they should fear you from now on, doll.
Apollo choked at that word and drew both of your attention.
— Is everything alright, Apollo? — Hermes smiled maliciously, and the sun god remembered the stupid rule that whoever gets angry first loses.
— Nothing — Apollo replied, snapping his fingers to start the music. maybe breaking that stupid tension.
When “The Girl Is Mine” by Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney started, you were close to crack up. You couldn’t believe him.
— I love this song, little bro — Hermes hummed while drumming his fingers on the glass table, passing over the message on purpose.
“'Little bro'? I'm the older one,” Apollo thought, annoyed. He couldn't wait to kick that idiot out of his mansion.
The part with the ex-beatle began, and the messenger of the gods leaned closer and starting to sing to you.
— I love you more than he… — Hermes winked at you.
— Okay, enough — Apollo exclaimed, standing up and covering his brother's mouth with his hand. He kept singing even as his voice died in your boyfriend's palms.
 Apollo growled and shot you a furious look before disappearing with him in a golden dust.
As you were left alone in the dining room, you burst into laughter and took a sip of water, impressed by your brother-in-law's performance.
Footsteps echoed in the hallway, and you masked your smile with a serious expression.
 Apollo dusted off his hands and sat back down, his eyes fixed in the center of the table. You cleared your throat and casually propped one leg up on the chair, playing with your hair as you listened to him rant.
— And tell me, my love —your voice echoed through the palace vaults, — how does it feel? — In the midst of those emotions that had him on the edge of a psychotic episode, that question caught him off guard. You raised your eyebrows sanctimoniously and smiled smugly.
Oh.
— You! — He pointed at you accusingly, and you ran off giggling.
As he tried to catch up with you, he heard the echoes of the palace bringing the reason you played along with his brother's stupid game: “Tell that damn Nereid to screw off, you're mine!” And the brake on his heels, now fearing you'd walk back to him.
Okay, you won. Definitely, Apollo wouldn't even talk to a rock if it kept you from flirting with his brother again.

maybe i will finally learn my lesson? - begin again au ☆

ryan leonard x hughes sister au!
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
frankie fell back onto her bed with a soft thud as she tried to catch her breath. she looked at the boy beside her with a hopeful look hoping to gosh he would stay the night and cuddle her. she just needed some form of reassurance.
he never ever wanted to stay over though.
“i gotta go, the guys are going out tonight” he says as he gets out the bed acting like he was talking to some stranger. what frankie didn't realize was that they basically were.
“do you have to leave?” she says in a sad voice kneeling on the bed. she hated how he never wanted to stay and talk. was that so much for a girl to ask for these days?
“frankie, im all spent for right now, but i mean if im feeling it later on, i'll stop by”
is he fucking serious.
it had honestly been a while since frankie had felt that much rage. he really did only think of her as a fuck buddy.
she knew what she was getting herself into, when she agreed on their little agreement, but in the movies it always ends with the guys falling in love with you. right?
“oh my gosh. just leave. like actually” she said getting back in bed and turning her back to him. which left him dumbfounded. why would she be mad he had to leave?
“did i do something?” he asked confused as he finished putting his cloths on.
no answer.
that pissed drew off. she had no reason to be all pissy with him.
“are you mad because im going out with the boys? why would that bother you? were not anything, frankie. im allowed to go out” he said. still starring at her back.
“oh don’t worry. you’ve made that very clear to me drew” she says, her voice wavering due to the fact she just felt so foolish.
“whatever, you’re annoying me. talk to me when ur done being crazy” he said walking out and slamming her door in a fit of rage.
to say frankie took it totally fine would be dishonest. she sobbed in a fetal position all night. while blasting foolish one by taylor swift.
that woman really does have a song for every situation.
she had honestly never felt so alone.
of course she’s not actually alone; she just refuses to go to anyone and burden them with her problems. it’s not like she can call her parents and her brothers due to the fact she can’t lie to them. she knew they were going to ask something like 'how'd practice go?' and whatnot so she's been forwarding their calls since Wednesday when she quit the team.
she could also call her friends. or her ex teammates. did she even have friends?
she was alone.
___
she sits in her room finishing up and assignment when she felt like doing something. usually she would get drunk and go from there, but no. if the last week has taught her anything; it's that she's becoming a new person. and the new person wouldn't black out after every minor convenience.
so in the spur of the moment, she decided she was going to rearrange her room! which is what lead her to where she was right now; outside the freshman hockey house.
while moving her bed from one side to another, she found drews hoodie. so being the mature, new, amazing person she claimed to be... she decided to give him back his hoodie, as a form of ceasing the deal. this is a supposed to be a step forward is it three steps back?
frankie walked up the front steps and as she lifted her fist to knock she halts, when she hears multiple voices coming from inside. not wanting to end her and drews situationship in front of his teammates; to save them both the embarrassment. she quickly trashes her plan and decided to just head home.
but when she heard her name is when she decided against that.
"frankie?" she hears drew ask.
"yes dude. its actually so obvious she wants you after what your saying she did yesterday"
he told them about the argument?
well she couldn't really get mad, if frankie had best friends she would of probably told them too.
"well i dont want her like that and she knows that"
frankie felt her heart crack.
i mean she told herself he didn't like her back, but hearing him say it, is a whole different level of pain for someone who just oh so hoped to joke about their situationship one day over coffee as he watched the morning news while their kids got ready for school.
foolish one, frankie hughes.
"no way your gonna reject her, she's so hot. what the hell is there not to like" one of his stupid teammates said.
"I mean she's the nicest and one of the hottest girls I've ever got with dont get me wrong, but some of the shit she says makes me question if she's being for real or not" drew said not knowing the match he was lighting.
"I think I know what your talking about, is it when she said she thought denver was in texas?" one of his other teammates chimed in.
"bro yes. that actually left me speechless" he says. frankie felt like burning the house down at this point.
"she's lucky she's got hockey" another voice said.
"had'
the hoodie she had in her hands slipped through her fingers. just like the heart drew held. the heart he never wanted to hold.
she backed away from the door, never wanting to slash anyones tires more. she wanted to commit arson. the way they were talking about her, made her want to throw up.
she can take the fact he didn't like her back. thats okay. if he didn't feel the butterflies she felt it wasn't no one fault. but mine.
but the fact he stood their and called her stupid? who the fuck even knows geography like that? she felt so many emotions run through her veins and the one overcoming the rest was the one that held the power over her tears.
"frankie?" oh my god. no. why the hell did I not run home?
she turned her head to see ryan leonard standing there. one of drews friends. someone she had considered to be her friend. but if the rest talk about her like that, him, will, and gabe probably do too.
"you didn't see me here, ryan" she said as she covered her face trying to push past him.
"wha- hey! what's wrong? who did this?" he said grabbing her wrist and seeing her crying eyes. he knew who did it. he just needed to hear a confirmation before he went inside and beat his ass.
"nothing. let me go" she said wiping her tears.
"im not letting you leave here alone hughes, i know how you get when your this sad. I dont want to wake up tomorrow and hear that you got hit by a damn bus for gosh sake"
one thing ryan hated was when she would drink her feelings away because that meant she was going to be reckless. she honestly is reckless.
"well then do you want to come?"
I got tired so im done writing but I wanted to post this! also ! I have no hate towards drew, its all going to add up in the future when I start the other aus I have planned but for now drew is like anyone else and he's learning and growing. so bear with me!

All Too Well Master List ACOTAR Masterlist
The sound of Amarantha’s screams was like music to Eris Vanserra’s ears. He watched as Tamlin ripped her to shreds, glancing over to see Estella holding Feyre’s body close to her murmuring something to herself that his fae hearing couldn’t pick up on. The screams ceased and Tamlin walked back to where the young fae princess and the human cursebreaker.
Eris watched as Estella a tear-streaked face looked up at the High Lord of Spring her laced covered chest heaving, “I’m so sorry Tamlin.” She lowered her head in shame, as if this was her fault.
Tamlin lifted Estella’s face to meet his eyes, “This wasn’t your fault. Okay?”
Eris moved toward Amarantha’s mutilated body as he heard Estella let out a sob, “You asked me to protect her I failed.” Eris closed his eyes and rubbed at his chest hoping the ache would dissipate.
Eris looked over at Amarantha’s remains that were mostly ribbons of flesh and found what he was looking for as Tamlin hushed the Princess of Night. “You did no such thing, Stella, now please give her to me.”  Tamlin’s voice was tender as he knelt in front of the female holding his love’s corpse. “Come on, Flower.”
Romeo Save Me Somewhere We Can Be Alone
Eris looked over at the dais to see Estella, half of her pinned to the back of her head, the rest of her hair had fallen past her breast in soft curls. Clad in a sheer orange gown, the fabric barely covering anything, especially how his high queen had her positioned on Tamlin’s lap. Her legs spread by his thighs, her back pressed against his chest. The Princess placed her hand over the Lord of Spring and Eris noticed his thumb moved over hers and began swiping periodically. As if he was trying to bring her comfort. The heir of Autumn knew those two were friends just never realized how close the pair was.
The red-haired male moved his gaze to the rest of the ballroom, fighting the urge to clench his fist, he caught his brother’s attention. His russet eyes met with a similar pair of Lucien, his metal eye zeroing in on him. The young Emissary of the spring court’s face was impassive though his eyes, held pure resentment. Lucien didn’t let his stare linger on his brother rather it moved to his two friends at the front of the room. Guilt threatened to take hold, but the eldest Vanserra brother forced it down in a box where he kept most of his emotions shutting the lid tight. Another person that he had let down.
“Estella, darling be a dear and entertain us.” Amarantha’s voice drew Eris his attention back to the princess of night. “Dance.”
Estella froze, “Your Majesty?”
Amarantha pinched her chin, “I said dance, has whoring you around my court made you dumb.” Eris gripped the side of his leg tightly as he glanced over to the High Lord of Night, his tanned face a mask of cool indifference, Eris gazed lowered to Rhysand’s hands to find his knuckles were white as a result of gripping the arms of his chair tightly.
“No, Your Majesty,” Estella responded. “Or perhaps you would prefer to give a dance to one person.”
Rhysand cleared his throat, “Your majesty, I would be-“
Amarantha whipped her head, “No.” She looked out to the assembly in the hall. “I will accept volunteers from anyone that is not related to her.”
Eris’s feet moved of his own accord and managed to reach the dais before Lucien could. As he bowed lowed, “Your majesty. Though I have no need for a dance, I would be honored.”
Amarantha’s voice had a jovial lilt to it, “Ah Eris Vanserra. Yes, you have my permission to use her, however, you please. Rise. Claim your whore.”
Eris rose to his full height and walked up to the young heiress. He held out a hand for her, “Come now, Viper.” Estella curled her mouth in a small snarl, though her eyes were vacant, hallow as if she mentally went somewhere else. Though she gripped his hand all the same. He yanked her off Tamlin’s lap and pressed her chest to his. His arm snaked around her waist, his fingertips grazing the bare skin of her hip. Electricity bolted up his arm at the contact though he easily ignored it.
“Estella, how do you thank Eris, for claiming you this evening.” Amarantha prodded; Eris didn’t miss her face contorted in a grimace. Before she looked up her ice blue eyes meeting his warm copper ones, life had returned to her, but Eris could feel her dread, it emulated around her like a shield. Though that didn’t stop her from lifting her hand sliding it up the red velvet embroidered vest he was wearing. Or when her soft, gentle fingers slid up his neck and through the silken strands of his long hair.
She rose on her tippy toes her plump lips inches away from his own, “Thank you, Prince Eris,” Estella closed the distance kissed him. Eris slid his hand up her back, lightly grazing her spine as his hand wrapped around her raven-colored locks and yanked her back hard enough to cause a gasp from the princess’ mouth, giving the Autumn Court Heir access to slide his tongue against her. She tasted as sweet as he hoped she would. His tongue clashing with hers he could have sworn a small moan escaped her throat.
The need for oxygen and knowing that the two had put on enough of a show for their audience, Eris pulled away, with a smirk as Estella opened her eyes her pupils blissed out from their moment. Before he could ask, Amarantha, was waving her hand, “Eris you and your pet are dismissed for the evening.”
Eris bowed, and Estella followed suit, aware that it would expose her backside to the fae standing behind them. Eris placed a hand on the small of her back and led her out into the hall. The two had walked down for a few moments the sound of Estella’s skirt swishing against her skin, her hands clasped in front of her, when she asked, “What do you plan on doing with me, Princeling?”
Exhaustion weighed heavily on the prince’s body, as he sighed, “Sleep, My Little Viper. We’re going to sleep.”
This Love Is Difficult, But It's Real
The whole court ogled around and watched as the High Lords of Prythian dropped a kernel of power on the human girl that saved them all. Eris Vanserra on the other hand watched as his brother held onto the Princess of Night as her sobs softened. He could see Lucien whispering in her ear though from where he stood even his fae hearing wouldn’t be able to decipher. Ignoring the spectacle Eris walked over to one his handmaidens.
She bowed when he approached, saying nothing, he gripped the plump woman’s sleeve and began wiping the blood of the Tiara he grabbed. Once he was satisfied, he turned and walked over to Lucien and Estella. The youngest Vanserra son tightened his hold on Estella when Eris approached. “Relax, brother, today is a joyous day. We can put aside our differences for now.” Lucien growled, “Feel free to hate me again tomorrow.”
Estella’s eyes pierced the Autumn Prince’s and Eris presents the tiara glancing down at the lace covered bodice of her dress that dipped down to her stomach, “I believe this belongs to you, Little Viper.”  He smirked as he met her eyes again. She glanced at his hands and reached out to grab the accessory from him, tearing herself from Lucien’s arms as she did so. Eris took a step back and dangled the tiara above her head, “Allow me.” He motions for his index finger to spin around. She obeyed and crossed her arms, the dark red silk of her dress swirling as she did. Her scent of Ocean mist and Jasmine invaded his nose he fought the notion to bask in her scent, as he placed the tiara on top of her head. Stepped closer and noticed the sharp breath she took as his nose brushed against her ear, “There now you look fit to rule a kingdom, Princess.”
He could hear her heartrate quicken as he took a step away and once more as cheers erupted through the cave. The three of them turned to find Feyre embraced in Tamlin’s arms, ears pointed heartbeat strong and steady. “By the Cauldron.” Lucien whispered and ran up to his friends. Leaving the two alone.
“I have to thank you, Princeling.” Estella’s voice broke the tension.
“For?”
“Giving me brief little moments of reprieve from this nightmare.” Her piercing eyes met his, “I am in your debt.”
Eris was about to dispute it when in a flash arm wrapped around Estella pulling her into a tight embrace, had he not seen the matching raven-colored hair, the heir of Autumn would have prepared for an attack. Rhysand pulled away as if remembering where he had put his hands in his pockets assessed his sister. “Are you hurt?”
Estella turned to Eris only to find he was already gone. She sighed and looked back at her brother. “I’m fine, Rhys.”
He nodded and, in her mind said, The High Lords are meeting to figure out the next steps. I don’t know how long that will take. Then out loud he said, “As your High Lord, I’m demanding you head home immediately and make sure our court held up in our absence.” Estella noticed the hint of a smirk on his face, Tell Cassian hello for me, and that I’ll be home soon.
Estella’s face lit up, she kissed her brother on the cheek, “Thank you, High Lord.” She took a step, looked back toward Lucien and Tamlin. Both males embracing Feyre. Green eyes met hers and with a dip of his chin she bolted and winnowed home.
I’ll Be Waiting
The Summer night breeze kissed her skin as she arrived in front of the town home. Home. She was home. Picking up her skirts she bolted through the front door of the town home. She could hear laughter in the dining room pause when the door slammed shut. Before anyone could get up, she ran into the room. Gasp and fallen utensils were the only thing she heard before, Morrigan her hair in perfect waves and dressed in her signature red gown rose from her seat, her eyes turning glassy. “So, it’s true? It’s over?” She asked.
Estella wiped the stray tears that had begun to fall, “Yeah. Its over.” She croaked as Mor pulled her into a bone crushing hug. “Fuck, I have missed you guys.”
A pair of scarred calloused hands tugged at her bare shoulders, “Don’t hog her, Mor.” Azriel’s deep voice joked as he pulled her into an embrace of his own. He pulled away and she felt the cool kiss of his shadows up and around her body, checking for injuries. He pressed his forehead to hers, “Its good to have your home.” He pressed his lips to her forehead and guided her to a chair. He began to make her a plate of food, as he asked, “Where’s Rhys?”
Estella eyes grew wide with the spread Azriel placed before her. Taking a heaping bite before she answered, she couldn’t help but moan as the warm food met her mouth. The bountiful flavor bursting on her tongue. She looked at Mor, and Az as she swallowed her food and said, “He said there would be a meeting with the High Lord’s about what is going to happen next, no doubt trying to get Amarantha’s” She fought the cringe at the sound of the female’s name coming out of her mouth, “men collected and figuring out what to do with them.”
Amren’s cold calculating voice was a welcome reprieve, “Why didn’t you stay with him?”
Estella turned her head to the female and smiled, “He wanted me to come home, let you know he would be back soon.” Estella, smiled and looked at the table, acutely aware of the empty missing, “Where is he?”
Azriel gave her a warm smile and placed his hand on top of her own his hazel eyes ablaze with warmth and happiness, “He went to the Illyrian camps a few weeks ago. He has been spending a lot of time up there to personally train his soldiers.  He says its to make sure they have the best training we can offer.”
Estella felt guilt bubble in her stomach, “But?”
Azriel’s face fell slightly, his shadows curling around him as a form of comfort, “He had been struggling staying in Velaris for too long. It Reminded him of you and the future you two were planning. He missed you.”
“We all did, Girl.” Amren corrected. Estella’s blue eyes met her swirling silver ones, “Don’t look so surprised. Your quick wit against these overgrown bats was impressive. It was nice to not be the only one with a silver tongue.”
Estella blinked; she couldn’t remember a time when Amren had outwardly complimented her. Though she wasn’t about to question the tiny one’s motives, she went back to shoveling food in her mouth. She went for seconds and cleaned that plate too, Azriel grabbed her plate when she attempted to go for more, “Pace yourself, you’ll make yourself sick.”
“The food was awful down there.” If she got any that was. She didn’t miss the concerned glances from her friends when she arrived. She hadn’t looked in a mirror in 50 years and she was afraid to, terrified at what her reflection might reveal. How badly Amarantha’s abuse taken a toll on her physically as it had emotionally.  Estella met Azriel’s gaze and he gave her a smile, kissing the side of her head. Estella cleared her throat, “Um, I am going to go upstairs and wash up.”
Mor gave her a warm smile, one she never thought she would see again, “Your room has not been touched, your clothes have been routinely cleaned.”
Estella rubbed her chest and the base of her throat fighting the emotion threatening to come up. “Thank you.”
Azriel cupped her cheek. Stroking his thumb against her cheek, “Welcome home, Princess.”
She wrapped her arms around Az and squeezed him tightly. “I missed you. I never thought I would see you again.”
“Likewise.” He pressed his hand on the back of her head holding her close. “Fuck.” She pulled away at the Shadow  Singer’s expletive and saw that his eyes lined with silver. “I’m just..” He took a deep breath, “I’m just happy to see you.”
“Me too, Az. I missed your face.” He laughed wiping his eyes, as she looked to all three of her friends, “Not a day went by that I didn’t think about you.” The two females rose from their seats and as if they were reading each other’s thoughts smothered the young female into a tight embrace, where she let her tears flow freely.
Home. She was finally, Home.
On The Balcony In Summer Air
The cool night air kissed Estella's skin for the first time in fifty years as she leaned against the balcony the silk of her red night gown doing nothing to prevent the chill, but the female couldn’t bring herself to care. Looking up at the night sky. She couldn't help but smile as tears pickled her pale blue eyes. This is what it felt like:
To be free
"Hello, Sweetheart." The low timbre of a familiar voice elicited a sob to escape her throat. Turning from the view of the city, she met glassy hazel eyes, bruises darkening his tanned skin under them. His wings were tucked back, but his siphons glowed.
She gave him a watery smile, "Hello, General." She covered her mouth to stifle the sobbed. Not being able to contain herself, she leaped into his awaiting arms and legs wrapping around his waist. Burying her face in the crook of his neck.
Cassian's arm held her up by her waist, his free hand pressing the back of her head holding her close, tears streaming down his own face. Estella pulled away and pressed her lips to his.
Cassian pulled away, pressing his forehead to hers, "Welcome home, Estella." And his lips reattached to hers as he took her to their shared bed. Plopping her down on the bed his hazel eyes met her blue ones he swiped a strand of hair from her face.
She cupped her hands against his face, and took a moment to look at him, his eyes had dark circles under them, as if he hadn’t had a good night’s rest in the last fifty years. He had grown out a beard the scruff rough against her skin. “Tell me what you’re thinking.”  She whispered.
Cassian cupped his hand against her cheek, tears spilling down his face. “I’m thinking that you are just as beautiful as the last time I saw you.” He kissed her forehead, “I’m thinking that I can’t believe that you are right here in my arms.” She closed her eyes as he pressed his lips to her cheek. “I’m thinking…” He took a deep breath, and she opened her eyes. “I’m thinking, how I never thought I would see you again. And yet here you are.”
Estella smiled, “Here I am.” She took his hand and placed it over her heart and he closed his eyes as he felt its steady beat. “Cassian, not a day went by where I didn’t wish to be with you. To be in your arms.” Tears threatened to fall but she forced it down. “I missed you so much.”
Cassian shushed her and placed his lips on to hers in a gentle kiss, “It’s okay, Sweetheart, I know. I missed you. More than you could ever know.” He kissed her again, “And just so we’re clear when your brother comes home. I am beating the shit out of him.”
“Cass?”
“Hmm?” He smirked.
She gripped the collar of his leathers and pulled him closer to him, he growled in approval as she whispered on his lips, “Do not say my brother’s name while you’re in my bed.” And she clashed her lips onto his.
Estella ran her fingers through Cassian’s curls as the General was fast asleep on his stomach.  Sliding out of her bed, she opened the drawer of her nightstand, grabbed a piece of parchment, and walked back out onto her balcony. Looking back once more she made sure that Cassian remained asleep as she turned back to the parchment in her hands. Opening the parchment thinking about the author of the note.
Estella awoke back in her cell. The memory of Autumn leaves and cinnamon returning to her.  She adjusted to a sitting position her brows furrowing as she felt something in her palm. Opening the note, her breath quickened as bile threatened to rise as the question, she asked the night before came to the forefront of her mind:
“Then what do you want with me, Princeling?”
One sentence gave her his answer in perfectly neat handwriting.
I want you, My Little Viper.
Estella folded the paper and threw it on the opposite side of the cell. Pulling her knees up to her chest she had to question just how far the Prince of Autumn would go to get what he wants.
Estella sighed, staring down at the swirls of Eris’ handwriting, questions swirling in her mind.  As if she summoned him with her thoughts; a note appeared in front of her. Grabbing the parchment, she unfolded it.
Will you ever truly be free, Little Viper?
Estella glared at the parchment hoping it would erupt into flames. Folding both notes, she walked into her room, placed the notes in her nightstand, and went back to bed. The General of the Night Court’s armies arm pulling her against his chest. Though luscious red hair and russet eyes plagued her dreams.
You’ll Be The Prince and I’ll Be the Princess
After fifty long years Eris, stepped into the familiar room of orange, red and gold hues of his study. Twelve heads perked up as they saw Eris step in. The familiar dark eyes of his hounds perked up and all of them ran to their owner’s side. He bent down on a knee and allowed each of them a total of one lick per dog. Unable to fight the smile from his features of reuniting with his companions. “Hello dear Friends. I have missed you dearly.”   They all swished their tails at the sound of their master’s voice.
Home after Amarantha’s fall, the High Lords met for two days in a row and after sitting in a room with massive egos, it was nice to return home to the quiet of his study.  He walked over to his desk the mountain of paperwork there. He sighed and leaned against his chair closing his eyes, only for the ice blue eyes and raven-black hair plagued his brain. He pressed his hands to his eyes and groaned.
He sat up and removed his hands from his eyes, as an idea began to form. Opening his drawer to find his favorite quill and ink pots right where he left them. Pulling them out along with the stack of parchment. Eris began to write, as soft pink lips and the scent of Ocean Mist and Jasmine lingered in his mind as his quill began swirling across the parchment:
My Sweet Little Viper. My Beautiful Mate.

For I Have Sinned | Dean Winchester x gn!reader

↳ ❝ Hi can I request “Nothing, just… you look really good right now” with dean please ❞
: ̗̀➛ You get a little bit hot under the collar seeing Dean in a particular outfit.
: ̗̀➛ heavy sexual referencing & innuendo, swearing
↳ MINORS DNI
•───────────────★•♛•★──────────────•
Admittedly, it was very rare for you and the Winchesters to ever really cross paths accidentally; whenever you worked a job together it was done so on purpose, and often arranged in advance so that you knew where to stay and what was going on.
But this time was different, as a small rural village in pretty much nowhere had been plagued with stories of a werewolf, and you didn’t have time to contact the Winchesters about it before they were bursting into your motel room together dressed as priests.
It made you want to laugh, really, but when they started asking about work, you could only shake your head as you held up your palms.
“Boys, boys!” You shouted, trying not to grin. “Settle down already, I’ve only just got here, alright?”
Carefully, Dean sat on your bed as he folded his arms across his chest; Sam leaned against the wall mimicking his brother’s posture, which made you sigh as you gently tapped your thighs. Unable to keep your eyes off of Dean as you swallowed thickly.
“So, what’d you know?” Dean asked, almost impatient as he raised his brows and stared directly at you.
You shook your head, chewing at the inside of your lip. “Honestly? Pretty much fuck all at this point. You?”
“About the same,” Dean agreed with a curt nod, his gaze dropping to your mouth for a moment before he awkwardly cleared his throat. “Sammy? Could you, erm, could you go grab somethin’ to eat while we talk?”
“Yeah, sure,” Sam said slowly, looking between you and Dean for a moment before leaving.
“Quit lookin’ at my mouth,” Dean told him, resting his forearm on his knee and glaring at you. “Now ain’t the time.”
You sighed as you chewed at the inside of your mouth. “Oh, so it’s my fault that you decided to dress up as the only attractive priest on the planet?”
He shrugged. “What about that guy, erm… Andrew whatever?”
“He’s not attractive,” you scoffed. “But seriously, it’s just nothing, just… you look really good right now and, yeah! It’s a little bit distracting!”
Dean laughed softly as he shook his head fondly; he could have said the same about you with your old band t-shirt and matching hoodie, camouflage cargo trousers and beaten up brown boots.
He really could have said the same about you, given how you kept biting your fucking lip and how you were sat with your legs spread; he hardly growled as he swiped his hand down his face, swallowing thickly.
He couldn’t take his eyes off of you, his breath hitching in his throat as he tried - in vain - to take his eyes away from your mouth for even just a quick moment. He narrowed his eyes slightly, thinking about the last time you were in a motel together alone.
He almost gave up, until you shifted in your seat and grunted under your breath - it almost immediately drew his attention directly to you.
“Dean!” You almost shouted, making him blink quickly before shaking his head in shock. “Let me guess - suddenly you’re distracted, too, right?”
He nodded slowly, clearing his throat awkwardly as he rubbed his mouth. “Yeah, erm… yeah. Sorry.”
You shook your head, taking in a deep breath as you tried to steady and steel your nerves. “So what the fuck do we do? We can’t… how the fuck are we meant to go hunting if we can’t even sit in a room together?”
“I can get changed,” he murmured. “Dump the whole Father Brodén schtick and find something else. Maybe, erm… I think I got an Agent Taylor or somethin’ stashed away somewhere, I don’t-”
“No,” you said softly, quietly. “No, you don’t need to do that - I’ll, I’ll sit this one out, do base research from here.”
Dean shook his head, running a hand through his hair. “No, I can’t let you do that. You were here first, this is your hunt.”
“Dean,” you sighed. “We can’t do shit if we’re like this. You know that, and I know that.”
“So what do we do?” He asked, furrowing his brows.
“Well, Sam’s out,” you mused, pursing your lips for a moment. “I’m sure we could, erm, y’know… lock the door, keep the window shut and erm… let loose, don’t you think?”
Dean seemed to consider it, swallowing thickly as he shifted where he sat for a moment. “Conflict of interest.”
“Hmm?” You furrowed your brows as you frowned.
“There’s you and me,” he started, “we don’t see each other often, you know the life - think we can even work together if we’re… lettin’ loose all the time?”
You shrugged, clasping your hands together between your legs as you swallowed thickly. “I’m willing to give it a shot, are you?”
“Yeah,” he murmured, rubbing the back of his neck. “I would be… c’mere a sec, though.”
You got up, your legs a little shaky as you walked over to him, surprised when he pulled you down onto his lap, licking his lips and grinning; you put your hands on his shoulders, eyeing up the white collar around his neck for a moment.
“You should dress as a priest more,” you breathed out, taking a moment to stare at his lips.
Dean nodded, shifting his hips so that you were right on him. “Noted. You should wear that tight shirt more.”
You squeezed his shoulders a little, breath hitching in your throat. “Noted.”
You couldn’t help it, one hand going to his hair and the other at the nape of his neck as you caught him in a quick kiss; immediately, Dean kissed back, grunting softly when you tugged at his hair gently to pull him closer.
The kiss became open mouthed and heavy, making you squirm a little when you pulled away, looking at how shiny and plump his lips were for a moment.
“Dean…”
“I’m gonna take my shoes off,” he whispered. “And then I’m gonna lie down - you gonna join me?”
“Well, fuck it” you breathed out, laughing for a second. “Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.”

Perfectly harmless.
You very highly doubted that claim was true.
"Well," he said, tilting his head a little closer, "mostly harmless."
Still, almost as if to prove it, Shanks released his hold around your waist, his hand resting at your lower back a moment before slipping away to hold the cell door open for you. You stumbled just a little on your first steps out of the cell, your legs trembling, stiff and weakened in equal measure from three days and two nights stuck with the very limited range of movement that your bindings had allowed.
"Easy, now," said Shanks lightly, briefly slipping his arm around your back to steady you by your waist. "You haven't been on your feet in days, you can take a minute to get your footing. We're not in any rush."
"R...right," you said, uncertainly. You swallowed as he helped guide you over to the brig officer's desk, where you sat heavily in the chair, stretching your legs out for a moment. "I still don't really want to stay here too long. Three days has been more than enough." You leaned forward, pulling your swords across the desk and resting your forehead on one of of the black leather sheaths, laying your hand over the hilt. "Don't want to keep the crew waiting, either."
"Ah, they'll be busy a while," he said dismissively, pulling himself uo to sit on the desk. "There's a good bit of cargo to transfer." He nodded down at the swords. "Yours, I take it?'
You nodded, lifting your head. "I didn't even know if they were brought on the ship or not," you said. "My father made them for me." He had made them just over ten years ago, given them to you on your fourteenth birthday.
"Well, he was damned skilled. They're beautiful. May I?" He gestured a hand toward them. "If you don't mind."
"Go ahead," you said. You lifted one of the cutlasses and drew to from its scabbard, handing it over. His hand brushed across yours as he took the blade, clearly intentionally if the small smirk that briefly curved the corner of his lips was any indication. You watched him flip it deftly in one hand, holding it upright, his eyes scanning slowly down the edge of the blade.
"And well cared for. Sharp as a razor," he commented, impressed. He turning it sideways, flipping it around once more and nodding. "He teach you anything about smithing?"
You shook your head. "Not much," you said. "My brother was his apprentice. He taught me maintenance mostly. He instructed me in a few different weapon types, but swords were always my favorite." You took the weapon back when he handed it off to you, slipping the blade back into its scabbard. "And his."
"Experienced thief, weapons expert...." He leaned back a bit, smiling as he shook his head. "Yeah, you'll fit right in, sweetheart."
The way he was looking at you, the way his eyes burned into yours, had your face growing a little warm again as you turned your own gaze away, swallowing nervously. It wasn't as if no one had ever flirted with you before; you were honestly pretty used to it, ever since you had ended up living in the streets, used to crude comments and catcalling.
And yet here sat an incredibly notorious pirate captain, being incredibly respectful about it, all but making you swoon every time he lowered his voice or so much as touched your hand.
You stood from the chair, picking up your swords and setting to strapping them to your belt at either side of your hips, glancing down at the Marine cadet still bound in the corner of the room as his eyes passed between you and Shanks. You had never been around any pirates before now, but you had encountered your fair share of Marines, as many of them had been customers at your father's smithy.
Many of them had been self-righteous prats, and all the Marines aboard this ship had treated you like scum they had dragged in on the bottom of their boots.
"I think I will fit in fairly well," you finally said, quietly.
"Now that's the spirit!" His enthusiasm was honestly infectious, and you couldn't help but smile a little as he slipped off of the desk. "There's a fair chance you'll end up with a bounty on your head once word of your escape reaches Marineford, anyway. Between that and breaking into a base in a major city." He still sounded particularly amused about that as he rest his hand over the small of your back, stepping over the Marine cadet as if he weren't even there. "I'm eager to find out how you managed it. Oh, no, not yet," he added when you opened your mouth to respond. "I'm sure the whole crew's going to want to hear that tale."
Well, it was quite a tale. You were honestly surprised you had made it as far as you had before getting caught.
Before everything went to hell in a handbasket.
You lifted a hand to shield your eyes as you emerged onto the bustling deck of the ship; the mid-afternoon sun was blinding after days of only seeing it through one small, rounded window in the brig. The Red Hair crew was working quickly and steadily on robbing the Marine ship completely blind, right before their eyes—the entire crew of around fifty Marines was tied up on the deck, bound at their hands and feet, the captain and his officers situated at the center mast to give them the best possible view of the entire debacle.
Shanks called and motioned for his own officers to line up at the starboard side of the caravel, and took his time in introducing you to each of them individually. He glanced back occasionally at the Marines' captain and mates with a smirk, clearly reveling in their growing annoyance.
"Our newest thief has two years experience," he dragged on loudly, pacing slowly between you and his officers—many of whom were cracking up themselves, well aware that the whole spectacle was being orchestrated for the sole purpose of riling up the captive Marines, "and was arrested for—if you can believe it—breaking into a Marine base in a major port city in Arabasta with only one accomplice, and getting so far as to open their treasury vault before being captured."
And he paused for effect at that, waiting as the crew began to break into laughter, as you struggled to keep a straight face yourself, glancing toward the infuriated Marine captain, who had told you before shoving you into the brig a few days ago that he would personally see to it that you never saw the light of day again. For once in your life you were seeing karma in real time—and it was a positively beautiful sight to behold.
"And I'm sure we're all dying to know," Shanks went on, ceasing his pacing and stopping just in front of you, grinning, "how the hell she managed it."
He had given you more than enough time to go over the details in your head. A lot of your success had been pure dumb luck, for sure, but you drew up your resolve to relay it.
"Overheard a few cadets in a tavern talking about how the vaults were never heavily guarded...and the roof access was never locked." His eyebrows shot up toward the bright red fringe of his hair as you spoke. His officers glanced between each other. "A couple days later we climbed the back wall of the base. Knocked out a couple Marines at the top floor, stole their uniforms, and made our way down."
"Bullshit." All eyes shifted onto the Marine captain when he spoke up, glaring daggers at you. "That base is constructed out of sandstone. Five stories of completely smooth stone. There's no way anyone could climb the walls."
"Tell your comrades at the base to check the back wall for holes," you said coldly, your eyes lingering on his. "We used climbing spikes."
The man's teeth gritted together in a visible scowl. You turned your head back toward the snickering pirates, in time to see Shanks mumble something to Benn, who rolled his eyes and scoffed.
Then you heard the Marine captain behind you again, speaking in a low growl. "Disrespectful wench." You turned your head in time to watch him spit at the heel of your boot.
"Disrespectful?" Though the rest of his crew continued to chuckle, Shanks wasn't laughing as he put himself between you and the oposing captain, his forearm resting over the hilt of his saber at his hip. "I get the impression you haven't done much to earn anyone's respect," he said. "That being said, respectfully, captain...."
And with that, he placed the heel of his sandal against the man's shoulder and shoved him over. With the Marine's hands and feet bound, there was nothing he could do to right himself—nothing except glare daggers at Shanks as he crouched down in front of him.
"Don't interupt." Shanks gave him a smile and a rather hard clap on the shoulder before straightening back out and turning to face his own crew. "Now—"
"Goddamned pirates," he spat. Shanks looked back over his shoulder at the man. "A thief's a thief," he said viciously, glaring daggers at you from where he lay on the deck floor. "The whore'll rob you lot blind same as she tried with us."
There was scattered chuckling around the Marines as Shanks stared down at the captain for a long, tense moment. You saw something shift in his eyes, the warmth and humor leaving them.
"Whore?" he repeated lightly, raising his eyebrows. His eyes swept around the rest of the Marines, before he turned to you, taking a couple steps closer. He brushed a few strands of hair behind your ear, offering you a warm smile. "I take it," he said slowly, quietly, "this is how you were being treated for the past three days, sweetheart?"
You swallowed, glancing over toward the Marines, whose laughter had quickly subsided. "More or less, yes," you affirmed.
"Hmm." He nodded, his hand drifting down to your shoulder, lifting the torn strap of your black tank top—torn when you had been flung into the cell in the brig by a couple cadets, while the captain stood watch and told you then that you'd never see the light of day again. His eyes shifted over to the Marines again, and he spoke aloud. "Change of plans, men. We take everything from this ship that isn't nailed down...and then we sink her."
The protest from the Marines was immediate, loud and desperate—some begging to be spared, others calling you several other colorful names and shouting claims that you were lying. Even you found yourself staring wide-eyed at the red-haired captain, at the knowledge that he would sink an entire ship just because of how the crew had treated you.
You were beginning to understand the reason for his bounty.
Shanks ignored the Marines entirely—it seemed his mind was made up. "I think we're just about done here." Your eyes remained wide as he turned his head back to meet your gaze, his expression softening into a smile again, his hand resting at your lower back. "What say we get you over to our ship and..." He glanced down at your shoulder briefly, at the broken strap of your shirt hanging down, "maybe find you something to change into."
You nodded, tugging unconsciously at the broken strap to pull the neck of your shirt up. "I...suppose that would be..."
"There's no need to worry, love" He clearly noticed your unease—there was no doubt it was written all over your face. He curled his arm around your back, leaning in a bit so he didn't have to raise his voice over the mounting protest of the Marines behind both of you. "You're part of my crew now, and we always look out for each other." He glanced over at the metal clink of a lighter igniting at his other side, and grinned at his first mate. "Isn't that right, Benn?"
Hi first mate quirked an eyebrow, taking a puff from his cigarette. "What am I agreeing to?"
"Ah, don't worry about it," Shanks laughed. "Anyway—I'll trust you to handle preparations here." He nodded back toward the Marines as the three of you stopped at the starboard railing around the deck, and he leaned forward against it, his eyes scanning over his ship floating only a few feet away, over the rest of the crew getting the supplies they had taken from the Marines organized. "Half a keg of powder should do the trick, we'll bring the rest with us."
"Right," said Benn, stubbing out the cigarette he had just lit on the railing and tucking it behind his ear.
"After you've—"
There was a light metallic clink right behind you—and all three of you heard it, glancing over your shoulders.
In the same instant you drew one of your swords and spun around, leveling it with the Marine officer's throat, Benn had his rifle pointed at the man's forehead. The officer dropped the flintlock pistol he had pointed at Shank's back, his eyes widened in shock, shaking as he slowly raised his hands.
Shanks turned around and leaned back, hanging his elbow over the edge of of the railing and glancing at you with a quick nod of approval. Then he turned his eyes on the Marine, giving a small chuckle and cooking his head to the side a bit.
"Now that wasn't a very smart decision, was it?" he said, grinning. "You could have just snuck by and sent out a distress call. Did you?" he added, lifting his eyebrows.
"I—I—no, I—I just—I—"
"Check," said Shanks, cutting his eyes toward Benn.
Benn gave a short nod, shouldered his rifle, and headed off toward the quarterdeck in quick strides.
The Marine remained standing there, shaking and stammering, his eyes darting between your blade and Shanks as the red-haired captain rolled his gaze back over to you. "Quite a set of reflexes you've got, sweetheart. You said your father trained you?"
You glanced at him only briefly before training your eyes back onto the Marine, and nodded. "We didn't live in a great area," you said. "He wanted to make sure I could defend myself."
"I would have to say he succeeded," he chuckled, shaking his head a little. He leaned back a bit further, placing the toe of his sandal over the Marine's pistol and sliding it across the deck, stooping down to pick it up. "What other tricks have you got up your sleeve?"
"Well," you said, watching as he turned the pistol over in his hands, and then casually reach behind him and drop it overboard. Benn was heading back down the stairs from the quarterdeck with a coil of rope hanging from one shoulder. He seemed to be in no hurry, so clearly no distress signal had been sent off. You went on, "He rigged this for me, in case I ever get disarmed."
You shifted your weight onto one foot, and hit the back of your right boot heel on the deck, and a three inch blade shot out from a slot in the front of the sole.
The Marine drew in a sharp breath, and Benn stopped a few feet away, speaking one word that clearly echoed his captain's wide-eyed expression.
"Shit."
Shank's brief look of shock quickly faded into an almost childlike excitement.
"God, that is brilliant," he laughed, crouching down and tilting his head to examine the blade. "How's it work?"
"Some sort of spring-loaded trigger mechanism," you said. You knocked your heel down again and the blade retracted. You smirked a little yourself as Shanks straightened back out—his enthusiasm truly was contagious. "My father called them 'Ball-Busters.'"
That cracked him up immediately—he leaned his shoulder into the railing, laughing, while Benn gave a scoff and shook his head. "I'd say that's pretty goddamned accurate," the first mate said. "I got it from here," he added, pulling his rifle down from his shoulder and shoving it against the Marine's shoulder as you pulled your cutlass away and slipped the blade back into its scabbard. "Alright, over there with the other assholes," he said, nudging him with the barrel. "We're as sick of being here as you are of having us here."
You watched Benn usher the officer over toward the main mast, feeling oddly as if you were stuck in the middle of some strange dream you might wake up from at any minute—wake up back in the dark and dingy cell below the deck, down in the brig, getting dragged out to be shoved into an even darker cell in Impel Down for the rest of your days.
"Oh, you are just a treat." So lost in that thought were you that you jumped a little when Shanks wrapped an arm around your back again. "Come on, love. Let's get you changed and cleaned up." He pulled himself up onto the railing and stepped into a sturdy plank laid out between his own ship and the Marines', offering you his hand. You took it and he helped pull you up as well, his fingers lacing through yours as he gave you another charming smile. "I'd say you've more than earned it."
Your eyes remained locked for a long, tense moment, his thumb brushing across the back of your hand, your heart racing a little faster—until a particularly strong wave rocked both of the ships and made you stumble a little. He chuckled lightly, before leading you across the plank and onto the main deck of his own ship.
You felt more than a little out of your element a few minutes later, lingering near the door of the captain's quarters with your arms crossed over your stomach while Shanks rifled through a wardrobe against the wall. You were still a little apprehensive, your mind still lingering on the man's decision to sink the Marines' vessel solely on your behalf, but there was a charm about him that was almost intoxicating, and it was drawing you in quickly.
"Don't really have anything that's going to fit you properly," he said, pulling one shirt out and frowning at it before hanging it back up. "But there might be...something...."
You swallowed, glancing around the cabin—at the table to your left that was covered in maps, a desk in the corner with a closed logbook, a four-poster bed in another corner with a pair of floor to ceiling windows that overlooked the port side of the ship. It still all felt uncanny enough to be a dream.
"No...other women on the crew, I take it?" you said slowly.
"No," he affirmed, still pushing aside hangers and frowning. "Not as if it's intentional, it just...turned out that way, I suppose?" He said it with an air of genuine surprise himself that almost made you chuckle. "Seems most women aren't interested in sailing around with a ship full of—ah, this should do," he interjected, pulling out a white shirt on a metal hanger that seemed at least a little smaller than the others. "Probably haven't worn it since I was a teenager," he said, looking it up and down.
He gave the shirt an appraising nod, and then tossed it to you before crossing the room to take a seat at the desk. He noded once more toward the corner by the wardrobe where there stood a fold-out changing screen.
"You'll have to forgive me if I'm a little averse to leaving a stranger alone in my personal quarters. But..." He lifted his hand, smiling, before covering his eyes with it. "I promise I won't peek. Pirate's honor."
You did chuckle a little at that. It wasn't as though you weren't used to changing in less than totally private conditions—you had been living on the streets for just over two years. You crossed the room yourself, ducking behind the divider screen and pulling it out.
"Nor do I wish to be on the recieving end of the Ball-Buster," he added, and you laughed aloud at that.
"I've never actually used it," you said, hanging the shirt over the top edge of the screen and pulling your tank top over your head. "Not as more than a threat a couple times. The sight of it usually gets the point across."
"I can't fathom any circumstance where it wouldn't," he laughed. You heard him sigh after a moment, while you pulled down the hanger and unbuttoned the shirt he had given you. "Out of curiosity," he said finally, "why exactly were you being shipped to Impel Down?" You paused, your eyes flickering up to the changing screen, in the direction of his sillhouette—and noting that from his shadow alone you could tell he still had his hand over his eyes. "That's a privilege normally reserved for pirates and revolutionaries rather than petty local thieves."
"I, uh...." You swallowed, pulling your arms through the sleeves of the shirt. You hadn't been completely clear on every detail, but it seemed now was as good a time as any—even if it was painful to recall. "I...killed two Marines before I was apprehended."
"Did you?" he said lightly.
"Mmm." You set to buttoning the shirt, slowly, glancing toward his silhouette again. "I didn't...really mean to. After...I guess after my brother took a bullet for me, I just sort of...reacted. I don't even really remember much of it. Just—him falling, then them taking my swords and locking me in a storage closet before carting me off to the ship."
You truthfully weren't even sure how long you had remained at the base before being taken to the docks—locked in the dark, your arms wrapped around your knees, wondering if you were ever going to see daylight again, hoping it was all just some awful nightmare you might wake up from.
"That's...." You heard him sigh heavily. "That's a lot." You gave a small hum in agreement, looking down at the shirt, and sighing yourself—it fit you like a nightgown, the hem drooping nearly down to your knees. You shook your head and set to unbuttoning it again.
"I suppose the Marines had a good reason for treating me like trash," you allowed, rolling the hem of the shirt up and tying it in a knot at your midriff. You fastened a few of the buttons above the knot, and set to rolling up the sleeves. "I did kill a couple of their comrades."
"And they killed your brother," he pointed out.
You frowned to yourself, swallowing back a lump forming in your throat at his quiet, understanding tone. You glanced up again when you heard him shift, and watched his shadow stand and cross the room through the screen as you rolled up the other sleeve to just above your elbow. You pulled the screen back just as he reached it, your eyes meeting his the moment you did. The sympathy in his dark eyes was almost enough to break you in an instant. You glanced down at his hand when it came to rest on your shoulder for just a moment before your eyes snapped back to his.
"That doesn't—" He shook his head. "Nothing excuses fifty plus grown men treating a young woman like something a dog dragged in. Particularly not after what you went through." Your gaze fell away from his at that, down to the floor. "I'm assuming from what you've said—and forgive me if I'm wrong—that you'd never..." He paused, seeming to search for the correct words. "You'd never been forced to defend yourself before?"
You shook your head. You had practiced with your swords for years, sparred with both your father and your brother regularly, but you had never been in a situation where you had to truly fight for your life. You had definitely never killed anyone before. You barely recalled the details even now, and you honestly didn't want to remember them at all.
"Oh, sweetheart..." He let out a slow sigh, and wrapped his arm around your shoulders. You closed your eyes as he rest his hand lightly over your head, as a little tension you hadn't even been aware of released from your shoulders. Your head fell forward, resting against his chest, and you closed your eyes as he lowered his head over yours. "Just so we're clear...you don't have to stay here," he said gently, his thumb brushing across the crown of your hair. "You're not a prisoner, you're a guest. You can take a few days to decide. Or longer. But if you do..."
He moved his hand to your cheek, lifting your head gingerly until your eyes met his.
"This crew is like a family." He lowered his forehead to yours, his hand drifting down to your shoulder again as he offered you a warm smile. "And you'll be welcome to stay as long as wish. Alright?"
You swallowed, and nodded.
Lowered your head again, your breath shaking as it left your lungs, and you rest your forehead against his chest again, your eyes closing tightly. You weren't used to this—this degree of kindness, of compassion from much of anyone, much less a stranger...but something in his eyes, in the warmth of his touch, told you that he was being completely sincere.
"Th...thank you," you whispered—you couldn't think of anything else to say than that, nothing that could wholly express the emotion swelling in your chest.
He just chuckled lightly, wrapping his arm around your shoulders again.
"You're welcome, love."

august — ethan landry (part two)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
word count: 1,674
pairing: hockey player!ethan landry x fem!reader
summary: after a couple of days filled with avoidance and sadness, y/n and ethan finally talk.
author’s note: there was obviously no other way of ending august season than with part two. i loved writing these august stories, and i hope i didn’t disappoint with this second part <3
part one part two
Tumblr media
DAYS HAD GONE BY SINCE THE TALK AT THE PARKING LOT, SINCE Y/N ACCIDENTALLY TOLD ETHAN SHE LOVED HIM AND SINCE DREW FOUND ETHAN CRYING IN THE HALLWAY. The boy had been completely honest with Drew, telling him all about their summer. At first he was really pissed at Ethan, but then realized that, even though the boy had messed up badly, his intentions were good. He didn’t want to humiliate Betty in front of the school, but he could’ve handled things a bit better.
The day after the fight, Ethan broke up with Betty, and the news flashed around the school in the blink of an eye. Y/N had heard the rumours from Inez, but since most times you couldn’t believe a word she says—she was the gossip of the school and her data was almost always wrong—, she tried to ignore it.
“I think this time it is true” Willow said, talking about the break up rumour.
Y/N shrugged “I don’t know. Mr. Golden Boy doesn’t want to cause any unnecessary drama near the match” she said bitterly.
“I can’t believe he said that” her blonde friend shook her head in disbelief. “I honestly thought you’d be together by the end of the day.”
“Why?”
“Because it’s hard to resist those puppy brown ey- holy shit you look like you’re going to kill me” Willow laughed. “I’m just stating a fact, Y/N/N. I don’t have a crush on him or anything.”
“I was just too hurt to be deceived by his gorgeous, irresistible brown eyes” Y/N said.
“Even when you’re mad at him you’re simping” Willow laughed in amazement.
Y/N groaned “I’m hopeless. Everytime I compliment him, you have to pinch me in the arm.”
“Deal”

Y/N LAID ON HER BED STARING AT THE CEILING WISHING TIME WOULD SLOW DOWN. It was the day of the match, she had her brother’s jersey on—which made her sad because it reminded her of when she wore Ethan’s—and was waiting for his brother to be ready to go to the venue.
She wanted time to freeze, she wanted to avoid that hockey game. Obviously, the reason why she was dreading to go was Ethan. She hadn’t seen his stunning face since the parking lot disaster, she had been playing hide-and-seek with him, doing everything not to cross paths with him. Not that Ethan had tried talking to her—which made her both relieved and angry.
“This is too close” Y/N sighed, as they sat on the bench, very near the ice rink.
“Relax, he will be wearing a helmet. You’re safe from his charm” Willow tried calmed her down.
“His charm is also his ridiculous tall frame” Y/N replied.
“God” Willow groaned in frustration. “You two need to talk cause you’re driving me crazy.”
Y/N looked at her guiltily “I’m sorry, Willow. I’m the worst.”
“Fuck, no no. Now I feel bad, I was kidding, Y/N/N” she hugged her. “But seriously, are you ever going to talk about it properly?”
“I don’t know” Y/N looked down at her lap. “He hasn’t tried to… maybe he’s done with me.”
“I doubt that.” Willow said confidently.
“Do you think I should be the one who makes the first step?” Y/N asked.
The blond girl shook her head “No, he’s the one who should be apologizing.”
“Right” she said, shifting on her seat.
Willow eyed the action carefully. “You’re actually thinking about making the first step.” she accused her.
“It has crossed my mind several times, but I’m not going to do it” she assured her. “I really miss him, tho.”
“I know” Willow took her hand in comfort.
The players entered the rink, and Drew instantly searched for his sister, waving at her. She waved back just as enthusiastically as him.
“Golden boy alert” Willow whispered from beside her.
Right behind Drew stood Ethan. Y/N couldn’t see his face, as it was covered by the helmet, but his broad shoulders and large frame were recognisable. For a moment, she forgot what had happened between them, and she almost smiled. It was like a reflect, because that’s what she used to do every time he looked at her from the rink.
Ethan would be lying if he said he had forgotten how pretty Y/N looked on that hockey jersey, because the image of her in it lingered on his mind. Everything about her was tattooed on his mind. He wanted to skate towards her and hug her until his arms grew restless, and he probably would’ve, if the whistle hadn’t blown.
When Ethan scored the first goal, Y/N’s chest bursted with proudness and happiness and celebrated loudly with the rest of the spectators. And then, Ethan broke the group hug to look towards the seats—towards her. He raised his hockey stick to point it at her, and Y/N stood frozen on her place as she felt countless pairs of eyes glued to her frame.
“Did he just-“ Y/N whispered, to no one in particular.
“Holy shit, Y/N/N” Willow said, almost as shocked as her. “He dedicated you his fucking goal. In front of the whole university. And you thought he was done with you.”
She couldn’t help but smile widely. Was she weak? Maybe. But she just missed him too much to be mad anymore.

THE CELEBRATION PARTY WAS APPARENTLY HOSTED BY DREW, SO Y/N ARRIVED HOME AND SOON IT WAS FILLED WITH DRUNK PEOPLE AND LOUD MUSIC. She locked her room and decided to stay in her porch listening to her own music. People that passed by looked at her weirdly. Everyone was partying in their nice outfits and she was sitting outside alone, in her pjs and cardigan.
Ethan saw her as he got closer to her house, and his chest compressed. It was like he couldn’t breathe. He just showed up to the party to talk to her. The speech had been rehearsed in front of the mirror ever since he got home the day of their fallout. He had dreamed about this countless of times, and he had seen every possible outcome. Hopefully, the night would end with both of them kissing on the porch.
Y/N raised her head at the sound of the wood creaking, and there he was—standing in her front porch light, with his sequin smile, Levi’s and a hoodie.
“Hi” she said softly. Her voice felt like a caress to his ears.
“You’re here alone” Ethan said confused, leaning against the wooden railing, right in front of her.
“I hate the crowds, you know that.” Y/N said simply. “You’re not dressed for a party.”
“I didn’t come here for the party” Ethan confessed. Y/N looked at him expectantly. “I know that what I did to you was the worst, but I swear I didn’t mean to hurt you. I… I don’t have feelings for Betty, but I didn’t want her to be humiliated in the hallways, so I thought I should wait until the end of classes. And then she pulled my arm around her, and you saw it and-shit I messed up so badly, Y/N. I’m not proud of how I handled things. I don’t know if you’ll forgive me, but I don’t want you to doubt that I love you. Because I do, so fucking much. The only thing I want to do is make it up to you, so tell me what you need—time, not to talk to you ever again, punch me. Whatever. But I really am sorry and I miss you.”
There. He finally explained things, and now it was up to her. Would she have him? Would she still want him? Or would she tell him to go fuck himself?
“I’m not going to say I overreacted, because I didn’t. That day felt like a punch in the face, but I understand what you did. We both handled things horribly, we were so consumed by us that we should’ve realized it was something that needed to be addressed before classes started.” Y/N said, and then smiled so beautifully that Ethan wanted to cry. He didn’t want to stop having the privilege of seeing it. He needed her back. “You’re a good person, way better than me, because I didn’t even think about what it would be like for Betty.”
“Well, she has always been mean to you…” Ethan spoke.
“Yeah, but still. It was bitchy of me, and sweet of you. I’m sorry, I should’ve let you explain way earlier but…”
Ethan shook his head. “You were hurt, I get that. I understand, and you shouldn’t apologise for that.”
Y/N stood up, cardigan sliding from one of her shoulders, and slowly made her way to him. “Hi”
Ethan chuckled and the corners of her lips turned upwards. She had missed making him laugh, but above all she missed the way his eyes shone when he laughed. “Hi… hey, what happened to your arm?” he asked, dragging the fabric of the cardigan even lower to inspect her bruises.
“Oh… that was Willow” Y/N said, and the boy widened his eyes.
“Willow hit you?!”
“No, she just pinched me a lot… because I asked her to” she explained, but Ethan looked even more confused. “Never mind, just don’t worry about it.”
“Your kinks turned weird” Ethan laughed when she bumped her shoulder with his. Then, he patted the wooden rail next to him. “Sit here.”
“What are we doing?” she asked when he took a step closer, stepping between her legs. Ethan just lowered his head to press kisses on her bruises.
“There, I kissed it better” Ethan smiled. Y/N couldn’t believe how a human being could be so adorable.
She wrapped her arms around his waist and rested the side of her face on his chest. “I missed you. I love you”
“Missed you too, and love you even more” he put his forehead on her shoulder, embracing the confort that the girl’s touch gave him. A few minutes passed, and Y/N called his name to make him look up. “Yeah?”
“I want to kiss you” Y/N whispered.
“Do it. I’m certainly not opposed.”
Their lips met with eagerness after days of pining and longing, and they didn’t stop moving until a group of drunk players stepped on the porch.
“Want to go my car?” Y/N asked, and Ethan nodded immediately.
The back of her car was a bit small for both of them, but they didn’t care. Being with each other was all they needed.

Mike Schmidt x Male reader
1/2
Mike is such a little meow meow boy and as such I've declared him a bottom (my opinion means nothing) my first actual fic
Mild NSFW
It's late around 6 pm, your lazeing on your couch in nothing but your boxers and sweater, when you hear a knock on your door, reluctantly you get out of your comfortable spot in front of your TV to get it. Peaking through your peep hole you see your perpetually tired and pretty neighbor, Mike and suddenly you feel like maybe you should have made the extra stop to put on pants. But you're here now so you open the door, "Hello," you say nervously hiding half way behind your door hoping he doesn't notice the Minecraft boxers wrapped around your waist " what brings you over?" He looks anxious now that you've opened the door a little drop of sweat forming on his brow , "um I'm sorry to intrude and all but um..." He shifted nervously from foot to foot then said "Can you watch my little sister I have to go to work and my usual sitter is M.I.A." You think for a second then ask "What do I get out of it?" You knew he was struggling so you didn't expect money you just wanted to make the brown eyed boy squirm. "Anything." He half sighed "Anything?" You repeat questioningly "Anything" he said looking at you with his big brown eyes, how could anyone say no to him with eyes like that you thought before stating "ok I'm holding you to that."
You quickly go back inside and put on a pair of sweatpants and shut down your house before following him across the street to his place it was a carbon copy of your house just a few things were different. He leads you inside where he tells you what your responsibilities and such are like his sister's name is Abby and she spends most her time drawing and that she already ate dinner so u just gotta make sure the house doesn't burn down while he's gone, well that's what you got between checking him out and his anxious chatter. Then after that little speech he says bye to his sister to her protest as she doesn't want to be separated from her big brother, then once he separates from her he says a polite "bye" and heads out the door. Which leaves you alone with a kid you only met once before when you first moved in. Honestly you had no idea why he trusted you to watch his sister but you got to know the pretty neighbor boy better so that's a plus.
You slowly make your way to Abby's room knocking lightly, "hey can I come in?" You ask and the door is opened by the small girl. "So you're who's watching me now?" She asked unimpressed. You just nod, man kids are rude then what she said next gave you a bit of a shock, " I don't get why he talks about you so much, anyway do you like drawing," you chuckle lightly "of course, I love drawing." So you drew with the kid until she fell asleep at her desk. She is a cute kid you thought to yourself as you tucked her into bed. You then went and sat on his couch and fell asleep watching his TV.
You feel the couch dip as someone sits on it waking you, you look over to see mike then look at the clock its 10 am and you groggily say "sorry for falling asleep for so long." He looked over and apparently he didn't notice you woke up. "Sorry for waking you." He said in a whispered voice, God his voice is really nice. " So I've been thinking about what you can do to pay me." You say slyly. "Yeah," he said curiously "what?" You smirk " I'd except payment with a kiss." He instantly flushed and looked away a little bit of sweat beginning to form. You quickly say "it was just an idea you don't have to." You beginning to believe you read him wrong only for him to say "no it's ok," he turned to look at you "I was just caught off guard." He then grabbed your face giving you a small peck. Your hands going to rest on his hips as you kiss him, this one lasting longer. The kisses got more heated with each one before he pulled back, a little gasp coming from between his chapped lips. "Oh god." He groaned quietly, you gently pulled him onto your lap giving he plenty of time to pull away if he wished. His hands now rest on your shoulders, as you slowly kiss his neck his stubble scratching your face. He let out little whimpers and whines his hands going to pull on your hair. Then he jolted a little and began peeling himself away from your grasp. "hmmm..?" U look up at his questioningly "um I think um maybe we should stop, I'm really tired, and I gotta take care of Abby when she gets back." He looked nervous. it was cute his face was flushed, a tent in his worn blue jeans, and his brown eyes almost totally eclipsed by his pupils. Thought he did look like he was about to fall asleep on his feet "yeah you should get some rest." You stood up a tent in your pants as well. "Can u watch Abby again tonight?" he asked nervously "she seems to really like you." You smirk at him "you don't have to pretend you don't just want to see me again, and of course I'll come back if that's my payment." You give him one more kiss he whines into and then you go back to your place the house seems so empty compared to his. The warm lights seeming cold and the rooms look bare, but that's how it always is.

Getting the boys to draw your tattoo TMNT x platonic!gn!reader
I will also be doing a romantic reader as well!!
Description: the boys are like family to you so you get the boys to draw something small not knowing you’re getting it tattooed on yourself
Tumblr media
You’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately. You’ve been thinking about how you don’t really have family nearby, not like you’re very close to them anyways, and you’ve been thinking about how the boys have been the best family you could’ve asked for. They took you in when you were going through tough times and they have been your best friends throughout your lifetime. You’ve been trying to show them how important they are to you and you saw a trend on tiktok where someone gets their family to draw a flower and get it tattooed on them. The reactions of the family members were so cute and honestly, what a better way to show your appreciation and love for your family.
You went to Donnie’s lab and asked for a piece of paper and pen and immediately asked him to draw a flower on it. Donnie looked at you and then at the paper that was being shoved in his face by you. “Uhh, sure. Is there a particular flower you want me to draw?” You thought for a moment and just gave a small smile, “I’m sure you have a favorite one, why don’t you draw that?” Donnie smiled and said, “Of course I have one.” He took his time when it came to drawing a lotus flower and as he drew it, he rambled on about the meaning behind it and the medicinal purposes it had in the past. Every now and then, he would scrunch his nose at it not being perfect, but eventually he was pleased with the outcome and handed it over to you. You took a good look at it and felt yourself smile at how cute it looked. “Is it good enough?” he asked you. “Oh, it’s perfect, Don. Thank you!” you said and gave him a quick hug. One that was immediately returned.
You were thinking of which one of the brothers would be the hardest to get them to draw a flower and your mind landed on Leo. Yeah, he's definitely going to be the last one on your list. You were about to go look for Raph when you’re suddenly picked up and your back is flush against their chest with a loud yell of your name and you start to giggle as Mikey spins. “You gotta watch out angel! I almost slammed into you,” Mikey says as he puts you down on his skateboard. You put the pieces together and realize you walked in his way. How convenient. “Come chill with me for a minute amigo(a),” he put his hands on your waist and guided you towards the couch as you tried to balance on the board. As soon as you got into the living room area you both sat down on the couch as Mikey started up a game that he wanted you to play with him. You ended up playing the game with him for a while before you remembered the original plan you had for the day. After losing the round you were in you gave a dramatic sigh after Mikey’s loud cheer. “If only, you could make it up to me for beating me in the first round,” you emphasized with an even longer, dragged out sigh as you lay across his lap to make sure you have his full attention. “Ok, ok! What can I do?” you handed him a piece of paper and a pen, “I would love a lil flower from my favorite ‘arteest’.” “Awww, yeah I can do that for you angelbaby.” You sit up with a big smile on your face and watch as he does a dahlia with great detail. You loved it so much, but you know the other two turtles aren’t going to be as professional. You didn’t say anything about it though because you love the fact that they’ll all be unique to them. “Is this good enough Y/N?” “Oh, Mikey. It’s perfect! Thank you so much!” You knocked him back from the force of your hug which made the both of you laugh and as Mikey sat you both up, he gave you a small peck on your forehead. Before he could ask why you wanted it, you were up and running to go find Raph.
You didn’t hear him moving around in the workout room so you headed to his room. You knocked on his door and before he could finish saying “come in” you practically kicked the door open and walked in to see him reading a comic. He sighed at how you barged in, but other than that, he didn’t look up from the pages he was reading. “Raph, you better move the comic,” you warned. “Oh yeah? Or else what shorty?” You closed the door and backed up against the door before leaning forward a bit as you were about to give yourself a head-start. He knew immediately what you were about to do and his eyes widened a bit, “Hey hey! Wait!” but it was too late you were already using the end of his bed to help you jump up as you were about to body slam him into the bed. He was quick enough to at least grab the pillow from next to him to place on his chest. You landed hard on his chest but it was much softer than what it would’ve been without the pillow. It helps when he also prevents you from bouncing off of him and landing on the ground instead because he wrapped his arm around you. Raph couldn’t help but let out a small chuckle after you let out a groan. “If only yuh thought that one through.” You just rested your head against his chest with a small, “noted”. He let out another chuckle as he started to gently rub your back with his thumb and looked back at his comic in his other hand. You nearly fell asleep until you turned your head to see what comic he was reading, only to see Poison Ivy. You are once again reminded of your mission. You place your chin on his chest as you look up to ask him your question. “Hey Raphie?” “Hmm” “Can I ask you a favor?” “Depends. Do I gotta get up?” You shook your head and he looked down at you with a small exhale from his nose, “Ight. What do I gotta do?” You moved onto the empty side of his bed and brought out the paper and pen. “All you gotta do is draw a flower and I’ll be outta your hair.” He grabbed the pen and paper and almost looked shy about it. “I ain’t as good of a drawer as Mikey.” “That’s ok! It can be a simple flower. It doesn’t have to be anything crazy.” He looked back down at the paper in his hand and then he let out a small sigh. “Ight,” he said as he started drawing a small sunflower. You smiled knowing you love sunflowers and that he decided to draw your favorite just because you asked him. It made you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. He finished it up and handed it to you and you thanked him before giving him a big hug, “yeah yeah. Don’t mention it shorty.” You got up to head out before adding a small, “see ya at dinner!” before walking out and closing his door.
You were practically skipping your way to find Leo. You walked by his room and noticed he wasn’t there. You passed by Splinter’s meditation room and noticed he wasn’t there either. Next stop: dojo. You finally reached it and leaned your head into the doorway. Leo was training with his swords. He was in the middle of a flip when you walked in quietly and sat a safe distance away from him. Leo wrapped up the routine he was doing when he bowed and placed his swords back into their sheaths. He came up to you and patted your head before sitting down in front of you. “What’s up Y/N?” he asked as he was about to set you guys up for some small meditation. “Well I wanted to see how your day has been so far?” “And?” your smile fell a small bit. “Well it’s a small favor to ask, but I do wanna know how you’ve been. Don’t want you to think I’m just here for my silly little things.” He let out a small laugh, “No, I know you do Y/N. I know you have your silly little things, but I’m not upset with any of your silly ideas or things you bring to me.” You smiled big at that because you know you can get a little annoyed about things sometimes, but it gives you small moments together. You know that sometimes it helps him after tense moments because he tends to at least smile by the end of your conversation. You guys had some small talk when there was a small pause and he finally asked, “so what can I help you with?” You grabbed one of the last two papers left and handed it to him with the pen. “I was hoping you could draw a flower?” you asked softly, knowing he was about to ask why and you know you’re not good at hiding secrets from him. “I think you know what I’m about to ask,” you sighed a little before giving a small giggle, “Yeah, yeah. It’s just something I’m planning on doing. I don’t want to spoil the surprise though.” He raised a brow, “a surprise, huh?” He gave a small smile, “You know I’m not good at surprises and neither are you.” You grab your heart dramatically, “you wound me Leo.” He wasn’t wrong. Every time you have a surprise you get too excited and accidentally spoil it. He chuckled and then started to draw an orchid. He was actually drawing it pretty well. You lean in closer to watch him finish his drawing. “You’re doing really well, surprisingly.” “Surprisingly! Hey, I’m not that bad at these kinds of things.” You both laughed as he handed it to you and you nearly squealed in excitement because now you have your tattoo. You stood up quickly and kissed the top of his head and gave it a rub, “thanks Buddha!” and ran out before he could grab you. “Hey!”
Last, but not least, you had to get Master Splinter. He was the wisest and best father figure you've ever had. You would often go to him whenever you were struggling and he always gave the best advice. Heading towards the meditation room, you paused in front of the entrance. You were getting a bit emotional just thinking about his addition to your piece and had to close your eyes to keep the tears from spilling. It was so important to you that you added one from him. You take a deep breath before opening your eyes to be greeted by Master Splinter standing in front of you. You couldn't help the little jump you had and heard Splinter give a small chuckle. "My child, what can I do for you?" he asked calmly. "U-Uh, I was just wondering if we could have some tea together? I have a small question to ask," you said softly. Splinter stepped to the side and gestured to the cushions on the floor. You went to sit down and Splinter sat down in his spot and poured out the tea that he just brought in before you got there. You grab your cup and take a sip and feel the warmth of it going through your chest. "So, what's the question you have for me?" You look at him and give a small smile, "Master Splinter, I just have a rather, simple request." He gave a small hum waiting for you to continue. "I was going around and wanted to ask if you could draw a flower for me? It could be any flower you like, it's just I wanted, ya know, a small piece of everyone." You looked up to meet his eyes. "Hmm, it is a simple request," he gave a small smile making you smile as well, "so simple... that I can fulfill it." You smiled even bigger and grabbed your last piece of paper and handed it to him with the pen you had. He grabbed them from your hands and gave only of them a squeeze before he softly sketched a hydrangea. "You know, this flower symbolizes gratitude. It also grows so closely together, that some view it as a familial bond with it," you hold your breath a little taking in his words. "It is a beautiful flower, one that I love associating with my children," he smiled as he finished and handed the paper to you. "I hope you keep it close to your heart, the way that I do." You looked at the drawing and couldn't help the tears pooling in your eyes and you cleared your throat to hide the tremble in your voice. "I definitely will, Master Splinter," you said as you got up and bowed to him before quickly blurting out, "Thank you so much, I-I greatly appreciate you doing this for me." You turned and walked out of the room and out of the lair with haste so no one saw you cry.
~~~~~
You’re running back to the lair with so much excitement to show the boys the tattoo you got. It just finished healing and you can’t believe you managed to go two and a half weeks without spilling the beans. Finally making it through the main entrance, you yelled out “Guys!! Come to the kitchen!!” Thank goodness no one was asleep because you would’ve been met with fire. Once everyone was gathered in the kitchen and sitting in their seats, you decided to give the speech you planned out for them. “So. As you all know, I asked you guys to draw a flower for me. However, I didn’t tell you, guys, why. Well. I was thinking of how to show you guys how much you mean to me as a family and,” you pull up your sleeve to show them the artwork on the inside of your elbow, “I wanted to be able to have a piece of you guys with me. You guys are honestly the most important people in my life and I feel so much love for and from you guys.” You look up from the tattoo to look at the boys and you’re receiving mixed reactions. You suddenly get a little shy. What if they don’t feel like your family? However, Mikey stands up and walks in front of you and wraps his arms around you, and shoves his face into the crook of your neck. You’ve never heard him so quiet and before you could say anything, you hear him sniffling. You wrap your arms around him tightly and start tearing up yourself. Leo, Raph, and Donnie stand up and wrap themselves around you guys. You look up and see the other boys are also tearing up. You have to hold back from letting out a sob. You’re so happy the boys reacted so well. You all stand there for a while before the guys pull back from you. Each one of them wanted to see your tattoo, but Mikey was first. He grabs your arm and looks at the tattoo closely, “I can’t believe someone got my art on them permanently.” Raph comes up behind him and takes your arm from Mikey, “I can’t believe it either. Especially with my mediocre scribbles.” Raphael then gives your head a loving pat. Donnie comes up next, “man, they did a great job on it too. You’ve always been a part of our family, Y/N.” The boys back up a bit as Leo steps forward. He gingerly grabs your arm and says, “this… is the best surprise.” You smile real big and jump on him wrapping your arms and legs around him. “The best family ever!!” you yell. "Oh OH! Have you shown Master Splinter yet?" Mikey yelled out, "U-Uh no, not yet." "Let's go!" Mikey said dragging you towards the meditation room. He practically pushed you into the room making you stumble and almost fall. Thank goodness everyone has ninja skills in this place because you were caught instantly by Splinter. "Y/N, how nice of you to join me," he said as he stood you back on your feet. "Master Splinter! I'm so sorry!" "I'm assuming you have something you want to share with me, my child." "Yes, I do. Um. Remember how I asked you for the flower? I wanted to show you and the guys how much you mean to me as a family and.." you strayed off as you lifted your sleeve, "I now have a piece of you all with me." Splinter cradled your arm gently. He looked up at you and smiled, "I'm so glad to have you as family, Y/N. I hope you remember the meaning of my flower." You were about to say yes when Mikey nearly tackled your back with excitement about his dad welcoming you into the family making Splinter chuckle as the rest trickled into the room happy to have a new addition to their little family.
Kelly had been taken off shift as soon as Boden was informed of your predicament. A replacement came in and Kelly left 51 with everyone on edge.
With Trudy's permission, Kelly joined Hailey along with all the other units as they scoured the streets, looking up and down and all around for any sign of any of the Halsteads.
Kelly could remember it as though it was yesterday. The Murray brothers first came into their lives on a call that both 51 and intelligence responded to, a mere coincidence honestly and Med was the nearest hospital, so it only made sense.
The ever intriguing and elusive Halstead siblings drew in the Murray's and low and behold, several days later, you never turned up to shift.
Your kidnapping several years ago, a moment in all your lives that had been buried deep had suddenly resurfaced and Kelly could only think and prepare himself for the worst.
Huffing in par anger and par disappointment, Kelly looked up to the darkening sky, the sunset slowly fading would usually be a beautiful sight but today, it had no significance to him. In fact, it only made him think of you more.
"Come one Severide." Hailey pressed her lips together tightly, her smile strained and eyes dim. She was just as exhausted and distraught as him, she knew exactly what he was going through. "Everyone's reconveing with Trudy."
Before Kelly could reply, a phone went off. Confused, both he and Hailey checked their individual phones, Kelly tucking his back into his pocket when it wasn't his.
Already on edge, Kelly stood nervously, watching Hailey's face closely for any sign as to what she was being told.
"We need to go to Med."
*****
"Listen, I'm fine! Back off and let me go!"
Hailey swallowed thickly, heart thundering out of her chest as she heard the voice she adored in secret. Picking up the pace, she pulled open the curtains and stood frozen in the trauma doorway.
"Jay." She said breathlessly, refusing to blink in fear that this was all a dream and she was going to wake up to the reality that he wasn't here at Med and alive.
"Thank goodness Hailey." Jay let himself deflate ever so slightly at the sight of his partner, but there was no time for pleasantries. "Get me out of here."
Hailey only now let herself blink, several times in fact due to her shock at her partners words. Jay was covered in blood and it was obvious to the naked eye that he was hurt. She heard the 911 audio, she knew he'd been shot but God knows how many injuries had been inflicted onto him.
Hailey hadn't been in Intelligence when the Murray brothers first came about, neither was she there for any of the Halstead siblings separate kidnappings so she was trekking in unknown territory.
"Listen Ethan, Will patched me up good." Jay began, turning to the Korean doctor who he knew was concerned about all of their well-beings'. "As soon as I get them back, I'll get seen."
Ethan wanted to argue but knew there was nothing stopping the middle sibling, rolling his eyes he turned to Maggie and asked for some painkillers before addressing him. "The second they're found, you're back in this treatment room."
"Scout's honour doc." Jay promised seriously, taking the tablets and chugging them back with some water he was given by Maggie. "I'll be fine."
And with that, Jay was walking out the room with Hailey trying to keep up with him.
"Jay? What the hell happened?" Hailey asked, picking up her pace so she could stay in step with him. She took note of the fire burning in his eyes and the determination he had in each step despite being injured.
"Where's Voight and everyone else?" Jay asked, ignoring her question as he caught sight of Severide leaning against Hailey's parked car outside the ER.
"They're on their way back." Hailey said, nodding at Kelly to get in the car, shaking her head at him so he wouldn't ask any questions despite how much he wanted to.
"Your hurt and you’re bleeding Jay, you need-“
“My brother and my sister are on the verge of death Hailey!” Jay shouted with a mix of fear, anger and hurt. “They’re bleeding somewhere and my baby sister is scared to death and I need to help them.”
His shouts echoed in the packed out parking lot, his chest heaving as he went on with no one stopping him.
“Will and Y/N are all I have left Hailey.” Jay said shakily, largely contrasting the sheer force he just spoke in. “I’m going to help, I don’t care if it’s the last thing I do.”
There was nothing stopping a man who was about to lose all that he had left to live for.
*****
Intelligence was finally whole again with the addition of Trudy and Kelly, all huddled together under a tent that was set up on middle ground.
When they arrived back in Chicago, the sheer amount of shock on everyone's face was evident.
Trudy had sworn everyone to secrecy but when she first saw Jay, her motherly instincts acted upon themselves as she squeezed the daylights out of him without causing any further injury.
"They dumped me." Jay said, revealing to the team how he'd gotten here. "They suddenly decided to move locations again and decided to dump me around the corner from Med which means they want me alive."
"What about Will and Y/N?" Antonio asked, being the first person to interject Jay since he started to unravel all the small necessary things.
Jay clenched and unclenched his jaw, his eye twitching in frustration as he folded his arms.
"They're still with Jackson and Ezra."
"No offense Jay but why would they get rid of you instead of Will?" Adam genuinely asked, confused as to why two criminals would release the ex-ranger and detective instead of the ER doctor.
All of a sudden, Jay looked like he was going to be sick. Like his new train of thought was going to make him throw up then and there.
"They want to keep Y/N alive for as long as possible, and only Will can do that."
And now I have made a part 3 of the human Cookies, this time featuring the Legendaries
You know I’m noticing that recently I’ve been drawing a lot more. I mean I’ve drawn 3 pieces in the last two days and I drew stuff last week. Seems my medication is at least helping something, even if it’s not me doing actual work to get my life together like my parents hoped. But hey, it personally makes me happy I’m drawing more, so it’s at least somewhat of a win
I think I was spurred on to do this one because I was playing around with the Mii maker on my 3DS, and I was making Cookies and started making the Legendaries
I will say, the Legendaries are probably some of the more difficult characters to translate into normal humans, since their designs are more fantastical. Almost all of their hair is made of something not normal, like fire, grass or water, so I have to try and make it at least semi-cohesive. It also means a lot of hair dye
I admit, while Wind Archer doesn’t look terrible, he does look very boring, like a generic guy. But frankly I just don’t see him using hair dye, or getting a lot of piercings. He doesn’t feel like someone who would to me, and so he looks boring
On the subject of designs I’m not satisfied with, I think Sugar Swan came out the worst. I just legit didn’t know what to do with her design. I’m a proponent of short haired Sugar Swan, so I gave her that, but I don’t think it turned out the best. I also wasn’t sure how to incorporate all the wings and swan thing on her head. I got that but it’s not that great
Originally in Sugar Swan’s spot was Millennial Tree, but he wasn’t turning out great so I tried doing Sugar Swan in his spot. Maybe that spot was just cursed or something
I think my personal favorite of the bunch is Sea Fairy, I think she turned out fun. Honestly I can see her going either way with the hair dye, so might as well just give her the blue. The buzz cut thing was actually something I got from another Sea Fairy design that I really like. I was debating between her having black or dirty blonde hair, but I eventually settled on the blonde
Moonlight and Stardust were pretty fun. With Stardust, I wasn’t sure whether I should have him dye his whole hair blue or have him bleach the front of his hair. I asked on Discord and they said the latter, so that’s what I did. But also note, I realized that if I were to try and give him bleached front and also potentially blue tips, he would have had Yugi Moto anime hair, but just flattened down instead of all spiky. Like I’ve seen people draw Yugi with hair similar to it
I wasn’t really feeling it after Sugar Swan’s failed design, but Fire Spirit got my mojo back, I think he turned out good. And with that I was able to make a Millennial Tree design I liked a lot more (while also looking at someone else’s interpretation of his design and deciding to use locs as well). Maybe not the best but not as bad as it was before
I kind of threw in Frost Queen because last spot and also she is an elemental Legendary. With her, instead of her hair being dyed, it’s supposed to be that her hair has actually turned white from either stress or age, with a tiny bit of her blonde still there at the ends. Don’t know why I picked blonde other than light color though
In my head while I was drawing, I was trying to come up with human things for them to do, but I really only got as far as the Dessert guys and the Wizard guys
Moonlight is the heiress of the “Wizard’s” estate, and she lives there and is the self proclaimed custodian. I’m not really sure what Blueberry Pie and Sugar Glass are doing there, but they’re probably also here. I also don’t know what the estate really is, I just have the idea that it’s a big place that the “Wizards” used as a research place, until they just stopped using it or disbanded or died or something. Stardust meanwhile is either Moonlight’s half brother she didn’t know about, or they’re full siblings who were orphaned and then separated at a young age via the foster care system. Stardust’s journey there would be him learning of his sister and her location and then I suppose hitchhiking his way there until he arrived
Meanwhile, Sugar Swan owns this wildlife preserve, which is the Dessert Paradise (probably goes by another name but I can see “Paradise” still being in the name), meanwhile the Dessert guardians, including Wind Archer, are the other caretakers that manage and guard the preserve. Are they also Sugar Swan’s kids? Maybe, I don’t know. Wind Archer probably is though, and maybe Millie’s his dad, I’m not sure
Frost Queen I think is just an accomplished doctor who lives in a more remote area and takes care of patients with a rare condition that she specializes in the treatment of (and also contracted herself when she was younger). She also just kind of dresses like that I guess
Genuinely I don’t know what Fire Spirit does, he might just be like, Pitaya’s adopted son or works under Pitaya, I don’t know. I can’t see him with much of a job
I imagine Sea Fairy has some sort of job (that she might neglect), but I have no clue what that job would be, since it presumably impacts both Black Pearl and Abyss Monarch in some big way, so like, running an aquarium might be too low stakes. Her crush on Moonlight might be something like she met this cute astronomer one time at some sort of astronomy conference or something, but she doesn’t know where she lives and so doesn’t know how to meet her again. Moonlight also thought she was cute, but again, doesn’t know where she lives
And yeah, I think that’s about it. I hope you enjoy these designs
The Violet Dagger
Aemond x Stark! Reader
Warnings: NSFW, smut
Tumblr media
thank you so much to my angels @arcielee & @raphaellathedragon for helping with this!!
Tumblr media
Aemond looked around the room, sitting down on the furthest chair at the table, his legs crossed, goblet of wine in one hand, his other in a fist on the table.
Usually, he wouldn’t drink, he would leave that to his brother, who was currently nowhere to be seen. But tonight, he needed it.
He hated state dinners that his mother made him attend, he did it for her, of course. Aemond loathed how the lords around him behaved, drinking and making fools of themselves, whilst the ladies danced to impress their prospective suitors as if their life depended on it.
Until you.
He’d noticed you an hour or so ago, trying to ask your father if you could retire to bed, which he had denied. You sat on your own in the opposite corner, ignoring the old, fat lords that begged you to dance with them.
From the colour of your dress, Aemond could tell you were a Stark, the younger sister of Cregan, he deduced.
What drew Aemond’s attention was the glint of a dagger he could see under the table as you played with it. Passing the time by practicing your knife skills, something your parents would definitely disapprove of.
You didn’t even notice Aemond’s gaze on you for a while, too busy focusing on twiddling your fingers around the small, violet dagger.
Eventually, he made his way across the room, to sit opposite you. You did not look up and instead sighed, thinking another half wit lord had come to attempt to seduce you.
“I’m sorry my lord, but I am not interested,” you say without even looking up.
“I believe it’s my prince to you,” Aemond states and you look up in shock. “Oh, I’m sorry my Prince…I…I did not realise,” you blushed as Aemond chuckled.
“You looked like you needed…company,” Aemond said quietly. “I can help you keep those lords off your back, if you like.”
You looked up at him, confused, why would he help you?
“I would appreciate that, my prince,” you smiled at him.
“In exchange,” he almost interrupted you, “show me that dagger, it looks…beautiful.”
You turned red, you had been caught. If your parents found out…
“Not here, my prince, it is not…ladylike,” you whisper.
“Come with me then,” Aemond stands up, holding out a hand.
You look around at the room filled with people. “They are too drunk to notice,” Aemond says, almost reading your mind.
He leads you out of the grand room and into the darkened hallway, you follow behind him, attempting to exude the same confidence he did. Eventually, Aemond stops at the large oak doors, taking you to his favorite place. As he opens them, a glimmer of golden light falls into the corridor. The library is full of Targaryen history and golden in the firelight, the shelves a rainbow of book spines.
Aemond sits down in a large red chair, you could tell he was finally in a place he could fully be himself. Nervously, you sat opposite him, taking out the dagger from a pocket you had made in your dress.
You hand it to him and he takes the dagger as if it is gold, gliding it through his hands as the firelight twinkles on the jewelled handle. “It is truly very pretty my lady, as are you,” Aemond speaks confidently, making you blush.
“What would a prince want with a young Stark lady like myself?” You ask, trying to once again seem confident.
“I like interesting people,” is all he replies with.
“You find me…interesting?” You ask, looking up at him, he doesn’t meet your eyes, still staring down at the small knife.
He ignores your question, asking one of his own. “Why would a lady need such a thing?” He asks.
“To protect myself,” you state, honestly. “There have been many encounters where men have tried to steal my virtue to discredit my father, I would not let such a thing happen to my family.”
Aemond looks up at you, reading your expression and feeling your pain, your need to protect your family.
“I could protect you,” he blurts out without thinking. “…I mean, if you are to stay here, I could make sure that you have guards to protect you,” he tries to recover his moment of weakness.
When he saw you in that room, alone, he knew you were like him. You didn’t care for the drinking or the dutiful dinners, you cared about people, about doing things correctly.
“I’d like that,” you respond, smiling. As you moved to take the dagger back from him, your hands touched, like a spark igniting between the two of you.
“I could show you some tricks with the dagger if you want,” he replied as you took it. You twiddled the silver between your fingers, the twirl of silver and purple enthralling to Aemond. “You must carry one with you, do you not?” Aemond smiled, she knew him so well already. He pulled out a black dagger of his own.
Aemond spent the next hour teaching her everything he’d learnt growing up, the best places to aim, clever little tricks he’d learnt. All she could do was smile at him in awe. They’d both felt like twin flames, two people destined to meet. Every touch felt like fire, making them both feel more and more alive.
“Maybe next time I could show you some combat moves?” Aemond asked delicately, hoping it was insinuating enough to show how he felt about her. “I’d like that,” you smiled, standing up, “however, if I don’t go back soon, I’m afraid there will be a search party.” Aemond nodded, watching you once again hide the silver metal in your skirts.
The following evening, you managed to sneak out from your chambers to the library, convincing the guards you needed to see your mother. Your long, dark blue dress flowed behind you as you walked through the door, only to find Aemond waiting for you, twiddling his knife between his fingers. He looked up, smiling as you walked in, standing up to greet you more formally. “My lady,” he bowed, always one for tradition. “Just call me Y/N, Aemond, it’s only us here” you smiled.
He looked up at you, smiling back, slightly awkward. This was a side to Aemond you hadn't encountered until last night, the vulnerable, awkward, gentle Aemond and in all honesty, it was only making you fall for him more.
After a few more awkward moments, he finally proceeded to show you some combat moves he'd learnt, starting off with the basics. "Aemond, I'm not that delicate," you protested, knowing he was only showing you the easy stuff. "I don't think you are, Y/N, but you have to learn the basics first," he replied, seeing his younger self in front of him, the person who always wanted the biggest challenge, he smirked as he guided you into the next stance.
Before long, you'd both become close, you could feel Aemond’s short breaths against your neck, his lean, tall body pressed against your back. You lost focus, not listening to what he said, before tilting your head up to him, meeting his eyes.
You both just looked at each other for a moment, Aemond taking in every inch of your features, your brown eyes, your dark eyelashes, the flurry of freckles that rested on your nose and before you could blink, he was kissing you. The kiss felt delicate at first, he was still worried about hurting you. You turned to him, cupping his face, moulding his lips with yours. Your reaction only made him hungrier, wanting every inch of you.
You both walked backwards a few inches, stopping when you hit the table. Aemond immediately placed his large hands under your thighs, lifting you up onto the table, bringing himself between your legs.
Breathless, he pulled away, resting his forehead on your own.  "You, my lady, are something else," he breathed, smiling.
Before you could reply, something in Aemond’s demeanour changed, he was needy, desperate, and full of desire. His large hands gripped your thighs before hiking up your skirts, desperate to feel the softness of your thighs.  His hand moved slowly down her body, between your legs, sliding his fingers over your centre. He slowly moved his head down, kissing delicately down to your breasts, snaking his hand behind your dress and unlacing the ribbons. One hand still between your legs making you fall apart more and more. You moved your hands into Aemonds hair, moaning his name louder and louder as he slipped a finger into you, gently moving in and out, growling as he felt the wetness of your centre. He entered another finger, making you squirm a little, not used to the intense feeling, "Shhh, I'm just preparing you," he whispered into your ear, only turning you on more. Panting between each kiss, Aemond pulled away, your dress now unlaced and easy to pull off, focusing every moment on your pleasure.  Kneeling down between your legs, Aemond gently kissed each thigh. "Please," you begged breathless, knowing what he was about to do. "Sorry didn't quite hear that, my love," Aemond teased. "Please Aemond," you moaned, desperate for him to do something, to come undone on his tongue. He began to kitten lick your clit as you pushed yourself further up towards him, your arms barely able to hold you up on the table. "Someone's needy," he said, his cocky tone vibrating against you, making both of you moan, his face still buried in between your legs. Noticing you were getting close to your release, Aemond pulled himself away, moving himself up to kiss you, tasting yourself on his warm lips. The usual controlled Aemond was gone, the need to feel himself inside you taking over. He undid his own trousers, positioning himself, ready to take you, to feel all of you. He knew he had to be gentle, but he didn't want to be. Aemond pushed himself into you, giving you a moment to adjust to his size before moving, grunting at the glorious feeling of your spongy walls taking him perfectly. "Fuck, so fucking tight," he moaned into your neck, kissing you roughly now, his animalistic desires taking over. You moaned into his ear, making him moan in return, he couldn't take it anymore, he needed to be deeper. Aemond pushed you back into the hard wooden table, lifting one of your legs up towards your chest, gaining further access, panting and moaning into the crook of your neck. His hand reached down between your legs getting you to your own high, "Aem-” you moaned, the pressure of his rough thumb rubbing circles onto your clit and the feeling of him pulsing inside of you pushing you over the edge. "Fuck, I'm close," he moaned, kissing you, his tongue making its way into your mouth once more. After a few more strokes, he released himself inside of you, the feeling of you clenching around his length driving him crazy.
Aemond looked up at you, your eyes heavy from your recent high, enjoying the visible pleasure he had just provided you. You both stayed in silence for a moment, panting, smiling. “That was-“ you began, “incredible” Aemond finished the sentence for you.
ryan leonard x hughes sister au
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
ryan and frankie walked down one of the busiest streets in boston; frankie hoping to find inspiration and ryan trying the make sure she doesn't kill her self doing so.
he couldn't understand why she was so reckless with her life? she was very loved and important to so many people. i mean he knew he loved her when he first met her. why couldn't she see how amazing she was?
"I have my fake with me, plus the bouncer adores me so i think i can so get you in" she says acting annoyed but secretly happy. even though she wanted to act like ryan coming along with her was a drag, it wasn't. she liked having him here. it made her feel seen.
"frankie, i still dont think this is the way to solve things" he says to her as they get in line to go into frankies favorite bar.
"not everything has to be solved it just has to be dealt with, and this is how im dealing with it" she said with an eye roll.
ryan opened his mouth to say something but stopped when her phone when off. he sees her screen light up with a Group FaceTime call; her brothers. but to his surprise she declines?
"spam call" she waves him off after she sees ryan eye her skeptically.
"you didn't tell them yet?" he said after a moment.
ryan knew her too well.
"nope" she says popping the 'p'. "and I dont plan on it anytime soon" she adds.
"so you just plan to lie to them for the rest of your life?"
"its not lying, its avoiding. I dont lie" she said not looking at him.
"I think you’re scared to tell them because you know once you tell them. It’ll be real" he says looking at her with a challenging look.
"ryan. this is real life right now, your not dreaming" she says sarcastically, wiggling her fingers in his face.
she was so cute. even if she was being a pain in the ass.
they got to the front of the line, where the bouncer was and frankie was quick to whisper something into the bouncers ear. the bouncer eyes running up and down ryan, before ultimately deciding to lift the rope and letting them through.
"I dont think I want to know what you told him" he said to her as she pulled him by his shirt collar. something that he found to drive him crazy.
"dont be dirty, I just told him you were my gay friend. so dont get with any girls tonight please. he'll know im lying"
your the only girl I want.
"im here to watch you, not to get with girls and party" he says seriously as she orders them drinks.
"no. if im going to let you follow me around like a puppy tonight your going to party with me mr. leonard." she says handing him the drink throwing him these eyes. eyes that have gotten her everything she's ever wanted. those eyes. eyes that made ryan want to complete every wish she's ever wished.
"if I take this shot with you, you have to listen to me, tonight. I know you like to run away. so dont"
"okay! yay!" she says as she pinky promises him.
__
frankies hallway filled with giggles as ryan said another dad joke. she kept her promise and didn’t run away. it was one a.m. and it had honestly been the earliest she came back from a night out. and to her surprise she was only tipsy. ryan had actually kept her good company all night.
"did you hear the rumor about butter" he says while leaning against the wall as she looks for her keys in her purse.
"ryan shutup please" she said laughing.
"okay. I wouldn't want to spread it anyways!"
"oh god" she said as she looked at him with so much adoration. she didn’t realize how much she needed someone to care and to show they cared. the way ryan did.
“thank you ryan” she said seriously. and a thought couldn’t help but bloom over her mood as she realized what was most likely going to happen.
“anytime pretty” he said as starred into the eyes that make him want to do flips off rooftops.
“I know drew is your teammate and everything, but like please dont be a stranger”
“im sorry?” ryan was confused to what she was trying to say.
is she drunk?
“like im saying since i won’t be around as much anymore and you guys are probably going to wanna be respectful to drew and stuff, just dont be a stranger. so please if you, will, and gabe ever see me just dont be afraid to talk to me. i’ll always be nice.”
ryan couldn’t belive his ears. she thought they were all just going to stop talking to her?
“franks. just because my teammate is an asshole doesn’t mean we dont care about you. you are a person who is easy to love and unbelievably smart. and im sorry drew couldn’t see that. you dont deserve that at all” he said looking into her eyes as Frankie’s eyes couldn’t help but water.
this was the nicest thing a guy has ever told her.
“you really think so” she whispered just realizing how close they were standing next to one another. he smelt like what frankie would call a comfort smell. and as she looked at him she just wanted to trace every one of his freckles while he told her everything that’s ever happened to him.
“I do” he said. luckily for ryan. this wouldn’t be the only time in years to come he would say this to frankie. they both leaned in as frankie stood on her tiptoes and kissed him. a kiss that made her stomach do flips. a kiss that made his stomach do flips.
ryan couldn’t help but wrap his arms around her waist as she wrapped her arms around her shoulders and bring him closer. the kiss felt like they’ve searched for one another their whole lives. it felt right. time stood still.
ryan pulled away first as he realized they were both tipsy and she was probably more tipsy then him. the insecurity of she was going to act like nothing happened tomorrow creeped up on him.
“what’s wrong” she said with a hand on his cheek. her heart dropping when he pulled away.
“im sorry, i shouldn’t. we shouldn’t. we’ll talk tomorrow, go inside frankie” he said stepping away from her.
“did I do something?” she said feeling her heart drop.
“no- its just- i don’t want you to wake up tmrw and regret this, i want it to actually mean something and I dont want to be just another guy to add to your roster” he says not knowing that made frankie feel like shit.
I mean she knows herself she's the type of person to have a good time. but the fact he just thought she was going to play him? is that what drew thought when she was getting with him.
maybe thats the reason he never opened up to me
“dont worry your far from it now ryan!. have a good life” she said opening her door.
“frankie i didn’t mean it like that-“
he couldn’t even explain himself because the door had already slammed in his face.
frankie didn’t know why ryan saying that hurt her so much but it did. he basically just called her a whore in her mind and she wanted to run into her room and scream into pillow. but of course her life never went her way.
standing inside were two out of her three brothers looking like they wanted to strangle her.
“where the hell have you been” luke yelled. as jack got off the phone with whoever he was talking to. mumbling something about how frankie just walked in.
frankie was actually speechless. she never thought her brothers would make the trip to boston to see why the hell she was ignoring them.
“out of all the irresponsible things you’ve done in your life , this has to be the worst. mom was so close to calling the cops. she’s on her way with dad. we thought you were dead!” jack scolds her as she takes off her coat.
"thats a little dramatic"
"no! it isn't. we gave you space but then imagine our surprise when your coach calls and says you quit!" luke counters back. "if your having a manic episode or whatever they call it, tell us. we'll help you" Luke adds in a gentler tone.
frankie wanted to do nothing but run away as she just starred at them. the fear she had been running away since she quit was standing in her living room and they were standing their angry.
"does mom and dad know" she said after a long silence.
"yes. we all have. we've been waiting for you to own up to it and tell us though" jack answered.
"is everyone mad at me" she said as her eyes filled up with tears.
"im mad that you've had us worried sick. I mean I had to resort to asking rutger and gavin to ask their world jrs teammates if they've seen my own sister" Luke said with a scolding look. one that looked scarily similar to her mothers.
"dont listen to him, I dont know why you were s scared to just tell us. its not going to change anything between us" jack said as he walked over to his little sister and gave her a hug.
frankie didn't like hugs. she felt so awkward with them but in that moment she wanted nothing but to sob into her older brothers arms like she once did when the other girls at school were making fun of her because she played hockey and didn't do dance or cheer like the rest of them. she needed her family.
"cmon Luke" she said opening her arm out to her brother who stood of to the side. Luke accepting because he could never stay mad at his little sister.
"just dont ever do this again. if you want attention go find yourself a lover or something" Luke said laughing as they pulled away.
"hey! none of that" jack said not thinking anyone was ever going to be good enough for his sister.
"dont worry jack, I need a break from boys" she said with a sigh as she remembered what happened with ryan about ten minutes ago.
"dont talk to us about your boy problems thats why you have Quinn" jack said gagging.
"quinn also wants you to call him" jack said as he started walking to her guest bedroom.
"you good?" Luke said as he started settling into her couch and noticed her sister looked as if her mind was far else where.
how do I tell him I ruined my reputation. everyone thinks im a slut.
"I dont know"
There is month and week time just in here, this is the only part where I would do that cause I had a lot to fit in. Because I had a lot of fit in, I have to add another part so too much won’t be going on all in one part. Also this is bit of a filler for that time jump from the end of season two to the beginning of season three
*******************************************
Although you didn't see Thomas again for nearly a year, you knew he was there watching you, keeping tabs on you. You had seen Arthur more than you had seen Thomas; he'd often come in, all cut up and in need of stitching.
 You still remember the first time you met Arthur; you were busy with a patient in one of the ER exam rooms when one of your fellow nurses slid back the curtain.
"Hi, excuse us. I need to borrow her for a second," She said, smiling towards the patient as she grabbed your arms, pulling you out and sliding the curtain back.
"What"
"You've been asked for by name, exam room three. I'll take over here."
"Why, what's going on”You asked confused.
She shrugged her shoulders,
 "All I know is that it's a peaky fellow, a Shelby, to be exact."
She went back into the exam room, but you stood still. Thomas, he's here to see you? You were confused, if he wanted to meet, he could've just come to your apartment; he did know where you lived.
Then it clicked ,he's hurt again; he has to be.
You turned and started to walk down the hall towards the third exam room. Walked…. ran the same thing.
Soon, you were standing in front of the curtain to exam room three. You took a deep breath as you smoothed your outfit out.
You don't know why you were so nervous to see him; you felt kinda silly; you had literally performed surgery on this man and dressed him.
 You shook your head, then quickly pulled back the curtain before you could change your mind.
You’re puzzled because the man sitting in front of you is not Thomas Shelby.
"Hi," you drew out, unsure who this man was and what he wanted with you.
"Oi, you the girl that took care of Tommy when he was here?" he asked, all chipper despite his ear being split, cuts on his face, and blood being littered all over his body.
You shook your head slowly, still unsure where this was going
"Tommy sent me here to get patched up; he said you were, uh, sympathetic to the cause." That made you laugh a bit
"I guess I am; let's see what's going on here, Mr.Shelby." You stepped into the room, closed the curtain behind you, and went to the table to find some gloves.
"It's Arthur"
"Oh, Arthur, and who is Thomas to you again?"
You pulled the stool underneath you as you began to clean the cuts on his face with some wipes.
"He's my brother; I'm the oldest, then Tommy, and then John, and last Finn."
You made a face; you didn't know Thomas had a brother, let alone three; in all the stories you heard about Peaky Blinders, only Thomas had been brought up.
You continued to clean Arthur up, and as you did so, you asked a million questions like where they grew up, how old they were, and how betting even worked.
You have learned so much from Arthur in the past 30 minutes about the business and Thomas than you would have ever thought.
Arthur was so talkative, he answered all your questions, he honestly was a bit too happy, you had assumed he was on something but wasn't sure.
He had just gotten done telling you a story about when he and Tommy were younger when you finished his last stitch.
"It sounds like loads of fun," you said, cutting the string to the last stitch.
"Yeah, it was different back then; Tommy was different back then. "
You had wanted to ask what he meant, but he had gotten up before you could. He walked over to the mirror to look at his face; as he did so, you pulled some cream out of the draw for him.
"Here, make sure you put this cream on so you won't scar."
"Ahhh, thanks, Doc; Tommy told us whenever we need fixin' to come to you, and you didn't disappoint."
"And how is Tommy? Is he all healed up?" Part of you just wanted to say his nickname out loud, and another hoped that Arthur would continue his over-sharing streak.
"Yeah, all good; you know our Tommy strong as a horse," He said before walking away.
You smiled and waved to him, watching him walk away. Our Tommy that made you giggle and smile like an idiot. You started to clean up your mess and wipe stuff down when you suddenly stopped, and your smile dropped.
It had just dawned on you, but It was too late; he was far too gone when you realized. What did he mean by Tommy told us whenever they needed fixin' to come to you. You were hoping it didn't mean what you had thought, but it did.
To say you were overworked was an understatement; you couldn't have imagined first how many men were peaky blinders and second how often they got hurt.
Every time you turned around, your patient was a peaky boy, saying Tommy had sent them to get fixed up. Some of these men came into the hospital standing even though they had cuts the size of your arm on their bodies. They were bleeding out, but they remained calm like it was just another Tuesday, and soon, so did you because eventually, it was just another Tuesday.
You and Arthur became close; you would even say you became friends. You saw him often; either he was in for himself, getting more stitches, or he was dropping off a person to get help. And on those sad, rare days, he was picking up a body, someone you couldn't save.
You and Arthur talked a lot about everything and anything; you felt like his priest with the kind of things he confessed to you. How he felt the business was going, how he was still messed up from the war, how lonely he was.
On those days, you would just listen to him talk and give him a hug after; you knew he needed it. Your relationship truly felt like brother and sister, and you couldn't have been more happy about it, seeing as you are an only child.
Arthur and Thomas were the only Shelby brothers you had the pleasure of meeting. Polly and Ada, you have not, but Arthur said you shouldn't because they don't get involved in dirty business. Finn was far too young; he often just hung back, and Micheal Polly's son only handled legitimate business.
So you were pretty shocked when you had been requested, and Michael Gray was behind the curtain.
"You the peaky doc."
"I am." You had tried to tell the boys that you were only a nurse, but none of them listed, so you just accepted the nickname.
He nodded and started to take his shirt off; he had bruises and cuts all over his body. One big cut on his stomach and one on his forehead; that's the ones you will be focusing on. You put your gloves on and got to work; you cleaned the cut on his stomach a bit before starting your stitches.
Your head was down the whole time you stitched him, but you still knew he was staring at you; you felt it, and the way he looked down at you made you slightly uncomfortable.
Once you finished the stitches, you stood up from the stool, making you come face to face with him.
His eyes were quite different from Tommy's; you didn't know yet if it was in a good way or bad.
He cocked his head to the side as he looked at you, then looked down at your name tag before looking back up at you.
"Can I smoke in here?"
"Sure, and do you mind if I stand right here? It's the only way I can reach," you said, pointing to in between his legs.
He took a long drag of his cig before responding, "Whatever you want, doc."
Even from this position, you had to stand on your toes; he was pretty tall. You were pulling a stitch through when you almost fell, but Micheal had placed his hand on your back, keeping you upright.
You cleared your throat. "Thanks"
He just nodded at you with his hand still on your back
"Tommy pays your rent, right? I've seen your name in the books."
"Yeah"
"I always had thought he did that cause you to stitch the boys up with no questions asked and no coppers involved."
You just smiled back, unsure what to say
"But now I'm not so sure."
"What do you mean"
At this point, you were on your last couple of stitches
"You have your own protection detail; he sends his most important men to you, and he pays your rent."
You knew about the rent and never paid much mind to why Tommy started sending his men; you'd just assumed that it was your payment for free rent. A protection detail, though, you were confused; Micheal had to be mistaken. You'd never seen anyone following you, or maybe that was the point.
You tied the thread before cutting it,  all while Micheal's hand remained behind your back; you looked down at him and asked.
"Why"
He shrugged his shoulders, taking one last drag before putting the cig out on the tray behind you.
He blew his smoke to the side before saying, "Tommy takes care of his own; he protects what's his."
You were stunned, but Micheal didn't allow you to process. He stood up, putting on his shirt before walking towards the door.
"Thanks, doc," he yelled as he left
You smiled and nodded back before turning around and cleaning up.
Had you really made that much of an impression on Tommy, you were confused and stuck, your mind racing to solve this riddle. If you had left such an impression, why hadn't you seen him in weeks? Not even so much as flowers or Arthur playing playing messenger, nothing. Micheal had to be wrong.
But what if he wasn't? What angle was Tommy playing? What was his end goal?
Your head was starting to hurt, maybe cause you were tired or cause your brain had been overworked trying to figure out what this man wanted from you. You decide to go back to work cause, whatever was happening, you wouldn't figure it out.
*******************************************
It had been a little over nine months after your visit from Micheal that you saw Tommy again.
You had been requested at his house, Arthur came and got you. This house wasn't in Birmingham it was nice and big, a mansion. You knew why you were here. Arthur had been keeping you up to date with all the Tommy and Grace drama. After Arthur told you about Grace and her and Tommy's Past and present, you knew that Micheal was wrong.
He couldn't have been more wrong cause here you are, arriving at Tommy's house about to see him for the first time in a year to help deliver his baby.
"There already a doctor there, you say," you asked Arthur as he helped you out of the car.
"Yes, Tommy said he still wants you there, though."
You didn't understand why you had to be there if a doctor was already there, someone who has had more schooling than you and should hold more knowledge.
Arthur had led you through the house, at first he got lost, it was a big house, but soon he found his way and plus it wasn't hard you just followed the screams and cursing.
You should have braced yourself before entering the room, but you had thought you would be fine; you weren't.
As soon as you opened the door, all eyes were on you, including Tommy's, his eyes which you hadn't seen in so long; they were so intense.
He was standing next to Grace, who was lying on the bed; he was holding her hand, blood smeared on his shirt. Two women were on the opposite side of him next to Grace, two women you assumed to be Polly and Esme.
You kind of just stood there, unsure of what to do and a bit scared. Grace's head popped from behind the doctor who stood in between her propped-up legs.
"Arthur, would you shut the door" Grace yelled
He laughed awkwardly. "Sorry, I didn't see anything, Tommy; go on, Doc." He gave you a push as he shut the door.
"Umm, where can I help?" you asked, and it was clear that you were nervous, but you hoped they thought it was because of the situation and not because of what it actually was, Tommy.
"The doctor is saying the baby is trying to come out feet first and that he must cut her open. Polly and Esme say that the baby can be turned, and if she is cut, she will bleed out." Thomas said as he rubbed his face; he was trying to hide it, but you could tell he was nervous.
"OK, OK, OK, Excuse me, I need to assess Grace to see which option is better." You placed your bag down and pulled out some gloves before approaching Grace.
"OK, Grace, I'm just going to see where the baby is at," You said as you reached up in her cervix, checking for the baby, and it was trying to come out feet first. You pulled out of her before speaking again.
"OK, Grace, the baby is coming feet first, but it's still far up, so I think we have a good chance at turning it around. It will be painful, but it's better than cutting you open and risking you bleeding out."
"Well, I can't do that, and I still believe that a c-section is the way to go; I've done many and have had many successes." The doctor tried to argue, but you knew that the risk of her bleeding out was higher than her not.
"I can do it. Trust me, Grace, I can do it."
"Are you even a doctor?" the doctor asked.
"No, but that doesn't matter. Grace, what do you want."
Graces looked between you and the doctor before looking up at Thomas, who was looking at you. And for the first time since you stepped into this room, you looked at him in the eyes. You nodded slightly, telling him you had this; he stared at you a little longer before telling you to go ahead.
You got right to work pushing on Grace's stomach, pushing the baby's head, and slowly turning the baby. She screamed in pain, and Thomas held her hand, encoring her along; after 30 minutes, you finally got the baby in the correct position. You would’ve let Grace take a much-needed break, but she said she felt the need to push and couldn't hold back.
"OK, Grace, that's fine. Push." You got back between her legs and sat on the stool at her feet.
It only took two pushes, and the baby was out, but It wasn't breathing; you panicked, and everyone looked at you scared. Except for Thomas, he looked at you in a way you can't describe as anything other than murderous.
You held the baby in your hands, quickly walking over to the dresser and placing the baby down before grabbing the suction ball from your bag below you. You sucked the goo from the baby's mouth and throat and ran your knuckles across his chest.
The baby still didn't cry out, and you were nervous. Had you pushed on its head too hard? You had never done it yourself, only seen it done, but-
The baby coughed and let out a cry; relief flooded your body, and tears slipped from your eyes. You cleaned the baby before turning around and walking over to Thomas.
"Here you go, Mr.Shelby, a beautiful, healthy baby boy."
For the first time ever, you saw Tommy smile, like a full ear-to-ear smile, as you handed him his son. You smiled to yourself before stepping away and collecting your things. You looked at the doctor who stood in the corner, flipping him off before saying.
"You can handle the rest, right, or do you need help with that too?"
He rolled his eyes at you before walking to Grace to clean her up.
You opened the door and saw Michael, Arthur, who you assumed to be John and Finn, and many more waiting outside the door.
"Grace is fine."
"And," Arthur asked.
"And it's a- "
"It's a boy," Thomas said, interrupting you, you turned around, and he was standing right behind you.
"Congratulations," You said to Tommy.
"Thank you," he said back before he got rushed with a bunch of hugs.
You went down the steps, deciding to wait for Arthur outside, and truth be told, you needed some air not only because of Tommy but also because that was the most ballsy thing you had ever done in your career. You just delivered a baby, all on your own.
You weren't waiting on the steps outside long when you heard the door open, and you stood up, brushing the dirt off yourself, slowly turning around.
"I thought you had gotten lost again. Arthur thought I had to come to find yo-"You stopped your sentence abruptly, seeing as Arthur wasn't the one standing in front of you.
"Micheal, where's Arthur?"
"I had asked him if it was alright if I took you home."
"Oh, OK, let's go," You said before hopping in the car, with Micheal right behind you, sliding next to you in the driver's seat.
The drive back was quiet, and soon you were back at your house; you hopped out of the car and walked towards your apartment building, Micheal right behind you.
"You don't have to walk me to my door, Micheal; I'll be fine."
"Who am I to defy orders?"
That made you stop and turn towards him.
"You’re wrong, Tommy's with Grace. We're friends; he has no feeling like that towards me."
"You sure about that"
"I just delivered his baby, Micheal."
"Exactly," he said, then turned around and left.
You walked into your building and up the steps to your apartment; you stood at the door searching for your keys and became frustrated when you couldn't find them. You threw your bag at the door, making everything fall and spill across the floor.
You took a deep breath before squatting down, picking everything up, and putting them back; your keys had also been on the ground. You grabbed them and unlocked the door, walking in and shutting it behind you.
You walk over to your bed and jump in it; you don't even have the energy to change. You were so tired, and your head hurt trying to figure out what Micheal got from playing with your head like this.
You wouldn't even let yourself go down the guessing road; he was with Grace, and that was final. They were apart and came back stronger than ever; their love was fairy-tale-like.
You couldn't help yourself, though; a small part of you still thought,
What if.
********************************
Months have passed since you last seen Tommy since you delivered his baby. You haven’t seen him, but you know he was keeping tabs on you. You also started to see Arthur less; he was a changed man so he says. He met a new dime, Linda. You’re not going to lie, you don’t like the bitch, but Arthur does, and seeing as he has stopped the fighting, drinking, and even snow, you’ve decided to let it go.
You still see peaky boys, though; they have become a part of your day-to-day life. You can’t remember the last time you had a regular patient or even a day off. And you needed a day off, you barely sleep cause of all the doubles you’ve been pulling at the hospital, and you never go out anymore. You honestly don’t remember the last time you got laid.
It’s been a while.
So that’s why you decided to take the day off and to take up one of the doctors at the hospital's offer to go out.
You honestly didn’t care where the doctor took you or what y’all talked about; you had one goal tonight: getting laid.
You were ready to go out, sitting at your kitchen table bucking your shoes, when you heard a knock on your door. He was early, but you were ready, so it was fine. You walked over to the door, a smile taking over your face. You opened the door and were immediately pushed out of the way as someone invited themselves into your home.
“ Um, excuse me,” you said, turning around to meet the stranger.
Only it wasn’t a stranger. It was Tommy
And he wasn’t alone; he had his son in his arms.
“What's wrong?” You asked, rushing over to them.
“ he fell. I was changing him, and he fell, and he cried and cried, but then he just stopped.” He was pacing your living room with the baby still in his arms.
You slowly approached him.
“ It’s ok, Tommy, babies aren’t glass, ok. Every kid has been dropped on their head, I’d reckon Arthur, more than once.”
You got him to stop pacing with your words, but he still held the baby in a death grip.
“ Let me see him, Tommy; everything going to be fine, just let me see him.” You spoke as softly as you could as you stood before him, placing your hand on his shoulder.
He looked up from the baby to look at you; you nodded as you placed your hands under his to take the baby from his hands. He slowly let go of the baby, releasing him to you. Once you fully secured the baby, you held him close as you walked over to your med bag at home. You fetched out your stethoscope and put it on before listening to the baby’s heart rate and breathing; you then checked his pupil reaction with your small flashlight.
The baby seemed fine; Tommy probably put the baby to sleep by rocking it for so long, that’s why it probably stopped crying.
“ Your baby’s fine, no signs of brain damage; he is just sleeping. That’s why he stopped crying,” you said, walking back over to him, and handing him back his baby.
You could see his body ease up slowly as he rocked the baby back and forth.
“ Did you drive here, or” you trailed off
“ Yeah, but my car ran out of petrol; I’ve sent Curly to get me some more.”
You nodded slowly; you weren’t sure what you were supposed to do next.
“ Do you have a quiet place where I can put him down?”
“ Yes, my bedroom, it's over there,” You say, pointing towards the back of the room.
Tommy walks back towards your room, and you just stand there, uncertain what to do in your own home. He came back soon and started to head towards a seat in your living room and to make things less awkward, you took a seat across from him in the other chair.
“ Can I smoke in here?”
You nodded to his question; he pulled out his cigarette holder and took one before offering you one.
“ Oh no, I don’t smoke,” you said, making him make a face.
“ I only smoked that one time cause I was a bit stressed.”
He just nodded at you, lighting up his cig and taking a drag, and y’all just sat there; honestly, how long does it take to get some petrol. You couldn’t be this still any longer. You had to get up.
“ Would you like something to drink?” You asked, walking over to your drink table.” Whiskey fine?” you asked, even though you knew that’s all he drank
You turned back to see him nodding his head, so you continued to ask, “ Brown or white?”
“ Brown”
You poured the both of you a cup, filling yours up a bit more than his; you would need the whole bottle if he stayed any longer. You walked over to him, handing him his cup before sitting back in your seat. The silence followed again shortly after, and it was killing you; he had finished his cig, and you had finished your glass; you were seriously thinking about getting that petrol yourself.
“ You were a nurse in the war? “ Tommy asked, pointing towards your medals on the shelf above your fireplace.
“ Yes, I was stationed in France, you? “
 You already knew the answer, though, cause of Arthur
“ Yep, I was in France, tunneler.” he finished his drink before continuing, “You kept your medals?”
Even though he didn’t phrase it like a question, you still knew he was asking why you had kept them.
This question caught you slightly off guard, but you knew most people around here threw theirs into the cut as a fuck you to the king for the way they were treated when they got back.
“ You mean, why didn’t I throw them in the cut like everyone else?” You asked as you got up, getting his cup and you for a much-needed refill. “ I don’t see them like how you might; I see them as my team telling me good job and not the king. My team nominated me for the medal, not the king.”
He nodded, slowly taking his drink back and sipping before asking you another question.
“ And the war,” he cleared his throat, “is it still with you.”
You didn’t know why he was asking you all these questions, but you didn’t mind answering them. The more you talked about your experience, the easier it was to continue your life and leave the war in the past.
“ Honestly, there must be something wrong with my brain because no matter how hard I try to think back, I can’t remember half of the things that happened.” You let out a slight chuckle as you spoke.
“Nothing, eh?”
“ Well, not nothing; I remember why I was nominated for that medal.” You paused, unsure if you should tell this story. Men like Tommy don’t often reminisce about their time in France. But Tommy tipped his glass towards you, encouraging you along.
“ Ok, umm, my group and I had been relocated closer to the battlefield; we were located where fighting had taken place and tunnels dug. So there were a lot of caved-in holes and shells everywhere, but they said they had swept the area, and there were no bombs or anything. Nightfall came, and we were all set up; everyone but the guards were asleep. I couldn’t, though; I could hear the fighting going on in the distance. And even though it was really dumb, I went for a walk. I just couldn’t keep still and didn’t want to wake up the others.”
You looked down and realized that you had finished your drink, so you got up to get some more; you went over to the drink table but didn’t pour anything. Instead, you just leaned against it before turning back to face Thomas.
“ I was walking, and um, I tripped, fell right on my face. I had dropped my flashlight, hitting the ground must have turned it off. So I reached around looking for it, and that was when I touched something, but it wasn’t my flashlight; it was my hand. I panicked and backed up as quickly as possible and ended up finding my flashlight. I quickly turned it on and saw a hand sticking up from the mud, almost like it had broken through. I was trying to calm myself down when I saw the hand twitch; I had assumed the guy was dead. Next thing I know, I’m on my hands and knees digging through the dirt, and it seemed like no matter how fast and hard I dug, dirt kept refilling up the hole.” Tears started falling from your cheek, but you wiped them quickly, not wanting to cry in front of Tommy.
“ I uhh eventually was able to dig his head out, then shoulders and then I was able to pull him out, he wasn’t breathing, so I began CPR and mouth to mouth, the mud got all in my mouth cause his face was caked with it, but I didn’t care. Finally, after five minutes, he began coughing and gasping for air; I pulled him up into my lap, propping him up a bit, hoping that would help. Then he opened his eyes. He had tried to speak, but he just kept saying the same thing over and over again; he wasn’t making any sense. I told him he should save his strength, which made him quiet down. And so we just laid there for a bit, with him in my lap holding onto my arms; he just looked at me, and I looked at him. He eventually remembered that other men were still down in the tunnels, and thankfully, the tunnel hadn’t fully clasped. Together, we dug them out and helped them back to camp. They were all too badly injured for us to help, so they were driven to the nearest hospital.”
You had walked over to Thomas, picking up his cigarette holder, taking one, and lighting it up. Tommy took notice but didn’t say anything.
“ Soon after I was nominated for the award, the soldiers I had saved and the nurse in my unit nominated me. And the rest is history.” You took a couple more puffs of the cig before putting it out on the table since you didn’t have an ashtray.
Tommy opened his mouth to speak, but there was a knock at the door; you walked over to it, opened it, and was greeted by Curly.
“ Tommy, I’ve got the petrol for you and filled your car; it's all ready to go.”
You turned to face him, smiling, before heading to your room to pick up the baby. You brought the baby out to Thomas, placing him in his hands.
“ Welp, this has been fun, but I’m tired, and this little one needs to get home. See you, Tommy.”
He said your name, tilting his head down before leaving your apartment.
 You have never told that story to anyone before; it brought up a lot of emotions, more than you expected. It had felt good telling that story, though, especially with a person who also served, who might have understood where you were coming from.
You had washed up and changed your clothes; the Whiskey made your eyes feel heavy, and you practically had to drag yourself to bed. You did make it, though. You got under the covers all warm and cozy, and you were about to fall asleep when you suddenly realized,
You never went on your date.
********************
You wish you could say the next time you saw, Tommy was as pleasant as the last.
You had a late shift at the hospital tonight.
You walked into the hospital late, around 8:00 p.m. The air felt good, and you had been inside all day at home, so you decided to walk to work; it wasn’t far. You had run into a friend at the door and were walking in together. She was talking to you about her lazy husband, but as soon as you entered the hospital, you had tuned her out. You heard a voice screaming in the distance; you knew that voice. You started running in the direction the voice was coming from, leaving your friend without a goodbye.
It felt like you were running in slow motion; the hallway was getting longer and longer, and you thought you would never get to the end.
When you finally reached the end, you stopped and scanned the room. Tommy was being held back by multiple guards and doctors, Polly and Linda were screaming at the nurses, Arthur had been pressed to the floor, and John was against the wall.
“ Mr.Shelby, if you don’t calm down, we will have to put you out,” one of the nurses said, trying to get him to calm down, but that only made him more mad.
The nurse screamed as Tommy held a gun to her face. “ I’m sorry, what was that? hmm”
You had rushed over, placing yourself in between the gun and the nurse,
“ Tommy, Tommy, look at me. What's wrong? Tell me how I can help.”
His breath was coming out shaking. He waved the gun to the side, trying to tell you to move, but you didn’t; he did it again, and you still didn’t move.
“ Move!” he yelled.
“ No, Tommy, what’s wrong?”
He yelled out in frustration, then put the gun back in his holder. He turned around walking away from you, putting his hands on top of his head.
“ Talk to me, please, Tommy.” You begged
You blinked and suddenly he was in your face, he was so close you could feel his breath on your face. He squatted down to your eye level before pointing his arm out in no particular direction, his mouth opened and closed, as he struggled to find the words.
“ Them fuckers shot Grace, and now these doctors won’t let me see her.”
“ Ok, I will go check on her, okay, but you can’t threaten them; they’re just doing their job.”
“ Ok, Tommy,” he nodded slowly back at you.
“ Ok,” he whispered.
You turned to the nurse you had protected earlier.
“ Take them to a private waiting room, please.” She nodded, whispering a small thank you as you walked towards the surgical wing. You were about to walk through the door when you had been tugged back; it was Tommy.
“ I got her, Tommy, I promise.” He squeezed your hand before letting go.
You pushed through the door to the surgical wing and started to run; you weren’t sure which room she was in, so you checked every single one, busting through the door and looking at the person on the table. You have reached the last surgery room with no luck so far. Grace had to be in this room; it was the last one. You opened the door, saying a slight prayer.
“ Time of death 10:55”
You tried to talk, but the words got trapped in your throat; you felt it sitting there, causing your throat to burn as you struggled to breathe. Tears began falling down your face as you fell against the wall, feeling too weak to stand alone. This wasn’t supposed to happen; this isn’t how things were supposed to go.
“ No,” you sobbed out.
“ No, no, no, no, no, what did you do?” you screamed at the Doctor.
You pushed yourself off the wall, walking over to Grace; you touched her arm, and she was still warm. You looked up at the Doctor; it was Dr.Brown.
“ What did you do? The shot was to the fucking shoulder; what - did - you - do”
He just stared at you, not answering you. You looked around the room, and everyone was staring at you. You went around the table and pushed Dr.Brown against the wall; you didn’t know what you were doing; you didn’t know what you wanted from him.
“ Do you think you could tell Thomas for me?” his voice was shaky.
You let go of him, walking backward. You stared at him in disgust, and then you started to laugh.
It was an eerie laugh; you were practically choking on it. You wiped the tears and snot from your face with the back of your hands.
“You want me to tell him that you killed his wife because you don’t want him to smell the alcohol on your breath 'cause you want to live right.”
The Doctor stared at you with his mouth gaping open like a fish; you even saw his eyes start to fill up with tears.
“ Oh, don’t worry, I’ll tell him, and when he’s in the right mind, I’ll tell him that you’re a drunk and you killed his wife.”
You walked out before he could spill some bullshit to you.
You wanted to walk slowly and drag your feet, but you knew better.
You’ve lost patients before and family, but it didn’t feel like this. You’ve never felt like this; you never felt so responsible for someone's death.
You know that there was no way you could have stopped it, and there was no way you could have known. But what if, what if you called a taxi instead of walking? What if you told the police about the Doctor's drinking. So many moments played through your head, so many moments you wished you changed because somehow this feels like your fault. You knew that. Dr. Brown was a drunk; you should have fought harder with the hospital board. You should’ve-
You stopped cause; deep down, you knew there was nothing you could have done. There is no way you could have saved Grace.
You approached the private waiting room and stood there for a second to gather yourself. This death isn’t yours to cry for; it’s theirs. You wiped your tears and snot on your shirt; you cleared your throat and took a deep breath.
You pushed open the door and entered the room; they all stood when you entered, except for Tommy, who already standing cause he had been pacing. You looked around the room. Every single person's eyes were on you, waiting for you to speak; it was so quiet, no one made a sound.
“ So,” Tommy’s voice cracked as he spoke.
You took a deep breath before you tried to speak, and you tried, you really did, but you couldn’t keep it together. A sob left your mouth before you could stop it.
This caused Polly to bring her hand to her mouth as she fought back her tears.
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath before trying again.
“ I’m s-so sorry, Tommy; when I got there, she was already gone. There was nothing I could do.” Your voice grew horse as you spoke, and your throat burned as your fought back tears.
“No,” he whispered.
“ Tommy”
“NO!” he shouted before throwing the chair across the room.
Polly started telling everyone to get out and give him some space, but you stayed. You knew the last thing he needed was to be alone with his thoughts.
Everyone had left, and it was just you two alone.
He had stopped throwing things and rested his head against the wall.
“ Get out”
“ No,” you said, walking over to him,
You had placed your hand on his shoulder, but it was only for a second cause soon he had flipped you, and now you were against the wall. He held a tight grip on your shoulders, keeping you bound to the wall. His eyes started directly into yours, and even though he appeared mad, his eyes showed he was hurt.
He pushed you deeper into the wall. “Why didn’t you save her?” You heard the pain in his voice as he spoke. “You saved me; you brought me back to life; why couldn’t you save her? Why couldn’t you bring her back.” He whispered out
You just stared at him; you were speechless.
Then it finally happened: he broke down; you put your arms around him as he slowly fell to the ground, with you falling with him.
You held him in your arms as he cried; his grip on your arms kept tightening as if you would let him go. You hadn’t planned on it; you would hold him till he asked you to let go. You’d lay here as he slept if he needed you to.
He needed you, and you were going to be there for him.
Wedding nightmare
Pairing:
Itoshi Rin x Reader (hint of Itoshi Sae)
Warnings ⚠️: characters are aged up. Reader uses she/her, there is angst but read till the end, it doesn't end sad! Requests are open
⚽️Blue Lock belongs to: Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura⚽️
Rin for a long time didn't know what exactly his dream was. At first both him and Sae dreamed of becoming the World's number 1 and number 2 players. Slowly, after Sae left for Spain, that dream dissipated and the silly childhood promises turned into nothing. He wanted to crush his brother after he humiliated him at the playground, for stealing the childhood dreams they had and for... for just not being the big brother he knew and loved. Now, at the age of 24 Rin pretty much forgot all the resentment he held for Sae. He had accomplished a lot ever since he entered Blue Lock at the age of 16. From becoming one of the World's best strikers, to playing for a well-known French club, to winning the World Cup, Rin had it all. The fame never got much to his head and he pretty much stayed the same, stoic and somewhat sarcastic man he used to be in his teenage years. Well, he was like that towards the outside world, to his beloved girlfriend it was a whole other story. As much as Rin didn't want to admit that Blue Lock changed him as a person, it was the truth. He entered the project and boom fell hard for the manager. (L/n) (Y/n), Rin sighed dreamily as he remembered the day they met. Just after the 2nd selection started he met her in the hallway as she was helping one of the players. And boy was he whipped! From her looks to her caring personality, everything drew him in and he was determined to get to know her better. At first it was hard, with (Y/n) having a close bond with the players of Wing 5, to them also liking her and to his standoffish personality. But he somehow made it work, he somehow got her to agree to go out with him and here he was. After 3 years of dating, he was getting married. Rin chuckled a little as a blush made it on his face as he remembered the day he proposed to (Y/n). It was a intimate proposal, in the safety of their shared apartment on their anniversary day. He still remembered the happiness he felt when she said yes, hugging and kissing him. Rin was finally at peace. And today was finally the day Rin had waited for so long. The wedding ceremony itself was a pretty small one, only family members and a few close friends.
"Ahhh~ my baby is getting married! I never thought of seeing this day!" Rin smiled as his mother shed a few tears. His father fixed up his tie as Sae stood coldly to the side, glaring at Rin from time to time.
"I honestly didn't think that either of you would get married, with how obsessed with football you are. But it's finally happening!" His mom hugged Rin as his father tried to calm her down.
"Honey, you are being a little dramatic. Both Rin and Sae are pretty young. Who knows, maybe next thing we know Sae will surprise us with a girlfriend he kept hidden." The father teased as they looked at the said redhead.
"You are in a really foul mood today, Sae." His mom noted, wiping a few tears away.
"Yeah, cheer up or else you might scare (Y/n) away." Rin teased, satisfied that Sae never got and never will get the chance to know (Y/n) the same way he did. Sae let out a sigh and looked at the trio.
"I just didn't sleep enough. After all, it's not everyday Rinnie gets married." Sae said, faking a smile. Rin frowned at the nickname, he didn't like it when Sae used it.
"Besides, it's not everyday that a girl like (Y/n) is joining the family, am I right?" Sae asked again, directing the question to the youngest.
"Yeah, true." Rin gave a fake smile back as the parents stayed oblivious to their rivalry over the girl. There was a knock on the door and the maid of honor peeked into the room, nervously looking at Rin.
"Rin-san? Could you come with me?"
"What is it? Weren't you with (Y/n)?"
"I... it is about (Y/n), she has been crying for the past hour or so." She answered back. This caused Rin and Sae to look at her in panic while the parents gave her a worried look.
"What?! Why didn't you call me an hour ago?!" Rin yelled in worry as he walked towards the door.
"Rin, please calm down!" His mom tried to argue and Sae watched him storm out.
"I will go and take some fresh air. All this wedding stuff is ticking me off." Sae sighed and walked out, ignoring his father's calls.
Rin stormed towards the room (Y/n) was in, worry written all over his face.
"Ah! Rin-san, good that you are here! She doesn't want to talk with us." Her step-brother said as he and his wife were waiting in front of the door. Rin nodded his head and told them to go freshen up while he deals with it.
"(Y/n), baby what's wrong?" The teal-eyed man asked as he walked into the room, his heart breaking when he saw her crying. She looked up and flinched when she saw Rin.
"Rin... I am so sorry..." The woman cried out, getting up from her chair as Rin ran over to her.
"What are you apologizing for? Come here." The teal-eyed man said trying to hug her, but to his surprise she rejected the idea.
"No... Rin, I can't marry you. God I should have said something earlier..." Rin felt his knees shake at that, but spoke up.
"Haha... (Y/n), don't joke like that-"
"It's not a joke! I can't marry you... I love someone else, Rin."
The football player felt his heart shatter when she cried out those words.
'No no no... this can't be real. She loves me, she told me that last night.'
"(Y/n), you can't be for real. You told me last night that you loved me." The woman let out another sob and shook her head.
"No Rin, I lied. Truth is, I am in love with someone else, have been for 2 years and he knows it." (Y/n) admitted. Rin felt like he couldn't breath, this couldn't be real! They were supposed to get married, have a family and live a happy life! What was this?!
"And... and who? How did you fall for him?" Rin asked, although he wasn't really sure if he wanted to know her answer. After all, his world was falling apart because of him.
(Y/n) glanced at the person standing behind him and sighed, wiping her tears away.
"You remember the time you couldn't come to Madrid with me?" Rin thought for a moment, then his eyes widened in realization as to who the man was.
"Sae... You fell in love with him?!" Rin yelled in disbelief.
"Don't blame her, little brother. After all, it was you prioritizing your career over (Y/n)'s feelings." Sae spoke up as he walked past him and to where (Y/n) was, giving her tight hug.
"You... you bastard! How could you do this to me?! And let her go!" Rin yelled in anger.
"Rin, it's my fault, don't be mad at Sae. Back then, you just barely ever made time for me and just talked about football. You acted like I was am afterthought, Sae on the other hand... he really made time for me, made me feel special and we kind of hit it off." (Y/n) said, burying her face into Sae's chest.
"(Y/n)..." Rin muttered as he watched the two, realizing what she meant.
'Why can't I move? I want to punch Sae so bad! But my feet won't listen to me.'
"Sorry Rin, but it looks like you will forever be the 2nd best." Sae chuckled, kissing (Y/n)'s forehead.
'No way... not (Y/n)! He can take my fame and talent for all I care, but not her!'
"(Y/n)? Please don't, I will do better, but please don't go for Sae! Please!" Rin begged as tears started sliding down his cheeks.
"It's too late, Rin..." (Y/n) shook her head.
"No! It's not! Please (Y/n)!" The room started spinning and Rin felt like he was about to lose consciousness any time.
"Please!" Rin cried out and sat up on his bed, panting and sweating as he looked around.
"What was... where am I?" The teal-eyed boy thought as he frantically looked around the room.
'This is my room? Was that a dream?' Rin thought as he took his phone from the nightstand. Unlocking it, he quickly dialed a number and waited for an answer. After about a minute, a voice spoke up from the other side and Rin felt a few tear drops fall down his face.
"Hello, Rinnie? Are you alright?" (Y/n) asked, clearly startled from his call at 4 in the morning.
"(Y/n)?! Thank God... how long have we been dating?" He asked, trying to calm his racing heart down.
"What... like a year? Rin, why are you asking me that now?" (Y/n) asked in worry as Rin laid down again.
"No reason... say, did you make any plans for next week?"
"I thought I told you... but we made those plans for Spain, but I have to cancel them tomorrow, since you have to prepare for the championship." (Y/n) yawned.
"Why would you cancel? You told me you wanted to visit Spain, my championship has nothing to do with it." Rin raised an eyebrow.
"I am not going alone there. I want to spend time with you." Rin wanted to say it was stupid and to go without him, but then remembered the dream he had a stopped himself.
'This is my chance... the dream was like a warning.'
"You are not canceling anything! I am taking next week off and we are focusing all our energy on Spain and going wherever you planed." Rin said sternly.
"But the champion-"
"Screw that! We are going there next week and the championship is in like a month anyways. That can wait."
"O-ok..." Rin could clearly hear how startled she was, making him realize just how much he put his work before her. He will need a balance, he will make this work.
'I will be the only one to make you feel special. I promise.' Rin nodded to himself as they spoke on the phone for the next hour. Slowly Rin forgot about the nightmare and he became calmer, enjoying his conversation.
