It wasn't your idea but your friend's.

There was a website that matched you with someone that had similar search history.

Currently, both of you were in the cafe with coffee and snacks, sitting at a two person table and having the usual friend hangout until she brought it up.

"Isn't that...a breach of privacy? How is this allowed?", you asked concerned.

"They only get what you give them! Like a questionnaire thing. You put down what you search and they set you up with someone!", she says and shows you the site on her phone.

"This is shady as fuck.", you say.

"Ok, maybe a little bit but you put what you want shared!", she smiles. "I mean you can meet another writer or someone who is super hot!"

Honestly you didn't know what to think of it, but maybe you could give it a shot.

I mean what's the worse that could happen? Haha..

"Ok..", you sighed and gave her the go to for making your account.

"Yay!", she squealed and started up a new profile. "Ok, so name, age, occupation..", she started typing furiously.

Once the basics were set up, she passed the phone to you to fill out the questionnaire.

"Here.", you hand the phone back.

"Wow that's a lot.", your friend scrolls down your list.

"What did you expect? I do a lot of searching on my laptop for the littlest things.", you shrug.

"Yeah, should have expected that.", she nods and looks through her photo album in her phone.

Leaning on the table, you look as she scrolls for the perfect photo.

"Which one are you gonna pick?", you ask and take a sip of your coffee.

"That cute one where you're hugging a cat.", your friend replies.

"Nah. Put the Halloween one."

She stops scrolling to look you dead in the eye, only to see your smug grin.

"No."

"Aw what? Come on!", you whine. "It'll be funny!"

"No! You're covered in fake blood!", she rejects the idea.

"But think of it! It would be fucking hilarious.", you nudge her arm.

"No and that's final! I'm putting this one!", she says and adds a photo without looking.

You honestly forgot about the account you both made until you got a bunch of emails about the website finding your match. You ignored most of them as they didn't go over 70%, that was until you saw the one you got today.

"What?", you asked with a mouth stuffed with noodles, being in the middle of eating lunch.

Picking up your phone, you check the email and feel your eyes widen.

You immediately called your friend.

"DUDE!"

"What?", she asks.

"THERE'S A HOT GUY WHO MATCHED 98% WITH ME!! WHAT DO I DO!?!?"

"Send me his pic! Duh!", she replies.

You take a screenshot of his profile picture and send it over.

"HOLY SHIT! I KNOW WHO THAT IS!!!"

"Who is it?", you ask.

"Don't you listen to his podcasts!?", your friend screeches. "He's the hot voice talking about murder mysteries and other creepy shit! You always listen to him while writing!"

"Huh, so this is him?", you ask. "How do you know? You hate hearing creepy stuff."

"I got bored one day.", she says.

Understandable. You thought. "Ok but back onto the topic. WHAT DO I DO!?"

"Send that love message to meet up!", she replied.

You deadpanned.

I have to go outside? I mean it wouldn't be bad if we went to a cafe or library. Maybe a bookstore... You thought.

"Fine. Since we already know his face he won't be able to run far if anything happens.", you said, making up your decision.

"Geez, don't talk like you're about to die.", your friend groaned.

"What? It's true.", you say. "Statistically, women are more likely to get killed on a date. Which doesn't rule out males but it does happen."

"UGH! Send me pics of what you're going to wear already!", she demanded.

You sat on a bench near a bus stop, messaging your friend. It was the best location for you to wait, there were multiple people around and restaurants with cameras.

Not gonna find out my address~ You sang in your head as you messaged your "match" that you had arrived.

You messaged him a brief description of your features and what you were wearing, so that way he wouldn't go around like a headless chicken trying to look for you.

Just in case things went south, you had a back up outfit to change into.

As you waited, a sudden thought came up.

Why was he on the dating site MSH? You wondered. Maybe his friend also pressured him to make a profile or someone else.

Then another thought.

What if it isn't him and someone just used a random photo they found to put up? You frowned at that. I hope that's not the case. That would be very annoying to deal with.

"Now, I hope that I'm not the reason my date is wearing a frown."

Turning your head to see who had decided to approach you, you saw a familiar face and warm reddish copper eyes. He was dressed very nicely, white button up long sleeve, dark red knit sweater vest, black pants, and black looking dress shoes.

"I'm Alastor.", he smiled. "And you are my date for this evening, yes?"

Damn it. You thought, trying to keep a straight face. He looks like a bookish nerd and that is definitely my type.

You stood up from the bench and gave a smile back.

"Nice to meet you.", you greeted and then introduced yourself.

the triplets and i all sat in our spots before nick began to set up the cameras to record as they all opened up todays video topic. i was sat next to matt with an extra microphone as they introduced me as their guest, matt's girlfriend. i waved over to one of the cameras before smiling as they all laugh, making me feel confused and nervous. did i do something wrong already?

"thats the wrong camera." matt whispered in my ear, making me freeze in embarrassment as i sigh. "don't worry about it, other guests make that mistake." his hand slowly reaches under the studio desk, resting onto my thigh before we all engaged in the topic.

meanwhile, his hand rubbed against me in slow circular motion as each movement of his moved further up until he was at my inner thigh, nearly making me choke mid sentence.

"are you good?" nick asked concerned while i reach over to grab my bottle of water, taking a quick sip before gaining my composure.

"yeah, let's continue-" i cut myself off when matt suddenly slips my underwear to the side while his index and middle finger hovered over my folds before spreading them apart, making me shudder at the sudden contact. one finger was now touching my clit directly as i bit my lip hard, nodding along to nick and chris while matt stayed quiet, trying to hide his smirk.

the tip of his finger now dragged along agonisingly slow as both now pressed against my clit and rubbed softly in slow circles. with no warning, he suddenly inserted his fingers inside me before slowly thrusting them in and out. my hand nearly flew under the desk as i tried to grab his wrist and pull him away, but his grip was stronger than mine. his leg hooked around mine under the desk as my legs were now forced to widen. i felt my whole body sweat as i felt my nerves rise higher and higher. my heart was practically pounding against my chest, nearly letting out a moan as i squeezed my eyes shut, resting my head against the cold surface of the table.

"guys! are you even paying attention? seriously, whatever you two are doing needs to stop." chris groans, rolling his eyes at us both while nick stops talking to look at us both.

"what even are you doing?" nick asks hesitantly, an unreadable expression on his face, but before i try to speak up, no words could come to my mind.

"she beens complaining that she doesn't feel well." matt adds in, feeling relief wash over me before i pull his hand away whilst he was distracted. "i think we should just have a break and continue later."

we both immediately got up from our places as i nearly rushed out of the room, matt following behind me while chris and nick glanced to each other across the room, giving confused looks. when i shut the studio door, i slapped matt on his arm, looking at him with a death stare.

"what was that?!" i yell, grabbing onto his shirt in frustration as i pull him closer to me. i wasn't actually mad, but it was just something you wouldn't usually expect from him.

"awh, am i not allowed to have fun?" he smirks, his hands now resting on my waist, pressing a small kiss to my lips.

"i didn't say that! just don't do that with your brothers there." i sigh, resting my head against his shoulder. "can we go relax now?"

he nods, beginning to interlock his fingers between mine while holding onto my hand gently, now walking away from the podcast studio as we make our way outside.

"i love you." matt smiles.

Definitely agree with you about the lore plot holes and what their focusing on,, like sure the new stuff is cool but there’s so much already existing species stuff that have been here since it’s inception without an explanation…

Synthetic and edible terras are apparently man made so does that mean humans live on Terrah?

What even is a terralien and why are they the way they are?

There’s so many great opportunities for world building that would be many talented world building writers dream to work with but we don’t really get anything..

How did the planetary terras get separated from the rest of the species? Who the hell knows.

I get the lore is incomplete but like I feel like these may or may not have a good chance of being explored because it seems they aren’t willing to back track and work on the lore of things said previously..

And definitely the worst part is how the lore is found out. I 100% agree with your point about saving the silly codes and puzzles for less important lore like… I get they’re trying to do the whole web ARG thing but it just doesn’t work when everything is so vague… like imagine if the gravity falls ARG was like this😭

Like the show just info dumps a bunch of seemingly random shit and the ARG has all the important shit you actually need to know… but since gravity falls is actually competent you don’t even need to know they HAVE an ARG site to understand the show

All in all this just goes to show like how many people have been saying, how half-baked the lore is rn..

Also noticed people in the terra uprising server found my synopsis of the lore very informative and accurate so uh thanks and glad I could help! :]

youre right, the plot holes here really distract from the "narrative," and again they really should have focused on GENERAL species lore first because now theres the chance things will need to be retconned once they actually do come up with the species lore

the web arg aspect of it can be done well, but not for major parts of lore. tell me about your world and species UPFRONT, dont make me dig around in the files just to find out what the hell a terra even is. save the puzzles and games for minor lore, like personality info about the NPCs. thats a fun way to engage the community while also not taking away from the experience of members who dont know/cant figure out the puzzles. the gravity falls comparison is also really good here, since you can watch the show without engaging with any of the ARG aspects and still have a fully formed narrative, a 10 year old watching the show for the first time can understand the world and events perfectly fine without digging through reddit to read backwards codes. this just reminds me of those people who will give important story details OUTSIDE of the story, like jk rowling tweeting dumbledore is gay, or vivziepop giving important details to the hierarchy of her world in podcasts.

its just another example of how terra staff's priorities are really out of whack, you release yet ANOTHER new subtype when your design approvals are still a mess, you make lore for the new subtype BEFORE the lore of the actual species, and you dont fully deliver on either front because theres next to no actual info on the design guidelines of the planetary subtype and there are really weird restrictions (like only being able to have circular planets) attributed to "lore," then we find this lore out and its got major plotholes and still doesnt explain why the planetary subspecies is only allowed to have planets in the visor and not other celestial bodies

in my ideal world, i think the planetary subspecies could operate the same as the fossil subspecies, where theres a "sub-subspecies" for planets, one for stars, one for galaxies, etc. etc. and then you can have your cake and eat it too. you can make your lore around the "planet" sub-subspecies while also not imposing weird and illogical design restrictions. and of course, this would all be done AFTER the general species lore is completed (and given in an EASILY ACCESSIBLE page on the website none of this ARG bs) because really that should have been done a year ago.

What would your dream album aesthetic be for LT3? Like colour pallette, album cover, promotional vibes, song vibes? (That last one is not quite an aesthetic question but I'm curious if there's a sound from his previous work you'd like to hear more of?)

Hi, anon. I'm not doing well with the wait as well. I was really hoping for a new single for the festivals 😩. Just something to take the edge off and give us a little more patience while we wait for him to "let life in" and finish his album in peace. (who am i kidding even then, i could never be patient for a new Louis album) . For the color palette, i would LOVE a purple/ pink themed album but i'm not too picky as long as he goes with soft pretty colors (the 28 clothing color palette always eats, he should take notes for the album 👀). As for the album cover, i can't give you an exact image bc the ideas are endless. My only request is that they do a lighter one than the walls and fitf covers. And just like the cover, i want the songs to be happy ones 😭. It's ok if he squeezes a couple of heart wrenching songs in, but as a whole i want a happy album and with new themes (pls i don't want another song about the toxic relationship that he keeps referencing to in songs like defenceless and habit and waoyf...). For the sound, as long as he doesn't try to fit in "the indie" persona and allows himself to experiment (or not) with the sounds, i'm more than happy with anything he comes up with (fitf is proof of that). BUT ngl, i think the man has the special gift of making pop perfection, so i would love a full on poppy song à la always you. All this time, she is beauty and written all over your face are such good songs but more importantly so unique to his voice and fit his voice to PERFECTION. I mean he always sounds heavenly but all this time and waoyf are something else. For promotion, it's really naive of us to expect any good promo atp (his team sucks 😔) and i'm not really keeping up with that stuff but i think it's all about payola nowadays (which he doesn't have AT ALL) and some selective public appearances and viral segments. Those interviews with the same 5 questions (at least two of them 1 dead related. The 1dead questions NEED to be banned btw) are almost useless. Ideally, i think he should do the fun segments/ interviews with potential viral moments like that chicken shop date and hot ones (let me dream ok 🤣) and some ladbible segments, a Zach Sang interview ( i mean a long, honest interview where he talks about everything while being his funny witty self. Could be another interviewer i only mentioned Zach bc Louis seems to open up to him and he did give us two amazing interviews), an interview on his YouTube channel where he talks about the album as a whole with details about each song like the breaking down walls and fitf ones (but perferably with a different interviewer), one or two podcasts bc they're really popular rn and they do ask questions that celebrities aren't asked about often and sometimes give you a glimpse of their true personality. A couple of tv appearances with performances at late night shows. That's all that comes to my mind rn but even then, without payola and with the media blacklisting it's very hard for his music to truly reach the gp and get the smash success it deserves. Anyway, regardless of the promo he is (or not) going to get i can't wait for LT3. That's all i can do as a fan. I can never put into words how much that first listen to a new album of his mean to me 🥹. Life changing that's for sure! I look forward for this man to change my life for the third time soon (fouth if we count LIVE).

Jilypad Week Day 4: Favorite type of story that you like to Read and/or Write for this ship?

There are so many types of stories that I love to read or would love to read / write in the future… so I made a list! Under the cut because this got long.

Established Jily falling for Sirius and trying to lure him into their bed/ relationship by any means necessary as an absolutely top tier fic plot that I cannot get enough of. Not only does it have James and Lily giving Sirius the love and attention and wooing he absolutely deserves, BUT Sirius can also be having major crisis at the same time. Sirius freaking out because he is already dealing with an inappropriate crush on his best friend, but now he’s also developing an EVEN MORE inappropriate crush on his best friend’s wife is just such a good time!! And it can include so many of my favourite tropes from the misunderstandings and mutual pining and obviousness. Wedding Jitters by @siriuslystarbucks has this kind of plot and its amazing! Maybe even my fav jilypad fic of all time.

Hot jilypad smut is always a winner. All three of them are far too attractive. Some favs in this catagory are Shh by penknife and Dark-haired men by julestales, Royalty by @jmagnabo92

Jilypad being brilliant, ruthless, capable and far too protective and loyal to each other during the war is another catagory of fics I love. These are two of my faves The Rule of Three by Ahida and Le Mot Vagabond by ironicallyinternational (both WIPs but moving toward  jilypad).

The three of them raising Harry together. I love the wholesomeness of this trope. But also love Pen’s metas on the three of them just being the hottest parents ever (which I want to link to but now can't find 😭😭 why is tumblr's search function like this 😭). And if raising Harry is paired with Jily trying to get Sirius into bed / a relationship with them (like type 1) then all the better!

(this turned into a bit of an unintentional list if my fav jilypad fics - I feel like they are always getting lost in my bookmarks so yay for a useful reference tool! Also I missed a whole bunch I am sure and there are probably another bunch I am yet to discover :))

And now onto the types of (or more ideas for) stories I would like to write or (preferably given my too long list of WIPs and lack of time) encourage someone to write so I can read haha:

I really want an atmospheric slow burn jily to jilypad story where the war takes a particularly nasty turn and to protect Harry, the three adults take Harry into hiding in the middle of nowhere. All they have is each other, they’re living off the land because they can’t be spotted even by muggles and maybe they aren’t allowed to use magic in case its traced. And by all rights they should be bored out of their minds, but they are just so grateful that they are all still alive. And Sirius, James and Lily just get closer and closer and the tension just builds and builds until suddenly it just snaps.

I’ve also fallen in love with war fic idea kind inspired by the Pearl Harbour movie (and also very much inspired by the Care of Magical Shippers podcast episode on Lilypad). James and Lily are together but James gets captured by death eaters and everybody think he's dead. Sirius and Lily lean on each other, grieving together, protecting each other and helping each other move on... then *things* happen between them. And they are riddled with guilt but James is dead, right? and surely he'd want them to be happy. But then James turns up alive! And everyone is drowning in guilt and feelings, both Sirius and James try to step out of the way of the other, because they love eo so much and want the other to be happy (even if it means they end up alone without either of the people they love). And Lily can't bring herself to make a decision because she loves them both so much. Everything is a big tangled mess until they release that nobody has to step aside as all three of them love each other, and its all gooey and happy in the end!

I know there are more too but I'm running out of time and this is way more than I expected to write so this will do :)

Reactions As I Read: ● the most human I've ever seen Splinter's eyes; simultaneously cool and terrifying ● "Now is not the time for you to talk, Hamato Yoshi. Now is the time for you to listen." - great advice that we should all follow more often than we do ● Master Masato is a wise sensei ● Tang Shen and Hamato Yoshi meet ● Yoshi and Oroku Saki are sent out on a blood contract ● lol the facial expressions during the fight are hilarious ● Yoshi and Shen are already married. Yoshi drags himself home to see her one more time before he dies of his wounds ● she forbids that he die because she is pregnant with who will become Leonardo ● a few years pass, they have 4 sons, and Oroku Saki becomes leader of the Foot Clan ● he defies Saki, and Tang Shen is killed in retaliation ● Yoshi goes into hiding with his sons ● aww, Splinter tells us how his wife lives on through their sons: intelligence and curiosity (Donatello), passion (Raphael), concern for others (Leonardo), and joy in all things (Michelangelo) ● "Saki does not know that my sons live again, but does that matter? He is searching for mutants. If he finds them, he with either bend them to his will or destroy them. Allowing either of these things to happen would be an insult to the memory of Tang Shen. It would be more than my heart could bear." 🥺😭 ● 👏 👏 👏 👏

Synopsis: Splinter is facing an army of Foot Ninja. He knows his sons think he is unshakably calm, ever in a zen state of mind, but he knows this is not so. Buried deep within him is a rage, one he tries very hard to suppress, and in this moment wants to give in to. His anger is directed towards Oroku Saki, known as the Shredder in this life, who has hunted him and his family through two lifetimes. Although in his former life Splinter was Hamato Yoshi, and he retains all his skills and memories, he has not taken a life in his new mutant body, and does not wish to change that.

Splinter struggles to maintain his composure. Part of him wants to slay Saki, and put an end to his evil before it stains the lives of countless others. Splinter knows he must remain in control of his emotions if he is to make it out of this situation alive.

Splinter suddenly remembers an event from his former life as Hamato Yoshi. Yoshi is beating up one of his peers when Master Masato arrives and orders him to cease and walk with him. Masato orders Yoshi to be silent as they walk through the woods. Masato explains to Yoshi that fire is a useful tool, albeit one that must be controlled properly, lest it become a danger to oneself. Masato points out that the anger within Yoshi is like fire, and he must learn to control it before it consumes him. He orders Yoshi to meditate on this until he comes to peace with it. Yoshi was at first furious over being sent off to meditate alone; it was then he realized that his being so angry proved Master Masato's point. He sat in quiet meditation for several hours.

Yoshi is startled by someone approaching and falls into a creek. He is at first indignant but calms down when he sees it is a pretty woman who has approached him. The woman, Tang Shen, offers to build Yoshi a fire to dry his wet clothes. During that first conversation, Yoshi's anger began to fade, and so the two began to see each other more and more often, until they got married.

During tea with Master Masato, Masato compliments Yoshi on his increased focus and skill as a result of gaining control of his anger. Oroku Saki, who is also present, is annoyed by the praise offered to Yoshi. Masato tells the two of them that they are being sent out an assignment to avenge the fallen son of a lord of a clan. Masato details the plan and the two set out later that night.

Yoshi and Saki are outside the building they are to infiltrate to assassinate their target when Saki decides that a change of plan is necessary; he will distract the guards, while Yoshi enters the building to eliminate the target. Yoshi's mind was clouded by anger called forth by Oroku Saki and he charged into the building blindly, losing the element of surprise and forcing himself to fight two armed men. He narrowly eliminates the two but is nearly defeated by the lord they were sent to kill, but his love for and determination to see Tang Shen again helped him persevere. Yoshi stumbled home, afraid he would die before seeing Tang Shen one last time. She insisted he remain strong, as if he could make it home he could surely survive. She also informed him that he was going to be a father. Over the next few years, Yoshi and Tang Shen had three more children, all sons.

Yoshi finally had the peace he had so long sought, until Saki rose to Jōnin of the Foot Clan. In a fit of rage at Saki's despicable actions, Yoshi renounced the Foot Clan and left (following events seen in The Secret History of the Foot Clan). Unfortunately Tang Shen paid the price for Yoshi's disobedience, and Yoshi and his sons were forced to flee for their lives. While on the lam, Yoshi's youngest son asked him why they had to eat nothing but berries for their dinner, enraging Yoshi. It was then that Master Masato's words of wisdom returned to him, and he broke down and apologized for being angry with his son. Although Yoshi mourned the loss of his wife, even now in his life as Splinter, he realizes that much of Tang Shen lives on in their sons: her intelligence and curiosity (his son in purple), her passion (his son in red), her concern for others (his son in blue), and her joy for life (his son in orange).

As Splinter fights the Foot Ninja, he is grateful for the fact that the Shredder does not yet know his sons are alive. He knows he will need the element of surprise to aid them in what he has just realized must be done: the Shredder must die. 1.) I really liked 3.5e because it gave a lot more variety and ways to make your character unique vs 5e today (don't even get me started on fucking OneD&D or whatever they're calling it. trash). Firstly, back then wizards was making so many books for that edition that you could make any kind of character you wanted to play. They even allowed official material to be printed by other companies!! you want to play the ultimate evil wizard who gives people cancer? that exists. you want to play the perfect necromancer, and maybe even be undead yourself? you can do that. You could build your characters skills to different levels and choose exactly how good you are at certain things. You could take a Flaw, a permanent debuff on your character but in exchange get a Feat! god fucking Prestige Classes!! those were the coolest fucking part of the game, building a character and leveling them up enough to unlock this special class with wild abilities you can't get from a basic class. this isn't to say that 3.5e didn't have its faults, it could be confusing and the math could sometimes really add up. in some ways it needed a bit of streamlining but 5e basically threw a lot of that away in order to streamline everything. If you want a good example but how fluid 3.5e could be, you should play the videogame Neverwinter Nights 1 or 2, the system they use in that game is taken directly from 3.5e. It just made characters feel so mechanically unique that each character felt different. These days it almost feels too formulaic and too streamlined.

2. I honestly don't know what the name of using it is called, anytime me and my friends have done it, we just use the reference book that comes with a tarot deck and spontaneously decide the outcome based on the way the card could be interpreted. For example, let's say you're fighting a monster, and you want to try and escape from the monster, maybe even lure it away from your friends so they can escape. If you drew the Ten of Swords, I would say that would mean that you successfully draw the monster away, but you fall prey to it in the process. or something similar, yanno? but I don't know if that style of playing has a name given to it lol

3. oh I actually had someone ask me that yesterday! I'll send you the post once I find it, I was very active yesterday so it may take me a minute lol

I could record a podcast on the different formulas and which ones work and not, but my carpal tunnel will NOT allow me to type it all 😭😭💔 I hope to shed some clarity on my process at least, but I really do recommend experimenting. I've been doing this for over a year, so I've experimented a lot.

For first messages, let's go over one of my new bots, I haven't posted this one yet fyi.

Notice my message is edited, it seldom is great the first time. Here, you see that the first ever response has ZERO dialog. This is actually a first for me, and I realized that there were multiple problems with my first message: I didn't use a name, I had not written anything in the moment (specifically, actions,) and something else I forgot. Even the little things make a difference, I never use personal pronouns so it might be different if you do. This is also too short for my liking.

Adding that I don't like the quick shift from the attitude I wrote in the greeting. It feels inorganic. The other replies are ver similar in nature.

I'm actually going to end this here, because I just remembered I'm not done toying with this bot 😭😭 it is far from perfect. More evidence that it really is a case by case basis unfortunately. For now, I'll show you my blacksmith Leo one.

To be fair, I already worked on him and he has been posted for a while so it looks a bit different from what yours might at the start because it has already been programmed.

This bot is kind of a take your own route one here, and my oc (an actual oc this time lol) is inviting him to her brother's wedding. I have coded in that user has a family he is familiar with, but no specifics. I have to make it a point to clarify if she has a large or small family. I also specified the wedding is in Sparta, a place in Greece. I am checking for a key things here: how is the bot responding to this information?

I don't want anything rude, especially not when other people will be using it, but I want to consistently get positive or neutral things. In this case it is an oc but think about bots where people might tell an actual thing about them, I do NOT want the bot to be like "screw that, you're stupid." (I have gotten bazar responses before with the most nonsense things like a favorite color and that does not need to be happening to unsuspecting people.)

If the bot is adapting well, then good. I also care about how long the responses are. I like long ones.

Also because the relationship between the user and Leo is mostly alluded to, I did have to go back and make a lot of edits to the definition to get good responses. Some people might use this bot for friendship, probably isn't the majority, but even then it should do just fine with that. Also know who is using it, but if it is just you, this part really does not matter.

There is a lot more personal preference from here, but it is 100% okay if you need to go back and do some editing. Whether that be in the greeting or the definition. It takes a lot of trial and error, sometimes.

Drawing. I don't know what you were expecting from me, but drawing must go on top. May it be homework, sketches, anatomy studies or fan art (from time to time, my original characters), I'm always up to something. Mostly because I get easily bored if I don't do something with my hands.

Reading. Huge nerd for fantasy books, but I'm incredibly nitpicking since my favourite part is the world building (it has become quite difficult to find good books that have also good in-deep lore of the world where they are set in, along with characters well-developed and not some cardboards). In the last few years, I've started reading also some manga. They're good. I also like classical literature, now I'm busy reading Classic English Literature in their original language. I'm quite a fast reader, if my adhd allows it 😅

Playing DnD. Mostly Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder. I like playing my silly characters and going on silly adventures and being a lil whimsical myself. Thinking of it, now most of my original character are somehow related to DnD, even if I don’t have a proper campaign to play them 😭😭😭 at the end of the day, I still like creating characters and stories.

Listening to music or podcasts. My favourite background noises when I have to do something 💖I should mention that fall in this category also the various "six hours long video commentary and in deep lore on [insert movie/tv series/whatever]" and the various DnD campaigns I follow.

Watching (my fav) TV series or movies. I'm one of those people who would rewatch their fav shows constantly. Incredibly, most of them are crime drama/thriller 😂. Some of my favs include: "Murder, She Wrote", "Criminal Minds", "Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries", "Bones" and "Law and Order" and a lot more (some of them are italian, and I doubt somebody would recognize them)

“it’s really nice to have you here mr. midoryia! thank you for agreeing to join us on our podcast. we know how busy you are saving the country, so it’s nice to see you in a different light” the man flashed him a smile, which izuku was happy to return.

“yeah of course! i figured i should see why everyone is telling me that this podcast is so great” izuku crossed one of his legs over the other. his pr team thought it’d be a good idea to branch out from the regular news interviews and talk shows, so they had scheduled him a podcast episode on the number one podcast in japan.

“so having the number one hero with us is of course a prime opportunity to pick your brain. all about your hero work, who your role models were throughout the years, and maybe let us look behind the big deku label and just let us get to know midoryia izuku if you allow”

izuku nodded with his picture perfect smile “i’d like that. most people don’t respect that i’m an actual person and not just some figure with no feelings, so i really appreciate that”

the host nodded looking down at his phone “so first we wanted to give you a big congratulations! you are your wife are celebrating your second year of marriage. that must be nice”

“yes we did! thank you from both of us really. i took some time off and we had a really, really nice vacation together. it was nice to be away from all the eyes for a while”

“of course! i know it can probably get hard with all the fans that you have. everybody wanting an autograph, kids lining up to meet you, both women and men alike wanting a chance with you even though you’re clearly married. how do you deal with that in your relationship?”

“a lot of communication, like, a lot” izuku nodded his head slowly just to make his point “we set boundaries to make sure we’re comfortable with everything that happens. like one thing she’s not very comfortable with is fans kissing me on the cheek, and i totally respect that! the first time it happened we did have a bit of falling out but we communicated and got through it”

the host nodded his head listening along “he’s not just good at saving the world folks! he’s also a relationship pro”

this made both of them laugh easing away any underlying tensions that were there before.

“staying on the topic of your relationship we have a question. every week we ask people what questions to ask to our guests when they come onto the show, and the most asked question was this. what was the exact moment that you fell in love with your wife? i mean she must’ve done something to make you look at her the way you do”

“hearty question,” he joked rubbing his hand against his chin “but i’m pretty sure i know when. it was back in UA, third year. it was our last big event before we graduated and i was struggling to get ready”

he could imagine it like it happened yesterday. third year izuku midoryia stood looking at himself in the mirror with an annoyed look on his face. it had been three years and he still hadn’t learned how to tie his damned tie. the lump of a tie sat dead center on his chest staring right back at him, taunting him.

it’s not like he didn’t try to learn. he had kacchan try to teach him. that didn’t end well. he had his mom try too, and he ended up getting his hands tangled. and youtube? forget it.

he silently cursed to himself taking off the tie once more. there were three soft knocked at his door, which at this point, annoyed him further.

“kacchan i said i’d be right out! could you at least wait five minutes before coming back?”

“izuku? it’s me” your voice alone made his shoulders ease. he came over to the door shaking his head.

“i’m sorry y/n. i thought you were kacchan-“ when he finally got a good look at you all of his words caught in his throat. you were wearing a sage green dress that went down to your ankles. he wasn’t complaining though because on the left there was a slit where he got a good view of your legs “but you are definitely not him”

you walked past izuku white heels clicking against the floor “i sure hope not. i don’t think he can pull of this dress like i can” izuku shut the door softly then made a beeline over to you. as soon as you turned around you noticed he was leaning down to kiss you “woah there pretty boy,” you held up a single finger blocking his lips “attitude check first, kisses later. what’s the matter?”

he sighed when you rejected his advances “i don’t have an attitude-“

he stopped when you made your ‘don’t lie to me face’

“fine,” he stood in the mirror and watched as you stood next to him. you looked stunning. the way you wore the dress like it was perfectly crafted for you had him staring long and hard. it made him feel like a doofus beside you with his slightly messy hair and chunky tie.

“i can’t get my tie right”

you snorted turning him towards you “you’re acting like that’s new news” he rolled his eyes at your comment pulling away from your hands “no! baby i’m sorry i didn’t mean it” your hands gently grabbed his wrists pulling him back “i’ll do it for you”

his eyebrows scrunched together as you started slipping off his tie “you know how to tie ties? how? why? when?”

you couldn’t help but laugh at his confused state going to wrap the tie around his neck again straightening it out “my grandma taught me. she said that i need to learn if it i ever find that special man in my life. i didn’t really believe her because who the hell would i be tying a tie for?”

he watched carefully as you flipped the tie around with ease. folding it this way, then slipping it through one of the openings. he also watched your face. concentrated on the task at hand. his heart was racing by the time you slide the perfect knot up to his neck. tilting your head you nodded.

“but i’m glad she did y’know,” you grabbed the middle of his tie pulling him in for a kiss. he wrapped one of his arms around your waist and the other hand went securely on your back. when you pulled away there was a stupid grin on your face “cause there’s no one else i would want to do this for”

it was like he was getting hit by a truck of nostalgia. all the feelings he felt in that moment came rushing back to him. the swoop of his stomach when you pulled him into the kiss. the alarms blaring in his head from the new sensation.

he. was. in. love.

the kind of love people look for in movies, books, shows. he found that in you.

he sighed into the kiss going to move you against the wall. you had your hands on his waist trying to steady yourself. when he pulled away your face was flushed from his sudden actions. which he made sure not to mention in the podcast.

“well maybe i should do your ties more often”

“yeah.. you should”

izuku snapped out of the memory finally placing himself back into reality “that’s how i remember it. i don’t know if my wife remembers differently” he shrugged with a smile on his face.

“wow, that is straight out of a romance book. so does she still tie your ties today?”

izuku nodded “oh yeah, i don’t trust anyone else to do it. even on our wedding day i forced her to tie it. she was all worried about me seeing her before the wedding so i covered my eyes”

you stood there in your white dress trying not to laugh at your 6 foot husband covering his face like a child playing hide and seek “you really want me to do this?”

“please honey”

“only since you asked so nicely, but no peeking!” walking over you went to put his tie on like you did every other time. when you finished you gave his chest a pat “there you go champ”

“y/n.. you didn’t give me a kiss”

“what?”

he let out a childlike sigh “every time you do my tie you pull me in for a kiss. that’s how this works”

now you laughed.

“izu we can’t kiss before we have the wedding. it’s not the way it goes”

“i won’t tell anyone!”

after a couple moments of silence he could feel a tug on his tie as you drew him close. it was a quick kiss, but just enough to get him through.

the host nodded along a bit jealous that his love life wasn't as magical.

Totally understandable ive been dealin with long work & other stuff so i feel ya. My energy levels have been all over the place. Ooh have fun in alicante! Right? So Im not on the semester system, it's actually the quarter system! Which means I have 10 weeks of instruction and 1 week of finals! So I will be finishing up my second out of the three in the academic year. Truly hell lol midterms start the end of the 2nd week for some classes.... like today (Tuesday) I had my 3rd and final math midterm and our final exam is this Saturday. Truly insane lol OMG ALSO THIS WAS MY LAST DAY WITH MY HOT PROFESSOR 😭😭😭 so sad about that because I wont get to see that man anymore! this is another thing where we have no idea what we don't know. we really have no idea what's going on, what they're like privately, and probably never will...and that's okay! it's important to remember that the way things appear aren't always the way that they are. we all have "bad" sides, we all have negative aspects to our personality and it doesn't make us bad people.

personally i think van requires a really high degree of control over his creative work can be incongruent with social cohesion and maintaining healthy group dynamics. everyone should have the power to push back and reach compromise so everyone can be happy! and that can be hard to do when one person wants to control everything or have final say on all decisions.

from the podcast, i got the impression that bondy just wants to do his own thing without having to compromise. and i get that! i think we all do! i don't blame him for it! i don't know if he was talking about van specifically but if he was, i don't blame him for wanting to move away from building someone else's dream and pandering to their ego.

we'll never really know what happens behind closed doors but tbh i just think this is a classic case of things not working out. there doesn't have to be a bad guy, we don't have to assign fault, sometimes things just don't work out.

i know the court of public opinion loves to have an antagonist so they have someone to hate and scapegoat, but as we all know in our own lives most falling outs are never that simple and there are two sides to every story. it's very tempting to assign fault but we just have to accept that we don't have the full picture and never will, nor is it our business or our place to pass judgement.

it's also pretty apparent that van has gone through some shit and was having a rough time for a while, and we have no idea what that was other than it affected him to the point where his public persona was altered. i feel sorry for him in that regard, it would suck to be going through it and have people try to make you out to be a bad person for it.

i also think people get pretty entitled with what they expect from their faves, like van not coming out after shows or wanting to engage with fans isn't indicative of him being mean or a bad person and idk having to deal with a bunch of people crying and screaming and demanding a part of you would get really exhausting and even moreso if you were dealing mental health issues and personal crises and traumas.

shit like...i've had times where it's hard to even engage with people who love and accept me unconditionally, much less complete strangers who think i owe them something. i can't imagine having to deal with that in the public arena where every word and misstep can be held against you.

if you've read this far thank you and i apologize for babbling on but in conclusion: yeah, maybe he does have a bad/mean/crappy side but it doesn't mean he's an inherently bad person, we don't know what we don't know, and people are allowed to like or dislike anyone for any reason. but i think we could all benefit from extending a little grace and compassion, especially in these hard times 🕊

They also claim to be an entertainment lawyer and go by ENTY. He’s been around forever but became a TERF and a q-anon conspiracy theorist maybe 5-10 years ago. He literally believes in Larry and has posted many blinds that Harry and Louis are together. He also hates liberal celebrity women who speak out in social issues (like Olivia) and will go hard against them for no reason except he’s a misogynist. Like no one should ever take him seriously - he’s basically VisiblyBi’s long lost brother. The fact that DeuxMoi regularly has him on her podcast says it all. They are a perfect toxic team.

YOU are really.. the sweetest of all time. sorry it took me a bit to respond, i haVEN’T HAD TIME TO SIT DOWN N ACTUALLY GET ON TUMBLR IN A COUPLE DAYS SO I AM RN BEFORE I LEAVE FOR XMAS DINNER…. that song is so vibey and lowkey, i like it omg… i agree it’s so fucking stupid lollll, especially when the education system doesn’t really allow to explore your interests THAT much. it’s getting so……… involved and One Thing has to take up your whole time in order for you to be part of smth and it’s jsut.. dumb. it’s hard to navigate. OHHH you should totally get into podcasts!! if you have any monotonous work or a commute or anything like that, they’re SUPER helpful to pass the time… they’ve really gotten me through the past year and a half of work, lol. and LUCKY YOU’RE IN A BOOK PERIOD.. i love that feeling so much, one of the best in the world.FJKLDSJFKLSD I FEEL LIKE.. (except the naked part but hed still do it if robbe was up for it lMAO) i just want them to be happy. a great group of friends and family they still get to see all the time. meeting each other’s parents and working through their past trauma together…. just. sap.

my favorite holiday….. unpopular opinion but as a single person, i love valentines day even if it makes me ache for love. i just love a holiday that celebrates love. and generally christmas!!!!!! this year i have a LOT going on around this time, so it doesn’t really feel like it’s christmas at all so. less enjoyable, but ! still love the cheery vibe and i love giving ppl things. wbu?

my fashion style is……… lack of style. i have a hard time finding clothes that look good, in my opinion, on me, so it’s hardjdkfjdklfjs.. i wear a lot of like. leggings and tshirts and jeans with sweaters and cardigans, you know.. very basic, not advanced or remarkable in the slightest. which is not to say that i don’t love fashion bc i do have a style i like i just. don’t own much that fits into it bc i hate spending money on clothes for some reason.

the way i’m the least capable human… i don’t really cook. i feel like i overthink eveyrthing in the kitchen and it takes me 489593458 mins to prepare bc it has to be PERFECT, but cooking can also just be a feel thing and i’m not good at thatjdklf. if i had to, i’m resourceful enough to start making meals for myself, but i don’t really as it stands. with baking, mostly the same, although when i was younger i loved it!! i think i’m pretty good when i do do it, i just….. don’t often lol.
