Victuuri (Yuri On Ice, Anime)

I watched this anime and fell in love with it and their chaotic but adorable and sweet relationship SO HARD. And the relationship is right there in canon which is SO NICE to see in anime where it's just another small portion of their lives. The way they are both obsessed with each other too 😍

Both canon. Royai is canon, argue with the wall! Lol I guess Royai is like half canon, but whatever. Explicit confirmation is not needed to know those 2 are married. HuaLian (TGCF, Donghua)

I've read these books for the first time recently and now these 2 live rent free. Like honestly, the OBSESSION with each other. The adorableness. The respectfulness of boundaries. They are the morally Grey anti heros and lowkey villains in love badass scifi/fantasy cast of characters who ALL fall in love with each other and are only stronger for it. And it's a true triangle, where all 3 are in love and feel more complete for it. There is no choosing.

Unhinged characters falling in love. What could be better. They both match energies so well, bring out the best in each other and fight so hard for each other or sometimes fight each other too. These books are so good, but so brutal. Lol the relationships follow suit. But I freaking LOVE them. I cried so much reading it all and yet I'm obsessed and have been since I first read them. It'll probably never stop.

sam localvoidcat i owe you my LIFE!!! i have a lot of meta analysis thoughts about her but i said pretty much all of it like 4 days ago for a bingo card ask game so uh. heres all of that. tldr: malon has a lot of potential as a character and theres something v interesting with her in that her and links storys run parallel which is sooo compelling but nintendo and the loz/oot fandom tends to reduce her to Link's Wife and nothing else (as for why they do that uuuh. twilight princess link is canonically the link from ocarina of time's descendant, which implies time had kids after majoras mask. tp link is a rancher (like malon) and knows eponas song at the start of the game without it having to be taught to them (eponas song was written by malons mother + malon teaches it to time + malon sings it in oot). insert its always sunny conspiracy board meme here. i was already fixated on her when i was little and i thought the malink thing was a lame theory for a while but then i thought abt them both a little too hard and now im here ig)

ok time for me to go crazy insane. im gnna use this post to talk abt canon stuff and then im gnna use libras ask to talk abt my own headcanons LO)L!!!!

-she also proceeds to fall in and out of love with link in the span of two pages. the manga is not very good sometimes i think. himekawa saw the dialogue line abt malon secretly waiting on a "knight in shining armor" to save her and ignored everything else abt her which sucks ass but is also very predictable for how himekawa writes. i will probably still redraw one of the panels from it anyway lol

-^btw the knight in shining armor thing is an interesting thing to note bc thats something she (malon) seems to be, like, ashamed of? maybe?? which imo feeds back into her whole thing of overworking herself while also understanding that its not okay or normal for her to be doing so. like. "no you cannot want for other things you have responsibilities (even though you undeniably do already)" but omg girl youre nine. except for seven years later when youre sixteen and even still. please take care of yourself please let urself relax and CONSIDER happiness i am begging yuo

-generally speaking malon is a very kindhearted and overwhelmingly understanding character and those traits are almost always at her own expense. she knows her dad is the reason shes as alone and stressed as she is, but she loves him anyway. she knows itd be best if she just left the farm once ingo takes over, but shes scared for what will happen to the animals so she stays somewhere that makes her sad and miserable instead. she wants to have friends her own age, but she understands how important keeping the ranch running is so she doesnt pursue it at either of the points in which we see her.

Sooo we know that Shinaya eventually got together since you literally gave them 4 kids. Why they decided to start their relationship again? Did they eventually sorted out their issues? I hope that their kids at least grew up in a healthy and loving family instead of THAT

THEY GROW UP IN A HEALTHY AND LOVING FAMILY !!! i picture ayano and shintaro's shitshow relationship happening like right after post str and goes on for maybe at least a year. but i picture them getting back together in their mid twenties. the answer to this is rly simple, theyre totally different people by the time they get together again.

like. its them when theyre 19/20 fastforward to them being like 25. its TOTALLY different. both have gotten help, shintaro isnt a self centered self sabotaging asshole anymore, ayano isn't suicidal anymore. by this point they've been back to being friends for YEARS!! they've gotten to a point where theyre totally normal to each other. they've gotten to a point where they can talk about their past relationship and cry together about how bad it was and how sorry they both are and being able to explain why they were doing and saying the things they did and said. theyre able to trust each other with their issues like regular friends. they're able to make jokes about being exes. they're able to laugh together about it too.

the reason they get back together if they do (and if we're talking abt my cringe kagekids, clearly they do) is very simple!! they LIKE&LOVE EACH OTHER💗💗💗 and are now older and understanding and kind of back to the puppy love it shouldve been all that time ago. and theyre silly and its CUTE.

i also think they get back together while ayano is adopting her first kid. she's going thru the process and its rly stressing and shintaro helps her through it all and hehe. maybe they trip and kiss a little oopsie. by this point ayano's grown so much and is able to put so many boundaries she's like ok but im gonna be a mom btw. so if u dont wanna date me bc of it its fine i am not gonna choose you over my kid and shintaro's like YES MA'AM 🫡🫡🫡

Omg ok non-rottmnt storytime cuz I'm overwhelmed by happiness, I'm sorry.

So. About 5 years ago I was nonbinary for a while. Like an entire year. I was binding, i cut my hair to pass as more masculine, everything. It made me feel like the first time Stevonnie is made/brought out: totally giddy and frolicking, giggling to themselves and just finally enjoying life.

Well i went to work bound, acted like i wasn't femme anymore, and i could tell i was confusing tf outta people (which shouldve been enough, looking back on it)... until they heard my voice. Once I spoke I watched them visibly relax as they "realized" I was a "girl." My voice is naturally high but especially when I'm being nice or just generally when I'm happy.

After getting misgendered no matter what I did for a year, I gave up.

Well flash forward to this past week or so, I've been binding again and LOVING IT, but didn't change my pronouns. TONIGHT one of my friends actually asked what my pronouns were and I was honestly stumped. I went back and forth before answering "well idk because if I went by 'they/them' I know it'd be really confusing for everyone else, especially since I'm established here as a female already" to which she replied "f***everyone else, what would YOU want to be called, what would make YOU happy." I smiled and without hesitation said "well they/them then."

I had stunned myself with this answer and kinda looked away, trying to figure out what had just happened.

I'd known the answer the whole time, I was never meant to be female, I've been nonbinary/agender this whole time. Even my subconscious knew I'm not female. For a bit recently I was going by "azurgirl" but honestly agender fits better. Azurgirl has the implication that for the most part I'm still feminine, when the opposite is true.

Point is I cried at work because my friend is awesome and accepted me, which is my first form of acceptance outside familial connections. My younger sister has been there for me through this whole journey, too, and I want to thank her because seriously. Couldn't have done it without you 💗 I didn't even start exploring all this until we talked that one day (you know the one...if not I'll tell you). I literally would not have found myself if not for you. I'll always be grateful.

Lore stuff . mostly abt underdevelopment. not angsty, more in, 'I have Been thinking abt this.'

being the Village Idiot: ostracized by lit. everyone you meet. anyone that is kind overemphasizes how "smart you are... considering" or that you are "intelligent in your own way" -

which, like, you dont realize what is happening here. Everyone can tell that you are slow, behind, both in socialities, body development, and the practicals of math, language, sci, history. during my parent-teacher conferences my dad would, point blank, answer with a precise timelines n examples re: "did she miss any development milestones?" and i couldnt comprehend it despite. i saw this person he was describing as an "other"

probably the most glaring example that shouldve cued me into - i am, Behind - is that when middleschool-me was tested for gifted, i was near immediately put into the special needs classes afterwards.

i did realize it was abnormal - i confronted the teacher, but i thought - "im here because you think i have depression!" - to which she went... o_o ...

like. absolute 0 logic connects happening here. i was cycled thru kindergarten classes n appropriate while i was in the third/fourth grade- and i didnt realize that is. Weird. until a few days ago.

also, homework started in - second gradeish - and I thought it was "optional" despite, you know, everyone handing theirs in and going over it in class. it wasnt until fifth that i was told that no, I, Too, needed to do HW - and i struggled bc I Hadn't ever done it before.

and to be clear. it was Village Idiot, i'm not - exaggerating, Everyone Knew. there was a test, in my elem classes, that - everyone flunked, sans one person. and the teacher went, do you know who passed? i was pointed out, named, and everyone was like. What. my success made everyone else feel even more of a failure - "she, the Token Stupid, passed. you all should feel ashamed n embarrassed of yourselves" to which they were

me: :D and i passed bc i double-checked my answers for once!!

as i got older i did better in, 'filling in the blanks'. i became very good at the - memoric, portion, of school - this exact same scenario happened in my teenage years. "everyone sans one failed." and my classmates' eyes slid to me, =_=, bc i always passed

i think now it's a bit hard to comprehend me as, 'stupid,' thanks to in some form of masking. it takes... a bit of, 'getting close,' to go. Something Went Wrong Here.

My kid has been an extremely picky eater for several years, and it's always a struggle to get him to try something new, even if we know he'll like it. He's recently started at least trying things (which is all I've ever asked of him, to try) and he's discovering he actually likes many different things.

We got him to try chicken parm by telling him it's chicken, bread, and mozzarella, all his favorite things. And he loved it!

At Costco I always encourage him to try out whatever samples they have going. He found out he enjoys guacamole! I thought he would, because avocado was one of the first things I introduced him to as a baby and he LOVED it, but he had stopped eating it at some point.

A few weeks ago, he was eyeing a burger I was eating and I offered him a bite. He usually eats mostly plain burgers. Just beef patty, ketchup, and bread. Mine had bbq sauce, bacon, and onion rings on it. He LOVED it!! He was kinda distraught he'd been eating such plain burgers for so long when there was such good stuff out there lmao

We went out to dinner last night, and as me and husband were deciding where to go, Red Robin was mentioned as a possibility. I said we shouldv try it, since kiddo just discovered he likes things on his burgers, the menu would blow his mind.

He went with the Royal Red Robin, with the egg over easy. He took his first bite and his eyes went wide and he just devoured the thing. Put way too much food in his mouth at one point lol, nearly finished the whole burger, which is a lot of food for him! He was like "I'm so happy I think I'm gonna cry, this is the most delicious thing I've ever eaten" and stuff XD

It was so nice seeing him enjoying food, and enjoying trying new things. It's been many years of (sometimes not so) patiently offering him things, asking him to try while still giving him the food he would eat, etc. He's been talking about trying new foods for maybe a year now, but it's only recent months he's actually going through with it in earnest.

He IS ND, diagnosed ADHD (as I am) and is potentially autistic based on some of his behaviors. The food thing, though, always seemed acquired. As a baby and toddler, he loved all sorts of food and wanted to try everything. We have video of him just over a year old, trying hot and sour soup and asking for more. He went through a hilarious stint where all he wanted to eat were onion rings.

Then some things in our lifestyle changed, my parents ended up mostly responsible for his diet while I struggled with (getting) my new fibromyalgia dx, and they pretty much just fed him McDonald's 🙃 (Husband was traveling for work, to answer the 'and where was he' question)

And when I started getting better and tried to get him to eat different things, I found he was stubborn and only wanted things like chicken nuggets and plain burgers. Where did my adventurous eater go!? And this is why it felt acquired and not a matter of neurodivergence (I mean, the ND could contribute to it being acquired, but that it wasn't hard coded into him and could thus be UNacquired)

It's been many years of struggle, slowly finding different foods he would like, and now he's finally, FINALLY trying things again, and HE'S happy about it, and so am I 😭

Fiendish Friendships

Tumblr. Tumblr, Im in a real spot. Not a big life changing thing, just one of those significant things that socially awkward and socially anxious people like me are not equiped to deal with. Let me start from the beginning. 3 years ago, Ive moved to a new area to live with my love. I know no one around and have no friends closer than an hours drive away. Alex has a friend at work in a long term relationship with a lady Alex thinks I’d get along with. We all hang out, and hit it off great. We’re all fast friends, hanging out all the time and everything is great. Till the honeymoon phase of friendship wears off. Alex doesnt like her anymore. Shes a pathological liar, drama queen, bandwagon girl, selfish, self centered, irresponsible and ‘a bad influence’. For a long, long time, I argued with him. “People arent perfect, she’s still a good person and friend, I dont want it to hurt your friendship with her husband,” and so on. I was trying to find that line of whats forgivable when youre friends with someone. For a long time, she was worth it. Then she started getting worse. Steadily increasing all the things I struggled to accept in her, and canceling our plans with lame excuses and lies. She became a bad friend. So finally one night, when one of her lies put me in a bad spot with our roommate, I had had enough.

I was not kind, Tumblr. I keep a fierce hold on my temper because I know how I can be when I don’t. I know the reprocussions of losing your temper, and I know I get extreme when I do. But even with that in mind, I meant everything I said. I called her out on her lies, her manipulations, her everything. I told her what I really thought and how I really felt. I know I didnt handle it like I should have. I was not adult or responsible about it, and I was far from kind.

By promising to do and be better, she convinced me to try to be friends, with the condition that I do call her out on her lies and misbehavior. Long story short, shes now a completely absent part of my life. I tried for a while to still talk and see her, but it was obvious that she had no intent on following through, so I quit. Fast forward again, and Alex and I never really talked about what happened, but he brings it up one night after seeing her husband. 'It has changed our friendship, and Im really upset. I think you were wrong and I wish you hadnt stopped seeing her.’ It broke my heart. I have a really hard tome communicating verbally at all, much less when I’m upset. Long story short again, he knows my side and how much it upsets me, but I feel like we’re still not on the same page about it. END DRAFT

My thoughts now, something like 9 years later- Alex had this habit of bait and switching me. I can see it now. He had been pushing me to stop being friends with her, and when I finally quit, he was mad because it affected his friendship with her husband. I know that the way I went about things couldve been done better, but now I know he just wanted me to play nice when he wanted nice. To pretend everything was fine, but just stop hanging out with her or having a real friendship without the reality of the breakdown of that friendship. Maybe he thought that disconnecting softly wouldve led to a different outcome, and maybe it wouldve, but I didnt know what he expected of me, and my relationship with this woman was my own. I ended things with less decorum than I shouldve. I lost my temper because again, someone I loved was actively hurting me.

How does that depth of love and hurt end calmly? Maybe when I have more peace within myself I’ll know the answer to that.

were you having a hard time getting through oth adult seasons or is that just me? like the whole time im just like "shouldve stayed a teen drama" and not even bc of lucas or peyton (neither is my faves anyway) bc the show just sucks on its own? obvs there are good moments, but dragging it that long is just boring and kind of feel bad for the actors who could've done more projects but silly little teen drama turned drama? lol

I have a very strange relationship with OTH, but the short answer is yes I did. I liked s5 enough but found s6 unwatchable. I didn't even like s4 much. The high school years could be magic and I was down bad for Brucas/Jeyton so I basically became apathetic when it was clear those ships were done for good. I wish I'd watched the show when I was more mature because some people are absolutely obsessed to this day and it seems so fun. (Oftentimes I wish I'd watched The OC when I was older/more mature because I'd gatekeep it less and enjoy it as a whole more too.)

I definitely agree about the actors. A while ago when it was brought to my attention that James Lafferty and Mischa Barton had worked with Evan Rachel Wood on Once and Again, I was floored. Both had such potential but it feels like the teen dramas that made them famous also wrecked their long-term careers.

(a future trunks x reader christmas gift for my bro @degenerate-otaku sorry if it isnt the best i dont write x readers all the time and found this idea to be a good one and decided to run with it)

trunks had returned from the future a couple months ago, and the kid version of him had gotten over his small identity crisis, although he still found it weird to look at a future version of himself. you where only unsure of him slightly, of course you being a friend to vegeta, despite being a weak human, did do you good on getting information about the future trunks.

"tell me more about his future." you demanded of vegeta who only glanced your way for a second before continuing to walk down the street you caught him on.

"as if i would tell you woman." vegeta huffed as you slowly caught up to him, your shoes crunching in the snow.

"i have a name and you know it damn well vegeta." you said with a low murderous underside to your voice, the only thing that caused vegeta to flinch at the tone was its striking similarities to friezas and king colds.

"alright, Y/N, i can tell you a bit about his future." vegeta said giving in with no fight at all.

"good, now spill it." you ordered once more as vegeta came to a halt.

"his reality is in ruins, all of us are dead." vegeta explained, causing you to drop your harsh persona for only a second.

"thats all you have to tell me?" you asked almost cockily.

"the androids caused most of it, other than that, we dont very much else or why hes here." vegeta explained with a sigh.

"thank you for telling me more about your sons reality." you said.

"am i free to go?" vegeta asked somewhat agitated.

"yeah, your free to go, tell bulma your having a visitor for dinner tonight." you added on before taking a turn away from vegeta who lifted off before taking his leave.

mere hours had passed that felt like an eternity to you before it felt like an ideal time to drop by and make your existence known, bulma excited for her friend to drop by.

"probably shouldve worn something better than this, but oh well." you said as you looked at your simple outfit of loungewear before ringing the doorbell, the younger trunks answering the door and letting you in.

"hey Y/N, you here for food?" kid trunks asked as he led you to the living room hands behind his head.

"course i am." you answered with as you looked into the living room finding goku arguing with vegeta, gohan sitting on the ground reading a book, goten playing some video games and the future trunks sitting in the corner of the couch silently.

"hes been brooding in the corner for a while now, good luck getting him to talk." kid trunks said as he trotted over to goten to join his friend in gaming, you simply taking a seat next to the future trunks who tried to inch away, uncomfortable at the contact face tinted red from the embarrassment or was it the anxiety.

"whats your name?" you asked the demi saiyin, who stayed silent for a minute.

"trunks..." he answered with.

"nice name." you said as you tried to inch a little bit closer.

"thanks, whats your name?" trunks asked cautiously.

"oh, its Y/N." you told him.

"thats a good name, better than mine." trunks said as he inched further from you, face a slightly darker shade of red.

"is that a...?" you trailed off as your attention was caught by the holster he had on his back.

"my sword?" trunks asked as he removed it from the sheath with ease, the blade a good two feet long at bare minimum, an inch thick at its widest and razor sharp at the edges.

"yeah, that." you said as you ran a hand across the flat part of it.

"be careful, its sharp enough to cut through anything." trunks warned as he steadied his grip to make sure he didnt accidently hurt you with it.

"i'll be careful." you said as you inspected the steel blade. "can i hold it?" you asked.

"its hefty, but i guess so." trunks said as he instructed you on how to hold it properly before letting you hold it, the blade instantly dropping to the ground, mere inches from hitting it.

"no shit its heavy." you said as you tried to lift it to be at around eye level like how its constantly shown in tv.

"want to head outside so i can show you how to use it?" trunks offered.

"course i do, but its nearly time to eat." you said as you attempted to hand the blade back to trunks who thanked you for it before sliding it back into the sheath with ease as though it was light as a feather.

"foods on!" bulma shouted out to the living room everyone rushing over to the kitchen, only to find the greatest christmas platter fathomable, a little bit of everything for everyone.

"this is some good looking food." you said as you took a seat in front of the best part of the meal, trunks taking a seat beside you, the kid version taking the other side.

"dig in!" bulma exclaimed a shameless and voracious feeding frenzy enacting, you just barely getting anything on your plate.

"i should really work on my reflexes sometime..." you groaned as you took a bite of the cranberry jelly in the shape of a can, a few pieces of turkey and some salad.

"here, im assuming you like ham, judging by how close you sat to one of the three on the table." trunks said offering you a few slabs of the chunk on his plate.

"im good, i know that you probably have an appetite larger than mine anyways." you said.

"your choice." trunks said before tearing into the plate of various delicacies.

"on second thought, could i have a piece?" you asked, the intoxicating scent of the meat finally turning the tide.

"sure, nothing feels better than helping a pretty woman." trunks said sliding a slab of ham onto your plate, the sudden boldness catching you off guard.

"im not that pretty, just a little bit busty is all..." you muttered under your breath before taking a bite of the ham being sent to foodie heaven.

"good food?" trunks asked through a mouthful of salad.

"delectable." you answered with before taking a second bite.

"after dinner lets head outside so i can teach you some basic abilities if you want me to of course..." trunks said trailing off a bit at the end, catching how bold he was and shunning himself for it, face deep red.

"less talk, more food." you answered with before taking a chunk of the cranberry jelly.
