Don’t get me wrong because I genuinely think Taylor Swift is a talented lyricist but she really has not artistic growth… She has written the same exact songs four hundred times but now she just puts a random words generator. Like, some of those lyrics sound AI generated. And she’s 34 years old but her albums still speak on the same things. There’s zero evolution. Some of those lyrics feel targeted to a 19 years old that is in her “indie aesthetically bad boys that get high and I think I can fix phase” which is basically the same as her old material but way more cringey for some reason. And I’m not trying to compare but Beyoncé at that age was making Lemonade. It’s hard to think this is the biggest pop star the world has to offer us. This is white mediocrity. The songs are fun to edit over fictional characters but when you put into perspective her whole work is so lackluster. So utterly boring and predictable. Maybe she needs to take a break (?). And somehow, people and white music critics will pretend this album is comparable to the likes of Cowboy Carter.

this fandom is so not it OH MY GODD

I was so so happy that we finally got bi buck - I felt seen, I felt represented. The storyline was perfect - it was simple, and beautifully acted. It genuinely made me respect the show and abc so damn much. But the fandom fucking ruined it for me. This was the fucking representation I have been looking for, waiting for, for so damn long, and the fandom had to act so fucking entilted and obnoxious that I can’t even enjoy it.

I do not fucking care how much you ship buddie, I do not care how much you want buck and eddie to get together, what I do care about is the fact that you are completely disregarding the fact that we finally have bi buck. People have been asking for this for years, but suddenly it’s not okay because it’s not eddie? Or we can’t be happy that he’s bi because of the fact that he is perfectly happy and in love with a man who isn’t eddie? Why is it that you can’t fucking appreciate what almost the entire fandom has wanted for years just because it didn’t go the way you wanted it to? You cannot find a single damn bucktommy related post (especially on the official accounts) without a large handful of people making it about buddie. If we could use our critical fucking thinkings skills for one fucking second, and maybe decide not to be fucking illiterate for just one fucking minute, then maybe we would be able to see that this post is about buck and TOMMY, not buck and eddie. Stop fucking making it about them and appreciate that we finally got what we have been asking for for years. How would you like it if we were to make a buddie post about bucktommy? Concept: the justice league finds out that Blaze and Satanus, the rulers of hell, are kids of their ‘even more of a boy scout than Superman’ coworker’s “boss” and think Shazam is the Christian God. They ask Billy really vague questions that lead Billy into confusing them even more and they become convinced that Marvel’s Wizard guy is God with a capital G and Marvel’s either an angel or the second coming of Jesus.

Meanwhile Shazam doesn’t even know what the Bible is and his knowledge about religion is so outdated he still thinks Solomon’s Judaism is new age and not worth his time to research such a ‘fad’ religion, but he knows humans will make a religion out of anything as well as bastardize existing ones and very well could have mixed up actual tales that involve him, his allies, and his children into some sort of melting pot of a religion.

So when someone finally asks Marvel outright if his “boss” is God, Billy goes ‘wait… old guy in white robes and sandals, with long white hair and a beard… lives in space… aka the “heavens”, whose a ghost(Holy Spirit), and knows everything(historama)??? I need to dig deeper into this hold on guys’ and goes off to ask the wizard.

So when Billy asks the Wizard he just tells Billy “well, my boy, if so many things match up, maybe it is so and the tales of myself and my champions grew so estranged from their origins or mixed in with other beliefs that it can explain the things that aren’t true to our reality.”

Then The Canonical Character To The DC Universe, Jesus of Nazareth, shows up.
