i love the idea of tormenting my faves and one of my fave things to think about is being all curled up on bed for the night with bucky, its been a long day for him and all he wants to do is finally get some rest with the love of his life. hes only in a pair of boxers and laying on his back so you can be comfortably snuggled up against his side with your pretty little head on his bare chest. he's got one arm wrapped around your soft waist and is already half asleep despite the quiet audio coming from your phone, which you have been playing on for the past half hour.

mindlessly scrolling videos with your phone resting on the opposite side of buckys chest from where youre comfortable is one of your favorite ways to get ready for bed. honestly he doesn't mind either, he likes when you show him something you think is funny or cute, and you always keep the audio and brightest low enough that you can still see/hear but not so much that it hinders bucky from sleeping, and he adores the little giggles you try to hide to not disturb him. that being said, he knows its not good for you to be on your phone so much before sleeping and always makes sure youre off it by 10. its not quite the time that you two would usually shut everything down and sleep, but bucky can feel his consciousness slipping away far faster than normal.

you must not have noticed your lover already being half asleep because you dont hesitate to tilt your phone so the older man can see, and not very quietly ask, "Bucky, which one of these medieval inspired kitchens would you let me give you backshots on?"

silence, bucky doesnt even open his eyes, you think maybe he has fallen asleep before,

"Doll, please go to sleep."

I just think for the next cultural festival they should do a cross dressing cafe (zero chance but a man can dream) and obviously all the guys in Natsume's class are uncomfortable or very forcibly pretending they're not while the girls all laugh and adjust their suits and help each other out with their masc make-up.

All the boys except Natsume that is. He's wearing the wig and skirt like it's a Tuesday. How many times have the yokai assumed he was Reiko? How many times has he had to crossdress because of a yokai event? He's got the wig on and zero fucks and smiles at Nishimura who's wringing his hand over the outfit. (Kitamoto looks less uncomfortable but he's constantly adjusting his skirt so you know he's not)

And Nishimura is on the ground. Clutching his chest. One hit KO. Kitamoto even has a little blush. The girls look over and squeal. Sorry Natsume you're definitely on front door duty now. He does not understand what just happened.

Taki acts like he's an adorable kitty cat when she sees him. Tanuma blinks and then acts like it's a Tuesday. This does not dispell the weird rumors starting to pick up.

Natsume sighs and let's Tanuma know that he just hopes no Yokai gets extra confused and thinks he's Reiko for real. Most of the yokai in the local area know but still...

And if the class had a shrewd marketing person they'd sell pictures of the event and make bank on how many Natsume(fem) photos they sold. Nishimura would buy one of the three of them (you two should too! Kitamoto: no. Natsume: ... Okay. Kitamoto with a heavy sigh: fine.) and have to banish it into a desk drawer cause it kept making his chest feel weird whenever he looked at it for some reason.

Lucanis' "your voice is a comfort" paired with a Rook who can sing well

Just imagining Emmrich and Rook coming together to play in the music room, Emmrich on piano, Rook singing, each taking turns choosing songs and Lucanis is there lingering behind the door just closing his eyes and listening in. Sometimes, when he knows the song, he'll hum along

He learns that Rook likes love songs, usually involving lyrics indicating yearning or longing for someone you can't have or who doesn't look at you the way you look at them. Spite loves to point out the irony there.

One time he stood a little too close to the door and it opens automatically, interrupting Rook and Emmrich's session. They ask if he wants to join in, and he says no, but when Rook insists he stays, he can't bring himself to disappoint them. He hums along, but doesn't go too far besides that.

After Rook and Emmrich have finished playing, Lucanis brings up that he played piano when he was younger, but because of his work and the Ossuary, he hasn't gotten much practice and isn't as good as he was, so they volunteer to help him practice.

Next thing Lucanis knows every Thursday and Friday, him, Rook, and Emmrich are all in the music room practicing while Lucanis tries to explain his moments of distraction when Rook's hand lingers on the piano or they get so into a song that their voice is the only thing Lucanis can focus on, making him miss a note

Eventually the more Rook and Lucanis flirt and the closer they grow, the more in tune they get, in and out of practice. Emmrich knows he's becoming the third wheel so he mentions he's a bit busy today but oh you and Rook can still play together, don't worry about me! So it's just Lucanis and Rook alone together playing love songs. Everyone is genuinely surprised they aren't hearing thumping sounds coming from the music room yet.

Once they finally get together, cooking and playing (and murder) are two of the major activities they do as unofficial dates. They still play with Emmrich sometimes though, not wanting him to feel left out from something he started.

When Rook is in the Regret Prison, Lucanis tries to play, tries to close his eyes and remember their voice in the songs they practiced together. Those love songs about longing or missing someone start hitting a little too close to home though.

Rook comes back and they're lying on that chaise together, Lucanis trying not to fall asleep and Rook teasing him. He mentions that their voice is a comfort, so they start to hum. Lucanis hums with them, taking their hand in his own and lightly caressing it with his thumb, occasionally kissing it. They stay like that till Lucanis finally falls asleep in Rook's arms, truly at peace for one of the first times in his life.

one thing i never realized bc i always either pair chrom with olivia or make him gay is that not every sibling calls lucina “luce” and its making me crazy. inigo and brady call her “luce” for short. cynthia calls her “lucy” (MY FAV), and kjelle and morgan just call her “lucina.” why did they make this change across supports. “to add personality” you say and to that i say YES obviously but also. potential of telling us more about how close lucina was with each potential sibling? maybe. what im getting at here is chrom!kjelle and lucina maybe suffering the most in terms of feelings of inadequacy and having that slight strain that keeps them from being close. this does not apply to morgan bc i chalk his up to memory loss BUT. you could also say that lucina never let him get close because she’s wary of him. hows that. and if you read closely what im actually saying is that i need an au where all six of them are siblings and not all of them have the brand of the exalt

ive been thinking about this but. i think shuro understands laios' character pretty well, but he doesn't value his strengths or interests (monster knowledge). in the DVD extra where laios imagines what would have happened if they'd been on better terms, shuro STILL leaves because he thinks his chances are better with a trained crew (which....... is likely to be true but. look at how he ended up anyway lmao). meanwhile kabru recognises that while the party isnt particularly strong, the reason they get so far in the first place is BECAUSE of what laios knows about monsters. shuro seems aware that laios knows about monsters or has an interest in them, but views this as frivolous and a waste of time and doesn't seem to realise how much this knowledge carried them in the first place
