There was one day I was out alone to buy groceries and saw a lesbian couple kissing and I was like "wow they are gay too!!!" (I identified as pan at the time) and here is my reaction on the day:
"Help, I just saw a lesbian couple kiss in the supermarket and D4MN I just looked and smiled awkwardly, I was just so π³βππ³βππ³βππ³βπ#RELASIONSHIPGOALS like they were just shopping and boom kiss like a hahahahahahhahahaπ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βππ³βπβ€β€β€β€β€β€"
It was the first time I saw someone on the LGBTQIA+ community in the wild
Something that I have noticed is I know almost nobody my age that goes to a food pantry. I know people who regularly run out of money for food and in general have to eat an unsuitable diet because thatβs what they can afford and they still donβt go to a food bank, im not sure if itβs because theyβre embarrassed or maybe if you didnβt grow up going you donβt know much about it but if youβre financially struggling I really recommend it. And look into other options for food assistance too like community fridges and gardens and other programs that can assist you, where I live Salvation Army pays for an allotted amount of grocery delivery for low income people every month, in the summer farmers take excess produce to the library to be taken by anyone who needs it, etc. There are a LOT of resources for free food that you can look into especially if you are literally not eating because of your financial situation
