Real life

Moving to Monaco had always been your dream. Living in the beautiful country right on the water, starting a new life in such a peaceful place and being able to follow your dreams.

It had been your dream ever since you were a little girl.

However, moving to Monaco was in itself very pricey. It hadn’t been easy, gathering the money you needed to lead a relatively comfortable lifestyle in the exclusivist country, but you had managed to do so.

And now, you now had to step up a bit until things got going for you.

And you figured that working at the local coffee shop was the best solution. At least just until you got settled in your new home country and your career kicked in.

You knew that Monaco was the home to a lot of athletes, especially Formula 1 drivers, but you didn't really expect to meet any of them. Monaco was not really as small of a place as people thought, you wouldn't just run into an F1 driver in the street that casually.

No, you run into them at coffee shops.

You had been minding your own business one day, thankful that it was still early and people were not yet coming for coffee. But then the entrance bell rang, and your eyes met the most beautiful man you had ever laid eyes on.

The one and only, Lando Norris.

You didn't want to seem like an obsessed fan, so you tried to keep your excitement at bay the best you could.

"Hello" he greeted when he approached the counter, that famous smirk adorning his features.

"Hi. What can I get you?" you asked sweetly, praying to God that he wouldn't notice the furious blush on your cheeks.

"I'll just have a cappuccino, love" he asked, giving you a dazzling smile.

You blushed even more and nodded, getting to work on his drink.

He didn't say anything else for a second, he just watched and admired your movements as you effortlessly prepared his coffee.

"I haven't seen you around here before, and trust me. I would have remembered a face as beautiful as yours" Lando suddenly asked, leaning forward against the counter.

You almost did a double take, not wanting to get your hopes up. Was he actually flirting with you? Were you just dreaming?

You cleared your throat before you answered, which made Lando smile even more cockily.

"I just moved here a couple of days ago, got a job with a modelling agency and figured I would work for some extra money until the modelling gigs kick in" you explained, looking at his from the corner of your eye to see his wide eyes when you mentioned being a model.

"With a face as beautiful as yours, figured you were a model of some sort. Nobody would pass on someone as pretty as you"

You blushed again, thankful that the shop was almost empty and people couldn't see you falling apart just from talking to the man.

"Do you flirt with every barista you meet, Mr. Norris?" you teased, pouring the drink into a to-go cup.

"Just the insanely pretty ones"

You chuckled and shook your head, taking the sharpie in your hand to write his name on the cup. As soon as you wrote his name, your hand moved on its own, scribbling your phone number underneath and the message 'call me <3' next to it.

Biting your lip, you gave him the drink with a smile, biding your goodbyes.

"I'll see you around, Y/N" he said, looking at your name tag.

"Okay" was all you could say, your mind too fuzzy to come up with a better response.

He turned around just before he exited the cafe, winking at you before departing.

What the hell had just happened?

Much to your disappointment, a couple of days had gone by without a single text from the driver.

You hadn't thought much of it, way too busy with unpacking and such to even think about your encounter. It was our friend who kept asking you about it, going out of her mind when you mentioned you had given your number to an F1 driver.

"Y/N, come here, you left me all alone" Samantha, your friend, called out for you from the living room.

You sighed, unwillingly getting out of your very comfortable position on your bed and walked into the living room.

Not even paying attention to what Samantha was doing, you fell on the couch face first, your sore limbs tired from the short walk from the bedroom to the living room.

"I was very comfortable in bed, thank you very much" you mumbled, but Samantha paid you no mind.

She knew how grumpy you got in the evenings, so she had learned to ignore your comments in such instances.

"Has he texted you yet?" she asked, making you glare at her.

"I don't know how many times you've already asked me that and how many times I've given you the exact same answer. No, he hasn't" you grumbled, hiding your face in your pillow.

Samantha hummed, casting a sneaky glance to her phone.

"But like what exactly happened?" she pressed, making you sigh.

"It's not that interesting of a story. He came in the coffee shop, ordered a drink, we flirted a little and then I wrote my number on his cup" you explained once again, and unbeknownst to you, your fans were going wild over the information they had just heard.

Samantha almost wanted to laugh when she saw the dozens of comments flooding in, calling Lando the "mysterious café boy" that hadn't texted you.

"If I were him, I would have texted you the minute I walked out" she defended, making you sigh.

"But you're not him. There are numerous reasons that could explain why he hasn't texted me, he's a busy guy, Samantha" you defended, getting up from the couch to head back to your bedroom, so done with the conversation.

Samantha waited until the door was closed before switching her attention back to her phone.

"And there you go, ladies and gentlemen. Our girl is finally finding love" she giggled, clapping her hands.

If only Lando would have the courage to make the first step.

You had always been a fan of Formula 1, you got that from your father. He would always bring you with him to races when you were younger, and his love and admiration was passed onto you from a very young age.

However, you hadn't attended a race in a while, you hadn't had the opportunity or the time to go to one.

Until now.

McLaren had contacted you a couple of days before the Silverstone Grand Prix, inviting you as their VIP guest for the weekend. And who were you to refuse a weekend with the team of the guy you were crushing on?

That's how you found yourself walking towards the McLaren hospitality, bag clutched tightly in your hand as you approached the brightly papaya colored building.

Sighing with a smile on your face, you had just put your hand on the handle when the door opened from the inside and Lando stepped out, stopping in his tracks when he saw you in front of him.

The both of you froze, not knowing how to react. The first one to break the tension was Lando, who smiled at you widely.

"Hey, Y/N. Long time no see" he said, making you chuckle and nod.

"Yeah"

He nodded, and silence settled for a split second between the two of you before he spoke up.

"Look, I'm sorry I didn't text you. I saw your number, even saved it in my phone and was meaning to say something. I was just too nervous to screw things up, cause I really like you" he confessed, making your heartbeat quicken significantly.

Your eyes widened, and relief finally settled into your troubled mind. There had been so many thoughts and theories in your head about why he hadn't contacted you. Maybe you had misread the situation, maybe he wasn't interested, maybe he didn't see your number written next to his name, countless possibilities had been swirling around in your head.

But now, you were finally content. He was just nervous, bless his heart. If you were being fair, you would have been way too nervous to contact him if the roles had been reversed.

"Don't worry, it's okay" you reassured him, which made Lando feel better.

"I want to make it up to you. How about dinner tonight? My treat, I'll show you around the city" he suggested, his eyes full of hope.

You couldn't possibly deny him, so you found yourself nodding.

"Great" he smiled and leaned in to plant a kiss on your cheek before departing towards the garage.

You bit your lip, trying to suppress a smile.

He hadn't forgotten you after all.

Hi, if the asks for AEIWAM are still open, can you share some more regarding the 12th division transitioning to taking over R&D, thanks to Urahara? Did the other divisions take it well, were there fights over boundaries/responsibilities/secrets? Individual divisions holding onto research directly relating to their remits? And how did Mayuri taking over from Urahara impact relations with other divisions?

Urahara proposing a dedicated research and development branch was not a particularly unexpected move, and a wildly applauded one.

His predecessor, now-Royal-Guard Hikifune, had done extensive research and development on her own when she developed both the modern Gikon and the Mod Souls like Kon. The 4th was massively overworked but still doing their own medical research. The Kido corps had been doing their own R&D writ: spells for ages. The 7th division had been tracking death and soul statistics like where souls reincarnated in the Rukongai and who went to hell and why for centuries. "Science" is a very strong word for what the 11th was doing re: destruction, but by golly they were doing a lot of it.

So Urahara's idea to develop a cross-division group dedicated to connecting existing research and developing new lines of inquiry from there was an extremely logical step and one pretty much everyone regarded as a good move.

Everyone, except Aizen.

See, Aizen had been doing his own little experiments with creating and perfecting the Hogyoku and those experiments involved a shitload of murder and other crimes, not to mention the whole treason thing, and Aizen was worried that if Kisuke managed to say, actually collate and look over the Rukongai crime stats Aizen had been hiding or read up on the Kido corps work, he might be JUST smart enough to figure out what Aizen was up to.

So Aizen made sure that when they got caught, that the experiments he'd been running would look like Kisuke's work :)

I think Aizen also had a significant hand in making sure it was the literal clown Mayuri who got the job after Urahara fled. There were definitely better candidates to become the Gotei-13's quartermain, but I think Aizen either discouraged them, or figured out how to make Mayuri look way more sane than he actually was to the other captains when the vote came.

Mayuri was a disaster for R&D. Not only were his scientific methods dubious at best, none one the other divisions trusted him with their work, and all of them became a lot more secretive and paranoid.

The 4th resumed it's own medical research, which was slow because of all the other work the 4th needed to do as well. The 7th kept its statistics under lock and key lest Mayuri get funny ideas about killing people to measure things faster. This new cloaked way of doing business allowed Mayuri to engage in horrors that actively got in the way of progress. Like recruiting the top 10% of the academy's graduating class for his division and then using them as guinea pigs and/or explosives.

In AEIWAM, not all hope was lost.

Before he was a shinigami, Kaname Tousen was a Librarian.

It was all he ever really wanted to be- when he came to the seireitei it was entirely to investigate his sister's death. He had no intention of enrolling in the academy, or pursuing rank.

Aizen has a way of derailing people's lives.

By force, when necessary.

By pounding 44 magical nails into Tousen's spine and carving command kanji into his shoulders and inflicting a vile curse on him to force Kaname into being his co-conspirator, his own personal R&D, and his entertaining puppet, if necessary.

Well,

Maybe Aizen is having a little bit more fun than strictly "necessary".

Aizen might have cursed Tousen into silence and obedience, but he can't stop Tousen from keeping his own records. Meticulous notes about every excursion he is made to take, every crime he is forced to commit, every horrific act Tousen does through tears- everything is recorded, documented, and safely stored in triplicate in several locations and formats.

In fact, Aizen comes to rely on those records- Aizen is very good at Lying and Kido and Hubris but that is the extent of his intellectual prowess. He relies on Gin to keep track of what everyone else is doing, and on Tousen to do all the scheduling, lab work, provisions and actually keeping the aarancar in line.

And Kaname takes advantage to press the curse whenever he can- he was close, he was so. Fucking. Close! To getting the whole scheme exposed during Turn Back The Pendulum.

He tried. He tried and tried to say it when Yamamoto interrogated him, to confess his sins and bring Gin and Aizen down with him, to make himself understood.

-Who did this? Who killed captain Hirako?

-I know them! I know, but I can not say!

It's all Kaname can manage before the curse retaliates, and almost strangles him to death to keep his silence, invisible to Yamamoto because of Aizen's illusions.

...after the nature of the curse is revealed, Yamamoto listens to the recording of that interrogation and weeps. The captains are the closest thing he has to children. Yamamoto hears this man who is almost his son, screaming, begging him to understand -

Not "I don't know"

Not "I will not say"

"I know, but I can not say."

So Kaname bides his time, keeps his records and tries to distract himself form his situation by drawing what conclusions he can.

After the Winter War, there is some debate as to what's going to happen to R&D.

Mayuri is in a jar, battling for control of his body.

Nemu refuses to admit he's out of action. Akon refuses to be promoted.

Kisuke or whoever does run the 12 will be too busy shovelling leftover war crimes out of the basement to actually run R&D.

Yamamoto has a long-standing agreement with Unohana that if he makes her take on One More Thing, he will not get the privilege of dying.

Ukitake is running the Kido corps, but he's also already got a foot in the grave.

Yamanoto isn't sure he can trust anyone else with lab equipment.

" ...Tousen." he says, nonchalant, visiting him in the hospital. "You seem to be rather accomplished at record-keeping and lab work."

"Last time you promoted me while I was in the hospital after a catastrophe, it extended my recovery by a solid five years and lead to an even greater one. No. Tell Kisuke to buck up and run R&D, it was his damn idea in the first place."

"Yes, obviously." Yamanoto says as though he had been planning that at all. "-but the court guard still needs to be supplied, so if Kisuke is running R&D, who is running the 12th?

"Muguruma."

"Pardon?"

"Kensei Muguruma might be the second-worst boss I've ever had but he is rigorously punctual, has an incredible work ethic, and can be trusted to stick to rules and regulations to the letter. He's a rigid, grouchy, hard ass, and a terrible match for the ninth, but he'd make an excellent quartermain." Kaname sighs.

Yamamoto ponders that for a bit.

"Also, he's running the newspaper over my dead body." Kaname elaborates. "He's contracted horoscope brainrot from Mashiro, I'm afraid."

"He may attempt to dispute that he should be running the Ninth as his prior demotion was unlawful, as is his right." Yamamoto nods. "It would be resolved by some kind of combat."

"I've gutted him once, I'll do it again." Kaname grunts and Yamamoto barks a laugh.

"I believe your judgement is sound, and will abide by your recommendation." Yamamoto nods, patting Kaname's hand. "I will inform Urahara and Muguruma of their new responsibilities."

"...Thank you, sir." Kaname mumbles, listening to Yamamoto open his notebook and write something down. "For your trust in me, and not promoting me again."

"Hm." Yamamoto nods.

At first he was a little busy himself, so he actually hadn't realized just how much you're committing to your project.

He was already slowly planning something for your anniversary, so it only added to things he had to do, but he was done with majority of his tasks in no time.

So on the day of your anniversary you were late. Really late. After waiting for you he decided to pay you a visit. Everything was a mess, but he only paid attention to you.

It was obvious you haven't slept at all. Or at least not even close to what's healthy.

He could only sigh at the sight but it was time to take care of you. No deadline or date is more important than your health.

He carried you back to your bed, and when you laid down you only then realized that you missed your date.

Honestly the fact that you had the energy to be worried and think about it now was a cute...

As he sat by your bed, you sat up to give him a little kiss. As a way to apologize. It was short as it was clear you had little energy to even sit. So it only further confirmed what he thought of the situation.

For now he needed you to rest up. There was no need to worry so much about the date. You can go out someday later.

He understood that being part of a research was important to you, but he thought it was foolish of you to just let it take over your health to the point where you almost collapsed.

So the best way to apologize is to not let it happen again. Or at the very least rest up now.

In the meantime he took care of the mess you let your working space get to. Of course he didn't touch any papers in case he'd mess up the order of your work.

Alhaitham

Although he doesn't care much for special days, he does keep track of them. Even if to just give you his wishes.

But he recognized that an anniversary might be a little more special to you. So although he doesn't see the appeal in it being a necessity, he wanted to spend time with you regardless.

He knew about your project, and knew about your investment in it to some extent.

So he made the plans flexible, he figured it'd be best to prepare something you could enjoy at any moment just in case your schedule was full for the day of your anniversary- which I'll say again- He wouldn't care much about missing.

So when he went to you to present the idea, he saw in what state you put yourself in.

Honestly? He didn't know what he expected really. He felt mix of disappointment and worry when he saw how you were handling yourself.

To help you, he first had to take you to rest. When you'd make up for your lost sleep, he'd help you with your work schedule.

Because no matter how you try to explain yourself you weren't going a good job at either.

When he helped you get to your bed, you kissed and thanked him. The kiss was short, but welcome either way.

Honestly he didn't realize just how much he missed affection from you. As much as he isn't needy it did got him to think that perhaps for a couple you aren't spending enough time?

Next day when you woke up, you glanced at the calendar and noticed that you missed your anniversary.

You immediately wanted to go look for him to apologize. But you didn't even have to leave your home, as he decided to stay overnight.

Since you were awake now though, it was time to get to work. He cared about you so it was now time to find you a healthy routine of studying and researching that worked for you.

Your date could end up as a celebration of a job well done.

Hello there! So, remember that 1 off TFP x FNAF story you wrote? I had a... 'fun'... concept for you, if you'd like...

After the whole ordeal with the FNAF games... Miko gets the bright idea to show the bots some fantheories, animatics, etc. After everyone who was willing (*ehmm* dragged into the room *ehmm*) watched the videos... Miko then shows them Glitchtrap/Malhare. And the VR game concept (that GT could escape the game). Miko pulls out 2 very specific articles. The first is about the real Springbonnie/Glitchtrap guy. The second is about the handprints and Chuck E Cheese murders.

Everyone is horrified. Prime probably would become very protective when he learns that Chuck E Cheese is still in business. Bonus when they all learn that the kids have probably been there before. (I mean, what American Child hasn't been to Chuck E Cheese at least once. Y'know it would've been a bucket list item for Miko too. Especially with the whole murder thing.)

Idk. Do you like the concept? I figured it would be kinda fun to explore more on.

(Also, somebody better introduce Jackie to the "More TNT" Mod in Minecraft. Get this boi limitless TNT explosions. It's a Healthy Outlit for his explosive nature.)

I personally do not know FNAF or any of the other popular video games enough to make much of a comment on these sorts of things. My reaction to FNAF writing was a one off thing that I only did because I live off YouTube theories in between classes. I think this is a fabulous idea to explore, but I personally cannot write it.

If anyone else wants to, then by all means go for it. But I am afraid I cannot write anything for this.

Still Alive

I haven't posted in ages because I've been blue and no one likes a whiner. I've spent my entire life being a cheerleader for others, encouraging, lifting, and seeking silver linings - but I seem unable to do that for myself. So, I apologize for the lack of blog posts, but they wouldn't have been fun anyway.

When I need a lift I usually turn to gardening or art. Gardening here has been one disappointment after another. I'm used to planning and executing beautiful floral landscapes, doesn't seem to matter what I do here - I get diddly squat. Interesting enough, I don't see any other yards with a bounty of flowers or pretty spaces, lots of Knockout Roses but that's about it. Remember the German Pink tomato plant that I brought back from Lancaster? It's incredibly healthy and over 6 feet tall. It's been producing yellow blossoms since May without a single fruit. But look what I spied this week....finally!

Three tiny tomatoes on the eve of September. What the hell? If I'm very, very lucky and I don't make eye contact with them or say something stupid like, "I can't wait to taste a fresh tomato", I might get to pick them. I'm not holding my breath. The pumpkins have been blooming like crazy, not a fruit in sight. Without baby pumpkins by September 1st, there will be no Halloween pumpkins. Just another disappointment. I did everything I was supposed to do. I babied them, tried hand pollinating (I have yet to see a female bloom so I guess I was hoping for a same sex miracle), gave them expensive fertilizer - nothing worked. I truly think our biggest problem here is a lack of pollinators. It's very rare to see a bee, and I actually make a note in my journal when a hummingbird appears because it's also rare. I don't see moths or even beetles. Side note: I don't miss those @#$%!& Japanese Beetles. I don't know if what the farmers spray just kills everything in the area, or if there's more that I can do to attract those helpers. Guess I'll research it this winter, ever hopeful. Since gardening has not been uplifting, there's always art. I decided to try my hand at working with air dry clay. I saw some fun projects online and thought I'd give it a whirl. My plan was to make some ghosts that I could put a little tea light under. The first step was to build some sort of frame that the clay could drape over to be shaped and then to dry. I used a bottle of paint and a ball of aluminum foil. As always, my surly assistant was judging me.

That particular ghost started to crack while he dried. I think his bottom half was too heavy. I tried to just turn the crack into a smile, but it didn't work. I tried a second one with a simpler bottom, but had the same result.

I obviously need to read some tips and figure this out. Instead I grabbed a log of polymer clay from my stash and decided I'd just bake myself a ghost. That's when I had to figure out how to make a frame for him that could be baked. I found a little bud vase and some more foil, and it worked! This is him after being removed from the oven.

I gave him a quick coat of paint because the polymer clay was a translucent sort, not white. Then I grabbed this tissue paper...

and cut out some candy corn. With a little Mod Podge we have ourselves a Halloween ghost!

Okay, he's far from perfect, but after two failures I was tickled to have a whole ghost. Don't judge me.

Yesterday morning I decided to try making another ghost with the air dry clay, but not one that is hollow inside. Just a little ghost statue that I can paint. I was busy shaping him, my head full of ideas, and started making pumpkins on either side of him. Bad idea, it looked like a penis. I removed all but one small pumpkin and he is currently drying and waiting for my paintbrush.

Don't judge it just yet. It will be smoothed and shaped a little more. I also want him to look a little droopy because my plan is to paint him to look like a patchwork quilt. There's a children's book somewhere in that, right? A little ghost who wants to go haunting but all of the white sheets are taken, so he swoops under a quilt on the bed and because he's so cute and colorful no one is scared of him - Patch, the Ghost Who Couldn't Spook. Obviously, I have too much time on my hands. I've still got plenty of clay left, so maybe I'll make a pumpkin or two. I've got some autumn themed paper napkins that I could Mod Podge onto them. That might be cute to set on a window sill or even on my little porch table. Can you tell I'm ready for fall? Can't get here fast enough. I made this to post on September 1st, but why wait?

I've seen a couple of articles saying that fall will be delayed this year because temps are expected to stay warm into October. I might kill someone if that happens. We have a trip in October, perhaps France will have better weather? I hope I come home to freeze warnings.

Another reason I'm looking forward to autumn is that I am cautiously hopeful.

It's so refreshing to see decency and joy making a comeback. I'm afraid to trust it. I put our sign close to the front porch so the Ring doorbell can monitor it. This town is filled with big Trump signs, even a banner at the "Christian" gift shop on the main street. We're outnumbered here, but not scared. Don't even think of mentioning the pitiful state of the flower bed. In more good news, the cutest grandgirl in the world has started first grade. She's loving it, and on day two she lost her wiggly front tooth. I think the snaggle-toothed stage is so cute. She certainly enjoys visits from the tooth fairy. Since I can't share pictures of her sweet face, I'll share her back-to-school sign that she held for first day photos.

She wants to be part of the Wild Kratt team when she grows up. If you're unfamiliar with Wild Kratts, think of a cooler, hipper Marlin Perkins (times 2, because it's the Kratt brothers). Any other boomers out there that loved Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom?

That's where I learned that elephants can't jump. Still waiting for that to come up on Jeopardy. Anyway, I'm glad she's an animal lover. I don't trust people who don't like animals. That's enough from me for now. I needed to get something posted so the kind folks who thought I'd kicked the bucket don't need to look for my obituary. OH! That reminds me. I had a dream a few nights ago and couldn't wait to tell my sister about it. Preface: Since it's a mystery what happens to us after we die (you can claim to know, but you don't know) I'm always curious about what others think. Mickey and I had been discussing what we hope will happen, so that's probably what prompted my dream. Anywayyyyy, in my dream I was in a hospital bed and Mickey was standing beside it. Side note: my hair was dark and I looked younger, so I guess I died a while ago. Mickey was saying those awful things that people say to the dying, like, "You can go now" and "It's okay for you to go..." I would probably wake up from a coma just to let him know that I don't need his permission. But in this dream I took a deep breath and then burst into a cloud of pink glitter. The cloud swirled around and around and then flew out an open double window. This window opened onto the most beautiful landscape of rolling hills and flowers and cartoon bluebirds were flitting about, singing. I'm sure a psychologist would have a field day with that dream, but I found it oddly reassuring. I wouldn't mind it one bit if I turned into glitter and flew away on a breeze. There are certainly worse ways to go. Just my luck I'd end up as the glitter on a grade school art project or some dollar store party decorations. Still, at least I'd have a purpose. I'm still kind of in the camp that we have lessons to learn here and if we don't learn them the first time we have to come back and learn them the hard way - so be nice. Speaking of lessons, I probably needed to see this calendar page yesterday.

Okay, now I really am finished. It's 5 o'clock and my stomach is telling me that it's time to start dinner. I hope that wherever you are and whatever you're doing, it's bringing you joy. I've kind of made up my mind about what I'm gonna do for a while now, but I've simply been... too busy and overwhelmed to take the time to let you guys know. I'm not going to delete my tumblr, there's just. Too much here that I don't want to lose.

So far the game plan is: keep my tumblr. But do not upload anymore art or writing on it - not because it's gonna get scraped, because it was already getting scraped anyway, AI company deal or not. It's pretty much unavoidable at this point, unfortunately. I simply do not trust Tumblr with my data, if they're going to sell EVERYTHING, including private messages and such, so I'm not going to give it anything worthwhile to profit off of. Instead, I'm going to start uploading my art exclusively on Ao3, for now. I'll answer any asks I receive here on there too, as well. I'll figure some kind of system out. 🤔

The cool thing about uploading to Ao3 is that anyone subscribed to my profile or to the containment series I will make will get a notification anytime I upload something new. Having my art and writing in one place is likely going to be more convenient for you guys too, since you won't have to move across platforms to get the full experience. 😄It'll be different... but a platform getting too greedy for its own good won't stop me from finding ways to share my stories with y'all. I'll just find another solution.

(I've also been entertaining the idea of joining or making my own Discord server but. That one is a little more delicate. The idea of joining a server that has hundreds of members like a lot of this fandom's servers have, just. Makes me break into hives, lmao. (I am in the Ghost in the Machine fic server. I muted it an hour into joining, it was way too intense for me. |'D) That is way too many people, I simply cannot handle it. I'd be way more comfortable in a smaller group with a less rapid-fire rate of posting and conversation. I am also. Very picky about which servers I join, which makes asking for recommendations doubly awkward when I shoot them all down, haha... And making my own... Err, I can hardly keep up with a server I helped create for another fandom and mod for, I don't think I could handle two of them - I would need other people to handle the moderation for me, and I wouldn't trust just anyone to be a mod. I'd need to know them well enough to know I could trust them, and I... do not really know anyone in this fandom well enough to do that, sadly. I take server moderation very seriously, as someone who has had experience modding for forums back before social media was a thing. I do not know if that would make for a fun experience for everyone, and anyone who hasn't known that kind of supervised experience. It is comforting to me. It may be intimidating for others. So that's still a very hand-wavy, 'eehhhh' kind of thing still.)

All of this to say, that this isn't the last you'll see from me, far from it. I'll restrict my creative output to Ao3 for the foreseeable future, and I'll let you guys on here know when I make a new upload, so those of you who do not have an Ao3 account know when something new has happened.

Hello everyone! I wanted to share my accomplishments in 2023 before the year ends with a little bit of self reflection notes. You can enjoy everything in the read below.

Some fandoms highlighted include DGS, nintendo, and pokemon.

First off, this year has been hard for me. It's been a lot of self reflection and figuring my goals out after some became unattainable.

With that being said, I did accomplish a lot this year. I published my first recipe in a zine, finishing my first zine, improved my writing a lot, and picked up drawing once again. I also was able to get some actual help with some issues I have struggled with for years.

I want thank you all for your support. It means a lot that you enjoyed my artworks, writing, and ambition. Now here are my highlights for each month.

January: Foxtrot - An Asoryuu kitsune AU. One of the stories I took in when I was at my lowest last year and sparked a lot of my interest to keep writing. Plus Kitsune Kazuma.

February: Encore - A hassius story about motivation and being patient about the creation process. Though this was more or less my thoughts on this topic in general, this story literally inspired me to take my own advice and pick up drawing again.

March: The Memories that Lie - This was one I actually finished, but am glad I did. It's an asoryuu vampire story I was actually planning on scrapping, but ended up finishing anyway out of sheer stubbornness. To finish it, it took me completely restarting five chapters, but it came out a lot better than the original draft had mapped out.

April: This is when I took my hiatus and started to draw again in my free time. I was worn out, stressed, and collapsing under the pressure. This was my first piece that I posted.

May: Was a huge month for me. I launched the @blossominglovezine that you can enjoy here and published my first recipe in The Grand Adventure to Make the Perfect Cake for the @tgaacspringzine

June: I made my first icon! I was really busy this month planning for the trip of my dreams and doing some irl side work that ended up being permanent employment.

July: So I went to Las Vegas for a foodie tour. When I had a moment, I decided to draw the lovely Unicorn Goddess outfit.

August: This is when I did the Timmverse art study. This month was more of finishing up some logistics of zine work and getting a story out in the wild.

September: Goes to the Princess Peach Showtime piece I did! This piece really cemented my current style. And yes, I keep calling it Princess Peach Spotlight. Also wanted to mention I helped successfully launch the @dgscrimezine

October: Goes to my OC piece. CW for blood, but this piece was made for Halloween and the shading was really on point. I love this design for this OC.

November: I'm going with the fact I completed a ship week, asoryuu week. I got everything done at a reasonable time and was able to create so many fun pieces. 1 2 3 4 5 7. I had to skip day 6 because I ended up having an emergency. I also started pre-orders for my first for purchase zine, @desire-asoryuu-zine. This is still in pre-orders, so I wasn't sure if I was going to add it, but this is a big accomplishment for me.

December: I actually haven't been able to do much this month due to the holidays and getting distracted by Pokemon DLC, but I did draw this super cute Yuma!

Other highlights do include being accepted to multiple zine projects as a mod and contributor, which has been very exciting for me. You can check out that list here.

This upcoming year, I'll be helping with more projects and the @aawlwminibang events! I really want to do a personal project that I've been building up my skills for before pursuing, but now I think I'll be able to handle it. I won't announce it yet since it's still very much in development, but I hope I can in 2024.

The hatched QSMP eggs are done! I really want to figure out what mod lets the admins look like eggs and try and add these guys as a side-mod. I'd need to figure out how to animated them though.

I did my best to make each kid look unique and also a bit like their parents, so I'll add my reasoning below the cut!

First off, all the kids (except for Tilín, JuanaFlippa, and Trump) have their main body color based off the colored signs they use. I tried to incorporate any of the kid's favorite colors as well. Also when I mention clothing i simply mean that's how the markings look on the dragons.

Bobby only used light blue signs once, but I still used that as his man body color. His armbands are from Roier and his pink wings / fading to pink tail are from Jaiden. both of their skins have black eyes so Bobby does as well.

Chayanne's diamond wing markings and face markings are from Phil, and so are his green spikes/ fading to green tail. His boots and armbands are from Missa. His wika page says that "his eyes are the same color as enchanted slime armor" so I did my best to match that.

Dapper is obviously based solely off of Bad, and is only one of three to have non-white sclera since I felt like it fit with his vibe.

JuanaFlippa has no sign color, so I made her green since none of the others are (and I feel like that would have been her sign color anyways). The dark splotches on her head and arm are from Slime's skin, as well as the red markings on her chest. the fading to yellow tail / spikes/ and boots and gloves are from Mariana. Both Slime and Mariana's skins have brown eyes so Flippa does as well (even though you can't really see them behind the glasses).

Leonarda's favorite color is purple and she's the first one to get a colored sign! Just wanted to mention that. The dark parts of her skin are from the shark part of Foolish's skin, as well as her green eyes. the gold on her arms/legs are from Vegetta and the gold spikes are from both. Her fading to blue tail is just because I thought it looked nice.

Pomme (and Richas) have more busy designs since I needed to incorporate aspects from five different people. The sad face on her back is from Antoine, her orange muzzle is from Baghera, her yellow shoes are from Aypierre, the symbol on her wings are from Etoiles, and her armbands are from Kameto. I gave her heterocromia opposite her face markings because.

Ramón is mostly based off of Fit (knee pads, brown wings/spikes/eyes/grey circle on his chest) but he does have faint lighter markings on his arms and his snout from Spreen. He has brown sclera because white blended into his body to much.

Richarlyson also had a very busy design. His goggle are from Cellbit, the marking on his back legs or from Forever, his armbands are from Felps, the markings on his wings are from Pac, and his boots are from Mike. his fading to green tail is because several of his fathers have green in their original skins (also it looked good). Also his back left leg is the one i think is his bad leg, so I made it a prosthetic.

Tallulah is based solely off Wilbur, and for her I decided to do gradients to yellow since it looked like a sunrise almost and she is everyone's ray of sun! Also her favorite color is purple so that's why she has purple eyes.

Tilín is based solely off Quackity, but I decided to have her split down the middle since Quackity's original story for his character was the he was split into two people. Her favorite colors are pink and blue, so her body is pink and her eyes are blue.

Trump's files are called 'Trumpet' since I didn't want to leave my progress open and my roommate to see a file just called 'Trump' (Why did they name him that. why). He also never got a colored sign, but orange fit for.... reasons. His knee/elbow guards are from Dan, and the markings on his sides are from the words on Maximus' skin.

We've been doing MewTube for about 3 years now, and married for 5! We work for an organization called The New Epoch Foundation as, you guessed it, paleontologists! The goal of the organization is to help further scientific research and runs mostly on donations! I might also end up as their head of social media because of the stuff we do on MewTube, we'll just have to see!

Of course, we can't forget about Baby Helix, we had them about a year ago and we love them so so much. We don't really post pictures of them, but maybe in the future? We aren't like. A family vlogging channel anyways (chills). We'll both sign off our posts!

Typically I try to just go "yes and" to stuff, it's more fun to me that way and adds a layer of unpredictability to my stories- BUT- please DM me if you want to do BIG plot stuff (I don't bite!)

It works for trees too! Be sure you're replacing the debug tree and not the Lot tree (i made this mistake initially too lol). There's a checkbox near the search bar in S4S to filter debug items. The tree names you're looking for are "treeGD_cherry_01" and "treeGD_cherry_02"

Some objects are tricky though. I still can't for the life of me find the concrete posts next to the canal where Eliza and Bob live 😭 if someone knows where they're hiding pls lmk

As for the placement of items, it isn't exclusive to CAW at all! The CAW mod right now just adds new features (like a preset tool), hidden debug items, and a much more intuitive interface (you can move objects around the world with WASD instead of clicking, for example). But everything I'm doing can definitely be achieved with TOOL! In fact I was planning on using TOOL only until the CAW mod was updated recently to work in existing save files.

The only problem you encounter with TOOL is that some areas in the world, like roads, aren't clickable, which means you end up fiddling around with XY coordinates and struggling to see past your current lot. To solve this I made a little mod to expand the clickable area. It's not my idea, a creator named Alexcroft came up with it, but his version no longer worked (and was only for Brindleton Bay and Sulani I believe) so I edited the BG files myself

I'll be uploading the mod with my save file of course (so off-lot areas will still be clickable/completely accessible) but if you want it now just send me another ask! (I don't want it buried in this long post lol) The only problem I've noticed so far is sims route a lot more 'freely', meaning they'll stray from the sidewalk and walk/bike in the middle of roads. I haven't gotten any glitches or last exceptions yet though, so I'm willing to share!

Definitely! TwistedMexi is amazing, there's going to be an exporter for completed worlds as well as an official exchange to download them. You can read all about CAW here. As of now Crest Harbor is only a save file and not a proper custom world, but I'll be exporting it the instant CAW is finished.

I have been thinking about the townies/lore, and I've decided to go for a very small town, quiet drama, everyone-knows-everyone-else's-business vibe. It's one of the things I love about the insular worlds of TS3. For one of the big expensive Victorians I'm going to build, I've decided to make a 'perfect' and very wealthy family. except the kids are rebellious kleptomaniacs, the politician dad is actually in the criminal career with a basement bunker and listening device, and the serial romantic, yoga instructor soccer mom is having a torrid affair with half the people in her class

Of course not every family will be like this lol, but you get the idea. I know people like to have their own sims (rightly so!) but I do want a lively backdrop for them to live against :)

I know! I've figured out how to change the icon itself, I just can't figure out how to make the files reference *only* my copied world instead of Willow Creek too. They have identical icons right now and it's kind of jarring. Probably something I'm missing. If all else fails I'll probably just replace Willow Creek altogether. She's had 9 years anyway her time is up

very pleased i've got you a t a l k i n' :) The CAW is in alpha right now, but lot editing is coming! TwistedMexi has a proof of concept showing that it's possible, he just hasn't implemented it yet. The difficulty I think is in making it user-friendly. All the lots in my save file are the same size as Willow Creek's though, since it's just a copy of that world. You can *technically* edit lot sizes by editing the game files but it's glitchy and I know I'd just break my game messing around with it

1. When have they been unable to save someone or something no matter how much they tried?

That would be his former girlfriend Reva he has been together with in Portland before he changed his life and moved to Night City. Reva fell into a hopeless cyberspychosis caused by adding more and more chrome to her body that was more like cheap scrap metal infected with lots of malware and at a certain point it took away her entire humanity. Once V noticed in his own drugged mind (as he used to take blue glass) that something is not right with her anymore, he tried to save her so hard. To talk her out of adding more and get it checked before installing. She grew very violent because of it and nearly killed V one day with her Mantis Blades (hence he's got the throat cyberware) so he had to defend himself to stay alive by uploading a brainware blowout to her in self defense. He's traumatized forever by that and has nightmares about it. Reva is a good example why Vijay is so concerned about his best friend Ryder as Ryder too walks at the edge of Cyberpsychosis but the difference between Ry and Reva is that Ry wants help to get rid of his problems, Reva didn't. Vijay will do everything to save Ryder. The installed mod is only a temporary help and also a safe option for V (as he fears out of control Ry wth blades out as well -> ptsd trauma) until they find a solution.

5. What's their moral compass like?

Thyjs is pragmatic and goal-oriented, values discipline, structure and rules, aligning himself with authority figures to maintain societal order. He does not care about what others think of his actions, he only cares about his actions being correct according to his moral code. But he dos not lecture his code to others. Moral decisions don’t come into the equation for him so even if he hurts others in carrying out his duty, he feels barely anything. It’s just business. So, when it comes to taking a life, Thyjs may do so if it aligns with the rules and laws he follows (aka Militech), even if it seems morally ambiguous. His actions are guided by a commitment to a well-ordered society, and he may prioritize the greater good over individual moral considerations. Because Thyjs as a Lawful Neutral can appear to be emotionless in following his laws it is easy for him to appear Lawful Evil. However, unlike Lawful Evil, he does not do it for enjoyment, nor is he seeking to spread evil in society. There's also the fact that some of the combat drugs he took infected his decisions. Thyjs will eliminate others while defending his allies. In fact, he will follow any order given to him by a person in a position of power in the system of order that he follows. He was raised to be like this since he was a child. When in society, Thyjs will always act as is fitting for his role and position in society and expects others to do the same. As an ally, he is honest and trustworthy and will never break promises.

7. What's their pain tolerance?

Ryder has a very high pain tolerance. That has mostly to do with his Berserk system as it compensates the taken damage for more strength but even before he installed that cyberware, he somehow learned to endure pain more or less, both physically and mentally as neither his childhood nor his young adulthood were painless. Beast also inflicts a lot of pain to him, especially when he's not able to controll it and is doomed to watch it using him. It's hard to describe this pain he's feeling. But coming back to physical pain, e.g. during fights. No matter how hard he will be slammed against something he will get up and continue to fight as said berserk helps him to compensate and ignore it for a certain time spawn. He already broke several rips without knowing, even tho he's got dermal armor as protection installed. When he eases back down only then he might feel something at least distorted when it's not broken. He won't be whiny about it tho – it's the contrary, he acts like it's nothing. Vijay (and later Thyjs) will have to command him to stay in bed and recover.

11. Do they have empathy? For whom? For what?

Hizumi has empathy for people that have same or similar interests as them. If you are totally into mythical creatures or even into their home country Japan, Hizumi will consider to like you faster than normal. They only like those with a good heart and soul and who appreciate their weird self as Hizumi likes to not talk mostly. So if you are someone who appreciates just their presence without feeling the need to constantly talk about certain topics they will appreciate you lots.

19. How do they view the world? Are they an optimist? A pessimist? A realist?

Jaysen views the world like a western – just in a modern setting. You have the outlaws (the bad gangers), you have the bankers (corporates), you have the sheriff (ncpd) and you have the bounty hunters (mercs). Only the strongest survive in it and a good bounty hunter knows how to get around and how to earn money. He's got an optimisitic world view and thinks all will play into his hands somehow and that he's too clever to be caught or locked up as his netrunner skills are above that of a normal runner and he will always find an escape route. And even bad days don't let him be pessimistic, he knows after bad days comes good ones as well.

Hi, I’m Spidersilk. I’m 21, I use she/they pronouns, I like metal (especially death, doom, and black), and am also a tradeswoman. I like to fill my time doing things with my hands. I like to crochet, cross stitch, do macrame, and sometimes I bake. I also took four years of culinary classes so I’m a good cook. I’m not exceptional by any means, but I do know my way around the kitchen.

I also have a plethora of other crafts and hobbies I want to learn. If I can make it with my hands, there’s a good chance I want to learn how to do it.

My current list to learn is chain mail, stained glass, and basketry. Unfortunately I don’t make enough money to explore every craft :(

I really enjoy Stardew Valley! I don’t have a go to spouse, but I’m trying to make a save to romance each bachelor/ette.

I’m also really passionate about body mods, specifically tattoo and piercing, but I’m learning more about heavy body mods. As intimidating as they seem, they’re very cool!

I am into witchcraft and the occult, however I have a lot to learn and not enough time and resources to actually practice 99% of the time. I’m trying to figure out little ways to incorporate it into my life, however adult life has been incredibly more busy than I originally anticipated, so I haven’t been able to delve into it as much as I’ve liked.

If I do post, it will likely be about projects I’m working on, or stated interests :)

It's Time to Meet Them!

Before I start winding down for bed tonight, I figured, I'd finally introduce my alters/headmates! (Not sure which term I should use. I'm still a tad new to this.) Let's do this!

To preface, some of my system members may be triggering to some, given their canon sources. The listing will be under the read more!

Miguel O’Hara

Role: Protector/Caregiver

Age: 34

Gender: Male

Strong, dedicated, and brave. Miguel is his universe’s one and only Spider-Man. He comes from Earth 928-B, and lives in the year 2099. He discovered a way to travel through the multiverse, and in doing so, formed a special taskforce to ensure its safety. Whenever he isn’t busy protecting Nueva York, he’s monitoring the multiverse for any abnormalities. Despite his scary appearance, he's actually quite sweet.

Important Info: Miguel has severe trauma pertaining to abuse and loss. Please be mindful that he may not answer any questions or reply to comments involving those topics. Nor will he talk about them. Unless you know him personally, don’t ask. He’s also really busy most of the time, so responses may come late, or not at all.

Knockout

A former Decepticon turned Autobot, Knockout has seen his fair share of hardships. He was once a mod surgeon on his home planet of Cybertron. However, once the war started, he became a medic for the Decepticons. After coming to earth, he joined the Autobots. A caregiver by nature, Knockout always tries his best to treat any and all patients with love and respect. Despite his change in sides, one thing has stayed the same: His meticulous care routine. He takes pride in how he looks, and will do anything to keep his paint glistening.

Important Info: Being a medic, he's quite busy. He may not respond right away.

Breakdown

Role: Caregiver/Protector

A Wrecker with a spark of gold, Breakdown is the prime example of a golden retriever person. The gentle giant has energy to spare, even after strenuous activity! Like Knockout, Breakdown is a former Decepticon, joining the Autobots after arriving on earth. He has immense strength, but is a little dumb at times. He lost an optic (eye) due to M.E.C.H, an organization that sought to harness Cybertronian anatomy for their personal gain.

Important Info: In regards to the M.E.C.H situation, Breakdown has PTSD. Please be mindful not to trigger it. Don’t mention the organization, or Cylas. If you want to know about that specifically, ask Knockout or me (The host).

Starscream

Role: Protector

Age: 4,500,00

Gender: Male

A cunning strategist and former Commander of the Decepticons, Starscream can be a force to be reckoned with. However, his sharp mind can often be dulled by his impulsivity and rashness. Having been Megatron’s right hand for centuries, Starscream has seen his fair share of terrible things. He’s even done terrible things himself, but he’s trying to make up for it. Working with the Autobots is merely the first step.

Important Info: Starscream is a victim of severe physical, emotional, and psychological abuse. As a result, he is often highly anxious and quick to anger. Please don’t mention Megatron around him. Don’t use aggressive language; it triggers him very badly. If you ask him about anything pertaining to his days as a Decepticon, he may not answer right away. Or, he may not answer at all, depending on the topic. If you want to know more about any of Starscream’s triggers, please ask Knockout, Breakdown, or me.

Cloud Strife

Role: Protector

Gender: Male

A former SOLDIER infantryman with a tendency of being a self-proclaimed badass, Cloud is definitely a man of great consequence. Toting around the massive Buster Sword, his augmented strength is nothing to sneeze at. However, despite his hard exterior, he’s actually quite nice– if you know how to treat him.

Important Info: He may come off as stand-offish at times, but he doesn’t mean to. He has trauma pertaining to loss and manipulation. Due to his trauma, he has PTSD, so please don’t talk about Sephiroth if it can be helped.

Nanaki/Red XIII

Role: Caregiver

Age: 48 human years (15 or 16 in Buma years)

Gender: Male

A sentient beast with red fur and a fiery tail. Nanaki, known to most as Red XIII, is a loyal companion. He may not understand a lot of things, given his age, but he tries his best. Born in Cosmo Canyon, Nanaki lived in the wild most of his life– until he was captured by Shinra and sent to Midgar. Once he was placed in Shinra’s R&D laboratory, he was subjected to many, unethical things; none of which I’ll mention because it triggers me. A little shy, Nanaki may stammer or stutter sometimes when he speaks. But once he finds his footing, he speaks fairly eloquently.

Important Info: Nanaki is a minor! Please refrain from talking about anything 18+. He has some trauma involving Shinra's R&D department; namely, Hojo. He'll talk about it, but he might not respond in a timely manner.
